Two months later, the Ghost was flying through space with two A-wings flying on both sides of the Ghost before moving away from the Ghost as they were intercepting an Imperial fleet containing Imperial Gozanti class cruisers that were carrying TIE fighters after having joined the Rebel fleet known as Phoenix Squadron after saving Kanan from the Empire.
"Making for the freighter. Keep the TIEs off our back," Hera told the A-wing pilots from the Ghost's cockpit with Chopper.
"Split formation, Phoenix-2. I'll cut across their axis " one of the A-wing pilots said from their A-wing as they destroyed one of the TIEs that one of the Gozanti class Cruisers were carrying.
"Good shot, Phoenix-1. Save some for the rest of us," Satele, who had dyed her hair blue with yellow tips and repainted her armor navy blue and yellow with its left pauldron having a Mandalorian styled Jedi Order symbol painted on it told Phoenix-1 from the Phantom as Sabine, who was sitting in one of the Ghost's turrets fired upon one of the TIEs only to miss each time.
"Phoenix-1 to Ghost, we've cleared a path for you," Phoenix-1 told Hera on the Ghost's comm system.
"Phew. Kinda nice having Phoenix Squadron watching our backs," Hera remarked.
"We always did all right on our own," Kanan told her from the Ghost's rear cannon as he fired at the Imperials with the rear cannon.
"True, but I prefer life with our new fleet to flying solo," she told him.
"Oh, you were solo?" Kanan asked Hera, flirting with her as a TIE fighter flew towards the Ghost, firing its laser cannon as Hera strafed the Ghost left to avoid the TIE fight.
"I wouldn't mind getting my feet back on solid ground for a while," Zeb said as he was trying to keep himself balanced from falling over as he stood behind Sabine who was sitting in the turret near the cargo hold.
"Zeb, you really should stop complaining we have a mission to complete," Sabine told him when he suddenly fell off the cargo hold's catwalk and fell to the cargo hold's floor.
"Phantom, I'm moving into position," Hera told Satele as she contacted her.
"Copy, Specter-2. I'm on my mark," Satele replied as she detached the Phantom from the Ghost and began piloting it as the shuttle's targeting system locked onto the Gozanti class cruiser that she was flying towards, "Firing now!" She then fired the Phantom's turrets at the Gozanti class cruiser, causing cargo containers that were inside the Gozanti class cruiser to fly out into space, "Cargo is liberated. Specter-2, you're clear for pickup."
As the Ghost began flying towards the cargo that Satele just liberated from the Gozanti class cruiser, Imperial Light Cruisers jumped from Hyperspace around them.
"Imperial reinforcements have arrived!" Hera announced as the Imperial Light Cruisers began firing upon them.
"Ah, kriff!" Sabine exclaimed before the Ghost flew away from the Light Cruisers, "Thanks for getting us away from them, Hera."
"I need a little help. They're all over me!" Phoenix-1 said as the TIE fighters began to follow him.
"I've got you covered, Phoenix-1," Satele told Phoenix-1 as she fired the Phantom's turrets at the TIEs that were chasing Phoenix-1 and destroyed them as one of the Light Cruisers began firing its turbolasers at one of the Rebel blockade runners.
"We're losing our deflector shields!" A middle aged man with light tan skin, brown eyes and hair with a bit of it greying on its side named Commander Jun Sato told one of his rebel officers before turning to his blockade runner's communication system, "Ghost, we must withdraw."
"Acknowledged, Commander Sato, but first we're getting what we came for," Hera told him from the Ghost as she piloted the ship as Kanan destroyed two TIE fighters with the Ghost's rear cannon before they flew towards the cargo containers, "Zeb, get ready to pull those containers aboard."
With that said, Zeb pressed a button on the wall of the cargo hold, causing the cargo hold's hoist to eject from the wall and pulled it out, "Almost in range," he said as he placed his hand on the hoist's handle.
"Um, anytime, Zeb," Sabine told Zeb as TIE fighters fired their laser cannons upon the Ghost's hull.
"Come on. Come on," Zeb muttered to himself as the Hoist's targeting system locked onto the cargo containers, "Ah, yes." He then rotated the hoist's handle, causing the cargo containers to fly towards below the cargo hold, "Gotcha," he then pulled the lever next to the hoist down, causing the cargo containers to magnetically lock onto the bottom of the ship.
"Ghost to Phoenix Squadron, mission accomplished," Hera said as she contacted Sato and the other members of Phoenix Squadron as Sabine fired upon the TIEs and destroyed a few of them as Sato's blockade runner and the A-wings jumped into Hyperspace as Kanan destroyed another of the TIEs.
"Specter-6, bring it in," Kanan told Satele as he saw the Phantom fly towards the Ghost as Satele pressed a button in the Phantom's cockpit, causing its wings to fold back up.
"I'm in the pocket. Five by one," Satele said as the Phantom began to approach the Ghost's shuttle port.
"Welcome back, Sis," Sabine told Satele as the Phantom reattached itself with the Ghost and swooped around one of the Light Cruisers with TIEs chasing them as it jumped into Hyperspace.
"Agent Kallus, I've exhausted every resource to find information about the rebels, but there is nothing to be found! What more does Governor Tarkin expect?" Tua asked Kallus as they stood inside an office within the Imperial Complex with Tua sitting at the desk within the room while Kallus paced around the room.
"He expects Lothal to be punished, Minister Tua. His own Star Destroyer was demolished by these rebels two months ago. He takes that somewhat personally," Kallus told her.
"Well, I've doubled patrols, set up checkpoints, established curfews. I honestly don't know what else to do," Tua added as she sat down in the chair behind her around the desk.
"Perhaps that is the problem," they heard a mechanical voice say and looked at the doorway to see the same black figure in black armor and black cape that arrived on Lothal two months ago with Tarkin standing at the doorway with two Purge Troopers carrying electro-staffs with him, "You lack imagination, Minister, when it comes to producing results."
"Lord Vader, with all due respect, you and Governor Tarkin are asking for miracles. If the rebels have left Lothal, then…" Tua began as Vader entered the room and began walking towards her.
"If the rebels have left, then we must draw them back. And if they are here, we must draw them out. We will squeeze Lothal until someone reveals the whereabouts of these traitors," Vader told her.
"I'm sorry, my lord. I am merely a public official. I have no experience with such brutal tactics," Tua protested.
"You can explain that to Governor Tarkin when you visit him," Vader told her as he began to leave the room.
"Visit him?" Tua asked with confusion and surprise.
"He expects you tomorrow, to account for your failure," Vader explained as he continued to leave the room.
"But I… I'm needed here. I… I couldn't possibly get away!" Tua protested as she stood up and extended her arm out as she knew what he meant.
"Not to worry, Minister. Lord Vader and I will manage in your absence," Kallus told Tua as he stood in the doorway after Vader left the area with his Purge Troopers before pressing a button to close the doorway as Tua sat back down in her chair and placed her hands over her face, contemplating on what to do.
"You and your crew have proven invaluable to our fleet, Captain Syndulla. The fuel acquired in your convoy attacks has helped us one step ahead of Imperial patrols," Sato told Hera as she, Zeb, Sabine, Satele and Ahsoka with her R4 astromech droid, R4-G6 stood around Sato's command ship's debriefings room's holotable as the Ghost was docked with its airlock while Kanan sat on a ledge in the room near the cockpit behind Ahsoka and Hera.
"Thank you, Commander Sato. I'm just sorry our intel about shield generators being on that shipment was wrong," Hera told him.
"Perhaps with your next attack, Hera," Ahsoka told her when Chopper suddenly rolled into the room as he grunted at them.
"What is the meaning of this?" Sato asked Chopper.
"An incoming transmission," Kanan answered before turning to Chopper, "Who from, Chop? Ah, why don't you just play it?"
"Uh, Chop, cloak us with a one-way transmission," Hera told Chopper after looking at Kanan as she cleared her throat before a hologram of Old Jho was projected from Chopper's holoprojector.
"Hey, it's Old Jho!" Satele cried out as she saw the hologram of Old Jho as she and the others haven't seen him in two months.
"I can't see you, but I can hear you, my friends. Time is short, and there's someone here desperate to speak with you. I told her I couldn't find you, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She says she needs your help," the hologram of Jho told them.
"We're always ready to help someone in need," Kanan told him.
"Yeah, well, this one's different," Jho told them as he stepped backwards as Minister Tua appeared within the hologram.
"Minister Tua?!" Hera said with disbelief.
"Oh, we can't trust her. She's an Imperial," Zeb remarked.
"Please, I beg you. Listen to my request," Tua said, pleading with them.
"End transmission now, Chop," Kanan told Chopper.
"Wait! Minister, what do you want?" Hera asked Tua.
"My life is in danger. I need you to give me safe passage off Lothal," Tua answered.
"You're not really considering this?" Zeb asked Hera.
"Quiet!" Hera told Zeb as she yelled at him.
"I assure you, my intentions are sincere. To prove it, I will trade secret Imperial information," Tua told them, surprising Sabine and Satele.
"You're defecting from the Empire?" Sabine asked Tua with disbelief.
"Yes, I am," Tua confirmed.
"She's telling the truth. I can sense her fear," Satele told everyone as she stammered a bit.
"I sense it as well," Sabine added.
"Yeah. But of what?" Kanan asked as he agreed with both of his Padawans.
"So, what have you got to trade?" Hera asked Tua.
"A list of rebel sympathizers on Lothal and other nearby systems," Tua answered.
"How come these sympathizers have not been arrested?" Sato asked her.
"Some have powerful friends in the senate. Imperial command watches them but can do nothing. I know you need allies. Get me off Lothal, and I will give you the list," Tua answered.
"We shouldn't even consider this," Kanan told them.
"If I didn't sense her fear then I would think that it's obviously a trap, but I did sense her fear, so I say that we help her," Sabine told them.
"There's something else. I've discovered the true reason the Empire came to Lothal," Tua added.
"We know that one. The Empire has a factory, and they're stripping the planet's resources to fuel it," Hera told her.
"No there is another reason known only to a few and ordered by the Emperor himself," Tua told them, causing everyone to talk to each other, not sure what to do with what Tua just revealed to them.
"We have to do this," Satele told everyone as she walked towards the hologram.
"I agree," Ahsoka said, agreeing with Satele.
"So do I," Kanan added.
"I agree as well," Sabine said as she agreed with her sister as well.
"All right, if Commander Sato approves the mission," Hera told them as she agreed with them as well.
"I believe it could be worth the risk," Sato said as he approved the mission.
"Minister, we'll get you out. Send us your coordinates," Satele told Tua.
"Thank you," Tua told them as Chopper's holoprojector switched off.
"Well, I guess we're on our way back to Lothal," Hera remarked.
"I guess we are," Kanan said, agreeing with her before leaving the room.
"Hey! What's with you? Do you have any idea how inappropriate that was?" Hera asked Kanan, scolding him as she followed him out of the room into one of the command ship's corridor.
"Actually, no, I don't," he answered as he stopped and turned to her before turning back around to continue walking.
"You can't just tell Chopper to project a hologram in a secret debriefing without authorization," Hera told Kanan as she turned him back around as she placed her hand over his shoulder.
"Authorization, procedure, that's what's bothering me," he told her.
"All right, talk to me," Hera told him.
"After this mission, I want us to go back on our own. Fighting alongside soldiers isn't what I signed up for," Kanan told her.
"You seem to be forgetting these soldiers helped save your life," Hera reminded him as she pulled him back into a dark empty doorway and held him against one of the doorway's door frames.
"And I'm grateful. But that doesn't mean I want to join their little army. When you and I started together, it was rob from the Empire, give to the needy. A noble cause. Now we're getting drawn into some kind of military thing. I don't like it," he explained to her.
"We are fighting a bigger fight, but it's still the right fight," Hera told him when Satele suddenly walked by them on the other side of the dark empty doorway and began listening to their conversation as she hid on the side of the doorway she was on.
"I survived one war. I'm not ready for another. I saw what it did," Kanan told Hera.
"To the Jedi?" Hera asked him.
"To everyone," Kanan answered before he and Kanan left the dark empty doorway as Satele walked through the dark empty doorway and watched Kanan and Hera walk down the hallway.
Back at the Imperial Complex, Tua left her office, walking down a hallway with Kallus watching her with a 9D9-s54 Dianoga spy droid following her movements as he suspected her of treason as he gestured the droid to follow her.
A star Commuter 2000 shuttle was docked with Sato's command ship with Chopper standing at the shuttle's cockpit, grunting as Kanan and Satele sitting on two of the shuttle's seats with Kanan sitting in the seat in front of Satele while Hera sat in a seat across from Kanan.
"So, we're not taking the Ghost, and we're letting Chopper drive?" Sabine asked as she boarded the shuttle.
"After our stunt on Mustafar, there's a good chance the Empire will be able to track it," Hera explained as Zeb sat in the seat behind her.
"Great mission so far," Zeb remarked, sarcastically as Sabine sat down in the seat behind Satele as Chopper grunted while the shuttle left Sato's command ship before jumping into Hyperspace.
"So, what's the plan?" Kanan asked Satele as he twirled his blaster.
"Okay, so Minister Tua is scheduled to visit Governor Tarkin tomorrow. She leaves Lothal via shuttle at 1800. We wait at the hangar, steal the shuttle and take her to safety," Satele answered.
"I hope she really is defecting," Sabine told Satele, hoping that what they sensed from Tua was correct.
"After all the trouble she's made for us, why should we help her?" Zeb asked them.
"Because that's what we do, help those who can't help themselves, also we Mandalorians help anyone, even if they're not Mandalorian," Satele told him, causing Hera to smile at her for her kind words, "Plus, her list will help us out."
"Shuttle 593, this is Lothal Control. You are cleared to land," a man's voice said on the shuttle's comm system as the shuttle exited Hyperspace near Lothal with two Star Destroyers orbiting the planet.
"I didn't think I'd miss it, but I…" Satele began as she looked at Lothal before stopping in mid sentence.
"What is it?" Kanan asked her.
"Do you two feel that?" Satele asked Kanan and Sabine.
"I feel it as well, Sat. It feels cold," Sabine answered her sister.
"Hmm," Kanan muttered as he felt the same thing that both of his Padawans did.
The shuttle soon landed as it reached one of the hangar bays in Capital City with the door opening up as the shuttle finished landing with Satele and Kanan exiting the shuttle first as she had her helmet under her arm.
"I've never seen so many Star Destroyers here," Satele remarked as she looked up and saw tons of Star Destroyers above them with there being more Star Destroyers on Lothal than two months ago, "It's gotten worse."
"All right, Zeb, Chopper, stay with the shuttle in case we need a quick exit," Hera told Zeb and Chopper after she, and Sabine exited the shuttle along with Zeb and Chopper as well with Sabine having her helmet under her arm before Chopper grunted a response.
"Tua's leaving from Bay 23. Let's go," Kanan told Hera and both of his Padawans before they left the hangar bay.
"Huh. We'll need a distraction," Hera told Kanan as the both of them along with Sabine and Satele hid behind a wall of a building as they saw an Aqualish, a human female and a Devaronian walk down the street as they also saw a stormtrooper patrol on another street ahead of them, guarding an Imperial shuttle before a Stormtrooper Commander with an orange pauldron began walking down the street as Kanan smiled to himself.
"Well, I'm gonna go make a few friends," Kanan joked as he, Hera, Sabine and Satele backed into the alleyway behind them, "When Tua arrives, I'll keep 'em busy while you all drop into the hangar from above."
"Make a few friends?" Hera asked with confusion.
"It'll be fun," he reassured her.
"Fun?" She asked him.
"Don't worry, General Hera," Kanan said as he saluted her, "Just be ready to move." He then left the alleyway and walked up to the Stormtrooper Commander and grabbed him by the shoulder, "Hey, didn't we meet in basic training? You look familiar." He then grabbed the stormtrooper by the helmet before incapacitating him as he knocked him out and dragged him into an alleyway next to the two of them Kanan then left the alleyway a few seconds later with the Stormtrooper Commander's uniform on and held the Stormtrooper Commander's helmet in his hand before placing it over his head and saputed them as he walked away.
"Kanan's gone Buckethead," Sabine said with disbelief after, she, Hera and Satele saw him wearing the armor of a Stormtrooper Commander.
"I don't believe it," Hera muttered to herself as she crossed her arms.
"You're right, Sis, he has gone Buckethead," Satele told her sister, agreeing with her as both of them placed their helmets over their heads before they jump up towards the rooftops as Kanan headed towards the stormtrooper patrol that was guarding the Imperial shuttle and looked up at the rooftops for a second as he saw Satele before she bent back down.
"Here she comes," Satele told Hera who was standing on the rooftop near the edge of the building as Satele saw a landspeeder containing Tua and Kallus fly below them, "But she's got company."
"What kind of company?" Hera asked as she stealthily sneaked over to Satele.
"Oh, fantastic. Agent Kallus," Satele remarked sarcastically as she flipped down her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate and saw Kallus piloting the landspeeder.
"Thank you, Agent Kallus, but there… There was no need for an escort," Tua told Kallus as they left the landspeeder as it approached the stormtroopers and Kanan.
"Lord Vader asked me to make sure you reached your shuttle safely," Kallus explained to her.
"I see," Tua muttered as she walked forward.
"We can't be too careful about security these days," Kallus remarked as he and Kanan went to follow her while Kanan looked up for a second before he continued to follow them while Sabine stood on the building above them and began to jump down from the building.
"Yes, I suppose," Tua said, agreeing with Kallus.
"Hey!" Sabine called out to every stormtrooper as she jumped down and landed behind Tua, Kallus and the stormtroopers including Kanan before they turned around and aimed their blaster rifles at her with Kanan doing the same as he aimed his blaster rifle at her as well in order to keep his cover intact before she twirled both of her WESTAR-35s as she pulled them out before firing them at the stormtroopers.
"Minister, take cover!" Kallus ordered Tua as he pulled out a blaster pistol and began fire it it at Sabine as the stormtroopers fired their blaster rifles at her as well as Kanan pressed a button on a panel next to him, closing the hangar bay doors.
"Surprise," Kanan told Kallus as he fired his blaster rifle at the control panel that he used to close the wall.
"Rebels!" Kallus growled as he began firing his blaster pistol at Kanan as he avoided Kallus's blaster bolts as he hid behind a container as Satele and Hera jumped down into the hangar bay and landed behind a group of containers as Kallus saw them and fired his blaster pistol at them as they along with Kanan ran towards another group of containers where Tua was hiding behind with Kanan on the other side of the group of containers.
"I need to tell you something," Tua told Satele.
"What is it?" Satele asked her, not really trusting her that much but shrugged it off.
"I know where your father, Alrich Wren is," Tua told her.
"I didn't even know he was missing," Satele told her with confusion.
"He's been taken captive by the Empire," Tua told her.
"Where?" Satele asked her.
"I wasn't able to find out where," Tua told her.
"Thanks for the information, Minister. But get to the shuttle," Satele told her, "We'll be right behind you."
"Right," Tua told her as she began heading towards the shuttle as Sabine jumped into the landspeeder and fired one of her WESTAR-35 at a stormtrooper in front of her before looking behind her and saw a squad of stormtroopers firing their blaster rifles as they ran towards her as she activated the landspeeder as she moved it to ascend into the air and as it reached the height of the top of the hangar bay doors, the stormtroopers blaster bolts hit the landspeeder's engine as she jumped out of the landspeeder and landed on top of the hangar bay doors as Tua ran into the Imperial shuttle with Hera, Kanan and Satele following but before they could enter the Imperial shuttle, it suddenly exploded from the inside, killing Tua instantly and sent them backwards and knocked the stormtrooper helmet off Kanan's head.
"Minister Tua," Satele said quietly with shock and anger as she, Kanan and Hera looked at the wreckage of the exploded Imperial shuttle.
"You did this!" Kallus said with anger as he accused them of the assasination of Tua that just took place as he began to fire upon them with his blaster pistol as Kanan grabbed his stormtrooper helmet as he and Hera retreated as the hangar bay doors descended downwards as they opened back up with stormtroopers rushing through the hangar bay doors as they fired their blaster rifles at them.
"Zeb, we need a pickup. Now!" Sabine said as she contacted Zebwith her helmet.
"Copy. We're on our way," Zeb said as he replied on her helmet's comlink as Satele aimed one of her WESTAR-35s at Kallus with an angry expression on her face which Sabine noticed as she used the Force to jump down from the top of the hangar bay doors.
"Satele, stop!" Sabine told her sister as she placed her arm on Satele's left pauldron.
"But, Sis, he just murdered the only person who could have found out where the Empire is keeping Father as she told me that they have imprisoned him somewhere," Satele protested.
"Even if they do have him imprisoned, we'll have to wait for more Mandalorians to join us and for a rebellion to start on Mandalore," Sabine told her.
"Fine, Sis," Satele told Sabine as she placed her WESTAR-35s back in their holsters as they followed Kanan and Hera into hiding as the stormtroopers stormed the area, Vader watched from a walkway above the hangar bay before the stormtroopers began firing their blaster rifles at Kanan, Hera, Sabine and Satele as Zeb arrived at the hangar bay with the Star Commuter 2000 shuttle after Vader left the walkway above them.
"Come on!" Zeb said as he called out to Kanan, Hera, Sabine and Satele as he fired his bo-rifle at the stormtroopers as he stood at the shuttle's doorway with one of his bo-rifle's blaster bolts knocking one of the stormtroopers to the ground.
Kanan, Hera, Sabine and Satele ran towards the shuttle as it landed on the ground, Chopper grunted as they ran past him, the stormtroopers fired upon the shuttle with their blaster rifles as Kallus's 9D9-s54 Dianoga spy was recording what was taking place the shuttle's door closed before leaving as Kallus smiled as he has enough evidence in order to frame the rebels on Tua's death.
As the shuttle left the hangar bay, an AT-DP began firing at the back of the shuttle with its laser cannon, causing everyone that was inside the shuttle to struggle keep balance and grunted as the shuttle began to fall towards the planet and crashed into the city with everyone but Sabine falling to the ground.
"Come on. Come on! Up, everybody! We're moving!" Sabine told everyone as she headed for the door and opened the door with a control panel next to it and saw bystanders of a variety of species standing in front of the shuttle as she, Satele, Kanan, Hera, Chopper and Zeb left the crashed shuttle.
"Everything has happened as you predicted, Lord Vader," a hologram of Kallus told Vader as Vader stood in an office within the Imperial Complex with him staring out a window.
"Now inform the populace the rebel assassins hide in their midst," Vader told the ISB agent as he turned to him, "Lock down the spaceport and make it known, any ship attempting to leave will be destroyed."
"Right away," Kallus told him as he ended the transmission.
Later on, Kanan, Hera, Zeb, Sabine and Satele were hiding inside the Bridger's house within the house's basement as Chopper entered the house as he closed the door and approached the basement's hatch.
Inside the hatch, Sabine was working on the Bridger's radio transmitter that was on the table in front of them as both she and Satele wore two sets of scout trooper armor.
"A beloved citizen of Lothal, Minister Tua's life was cut short by this band of criminal band of rebels," the holonet newscaster, Alton Kastle said as he appeared from the transmitter's holographic projector before he projected an image of Kanan, Hera, Sabine and Satele hiding behind one of the containers after they failed to save Tua, "If you see them, summon Imperial authorities immediately. Trooper corps have been mobilized in an extensive sea…"
"They did this to turn Lothal against us. We can't do any more here. We have to leave, for good," Hera told Kanan, Zeb, Sabine and Satele after she switched the radio transmitter off.
"We can't just run. The people have to know the truth," Satele protested.
"I don't think the Empire is giving us much choice, Sis," Sabine told her twin sister as she stood up.
Above the hatch, Chopper suddenly heard the house's front door getting unwield from the outside, causing him to startle as he turned around as the door was blown open and saw three stormtroopers at the doorway and fired a bolt of electricity at one of the stormtroopers with his shock projector, knocking them out.
"What the…" one of the stormtroopers began before seeing Chopper, who closed the door yet again as he started to wield the door shut with one of his tools.
"Open up in there!" One of the other stormtroopers ordered Chopper as he grunted before rolling back towards the hatch.
"We're in trouble," Satele remarked as she and Zeb poked their bodies out of the hatch as she also realized the situation they were in as Chopper grunted yet again.
"They've resealed the door," a stormtrooper told a stormtrooper commander that was behind him after examining the house's front door.
"Blast it open," the stormtrooper commander told the stormtrooper before he placed a thermal detonator on the front door, causing electricity to surround the front door before exploding as the stormtroopers stormed into the house and began firing their blaster rifles, only for the blaster bolts to hit objects in the room, causing the stormtrooper to raise his arm in a ceasefire manner, "Hold your fire. Hold your fire!" He then walked forward and saw the basement with it's hatch partially covering it, causing the stormtrooper commander to signal one of his stormtroopers to approach the hatch with the stormtrooper moving the hatch out of the way before dropping a thermal detonator into the basement with it beeping rapidly before all of the stormtroopers and stormtrooper commander ran out of the house as the thermal detonator exploded, destroying the house from the inside.
Unbeknownst to the stormtroopers, Chopper was hiding on top of the house, standing between two objects that looked similar to him before rolling over to Kanan, Hera, Zeb Sabine and Satele, who were hiding on the other side of the top of the house.
"If they know about this hideout, they'll know about our others," Satele told Kanan, Hera, Zeb, Chopper and Sabine.
"There's no more hiding. We need a ship. Maybe we can try one of the local Imperial airfields," Hera suggested.
"They're locked down. Besides we'll never get outside the capital," Sabine answered after she placed a holodisk inside of Chopper as he projected a map of Capital City.
"The Empire's looking everywhere for us," Zeb remarked.
"Not everywhere," Kanan corrected as he pointed at the holographic projection of the Imperial Complex on the holomap.
"The Imperial Complex? Are you crazy?" Hera asked Kanan with disbelief.
"Does anyone ever say yes to that question?" Kanan countered back at her.
"Yeah, no one ever answers that question," Satele told Hera as she agreed with Kanan.
"Mmm. He's right. Deploying troops to block every city exit has spread the garrison thin. It sounds crazy, but the area with the least troops will be here, near the factories," Sabine said, agreeing with Kanan as the holomap switched to another section of the city, "There are landing platforms outside these hangars. They're our best chance if we're gonna find a shuttle."
"Good thing, you, me and Satele ate already dressed for the part," Kanan told her as he held his stormtrooper helmet in his hand before they began to walk along a rope-like object as they walked off of the top of the house and balanced themselves as they to walk across the rope-like object and Satele looked down at the Bridger's house as it continued to burn before she flipped down her scout trooper's helmet before she continued to follow Kanan, Hera, Zeb and her sister as Chopper used his rocket booster to fly across the side of the rope-like object.
"What's this?" A stormtrooper guarding the Imperial Complex asked Kanan, Sabine and Satele as they approached him as they transported a loading dolly, carrying three crates containing Hera, Zeb, Chopper and both Sabine and Satele's Mandalorian armor.
"Power cells in need of recharging for the rebel pursuit," Kanan answered before Satele continued to transport the loading dolly.
"Hold it right there, Trooper. We have to check inside," the stormtrooper told Satele.
"I got this," Satele told Kanan and Sabine as she waved her hand in front of the stormtrooper, "No, you don't have to check inside."
"I don't have to check inside," the stormtrooper repeated as Satele successfully used a Jedi Mind Trick on him.
"Well, then, as you wish, Trooper," Satele told the stormtrooper before turning to Kanan and her sister, "Let's move.
"When will I learn to do that?" Sabine muttered as they entered the Imperial Complex.
"Not sure, Bine," Satele answered, "I just learned how to use a Jedi Mind Trick a few weeks ago."
Kanan, Sabine and Satele soon entered one of the Imperial Complex's corridors as Satele continued to transport the loading dolly and passed by a stormtrooper as they approached a door to a room and saluted the stormtrooper before Kanan opened the door to the room behind them with a control panel on the door frame before they backed into the room where both cadet and stormtrooper helmets were on shelves within the room with the loading dolly before Hera lifted off the lid of the crate she was in as Zeb threw the lid of the crate he and Chopper were in and made a loud noise as he did so.
"Zeb, will you be quiet?" Hera asked Zeb as he breathed heavily.
"What? I need to breathe. Have you smelled me?" Zeb asked her as Sabine and Satele took off the lid of the third crate to retrieve both of their Mandalorian armors as they removed the scout trooper armor they were wearing as they put their Mandalorian armor and helmets back on.
"Huh. Don't think it matters if you're noisy. There's nobody around. This was a good plan," Sabine said after she looked out the hallway for a second before walking away from the door as it closed behind her.
"Of course it was a good plan. We came up with it," Kanan told her as he removed his stormtrooper helmet.
"This way," Satele said as she began to lead Kanan, Hera, Zeb and Sabine out of the room before Chopper grunted from one of the crates.
"Somebody get Chopper," Hera ordered.
"You think we'll find them this time?" A stormtrooper asked another stormtrooper as they were patrolling the walls.
"We better," the other stormtrooper answered.
"Found me," zeb told the stormtroopers as they bumped into him before Zeb pounded both stormtroopers together by their helmets, knocking them out before running down the hall with Hera, Sabine, Satele, Chopper and Kanan following after Kanan took off the stormtrooper commander uniform.
Chopper then plugged his scomp link into an astromech port next to a door that leads to the Imperial Complex's hangar bay as they approached it before it opened and ran into the hangar bay and Saw TIE fighters stationed in the hangar bay before they soon hid behind a TIE fighter wing for cover and saw an Imperial shuttle in a landing platform.
"There's a shuttle," Kanan told everyone as he pointed at the Imperial shuttle on the landing platform, "What'd I tell ya?"
"You did good," Hera told Kanan before they ran out from hiding.
"Hera, over here," Sabine called out to Hera as she gasped after noticing four similar devices nearby and approached them.
"Shield generators," Hera said as she approached Sabine.
"Military grade," Sabine added as she activated one of the shield generators transportation modes as she grabbed it.
"Zeb, Satele, grab all we can carry," Hera told Zeb and Satele as she and Sabine approached them with the shield generators, "These might help turn this day around. The fleet could sure use them."
Satele and Zeb then grabbed two more of the shield generators and activated the shield generators transportation mode before transporting them towards the shuttle with Kanan soon following them before he, Sabine and Satele stopped as the three of them suddenly felt a dark presence through the Force.
"Do you two feel that?" Satele asked Kanan and Sabine as she turned to them.
"I feel it too, Sis," Sabine answered.
"The cold," Kanan answered after exhaling as he recalled what both of his Padawans said as they were on the Star Commuter 2000 shuttle before looking behind and heard mechanical breathing and saw Vader standing at the front of the room and ignited a crimson colored lightsaber as they all stopped and saw him with stormtroopers following Vader as he began walking towards the rebels.
