The Southern Raider's note
Okay, so this is my favorite episode in the whole series so I wanted to have a scene where Katara and Zuko talked about their mothers. I just felt like they could easily bond over that fact. Kya did remind me an awful lot of Ursa in many ways. They were both probably around the same age when they left. They both have two kids, one son and a daughter. They are both very brave.
I hope I got the scene perfectly. Every time I see that episode, I always think of that, since there was a large amount of time where we don't see them after Yon Rha. I figured, they could've been talking about their mother's before or on the ride home. They both loved their mothers a lot and pretty much feel the same way about them. I wanted Zuko to help Katara understand that her mother would be proud.
