A young man in a huge windsock lands behind the wall of Ba Sing Se, the Earth Kingdom Capital. "Well. This is quite the pickle." John begins walking around, adventuring deeper into Ba Sing Se, knowingly gathering more and more stares here and there. Of course he knew he looked weird, especially to these people who wore a lot more clothing than he's ever done in his life. "Yep. I figured it out." He says, smiling as multiple people turn to look at him.

"I'm lost." He tells them, as a girl walks over to him. "Are you looking for someone, sir?" She asked, and everyone quickly returned to their much-too-important lives. "Yeah, my sister. Have you seen her?" He figured he'd find Jade first, she'd probably know where Davesprite is… John smiled at her, he seemed like he might be a year or two younger than her, give-or-take. "She's got a hood like mine, but black, with two wind-sock dealies. Like how I've got this really long one." He shows her his windsock, making her wonder how it hasn't already gotten caught on something. Or everything, at that size-

"Man…" The sheer GIRTH of this sock- "Ah- Your name? And what ARE you wearing?" She asked him, and he snickered in response. "I'm John Egbert, resident Heir of Breath, and equal opportunity prankster!" He gives her a thumbs up, and she giggles in response. "Well that's quite the title. Come on, I'll show you my favorite tea shop." She tells him and he agrees, the two leaving to go find that tea shop.

"So yeah, it turns out LEE is actually Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation, and now he's the Fire Lord, with a GIRLFRIEND…" Her head hits the table with a thud and a plink for the dishes, John can't help but chuckle nervously. "I'm Jin. It's nice to meet you, John." She finally tells him. "Yeah, I've really been enjoying our talk. Sorry about your ex." John tries to console her, for what little it may now mean.

She sighs and blows it off. "Please. It was just the one date. It just kinda sucks that I knew so little about him. I really thought he was just another refugee like me." She covers her face again, embarassed by how badly she was fooled that day. "Yeah, I think I get it. I lost my dad a while back, I tried to get revenge, but I was no match for Jack." John in turn explains, surprising her. "Who is that?" She asks, a little taken by the story. "Honestly, I was never really sure. But from what I was told, he came about from my friends and I and our prototyping. It's a whole thing, honestly. Anyways, after a while, Jack kind of just started teleporting around and killing everyone. It was screwed pretty bad, and some other kids had to pay for our mistakes…" John lowered his head… "But now, we're in the process of fixing everything. So here we are. It's not perfect, but at least we have hope." He gives her a melancholic smile, and she begins to realize just how much he'd been through…

Jade looks over at Toph, who's been on the other side of the flying bison- I mean saddle. Flying Saddle. Toph seemingly stares off into space, so disorientated from the rushing wind. The air particles when flying this fast hit her like bullets to her seismic senses. "It's like you're… blind…"

Toph laughed at that. "What gave you that idea?" Jade was mostly uncertain, but her intuition told her otherwise. "Oh- Well my senses told me otherwise. Besides, you outright said I disappeared earlier. I was confused at first… But then I realized you were just able to sense everyone somehow." Jade explained, surprising Toph with that first observation.

Aang however spoke up first- "You have special senses too?" Jade shook her head. "Not particularly special, but I have an extremely powerful sense of smell. I can even smell the most recent birds to have flown through here." She suddenly disappears then returns with a bird in her hand. "That's an Albatross-Snake!" Zuko pointed out. They were known to fly between fire nation islands. Yes I made this up, deal with it.

"So that's what this thing is. 'Thought I picked up some kind of Chimera. So anyways- Toph. ARE you blind? I'm still unsure." Toph simply nods, before pulling her legs up. "Oh- Shit. Sorry. I hope that wasn't heartless…" She rubs the back of her head, but Toph laughs it off anyways. "Nah, I'm fine. Besides, it's nice knowing about your sense of smell, we kind of have something in common." She tells her, and Jade points at Toph in return- "I knew it! You have a super sniffer too!"

Toph shakes her head, snickering as she stands up. "With earth bending, I can sense vibrations in the ground… But something is off… My senses are kind of overwhelmed and I can't focus." Then it all came together, no wonder Toph was so distracted- "Oh- I don't actually think I can fix that-" Jade snaps her fingers and Toph appears in front of her, sitting in her lap as she tries to protect Toph from the wind.

"Sorry I can't do more, John's the one who's good with the wind." She tells her friend, but Toph stands up. "Nah, it's okay. Besides, the shockwaves are still coming from everywhere anyways." Toph begins walking back to where she thinks she was, unsure where she's going, but she's pretty certain the others will tell her- The wind suddenly stops, and is instead replaced with a thud against the ground- "Let's just put an end to that…" Jade decided.

Toph spread out her body, and flopped onto the ground- "I missed you ground." She mumbled through the sand, as Jade looked around. "So do you have any items I can sniff? I could probably locate them from here, if they're on this island." Jade told Aang as Zuko and Iroh discussed Fire-Nation politics between each other.

Something about trade disputes with the earth kingdoms here, while Aang searched a sack stuck to the saddle… "Right, I think it should be here on the saddle somewhere-" Another thing about loyalists there, as Aang pulls Katara's old bedroll from the old sack. "Oh, nice, yeah this should be full of her scent-" Something else about Iroh's national-tea holiday, as Jade takes an unnecessarily DEEP whiff of the inside of the bedroll. "Alright, I know where they are." And Zuko's apprehension towards developing a new holiday, as Jade teleports everyone over.

So on with Iroh's insistence on the now named "Special-Tea-Day." As Sokka had just now named it, since he'd just come up with that weird name for a holiday he'd only just had the idea of, thanks to Iroh talking about it- Wait, no, that's wrong- "Sokka, you dummy, Iroh isn't here…" He chuckled to himself. Iroh and Sokka had hit it off really well in the past year, Sokka had an appreciation for Iroh's sage advice, while Iroh enjoyed sharing it with Sokka's youthful wonder.

"Hi, I'm Jade! You two are Katara and Sokka, right?" She asks, making Katar spin on her heel, as Sokka still works through his thought process- "Oh, yeah, hello Jade- How's it been?" He's far too focused on the wrong things right now…

"Uh- Yeah- Lost in the woods, I'm over here trippin'. Ain't got no goods, I'm in need of ah' ~sippin'." His pursed lips nudge ever so slightly to pronounce that S. "Sugar and spice, where's that damn village, that shit was sublime. Roll the dice, or I'll pillage, now lose yourself to this rhyme." He stops himself…

Davesprite groans at himself for a minute. "That one was bad even for me." He says, as he flaps his wings and looks around again, too deep in the forest, and definitely too far away from the ship to ever find IT again. "Hot damn. I really AM lost in the fucking woods. Just you wait, Slenderman'll come creepin' out for a rap battle any moment now, and win, 'cause fuck. I mena, I know that fucker is as silent as those asshole gods, but fuck my rapping game has tanked hard lately." He says as he sharpens his sword with a random rock he found on the ground.

The slide of the rock irritates the sword- "Damn that is such a weird feeling. How the fuck does this even work? Is this shit made of skin or something? Do I have a weird skin-sword now?" A finger suddenly lands on his shoulder, and his body shudders and shivers into action-

He lands on the branch of a tree after an instant flash-step, allowing him to spot the creature that had touched him- It was some kind of transparent figure, unlike anything Davesprite had seen before.. "Hey! S~orry about the s~care! I thought you were los~t!" The creature called out to Davesprite, who floats back down. "Nah man, I should apologize! You just kinda' set off a nerve. Shit has been hammered into my head since I was a baby." The creature was ethereal, from its appearance, you could tell it was obviously some type of spirit. Provided you watched the TV Show. Avatar the Last Airbender, that TV Show, I mean. There's Korra too, but it's got a lot of problems, I guess it had too much to live up to, and I'm honestly not really interested in writing for that one, so yeah.

Anyways back to the story. "Huh. Well I notis~ced you were los~t. I heard you s~inging about it, after all." The spirit was some kind of anaconda-man, a tail in place of legs, and the head of a snake, the snake's body in place of his neck. "So you heard all that, huh? Yeah, not my best work, sorry again." He for once openly chuckled nervously about it. "No- I actsh~ually liked it! I've never heard anything quite like it. I was~ hoping I could petitsh~ion you to do more?" Davesprite smiled.

"Ha. Shit, you need no more than ASK, brotha'. A'ight. Check it." He nudges his glasses and grabs the sword in his torso with a reverse grip, unnerving the Spirit before he begins rapping into the hilt. "Hmph, yeah! Spittin' some flames for my man- uh-" Davesprite looks at him- "Your name?" He asks, and the Spirit gets the hint finally- "O-Oh! I'm Heb, the s~nake spirit." Davesprite stares at him for a moment. "Oh, I heard about you guys earlier." He decides to say, instead of rapping about his new friend.

"Are you not a spirit?" Heb asks, as he reaches over and grabs Davesprite's hand. "Depends on your definition, and not in any way you could understand to begin with. Suffice to say I'm a bit of an outlier. I exist in an equilibrium, I should be dead. But I'm not, thanks to what I am." Was Davesprite's answer, striking a nerve. "Well… How are you s~o s~ure I couldn't?" He asked, and Davesprite folded his arms.

"Nah, man. It's not like THAT. You seem fully conscious, as far as I can tell. It's just that I'm from a slightly more advanced earth. Ever heard of Quantum-Physics?" In response, Heb's head tilted so far it knotted itself into a pretzel… "What?" Davesprite nodded. "Yeah. I thought as much. See?"

"So… you're really from a different world?..." Jin asked John… She was astonished, but found herself giggling. "You had me for a moment there, John-" He began to float in the air, and she almost fell back into the fountain, until John grabbed her hand, and saved her- "I-I… So it's all true?" He helped her back onto her feet, and away from the fountain they had been sitting at…

"Yeah. Pretty swanky, huh?" She finally looked at his hand, and let it go. "Swanky? I've never heard that one before-" She chuckled. Her emotions welled up inside her, so much to think about, so little time to describe. "What's it even mean?" She made John chuckle, and he returned to the ground. "It just means, uh, fancy. You know, neat. Or cool." He went on, and she laughed as he continued to try and come up with an explanation for his silly vocabulary…

Later John would find himself showing off some of his cool tricks to the girl, transfixed on his ability to fly freely through the sky… "I wish I could fly." He stopped and she'd realized what she said- "I-I-" She waved her hands at him- "Not that I want to! It looks kind of scary up there." John landed in front of her anyways, and took her hand again. "Hey, don't worry. I'll be right there with you, for every second of it." She giggled again at him, knowing that even though he's right, it's not like he could fly around with her without using his power. He'd have to be fully aware of what he's doing.

She sighs. "Okay, fine. But maybe not here." She told him, and he looked around at the people staring at him, and realized that Jin kind of had a social-life to keep up with, something the author of this story didn't have, and would continue to not talk about. "Right, over here. I suppose me making a fool of myself in public doesn't matter as much-" She felt bad, realizing that she might have insulted him, as she followed him to the walls- "I didn't mean it like that-" She began, but he stopped her and kept going. "No- That one's my fault-" He chuckled. "I meant- I'm not from here. So I could like, dance naked in the street, leave, and never even have to care about it." He told her, and she nervously giggled at the thought.

Once they arrived at the great stone gate, the very wall that had protected Ba-Sing-Se. But also kinda failed a while back? The wall's old, give it a break. John took Jin's hand, and they flew over it as fast as John's windy-thing could take them, over the wall, past the guards, look out world, 'cause here it comes!

Jin was flying! Not that she was ready, mind you, but it was an incredible experience to be had. Jin looked at John, that goofy smile on his face as he watched her enjoy every last minute of this…

"Dude, I don't fucking know. Quantum physics is like- You know what?! Go ask Jade or something! She does shit with space? Is that like quantum physics? Who the fuck cares." They had been on this topic for a while.

"Well, okay…" Heb finally agreed to stop asking. "Who is~ this~ friend of yours~?" He asked. "Oh, Jade. Yeah, she's pretty dope. I could go on all day about her- But didn't I promise you some hellacious rapping?" He asked, and Heb instantly remembered his original request! "Ah, of cours~e! Pleas~e, go ahead." He told Dave, and so began the next set of rhymes I will now force you to endure.

"Alright, gimme a beat, Heb!" He points at Heb with finger guns, and Heb tries to snake-hiss out the best beat he could. "Check it- Rappin' in the woods, hangin' with the spirits without a lanturn, I'm tryna come up with some actual lyrics-" Heb chuckled at that one- "We're flappin our wings, but I'm not just some ghost, I'm a sprite, a guide, a phantom, the nevermore knight time. Watch it dudes, for this time it's a crime to rhyme slime with time." Like the amount of spirits attracted by his lyrics was honestly incredible.

Sokka spun on his heel and looked at the pale-dog-girl- "Wh-Wh-What?!" Jade was surprised, she actually found him kind of cute- "Oh, you're-" She floated backwards and landed on her feet, looking up at him as he became a little nervous. "Sis?" He looked at Katara, who just kind of shrugged, and approached her. "Are you okay?" She asked, as Jade looked at all the other people in the room, then remembered that the rest of Team-Avatar is probably still awaiting teleportation…

She snaps her fingers and they appear once more, surprising the two- "Aang?!" Katara asked as she ran up to him, while he reorientated his perspective, until his focus returned and she hugged him- "Katara! I missed you so much!" He told her, making her giggle- "Aang, it's only been a week." She held him close anyways, as Sokka walked away with Zuko and Iroh, while Jade checked on Toph, despite not needing to be checked on in any way.

"Zuko, Iroh? What'cha doing here?" Sokka asked, and they looked at each other, then back at Sokka, both still kind of disorientated by the whole situation. "It's her, she appeared out of the sky, Sokka." Zuko explained, pointing at Jade, who was playing with Toph. "Who is she?" She levitates Toph in the air, slowly spinning the little girl around as they laugh together. "I'm not entirely sure… She's definitely human, but merely that much more." The three continued to stare, until one of the diplomats would speak up.

"My Fire-Lord-" One of the diplomats kneeled before Zuko, only to be motioned to rise just as quickly. "We are in need of Katara and Sokka's wisdom, you will have to postpone this meeting." He explains before Sokka cuts back in- "Oh- Ah, okay- One moment, Zuko." He walks over to the front of the announcement stage they had set up. "Sorry, everyone! Katara and I have some very important matters to get into, but for your patience, please meet: The Avatar!" He shoves Aang to the front, who smiles and waves at everyone. "Hi!" He's been getting better at public-speaking, being the avatar and all.

Jade catches Toph out of the air and places her back on the ground, while Aang works his magic to calm the diplomats. "So who's this?" Katara asks, looking slightly down at Jade. "I'm Jade Harley, resident Witch of Space, and human-dog-hybrid." She shows off her ears, remembering back to the time she was interested in anthropomorphic animals as a concept. "Wait, you're a hybrid?" Toph asks, and Jade reveals her dog-ears. "Yeah! My dog-dad, I… I fused with him." Toph took an involuntary step back, a little uncomfortable with the idea of anthropomorphic-animals. Or so she was at first, later on she would grow to enjoy the concept more, as she got more comfortable with herself as a person.

"Yeah, it's pretty weird. Sorry, Toph. Suffice to say, I fused with my dog at some point. He was the most powerful creature on the planet, and while yeah, I can bench-press a planet now, but I can never just hang out with him ever again." Katara was so lost she questioned if she had somehow accidentally fallen into the spirit-realm. Cool-Girl Toph on the other hand, kinda felt for her, having lived with those Badger-Moles for a short time in her life, learning her bending techniques from them… It was like they were made for each other.

"Well, I'm Katara, and that's my doofus-brother Sokka over there." She points at Sokka, of whom just so happens to be walking over now, since he finished with his announcement-thing, you know, the one I don't want to write, 'cause I find it boring. So anyways he walked over- "You too, huh?" Jade simply chuckled at the memories of some of John's greatest failings. "Oh man, like you wouldn't believe. Sokka throws this BOOMERANG around." The three girls continued to giggle between each other- "I should show you John, one time he spaced out so hard, he accidentally left one of the most important items in our game with another doofus." The giggles continued- "One time, Sokka drank this poisonous cactus juice, he couldn't see straight for like, half an hour." After a while, they were pretty much just fighting to see who had the dumbest brother…

Of course, the diplomats had already left at this point, chased out by Sokka not wanting to look as stupid as his sister was making him out to be.

Jin flew through the sky, it was by no short measure, the most incredible thing she'd ever experienced. Rivaled only by a couple birthdays, and that night she nearly bagged the Fire-Lord-to-be. She was lowkey kind of beating herself up over that.

"John! This is amazing! Do you really do this every day?!" She asked John, who was busy keeping her steady in the air, while keeping global-currents from knocking her around. "Yeah! It's pretty neat!" He floats over and stops in front of her. "I'm sorry you can't really fly on your own. You'd have to go all god-tier and stuff, and I don't know if that's for everyone." He rubbed the back of his head as he spoke, but Jin just giggled anyways.

She sighed and smiled at him. "Please, John. Don't worry about it, dude. I'm having more fun than I've ever had. I never imagined I'd have this kind of chance, thank you." More and more John felt this whole connection build. "Well, alright. Come on, let's go explore. I want to see this whole world. It looks really cool." Jin could agree with that, she was so down to hang out with this strange boy.

"Sure, let's go see that mountain, we could probably get a better look at the land from that mountain." With all the wind-manipulation John had to do just to keep her breathing correctly, it made everything kind of blurry for her. And so they took off, John figured if she couldn't control how she flew, he'd at least let her take the reins on this adventure.

John landed on the ground, and lightly placed her on her feet, not wanting to screw anything up. Jin looked around for a moment, trying to find some kind of landmark that might interest John. A new experience they could share between each other, outside of Ba-Sing-Se.

But before she could find anything… "What's this?" John asked, making her turn around and spot what he was looking at. It was a little spirit, staring at him. She gasped in awe of the little creature before him. It was like some kind of dragonfly, it seemed mesmerized by his presence.

"That's a spirit, John! It must be all that cosmic-stuff you were talking about!" She tells him, as he sits down and shows it his open palm. It crawls onto his hand, not entirely sure if he would agree with Jin on all that cosmic-stuff. He lifted his arm and showed it to her. But he figured he'd ask one of his more knowledgeable friends. His intuition pointed him towards heart players, or maybe hope. They always seemed all spirity and stuff.

Jin was reduced to basically fawning over it, seeing the creature as a good sign. "Maybe you've got a super strong spirit, like the Avatar. I bet you could even travel to the spirit world." The little bug flew away, and John felt the atmosphere gently guide it home… "Yeah, maybe." He places his hands on his hips and looks at Jin once more.

"So… Where are we off to?"

Team Avatar arrived with Jade at the beach they were previously at. She decided to just teleport them all this time. Flying around was fun, and this world was super intriguing and full of wonder, but sometimes the easy way is just so satisfying.

"Alright, so you mind filling us all in?" Sokka asks, and Jade looks at him, before teleporting a kilometer away- "What-" Zuko had good looks, but there was just something ELSE about Sokka. She teleports back, but only after reclaiming her composure. "Sorry about that, 'just had to think up my answers." She brushes her hair to the side, feigning disinterest.

She floated to the side and crossed her legs, as the group watched her go. "So you really want to know what's going on with my brother and I? The pressure I exert just from existing here, the power I wield, and the pain I suffered…" She asks, men in the presence of a god…

"I am Jade Harley, the Witch of Space." She guides six planets from behind her back, orbiting in a ring around her… "Are those really…" Aang began and she nodded. "Yes. This one is LOWAS, LOLAR, LOHAC, LOFAF, Derse, Skaia, and the remains of Prospit." She began to explain, beginning with the planets, the very stage their story took place on, it was part of what made her a Space Player.

She would then proceed to explain in detail her part in the story of Homestuck, leaving Team Avatar completely and other awestruck with her true power, her purpose, her history. Everything she'd been through, and everything she had left to do… On the other hand, it took her HOURS to explain what the hell a universe is to these people. She had to Play with measurements by screwing with the planets and their sizes.

She'd shown off her weapons, technology, even that super cool armor she only used like, the one time, since it was basically rendered useless ever since she got to Dog-Tier.

Zuko was the first to speak up after the story. "Your whole world…" He thought he had it rough… Although her story made it SOUND really tough, and it was, but his trials, his anger, and finally his redemption, it was something incredible to behold. "I know. Besides, once we win, we'll have all the time in our universe to make a new one." She tells him.

"You really DO sound omnipotent." Toph told her, as she reached up to Jade so she could pick her up. "Yeah. It's crazy, really. I could punch your whole universe if I wanted." You know it's true. Toph giggled at her lack of that concept, while Jade floated around with her. "Yeah, it IS pretty funny."

"All of that pressure, to save your own world… It is too much for just four children…" Iroh shook his head, their universe worked in shameful ways. "I know, right? I'd never do something so irresponsible." She said, while handing Toph one of her extremely-lethal guns. To play with. Because she was raised by an animal. And then her dog.

She fired a shot into the air, while Aang walked up to try and take the weapon from her- "How do you deal with it all? Everything on your shoulders… I couldn't imagine…" Aang, the very Avatar, found himself asking someone how they were dealing with the weight of their stress. "It's not so hard. Besides, when we win, we'll have plenty of time to relax." For a while it was just questions and answers relating to the personality and purpose of each character in team avatar.

It was cool, but it's time to move on now.

"We should probably go find my brother-" She realized, as she looked to the side. "That's John. Right?" Sokka asked, since he and Katara were just kind of given the exposition of a lifetime, and no time to actually get to know her outside of it. "Yeah, and I should probably find Davesprite too, god knows what HE'S been up to. Oh and the ship! I suppose they might need a mechanic from derse or prospit to fix it up…" She looks at the sky and it'd probably already be getting late on their side of the world.

Night fell over the land.

"Looks like I'll have to postpone the shit outta' my sick-ass tan." Davesprite began, as Heb looked at the sky. "I thought thos~e rhymes~ were- um- FIRE?" Davesprite nodded with confirmation. "Yes~ They were very fire! Could I be taught how to s~pit thes~e kinds~ of flames~?" Heb asked. He was mostly just happy to hang out with Davesprite, he never expected to meet someone so incredibly cool.

Davesprite smiled again. "Totally, dude. Come on, we've got cool ass training to do. Let's get started."

After that, Davesprite would share with Heb everything his bro shared with him. Sans the combat-training. And the puppets. And just about everything that traumatized him. So he really didn't share that much in all honesty.

John arrives at Jin's house, and sets the girl down in front of it. "Here, Jin." She leans against one of the beams holding up the balcony. "So this is your place?" he asks, landing on the ground next to her. "Yeah. It's just me. Zuko felt bad for leading me on, and gave me this whole place. Now I've got all this space I don't know what to do with. I could give you the tour, if you have time." John contemplated it for a while, it's not like what he was doing was THAT important. No matter what, it was probably going to take Jade a while before she would willingly try another portal.

He gave her a thumbs up and a bright goofy smile. "Sure! Let's get started."

And so Jin would proceed to give him that aforementioned tour of the building, until the two kids got tired, and John would proceed to fall asleep on the couch, after being offered one of the multiple guest-rooms for the night.

Jade arrives at the ship with the rest of Team-Avatar. "So this thing could fly?" Sokka asked her, making her flinch before composing herself again. She was quickly getting better at it. "Yeah. One moment-" She disappeared, running off to go find some of those Prospitian-Mechanics she was talking about.

A pie flies at Iroh's head- "Hoo Hoo Hoo!" She caught his attention, and caught the pie-tin in time, surprising Nannasprite with her sudden failure. "Well who do we have here?" She asks, getting a better look at this big ol' charmer. He smiles and holds his arm out to her. "Well hello there. I'm Iroh." He tells her, as the rest of Team-Avatar leaves them behind to explore the ship. And also not get in the middle of his flirting, because he's old, and they're disrespectful children.

But before he would get that chance, Jade returned- "Fix my ship, and I'll let you stay on this planet. If you want." She figured they would probably rule this medieval world with their technology, so this would be a damn-good bargaining chip. "They nodded between each other, and gave her a thumbs up. Mostly just happy to be helpful today."

Jade smiled and landed on the ground, she even put on a neat set of work gear, I'm talking overalls, trucker-hat, big wrench in one hand, big ol' gloves to hold that wrench, 'cause the wrench is so big, and a toolbox in the other, so you know that she's a mechanic. Everything else does that too, but they're not as effective. "Alright, good." She said. "Let's get started."

End of Chapter: 3

Thank you for reading.
