Kanan and Satele ignited their lightsabers as Vader continued to approach them as the stormtroopers began to surround the others as Kanan and Satele immediately entered a battle stance.

"Hera, go! We'll cover you!" Kanan told Hera as she stood on the Imperial shuttle's ramp with Chopper.

"Kanan, look out!" Hera warned Kanan as she saw Vader going to strike Kanan down, but to Vader's surprise Kanan went into a saberlock with his lightsaber.

The stormtroopers took their positions at the walkers stationed in the hangar bay and got ready to open fire on Hera, Chopper, Sabine and Zeb, which both Sabine and Zeb fired back at them with their WESTAR-35s and bo-rifles as the stormtroopers began to fire their blaster rifles at them before hiding back behind the containers they were hiding behind, near the Imperial shuttle as Hera and Chopper transported the shield generators onto the Imperial shuttle.

As Kanan's lightsaber left saberlock with Vader's, Kanan and Satele were then Force Pushed away by Vader. Kanan landed on his feet, while Satele landed on her side and saw her master rush towards Vader and their sabers clashed with each other multiple times before Kanan went to stab him with his saber, only for Vader to grab him by the wrist and held him up as his lightsaber suddenly deactivated before throwing Kanan at a group of containers with his face slamming into one of the containers as he fell unconscious.

Satele immediately stood back up as she aimed one of her vambraces at Vader and launched a grapple from it and began to tie him together with it before he used his lightsaber to knock the grapple back at her with it pulling back into the vambrace before she went to charge at him with her lightsaber still ignited, only for Vader to Force Push her backwards towards one of the walkers legs.

"Your master has deceived you into believing you can become a Mandalorian Jedi, Prodigy of Revan," Vader told Satele as he used the Force to move her lightsaber towards her throat with her trying to stop it.

"You will not harm my sister, you shabuir!" Sabine cursed at Vader in Mando'a as she took out a couple of thermal detonators and threw them at him, only for him to see this and used the Force to throw them back at her, which she sensed through the Force before it happened and dodged them as she moved to another group of containers with Zeb as Kanan regained consciousness as he saw Vader trying to decapitate one of his Padawans by using the Force to move Satele's lightsaber towards her throat and rushed towards him, Vader sensed him with the Force and turned around towards him as their sabers yet again locked with one another as Satele landed on her feet.

"Get ready to fly us outta here!" Hera told Chopper from inside the Imperial shuttle as she held her blaster pistol in her hand with Chopper grunting a response as Hera ran back towards the ramp.

Zeb continued to shoot the stormtroopers that were standing at one of the walker's legs as Kanan's lightsaber broke free from Vader's and was pushed away as Satele rushed toward Vader and went to strike, only for their saber's to enter a saberlock before getting Force Pushed back by vader, Kanan then ran towards him to stab him before striking at him multiple times, only for their sabers to go into a saberlock.

"You know what me and Satele do in hopeless situations?" Sabine asked Zeb as she held a thermal detonator in her hand before handing it to him.

"Yeah. Blow stuff up," Zeb answered as he chuckled a bit as Kanan and Vader's saberlock moved to the floor before moving back up.

"Aim for the walkers," Sabine told Zeb as she and Zeb threw the thermal detonators at the legs of the AT-DP walkers and the stormtroopers that stood between the legs noticed this before they began to flee from the walker's legs as Kanan continued to battle Vader as Vader slashed his saber across Kanan's shoulder pauldron, causing him to scream in pain as he placed his hand over his shoulder pauldron as the thermal detonators on the AT-DPs suddenly detonated as they began to fall down towards the ground.

"Now!" Kanan told Satele as they extended their arms forward as they pushed Vader backwards as he fell to the ground as he lost his balance as the AT-DPs fell down towards him as he extended his arm towards the AT-DPs to stop them with the Force.

Both Kanan and Satele began to walk away from the fallen AT-DPs when they suddenly heard something coming from the wreckage and were surprised to see Vader lifting the destroyed AT-DPs without a scratch on him.

"If that doesn't kill him, what will?" Satele asked rhetorically as she was shocked to see Vader still standing.

"Not us. Run!" Kanan told her as Vader let go of the wreckage of the AT-DP with it falling behind him as Sabine and Zeb boarded the Imperial shuttle's ramp.

"Go, Chop!" Hera ordered Chopper.

"Come on! Come on!" Sabine urged Kanan and her sister as the Imperial shuttle began to lift off from the ground Kanan and Satele ran towards the Imperial shuttle with Sabine pulling out one of her WESTAR-35s out from its holster and began to fire er WESTAR-35 at Vader, only for the blaster bolts from her Mandalorian blaster pistol to be deflected back at her as they hit the beskar on her armor's breastplate and her helmet as she fell onto the shuttle's floor as both Kanan and Satele jumped onto the ramp as the shuttle flew away from the Imperial Complex as it left the Imperial Complex's hangar bay.

"My lord, I will mobilize our fighters to pursue," a stormtrooper commander told Vader as he approached him.

"That will be unnecessary, Commander. The rebels will not leave the planet yet," Vader told the stormtrooper commander before walking away.

"Zeb, make sure they can't track us," Hera told Zeb as both Sabine and Satele sat with Kanan on the other side of the room with Kanan as they sat on a bench within the Imperial shuttle's troop bay.

"Consider it done," Zeb told her as he left the Imperial shuttle's cargo hold.

"You alright, Sabine?" Kanan asked Sabine as she removed her helmet from her head.

"Yeah, I'll live, master," Sabine answered.

"Kanan, what was that?" Satele asked as she removed her helmet from her head as well, "Another Inquisitor?"

"No. Something worse," he answered.

"What?" Satele asked him.

"A Sith Lord. The ancient enemy of the Jedi and has exploited your people throughout history," Kanan explained.

"We already know about that because of Ulic Qel-Droma, Freedon Nadd, Darth Vitiate, who was the mastermind behind the Mandalorian Wars and our ancestor, Revan," Sabine told him.

"How do we fight him?" Satele asked as she stammered a bit.

"Yeah, how will I be able to fight that Sith as well considering I don't have a lightsaber yet?" Sabine added as she agreed with her twin sister.

"Fight him? Satele, Sabine, we were lucky to survive," Kanan told both of his Padawans.

"Okay. So when exactly am I getting my own lightsaber?" Sabine asked Kanan.

"Not sure, maybe when you're trained a little bit more," Kanan answered, "Why?"

"I just wanted to know because I would love to help both of you when you're fighting Imperial Force-Wielders, like other Inquisitors," Sabine answered.

"Well, for now you can just help us battle them with your Force abilities, Sis," Satele told her.

"If we can't fight that Sith Lord, then, I'm going to make for orbit so we can jump away," Hera told them as she began to head towards the shuttle's cockpit.

"Hera, no. He will have a blockade of Destroyers waiting for us," Kanan warned Hera as both Sabine and Satele got up from where they were sitting and walked towards a ladder next to Hera.

"And this shuttle is slow, with barely any weapons or shields," Sabine added as she began to climb the ladder as she turned to Hera with her helmet in her hand before scoffing, "We're gonna have to smuggle ourselves off Lothal for a change."

"She's right. We're gonna need someone to smuggle us off-world. And if anyone needs me, I'll be with my sister training her," Satele said, agreeing with Sabine after she climbed up the ladder before she climbed up the ladder as well.

"Mmm, that's not a bad idea, you two," Hera told both of the Mandalorian twins.

"What are you thinkin'?" Kanan asked her.

"I'm thinking we know the right man to smuggle us off-world," Hera told him before she climbed up the ladder as well.

"Not him!" Kanan told her as he knew who she was referring to.

"My lord, our scans have indicated that the stolen shuttle has not attempted to leave the system," Kallus told Vader as he approached the Sith inside of an office within the Imperial Complex as Vader stared out the office's window.

"Fear has driven them to ground," Vader explained to him, "There is a refugee camp the rebels have provided aid to in the past."

"Yes, Tarkintown they call it," Kallus told him, "You suspect the rebels are in hiding there?"

"No, but I want you to burn it," Vader answered, "The compassion of the rebels is a weakness. One we shall exploit."

"Yes, my lord," Kallus told Vader as he left the office to order his troops to burn Tarkintown.

"Well, hello there, Captain Syndulla," a hologram of Lando told Hera as she and Kanan sat in the shuttle's cockpit with Chopper behind them as he flirted with her, "This is a pleasant surprise. What can I do for you?"

"This isn't a social call, Lando. It's business," Kanan told the smuggler, "We need your help to smuggle something off Lothal."

"Past the Imperial blockade," Hera added.

"You know, if the Empire learned I got involved, it'd be all over for me," Lando told them, "I'd be taking an awful big risk."

"What do you want?" Kanan asked Lando as he sighed.

"What have you got?" Lando asked them.

"Imperial shield generators," Hera answered, "Military grade."

"Ooh. Now that's merchandise I can move. How many we talking about?" Lando asked her.

"Two," Hera answered.

"Two?" Lando repeated with surprise, "You are no gambler, Hera. Offering me two means you've got at least six, so I think three is probably fair."

"Fair? You're taking half," she told him with confusion.

"Those shields won't do you much good if you're dead," Lando explained, "Besides I would also like to have some of Sabine and Satele's artworks."

"You'd have to ask them?" Hera told him.

"Then contact them," Lando suggested.

"Sabine, Satele?" Hera said into her comlink as she took it out.

"Yes, Hera?" Satele said from Hera's comlink as she answered her call.

"Well, me and Kanan are on a call with Lando and he says that we'd have to give him 3 of the shield generators and some of your and Sabine's paintings," Hera told her.

"Lando told us the next time we meet him, we'd donate some of our artwork to him," Sabine added on Hera's comlink.

"Three it is and they'll give you some of their paintings," Kanan told Lando, "So we have a deal?"

"While I'm not on Lothal at the moment, my droid is. Go to my operation, and he'll set you up with everything you need " Lando told them, confirming that they do indeed have a deal as the hologram of him turned off as both Hera and Kanan looked at each other.

The Imperial shuttle landed at Lando's farm the next morning as a modified RQ protocol droid walked towards the shuttle as its ramp lowered revealing Hera, Chopper along with both Sabine and Satele with their helmets over their heads as they held the paintings they were donating to Lando as Satele held one of her Mythosaur paintings while Sabine held one of her impressionistic paintings.

"You must be Lando's droid," Hera said as she approached the modified RQ protocol droid.

"Yes. Ma'am. Welcome," the protocol droid confirmed. "I have prepared everything according to Calrissian's instructions. Is one of you a mechanic?"

"Oh, that must be me," Sabine told the protocol droid before Chopper grunted a response as they began walking forward, "Definitely not you."

"Where should we put these?" Satele asked the protocol droid, referring to her and Sabine's paintings.

"I'll take them, ma'am," the protocol droid told Satele as he took both Sabine and Satele's paintings from them as Satele sensed something from miles away from them before turning to see smoke in the distance, causing her to run towards one of the speeder bikes stationed at the farm and hoped on it.

"Hey, Satele!" Zeb said, calling out to Satele as he saw her hop on the speeder and flew away from the farm on it.

"Just let her go, Zeb," Kanan told Seb, gesturing to the Lasat to let Satele to go follow the smoke as Sabine sensed her sister leaving the farm but shrugged it off as it was something that probably wasn't her business.

Satele soon reached the epicenter of the smoke and saw that it was coming from Tarkintown and saw charred remains of the settlements of Tarkintown as she got the speeder bike as she flipped down her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder as Kanan approached her on a speeder bike.

"There's no one. They're all gone," Satele told Kanan as she flipped her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back up.

"They're prisoners of the Empire now," Kanan told her.

"All I sense is evil," she told him as he got off his speeder bike and walked towards her, "Why would they burn Tarkintown?"

"To spread fear, make us afraid," Kanan answered, "The people that lived here just got caught in the middle."

"This happened because of us?" She asked him.

"There's a cost for any action we take now, Satele," he told her, "Things are getting worse just as they did back when I was around your and Sabine's age. But back then, there were 10,000 Jedi Knights protecting the galaxy. Now…"

"There's just you, me and Sabine," Satele finished for him.

"Against an Empire," Kanan added.

"We can fight!" She told him, "We have allies."

"Do you understand what you're saying?" He asked her as he placed his hands over both of her armor's pauldrons, "You saw what we're up against. Look!"

"I'm not afraid," she told him.

"That's what worries me for you and your sister," he muttered to himself as Satele walked forward as they stared at the remains of Tarkintown as it continued to burn.

"What happened out there?" Hera asked Kanan and Satele as they arrived back at Lando's farm after Sabine and Lando's modified RQ protocol droid have fixed multiple transponders which were stationed on a table behind them.

"The Empire burned Tarkintown," Kanan answered as Satele stopped her speeder bike behind him.

"Did anyone survive," Sabine asked her twin sister.

"The population's been taken captive," Satele answered as she removed her helmet and placed it under her arm.

"Let's go bust 'em out," Zeb growled as he pounded his fist into his hand before looking around for his bo-rifle, "Where's my rifle?"

"No, he'd be waiting," Kanan told Zeb, referring to Vader as he placed his hand on Zeb's shoulder before turning to Hera, "You were right. We have no choice. We have to leave."

"For the good of Lothal," Hera added as she looked at Satele with the corner of her eye.

"So what's the plan for gettin' out of here?" Satele asked Hera.

"Lando had these old transponders lying around. Your sister's gonna tune their signature codes to match this shuttle's," Hera explained to Satele.

"Sounds like a lousy Lando plan," Kanan remarked as Zeb chuckled.

"No, it's Lando's gear. It was my plan," Sabine said, correcting him as she tapped on one of the transponders with her arm after walking over to one of them, "With these transponders beaming out the same signal as the shuttle, we should slip by unnoticed."

"Ooh, sounds like a lousy Sabine plan," Zeb corrected Kanan.

"Better than Lando's," Kanan said, agreeing with Zeb.

"Hey! That's my sister you're talking about!" Satele told Zeb as she punched Zeb on the shoulder as she was offended by what he just said about her sister.

The Imperial shuttle soon lifted off from the ground around Lando's farm as it's landing gear was inserted into the shuttle and its wings flipped downwards as the shuttle flew away from the farm with the transponders on board as the shuttle flew into the atmosphere of Lothal and the shuttle's ramp soon lowered as Zeb grabbed one of the transponders with Sabine walking with him before letting go of the transponder as it flew out of the shuttle as it activated.

"Admiral, I'm scanning a ship leaving the surface in Sector 4," one of Konstantine's navigational officers reported to Konstantine as he stood on his Star Destroyer's bridge, "It's transponder codes match those of the stolen Imperial shuttle."

"Order all fighters to intercept," Konstantine told him.

"Sir, I'm scanning the same transponder in Sector 9," another navigational officer told Konstantine.

"There must be a mistake," Konstantine told him with confusion, "Re-scan."

"I'm tracking the identical signal in Sector 11 and Sector 5," yet another navigational officer told Konstantine.

"The Empire's taking the bait," Kanan scoffed as he sat next to Hera in the Imperial shuttle's cockpit after Sabine, Zeb and Satele had deployed all of the transponders as they flew in between the transponders, "Their fighters are splittin' up."

"All right. Let's make our run," Hera said as she clicked a button above them in the cockpit before piloting the shuttle up towards space.

"We have a TIE reporting in," one of the navigational officers reported to Konstantine, "It appears to be some kind of device sending out a signal."

"Delta Squadron is reporting another device," another navigational officer reported to Konstantine.

"Order our pilots to destroy them," Konstantine told the navigational officers as he realized what was happening, "The rebels are trying to mask their escape."

One of the TIEs within Lothal's atmosphere soon fired its laser cannons at one of the transponders and destroyed it soon after firing upon it.

"Sir, one of the transponders is moving into orbit," one of the navigational officers reported to Konstantine, "It's breaking out."

"All ships converge on that signal," Konstantine ordered as he realized that the transponder that was leaving Lothal's atmosphere was the stolen shuttle.

"Looks like they've figured it out," Kanan said as he saw Imperial ships converging towards the shuttle.

"It's too late, boys," Hera told the Imperials as she activated the shuttle's Hyperdrive as it jumped to Hyperspace.

"The signal is gone. They've jumped," one of the navigational officers reported to Konstantine as Konstantine watched the stolen shuttle jump to Hyperspace.

"Never thought I'd say this, but thank you, Lando Calrissian," Hera said as she climbed down the ladder into the shuttle's troop bay as Sabine sat with both Kanan and Satele on one of the benches in the troop bay across from the bench Zeb was sitting on with both Mandalorians having their helmets on their laps before Chopper grunted a response as the shuttle traveled through Hyperspace.

"So if we can't go back to Lothal, where are we going?" Kanan asked Hera.

"What are you talking about? We're part of the rebellion now," Hera reminded him as she walked away from the ladder and approached him and crossed her arms.

"Are we? Are we all sure about that?" Kanan asked everyone, wanting to know their opinion on whether they should rejoin Phoenix Squadron's fleet.

"Maybe we could just grab the Ghost and lay low for a while as we work on my Jedi training," Sabine suggested.

"I like fighting with Phoenix Squadron. Reminds me of the Honor Guard," Zeb said, referring to his time as a guard for the Royal family of Lasan, "Besides, they're counting on us. Wouldn't be right to abandon them now."

"Satele, what do you think?" Hera asked as she turned to Satele.

"We can't help Lothal now, but I think the rebels can help us get stronger, so we can go back and change things and then possibly do the same for Mandalore when we have more Mandalorians join us," Satele told Hera as she gave everyone her opinion, "I think we should stay with the rebel fleet."

Back at the Imperial Complex, Kallus and Vader stood in the same office as the Sith stood in before, looking out the window in front of them when Kallus suddenly heard a ringing sound from the holocommunicator on the desk behind them.

"My lord, I regret to inform you that the rebels have escaped Lothal," Konstantine reported as he appeared on the holocommunicator after Kallus answered the holocommunicator's call.

"Have my ship prepared," Vader told Kallus, who nodded as Vader walked away.

"Agent Kallus, I don't think I understand," Konstantine admitted to Kallus with confusion.

"There is a tracking device hidden aboard that shuttle," Kallus explained as he turned to face Konstantine, "Now ready the fleet to deploy," Kallus then turned the holocommunicator off as he turned back around and stared out the window in the office.

"Phoenix Home, this is Ghost away team," Hera announced on the shuttle's comm system as she clicked a button above her in the shuttle's cockpit as it jumped out from Hyperspace as they neared Phoenix Squadron's rebel fleet, "Clearance code 1-2-18-1-5."

"You're clearance code checks out," they heard a rebel communications officer say on the shuttle's comm system, "Welcome home, Ghost team."

As soon as the shuttle docked with Sato's command ship, Kanan, Hera, Sabine and Satele walked into Sato's command ship with Chopper grunting at them in a panicked tone as he rolled towards them as they began to walk down one of the corridors of Sato's command ship, causing Hera to run down the corridor to warn Sato.

"Chopper said a transmitter activated on our shuttle moments ago," Sabine told Kanan and Satele.

"That's bad. Isn't it?" Satele asked them.

"Yeah, cause it means the Empire tracked us back to the fleet," Kanan confirmed before they ran down the corridor as they followed Hera.

"Commander Sato!" Hera called as she rushed into the debriefings room with Kanan, Sabine, Satele and Chopper following her, "We need the fleet to jump out of here. Our shuttle was tracked."

"Commander, I'm scanning a ship entering our sector," one of the command ship's navigational officers told Sato as he turned around in his chair, causing Kanan and Hera to look at each other as they knew the ship that was entering the sector was an Imperial ship.

The ship that entered the sector where Phoenix Squadron's rebel fleet was located was Darth Vader's personal TIE fighter with Vader piloting it towards the rebel fleet.

"We're tracking one target," the rebel navigational officer reported as he stood at the debriefings holotable, "No other ships have entered the system."

"Move Phoenix Squadron to intercept," Sato ordered his rebel and as Sato ordered that, pilots entered their A-wings before flying out of the Command ship to intercept the lone TIE fighter.

"Fighter coming in at mark 3," Phoenix-1 said as he noticed the TIE fighter and they all began to open fire on Vader's TIE fighter to which he easily avoided the laser cannons from the starfighters and fired back at them, destroying one of the A-wings.

"He's coming in too fast!" One of the other A-wing pilots said on Sato's command ship's comm system as they tracked the map of the dogfight on the holoscreen of the debriefings holotable.

"Fleet, raise deflector shields," Hera told the pilot.

"We've lost Phoenix-1 and 2," the pilot told them as Vader's TIE fighter suddenly started to attack the command ship with his TIE fighter's laser cannons before flying back towards the command ship.

"He's heading right for us," Satele noted as she pointed at the map of the holoscreen.

"Enemy fighter's making for the command ship," the pilot added as Vader's TIE fighter continued to fire its laser cannons at the command ship again.

"How can one fighter best our entire squadron?" Sato asked with confusion after the debriefings room lights flickered for a second.

"Your pilots are outmatched, Commander," Hera explained before heading out the room.

"Uh, what are you doing?" Kanan asked Hera.

"Getting involved," Hera answered as she left the room.

"Not without me you're not," Kanan stated as he followed Hera.

"Let's go," Sabine told her twin sister as she began to leave the room, "Sat, come on!"

"All right if RG and I tag along?" Ahsoka asked Satele, referring to her R4 astromech droid.

"The more, the merrier," Satele answered as she, Ahsoka and R4-G6 left the debriefings room as well.

The remaining A-wings continued to shoot at Vader's TIE fighter as they chased him, only for Vader to swerve around and fire back at them, destroying them instantly with the other A-wing to blow up a few seconds after it's engine blew up as it caught fire and spun out of control.

"Everyone, check in," Hera said as she hopped in the Ghost's pilot seat in the ship's cockpit as Ahsoka sat in the ship's co-pilot seat across from her as Kanan sat in the seat behind the Togruta.

"Tail gun, check!" Zeb said from the Phantom's pilot seat.

"Turret, check," Sabine said from the Ghost's rear cannon as she rotated it around.

"Nose gun, check! Check!" Satele said as she sat in the Ghost's nose gun and moved the turret around.

"All right, kids, do Mom and Dad proud," Hera said as she clicked one of the buttons above her in the Ghost's cockpit.

"Here he comes," Kanan said, pointing at Vader's TIE fighter as Vader flew his TIE fighter towards Sato's command ship as he fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at the command ship.

"We've lost our shields!" the rebel navigational officer told Sato as the command ship's power began to go off as the lights went out as Sato lost his balance as he was pushed towards the debriefings room holotable.

"Ghost moving to engage," Hera told Sato with the Ghost's comm system with Chopper and R4-G6 behind her as the Ghost detached from Sato's command ship as it went to intercept Vader's TIE fighter.

"I'm on him!" Sabine said as she began to shoot at Vader's TIE fighter only for Vader to evade the Ghost's rear cannon's lasers, "Who is this guy?"

"Sir, the last attack damaged the Hyperdrive core!" the rebel navigational officer reported to Sato as an explosion suddenly occurred in the back of Sato's command ship, "We're dead in space."

"Phoenix Home to Ghost," Sato said on the Ghost's comm system, "We can't withstand another attack from that fighter."

"Copy that," Hera told him, before speaking to the rest of the rebel fleet, "Phoenix Squadron form up and focus fire."

The Ghost continued to follow Vader's TIE fighter with two A-wings on both sides of the Ghost.

"The Force is strong with him," Ahsoka said as she felt a strong connection with the Force within Vader before turning to Kanan, "Kanan, let's find out how strong."

"How can I help?" Kanan asked the Togruta.

"Just remember your training," Ahsoka answered as he exhaled as he placed his hand on her shoulder as both Force-wielders extended one of their arms out, attempting to learn more about Vader through the Force as they continued to chase him.

"Enemy ship closing to attack range," the rebel navigational officer told Sato as his command ship was catching fire, near the command ship's engine and Hyperdrive.

"There's something familiar," Satele muttered to herself as she felt a familiar presence from the TIE fighter's pilot as Vader evaded the laser cannons that she was firing at him, "Sis, do you feel that?"

"Yeah, Sis. It feels cold," Sabine told her twin sister as both of them moved one of their hands from the cannon's control sticks and moved them to their armpits as they both felt the cold through the Force as the Ghost continued to chase Vader's TIE fighter and tried to fire at the TIE fighter, only for Vader to evade the laser cannons from the Ghost's nose gun.

"I think I know who it is," Satele said as she contacted Kanan and Ahsoka, "Back on Lothal, I felt something. Kanan and Sabine did too. The fear. The anger. The hate. It's the Sith Lord we faced." Ahsoka then opened her eyes as she felt something through the Force which terrified her.

"The apprentice lives," Vader said as he felt Ahsoka through the Force and recognized her Force signature.

Ahsoka screamed as she felt Vader before falling unconscious.

"Ahsoka?" Kanan said as Ahsoka fell into his arms as he stopped her from falling to the floor as the Ghost continued to chase and fire upon Vader's TIE fighter.

"The Imperial pilot broke off his attack!" the rebel navigational officer informed Sato, "They did it!"

"Captain Syndulla, whatever you're doing, keep it up!" Sato told Hera on the Ghost's comm system, "The fleet can recover!"

"No!" Kanan told Sato through the Ghost's comm system as he held Ahsoka on the floor, "Commander, you need to get the fleet out of here!"

"I will not abandon our command ship, " Sato protested as Vader's TIE fighter destroyed one of the A-wings that was flying next to the Ghost.

"You don't have a choice, sir," Hera told Sato with the Ghost's comm system, "Without a Hyperdrive, you must abandon ship."

"Sir, we have Star Destroyers in Sector 5," the rebel navigational officer told Sato as he scanned the sector for incoming ships on Sato's command ship.

"Lord Vader, we have entered the system and await your orders," Konstantine said as his Star Destroyer, the Relentless entered the sector where the rebel fleet was stationed as he stood on the Star Destroyer's bridge as other Star Destroyers entered the sector as well.

"Move your Destroyers to block their escape, but hold your fire," Vader told Konstantine as he began to fire upon the Ghost from behind, "I want these rebels alive."

"It's now or never, Commander," Kanan told Sato as Vader fired upon the Ghost.

"I regretfully agree," Sato told Kanan as he agreed with him from his command ship before turning to everyone in the room, "All hands, abandon ship."

"You'll have to keep that fighter occupied," Sato added on the Ghost's comm system.

"Don't worry, sir," Hera told Sato as she noticed that Vader's TIE fighter was chasing them, "We seem to have his attention."

Sato's command ship began to go down as Vader continued to chase the Ghost and began to fire upon the ship as they slowly neared the Star Destroyers with the Ghost firing back at Vader.

"Suddenly, there's a lot to do back here," Zeb remarked as he noticed that the Phantom's cannons were firing at Vader's TIE fighter slower than usual.

"Sorry to spoil your fun, Zeb, but I'm ordering Chopper to divert all power to the Hyperdrive, including cannons," Hera told Zeb as Chopper grunted before plugging his scomp link into the cockpit's astromech port after saluting Hera with one of his arms.

"Hera, what are you doing?" Sabine asked Hera with confusion and disbelief.

"I think I know," Satele told her twin sister as she saw that the Ghost was aligning itself with the Star Destroyers.

"Admiral, Lord Vader has separated one of the rebel ships from the rest of the fleet," one of the Imperial navigational officers told Konstantine as he stood next to him.

"Then that is our primary target," Konstantine told him.

"Ghost crew, the escape pods are secure," Sato told Hera with a commlink as he sat in an escape pod with a few rebel officers as two more escape pods were launched from his former command ship, "Fleet, commence Hyperspace jump."

"Copy that, Commander. We'll meet you at safe haven," Hera told Sato from the commlink as the escape pods and other rebel cruisers jumped to Hyperspace.

"The fleet is away," Sabine said as she saw the fleet's escape pods, corvettes and other rebel ships jumped into Hyperspace, "Get us out of here!"

"Everyone, hang on," Hera told everyone as Vader continued to chase and fire upon the Ghost, only for his TIE fighter's laser cannons to miss as Hera turned to Chopper, "Chopper, angle all deflectors astern." Chopper grunted a response as he continued to rotate his scomp link, "The Star Destroyers aren't the ones firing at us! Now, do it fast!" Chopper grunted yet again as he rotated his scomp link again.

"Target moving into range," the Imperial navigational officer that was standing behind Konstantine reported to the Admiral as he saw the Ghost reading right towards them.

"Activate tractor beam on my signal," Konstantine told the Imperial navigational officer.

"Hera!" Kanan said with worry as Hera piloted the Ghost closer towards two of the Star Destroyers.

"Wait. Wait…" Hera told him as she flew the Ghost in between the two Star Destroyers while Vader fired his TIE fighter's laser cannons at the Ghost.

"Now," Konstantine said, ordering the tractor beam operators to active the Star Destroyers' tractor beam.

"Gotcha," Hera said at the same time as the Ghost jumped into Hyperspace, escaping the tractor beam as it activated to only capture Vader's TIE fighter instead of the Ghost as it escaped just in time.

"Status report on the rebel craft," Konstantine requested from one of the Star Destroyer's tractor beam operators.

"Sir, we've locked onto a ship, but it's not the rebel craft. It's Lord Vader's ship," one of the tractor beam operators answered, causing Konstantine's facial expression to turn into one of somewhat embarrassment.

"Release… Release him immediately," tractor beam operator as he turned around after a few seconds of hesitation before the tractor beam operator switched the tractor beam off as Konstantine walked by the tractor beam operator, "It's not your fault, Officer. But Lord Vader won't know that."

Soon after the Ghost regrouped with the rebel fleet after they left Hyperspace, Chopper was repairing the Ghost from outside with R4-G6 as Ahsoka had regained consciousness as she sat in a chair inside the cockpit, thinking about what she sensed from Vader.

"Ahsoka, Hera said you wanted to speak with us," Satele told Ahsoka as she, Kanan and Sabine entered the cockpit with the door closing behind them.

"Please, come in," Ahsoka said, confirming what Hera told them.

"Are you okay?" Satele asked the Togruta.

"I am, thank you," Ahsoka answered as Satele sat in the seat next to her.

"I wanted to ask about the Sith Lord you encountered on Lothal," Ahsoka told them.

"You know we encountered an Inquisitor before, but this was nothing like that," Kanan told Ahsoka as he sat down in the seat next to Satele, "The fear, the anger, the hate. You felt it. I haven't felt a presence like that since…"

"The Clone Wars," Ahsoka finished for him.

"Yeah," he confirmed.

"The Inquisitor never sensed my affinity to the Force," Sabine added, "I wonder why."

"Maybe because you're not as powerful as I am with the Force, Sis," Satele suggested before turning to Ahsoka, "Ahsoka, do you know who or what he is?"

"No, I don't," Ahsoka said, answering Satele's question, "But I do know that he will be coming. They'll all be coming now."

"Then that's more reason for me to possess a lightsaber," Sabine told Kanan.

"I agree with my sister on that as she'll need a lightsaber of her own if there are more Inquisitors that'll start coming after us," Satele told them, "Besides we've got to be ready to fight."

"We must find the strength to fight, but the greater courage for non-Mandalorians like me, Ahsoka, Hera and Zeb is knowing when not to fight," Kanan told both of the Mandalorian twins as the cockpit's door opened to reveal Hera and Zeb.

"And we'll be beside you either way," Hera told them as she and Zeb entered the cockpit with Ahsoka smiling a bit before staring forward as she went to think about Vader again.

Vader entered the bridge of a Star Destroyer where Kallus and Konstantine were standing at a holotable inside the bridge.

"With their command ship destroyed, the rebel fleet has been shattered," Kallus told Vader, "You have them on the run…"

"Clear the bridge," Vader told him and as he said that both Kallus and Konstantine left left the area of the bridge where the holotable was with the blast door closing behind them and Vader bent down on one of his knees as a hologram of the Emperor appeared from the holotable, wearing a robe over his body, hiding his face as it was cloaked by the robes.

"Lord Vader, have you dealt with the rebels in the Lothal system?" Palpatine asked him.

"Yes, Master," Vader answered, "They are broken."

"And yet I sense in you something more to your victory," Palpatine told the Sith Lord.

"I believe the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker lives and is in league with these rebels," Vader told him.

"Are you certain?" Palpatine asked him with disbelief.

"It was her," Vader confirmed.

"This is an opportunity we cannot let pass. Skywalker's apprentice could lead us to other lost Jedi," Palpatine told him.

"Such as Kenobi," Vader suggested.

"Perhaps, if he lives. But I also sense something else to your victory," Palpatine told him.

"I sensed that two of the rebels were Mandalorian Force-Sensitives, descended from Revan," Vader told him.

"Those two Mandalorians would make great Inquisitors. But be patient, my old friend. For now, dispatch another Inquisitor to hunt them down," Palpatine told Vader.

"As you wish, my master," Vader said as he bowed before his master.
