A day had passed since the Ninja had defeated the Oni, and making sure those affected by the cloud had been checked up. Upon learning a new Starfarer movie was being premiered, Lloyd and Jay couldn't resist, and basically dragged Gewuji and Nya along, as well as Mantis, who never seen a movie before, let alone a cinema. "This is Gayle Gossip, live outside Ninjago City Bot Theatre, where the Starfarer reboot is showing." Gayle said while Vinny was filming her, and celebrities were entering the cinema, including Lloyd, Jay, Gewuji, Nya and Mantis.

Inside, Jay and Mantis stop by a corner so that they can look at one of the posters while Lloyd, Gewuji and Nya went to get some snacks and drinks. "So, this Fritz Donnegan guy is a samurai from space?" Mantis asked.

"Yeah." Jay replied, a little excited. "Lloyd introduced me to it, and I was so intrigued by it."

"I just don't get why you brought me along."

"Well, I thought it would be time for you to see the very first movie in your life. Now, there's a few giant ground rules as you watch the film. No talking." He points to a nearby poster of Geoff with a finger at his mouth, followed by a poster Cole holding his phone as it rung, and a poster of Gewuji with her feet on the chair in front of her. "Phones should be off, and you mustn't put your feet on the chair in front of you."

"Don't worry. I'm often forced to obey rules. So, this'll be nothing."

"Hey, we got the snacks!" Lloyd said as he, Gewuji and Nya came back to them with popcorn, lollies and sodas.

"Here you go." Gewuji said, handing out a bucket of popcorn to Mantis.

"So, what is this white and yellow soft stuff?" He asked, taking it.

"Popcorn." Nya replied. "Trust me, you'll like it."

Mantis grabs one and puts it in his mouth before becoming surprised by the taste. "Wow, nice taste."

"The movie is about to begin." A nearby usher called out. "Please take your seats."

"Here we go." Jay said as they start to head in.

After a couple of hours, the movie had finished and everyone started to exit it, completely nonplussed. "That was awful." Mantis said.

"Agreed." Lloyd replied. "I thought it'd be cool since Trevor Yurison had the role, but it was crap."

"I wish Geoff had gotten the part, had it not been for that stupid producer." Gewuji said, agreeing with him.

"Even if he got it, it would still had been bad." Jay replied.

"Guess it saved his reputation." Nya said.

"Well, good thing we're the critics." Lloyd replied. "And you know what I'm gonna rate it." He moves his thumbs downward, and the others nod in agreement.

"Here she comes now." Mantis said, pointing out to Gayle and Vinny.

"Green Ninja, how would you and your friends rate the film?" Gayle asked, and they simply move their thumbs downward before they leave. "What exactly happen to give it a bad review?" They ignore her as they leave the cinema. "Well, there you have it, the new Starfarer film is given a bunch of thumbs down by four of the Ninja. This is Gayle Gossip, signing off."
