"Vaux, you're picking up our fighter parts in the market," Hera told one of her fellow rebels as she stood in front of two of her fellow rebels with a datapad in her hand as they stood in front of the Ghost's ramp as it was docked inside one of Garel's landing bays as Sabine and Satele walked down the Ghost's ramp with their helmets under their arms as Chopper followed them, "The crates are labeled 'Ronto Meat.' And watch out for Imperial troops. They've increased patrols. Good luck."
"You said you had another mission," Satele told Hera as she, Sabine and Chopper approached Hera, "What do you want us to do?"
"There's a courier coming in who has secret information," Hera told both Mandalorians, "I need both of you to pick him up and transport him to Havok outpost."
"Sounds easy enough," Sabine told Hera.
"Yeah, Sabine's right, Hera. That sounds simple that someone like Kanan should do it rather than us," Satele said, agreeing with her twin sister.
"If it was easy, then I'd send someone other than you two," Hera explained to them, "This information is important. We have to get it through. You both should keep a low profile."
"Don't worry. You can trust us," Sabine reassured Hera, "What's this courier look like?"
"I don't know, but they'll respond to this code phrase," Hera told her as she clicked on her datapad, causing Sabine's armor's control pad to beep as it received the code phrase from Hera's datapad.
"Got it," Sabine told Hera as both she and Satele placed their helmets over their heads.
"One more thing, you both should take Chopper with you in case you both run into trouble," Hera told them.
"Do we have to?" Satele asked Hera, not wanting to bring Chopper along with them.
"He's the only one available who could provide both of you backup," Hera explained to her.
"Fine, we'll take the bucket of bolts with us," Satele told Hera, relenting as she and Sabine walked away from Hera with Chopper following them.
"Do you think any of our relatives could use the Force like we can, Sis?" Sabine asked Satele as they left the landing bay that the Ghost was docked within with Chopper following them.
"You mean someone like Tristan?" Satele asked her.
"Exactly. I suspect he is somewhat able to use the Force like us," Sabine said, confirming her sister's suspicions.
"Anyway, I'm thinking of creating my own sect of the Jedi Order stationed on Mandalore after we overthrow the Empire," Satele told Sabine, "Would you want to join if I do start my own sect of the Jedi Order after we overthrow the Empire, Sis?"
"Depends on what your Jedi Order's ideology would be," Sabine answered her.
"It would be a mixture of the Jedi of old and our warrior heritage," Satele said, explaining what her sect of the Jedi Order would be to her twin sister.
"Then I would love to join your sect of the Jedi Order," Sabine told Satele as she turned around towards a wall nearby and saw a graffiti pattern that looked like a mixture of the letters E and F but with one of its lines extending outwards with the symbol being colored yellow while the graffiti's background was painted orange and as she saw the graffiti pattern, she began to walk towards it as it looked familiar to her and removed her helmet and placed it under her arm.
"What is that, Sis?" Satele asked Sabine as she noticed the graffiti pattern that Sabine was standing in front of.
"Nothing," Sabine answered before placing her helmet back over her head as she began to walk away from the graffiti pattern.
"Garel Shuttle 3765 from Coruscant has arrived in bay 22," a man's voice said on the spaceport's intercom.
"So, how do we find this courier?" Satele asked her sister.
"Sis, the code phrase is, It's a long way to Alderaan," Sabine told Satele
"I think it's this guy," Satele said, referring to a Rodian that was passing by, "Hey. It's a long way to Alderaan."
"Okay," the Rodian said, clearly confused on why she told him that.
"It's a long way to Alderaan," Sabine told a red haired human female about an hour or so after Satele told the rodian the same thing.
"It's a long way to Alderaan," Satele said as the same woman her sister spoke to walked by her before the woman walked away in a different direction.
"It's a long way to Alderaan," Sabine sighed as a dark skinned human woman walked past her.
"It's a long way to Alderaan," Satele said to a human woman with brown hair who was walking by and just ignored her.
"Hanger 22 is now closed," the man's voice on the intercom said in basic as well as a few other languages hours later.
"It's gonna be a long way back to the Ghost if we miss the courier," Satele said as she sat on top of a powered down Gonk droid.
"We couldn't have, Sis. Hera had confirmation he boarded the shuttle," Sabine reassured her sister, "Are you sure you were saying the code phrase right?"
"Yes, yes. It's a long way to Alderaan," Satele stated, but as she said that the Gonk droid she was sitting on suddenly powered up, "What's the matter with this thing?"
"Wait a minute, Sis. That is the courier," Sabine realized before approaching the Gonk droid as Satele hopped off of the droid, "Talk about a low profile. He came in with the cargo payload." She bent down to see the droid's identification number, "He's unit EG-86."
"Nice to meet you, EG," Satele said to the Gonk droid as Chopper approached the Gonk droid, "I don't get why they'd hide such important information in this binary box brain."
"Well, would you suspect that thing of being a spy full of secrets?" Sabine asked her.
"Mmm, no. I guess not," Satele said, thinking about it as she crossed her arms.
"That's too bad," they suddenly heard a feminine voice say and turned around to see a woman in mandalorian styled bounty hunter armour standing above them on a building. before jumping down before them, "Because I would."
"Ketsu Onyo," Sabine said, identifying her as she recognized the woman in Mandalorian styled bounty hunter armour, "I saw your mark, old friend."
"Friend? That's a generous term considering what happened," Ketsu said with confusion.
"Uh, Sis, you know her?" Satele said with confusion.
"Still a bounty hunter, I see," Sabine stated as she examined Ketsu's armour.
"Tell me you don't miss it," Ketsu told her.
"Sabine, can you please tell me where you know her from?" Satele asked her twin sister
"She's the one who helped me escape the Imperial Academy on Mandalore and left me for dead soon afterwards, Sis," Sabine explained to her sister, "But I don't think Ketsu's here for a reunion."
"You know me well," Ketsu told Sabine with confirmation, "I'm just here for the droid."
Chopper suddenly grunted with confusion, not knowing which droid Ketsu was talking about.
"Not you, Chop. Him," Satele reassured Chopper, referring to the Gonk droid before turning to her sister, "So, Sis, why did she leave you for dead?"
"It's because she got all greedy and left me for dead," Sabine explained to Satele
"You'd have been better off dead than joining this band of rebels," Ketsu laughed, "I didn't believe it until I saw the Empire put a bounty on both of you, which is how I learned that you had a Sister, Sabine."
"You gonna try to collect on it?" Sabine asked her.
"Haven't decided yet," Ketsu answered, "Besides, I work for the Black Sun now and I have another job to finish first."
"I can't let you do that," Sabine told her.
"How about we all relax before…" Satele told both her sister and Ketsu as a Mandalorian standoff began to occur.
"You there," a stormtrooper Commander began as he and a group of stormtroopers began to approach the three Mandalorians.
"That happens," Satele muttered to herself.
"Citizens, what's going on here?" the Stormtrooper commander inquired, "There's a curfew on this hanger. You need to leave immediately."
"Don't interrupt us!" Ketsu exclaimed before taking out a blaster before firing at them, Sabine did the same as she and Satele took cover behind different container boxes before grabbing an EMP grenade from one of her armor's bags and threw it at one of the stormtroopers and as it fell on the ground in front of one of the stormtroopers, an electromagnetic pulse erupted from the EMP grenade, causing the stormtrooper to be knocked unconscious as Ketsu hid behind the same one Sabine was at but from a different corner and Sabine began shooting the Stormtroopers with her WESTAR-35 before hiding back down behind the container, "Nice shot. Haven't lost your touch." As Ketsu complimented her, she stood up and began firing back at the stormtroopers.
"Good thing you haven't either," Sabine complimented her former friend as Ketsu hid back down behind the container.
"Stay here," Satele ordered Chopper as she took her WESTAR-35 out and began firing at the stormtroopers, who began to hide as more stormtroopers rushed in before she quickly hid back down, "Okay, change of plans, Chop. Get Boxy here onto that shuttle." Chopper grunted in confirmation and began trying to get EG-86 onto the shuttle as Satele continued to use her WESTAR-35s on the stormtroopers. Sabine and Ketsu soon moved to different containers to use for cover as Satele looked up and saw EG-86 hopping as it boarded a shuttle, "Sabine! Go!"
With that said, Sabine took off for the shuttle, while Satele continued to shoot the stormtroopers with Ketsu doing the same before climbing into the shuttle after her sister did the same.
"I'm sorry, but there are no more flights scheduled for this evening," the shuttle's RX- series pilot droid informed Sabine as she hacked into the Shuttle's computer system via the shuttle's keyboard-like device on both sides of the shuttle's dashboard, "If you contact…"
"Yeah, I don't have time for a ticket," Sabine told the pilot droid, "Chopper, shut him down and take over."
"That is unacceptable," the pilot droid said as Chopper went over to the shuttle's astromech port next to him and plugged his scomp link into it, "This is my ship, and I will not take no for an…" The pilot droid shut down before he could finish his sentence and the shuttle began to lift off of the ground with Satele shooting back at the stormtrooper at the doorway with her WESTAR-35s.
"Bet you're glad we brought backup, Sis," Satele said as she looked at her sister.
"Yeah, it's working out great," Sabie said, agreeing with her, "Exactly as planned. Now, hang on!"
Satele continued to fire upon the stormtroopers as the shuttle began to fly higher but soon one of the stormtroopers blaster bolts' hit the shuttle, right next to where she was standing, causing her to run inside the shuttle before she had any chance of falling off the shuttle.
"There's no escape. We have you surrounded," the stormtroopers said as they surrounded and pointed their blaster rifles at Ketsu.
"Hello, boys. I'm afraid this has all been a terrible misunderstanding," Ketsu said with her hands up.
"One that you're gonna answer for. Now drop your weapons," the stormtrooper behind her told her before realizing that she was up to something, "Don't do it."
"Do what?" She asked before grabbing her staff-like sword from her back before swinging it at the stormtrooper behind her, "This?" She grabbed the stormtrooper as she began to use his body as a human shield before using her blaster to fire on the stormtrooper that was in front of her.
"What the…" Another stormtrooper said with surprise before throwing the stormtrooper that she using using as a human shield at him before using her staff-like sword on the stormtrooper that she used as a human shield, causing his blaster rifle to slide across the ground and swung her staff-like sword at one of the Stormtrooper before running off.
"Hey!" A stormtrooper commander yelled as he ran after her as she jumped onto a shuttle before jumping onto him and hit him with her staff-like sword as she yelled with a battle cry, but just then one of the stormtroopers pushed her towards a wall and began to punch her, to which he missed her and she punched back before grabbing him and pushed him towards the shuttle next to them, she then immediately kicked her staff-like sword up before grabbing it and placed on her back before noticing a shuttle taking off.
"Uh, no, no… No, no, no!" The stormtrooper she pushed onto the side of a shuttle yelled before she used her staff-like sword to jump onto the shuttle that was not in service before hopping onto the shuttle that was lifting off before hopping off the shuttle back onto the building she jumped down from earlier.
"Where did she go?" One of the stormtroopers asked, touching his helmet as he regained consciousness.
"I don't know," the other stormtrooper answered, touching his helmet as they stood up before seeing a Lancer-class pursuit craft taking off before he turned around as he walked away, "Bounty hunter scum. Garel's crawling with them."
"Satele, check the scanner for any ship that might be coming after us, Chop, program the Hyperdrive. We need those rendezvous coordinates," Sabine ordered both her sister and Chopper as she piloted the shuttle as she sat down in the shuttle's pilot seat with her sister sitting next to her in the shuttle's co-pilot's seat.
"Will do, Sis," Satele told Sabine as she approached the ship's scanner as Chopper grunted a response as she plugged his scomp link into the shuttle's astromech port.
"We got lucky to get away so easily," Sabine added with relief.
"You spoke too soon, Sabine," Satele told her as she checked the shuttle's scanner and saw a ship heading towards them on the scanner as the shuttle's alarms went off, "There's a Lancer-class pursuit craft following us."
"Ketsu," Sabine muttered as Ketsu's ship began to open fire on the shuttle with one of its laser cannons hitting the shuttle's thrusters, disabling its ability to jump into Hyperspace, "She knocked out our Hyperdrive, which means I bet what her next move. Chopper, EG, you both better lock yourselves down."
"So, what's her next move?" Satele asked Sabine, wanting to know what was next so she could prepare for it.
"Basically her next move is most likely to blast off the shuttle's door in order for everything in this ship to be sucked into the vacuum of space," Sabine explained to her.
"So, it's probably a good thing that my armor's boots can magnetically lock themselves to the floor when there is little gravity inside a ship," Satele told her sister.
"Seriously? Your boots can magnetically lock themselves to the floor when there is little gravity?" Sabine asked her with confusion and disbelief.
"Let's talk about this later," Satele told her when one of the laser cannons of Ketsu's ship blew open the shuttle's door.
"Too late!" Sabine cried as the shuttle's console sparked with electricity as both Mandaloroans fell to the floor before Sabine grabbed onto the back of the ship's pilot's seat as Satele's boots magnetically locked to the floor as she stood back up and slowly began to walk towards the door's force field controls when EG-86 was flown towards the door and blocked the door with his body as he was blocking the door with his side as Sabine let go of the pilot's seat as the gravity from the vacuum of space was too strong as she landed behind EG-86 on his side.
"Chopper!" Both Sabine and Satele cried as they saw Chopper be flown out of the shuttle into the vacuum of space.
"Satele, hurry up and activate the door's force field!" Sabine ordered her sister as she continued to slowly approach the door's force field's controls.
"I'm almost there," Satele told Sabine as she neared the door's force field's controls and soon pressed a red button next to the door, causing a blue colored force field to materialize around the shuttle's door as her boot's magnetic lock feature was disabled as both Sabine and EG-86 fell onto the floor as the shuttle's gravity returned to normal.
As Chopper floated through space, he grunted as he activated his rocket booster and stared at both the shuttle and Ketsu's Lancer-class pursuit craft before flying towards them.
"Next time we steal a ship, it'll be one with guns," Sabine said as she removed her helmet from her head after she and Satele helped EG-86 back up from the floor on his side before walking back towards the shuttle's cockpit.
"Gar serim, Sabine," Satele said, agreeing with her twin sister in Mando'a as she followed her as she removed her helmet from her head as well and placed it under her arm before they heard a beeping sound from the shuttle's dashboard console as Ketsu's Lancer-class pursuit craft stood still in front of the shuttle.
"Sabine, I think your friend wants to have a chat with us," Satele told Sabine.
"I suspected that as well, Sis," Sabine told her as she activated the shuttle's holocommunicator as a holographic image of Ketsu appeared in front of them from the shuttle's holocommunications systems.
"No hard feelings, Sabine and you too, Satele. It's not personal or against any of your family, just business. And speaking of business, here's the deal… Toss out the power droid, and I'll let the both of you live," Ketsu told both Sabine and Satele.
"And if we refuse?" Satele asked her.
"I'll blow up the shuttle and scoop up my bounty as well as both of you from the debris and hand both of you into the Empire and will be paid 10 thousand credits for bringing both of you in," Ketsu told both Sabine and Satele as they saw Chopper fly onto the top of Ketsu's ship before staring at one another for a split second before turning back towards Ketsu.
"I don't believe it," Sabine told Ketsu.
"You better believe it. I'll do whatever it takes to complete my mission," Ketsu warned them.
"No, she means that she can't believe you could kill us," Satele told Ketsu.
"Maybe that's true, but I've changed more than you realize. I have new loyalties now," Ketsu told them as Chopper pulled one of the cables from her ship's top cannon out and tossed it aside before continuing and pulling out the rest of the cables.
"Right. Finally part of Black Sun," Sabine said with disgust in her voice.
"Just like we always dreamed," Ketsu added with confirmation, "I got the best weapons, best ship, and I'm feared across the galaxy."
"Ugh. I can't believe I wanted that," Sabine told Ketsu as she turned away from her and Satele for a second before turning back to Ketsu, "The Black Sun are Slavers and assassins who don't care about anything but body counts and quotas. They'd kill you too, for a profit."
"Speaking of which, your time is up. Now hand over the droid," Ketsu ordered both Sabine and Satele as EG-86 shuddered in fear as Chopper pulled out another of the cables to the guns on top of Ketsu's ship before going back to pull out the final cable to the ship's guns.
"You can't do it," Sabine told Ketsu.
"I really wish it hadn't come to this, old friend," Ketsu apologized before clicking the buttons on her ship's control stick, causing the gun cannon on top of the ship to move a bit before tilting downwards, surprising Ketsu, "What?" She then tried clicking the buttons again before she heard Chopper laughing and saw him as he appeared above the ship's window over the cockpit with the third and final cable to the gun cannon in his hand, "You? That's my weapons array! What have you done?"
"So long, old friend," Sabine told Ketsu as she pushed the shuttle's control stick forward, causing the shuttle to move forward, flying over Ketsu's Lancer-class pursuit craft with Chopper activating his rocket booster as it flew past Ketsu's ship and began to fly towards the shuttle as Ketsu turned her ship around.
"We'll hold her steady. Just get him inside," Satele told EG-86 as she co-piloted the shuttle with Sabine as she opened the shuttle's cargo bay hatch with EG-86 standing behind it as Chopper neared the hatch as EG-86 hopped on his feet as Chopper was rapidly approaching the hatch.
"Oh, no you don't," Ketsu said from her ship as she saw Chopper getting closer to the shuttle before clicking a button on her ship's dashboard before touching the center of her ship's control stick, causing Chopper to be pulled back towards Ketsu's Lancer-class pursuit craft before he grunted as his booster soon deactivated before he turned around as he faced Ketsu's Lancer-class pursuit craft and covered his eyes with his arms from his dome as he was pulled closer and closer towards the Lancer-class pursuit craft.
"Where's Chopper?" Sabine asked EG-86 as the Gonk droid entered the shuttle's cockpit and started grunting as he made a sound that sounded like the word 'Gonk', "Calm down. What are you saying?" He continued to grunt, letting her know that Ketsu had captured Chopper.
"What? Ketsu's kidnapped Chopper?" Satele said with disbelief before turning to Sabine, "What are we going to do, Sis?"
"What we'll do is 'trade' EG-86 for Chopper," Sabine explained to Satele before flying the shuttle towards Ketsu's Lancer-class pursuit craft and activated the ship's communications system, "All right, Ketsu. Let's make a trade."
"I'll extend the docking ramp and get your little friend ready," Ketsu said from her ship as she got off from and walked away from the ship's pilot's seat and jumped down a hatch in her ship landing on her feet inside the docking bay behind Chopper, who started grunting at her as he turned around before she took her staff-like sword out and pointed it at him, causing him to make a sound that sounded like 'Uh-oh,' "I had a feeling she wouldn't leave you. She was always soft. I expect her sister, Satele is as well"
Sabine pressed a few buttons from the shuttle's dashboard as the shuttle stopped as it moved right next to the Lancer-class pursuit craft and released a docking bridge which connected with Ketsu's docking bay.
"Satele, stay here and watch out for any Imperial ships that might see us," Sabine told her twin sister as she walked towards the shuttle's docking ramp.
"Try anything, and I'll disintegrate you," Ketsu warned Chopper as the shuttle's docking bridge finished connecting with the Lancer-class pursuit craft and soon Sabine appeared in the docking ramp's doorway.
"Stay here," Sabine ordered EG-86 as she walked through the bridge from the shuttle.
"Well, well," Ketsu said as she walked through the bridge from her ship with Chopper following behind her, "While I've changed, it seems you haven't changed at all." She then noticed that EG-86 was still on the shuttle, "You're not giving up the courier, are you?"
"Nope," Sabine confirmed, "You're gonna have to take him."
"And this astromech… Not very smart, sticking your neck out for it," Ketsu said, walking forward a bit as she crossed her arms.
"Chopper's more than a droid. He's a Rebel and a friend," Sabine told her, causing Chopper to grunt happily.
"Oh, Sabine," Ketsu said before taking her helmet off, revealing that she was a dark skinned woman with hair only on top of her head, purple eyes and a red tattoo that went into a circle with a smaller circle within it as it went around the back of her head along with lines that went towards the front of her head but ended as it reached above her ears, "We were once friends. Tell you what. Give me the power droid, and I'll share my cut with you and your sister. Like the old days."
"I don't do things just for money anymore and Satele wouldn't want your money as she seems to have more honor than to earn credits without doing anything to earn it," Sabine told Ketsu.
"That's right. Now there's the cause," Ketsu said as she turned around before turning back around, "You really think your little rebel group can overthrow the Empire and free Mandalore from their rule? Grow up, little sister. You and your sister both can't be that foolish."
"As I recall we were once almost like sisters," Sabine reminded Ketsu, "But… We only cared about ourselves."
"It's called survival," Ketsu explained to her, "You of all people, should know you can't trust people."
"I forgive you," Sabine suddenly admitted.
"For what?" Ketsu asked with confusion.
"For leaving me for dead," Sabine explained, "And I still trust you. Given enough time, Satele would too."
"And you're wrong," Ketsu said, not believing her.
"I met people who gave me a second chance in life, and that's what I'm giving you," Sabine told her.
"Imperial cruiser to Garel Shuttle 63725," an Imperial officer said over the shuttle's communications system a few seconds later, "Your craft has been identified as stolen. Prepare to be boarded."
"Looks like we're friends again," Sabine told Ketsu.
"Don't have much of a choice," Ketsu explained before they ran into the shuttle with Chopper following them.
"Hold position for docking," the Imperial officer yet again said from the shuttle's comm as Sabine and Ketsu boarded the shuttle's dashboard and saw an Imperial Cruiser near the shuttle from the window, "Attempt to flee, and you will be fired upon."
"Sabine, there was an Imperial Light Cruiser contacting us a few seconds ago and now it's approaching us," Satele told Sabine as she saw both Sabine and ketsu boarding the shuttle but was surprised to see Ketsu with them on the shuttle.
"Thanks to your little rust bucket, I've got no firepower. And as long as we're docked to this shuttle, we can't use the Shadow Caster's Hyperdrive to escape," Ketsu told Sabine and Satele, referring to her Lancer-class pursuit craft.
"Chop, overload the Hyperdrive on the shuttle," Sabine said as she turned to Chopper who immediately grunted and started to move over to one of the shuttle's astromech ports.
"What are you doing?" Ketsu asked Sabine as she watched as Chopper plugged his scomp link into the astromech port.
"Buying us time," Sabine answered before pressing a button on the dashboard activating the ship's communications system, "Attention, Imperial vessel. Please be aware, our ships have suffered extensive damage and are in danger of self-destruction."
"I am scanning," the Imperial Crusier's navigational officer informed his officer who was standing behind him, "Systems failure in both ships and a Hyperdrive coolant leak in the shuttle."
"Shuttle craft, you have two minutes to stabilize. Then we will be coming aboard," the Imperial officer said over the shuttle's communications system.
"What can you do in two minutes?" Ketsu asked Sabine with confusion.
"She's right, Sabine. What could we do in that amount of time?" Satele asked as she agreed with Ketsu.
"Watch," Sabine answered as she stood back up from the chair, "Chopper, purge the reactor, then get over to the Shadow Caster and prepare to disengage the docking tube on my signal." Chopper grunted as she said that.
"You're going to blow up the shuttle?" Ketsu asked her.
"That's a good plan, Sis," Satele told her twin sister as she thought that her plan was almost definitely going to work.
"Which will get us the time we need to make our escape," Sabine explained.
"I should have known. You always liked to make things go boom," Ketsu told her.
"I like to blow stuff up as well," Satele told Ketsu.
"I suspected as much as I've heard that all of the Wrens love to blow stuff up during battle," Ketsu told her.
"Something I learned from you," Sabine told Ketsu, "Still got the armoury of explosives you used to carry?"
"On my ship," Ketsu answered before rushing to her ship with Sabine and Satele following her and as they reached a container full of explosives she removed the lid, "Only friends I've ever needed."
"Until today," Sabine added as Ketsu grabbed one of the explosives who handed her two of the explosives, "Me and Satele will plant them on the shuttle to give the reactor an extra kick."
"That's the Sabine I remember," Ketsu said as she gave her another two explosives before handing two more to Satele.
"Now you get sentimental," Sabine told Ketsu before heading back to the hallway as she and Satele headed back to the shuttle, "Just get the Shadow Caster ready to fly."
"Sir, I'm registering a power surge on the shuttle," one of the navigational officers informed the Imperial officer standing behind him on the bridge of the Imperial Cruiser, causing the Imperial officer to switch the Imperial Light Cruiser's communications system on.
"Imperial Cruiser to shuttle. We are reading a power surge on your vessel," the Imperial Officer said using the Shuttle's comm, "Your reactor core is unstable. Contain the problem immediately."
"It is looking pretty bad over here," Sabine said, answering the comm after placing two of the four explosives that Ketsu gave both her and Satele on the dashboard before heading to the other side of the dashboard as she planted the last one of it, "I'd keep my distance if I were you."
"She's right. It would be safer for you if you keep away from this shuttle," Satele told the Imperial officer with the shuttle's communications system as she planted the explosives that Ketsu handed her.
"Whichever one of you thieves is in charge, identify yourself," the Imperial officer ordered from the Imperial Cruiser.
"You probably should talk to the captain," Sabine suggested as she turned to Satele, "Sis, wake him up."
"It would be my pleasure," Satele told her as she pressed a few buttons on the RX-series pilot droid's body as she reactivated him before placing her hands on the sides of his head and knocked her hand on it, "Hey, captain. Wake up!"
"Not take no for an answer!" The RX- series pilot droid said, finishing his sentence that he didn't quite get to finish earlier when he was deactivated.
"Your ship is under attack," Sabine said as she grabbed the RX- series pilot droid by the head, "You need to exercise emergency protocol."
"Under attack?" The RX- series pilot droid repeated with confusion.
"See that Imperial cruiser out there? It's getting ready to destroy your shuttle for being stolen," Sabine explained.
"Destroy my ship," the RX- series pilot droid said as he turned around towards the dashboard.
"Time to go," Sabine said as she stood up as she and Satele began to leave the shuttle.
"Sir, the shuttle's thrusters are powering up," one of the navigational officers told the Imperial officer behind him.
"Target the control hub. disable it," the Imperial officer ordered before the Imperial Light cruiser began to open fire on the shuttle.
As Sabine and Satele entered the Docking tube but as the Imperial Light Cruiser began to fire on the shuttle, Sabine was flung back into the shuttle as Satele ran through the docking tube as she reentered Ketsu's ship.
"I think they're onto us," Ketsu told her and the two droids from above the ladder in the ship's cargo bay before climbing down the ladder, "Droid, release the docking tube or we're all gonna die."
"You think? Sabine was knocked unconscious and was flung back into the shuttle," Satele told her as bot Chopper and EG-86 looked at her as well, "If neither of us save her she will die inside that shuttle instead of on the battlefield like all Mandalorians like us should."
"Fine, I'll go get her," Ketsu told them.
"We have sustained severe damage. Engaging emergency protocols," the RX- series pilot droid said on the Shuttle, "Full power to the thrusters!" He pressed a button on the dashboard as he said that, but instead of moving the shuttle stood still. Ketsu then ran through the docking bridge to get Sabine, but as she helped Sabine onto her feet, the RX- series pilot droid saw her, "Warning! I have engaged emergency protocols."
"Good for you!" Ketsu told the RX- series pilot droid, sarcastically as Sabine groaned as she started to regain consciousness and helped her through the docking tube.
"Detecting a reactor malfunction," the RX- series pilot droid said with confusion, "How did that happen? Where am I?" He then tried to accelerate the shuttle once again but like last time, It didn't budge.
"This shuttle captain is bold, but foolish," the Imperial officer said, referring to the RX- series pilot droid, "Activate the tractor beam. Take hold of that ship." As he said that, both of the Light Cruiser's navigational officers began to activate the LIght Cruiser's tractor beam.
"Happy now, droid, Satele?" Ketsu asked Chopper and Satele as she ran back through the docking tube with Sabine as she helped her through the docking tube.
"Yes, we are," Satele answered as Chopper plugged his scomp link into the astromech port next to the ship's docking tube as Sabine and Ketsu reentered the ship, the door to the docking tube soon closed as it retracted from the shuttle's docking tube as the Shadow Caster began to depart.
"Sir, the other ship is powering up rapidly," one of the Imperial navigational officers told the Imperial officer behind them, walking forward a bit as they noticed that the Lancer-class Pursuit craft was beginning to depart, "Their Hyperdrive is online."
"Lock onto both ships," the Imperial Officer ordered and one of the navigational officers pulled a lever down towards them, stopping the Shadow Caster in its tracks as it began to pulled towards the Imperial Light Cruiser.
"It's too late. They've got us," Ketsu told both Sabine and Satele as they were on the floor as she realized that her ship was slowly being pulled towards the Imperial Light cruiser with its tractor beam.
"Not for long," Sabine and Satele both told Ketsu at the same time.
"Are those explosives?" The RX- series pilot droid asked himself as he suddenly heard beeping across the shuttle's dashboard before placing his hands on his head as the shuttle began to explode as it crashed into the bottom of the Imperial cruiser.
"Reactor breach!" One of the navigational officers reported as he and his fellow navigational officer were swung to their sides by the shuttle crashing into the Imperial Light cruiser.
Ketsu then hopped onto the Shadow Caster's pilot's seat in the cockpit before pushing the ship's control stick forward as the Shadow Caster jumped into Hyperspace.
"Status report!" The Imperial officer ordered the navigational officers on the Imperial Light cruiser.
"Sir, the shuttle exploded and broke our lock. We've suffered significant damage, and the second ship is… gone," one of the navigational officers reported.
About an hour or so later, the Shadow Caster jumped out of Hyperspace near the terrestrial planet with mountains, water and grass named Alderaan as the ship headed towards the planet before landing on a landing platform where a few Alderaanian rebels and a familiar blue and white R2 series astromech droid that both Sabine and Satele met when they were dealing with the Empire's T-7 ion disruptors on Lothal were waiting for them to bring EG-86 to them.
R2 beeped a whistling sound as Sabine, Satele and Chopper approached him with EG-86 behind them.
"You can tell Senator Organa that his intel has arrived safe and sound," Sabine told R2 as she placed her arm over the top of EG-86 for a moment.
"Where's your protocol droid friend, R2?" Satele asked R2 before he beeped a response, "Oh, he's on a mission for Senator Organa. I was expecting to see him with you. But when you see him again, could you tell him I said hi?" R2 beeped a response as EG-86 walked forward as R2 beeped at Chopper, who took his arms out of his dome and turned his dome around before R2 rolled away with EG-86 as Chopper and Satele followed Sabine back towards the Shadow Caster where Ketsu was standing.
"Let's get the two of you home," Ketsu told both Sabine and Satele as they boarded the Shadow Caster with Chopper.
"Maybe you could unofficially join the rebellion, Ketsu," Satele told her sister's friend.
"I'll think about it," Ketsu answered, "But why did you join the Rebellion?"
"One reason was Sabine as I had never seen her for 9 years. But the major reason is that I want to free Mandalore from the Empire's grasp," Satele explained to Ketsu as the Shadow Caster took off from the landing platform and left the planet's atmosphere before jumping into Hyperspace.
About an hour or so later, the Shadow Caster jumped back out of Hyperspace as it arrived back on Garel as it reentered the planet's atmosphere and landed inside one of the planet's spaceports where Hera was waiting for them.
"Congratulations on a successful mission," Hera told Sabine and Satele as they approached her with Ketsu and Chopper before she turned to Ketsu, "Thank you for helping our cause."
"Well, it was mostly an accident. I'm not sure I'm ready for a full-on fight with the Empire just yet," Ketsu explained to Hera.
"No one ever is," Hera told her before walking away from all three Mandalorians.
"Satele, can I get a moment here?" Sabine asked her sister.
"Sure, Sis," Satele said as she, walked away from Sabine and Ketsu.
"You could've left me on that shuttle, taken the droids, gave Satele into the Empire and made a good profit," Sabine told Ketsu.
"It's only money," Ketsu explained to her.
"Thank you," Sabine said, thanking her for saving her.
"It must be nice to have people backing you up," Ketsu told her as she placed her hand on her chin for a second, "I had that once, when we were friends. Haven't had that since."
"Look, if you think you'd want to help us out, make a difference, just let us know," Sabine told her.
"Like I told Satele, I'll think about it," Ketsu told her as she held her hand out as to give her a handshake.
"That's a start," Sabine laughed as she shook her hand.
"Think that's the last we've seen of her?" Satele asked her sister as she walked next to Sabine.
"No, and I'm glad," Sabine answered as both she and Satele watched as the Shadow Caster lifted off of the ground of the spaceport's ground, "I think it's time I told you about my time as a bounty hunter."
