Back at Quill HQ, Moniqa walked over to Gunvolt and Zeno who were talking.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything but there's another mission that needs to be dealt with immediately." Moniqa notified.
"What is it?" Gunvolt questioned.
"The Sumeragi is broadcasting Lumen's songs and their propaganda from a media tower of theirs. The transmission equipment needs to be destroyed." Moniqa elucidated.
"I'll do it." Gunvolt confirmed.
"Asimov will meet you there." Moniqa added.
Back at Firmament, Nova overheard the conversation and notified Allen of the situation.
"I regret to inform you Allen that Gunvolt is planning to destroy all of the transmission equipment at the Utu media tower. I need you and Rick to go there and protect it." Nova sighed.
"Rick and I will be there right away." Allen answered.
"Excellent, please inform me when the mission succeeds." Nova commented.
"Of course." Allen finished before removing his finger from his com and turning to Rick.
"Something up?" Rick wondered.
"Gunvolt plans to destroy all of the transmission equipment for the Utu media tower so we have to go protect it." Allen replied.
"Well, let's go." Rick remarked.
Allen nodded before getting into the elevator with Rick and pressing the button for the first floor.
"So, what do you think the media tower looks like?" Allen pondered aloud.
"I think it just looks like a cell tower." Rick responded.
"Woah, so you've been there before?" Allen guessed.
"No, but I did see plans for it once." Rick explained.
"Do you know where it is?" Allen asked.
"No idea, but our chauffeur knows." Rick answered.
"Sweet! So that means we get to have a joy ride in one of the company car's for a change." Allen cheered, pumping his left fist in the air as him and Rick walked to the car waiting for them outside.
To Allen's surprise, it was a normal car with vanta-black paint and black tinted windows.
"What!? Oh, come on! I thought we were gonna get to take the company limo!" Allen fumed.
"Not unless one of us gets a higher ranking." Rick informed.
So, Rick and Allen got into the car and began talking during the ride.
"I wonder how high of a ranking I have to get to ride in the limo." Allen muttered.
"Probably Nova's ranking, if not that of the top brass executives cause they're the highest up." Rick notified.
"Ugh, I'll die before then." Allen groaned.
"Eh, maybe, maybe not. It all depends, someone in the top brass could be assassinated." Rick commented.
Just then, the car came to a halt. Rick and Allen got out before waving to the chauffeur who drove off. Rick and Allen looked up in sheer awe of the towering building in front of them.
"How do they expect us to get to where the equipment is?" Allen worried.
"Ay, no worries man, we'll take the elevator." Rick elucidated.
After taking the elevator, Rick and Allen saw that Gunvolt had already defeated Jota.
"What gives dude!? First, you blow up the main server, and then you come here and terrorize the tower!" Allen complained.
"If you can't beat the clock, you get the glock. Rules are rules man, looks like it's the end of the line for ya." Rick remarked before aiming his black 6 barrel hand pistol at Gunvolt.
However, in a turn of events, Gunvolt pulled his DT Leader gun out of its holster and aimed it at Allen.
"Woah woah woah, there's no need to shoot an unarmed civilian man! Just leave, and no one gets hurt." Rick assured.
But the truth was that Allen had to take a firearms test before he could get a gun so all he had was a pocketknife which he had in his right hand behind his back after taking it out of his back right pocket.
Gunvolt noticed this and planned to use the benefit of a doubt to his advantage by aiming his gun at Rick.
"Fair enough, but why don't you want me to blow up the equipment?" Gunvolt interrogated.
"Because the Sumeragi is a company that only does good." Rick answered.
Gunvolt shook his head.
"Look, I know that since you guys work for the Sumeragi you think the work they do is good, but the truth is they aren't. They experiment on innocent people and create clones of those people sometimes just to torture them with Septima's. I know because I was experimented on by them myself." Gunvolt elucidated.
Rick scoffed.
"Please, you expect us to believe that? As if! I wasn't born yesterday you know!" Rick mocked.
"Then you leave me no choice." Gunvolt supposed before firing his gun at Allen who collapsed.
