Okay, yeah, I'm putting this up top. This needs to be addressed quickly. This fic is only Rated M because it involves torture and death. A kid even died here if you need to be reminded. There will be NSFW jokes and implications of 2 characters doing the sex, but I am not writing a sex scene. This ain't a smutfic. This is a message is for the horny mfs. Also there's not gonna be a harem for anyone here. You already know my general opinion on harems through the other fic I did. Izuku and Himiko broke up lmao. Trish and Izuku is platonic. Katsuki is in a complicated stage right now. Mineta, despite having development, will still not get bitches. By choice. The current canon ship right now is Hawks x Tatsumaki.

Chapter 48:

Murry was concerned. Izuku was oddly quieter than normal on the train home. Not to mention, he had a thousand yard stare all the way through. Nighteye has requested that he watch Izuku in case he goes into a state of psychosis, which will be bad considering his quirk. The two entered the dorm room and were greeted by everyone. Izuku pulled Camie aside and into his room. He came back out and pulled Toga in as well.

"What happened?" Nagamasa was the first to ask him. Everyone looked at Murry for an answer, but the smoker simply shrugged. He told them what happened back in Nighteye's agency and Izuku acting weird after a talk with Nighteye.

"This is not good." Kenshi wondered to himself what could have happened behind closed doors. Based on Gran Torino's description, Nighteye was a rough mentor but never outright cruel. There must have been an outside factor that caused Izuku to act rather grim. "Whatever it was that managed to make him act like this, be prepared to help him. No doubt, he would not have abandoned us if we were in a similar situation."

"No need to tell me twice, my motherfuckin' friend." Chifu was also concerned with what happened. Everyone is. Inasa is oddly quiet, and Riku is a bit less quiet than usual.

"Regardless, the harlot and Toga are the closest to him. I would argue that Trish also is, despite their usual interactions, but she isn't here." Seiji added while keeping his eye on Murry. Out of a show of good faith, Murry elected to sleep in the common rooms, but Seiji only grew more suspicious of him.

"Okay, people, now's not the good time to crowd outside the room. We won't ask him even if he gets out unless he wants to talk about it. Also, please don't act like nothing happened when he's near." Nagamasa told everyone. They all agreed and went their way. The only thing that could go wrong was Trish coming back here without prior knowledge and proceeding to taunt him. That is a disaster waiting to happen if Camie was not joking about Izuku being the more patient version of his sister Tatsumaki.

Izuku's Dorm Room…

Himiko and Camie sat on the bed while Izuku was pacing back and forth. They knew he was planning ways on how to tell them something. He was about to speak when something knocked on his window. It was his sister, Tatsumaki. She looked equally distressed as he was.

"You do know I still have my empathy link with you, right?" That was the first thing she said as soon as Izuku opened the window. She entered the room, and he closed it. Izuku took a deep breath. He opened and closed his mouth again, hesitant to speak. "Izuku, I'm worried. You wouldn't normally be this… afraid."

"I'm dying." That's all he said. It took two minutes before all three processed what he just told them.

"What?" Himiko was the first to speak. She didn't understand what she meant. "Was he sick? Is there a hit on him? Some government conspiracy?" She thought to herself, wondering what he meant by it. Camie herself stayed quiet.

"I know you're not joking. Elaborate." Tatsumaki demanded from him. She did not like his tone, nor did she like the words that came out of his mouth. So he did. He explained all of what happened during his attempt to join Nighteye's agency. It became more and more ridiculous as he spoke, but Tatsumaki knew he wasn't lying. Camie knew he wasn't lying. Himiko could tell that he wasn't lying, ridiculous as it might be. All four remained speechless, not knowing what to say. "I am going to kill All Might." Tatsumaki finally spoke.

"W-wait! H-He couldn't h-have kn-known." Izuku was reduced to a stuttering mess. Even now, he doesn't blame All Might. Nobody knew what One For All would do. Not even its previous holders until now. Even then, it's better this early than when he's dying. "S-sis, please. He could not have known."

"You're just a kid!" Tatsumaki yelled while raising her arms. There was a slight tremor in the room as her psychic quirk activated involuntarily. It didn't take long for tears to get out. "Okay, how about this? You give me the quirk."

"N-no. You're g-gonna d-die if I give it to you."

"But you won't die." Tatsumaki answered. Camie finally did something, first using her hand to put down Tatsumaki's hand. She took a deep breath.

"So, Izuku. You got until 30. The voices in your head think you can solve this if you know a guy." Camie started. Izuku nodded at what Camie was saying. "Well, we both know a guy, but to get that guy to help you, you gotta get him in on this whole One For All bullshit."

"Your deadline is what? In 14 years? Izuku, you have a lot of time on your hands to figure this shit out. I don't want you to die either, but I don't want to see you turn into a mess. Or I'll turn into a mess, too." Camie placed her hands on his shoulders. "I ain't about to give up."

And then Camie vomited.

"What the hell?! That's my bed!" Izuku lost his stutter at the fact that there was vomit on his bed when there was clearly a trash can. The vomit disappeared, along with the illusion that Camie made. She did not throw up at all, but that was enough to put him out of a panic attack.

"Hahahahaah! You fell for it, you little bitch! We got 14 years to deal with that shit. If I know anyone who can figure it out, it's you!" Camie lightly punched his shoulder, not really worried, since she knew out of anyone that he'd pull through.

"Oh yeah? Well? I- uh, sis, Himiko, can you leave the room for a minute? I need to, uh, talk to Camie about, um, what she said back at the Kamino." Izuku shyly asked the other two platonically important women of his life. Camie instantly lost her smile and paled at what he said. "Yeah, I definitely heard what you said."

"Oooh, drama. I wish I could stay, Cam-chan, but this looks like it's your turn with Izu-kun." Himiko teased Camie while Tatsumaki pushed her out of the room. Izuku's older sister gave Camie the glare before leaving the room.

"She had no right to glare at you after what she did with Hawks. It was not fun walking in on them that one time." Izuku shuddered, remembering opening the door at the wrong time. "Okay, back to business. What did you mean?"

"Well, I, uh…" Camie struggled to find an answer. She could not face him right now. "Ya know, as a friend and-" Izuku covered her mouth, not really having it before getting way too close to her. She blushed as he removed his hand from her mouth. They were extremely close and were about to make a full mouth to mouth contact, but Izuku pulled away.

"I knew it." Izuku didn't let her see his face, but she knew he was red as well. "I… I can't."

"This better not be the bullshit of great responsibility and not letting shit get in the wa-"

"I like you a lot, too, but it's hard to see you that way." He's still not facing her.

"See me… what way?"

"YOU HAD A CRUSH ON ME AND YOU DON'T GET IT?!" Izuku finally faced Camie, and she was right about him being red as well. "This is all happening too fast. I'm technically dying a slow death, but hearing you makes me forget all about it." He wrapped his head in his arms, not really able to still look at her.

"Oh."

"Just oh?! Seriously? I-" Izuku paused for a moment to recollect himself. "I like you too, but well, it might take some time before I see you as anything more than family."

"Wait, you thought I was family." Camie's eyes brightened when she heard that from me. She smiled while comically crying tears of joy. "Man, close enough."

"Wait wait wait, look. I'm not opposed to dating you." Izuku unwrapped his face. "But, I kinda just officially broke up with Himiko and I can't see you as a girlfriend yet."

"Yet, huh? Well, now we're definitely more than best friends but less than lovers. Friends with ben-"

"NO!" Izuku yelled out. "Can you even, right now, confidently say in a dead serious tone that you can suck my dick?"

"I can suck your-"

"Just imagine it while saying that."

"I'll, uh-" Well, she imagined his abs, but anything beyond that when she was truly trying to be serious was… "Uuuhh, I can… crap."

She shook her head. Too much pining had blinded her every step towards this exact confession. This was exactly what she wanted, but why did it not feel right to her? She loves him, that much is true, but she agreed to him seeing her as a family. She saw him as this, too. Camie also wanted more than that, but when the time came, she was not as ready as she believed. Was she simply jealous of how close Himiko and Izuku were to each other back then? She made a face thinking about it, but concluded that it wasn't just envy. "Did I simply feel entitled to have him for myself?"

That wasn't the case either. She would not have been that upset if he found another. It only really hurts when it was Himiko that beat her to it. She did not blame her friend for it either, she simply shot her shot earlier and succeeded. What was Izuku to her that she liked him that much? Was it because he was the one who could be her true first and best friend? "Man, love is complicated. Fuck it, let's see how this goes."

She leaned forward and caught him off guard with a kiss on his lips. That felt weird to her. Something about this all feels weird to her. That did not stop her from blushing, though. She was the first to break off from the kiss after what felt like years to both of them, even if it only happened in an instant. Izuku finally snapped out of it.

"I- I- wh- huh?!" He touched his lips while still struggling to come up with words. Camie slapped sanity back to him.

"Okay, remember when you told me I'm like family to you and that you can't seem to see me as a girlfriend yet?" Camie paused, making sure she finally made up her mind. "Yeah, I kinda- I kinda feel the same way. I love you, too, but I think I took it too fast."

"We don't really see each other as well- I can't find the exact words for it." Izuku tried knocking on his brain for answers and the right words, but he really couldn't on this one. "How about we just take this slowly, okay? Go on a date-date?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I'd like that. When though?"

"That, I don't know. Maybe after Murry and I kick some bitch's ass. That's for sure. I heard the UA Culture Festival is a few weeks away. Maybe we could go there?" Izuku only knew about it because Shoji told him about it. The Vice President of 1A is very slick on wanting some help from the former Vice President of 1A. He wondered to himself if his friend always saw this coming and that's why he felt the need to tell him about it. "Also, off topic, but I don't know how to convince Seiji that I'm not a lunatic by letting him in on the big One For All secret."

"Oh, that's gonna be a hard one, yeah." Camie thought about it, but Seiji rarely believes in anything that sounds outlandish. "Anyway, let's skip to UA, shall we?"

"Camie, what the hell are you-"

UA

"See ya later, guys!" Kirishima waved goodbye to everyone to start his work study. Ochaco and Tsuyu already left for their own work study. Tokoyami was recently birdnapped by Hawks. Katsuki is currently at his own work with Mirko while Todoroki is doing some make-up tests for failing the license exam.

That leaves everybody else. Well, technically there's only five of them right now in the common room. Mineta, Momo, Shoji, Iida, and Awase are all there discussing a few things for the Cultural Festival coming up in a few weeks. Awase is there because Kendo sent him as a representative to help 1A coordinate a plan to not let Monoma sabotage anything they plan to do. The man's recent attitude earned him the disdain of even his classmates. The relations between the two classes became closer ironically because of an open secret that Class 1A's most violent student and Class 1B's angel have a crush on one another. The funniest part is that neither of them wants to admit it.

"And so, we've yet to discuss what we really plan to do until everyone in class is available. Our logistics officer, Uraraka, is currently busy with an upcoming collaboration with Kirishima for some hero activity coming in a week." Momo explained to Awase, who was pretending to understand what she just said after the first sentence. Mineta can see through him like a book, but because he's a friend, he opted to stay silent. He just so happened to be here at the right time.

"Apparently, two students from Shiketsu, particularly Midoriya and Mokemuri, will be involved as well." Shoji added in, letting everyone know that the friendly rivalry between the two schools is still alive and well.

"Man, that guy is everywhere." Awase always pitied Izuku for being put into the wrong place at the right time. "Then again, at least he's not dealing with an annoying ass rabbit."

"I'll have you know that Mirko is an upstand-"

"Iida, she destroyed my club's greenhouse." Mineta stopped Iida from saying anything else. She still has not paid for it, even when she promised to pay for it. He would rather not deal with a moody Ibara. In fact, he was impressed that she hadn't lost her temper yet. This was the tenth time the Greenhouse was destroyed. "And she still hasn't paid for the damages."

"Well… I'm sure she will, eventually!"

"Oh, she better. I'm pretty sure Shiozaki is getting closer and closer to Judgement Day." Awase added up, as Shiozaki had been less… peaceful about it.

"Regardless, do Class 1B have plans for the upcoming festival?" Momo asked her friend from 1B.

"Well, there's Monoma crafting some sort of weird play. Right after he stole my stuff."

"Your stuff?" Shoji raised an eyebrow, not liking where this is going.

"Just old pieces of literature and movies from the 20th to 21st century. No biggie. If he ruins anything, I'll weld him to the ceiling and leave him there for three days." Awase was serious. Those things were valuable to him. Star Wars, Star Trek, Warhammer, Transformers, Monty Python, and other things that caught his interest were rare nowadays.

"Even if Monoma is a rather unpleasant individual, I advise you not to do so. Please, Yosetsu?" Momo asked him nicely. He had the audacity to roll his eyes in front of her, but still nodded.

"Fine, as you wish, Momo. Your majesty." He mockingly bowed before her, only for Momo to lightly slap his shoulder again, clearly amused by his action.

"Really? You two somehow got that close?" Mineta narrowed his eyes at both of them. The two just shrugged.

"It helps that we helped clear your name together." Awase reminded him of the time he saved his ass from getting expelled, as well as the reason nobody likes Monoma anymore. The asshole went too far with what he did, thinking he was doing everyone a favour.

"So does that mean you two are…?"

"Mineta, let's not go too deep into this. They're just friends." Shoji stopped Mineta from implying anything. The dude is only a little bit of a pervert now, but nothing that could be considered creepy. If anything, Mineta transferred all that energy to being nosy about his friends' relationships.

"Yeah, a relationship between Momo and I will never happen in a hundred years." Awase reassured Mineta.

"A hundred years, huh?" Momo chuckled while lightly slapping Awase's shoulder. "I hope to live that long."

Mineta, Shoji, and even Iida's eyes widened at what Momo just said. This came totally out of left field, and she was acting uncharacteristically cute. Unfortunately…

"Well, you're gonna have to be real lucky. Average life expectancy of active heroes on duty is usually 78 years old if they actually get to retire. Some just die early in the field and-" What Momo said completely went over Awase's head and he rambled on about how heroes should definitely learn how to take care of themselves more or it will only lead to self-destruction and whatever else.

"You dense motherfucker." Mineta managed to blurt out. This only confused Awase more while Momo sighed hopelessly, as if she was expecting this to be the exact result of what she said.

"What the hell did you think I did this time?" Awase asked Mineta, to which the boy only responded with a shrug at the silent request of Momo. "Okay now at this point you guys are just messing with me. I need to head back now." He picked up his stuff and left. The moment the door closed, everyone facepalmed.

"Not a word of this to anyone." Momo in her Class President tone told everyone present in the room.

"Okay."

"Gah!" Mienta reflexively jumped on Shoji when he suddenly heard a voice behind him. Everybody looked to see no one there. "Hagakure?!"

"I was here the entire time."

"Why are you naked?!" Mineta asked, but none of them heard anything else. Only footsteps of someone going upstairs quickly. Mineta quickly realised what's about to happen. "STOP HER FROM REACHING MINA, IIDA! FOR YAOYOROZU'S SAKE!"

"VERY WELL!" The class speedster ran after the invisible girl.

With Awase…

He grumbled while walking back to his dorm. It's not that he didn't notice, he only elected to ignore that shit. After witnessing the absolute mess that is Ibara and Katsuki, he decided not to even try for any romantic relationship with anyone. Even Momo. He passed by the Greenhouse to make sure nothing tried to destroy it. Luckily, he was there on time when he noticed a hole in the side. "Is this another prank?"

He carefully approached the Greenhouse and opened the door. There was no one inside, but he heard a sudden noise. Something sped in front of him, and he found it difficult to follow. When it finally stopped, he knew what it was. "Is that a… tanuki?!"

A quirked animal? In UA? He only knew of two other quirked animals. This one doesn't seem so sapient as the other two. He looked around to see that it was feeding on the berries they planted a week ago. No other damages elsewhere. Against his instincts, he approached the tanuki carefully. It stared at him as he slowly walked towards it. He wasn't stupid enough to reach out his hand. There were no nets nearby and Aizawa might be too busy to deal with this. The tanuki finally moved towards him quickly. Way too quick even for a tanuki. It rubbed against his legs. Not taking any chances, he plucked out some berries and handed it to the animal. It began sniffing his palm before eating the berries. Once it's finished, it turns around and leaves through the same hole it entered from.

"Okay, crisis averted for now. Shiozaki might want to get wind of this. I got a feeling it'll come back for more." In hindsight, he should not have hand fed it berries. It might associate humans as a source of food. "I wonder if I could make it our club's mascot. If it's gonna end up visiting us regularly, I might as well use it for free advertising."

He finally went to the dorms and the first thing he said.

"Oi, Shiozaki! You got a name for that tanuki I found in our Greenhouse?"

"A what?!"

Seiji's Dorm Room

They told him the gist of everything. Seiji took a deep breath, went out for a bit to get some water from the fridge, drank from it, and came back to his room. He took another deep breath. After some calculations in his mind, he finally said what he planned to say.

"Is this a prank, or are you genuinely insane?" He asked Izuku with genuine concern. First, he discovers he was sharing a room with a gang member, and now his classmate came in to reveal to him that he will die in a decade or so.

"Okay, you know what? Fuck it. I'm calling in someone you will definitely trust." Izuku took out his phone and searched his contact list for someone. Once he found her number, he called her. The answer was immediate, and Seiji instantly recognized the voice. "Hello, Recovery Girl? No, I didn't break anything this time. I have broken nothing in a long time. I can confirm to you that the reason I am calling you involves an update with my quirk. One For All. I won't live past 30. Yes, you heard that correctly, please don't panic. I already panicked, so you don't have to. Uh, I forgot to tell All Might and Sir Nighteye were the first to know. I'm afraid to tell Gran Torino. Yes, yes, I know I should tell him. My source is that remember the vestiges that All Might told you about? Yeah, the first user came back and told Nighteye that I will end up dying early, if not from hero work, then from the effects of One For All overloading my body. Yes, yes. From what I understood, it involves the quirk factor. Yeah, yeah. I know a guy. We both know a guy. He's your favourite intern-"

Seiji was touched by the fact that he was Recovery Girl's favourite intern. Then again, he recalls he was the only intern the heroine ever took. This was a shameless attempt made by Izuku to flatter him. He would have been offended if it weren't for the fact that Izuku never hid the fact that he was a shameless jerk 60% of the time. Apparently, the niceness of the Midoriya family skipped Tatsumaki and Izuku, which then poured all of itself into the youngest sibling, Fubuki.

"Okay, so here's the phone." Izuku handed it to Seiji.

"Yes, Izuku is not fooling you." Seiji instantly went pale. It wasn't the quirk itself. No, it was because it was handed to someone like Izuku. He could not deny that the Vice President of the class is very cunning and intelligent when it matters, but he could never imagine the top hero entrusting him with such a power. "It appears that he will need the two of us if he wants to save himself and live."

"Sorry, miss. I didn't expect to be entrusted with such a secret."

"The circumstances have changed. I trust you will keep this a secret? You are aware of the consequences if this becomes public." Seiji audibly gulped, imagining the chaos that could erupt from this. Furthermore, the amount of villains that would go after Izuku and his family for a chance at getting such power scares him. Regardless of what he thinks, nobody deserves that burden. "It's a good thing we discovered the true potential of your quirk, have we not? I will be busy for a few days, but I expect you to report to me during your work study again after your school's cultural festival. Live a little, boy."

Recovery Girl hangs up. Seiji took one last deep breath before facing Izuku.

"Who else knew?"

"Well, there's you, Camie, Himiko, my big sister, Gran Torino, Sir Nighteye, Bakugou, and I think Chifu? She keeps calling me the 9th Messiah? She probably found out on her own. Her religious stuff isn't really that understood by anyone else, but I think she prefers it that way to keep my secret. If anything, I think that the Okinawan Clown Cult that Chifu is a part of definitely knows." Izuku tries to recall everyone who knew of the secret. Seiji was surprised that a lot of the class would know about it.

"You are an incompetent secret keeper."

"To be fair, my sister found out through All Might. All Might's mentor IS Gran Torino. Bakugou found out when All For One took us hostage when he showed the heads of the dead users of my quirk."

"I'm sorry. Can you repeat that last part?"

"No. Chifu's clown cult was created by a One For All user and that's how they knew. Sir Nighteye was All Might's sidekick, so of course he would know. I only ever told Camie and Himiko. Technically Bakugou, but he would have figured it out on his own."

Seiji sighed in exasperation. Are secrets even worth anything anymore when it keeps getting revealed through an unfortunate set of events? "When do we start saving you?"

"Honestly, we have 14 years. I need to finish something up with Murry in our work study."
