A young woman is seen sitting at a noodle stand finishing up a bowl of noodles she appears to be sixteen with mocha-colored skin, neat, shoulder-length brown hair and is wearing: a hoodie with a white belly and purple top with the hood having cat ears with a white interior, blue jean shorts, and black slip-on shoes. The woman after eating paid for her food and upon paying for the noodles her phone starts to ring (plays chip'in by samurai) taking out her phone and seeing who's calling she smiles when she sees the caller ID and answers, "This is Noceda, talk to me Niko; my favorite fixer. What'cha got for me."

Niko replies with a serious tone, "Luz, have you been keeping up with the news in Night City."

Luz hearing the very serious tone instead of the usual dry, serious tone he normally replies with. Luz after hearing Nikos' tone also gets serious when replying, "are you referring to the new booster gangs that popped up last week, the unusually low body count this week, or even the numerous, alarm-less break-ins that have been happening for the last three months."

Niko replies to Luz still with his serious tone but with an underlying smile, "good, so, you have been keeping up with the news. Well, me and every single fixer in the whole fuck'in world and beyond; have gotten word from real high up corpo's and suits that whoever has been doing all these break-ins just stole some real new, shiny tech that was in development for apparently decades. So now every merc, gangster, and their mother wants some of that sweet, sweet organic, non-modified food; and it's worth a lot more than you could ever know."

Luz now curious asks Niko a question that could make or break this latest job, "how much is this job gonna net me."

Niko predictably knowing that was the question Luz was gonna ask replies, "nine-point nine hundred and ninety-nine trillion eddies, and the tech needs to still be in working condition so be sure to check your fire."

Luz now seeing that she could live the good life of a retired corpo whose stock gives' them all the income they'll need for the rest of their life immediately replies, "deal and I'll be sure to triple check my fire if it means getting that good life." Luz then hangs up and goes on the hunt for whoever is responsible for the alarm-less break-ins and stole some all-new tech.

Later that day

Luz enters another abandoned mega-housing block and after some searching, she finds an unlocked apartment. Entering the vacant apartment, she found it on the first floor. Luz gets herself comfortable and starts to get herself settled, then as Luz is about to get ready to change and go to sleep when she hears a hoot from behind herself. Quickly turning around Lux whips out her gun; what she sees is an owl-shaped drone that's dragging a huge cloth sack of all things with a lot of stuff in it. Luz sees this and gathers all of her effects and follows the owl drone believing that this is the best chance for her to get a lead on whoever stole the tech for her latest job.

Luz follows the owl drone for a short distance and does her best to remain undetected. Then the owl drone looks around and sees Luz and it speeds up and Luz is forced to abandon any pretense of stealth and runs to follow the drone and speeds up. As Luz chases after the owl drone, it suddenly makes a sharp turn into an apartment and Luz follows after the owl drone into the apartment.

After Luz enters the apartment the door then slams shut. The camera flashes just for it to show the inside of a tent that has a lot of junk in it, then a briefcase with a slit-eye on it unfolds into a doorway and it opens just for the owl drone with a huge cloth sack to come out. Then not far behind comes enters Luz who slowed to a halt and looks at all the junk that is around her just to say, "wow, and here I thought the Voodoo Boys had a lot of weird stuff but this…" Luz then picks up a random item and looks at it, "…this is impressive." Then Luz heard a voice from outside the tent. Looking ahead and Luz sees the owl drone outside the tent. Luz closes her eyes and shakes her head; when she finishes, she opens her eyes, drops the random item, and quickly checks how many bullets she has loaded in her gun.

When Luz counted ten bullets, she chambered a round. Then she heard a woman say, "aw, finally your back."

Luz surprised by that got ready to take aim and fire her gun and approached the tent's entrance. Just to see a grey-haired woman with the owl drone and the sack of junk. Then the owl drone got atop a wooden staff and the woman turned it and the drone appeared to have merged flawlessly with the staff and also appeared to be made of wood. After that, the grey-haired woman placed the sack of staff down under her table before she opens the sack and said, "now, let's see what we got here…"

The woman pulled out the latest phone model then tossed it after saying, "garbage" and again, after pulling out a golden ring with a 24-karat diamond, a solid-gold cup that had several intricate engravings. Then she gasped and pulled out novelty eyeglasses after putting them on the eyes hung out, and she said, "now, this…" the woman then raised her hands into the air, "…this will make me rich." As all of this was happening Luz looked on in udder disbelief with a face that said, are you kidding me; that things as valuable and pricey as the latest phone model, a golden ring with a 24-karat diamond, and a solid-gold cup that had several intricate engravings on it; were seen as worthless over a pair of fuck'in, cheap-ass novelty glasses. The woman then pulled out Luz's phone and said, "and this…" when Luz saw that she had her phone she got her gun ready by flipping off the safety, then the woman moved it over to a candle, "…well it will make for some interesting kindling."

Luz not wanting to get a new phone rushes out and grabs her phone from the woman then points her gun at the woman and says, "this is my phone and I won't let you destroy it."

The woman looks at Luz in surprise; then Luz suddenly found herself on a stool with her gun missing and the woman with her bestseller smile and without the novelty glasses on tried to sell her some of the garbage she was apparently trying to peddle off. Its when the woman tried to peddle off a mini-TV as a "black shadow box the reflects only sadness" that Luz decided that this woman wasn't who she was looking for. Luz then spoke-up with a tone of disappointment, "lady please, stop…" the woman stopped her sales pitch while still holding the mini-TV and looked at Luz expecting a sale, "… it's clear to me that you're not the person that I'm looking for nor do you have the item that I was hired to find either. (deep breath in, then long exhale) so, if you'd return my gun I'll leave this place."

The woman then looks to Luz and asks, "where do think you are, human."

Luz with a dead-pan expression looks the woman in the eyes and replies, "in a dine-gee old apartment that you decorated the entrance to make it look like the inside of a junk-filled tent; along with you wiring in a holo-projector to make the main area of the apartment look as though you walked into another world. Am I right, lady?" Luz looks at the woman who looked at Luz as though she spoke a wholly made-up language with words that were also just made-up nonsense.

The woman then spoke in a tone of disbelief with a confused expression replied, "ugh, what did you just say."

Luz knew just from the woman's tone, expression, and body language that she wasn't faking it. Luz not liking this pulls out her hold-out gun a which is a Budget arms C-13; Luz then points the gun into the air and fires. Luz doesn't hear the tell-tale ping of a bullet bouncing off or smashing through concrete a second later. That alone told Luz that she's not in an apartment or even Night City really. Luz takes a deep breath and looks the woman in her eyes and says with a straight face and a pleading tone, "what do I have to do to stay here with you."

The woman now well and truly confused by what Luz said replies by asking, "why would a human want to stay here and not want to go back to their home."

Luz still straight-faced was about to reply when a man said, "busted," and smashed the mini-TV. Both looking at who smashed the mini-TV it was a guard with a cone-shaped mask and grabs both the woman and Luz; the woman by her wrist and Luz by the hood of her clothes. The guard then said, "Eda the owl lady, you're under arrest for the misuse of magic and demonic misdemeanors, and you for fraternizing with a criminal." Eda wrenched herself free and says, "will you guys quite following me, I haven't don't squat."

Luz looking at the guard and seeing that he was distracted with Eda. Luz pockets her hold-out gun and reaching into a pocket of her hoodie and pulls out her mono-knife. With her mono-knife in hand, Luz stabbed into the guard's wrist causing him to drop her. She then punched the guard in his larynx which caused the guard to drop to the ground gasping for breath. Finally, Luz puts the knife back into her pocket so it would be concealed once more. Luz looked to Eda and said, "We should get out of here."

Eda surprised by what just happened in the span of four seconds none the less packed up her stand and grabbing Luz by her wrist and took flight on her staff.

In the air, Eda had no trouble riding her staff; however, Luz was having so much trouble that Eda had to support Luz as they flew. Once Luz was stable on the staff they flew in silence. Then a large creature that was part bird and part cat flew up beside them and breathed out spiders. Luz looked on in surprise and reached for her X-38, but Eda stopped her and shook her head, Eda then said to Luz "I saw what you did to that guard and we don't need an angry, wild griffon chasing after us." Not trusting the woman, but not wanting to try her luck; Luz reluctantly moved her hand away from her gun and settled in for the flight.

As they flew a house with a tower attached came into view. It's when the house came into view did, they descend to the ground. It's when Eda and Luz landed did Luz take notice that one of Edas' hands were still gripping onto the staff. Pointing to the hand on the staff Luz said, "Eda, your hand." Eda looking to where Luz was pointing and said, "Hugh…" then took the hand and reattached it while finishing with "…when you pointed that out I kind of expected you to freak-out." With an unamused face Luz said, "to be wholly honest here (deep breath, long exhale) I have been in scavenger chop shops and those are never a pretty sight in-fact it's quite horrifying. With all the body parts and cyberware that's lying about the place."

Eda now slightly disturbed and confused takes hold of her staff and leads the way to the house. When they get to the house the front door's ornament speaks, "hoot, hoot, password please…" then Eda pokes the ornament in both its eyes and it exclaims, "…ow!" Eda then retracts her fingers and says, "let us in hooty; we don't have time for your games."

Hooty giving a displeased look to Eda and says with an annoyed tone, "alright, alright, you never want to have any fun, ow; hoot." Hooty's' mouth then expanded and filled up the entire doorframe and both Eda ad Luz entered the house; just for hooty to retract into a door ornament and burp a little.

Inside the house, Eda holds her left hand up and says, "welcome to the owl house." After that Eda snaps her fingers and the house lights up with candles lighting up and brooms starting to clean the house. Eda continues to speak, "where I hide away from the pressures of modern life, also the cops and also ex-boyfriends. All while Luz looks around and says, "this place looks rustic yet its surprisingly nice." then Luz looks to Eda and asks, "so do you live here alone or do you live with another."

Then stomping is heard and felt through the house just as Eda answers Luzs' question with an unamused tone and expiration, "well I do have a roommate."

As the one causing the stomping got closer it got lighter and also spoke it started deep but just like the steps it got lighter, "who dares intrude upon I the king of demons." Once the one who was speaking appeared to be a short dog-like creature with a red collar and a large, golden tag, while the head appeared to be a bare horned skull with one of the horns broken, with a ducky towel wrapped around its head and waist, all while it held a rubber toy that squawked.

Luz upon seeing the creature was confused, surprised, and shocked by its cute adorableness that she gasped. Then she took a several deep breaths and calmed down. Once she was calm, she walked over and picked up the creature by the scruff of its neck and said, "Eda, what is this thing. Because it's so cute… in-fact I know some rich as fuck corpos' who'd pay a premium for a creature like this."

The creature looks at Luz and starts to try and get out of her grasp while shouting, "No, I will not be sold. Eda, who is this monster."

Eda walks over to Luz then she takes the creature and places it on the ground. Once the creature was back on the ground Eda replied to it while gesturing to Luz, "this is Luz the human. She'll be staying here if she helps us with a little situation."

The creature then lets out a happy, "hooray."

Luz then cuts in by saying, "ok, so wants the job and…" Luz then points a finger to Eda, "…no theatrics. That only ever worked on me once."

Eda walks a short distance and started to give some background on the job, "alright, King here was once a mighty king of demons until his crown of power was stolen and he became…" Eda then gestured to King at present, "…this."

Luz looked back to King and spoke, "you mean this very marketable plush toy."

King looked to Luz with a crossed expression and arms; while Eda looked as though she missed the biggest money-making scheme in history before she then snapped out of it and continued with providing background for the job, "the crown is being held by the evil warden wrath and is locked away behind a magical barrier that only a human can breakthrough a human-like you. If you help retrieve his crown then you can stay with us. So, what do ya say..." Eda then spreads out her arms and looks to Luz before she then picks up King and holds him to make him look even cuter, "…plus who could say no to this cute face."

King then squirms and says, "no, don't encourage her."

Eda then drops King and says, "I mean it's not like you have anywhere to call home, right."

Luz knowing what Eda was saying replies with a smile on her face, closed eyes, and crossed arms, "well, it looks like if I want to stay here, I don't really have a choice…" Luz then opens her eyes and holds out a hand, "…well-played Eda, well played."

Eda then lifts Luz and walks towards the door and says, "good you get it; now there's no time to lose."

Luz squirms herself and gets free and says, "you didn't even tell me where Kings' crown is being held."

Eda looks to Luz and says, "I thought did."

Luz looks at Eda with a straight face and crosses her arms before saying, "no, you didn't."

Eda takes on an uncomfortable expression and falls apart under Luz's scrutinizing gaze and tells her where the crown is being held, "a big, lovely place called the Conformatorium."

Luz upon hearing the name says, "sounds like a prison, which means if this heist is going to succeed, we'll need a fourth member." Luz then looks around the house and sees mounted on the wall two rotor blades and she gets an idea. Taking down the rotor blades Luz asks, "Eda do you have more human stuff in this place."

Eda surprised by this asks and replies with, "why."

Luz looks Eda in her eyes and says, "because I'm gonna make our fourth member. Now go I'll need whatever you can find that is useable."

Eda looked to Luz in thought but in the end said, "sorry, but we gotta get going if we're to get the crown before the conformatorium gets fresh guards clocked-in."

Luz lets out a sigh and says to Eda, "alright, but if this heist goes south it's on you.

Eda opens the door and looks to Luz and smirks before getting on her staff with King following right behind. Its once Luz gets on the staff that they took off towards the conformatorium prison.

They flew to the conformatorium which was a prison with high walls, a moat of churning and writhing razor teeth, and a single tower that appeared to be over twenty stories tall. They landed outside the prison, then Luz said while looking at the prison, "well this will be fun." Luz then looks to Eda and asks, "so why is this place the conformatorium."

Eda looks to Luz and replies, "It's where those considered unsuitable for society are imprisoned."

Luz then sees a poster depicting both Eda and King but in a stylized manner and says, "wow, whoever made these clearly have no idea how to make a wanted poster." Before she takes the poster off the wall and stashes it in her satchel.

Eda then says, "Hey, I won't argue with you on that whoever made these posters they are not flattering at all."

King then says, "All right enough talk about poster art, Luz. You and I will sneak to the top of the tower. That's where they're keeping my crown."

Eda then steps in and says, "while you're doing that, I'll make sure that the warden is distracted."

Luz looking at both of them then says, "alright well guess my hoodie may just see some action after all along with my mask." Luz then reaches into the satchel and pulls out a breathing mask and removes the air filter and puts it on; then she pulls up her hood and flicks up the cat ears.

Eda ad King look at Luz for a little bit then Eda says, "well you'll fit right in."

Eda then slams her staff on the ground creating a platform that then lifts both Luz and King up to a window. Luz picks up King and while holding onto King gets a running start and jumps into the window landing on her feet and placing King on the floor.

King looks at Luz in amazement and says, "how did you just do that whole jump into a window thing."

Luz taking out her X-38 then points it to the ground and says while slightly muffled through the mask, "years of getting shot at and having to delve for cover for starters and not wanting to die for another. Now come on let's get your crown o' king of demons."

Luz seeing the inside of the tower doesn't act surprised at the sight. Luz and King then proceed through the prison when Luz heard someone talk. Luz taken by surprise points her gun to the source just to see a woman with dark hair, pointed ears, green eyes, and fangs. Luz upon seeing her and deciding she wasn't a danger to the heist, decides to proceed to the top of the tower with King. While the woman continues to call out to her and King.

Then stomping steps are heard and felt, however, they are much heavier than the ones make by King when Luz first entered the owl house. Luz keeping her cool grabs King and ducks into an empty cell and closes the door. Once the door is shut Luz grabs King and does her best to hide in one of the cells' furthest corners. A door opens and they hear someone talk with a deep raspy voice, "I can hear you." The person then walks into the hallway and Luz sees that he's wearing a plague mask, a white overcoat, black pants, and hood with brown boots; while the man's skin is a purple-grey coloration. Luz still keeping her cool doesn't make a sound. Then the man talks again, "just what are you fools whispering about." Then the man looks down to see a wanted poster of Eda and says with a very subtle undertone of affection that no one but Luz picks up, "ah, the owl lady." Raising his hand that held the poster it changes into a hammer; he then slams his now changed hand against the cell's door bending bars to the cell that Luz and King were hiding in. The man then says with just as much subtle affection, "I'll get my hands on her soon enough, just wait and see."

Then some little creature says, "fight against the oppressor." This gets the man's attention and he drops the poster and walks over to the next cell from Luz and Kings while the creature keeps saying anti-oppression slogans. The sound of a cell is heard then the creature says, "hurray, I'm free," then a high-pitched squeak is heard from the creature.

The man then says, "let this be a warning to all of you; you have no place in society if you can't fit in." then another high-pitched squeak is heard and the man leaves the cells. All this while Luz and King watched the man walked past Luz and King's cell with a small, ginger-haired, and big-nosed creature. As the man left, he stepped on the crumbled-up poster then the sound of a door closing is heard.

Luz and King go up to the cell door and seeing that the man is gone and there are no guards Luz opens the cell door; and with King on her shoulder, she runs towards contraband holding.

In the hallway that leads to contraband holding Luz takes off her mask and places it back in her bag with her gun; as she follows King who is now on the ground and walking towards contraband holding. Eda flew in beside Luz and says, "Hey, I just checked…" Eda then gets off her staff and finishes with "…the warden is distracted tormenting some tiny creature."

Luz looks to Eda with a curious expression and asks, "why are they in here." Eda looks at Luz with a confused look. Luz let out a sigh and clarified what she said, "what I mean is this small creature with a big nose who was is a cell was spewing anti-authority slogans then this big guy who I now think is the warden entered the area, opened its cell, grabbed it, then carried it off." Luz looks Eda straight in her eyes and asks with a serious tone, "what did those people do to be locked up."

Eda takes an uncomfortable posture while Luz continues to look Eda straight in her eyes. Eventually, Eda gives and explains to Luz, "look warden Wrath is the one whos' been locking up anyone who he deems as unfit for society…" Eda then lists off things that warden Wrath doesn't like, "folks who: eat their own eyes, write stories about food falling in love, falling for conspiracy theories-."

Before Eda could continue Luz stopped her by saying, "alright two of those are not even remotely unfit for society. Though the writing stories about food falling in love I'm not so sure about."

Before Eda could reply to Luz they both heard a bang then a grunt. Looking to the source they saw King trying to open the door to a room with the word contraband in plain text on the door itself. As Eda and Luz approached, they see that King just tore off the doorknob, then he opened the door and ran into the room. Eda then said, "c'mon let's get in there before he hurts himself."

When Luz and Eda entered the room, they saw King running and hitting his head against a green barrier, and each time it knocks him back. It's when Eda steps behind King and says, "we have a human with us. One who can pass through the barrier, remember."

King upon realizing this says, "oh yah."

Luz taking that as her queue steps up to the barrier and passes through. Upon passing through the barrier Luz sees a lot of junk that should be in a dump. Luz looking around and through all the junk finds several things that would be useful and takes them. Eventually, Luz finds what could be Kings' crown atop the tallest pile of junk and climbs up the pile. When Luz gets to the top of the junk pile and sees what the crown is made from, she immediately becomes crossed. Luz none the less grabs the "crown" and exits the barrier causing it to collapse.

Luz walks up to King and gives him the crown, King then put it on and says excitedly, "yes, yes I can feel my powers returning." King then points to something in the junk piles and says, "you, there nightmare critter I shall call you François and you shall be a minion in my army of darkness." Then King lets out a laugh.

Luz walks up to Eda and says, "We risked our lives for a poorly made, paper crown that probably came from a fast-food joint…" Luz then took several deep breaths before continuing, "…why did we do this for a dime a dozen paper crown."

Eda looks to Luz who's scowling at Eda with her arms crossed. Eda lets out a sigh and says, "look at us Luz; King and I don't have much in this world. We only have each other and if the cheap, paper crown is important to him, then well it's important to me. Besides us weirdos' have to stick together, ya know." Eda finishes with a smile.

Luz drops her scowl and now looks to Eda with a great amount of respect at how far Edas' willing to go for a friend. This causes Luz to think back to all those who she called a friend in her past only to realize they were all acquaintances who worked with her because they had a shared interest or needed help on a job. Luz returned her attention to Eda to see a large shadowy figure walk up behind Eda raised its right arm just for the hand to change shape into a blade; swing the changed hand to blade it separating Edas' head from her body just for Luz to catch Edas' head. Luz looking down and realizing she's holding Edas' head then it spoke saying, "ow! Oh, I hate it when that happens." This causes Luz to let out a scream because a severed head should not be capable of speech at all.

Luz after screaming says with a horrified tone, "Eda, how are you even still alive after that."

Eda using only her eyes somehow looks at Luz and says, "oh, well it's complicated and I'll explain it to you if we manage to get out of here."

Luz replies in a whispered tone, "actually, I am counting on getting out of here one way or another."

The man who cut off Edas' head then changes his blade back into a hand while speaking, "finally, I have you cornered Eda the owl lady…" as the man approached, he grabs King's crown and continues to approach while King tries to get his crown back, "…my guards could never get you but I know that if I took your pets toy that you'd come running for it."

The man then crushed the crown in his hand causing King you yell out, "no…" then he fell to his knees and cried, "my power."

Eda then said while still being held by Luz, "what do you even want with me I've never even broken any of your stupid laws…" Eda paused thinking back to the day's actions, "…in-front of you."

The man then takes a step closed and says, "I want you…" the man then gets on one knee and takes out a bouquet of flowers, "…to go out with me."

Eda and Luz both say at the same time with confusion, "what?"

Then someone behind the man calls out, "you go, boss."

The man then continues speaking this time with clear and evident desire in his voice, "you've always eluded our capture. You've always been the one who got away. I found that alluring."

Luz with everything she's been through, seen, and done couldn't help but say with absolute disgust and horror in her voice and on her face, "I hate everything you just said right now."

The man then tosses the flowers to the side and changes his right hand into a mass of tentacles and suspends Luz in the air. The man then says while lifting Edas' head into the air, "so how about it owl lady; the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles and the feared warden Wrath. We'd be the strongest power couple ever…" Eda then took on an expression of fearful disgust, "…I mean it's not like you can say no right now."

Eda looks up to see Luz is struggling to get out of warden Wraths grip. Eda looks in the other direction to see one of warden Wrath's guards holding King who also struggles but to get out of the guards' grasp. Eda lets out a sigh that Luz knows is fake and says, "I'd just like to say something first." Eda then has warden Wrath so hold her closer and closer until he was holding her only a few inches from his face then she blew a raspberry in his face.

This causes warden Wrath to drop Luz who falls to the floor, while Eda laughs at warden Wrath as he wipes his face. After warden Wrath finishes wiping off his face, he says with a fury that quickly shifts to disgust, "impudent wench, don't you know know how many germs are in your mouth."

Luz now free sneaks over and retrieves Edas' staff while Eda has warden Wrath's full attention.

Eda replies with a less than pleased tone that had an undertone of fury, "get over it you've had your guards stalk me, then you cut off my head. I am not going out with you."

Luz after collecting Edas' staff sneaks behind warden Wrath and gets ready to nail him on the head.

Warden Wrath then replies with slight fury, "if you don't accept then I have no choice but to destroy-" before warden Wrath could finish Luz nailed him on the head knocking him out.

Eda who's head now on the ground says in a proud tone, "nice."

Then two guards step up to Edas' head with one of them holding King. However, behind the guards, Edas' body pulled their hoods over their heads and hooked them on the guard's masks making causing the one guard who was holding King to release him. Luz then grabbed Edas' head while Edas' body grabbed King. Once Luz, King, and both parts of Eda were free they then mounted Edas' staff and Luz tried several cheesy magic lines before Eda just said, "gun it magic stick." And just like that, they took off; however, warden Wrath wouldn't give up on Eda so easily and used his arms to give chase.

As they flew Luz looked back for a moment and saw that warden Wrath was chasing after them. Luz looking back to the forward again saw several cells that were occupied and she got an idea and said, "Eda give me a hand." And as they flew past the occupied cells they were opened. Luz, Eda, and King then exited the main prison and flew down into a courtyard with warden Wrath still hot on their trail. Warden Wrath then used his arms in an attack that caused the staff to lose balance and launched Luz, Eda, and King forward onto the ground.

Luz, King, and Eda who reattached her head to her body get back up. Eda reaches into her hair and pulls out a key and gives it to Luz then says, "Luz, go back to the house and stay safe."

Luz looks to Eda and says, "what about you and King."

Before King goes to help Eda fight warden Wrath he says to Luz, "if you thought this guy was bad you should have seen her last boyfriend."

Eda hearing what King just said calls back, "not my boyfriend." Eda then grabs King and jumps away from the warden who slams his shape-changing hands into the ground. Eda goes back to Luz and grabbing her staff mounts Luz to it while yelling, "go" repeatedly before then hitting the tail end causing the staff to unfurl its wings and take flight.

Once Luz was in the air warden Wrath takes off his mask to reveal two small beady eyes, no nose, and a mouth with large teeth. Opening his mouth warden Wrath launched a fire attack; which Eda sent back launching warden Wrath into a wall. Getting back up warden Wrath shifted his hands back into blades and rushed back in to fight Eda and King.

Luz in the air watched warden Wrath shift his hands into blades to fight Eda and King. Its when he left did Luz see the hole in the wall that leads to the cells; as warden Wrath left the hole Luz saw three prisoners looking out of the hole and to the fight that was going on, and they weren't making a break to escape. Luz does her best to orientate the flying staff and after a little bit of experimentation got the too staff to descend to the hole in the wall.

When Luz lands and dismounts from the staff she asks, "why are you lot just standing there. This is the perfect chance for you to escape from this place."

A tall light green, guy with way too many eyes replies, "the warden will just catch us he always does."

Then the woman with pointed ears continues with, "we belong here."

Finally, the short, big-nosed creature that now sported a black eye finishes with, "self-doubt is a prison you can never escape from." Before looking down to the ground.

Luz after hearing what the prisoners just said she got pissed then said, "the fuck is wrong with you don't you see this is your chance to riot against the fucker who unjustly locked you up. So, are you just going to go back into a cell and let the bastard destroy what makes you unique, or are you going to riot and fight the jackass who without a reasonable warrant no less had you imprisoned for something that's not even a crime?" Luz then points to warden Wrath who had pinned Eda and King who were both hugging each other.

The prisoners after hearing Luz's speech and seeing warden Wrath about to harm two now defenseless foes charged at warden Wrath and proceeded to fight him. The big guy pushed warden Wrath, while the short creature made warden Wrath trip other it while saying, "I think the world is a triangle." Next, the pointed eared girl got atop him and shoved a book in his mouth, before finally, the big guy tied Wraths arms together.

Luz then appeared in-front of Wrath and says while pointing at him, "warden Wrath, you really should re-evaluate what constitutes as a crime…" Luz then reaches into her bag and pulls out 5 grenades, "…now it's time that you cleaned up your act." The prisoners upon seeing the grenades and what Luz said run toward Eda and King, picking them up and getting behind Luz just as she threw the five grenades to warden Wrath sans pins. It's when then grenades went off did warden Wrath feel as though, he was on fire and proceeded to run away with his screams of pain being muffled by the book in his mouth.

The now freed prisoners cheered at being freed, then Luz felt someone touch her shoulder looking over to see it was Eda; while King was on her shoulder then King said, "that was actually, one of Eda's better breakups."

Then Eda said with a frown, "not a breakup. Anyway, let's bounce before any more monsters fall in love with me." And just like that Luz, Eda, King mounted on to Eda's staff and took flight heading back to the owl house.

Once back at the owl house Eda places her staff against the couch and says, "well a deal's a deal; but are you certain you want to stay here. Don't you have anyone waiting for you back in the human realm?" Eda then snaps her fingers and the key flies out of Luz's bag before the doorway unfolds.

Luz looks at it before looking to the mirror then pulling out her tablet and looking at the cover of the good solo Azura book five. Then Luz pulls out a photo of herself as a newborn and her mom before she then places a hand over her stomach. Luz then puts away her tablet and photo; and with her hands crossed over her still flat chest and says to Eda, "yes, I'm sure; because back in the human realm I have no future. However, here I have a future to look forward to without fear of if today will be the day that I die or will my child survive to also have children."

Eda not surprised picks up King and says, "well I could always use the help as well as keeping this goofball out of the cupboards. Besides you also need to pull your own weight around here if you're going to stay."

Luz then smirks and says, "I was planning on doing that anyway."

Eda then points upstairs and says, "alright, now go look for a room sleep in. When you find one just let me know tomorrow." Eda then left to go to the kitchen.

Luz now feeling the call of sleep went upstairs and looked for a room. Upon opening the first door to her left she found a large room and took it for her room. Laying out her sleeping bag and taking off her hoodie showed a tank top, next to were her shorts which revealed violet panties, finally taking off her shoes displayed white socks with black soles. After changing into her sleep-ware Luz laid down on the sleeping bag, but before she could close her eyes King entered and said while holding a toy animal and sounding like a child, "your sleep cocoon looks fluffy."

Luz finding what King said kind of cute patted the sleeping bag. King got himself comfortable and Luz quickly found herself falling asleep.

The camera pans out from Luz to the front of the owl house with the large stained glass window being the most prominent feature before it blinks and the screen cuts to black. (que the owl house outro)
