MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!

Yep - I popped up with some cute little Langson goodness. Was not expecting to get something done within an hour tonight, but I was inspired by this adorable little writing kit that I purchased today. The prompts and tips really helped to get the creative juices flowing again and honestly, it felt good to put something out.

So, here we are. Just some cute little established Langson celebrating Christmas.

Enjoy xo

Christmas Love [Meant To Be Collection]

Her heart felt like it was beating out of her chest every time he looked at her. Never had she felt so loved and cherished. She had to take a deep breath, to feel the air in her lungs and to get a whiff of his expensive smelling cologne - a reminder that this was real, that he really was here in the flesh and wasn't going anywhere.

She peered at the princess cut engagement ring on her finger. Trevor Langan had really asked her to marry him last night, and she had really said yes. After all, there was no other answer. She was crazy about this man, and wanted to spend forever with him.

Olivia Benson had spent so long in survival mode. From a young age, she had experienced the harsh realities of life through her mother's abuse, through shitty relationships, and through the constant misogyny she faced in a male dominated law enforcement industry as she fought to prove that she belonged there too. She took care of herself, she fought hard to stay alive even when traumatic experiences threatened to strip her of any life she had left in her.

In more recent years, her main source of happiness - and main reason for surviving - was the curly haired nine-year-old little boy that had become the center of her world. When Noah fell into her lap, it felt like a new chapter had opened in her life, that she had finally found the reason for fighting so hard to survive. With Noah came Trevor Langan, and she never would have imagined how important Trevor would become to her.

Their friendship blossomed over the years. They had grown to socialize outside of Noah related things; had been there for each other through hard times, leaning one another for support and offering advice and comfort when necessary. Trevor had always had a soft spot for Olivia anyway, and his admiration and respect - and the soft spot - had only grown over the years. The feeling was mutual; Olivia admired Trevor and respected him, and those feelings had continued to grow over the years.

And in the last couple years, those feelings of respect and admiration were accompanied with feelings of love, adoration, lust, so many feelings.

In each other, they had found a forever best friend and a lover - and they were so blissfully happy.

Fast forward to now - December 2021: she and Noah were living with Trevor in his fancy - and rather expensive - apartment in the Upper part of Manhattan. They had moved in with him a few months ago during the summer months, after he and Olivia had celebrated their two-year anniversary. Despite the conflicts of interest that could potentially arise with the two of them being involved, the two didn't let those thoughts bother them. They loved each other and were going to be together forever, regardless.

Even as she sat here on the plush grey sofa, in cheesy blue Christmas pajamas adorned in smiling snowmen and snowflakes, she couldn't wipe the smile from her face. Her slender fingers curled around the warm mug of hot French vanilla flavored coffee that rested between her hands, and she kept glancing at Trevor every now and then as he helped Noah open some gifts. The two of them were sitting next to their beautiful eight foot Christmas tree with the most beautiful decorations and lights twinkling in the morning sun that streamed through the windows of Trevor's fancy apartment. Trevor wore these same cheesy Christmas pajamas that Olivia and Noah were wearing, and even still he looked so ridiculously handsome. Olivia really couldn't believe that this is what her life had become, but she wouldn't trade any of this life for anything in the world. Finally, she was so happy and settled.

"Alright dude, sort that out and then we're gonna have breakfast."

"Thanks Dad." Noah's little face was full of happiness, and Olivia wanted to cry. The recent development of Noah referring to Trevor as dad never failed to make her feel so happy. She took a breath; her cheeks were hurting from smiling. God, she was so happy.

Trevor made his way over and sat beside her on the couch, the two of them now leaned against the cushions. Heat radiated through the apartment; the television was on low as the Macy's Christmas Parade had its annual showing on the major news channels for the city. Trevor draped his arm around her shoulders, and Olivia found herself smiling as she looked up at him.

"Did we go overboard?"

"I think we did, but it's fine…he's happy." He chuckled softly, his lips brushing against her forehead. Olivia blushed at the sweet gesture; her cheeks flushed as a feeling of warmth spread through her. She now had a full understanding of what it was like to be in love; to break through infatuation, to not have that fear that the picture of happiness would shatter around her as the grounds shook with instability. No; this was what it was like to be happy and stable and simple 'in love'; and she loved this feeling.

She reached out and placed the mug on the coffee table, before shuffling over into his lap. Trevor wrapped his arms tighter around her torso, and he leaned his head around to kiss her cheek a couple times. She turned her head to face him, only to smirk a little when he caught her lips in a quick kiss. Trevor Langan had turned her into such a girl, and she didn't even care.

Again, this was what it must be like to simply be in love.

The two of them sat together while watching Noah sort out some more of his gifts; their hearts warmed as his laughter filled the air and his face lit up with pure happiness. This was what Christmas was about; spending time with the ones you loved and seeing the joy displayed across the faces of a child. Trevor and Olivia glanced at each other every now and then while watching Noah, and both were so glad that they could give him a Christmas that he deserved.

After a short while, Olivia was cleaning up the wrapping paper while Noah and Trevor were in the kitchen making breakfast. Noah was listening intently while Trevor guided him in making pancakes with green and red sprinkles. He showed him how to mix the batter, when to throw sprinkles into the mix, and how long to let them cook until they were the perfect golden brown. Noah was all smiles and giggles as he was so proud of the fact that he was able to help Trevor with breakfast.

Olivia watched them both for a moment; her heart was pounding, butterflies fluttered in her stomach, the smile on her face only grew - if that was even possible. This almost felt like an insight as to how her future would be, and what a beautiful sight it was.

Once Noah and Trevor finished with breakfast, Noah went about washing his hands to eat while Trevor finished putting their food on the table. Olivia wandered up and placed a hand on his arm, capturing his attention. He looked up and tilted his head, the cutest smirk on his lips; "May I help you, Mrs. Langan to be?"

Olivia leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips, and Trevor wasted no time in eagerly reciprocating the kiss as he slid his arms sound her waist. He gave her a tender squeeze, and her lips parted ever so slightly. His tongue slid between her lips, his grip on her tightened while she slid a hand up to rest on the side of his face. Their hearts were racing, and they were swept up in the most beautiful wave of love.

It was Noah running through to the kitchen while shouting "I'm done!" that caused the two of them to break apart. Olivia's teeth grazed over her kiss bruised lip, pulling the puffy flesh in between her pearly whites for a moment while her sparkling brown eyes poured into the cerulean orbs belonging to Trevor. He was gazing at her, his lips parted ever so slightly, and his breathing labored.

"Wow." he whispered.

"I'm just…so happy with you" she quietly remarked, reaching an arm up to drape around his neck; "You're everything and more to us, and I'm glad to have another Christmas with you."

Trevor gave her a soft, handsome grin. He leaned in and kissed her forehead before quietly responding; "I love you so much, baby; Merry Christmas, my love."

Olivia thought her heart would burst. She stood on her toes and gave him one more light peck before quietly whispering.

"Merry Christmas, baby; I love you more."

Well, let me know what you guys think. I appreciate you all so much. Merry Christmas, and stay safe! :) xo
