Chapter 7 Before the Table

With the nine families united, they decide to have a small wedding for Eren and Historia. However, they didn't reveal the news to others, that also includes Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, and the other scouts.

"This wedding here symbols the union of the 9 royal families of the titans." Gloria says. "And this will also be the true revival of the Eldia Empire."

With the crowd also cheering, Eren and Historia smile at the crowd, Eren knows that the three years of helping the people really pay off. However, the only thing to do is to get rid of the corrupted military and the outside world.

That night after the bonding, Historia says, "I heard that tomorrow, you are going to Marley with the rest of the scouts...what are your thoughts?"

"Gloria and Aya will also bring their airship, some of the Yeagerists are going to board the ship. After hearing of the Eldian Mistreatment, I will go with Gloria and Aya around the nations, I'm trying to negotiate with them as the new King. If they want the doom of Eldians like us, then I have no choice but to use the Rumbling..."

Historia frowns and says, "I just hope they are willing to hear us out. I mean, nobody likes the Rumbling to happen... but that's the only way to give Ymir a safe and happy life without being scared of the outside world..."

"And since you're pregnant, you won't need to worry about the military doing anything to you." Eren says. "Just please be careful while I'm not with you."

"Of course." Historia says, "And you as well."

After getting to the Marley, Eren's missing causes everyone to search for him, and eventually, Mikasa finds Eren standing in front of a refugee camp.

"Eren, you do realize that you're our enemies' most wanted target, don't you? We've all been running around looking for you..."

But she stops, noticing that Eren is crying, Eren quickly wipes out his tears and they notice a boy with his family waving at them.

"The boy from the market? Did something happen?" Mikasa asks.

"Nothing yet..." Eren says, which causes Mikasa to get puzzled.

"What do you mean?" Mikasa asks.

"These people live here after losing their homes to war." Eren says, "Regular life stopped for us one day. Everything was taken from us. All of their freedom was taken away."

After watching them, Eren decides to take a breath and says, "Mikasa, why is it that you care about me?"

"Huh?" Mikasa is puzzled, and Eren continues, "Is it because I saved you when you were a kid? Or is it because I'm family? What am I to you?"

Mikasa starts to panic a little and she says, "You are... family..."

"Family..." Eren closes his eyes and says, "I would rather have you stay out of everything related to me, because of my Titan Power, I might be the worst enemy of humanity..."

"Then I'll protect you, I am not going to lose more family." Mikasa says.

"It is not that simple. Mikasa. I'll only tell you this, but promise me not to tell anyone about it." Mikasa is confused as to what Eren is saying, but she nods. Eren sighs and says, "The Armor Titan has the hardened body, while the Founding Titan can control all Eldians. But what does the Attack Titan do? The Attack Titan can actually see the future."

"See... the future?" Mikasa asks with surprise, and Eren says, "That's all I can tell you right now."

Before she can continue to ask, the man offers them something warm to drink as the rest find them. Eren says, "Perfect Timing."

They enjoy a meal together and after the two groups warm up, it turns into a party. They slept until the next day when Levi, Hange, and the others find them. They all head to hear the hearing of the Eldian Mistreatment, and they find that they are directing all the blame on Paradis Island. And it is also then that Eren decides to leave, only leaving a note to them about entrusting everything to Zeke. However, Sasha is the only one who knows what Eren is going, but she also promises to keep it a secret.

At Aya's Airship, Gloria says, "Let me guess, everyone inside is blaming all the faults for the Paradis Island, am I right?"

"Yeah, but we're not giving up yet, there are other nations that we need to seek it ourselves." Eren says. The ones on the airship are Peter, Odom, Gloria, Aya, and other soldiers that are trained by Eren. All of them are ready to go to the other nations with Gloria being the one helping them negotiate with the other nations.

After almost visiting every single nation, there is none of them wants to have peace talks with Paradis Island. All of them want them dead and they also prepare a lot of weapons to counter the Rumbling. Eren and the others sometimes were almost being attacked as well because of it.

"Damn it... nobody is willing to hear us out..." Odom says.

"It is just like the future. I guess the Rumbling is the only way to get rid of the hatred once and for all..." Aya says.

"That means we're going to go with the plan..." Eren says. "I'll be spying in the Marley military while fighting against the Mid-East Nations, while you try to save the volunteers' family and bring them to the island so they will be safe from the Rumbling itself." The others nod as they start to go with the plan.

Back in Paradis, Mikasa has been thinking about what Eren says about seeing the future, but she promises Eren that she is not going to tell the others about it. The next time Mikasa meets Eren, Eren is already attacking the Liberio while killing a lot of people.

"Now or never, Mikasa." These are the words that cause Mikasa to swiftly fly to where Eren is located, she throws 8 Thunder Spears at the War Hammer Titan and stands on top of his Titan.

"You guys actually came." Eren says in a blank tone, and Mikasa just frowns at him. "Eren, please... Come home."

Eren just stares at her, before she continues, "Eren... Do you have any idea what you've done? You killed civilians. You killed children, too. You've done things that can't be undone."

Eren doesn't show any emotions to her, he just says, "Mikasa, it's not over yet."

Then they notice the War Hammer Titan getting up, and they continue to fight until Eren uses the Jaw to break the crystal of the War Hammer Titan and devours her, gaining the powers of the War Hammer Titan.

While this is happening, on the other side, an airship is carrying a lot of Yeagerists, including Gloria, Aya, Odom, Peter, and those who are willing to join in the cause of the Rumbling.

"Looks like Eren manages to get the power of the War Hammer Titan." Gloria says. "However, once they get back to Paradis Island, the military will hold Eren in prison so that we won't be able to get in touch with him..."

Aya says, "And there will also be two Warrior Candidates getting on the ship where Eren and Zeke are on, and they are going to kill Sasha..."

They turn around to see Sasha sitting on the seat while clenching her fists. "I think I understand how Eren feels after having Jean as his body fake... But to think we're going to sacrifice her..."

"Eren did warn her about the whole situation, and she is also willing to die for the new Eldia Empire." Peter says. "The Founding Titan is capable of manipulating the anatomy of Eldians, so making her the same as you are perfect."

"But still..." Sasha frowns.

Back on the airship, Connie walks into the place where Eren and the others are staying, and he says, "Sasha... is dead..."

A single tear continues to fall from Connie's eye as Eren speaks up. "Connie. Did Sasha... have any last words?"

Connie sniffles, his voice quivering as he answers. "She said... Meat."

Eren's eyes widen as he starts to laugh a broken laugh. He knows that Sasha is actually alive on another airship. The one who dies is actually one of his loyal followers who is willing to die for Sasha, despite his protests and doubts. But to think until the end she still plays her part in disguising as Sasha, only makes him more than willing to use the Rumbling.

"Eren... Sasha only died because you dragged the Scouts into this." Jean says. Eren just lowers his head with an anger that isn't showing towards anyone. Everything is now according to the future, and he knows for sure that he's going to be in the cell.

After Eren is arrested, Historia, who is 7 months pregnant, is gathering the meeting with the other 8 royal Yeagerists. Historia says, "So the military is going to arrest the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers, forcing them to hand the Titan Serum so that they can take Eren's Titan?"

Louise says, "That's what I've heard, they think Yelena or Zeke have manipulated him. But the King asks not to worry, because he has the power of the War Hammer Titan, and he will be using the powers to break himself out of the prison."

"And since all of the negotiations are a failure, with my family having the nerve to gather all the nations to declare war on Paradis, we manage to bring the ones who are surrendering to us here. We promised their safety as long as they drop the hatred and help us."

"I see... so we still manage to convince a few." Historia says. "Eren has told me everything, Floch, Louise, the two of you are going to tell the crowd about the military holding Eren hostage."

"Of course." Floch and Louise then leave, while Historia turns to Sasha, "By the way, how was your family?"

"I heard that the one who shot my body double managed to escape the dungeon and it seemed that my family is taking care of them right now." Sasha says. "Children are always innocent, that is the biggest joke I've ever heard. That girl did kill my body double..."

"And by the way, Gloria. Your uncle and aunt were killed by Eren, are you sure you can actually take this?" Odom asks.

Gloria closes her eyes and says, "I know it pains me a lot to see two of my family members killed, but I also know that it is necessary. I'm also glad that they don't actually need to suffer the harsh reality of the Rumbling."

"I see..." Peter says.

After Eren escapes the prison, he is walking towards his own soldiers, the other 7 representatives of the Power of the nine are there, with Floch giving Eren the clothes.

"What a crowd. This everyone?" Eren asks.

"Besides us here, we have allies hiding in the military." Floch answers. "Including some who blew up Darius Zachary. The only one who can save the Eldian Empire is you, Eren Yeager."

Eren puts on the jacket and says, "We're going to Nicolo's restaurant, Commander Hange and the others will be there, including the Marley Warrior Candidates."

Everyone nods as they all leave for the destination.

Here is a new chapter, I know that this chapter is not that long, the rest is the same as the anime, so I didn't write it here but the scenes were excluded from it. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter is where the true story begins. And the poll results is that Mikasa is going to be joining the Yeagerists, so the table scene will be different from the anime.
