I do not own The Simpsons.
Enjoy!
The legend of Naomi spread throughout the town.
When you make that big of a splash where kids and adults talk, the town listens.
News spread about the super rich version of the nagging girl who treats you well.
The next day, Lisa came into school and noticed that students and teachers stopped talking and just stared at her head, in a weird way.
She sat at her desk and the weird staring continued.
She ignored it and fell into old habits again.
Miss Hoover seeing this, said under brief. "Oh, Jesus christ. Why couldn't I get the quiet and rich one?"
And Lisa said. "What?" Obvious hearing.
And the woman, realising she heard said. "Nothing." Quickly. "Let's continue class" moving on.
But that wasn't the only comment she would hear today, as all the teachers seemed to have a shorter fuse with her then normal.
And it wasn't break time yet.
Some girl asked her. "Are you Noami, yet?"
And she said. "What? No. I'm Lisa. Always have been"
A boy said. "Well, Lisa sucks. We like Noami better"
Lisa mouth hung open, as she didn't know what to say to that.
The twins said. "Yeah"
Terri said. "We have way more in common with Nami then you. That girl got style."
And Sherri said. "And she throws the best themed parties. Why can't you throw a party with actual cash falling from the sky?"
And Lisa snapped back. "I don't know. Maybe I'll throw one, when you do"
And her back handed annoyance was noted and they all shut up.
At lunch time, she walked into the cafteria and students and staff members were very happy to see her.
Only to realise it was HER.
Her band teacher said. "False alarm everybody. It's not the rich one that we all like way better"
They deflated and she opened her mouth.
"Why couldnt she be Noami?" Somebody said.
And it felt like a slap to her.
She went to the line and the Lunchlady gave her a certain look, before giving her the terrible food but way grumpier then usual.
She tried to sit at a table with all the girls, who she had a iffy relationship with and one said. "Are you, Noami?"
She said. "Ur, No?"
The girl said. "Come back, when you are"
And she said, holding back the tears. "Oh" walking away.
She was forced to eat outside.
Alone.
She said, trying to cheer herself up. "Cheer up, Lisa. There's must be somebody who would always see you as number one"
And then she saw a certain blue haired boy with glasses running to get the ball next to her and got an idea.
She went up to him and said. "Milhouse."
And Milhouse said. "Lisa?" Surprised to see her.
She said. "You still think I'm cutest girl, right?" Batting her eyelashes and smiling.
And Milhouse said. "Are you kidding me? Noami is way prettier." Her smile faded. "Plus she danced with me at her party last Friday and complimented me. I didn't see you doing that last Friday."
Then he said. "Sorry, Lisa I'm not going to be the fall guy who tells you what you want to here this time. Find somebody else"
Even he could see what she was doing.
Then he left.
She was detached.
Then she saw Nelson, another guy who was in love with her but before she could say anything, the guy said.
"Sorry, Lis. But Noami is not only hotter then you but she owns a dirt bike. Those are some serious girl points"
"That's a double wammy" said Jimbo.
"We got to stuff ourselves with candy yesterday because of her. And she gave us no school. Thats a tough act to beat." said Dolph.
And Kearney said. "Who are you, again?"
Hearing this, she left feeling dejected and rejected, as nobody wanted to be around her unless she had the light blond streak in her hair.
Suddenly she heard. "Ah. What's the matter little girl?" she looked up to see grounds keeper Willy.
She said, wipping away a few tears. "Nobody wants to be around me because I'm not Noami."
And the man said. "Well, nobody is and that's the best part. We're all so unique. We shine in our way."
And she said, smiling. "Thanks Willie. At least, I know I have a shot with the staff when compared to Noami"
And the man suddenly said. "Are you nuts!?"
Her face changed, hard.
He said. "You vs Noami? I managed to squeeze so much money out of that little girl, in such a short period of time, that I can fly home to my family for the holidays. You can't do that for me or any of the staff here. Do know how much money, the whole staff makes? We all have to get second jobs just to survive."
He then said. "We may comfort you and sooth your feelings. But if we had to chose between you and her on who to have at school, we would be kicking you out before it was even break time. Why would we keep the little girl that doesnt pay us?" And then he went away.
She began crying again.
She was depressed all the way home and her brother found her crying in her room.
Bart said. "Lisa. What happened?"
And Lisa said, whipping away a tear and turning to look at him. "Bart. I want you to be honest with me. Do you like Noami more then me?"
And he said. "Well, duh. Everybody does"
Her face changed.
He said. "Lisa, your talking about the girl, who had the teaching staff eating out of the palm of her head. She drove a dirt bike through the school. She had a awesome party in an abandoned factory. She paid for everybody to go home early and we all got free candy. That girl is like the Lambogetti of kids. And your like the kiddie bike, nobody wants to be seen with. Of course, everybody likes her better then you"
And she said. "Oh" and sniffling.
He said. "But don't sweat it." Her face changed.
He said. "This whole thing will blow over one or two week tops. She doesn't go to the school anymore so people will eventually forget. You just need to wait it out and then you'll just be a dork that everybody avoids because she's such a dork. And then you can be a happy dork in your room while annoying me"
And Lisa cheered up and said. "That is one of the nicest things your ever said to me"
Bart said. "No problem. That girl maybe able to steal the people you never had in the first place, but there is no way she can steal the people who have to put up with you people at home"
He then said. "Besides. I highly doubt anybody who likes her now, will like her if she's suddenly broke. At least you can brag that any friend you make is a true friend because they know your broke and still like you"
#Noami#
Was this a family tradition, now? She thought, seeing that her parents were here, just so they can all get into one bed and watch terrible movies together.
She wasn't complaining though.
Her parents left after the following day and she went to work with having the rest of the town identify her as Noami.
She wanted adults to look at her and know she wasn't the girl who nagged them every city hall meeting.
Or had a father, that the town restaurants were genuinely afraid off.
And honestly, she was curious what a Krusty Burger tested like.
So she asked the nanny to accompany her and she began shopping all over Springfield in expensive clothes, leaving big tips, tipping adults who helped her out.
She made sure her light blond streak was visible and she wore her Tiffy necklace that said 'Noami' on it.
Her scary Nanny kicked the ass of anybody who wanted to rob her.
Her plan worked.
Within days, Springfield was giving her the kind of service that would make even the rich of Springfield jealous.
And of course, those around asked while seeing the treatment and was told who she was.
In every store backroom was her and Lisa photo to remind the staff who they should pay attention too.
It was so vast, that unknown to her even Moe Szyslak, was counting the days until she can get wasted.
Unfortunately, Springfield delt with the Simpsons a lot more then the Skylarks, so a lot more often, they were dealing with the girl who had no money.
There was a lot of dissappointment behind the scenes.
And what came as a huge shock to her was that she didn't actually like Krusty Burger.
Maybe, her mouth had become an expensive mouth and she could no longer stomach what was passing as a Burger in Springfield?
Well, at least she tried it.
Also, Krusty the clown did not make her laugh.
But she did like the Itchy and Scratchy elements though.
She was finding so many differences between her and Lisa here.
Then she had an idea and asked her parents if they were interested in throwing a neighbourhood barbecue.
Of course not at their house but at a park and they can pay people to do cooking.
It would be a great way for them to introduce themselves to the community and establish that they weren't the Simpsons.
And both her parents thought this was a great idea so she began putting flyers up all over time.
The Skylark neighbourhood barbecue.
It promised free premium homemade burgers, ribs, sit down places, babysitters, alcohol in beer can or fancy cup form, none alcohol for the kids, a slip and slide, bounce house and vegan options you can actually eat.
They had food for old people too.
It was truly a barbecue that everybody can enjoy.
The entire town lit on fire when they got a good look at the flyers.
It was rare to be at a function where adults and kids can have a good time and be separated from each other.
So it was no exaggeration that the entire town turned up for this and Noami delivered.
It turned out more beautiful then anybody could have dreamed off.
And there was lots of babysitters too to help with the shockingly high population that was Springfield kids.
Her brother was with the Nanny while she saw her parents introduce themselves to Springfield adults and the two got recognised immediantly for what they do for a living.
She was proud that she had parents who weren't remembered for almost causing a nuclear meltdown several times.
The two were soon giving out autographs.
Even Mr Burns was here as part of the elderly population.
She had never seen so many happy old people chowing down on food they can actually eat, plus it looked appealing and tasted good too.
The eye of the adult section was clearly her parents.
So many men and not straight women watched as her mother Eve got into their line of eyesight.
Even the Mayor turned his head.
Meanwhile her dad was popular for the fact he was actually really funny in a none 'I'm not very smart' way and was telling people about the first time he went to one of those Hollywood celebrity parties.
Who was shady too who.
Who he picked up had beef with each other.
Who was the drunkest person there.
Who was actual pleasant when the cameras weren't rolling and who was the biggest jerk there.
While also not saying way too much.
But still, from what little she was hearing, it sounded juicey over there.
And even though she couldn't see it, she was sure, Marge Simpson was listening intently with a tiny glass of alcohol in her hand.
And she was right.
The two couldn't have been a more bigger hit with the Springfield adults.
She went to look for Lisa but couldn't find her, until she realised she needed to look for the parts with fewer kids and discovered her at a bench.
Alone.
But the girl was content reading a book with her vegan meal.
Lisa was fine on her own.
She walked passed her and went to play with the other kids.
Hours later, Springfielders actually helped packed up.
Under the promise, that they could get leftovers of course.
Lots of people wanted leftovers.
Eve by now had been handed Jamie who looked like he had a great time.
The Nanny drove up in their Red Lambogetti and handed her dad the keys before half the town.
And her dad then thank the woman for working on her day off and gave the woman money for her time, then located his family and her.
And he called out to her. "You coming, Jellyfish?"
And she said. "I'm coming, dad."
She saw the look of shock and surprise from surrounding people.
She then went with her envious family to the equally envious car while her mom asked her if she had a good time.
She answered and people could hear there weren't imagining her voice.
They entered the car and did whatever wished they could do if they were ever lucky enough to enter this kind of car.
They put shades on, even Jamie did, blasted music high and speed off.
Young and rich.
Those who watched opened their mouths.
Almost an hour later, they arrived back home and she was tired, then she heard.
"Mon chou. (My sweet Bun), do you know who Lisa Simpsons is?"
And she froze and then she saw both her parents looking at her.
She had failed to take into account that maybe the Simpsons or somebody else, could tell her parents about Lisa at the barbecue, peaking their interest.
She finally came clean and said. "Yes. I do know her. We even hung out several times."
And not missing a beat, her dad said. "Oh, okay then."
And she said. "That's it?" Surprised.
Her mother said. "What do you want us to tell you? We have friends as well. We not going to be the adults who have to meet their kids friends." She shivered at that.
Her father said. "What did you think was going to happen? We would get so curious and find out she is so wonderful that we replace you with her? No thank you. You gave us all of this. And from the sounds of her, the only thing she would give us is a Headache after a while."
And she couldn't help but smile at that.
All the families members moved to the couch with her.
Her mother said. "So who's reading your bedtime story, tonight?"
And she said. "How about both of you? See what both of you combined makes."
And her dad said. "Oh, experimentation. I like it"
That's right, life was one gaint experiment.
There was no way to know the actual outcome of things.
With her parents reassurance, she could finally look at the checkbook she had been hesitating about but really wanted to do.
Do a sleepover swap with Lisa Simpson.
Author Note: I deleted and modified this story because the story became less about experiencing life and more about pleasing the world, making news and social media. It had gone off the rails from my original vision and I didnt know where I was taking it, so I had to bring it back. However, Orion Hughs, Zion and Noami friend group will still be introduced but in a different way.
And he wasn't the only one.
How did she?
She began dancing with the umbrella and then changed outfits to a outfit that was all his brand Slippereme.
The guy began smiling when he saw this while everybody opened their mouths.
She didn't know that the guys 'Dad' was seeing this online.
And then she changed to all of Gucci, showing that she really did have money.
But she continued to outstyle everybody on the street.
And what was funniest moment was that when the music said "Nothing on" she choose to dress back into the bear costume, getting laughter.
She danced to him and spun the umbrella over him and suddenly the guy had changed into a suit and tie.
The guy was shocked and amazed of course, and so was everybody else.
She returned to his clothes because of course, she couldn't steal them and not give it back.
She finished her act, across the street in the bear costume, just as she started.
The music stopped.
Now was silence.
Everybody look at Orion for his reaction.
He said. "Well, after that. I have to say yes."
And everybody watching, cheered.
"He said yes!" Somebody yelled.
#Later in an interview#
"Sorry, but no" said Darius Hughes, his 'dad' to the press. "That girl has nothing to do with his work right now and his schedual is too tight to be fooling around right now."
He then said. "However, if she asks again in 3 years, we would be happy to pencil her in"
It was a very brutal rejection.
But it wasn't like Orion can skip work for somebody, he couldn't even get a work deal out of.
The world wondered how she was taking this.
How do you handle, flying to another part of the world to woo a guy only to be blocked by their rich and famous parents?
She must be crushed.
She posted a video of herself with a guy who looked exactly like Justin Bieber when even grown women wanted to throw themselves at like.
He wore a grey tshirt, expensive brand blue jacket and in his earslops were important looking earrings that had the name "Z" engraved it.
He said, in a voice too fine for his "Hi. I'm Zion. Noami, new boyfriend" He then winked at the camera and smiled seductive.
The caption read. "Orion who?"
Her followers saw this and exploded.
The world exploded.
Girls all over the world screamed.
She wasn't crying, she upgraded!
If she couldn't make it with other famous kids, she would have to make some of her own.
