Jay was taken to Ninjago City Hospital where fans were completely shocked to see the Master of Lightning admitted for a broken wrist before doctors immediately took him for an x-ray scan.

In his bedroom at the monastery, Lloyd dropped down on his bed, completely frantic from what had happened. He then looked to his right to see the ring case on his nightstand before standing up, went over to pick it up and squeezes it in anger. "She never loved me!" He said to himself. "She used me as well!" He turns and throws the case at the wall, which it soon struck, breaking apart in the process, and, along with the ring, landed on the floor.

At the hospital, while they were waiting, Nya was pacing around a little. "You were a little too hard on him, Nya." Gewuji said, not looking at her.

"What do you mean?" Nya asked, stopping to turn to her.

"She means, you got mad at Lloyd over a simple mistake." Cole replied.

"A mistake that may mean my husband will forever have a dislocated wrist!"

"Keep calm, sis." Kai said. "We're in a hospital."

"I don't care if we're in a hospital! Lloyd could very well have ruined Jay's time as-!"

"ENOUGH!" Geoff yelled out as he stood up. "I told you, it was not Lloyd's fault! It was mine."

Nya was soon confused. "What do you mean?"

"Before Lloyd attacked him, Jay was coming at me. I moved to the side, and Lloyd ended up catching Jay's hand by mistake."

Nya started to become angry. "That still makes Lloyd-"

"-at fault? Yes and no. Remember, if one is to blame, all is to blame."

Nya slowly started to calm down and turned away. "You're right. I'm gonna head back to the monastery, see if I can ask Lloyd to forgive me. Let me know when Jay's out, too." She heads for the exit as they all look at each other.

Nya arrived at the monastery a few minutes later, where she came across Lloyd's room and started to knock on the door. "Lloyd? Lloyd, are you in there?" Hearing no response, she finds the door is unlocked and opens it.

"Lloyd, I just want to say that I'm sorry I-" The room was unoccupied before Nya notices something on the bed and heads over to see it's a note and the engagement ring. She picks up the note and unfolds it to read it. Upon looking at it, she became completely shocked and ran out of the room. "Master Wu!"

Within minutes, everyone was back from the hospital with Jay having a cast on his arm since his ulna was separated and as long as he doesn't fight on it, it should be fine in a few weeks. "What is it, Master?" Kai asked.

"This was in Lloyd's room." Dragon replied, showing them the note.

Zane takes the note and looks at it. "'Fellow Ninja, by the time you have found this, I will be gone." He started to read Lloyd's note. "I'm afraid my failed proposal has lead me to do the most regrettable action: Breaking Jay's wrist. Even though Ninja never quit, I'm afraid to say that they don't last forever. When I was unconscious after we did the Tornado of Creation, I had a vision that the First Spinjitzu Master offered me to join him in the afterlife. After what had happened today, I should've taken his hand. And now, I am going there after all. Goodbye.'"

"Lloyd killed himself?" Cole asked.

"No, I can still sense him." Dragon replied. "He is heading for Hiroshi's Labyrinth." Gewuji started to think for a bit.

"Why would he go there?" Geoff asked.

Gewuji notices Nya was holding the engagement ring and gasped upon realising. "That was where we had our second date." She replied.

"Then we need to get there and stop him." Kai said as he prepares to go into the hallway, but Gewuji stops him.

"No, I caused all this." She heads over to grab the ring from Nya. "I should've said yes." She puts it on. "The reason why I said no, is because... I was afraid."

"Of what?" Geoff asked.

"Afraid that I'd be known as the future wife of the Green Ninja, fans obviously not going to be happy with the news. But most of all, I was afraid that I was only a relationship safety net, until he finds someone better."

"Gewuji, you're not the only safety net." Nya said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "My relationship with Cole was decent, but it was only a safety net."

Gewuji then nodded. "Okay."

"Now, go bring Lloyd back." Cole said before Gewuji immediately took off.

Upon reaching the bottom of the steps, Gewuji notices that Lloyd didn't take his car before heading towards it, gets in, starts it and immediately drove off to reach him in time.

Lloyd overlooked the view from the cliff over the jewel of Hiroshi's Labyrinth before looking down at the Endless Sea below. He figured that it may take days before anyone would find his body and would imagine the following day's headline, 'Green Ninja Drowned.' Without a moment of regret, Lloyd looks up at the sky. "I'll see you soon, grandfather." He said to himself before closing his eyes and tilts forward, going over the cliff.

Once he was moving down the cliff, Gewuji had just arrived to see him go over. "Lloyd!" She yelled, rushing over to the cliff where she looked down to see him land in the Endless Sea and instantly disappeared with some ripples appearing caused by his splash landing. Gewuji quickly moved back before running towards the edge and jumped off. As she fell, Gewuji spun to face the ocean while moving her hands in front to dive into the Endless Sea.

Upon diving in, Gewuji moved her arms back to see Lloyd slowly sinking to the ocean floor, not moving at all as he let his air bubbles come out of his mouth before she quickly swam down towards him with all her might until she managed to reach him, wrapped her arms underneath his armpits and started to swim for the surface as Lloyd opened his eyes to notice Gewuji until they reach the surface and they both took in large amount of air before looking at each other.

"Are you crazy?"

"I have nothing left."

"So you think drowning yourself to join your grandfather would solve everything?"

"I broke Jay's wrist, Nya doesn't believe it was an accident, and you rejected my proposal. You never loved me!"

"I do love you! I always have!" She holds up her left hand to show the ring on her finger, surprising him. "Which is why I came here." She then placed her hands on his cheeks. "Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, I changed my mind. I will marry you!"

"Really?"

"Hell yes!" Lloyd soon laughs before moving his arms around Gewuji before they lock lips. They then back away to look at each other. "Now, let's go home."

"Agreed." They start to swim towards the shore.

They soon reached the shore and walked back toward Lloyd's car while air drying in the process, until they reached the monastery, where Lloyd personally apologised to the others for worrying them, breaking Jay's wrist, and running away with Nya apologising for being hard on him.
