Recap:

"Watch our wedding video. It will explain it all. Show it to my dad." He simply said, grinning. Confused, my eyes darted back to his. Our wedding video? The one from our original Las Vegas wedding?

"The one we both decided not to watch?" I questioned, he simply nodded his head with a smirk on his face.

Jake came back in and said we had to say our goodbyes, I kissed Edward lightly and left. He called out "I love you Isabella Swan!"

I giggled and shook my head. I wondered what this meant for us. I quickly texted Alice if she had a copy of our original wedding video. The nurses came in and gave me another dose of painkillers and I drifted off to sleep. Confused as ever.

As requested an Edward POV, it may be less favorable but it's his perspective of the night in question. Fun fact my husband and I actually got married in Vegas when I was 7 months pregnant and did in fact do the "can't help falling in love" package.

Chapter 18 What Happened in Vegas?

I woke up to a few messages from Alice. She had watched the video and was planning to stop by so I could see it.

"Oh my god Bella. This changes everything." She texted. Because of the nature of our wedding she could not send the video online. She would bring a laptop with a DVD player. One with no internet connection, so I could watch the full video.

My nerves were building. What was in that video?

My thoughts floated back to that night. A large blush swept across my face. We were like teenagers. I had never felt so drawn to someone in my life.

Edward's POV

"Jake, I'm just taking myself out to dinner. I don't need a guard for dinner." I ripped at my hair in frustration. I felt like a child always being observed.

"Jazz and I will join him Jakey" Emmett my goofy younger brother added. Emmett had a way of easing any tension in the room. He also was skilled at convincing others when he wanted something, a skill he had mastered by the age of 7.

Jake shook his head and scratched his chin as he considered the proposal. He knew if something happened to us he would be on the hook. However, the chances of anything significant happening were unlikely. We were here for a convention. Life felt dull at the moment. I was to wed Tanya, a close friend, soon. A total sham wedding. Royalty was not something I would have chosen for myself. My life was controlled and planned. Very routined.

"Alright, just dinner nothing more." His eyes locked with mine. I only smirked back. They all knew I had a sense of rebellion within me. Articles and press releases about me had been less than favorable lately. We could not use more bad press. Emmett promised him I would be on my most responsible behavior.

Dinner was enjoyable. We talked about the last time we had been in Las Vegas together. My eyes wandered around the bar. All the American girls were intriguing but none really caught my eye.

"Let's go to Club Aria" I announced to the table. I needed to let go. One night of not being Edward Anthony Cullen, next in line for the throne of Cordova. I would be Eddie, a vacationer someone who just needed a night out. Emmett and Jasper mulled over the idea.

"We don't have to stay long. I just want to let loose and have a few drinks. I rubbed my hair again. My eyes lingered on Emmett's. I knew he would cave. He always did.

Jasper called Alice and we all set off for Club Aria, ready to let go for just one night. We quickly grabbed a few shots of tequila as Lizzo played in the background.

It was busier than I last remembered. The music was blaring, lights flashed of different colors. I felt relieved to be here. Something different, a change of routine.

Emmett found a cute blonde to dance with. Blondes were always his favorite. Jasper just danced near both of them. He was extremely loyal to Alice. He would never even look at another woman. They were a case of opposites attract. Though he was quiet, he was a blast to embark on adventures with. He really knew how to let loose.

My eyes scanned the room as they fell on a cute brunette in a tight red dress. The dress left little to the imagination. She had a stunning figure. A smaller waist and larger breasts. I observed her as she chatted with her friends and drank a shot. Was she here with someone? Was she single?

She turned to face me as her eyes locked onto mine. She wasn't just cute, she was breathtaking. I smirked at her. Her full red lips bit at her lower lip briefly before smiling back at me. Her mouth looked luscious. It was coated in bright red lipstick which complimented her dress. I felt drawn to her as her head turned away again. I felt myself walking toward her, unable to resist the mysterious brunette.

As I approached, she fired another shot. Her friends must have just stepped away, perfect timing I thought. I cleared my throat making my presence known. Her wide brown eyes locked onto mine as she turned around again.

"Hello, I'm Eddie" I smirked again. I took her body in fully. I wanted nothing more than to toss her around right there. I had never felt such a strong attraction to someone so quickly.

"Isabella, but my friends call me Bella" she grinned back at me. Bella, it oddly suited her. Something drew us both together. I couldn't explain it but our connection was undeniable. My hand reached out toward her as I asked her to dance. She nodded her head in response. My smile widened as I pulled her close to me. Emmett and Jasper eyed me in the background, warning me to be careful. I shook my head at them, ignoring their concern.

"I'm in love with the shape of you, push and pull like a magnitude" "I'm in love with your body"

My hands explored as I grabbed Bella closer. Our bodies swayed to the music. My skin felt like it was on fire each time she touched me. Our connection was so strong, I couldn't help but feel the lust dripping from me. More songs passed as I lost myself in Bella. I nuzzled her neck nipping it and sucking. My erection was pressed against her leg as alcohol coursed through both of us.

"Bella?" I asked staring at her bright red lips

"May I kiss you?" I whispered. She hesitated for a moment then grabbed my face and locked her lips to mine. She was heaven. We just fit together. My lips slipped open hoping hers would do the same. They quickly followed suit, as I slipped my tongue into hers. Our tongues battled and mine quickly won. Bella moaned into our kiss. Who was this girl? Where had she been all this time?

Bella's friend Jessica dropped off a few more shots for us. We made small talk but my eyes barely left Bella. If only I was marrying her, I oddly thought to myself.

The night was slightly hazy as my hands explored Bella's body. Each move made her body react. Her moans were erotic. Emmett and Jasper headed out. They told me to behave. I only smirked back at them as I continued to explore all the parts of Bella.

My hand dropped under her skirt. Normally I would not be so bold but this was our only night together. I wanted all of her, as much as I could take. My fingers found their way their way to her panties. They were soaked from her obvious arousal.

"You're so wet Bella" I practically moaned. I hid us behind a corner and slipped a finger into Bella. She moaned loudly

"I want to taste you" I growled bringing my finger up to my mouth and sucking it. She tasted delicious. I needed to get us alone so I could properly explore her. I pumped my fingers in and out of her as she came.

"Let's go" she whispered in my ear as she pulled me toward the exit of the club. We walked unevenly outside the casino as Bella told me a bit about her life. She lived in Washington, she was 25 and was here for a friend's wedding. The more she spoke, the more my head spun. I really liked this girl. We ended up at a Mcdonalds. It was comical really, Bella wanted a Big Mac. She was unlike any other girl I had met before. Eyes stared at us as we made out like teenagers in McDonald's.

"Everyone is staring Eddie" she giggled. I simply nodded my head and nuzzled her neck with my mouth.

"Let them stare" she laughed in response as she took a large bite of her Big Mac. My eyes roamed over hers. The thought of my pending wedding circled my head. If only I had met Bella sooner. I could have explored things with her properly. I knew the alcohol was to blame for my insane thoughts. She was intoxicating, the pull I had for her was growing. I pondered the thought as I texted Emmett my location. Our agreement for the evening was that I would stay in touch. Not to wonder off too far.

"What would happen if I married an American girl?" I texted. The thought was absurd, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it could fix our bad press; Americans are idolized in Cordova. I could always divorce Bella after a bit of time. That wasn't looked down upon.

Emmett texted back a simple "no" and I simply laughed. He was right this was a ridiculous thought.

We walked along the Vegas strip as my hands roamed her body more and more.

"Get a room!" Someone yelled, both giggled in response. Things were extremely blurry for both of us. We were headed to my penthouse suite. It was only a short distance away.

Our eyes were drawn to the little white chapel that was in front of us. The sign read "drive through marriage" I laughed as I pointed out the sign to her.

"Can you imagine how many people wake up the next morning with regret?" She laughed pointing at the happy couple leaving the chapel. They were drunk out of their minds. They were not too different from us. She was wearing a tight pink dress while he was in sneakers. They would regret this the next morning.

As we were about to leave another couple who were about to get married fixed their eyes on ours. A woman named Selene approached us quickly. "We need a witness. We don't have the funds for the extra package that includes a witness. Will you witness our wedding?" The couple begged us both. His name was John. He seemed like a very nice guy. Selene was about 3 months pregnant with their first child. Bella cleared her throat and simply said yes, without question. Another shock to my system. Most people would have laughed and walked past.

Their wedding was fairly quick. Their vows though brief brought us both to tears. It was clear that the pair loved one another. As we left Selene suggested we also marry in the chapel. She said the way I looked at Bella reminded her of how John looked at her. Bella gleamed at them and hugged them both goodbye. John had brought champagne for the occasion, so we all sipped a drink before they headed on their way.

I realized now I would never see Bella again after this night. I would be married and miles apart. Maybe it was the alcohol or maybe it was the wedding we just witnessed, something was telling me I didn't want to be apart from Bella. I had to do something.

"Bella, I know we don't know each other but I'm engaged." Suddenly her face fell and she pushed me off of her. Her eyes darted from mine as her hand floated to her mouth.

"It's not like that, it's arranged. I don't love her." I simply stated. She bit her lips and stared at me confused. I couldn't tell her I was a prince. Would she even believe me?

"Arranged?" She simply asked. I didn't seem like the typical type to be in an arranged marriage.

"Listen, I know we don't know one another well, but something is drawing me to you. What if we got married? It would save me from a lifetime of unhappiness." I bit my lip, a habit I must have picked up from Bella. I may have exaggerated that last bit. Her eyes practically bulged out of her head. We were both intoxicated and clearly not in the most lucid state of mind.

"Eddie we don't know each other." Bella sighed, logic was floating back into her mind. I grabbed her and kissed her like I had never kissed anyone before.

"Woah!" she exclaimed, looking at me and the small white chapel in front of us. The emotions and the alcohol had gotten to us both.

"My full name is Edward. What's the worst thing that could happen? We could always annul our marriage." I grinned at her wobbling as I steadied myself.

"What if Selene and John were right? What if we were meant for each other, but never had a chance to discover it? Isn't it worth the risk? I never have felt a connection like this before." I practically begged her as my eyes lingered toward the white chapel.

Bella was silent as she looked between the two of us. It was a risk that could be disastrous or could result in the greatest adventure each of us has ever experienced. I knew I should have disclosed who I was but I couldn't add another layer. Selfishly I knew she would say no if I told her my true identity.

"Eddie we are drunk. We both will regret this." She quietly glanced back at the chapel again. Her eyes lingered between me and the chapel as her thoughts seemed to drift.

I pulled her to me and kissed her passionately again quietly begging her to marry a complete stranger. We both were not in the most favorable frame of mind, but the wedding we had witnessed was at the forefront of our minds. It was beyond romantic.

She quickly shook her head and kissed me back hard. "This is the craziest thing I think I've ever done. I've also never felt a connection this strong before." She laughed as we headed toward the chapel. Nerves building for the both of us. I quickly messaged Emmett as we entered the chapel. They required a witness and with my standing and state I knew I needed him here.

I paid for their top package, the "can't help falling in love" package with the Elvis impersonator. A white limo drove us off to the downtown courthouse, which remained open until 12am. We were minutes off from them closing. A quick sign of the papers and it was legal. Guilt washed over me. This poor girl had no clue what I had convinced her to do.

Emmett disapproved but brought the ring intended for Tanya. As Bella got ready, we quietly chatted. Not realizing it was caught on video. Part of our "luxury" package.

"Are you mad?" Emmett quietly asked. Pacing back and forth. I only grinned and smiled back at him. Yes, I clearly was.

"Emmett, listen I don't know why but something is pulling me to her. I just have a feeling, maybe Alice is rubbing off on me. What if she turned out to be the love of my life?" My eyes locked onto Bella as she gussied herself up.

Emmett silently looked between the two of us, as we discussed the matter.

"I could always annul the marriage. Listen I have never been so drawn to someone. Maybe this will change everything for the better. I know I'm not in the right mental state but we all need a change in the Castle. Don't you want something new and fresh in our lives?" I challenged him. I knew he too struggled with the routine lives we all lived.

He sighed as he simply nodded his head. Unaware I had not told Bella of my true identity. It wouldn't be so simple to annul our marriage either. A detail we both did not realize. It was selfish, but I couldn't let her go. Not yet at least.

Bella came over. Nerves had overtaken her. "I can't do this." She quietly paced back and forth.

"Edward, we don't know each other. I've had a very hard year. I can't deal with more drama." She quietly mused. She bit her lip again as Emmett introduced himself.

My eyes silently pleaded with Emmett's as he shook his head at me. He was very convincing. He knew what I was asking him.

"Bella, I know we don't know one another but I have never seen my brother so happy. Isn't life worth taking risks?" He began. They talked silently for a few more moments and Bella was convinced. We both downed a shot of tequila which was supplied by Emmett. The ceremony began.

Present day Bella POV

Alice came over as my nerves had built up. Memories of that night washed over me as new memories floated in. I remembered the little white chapel. I also thought I remembered Emmett being there, but I couldn't recall how we had gotten there.

"Bella just keep an open mind before you watch this okay?" She held my hand as we pressed play. Bracing ourselves for the true origin of Edward and I.
