In the room where Luz and Lucia slept only Luz is seen still sleeping; while Lucia is waking up. When Lucia is fully awake, she looks down to see Luz has nuzzled herself between her breasts. Lucia smiles and says in a clear voice with a loving tone, "Luz it's morning; so, it's time to wake up."

Luz moans and tiredly says, "fifteen minutes." Before nuzzling deeper into Lucias' breasts.

Lucia expecting this says the one thing that she knows will work, "Luz there is cyber-psycho nearby with a large bounty."

Luz shoots awake, quickly gets dressed, and geared up before rushing out of the room. Lucia watching all this continues to smile then she chuckles and says, "works every time." Lucia then gets up, dressed and leaving the room, heads downstairs.

Once downstairs Lucia heads to the kitchen where she sees Eda drinking a dark crimson liquid and a highly marketable creature in a highchair that looked like a dog with a skull with two horns and one of the horns appeared broken halfway appeared to be eating a bowl full of kibble with a spoon. Lucia looked around slightly to see Luz with two bowls filled with actual cereal and milk; and she was glaring at Lucia who only says, "you wouldn't stop nuzzling my breasts and I doubt you want another feeding incident.

Luz then blushes and says embarrassed while pointing at Lucia, "you promised you'd never bring that up ever again."

Eda and King look to Luz then Lucia. Eda then asked Lucia, "what is she talking about."

Lucia looks to Eda and replies, "sorry Eda, that is something private between sisters." Lucia then walks up to the island counter and starts eating the cereal.

When everyone finishes eating Lucia asks Luz, "so, Luz do you want to help me finish setting up my workshop and clinic, go with Eda, or do your own thing."

Luz thought about what Lucia asked then replied, "(looks to Lucia) I'll help you finish the setup, and since I'm now sixteen~" Luz trails off.

Lucia gives in and says, "alright, I'll install your first cyberware, (gives Luz a look that is deadly serious) but your options are limited for the time being."

Luz knowing Lucia's policy on giving cyberware to those under the age of 21 nods, gets up, and goes to the living room.

Lucia picks up the two bowls and places them in the sink. Though before she leaves the sink Eda asks Lucia wanting to know something, "what's the big deal with this cyberware stuff."

Lucia looks to Eda says, "(sigh) Eda, when someone in the human realm getting your first cyberware it's seen as a rite of passage, a coming of age when you're now considered an adult; and in turn, you can take on adult responsibilities and work."

Eda then says, "so? For a witch, her first job is a coming of age."

Lucia looks Eda dead in her eyes and then started yelling, and pointing at Eda says, "well for Luz this is a big deal because she has been through so much: when she was just born she was dumped in the foster system where she was abused by three different families, ran-away at 13 years old and found me her biological sister by random chance, I took her in and taught her how to shoot a gun and how to swing a blade, she has taken jobs where she's been shot, slashed, and stabbed, now she's here a place where she is more or less safe from even the worst aspects of Night City and by extension the human realm; and I for one am glad she found a place where she can feel safe without worry about if some cyberware, jacked-up psycho will kill her or reduce her to a smear on the ground."

Eda looked at Lucia in shock; now understanding just how truly dangerous the human realm was. Eda shaken then says, "I-I had no idea (grasps her head with left hand). I had no idea just how much more dangerous the human realm had become."

Lucia looking at Eda lets out another sigh and calmly says, "ya, well at least this place is safer than even the main area of Night City. Eda, I'm going to go help Luz finish setting up my clinic and workspace; and if you ever want to just talk or need anything just let me know." Lucia then leaves the kitchen and enters the living room.

Luz looks at Lucia with wide eyes and Lucia asks, "how much of that did you hear."

Luz looking wide-eyed at Lucia replies, "I heard everything that you yelled at Eda."

Lucia for the third time this morning she sighed and said, "let's just move my working gear into my workspace and I'll explain why I was yell at Eda after, ok."

Luz nods knowing Lucia is faithful, honest, and will always uphold her word. Luz grabs the tech tool kit and first aid kit from Lucia's bikes' cargo compartment. Lucia pulls out her bag and satchel with both holding the rest of her working gear. Luz and Lucia go upstairs and head toward Lucia's clinic and workspace.

Luz and Lucia enter Lucia's clinic and putting down Lucias' stuff Luz looks Lucia in her eyes and says, "what were you yelling at Eda about."

Lucia knowing that would be what Luz would say replies with, "Eda, knows nothing about the difficult life you've had so I told her just how hard of a life you've lived up till this point. (looks to tech tool kit then the surgical kit) Luz, I can take it from here you can go help Eda with anything she needs or find something to do. I mostly needed your help moving my tools into my workspace. I can finish the setup of the clinic and workshop areas by myself. (Looks back to Luz) I'll let you know when things are ready."

Luz smiles and leaves Lucia to finish setting up.

Luz goes back to the kitchen to see Eda with a packed bag and ready to go somewhere. Luz not having anything planned for the day says to Eda, "got anything planned for the day."

Eda looking at Luz says, "yup."

Luz then asks, "what do you have planned."

Eda then points to the open door and says, "if you want to know you'll have to follow me."

Luz thinking things over and finding that she really doesn't having anything to do follows Eda with King not far behind.

Luz, Eda, and King went to the beach where they found a giant slug-like creature lying dead on the beach surrounded by trash. Looking at the creature Eda then says excitedly, "well, Luz. (Elbows Luz's side) Have you ever seen anything as breathtaking as this."

Luz looking at the creature then asks Eda, "what am I looking at, exactly."

Eda approached the creature while telling Luz about the creature, "well it doesn't get much more inspiring than the trash slug. (Solemn tone) It makes a home, a life from what others have thrown to the wayside; (then with an excited tone and slams a right hand into her left) then blame, it gets blasted by a wave one day and croaks from all the salt. (Lifts a hand pickaxe into the air) Then we get to sell the stuff that it ate."

Eda offers the hand pickaxe to Luz who backs away and says in a horrified tone, "please, don't make me."

King walks away and unrolling a beach towel says, "aw, come on. Luz, you faced down the warden and killed a guy; how is this horrifying to you."

Luz shoots a glare at King and says, "I have been through scaver chop shops with people chopped up just so they could have their cyberware and body parts sold on the black market. This (gestures at the trash slug) is a creature that literally eats trash and I for one will not go digging through a corpse just to get trash to make some quick eddies."

King looks at Luz before then laying on the beach towel that he brought with him.

Eda then says, "aw, nuts to ya both." Eda then swings the pickaxe opening up the trash slug and causes a bunch of for its namesake's trash to fall out of the creature's corpse.

Luz watched as Eda rummaged through the various pieces of trash and junk. Eventually, Luz spoke saying, "so Eda do you have any other work that needs to be done or are you just going to dig through a trash corpse all day."

Eda still digging through the trash slug says, "yup, goes to show how a true wild witch is resourceful."

Luz looks to Eda then to a pool of slime and sticking her left hand in it and pulls out what at first looks like a slime ball, but removing some of the slime from it revealed it was actually a seed. Luz pocketed the seed before turning to Eda and saying, "I've had enough digging through trash for today; have fun continuing to dig through a trash corpse." With that said Luz left, but not before rubbing King's belly causing King to giggle.

All while Eda says, "nigh."

Opening with cyberpunk elements

Luz walks through the forest looking at all the plant life since in Night City there is no plant life at least not publicly accessible. As Luz was walking around and looking at the plants, she hears another voice. Curious Luz follows the voice to find a pale-skinned, stocky girl with dark hair in a uniform consisting of boots, purple leggings and shirt, a cowl, and glasses was standing next to a cauldron that was in a wheelbarrow.

Luz watched as the girl gave herself a pep talk and it appeared to be working. It's when she steps on a flower and she uses a spell and restores the flower. Luz looks on impressed that a single witch that is so young could restore a plant so easily.

It's then that another witch dressed similarly to the first girl with just as pale skin, but with black nail polish, light green hair with brown roots, tied into a short bobtail. The new arrival was riding on her cauldron while it was in its wheelbarrow appeared and stopped in-front of the young witch that just revived the flower which then wilted.

Luz seeing this and looking at both their stances puts on her hood and stepping out from the bushes and calls out, "hey, don't you think you should be on your way, greenie. The forest is not exactly the safest place to be arguing because who knows who or what might attack you." Luz then gave the green-haired girl a predatory smile which un-nerved the green-haired girl.

The green-haired girl despite not showing any fear replied, "well, if that's the case then I guess we should get to Hexside…" the girl looks to the stocky girl and says, "…best get to Hexside don't want to be late now do we, willow." With that, the green-haired girl left Luz and willow in the path.

Luz looking to Willow asked, "you alright, and don't worry I won't hurt you not unless you strike first."

Cautious Willow replied while pressing herself against the cauldron, "ya, that's not the first time Amity has done that…" Willow then sat against the cauldron, "…it has been going on for years and I just got used to it."

Luz hearing this frowned and says, "you shouldn't let such things continue even if you're used to it; such actions shouldn't fly."

Willow hearing this looks to Luz and asks, "what's your name; I'm Willow."

Holding a hand out Luz replies, "Luz, and I heard greenie there call you Willow so I kinda already knew."

Blushing Willow took hold of Luz's hand and got up. Once up Willow asked, "so, what are you doing here."

Luz seeing that Willow was making small talk replies, "just walking through the forest and taking in the sights, you."

Willow upon standing sees that Luz has round ears and says, "so circly." Willow then hears the ringing of a bell and says, "oh no, I'm going to be late." Willow then grabs hold of her wheelbarrow and before she can even take off is stopped by Luz.

Luz then asks, "hey wanna walk and talk."

Willow replies with, "sure, I guess."

Willow and Luz walk and talk with each other until they reach, they reach Hexside.

Willow looks to Luz and says in a sad tone, "well it was nice talking with you Luz; but now I need to disappoint my teacher, again."

Luz not liking seeing someone who just moments earlier was displaying more skill with plants than whatever she was doing already says, "I don't think whatever this (points to the cauldron) is what you're suited for."

Willow sighing says, "I know but my parents put me in this track because they think it will secure my future the best." Willow then proceeds to enter Hexside with a downcast look on her face.

Luz not liking what she just heard enters the school and after receiving directions finds the principal's office. Entering Luz sees a hunched-over man in some old-style headmaster garb with some kind of creature on his head. The man then looks up from his work and asks, "who are you."

Luz looking the man in the eyes replies, "I'm Luz Noceda and I'm here on behalf of a friend."

The man now curious gestures to a chair and says, "then please take a seat and tell me about this friend."

Luz walks up to the desk and taking a seat says, "her name's Willow, and I've seen her display greater skill with plants than with whatever she's doing now."

The man looking at Luz seems to be thinking it over before replying, "I suppose something could be arranged. Ms. Parks' grades haven't been the best that I've seen."

Luz then asks, "alright so what's the test."

The man while rubbing his chin replies in an unsure tone, "I'm not sure there are a myriad of ways to test for each track; but the plant track has both the easiest and the hardest tests of them all."

Luz reached into her pocket and pulled out the seed and showing it to the man says, "how about a simple one."

The man looks to the seed then to Luz and gestures for her to continue.

Luz continues what she was saying, "If willow can make this seed grow into a plant of great size using only her magic; then she'll be placed in the plant track and if not then let her decide what track she wants to be in, deal."

The man thought it over and says, "deal" then the man spoke into the public announcement system calling for Willow.

When Willow arrived, she saw Luz and the principal. The principal told Willow, "Ms. Noceda here has convinced me to give you a test to see if you belong in the plant track and if not well, you'll be moved to a track of your choice."

Willow looked surprised then Luz came up to her, and handing Willow the seed she had, and whispered into her ear, "give this everything you got and let out your true self." Luz then walks over to a wall next to a window. Willow placed the seed on the ground and before she could cast a spell the principal then said, "let's take this outside. I don't want to have to fix my office… or the school's interior."

Willow looked to Luz to gestured back to Willow. Willow then replies, "alright, Principal Bump."

Principal Bump then says where the test will be, "let's go to the Grudby field it's the least expensive area on campus."

Luz, Willow, and principal bump left the office and went out to the Grudby field; where several students presumably wanted to watch Willow possibly fail or to provide support.

On the field, there were Willow and Principal Bump; who gestured for Willow to start. While Luz was in the bleachers watching as Willow did her test.

Willow placed the seed on the ground and after making a spell circle Willow poured everything she had into the spell. This caused the seed to explode with growth and entrap not only Principal Bump but several other students. When Willow finished, she was panting then looked around in amazement. The seed became a plant that was taller than Hexside's main atrium with it holding everyone that it entrapped near the top. Willow looked on amazed at what she did.

Luz meanwhile got up and went to Willow. When Luz got to Willow Luz said, "congratulations, hope you like your new track, Willow." Then Luz left to return to the owl house while Willow still looked at everything she just did.

As Luz approached the owl house someone called out her name, and Luz recognized who it was; turning around Luz saw Willow running toward her and with her was a dark-skinned boy with dark curly hair whose uniform looked like Willows but where she was purple now a dark green he was cyan blue. Luz stopped and waited for Willow and the boy to catch up.

When they did Luz asked, "so how do you like your new track, and who is this short, coco-skinned cutie."

The boy blushed at Luz, but before he could say anything Willow spoke through her own panting, "I love my new track and this is my friend Augustus."

Augustus still looking at Luz said, "hi, I'm Augustus, prodical illusionist and head of the human appreciation society."

Luz looking at both Willow and Augustus replies, "huh, I knew an Augustus from a job I did a few weeks ago."

Augustus now excited asked, "can I meet him."

Luz looked straight at Augustus and replied in a deadpan tone, "she's dead, took a 30-06 to the head; but she went by the shorthand, Gus."

Augustus now shocked and horrified even though he didn't understand what Luz just said meant said, "I'm sorry, I didn't know."

Luz shrugged it off and said, "hey, she knew the risks when we hit up that saka' convoy outside Night City."

Augustus now sad was now being comforted by Willow. Luz suddenly remembering where she is says a white lie, "hey, if you want, I can call you Gus in her honor."

Augustus looks at Luz and asks, "really."

Luz seeing what she said is working replies, "ya, she did say that after that job she was going to settle down and have a family."

Augustus now Gus says in a mildly better mood, "thanks, I'll do her proud also I have a few questions about humans I'd like answered."

Luz pulling out her phone and seeing the time shakes her head and says, "alright, but I'd like to get a little something done first. So just take a seat, grab something to write with, and wait for me, alright."

Gus now even better says, "alright."

Luz then looked to Willow and asks, "so are you gonna head home, back to school, or where ever."

Willow looking at Luz replies, "I'm going with Gus because I'm kinda curious about where you live."

Luz smiles feeling as if she made her first real friends and says, "c'mon, let's delta." Luz then led Willow and Gus to the owl house.

As Luz and her new friends approached the owl house, they saw a sight that none of them expected to see; a giant trash slug was laying gutted against the house with king and Eda holding each other against a tree; while Lucia was standing Infront of the gutted trash slug covered head to foot in slime while holding a knife.

Lucia panting and looking at King and Eda says, "so what did we learn about taming wild animals while also making a bet out of it."

Eda and King at the same time said, "to not make a bet out of taming wild animals."

Lucia still panting and looking both Eda and King simply said, "good; now I'm going inside and I expect this giant slug gone before I come back out." Lucia then went inside with a slam of the front door followed by a pained "ow" from hooty.

Luz went over to Eda and King and looking at them said, "wow, you best get crack'in on that trash slug because you do not want to endure what the last person went through when they didn't do or listen to Lucia." Luz then left with her new friends who were questioning what they just saw. Luz taking a glance behind her called out to Willow and Gus, "are ya just gonna stand there, or are you two going to come inside."

Willow and Gus now out of their surprise rushed to get inside the house with Luz who just entered the house and was waiting for Willow and Gus before gently closing the front door. Once inside Luz gestured towards the couch and said, "make yourselves comfortable because it might be a while."

Once Willow and Gus were comfortable Luz went upstairs and going to the bathroom knocked and heard Lucia say in a significantly calmer tone, "I know it's you Luz; please come in."

Luz enters the bathroom and sees Lucia standing in-front of Luz with nothing on. Luz sees Lucia's breasts which she's still jealous of the early signs of abs, but also a tattoo of a stylized Oni face on Lucias' left thigh. Ripping her attention from her sisters' body Luz says, "I've decided on what I want."

Lucia smiles at this and says, "if that's the case then take a shower with me, we can get clean and you can give me the details on what you want." Luz lets out a sigh and taking off her clothes shows Lucia that Luz has gained some muscular definition and the beginnings of toned abs; while still having a cute, rounded ass that no one could refuse.

Lucia got in the shower with Luz who then told Lucia, "I want a processor and a biomonitor."

Lucia knowing how often those two items are ordered says, "alright, once we're done cleaning up, we'll go over to my clinic and get you all set up hermanita."

When Luz and Lucia finished showering, they while wrapped in only towels went over to Lucias' clinic. Where Luz dropped her towel and laid on her stomach on the operating table. Luz then felt a prick on her left and started to fall unconscious.

When Luz woke up, she looked herself over and found that she was dressed in her sleepwear and her biomonitor; which was placed on her right wrist and displayed her overall health and any conditions she had which was none. Luz then felt the back of her neck and felt a slight bump; however, this bump was rigid with sharp angles. Luz smiled and turned back to her biomonitor and found herself pleased with herself.

Luz then checked her wallet and found she was down to 4000 eddies, yet her snails remained at 500000. Luz knowing what happened smiled then changed into her regular clothes and left her room and went downstairs.

When Luz got downstairs Luz saw Willow and Gus talking to Lucia. Luz as she walked over found herself pleased that her friends were getting along with her sister. Luz wanting to make herself known called out, "yo, what's up."

Willow and Gus were surprised by Luzs' sudden appearance while Lucia remained calm. Lucia then said, "so the bella durmiente awakens. How was your siesta."

Luz still smiling replies, "it was good; especially since I got a processor and biomonitor from it."

Willow and Gus confused by what Luz just said reply with, "what."

Lucia then stepped in and explained, "Luz now has a microprocessor that translates electrical impulses into data and vice-versa at the base of her spine. As for the biomonitor, it gives real-time health feedback so Luz can make better choices on what to do when she's in a fight or (looks at Luz with a smile) if she should eat a 3-week-old ration pack that is clearly no longer editable."

Luz now red-faced points to Lucia and says, "hey, you knew that the expiration date was scratched off and I've seen you eat rats just as often as me; and I'm still growing you bitch."

Willow and Gus are taken completely off guard by the short interaction between the sisters. Gus then asks, "should we leave."

Luz looks to Gus and says, "sorry, I don't like stuff like that coming up around others."

Willow then spoke up, "understandable, my sister will on the rare occasion bring up similarly embarrassing things."

Lucia then looks to Gus and says, "well since I answered all of your questions perhaps you could answer one of mine."

Gus unsure as to what Lucia is going to ask cautiously asks, "and what would that be."

Lucia still smiling asks, "do you have any older siblings."

Gus not expecting that replies with, "ya, I do have an older brother."

The group continues to talk for a while more, but it's when the sun starts to set that Willow and Gus have to leave for home. Luz and Lucia watch from the door as Willow and Gus leave the owl house. It's only when Willow and Gus are out of sight do the sisters go back in. Lucia looks at Luz and says while still smiling, "it looks like we both have a set of new friends."

Luz knowing what Lucia means also smiles then says, "let's eat and go to bed." Luz then briefly embraces Lucia in a hug then goes to make something to eat from the kitchen.

Lucia follows Luz into the kitchen. However, both fail to notice Eda and King who finished cleaning off the trash slug hours ago watched the conversation the sisters had with Willow and Gus. It's when Luz unexpectedly hugged Lucia did Eda see what sisters should act like.

Eda letting out a sigh then quietly says, "maybe I should make up with Lilly." Eda then went to her room and got into bed.

King however just found a place somewhere and fell asleep.
