"Em, that was the worst gig we've ever worked together," I grumbled into the phone.
"Believe me, we are never working that Faire again," Emmett agreed in my earbud. "How's the apartment look?"
"Just got off the elevator, so I'll see what it looks like. It can't be that bad if Esme let me sign the lease."
"True, she would never let you move into some shithole."
"Exactly. Right now I'm just looking forward to sleeping late tomorrow."

I looked up just in time to see a girl with cat leggings and a thick brunette ponytail duck into the door just past mine. I wouldn't mind living here if I got to see more of 7G.
