It was between shows and Edie, who would normally be talking my ear off, was silently looking around.

"What are you looking for, Edie?"

"Princess Belle?"

"The princess here is Mary, and she's in the courtyard."

"No, Princess Belle was here yesterday. But today she's not here."

"My neighbor, Bella?"

"Yeah," Esme said. "Carlisle met her yesterday when Edie ran over to her after your show. Apparently she ran into Emmett at your building and he invited her. She was very sweet with Edie."

"I'm sure. She's a nice person and was very engaging with Edie when we first met her. You said Em invited her?"

"From what Carlisle said. Why? Is there a problem?"

"I don't know. It all depends if she's seen the show and goes running for the hills."

"If she does, then she isn't worth your time."
