"Please be there, please be there," the son of Apollo begged as he sharply turned around another corner. His legs were burning, and he could feel the exhaustion taking over.

"Please- "

Thank gods! He could have kissed the son of Zeus when he finally found him.

"Jason!"

"Huh? Austin?"

"Hurry!" The kid gasped for air. "Nico," he coughed. "Help!"

"Where?" Jason didn't require any more information besides that. He got the severity from the terrified grimace on the other's face.

"By the forge."

Jason nodded. Before Austin could protest a pair of strong arms wrapped around him. He yelped in surprise as Jason took his questions to go. Damn flying was scary. Austin tried to fill the demigod in as good as possible. He needed at least to understand the general gist of the situation.

"Crap," Jason summarized eloquently. His eyes scanned over the scene beneath them. Hundreds of skeletons swarmed the area. Campers had banded together, forming small troupes lead by Clarisse, however, they were clearly outnumbered. For each Undead defeated two new crawled out of the scarred ground and roamed the earth. They stood no chance. Easily they were washed away by a white ocean of bones and he felt the urge to flip a coin.

A familiar head flashed up in the crowd and Jason landed nearby. Both he and Austin were immediately attacked.

"What the heck did you do?" Jason yelled over the chaos, struggling to be heard.

"Why does everyone always assume it's me?" Percy pouted while hindering another skeleton to tear him to pieces.

"Well - "

"Priorities!" Percy intervened urgently. Jason frowned. The son of Poseidon didn't look so good - sloppy movements, a thick layer of sweat. He seemed utterly drained.

"We have to stop Nico," Percy panted as the ex-praetor started to get sucked into the battle as well.

It didn't take a genius to understand why he was here. There was only one way to reach the son of Hades. They didn't need another powerhouse fighter, what they needed was a helicopter.

"He's hallucinating about - "

"On it!" He wasn't gonna waste any more time.

"Jason, wait!" Percy called after him. No use. Like Clark Kent, his bro took off to rescue his Lois.

"… he might be dangerous."
