Rick laughed before looking at Gunvolt.
"You think that just because you injured my best friend doesn't mean you'll live to see the light of day again." Rick scoffed before hitting the right side of Gunvolt's neck with the barrel of his gun which caused Gunvolt to pass out.
Just then, Lumen appeared and Gunvolt stood up as Lumen sang her anthem.
"Wha, this isn't right! Lumen's on the Sumeragi's side!" Rick fumed.
"Hey Geeves, what's takin ya?" Zeno asked.
Gunvolt put his left index finger on his com which was in his left ear to answer Zeno.
"I'm at the top of the tower but there's two Sumeragi employees guarding it that aren't like the regular ones and they seem set on making sure I don't get rid of the equipment." Gunvolt answered.
"Got it, the boss should be there soon just hang on." Zeno replied.
Gunvolt then took his finger off the com as Rick shot Gunvolt. Or at least, that's what he tried to do.
What!? That's crazy! The bullet stuck you didn't it!?" Rick stammered.
Gunvolt shook his head.
"I've got a chain on that allows me to dodge attacks." Gunvolt explained before running behind Rick and grabbing Allen's body, dangling it over the side of the building.
"You wouldn't." Rick seethed.
Gunvolt slowly released his grip. But before he completely let go of Allen's unconscious body, Asimov reached the top of the tower and Gunvolt dropped Allen back on top of the building.
"This isn't over!" Rick scowled as he dragged Allen to the elevator.
Meanwhile, in an unknown location, someone was standing on the top of a building. It was a girl with brown hair, blue eyes wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and blue combat boots was staring at the UTU Media Tower.
"If my data is correct, Jota was recently revived so I have to eliminate their revival tech before things get too out of hand. The question is where the Sumeragi is hiding it. I'm sure those boys will prove rather useful in the search." The girl stated before dissapearing into the shadows.
When the battle ended, Gunvolt returned to his apartment where he was welcomed back by Lumen and Joule.
"Welcome back GV!" Lumen greeted.
"How was the mission?" Joule asked.
"It was strange, Asimov told me that Jota would be there but there was two guys there that he didn't tell me about. I wonder if he's hiding something from me." Gunvolt answered.
"It's possible, maybe you should do some snooping." Lumen suggested.
"No! GV could get in trouble for that!" Joule protested.
"Fine, it was just a suggestion." Lumen sighed before fading away.
