Duchess Anna Henrietta gave me a house in exchange for agreeing to take on a contract. To be honest, I'm not really sure what to do with it. I've never owned a house before. Good thing it came with a dude who manages household stuff for me, or I'd probably just not bother doing anything with the property at all. (Is he my employee now? Do I have to pay him? I don't understand how any of this works.)
There are racks to hang up weapons and armor but I didn't feel like digging things out of my stash to display so I just hung up the one extra sword I've been carrying around.
I also noticed places on the wall that would be perfect for hanging paintings, but I didn't have any paintings. While I was out looking for new Gwent cards, I found someone who selling a bunch of paintings, so I bought them all. One of them was a portrait of Emhyr var Emreis, which I hung up in my bedroom at my house. (I just thought it was funny to put it there.)
