(A/N: I felt disappointed that the support home was closing down, so I decided to put this up)
In the hallway at the NGTV News Station, where vines were now surrounding it, Cole and Gewuji were struggling to get up before Gewuji groaned as she got up slowly before noticing Cole. "Cole?" She asked before seeing him squint his eyes. "Cole, wake up!" She soon pulled him up by his shoulder and starts slapping him to get him to wake up. "Come on!" Cole groaned as he was being slapped. "Come on!" She stopped slapping him when she saw his hand move, and he gasps for air.
He looks behind Gewuji to see a tentacle about to grab her, and pulls her back. They both look at it. "Where the hell are we?" He asked.
"I think this is NGTV." They look up at the broken window to see they have fallen from a long way up.
"Oh, boy, oh, boy."
Tentacles start coming in as Gewuji gets out her communicator. "Hey, guys? Did you forget something?" She gets no response as Cole got his out.
"Guys? It's me, Cole. Gewuji's with me too."
"Guys? Hello?"
They immediately look at them to find out they're busted. "Oh, crap. Now what?"
"Stay calm, don't panic." They immediately head into an office.
"We're both alone, surrounded by creepy black tendrils that are getting closer and closer. Huh?" One starts coming at them before they quickly jump onto the desk, then onto light shades, where they swing on them before jumping out of the office, sliding along the floor as they did so.
In a news booth, Cole and Gewuji look to see some black fog slowly coming up to them. "Close it, quick." Cole immediately got up, ran to the sliding glass door, and closes it, preventing the fog from getting in.
Cole soon sighed in relief as he looked at Gewuji as she got up, and showed her his busted communicator. "Let's see if we can get these things working again."
"No can do for me." Gewuji shows him hers. It was now completely crushed and disassembled. "I landed on mine."
"Well, help me look in these cabinets."
They come up to some cabinets before opening them, seeing nothing but files before Cole finds a pair of scissors, and chuckled as Gewuji turned to him. "A pair of scissors? How is that gonna help?"
"Oh, ye of little faith, this is called improvisation." They come up to a desk where Cole looks at his communicator, and the scissors. "Oh, come on! I'm not a micro-tonics guy. Gewuji?"
"Don't ask me."
Cole scoffs, and slowly fumbled the wires with them. "Where's Blake or Nya or P.I.X.A.L. or Zane or Jay when you need them?" After a bit, he looks at his communicator's red light. "Please work, please work, please work, please work..." the light briefly flickers from green to red before stopping on green.
"Okay, let's get the hell out of here. This place is starting to give me the creeps." Seeing the progress had slowly worked, they quickly take off. As they ran down the hallway, Gewuji notices something dangling by a window's edge. It was Geoff's sash. "Geoff's sash."
She heads over to the window and prepares to open it, when Cole stops her. "Gewuji, leave it. We can get it later."
"I'm not leaving it behind."
"But, what will happen if we open the window?"
"There are risks involved, but I have no choice." She prepared to hold her breath in before opening the window, and the black cloud slowly spreads in. Gewuji sticks her arm out of the window, grabbing the sash before moving it back, and closes the window, leaving some of the cloud in. "Let's get out of here." They immediately resume running down the hallway.
By the main foyer, Cole and Gewuji come up to the front door, seeing nothing but the inside of the cloud. "Where is it? Where?" They look around. "I can't see it."
"Neither can I."
They both move closer. "I can't see anything." Cole soon knelt down on the handle, dropping his communicator as a result, which beeps. "This is the end, for the both of us."
"So, we get to be frozen, just like the others?"
"Afraid so." Engine revving was soon heard.
"What's that noise?"
They both turn to the front door to see a set of lights coming toward them, and gasped. "It worked." It was Cole's driller before they immediately whooped as Cole immediately grabbed Gewuji, and spins her around.
He puts her down as Gewuji looks out the door. "Can we make it?"
Cole picks up his communicator. "We can make it."
"Yeah right." She sarcastically spoke. "As soon as we step out there it's gonna freeze us solid."
"You opened the window to get Geoff's sash."
"It was luck. Do you think it'll work?"
"We're going for it!"
Gewuji soon sighed before they both back away from the door, put their hoods on, and ran for the door. "Ninjago!" They both yelled, pushing the door open.
Outside, they immediately do Spinjitzu, only to immediately stop once they reach the bottom of the stairs, and started to cough. They look up at the driller before they slowly start to move to it. "I can do that." They slowly make their way to it, trying their best to reach it before they would be turned to stone, slowly choking from inhaling some of the inside of the cloud, but eventually reach it. As tentacles started to surround them, Cole got out his communicator and taps it, causing the driller's visor to open up. "Come on!" Cole helps Gewuji up before he gets on himself, and rolls into it before Gewuji fell into it and Cole closes the visor.
Inside, Cole and Gewuji breathe out of relief that they were out of the cloud while taking their hoods off before Cole turns the driller on. "Let's never do that again." Gewuji said as she pats his shoulder.
"Agreed." He immediately turned the wheel.
Outside, the driller turns around before moving forward at fast speed, causing Cole to whoop, until they come across some Oni. "Whoa!" Gewuji immediately hits the break, and the driller stops.
The Oni turn to the driller before Cole and Gewuji look at each other, and back at the Oni. "Okay, you asked for it!" Cole turns the drill on, and charges at them, running them off the road.
"Strike!"
Cole chuckles at her compliment before they look at each other, smiling. "Now, let's go find the others."
"They probably went back to the monastery."
"Then that's where we're going."
