"We got the supplies, but we were fortunate to get away," Kanan announced as he and Zeb entered the debriefings room of Sato's command ship where Sato, Rex, Hera, Sabine and Satele were in after the Ghost docked with the corvette, "The Empire's making our travels around the Outer Rim tougher all the time."

"Yes. We need a new Hyperspace route in and out of the Lothal sector," Sato said, agreeing with Kanan.

"Me and Satele were just thinking that we have the perfect shortcut," Sabine spoke up as she approached the holotable with Satele following her and clicked a button on it, causing a holographic image of a sector of the galaxy to appear on it, "The System of Concord Dawn."

"It's a Mandalorian colony and not an Imperial territory yet," Satele added.

"Why isn't it? They've grabbed up just about every other place they can get their hands on?" Zeb asked both Mandalorians with confusion.

"Concord Dawn is known for its elite warriors," Rex explained, "They were brought in to train clones back in the war. Bet even the Empire thinks twice about picking a fight with them."

"The question is, who are they loyal to?" Sato asked, "The Empire does occupy their home world of Mandalore, so Imperial influence could be a factor."

"Years before the Clone Wars broke out, the Mandalorians were already at war with each other," Sabine began to say.

"And our people have had multiple wars with each other," Satele added, "This group calls themselves the Protectors. They like to make their own rules."

"Sounds familiar," Hera muttered to Kanan.

"So we go in with strength, scout the defenses to see what we're up against," Sato suggested.

"Or why not try diplomacy," Kanan argued, "Ask permission to use their system as a shortcut."

"Diplomacy?" Sato repeated with disbelief, "Warriors like these only understand strength."

"He's got a point," Sabine said, agreeing with the commander.

"Yeah, they're right, our people prefer war over diplomacy," Satele said, agreeing with them.

"But we shouldn't make an enemy if we don't need to," Hera said, agreeing with Kanan, "If we get permission to fly through their space, the next step is recruitment. To grow the rebellion, we need friends like these Mandalorians. We could have our route, a powerful ally as well as a way to free your father in case Minister Tua was right about him being imprisoned as well."

"Very well, Captain Syndulla," Sato told Hera, "The mission is yours."

"Okay if me and Sabine tag along?" Satele requested.

"I was hoping one of you'd ask," Hera told Sabine as she and both Mandalorians walked out of the debriefing room.

"Well, it looked like your Jedi diplomacy won the day for once," Zeb said as Hera and the twins exited the room.

"There was a time when it always won the day," Kanan told him as he turned around towards him.

As Hera, Satele and Sabine left the debriefings room, they hopped in three A-wing starfighters with a few other rebels going with them in two other A-wing starfighters and both Mandalorians placed their helmets over their heads while Hera placed her face plate-like helmet over her face before they flew towards a planet that was colored purple and looked like it was devastated by one of the hundreds or thousands of wars that Satele and Sabine's people have been through with roughly a third of its mass blasted out as asteroid-debris in its planetary orbit.

"So, that's Concord Dawn," Hera said as she stared at the planet that was devastated, "Sure looks like it's been through a war."

"This system has endured more than a hundred wars," Sabine chuckled, "Our people don't need a reason to pick a fight."

"We were also manipulated to attack the Republic about 4,000 years ago by a Sith Lord," Satele added, "But fortunately for the Republic a group of Jedi knights fought for the republic including one of our ancestors."

"Phoenix Squadron, we have visitors," Hera said as three Mandalorian Fang Fighters began to intercept them.

"Everybody, stay sharp," Sabine warned her, Hera and Satele's fellow rebels as one of the Fang Fighters flew in front of Hera's A-wing.

"Attention, unregistered ships. This is Fenn Rau, Protector of Concord Dawn," a man wearing a blue and white Mandalorian flight suit with the red colored symbol of the Protector of Concord Dawn on his helmet said from the Fang Fighter that was in front of Hera's A-wing, "You are trespassing. Identify yourselves."

"We come in peace, Protector," Hera told him.

"Peace?" Rau chuckled in disbelief, "That's not a word I hear often. State your mission."

"We request safe passage through your system," Hera answered.

"Well that depends," Rau told her on her ship's comm system, "Who is asking?"

"Those who would stand with Concord Dawn against the Empire," Hera answered.

"So you're the rebels I've heard about," Rau realized, "How unfortunate for you."

"You haven't heard what we have to say," Hera told him on his ship's comm system.

"I don't need to. Out here, I act in the name of the Empire," Rau said before flying his ship behind them.

"Hold on, Protector," Hera protested before Rau started firing his ship's laser cannons at one of the A-wings.

"I'm hit!" One of the Phoenix Squadron pilots cried out as his A-wing got hit by the lasers from Rau's ship, destroying the ship as it exploded, while it spun downwards, out of control.

"Hera, what do we do?" Sabine asked on Hera's A-wing's comm system.

"Yeah, Sis, is right, Hera," Satele said, agreeing with her sister on Hera's A-wing's comm system, "What do we do?"

"I don't think they're interested in talking, Hera," Sabine said as the Mandalorian ships started firing upon them.

"Phoenix Squadron, take evasive action," Hera ordered as an alarm in her A-wing started beeping while the Mandalorian ships continued to chase and fire upon them and within moments of chasing them, one of the other Phoenix Squadron A-wings exploded after being fired upon by the Mandalorian ships, killing the pilot instantly, "Specter-5, Specter-6, Phoenix-2, get out of here."

"There's too much fire. I can't get an opening," Phoenix-2 replied.

"He's right. If we attempt to jump, we'll be cut to pieces," Sabine said, agreeing with him.

"Yeah, they're right, Hera. We'll die if we attempt to jump to Hyperspace," Satele said, agreeing with them.

"Go to heading 257. I'll get you your opening," Hera told them.

"What about you?" Sabine asked.

"She'll be fine, Sis," Satele told her, "We have our orders."

"Just listen to your sister, Sabine. You have your orders," Hera told her.

"Roger that," Sabine groaned before flying her A-wing in the opposite direction along with her sister and Phoenix-2 as the Mandalorian ships followed them.

"That's it, Protector. Follow me," Hera muttered to herself as Rau followed her in his ship.

"What are you up to?" Rau asked himself as he followed her as he knew that Hera was up to something.

"Hera, where's that opening?" Sabine asked as she, Satele and Phoenix-2 avoided the laser dire from the Mandalorian ships that were chasing them.

"Prepare to jump," Hera told them as she fired upon one pf the Mandalorian ships from behind, destroying it.

"Coordinates set. Thanks, Phoenix Leader," Phoenix-2 said before he jumped into Hyperspace.

"Let's get going, Sis," Satele told her sister.

"Your sister is right. Get going, Sabine," Hera said, agreeing with Satele.

"Not without you, Hera," Sabine protested.

"Sabine, we have to go," Satele told her.

"Just go! I'll be right behind the two of you," Hera promised on Sabine's A-wing's comm system.

"Close ranks," Rau said before moving his ship's wings around as he fired upon them, missing Sabine and Satele as they jumped into Hyperspace and Hera's A-wings was hit by Rau from the front as well as Mandalorian ships from behind, heavily damaging Hera's A-wing.

Back inside Sato's command ship, Kanan entered the Bridge as both Sabine and Satele's A-wings jumped out of Hyperspace in the distance.

Both Sabine and Satele exhaled as they removed their helmets after their A-wings jumped out of Hyperspace in front of Sato's command ship.

"Sabine, Satele, what happened?" Kanan asked both Mandalorians on their A-wings' comm systems, "We picked up a distress call. Where's Hera?"

"She was right behind us," Satele answered.

"Kanan, we didn't stand a chance. These Mandalorians work for the Empire, too," Sabine added.

Just as she finished saying that, Hera's A-wing jumped out of Hyperspace nearby, severely damaged and in critical condition, everybody looked at it with shock and fear.

"Hera?" Kanan said as he activated the Bridge's comm system, only to get no response from her, "Hera, can you hear me?"

Sabine and Satele both gasped as Hera's A-wing floated by their A-wings and saw that she was unconscious and in critical condition.

"We see her. We see her, Kanan. It's bad," Sabine told him as their A-wings along with Hera's began to fly towards Sato's command ship, "You've got to hurry. Please hurry!"

"She's in critical condition. She needs medical attention fast," Satele added with fear and worry in her voice.

Moments later, Satele and Zeb were standing outside the door to the medical bay while Sabine paced back and forth before the door suddenly opened and the three of them rushed in as they saw Hera laying on a hospital bed with bandages on the top of her head and partially over both of her Lekkus, Kanan standing next to her and a medical droid standing next to the Twi'lek, treating her.

"How is she?" Sabine and Satele both asked as they approached Kanan.

"Her vital signs have stabilized. She is going to make it. But she requires rest," the medical droid answered.

"This is our fault. We shouldn't have left her," Satele said, feeling bad for what happened to Hera.

"There's nothing either of you could have done. I'm just glad the three of you are back in one piece," Kanan reassured her, "Commander Sato wants the details on what happened."

"Yeah, we'll be right there," Sabine told him.

"Okay," Kanan said as he left the room.

"I'm sorry for what happened, Hera," Satele said as she walked up to the sleeping Hera with Sabine and held her hand as they sat next to her, "They're going to pay for this."

"Fenn Rau, the Protector of Concord Dawn," Sabine said as she and Satele entered the debriefings room and walked up to the holotable and stood next to Kanan, who stood next to Rex as a hologram of a Fang Fighter was projected on the holotable, "That's who did this. That's who we're up against."

"Rex, does that name sound familiar to you?" Kanan asked the clone.

"It sure does," Rex answered as the hologram of the holotable switched from the Mandalorian fighter to an image of Rau in his pilot uniform, "Fenn Rau was a fighter pilot instructor for the Grand Army of the Republic. He also served…"

"At the Battle of Mygeeto," Kanan finished for him as he realized who Rau was, "I know. I was there."

"That was a long time ago," Sato stated.

"So, I guess negotiating's been taken off the table?" Kanan asked.

"Yeah? You want to negotiate? Let's negotiate, by destroying their ability to attack us," Satele argued, "Me and Sabine tracked them from Concord Dawn's third moon. They must have a base there."

"If they scan our fleet approaching, their fighters will cut us to pieces," Sato warned her.

"Then I guess we'll hit 'em before they take off," Kanan suggested.

"You think you can infiltrate their base?" Sato asked him.

"I believe I can," Kanan confirmed.

"We can take out their fighters, all of them," Sabine added.

"And steal one to add to part of the fleet," Satele told them, saying that she wanted one of the Protectors' Fang Fighters.

"Hmm. It's risky, but I approve," Sato told them.

"Well, I don't," Kanan told them, "This is a solo mission, and I'm taking it. I'm already one man down. I won't risk anyone else."

Zeb looked at Kanan with shock before Sabine touched Kanan on the back, stopping him, "Kanan, me and Satele know the Mandalorians. You need one of us on this mission."

"No way," Zeb said as he blockaded the door.

"My sister's right. You need one of us," Satele told him as she approached him and crossed her arms, "And besides, we're a team."

"You can't go without us," Zeb added, agreeing with both Mandalorians as he crossed his arms as well.

"All right. I'll take Chopper," Kanan said, causing Chopper to make a grunt that sounded like the word 'what?' as he was surprised by what Kanan just said, "But that's it." He then walked towards the door after Satele and Zeb walked away from it, "And this is not an open discussion. Come on, Chopper." Chopper then grunted, frustratedly as he said that, "Come on, Chopper!" With that said, Chopper grunted as Kanan left the room and hit Satele on the leg with his metal arm as he exited the room with Kanan.

"Don't worry, Sabine. I'll avenge Hera for us," Satele reassured her twin.

"I suspect there's something more than that," Sabine told her.

"All right, Sis," Satele sighed, "I want to avenge her as much as you do, but I'm more powerful in the Force than you and have more training and I also want to steal one of those Fang Fighters for the fleet so we can use one of them when we rescue Father and take back Mandalore from the Empire."

"Okay, but be careful, Satele," Sabine warned her.

"I'll be careful," Satele reassured her as she placed her helmet back over her head as she went to leave the room, "See you, Sis."

"I can hear you. And, yes, I know what I'm doing. Just program the nav computer," Kanan told Chopper after he heard him grunt from his astromech socket on the top of the Phantom as he sat in the pilot's seat before Chopper grunted again as the shuttle detached from the Ghost with its wings unfolding and began flying off to Concord Dawn as it Jumped to Hyperspace.

"Chopper load up the intel Sabine and Satele gathered. We can pinpoint where their base is," Kanan told Chopper as the Phantom jumped out of Hyperspace and began to approach Concord Dawn and its moons. Chopper immediately grunted a response as Satele entered from below a hatch on the floor with her helmet still over her head, "What do you mean, just ask Satele?"

"He means I'm standing right behind you," Satele said as she stood by a wall in front of the seats before approaching him, "Better jam those scanners."

"What are you doing here?" Kanan asked her, confused about how she got on board the Phantom as she approached him.

"You must be pretty distracted not to notice I stowed away," Satele said, stating the obvious, "So, what are you really up to?"

"You heard Sato's orders. I'm gonna destroy those fighters before they take off," Kanan answered before sighing.

"Despite knowing you for a year, I know you better than that," she told her master as she knew that he was telling a half-truth.

"Fine," Kanan relented as he rolled his eyes, "I'm going to finish Hera's mission. We need the Mandalorians to join the rebellion and so they can help us in case the Empire actually has your father imprisoned."

"The Protectors almost killed Hera. What are you thinking?!" Satele asked Kanan with surprise, confusion and disbelief.

"I'm thinking we can still offer them a chance to change. Everyone deserves a chance," he explained to her.

"You know, despite me being a Mandalorian Jedi your Jedi philosophy stuff doesn't work for everyone," Satele scoffed.

"That's why we're at war," he said as he placed his hand over her armor's left pauldron as she went to walk away before she stood by the wall, crossing her arms.

Chopper grunted as the shuttle entered the atmosphere of Concord Dawn's third moon and spun around with Satele and Kanan in the back of the shuttle before both the Jedi and Mandalorian jumped out of the shuttle as Chopper flew the shuttle past them.

Satele and Kanan climbed up a hill-like structure and looked at the base from there below them as she immediately flipped her macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder down to look at the base from where she was standing.

"Well? What are we up against?" Kanan asked as he approached her.

"Including two starfighters on patrol? Eight ships in total," Satele answered as she flipped her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back up, "Not sure how we'll steal one of them for the fleet, but they're spread out, so it's gonna take me a while to plant the charges. I think I have enough explosives."

"You and your sister always bring enough explosives," he reminded her as a ship flew above them, "Hopefully you won't have to use 'em. Now get down. They got company."

With that said, both Kanan and Satele got on their stomachs as they watched an Imperial shuttle land onto a landing pad within the base. Satele flipped her macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back down as she watched the shuttle descend onto the base and saw an Imperial officer walk down the shuttle's ramp with a stormtrooper rolling containers down the ramp on a loading dolly as Rau approached the Imperial officer.

"Looks like the Empire bought their loyalty," Kanan observed.

"See the Mandalorian accepting the credits?" Satele asked him, "That's their leader, Fenn Rau."

"Here is the payment for the next rotation," the Imperial officer told Rau as he handed him a wallet-like device with credits within it as Kanan looked through his Padawan's helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder.

"This arrangement is working to your benefit," Rau told the Imperial officer, "I encountered a squadron of rebels."

"The rebel fleet?" The Imperial officer asked with surprise.

"Not an entire fleet. A couple of fighters. But my men and I took care of them," Rau reassured him.

"If they return, be sure to contact us," the Imperial officer told him.

With that said, Satele flipped her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back up, "Sounds like your negotiations are gonna go great," she said to him, sarcastically, "What's the plan? I mean, if diplomacy doesn't work."

"You give me a chance to recruit the Mandalorians. If that doesn't work, then you get to blow up the fighters," Kanan explained before placing his hand on her armor's left pauldron, where her Mandalorian styled Jedi Order symbol was painted on, "We have a deal?"

"Fine," Satele relented, "But not just the ships. Rau has to pay for what he did to Hera."

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that," he said as they crawled backwards before hopping off the hill-like structure as the Imperial shuttle flew away as Kanan and Satele quietly entered the base as they sneaked behind a wall with Satele taking her WESTAR-35s out before they quickly ran behind a building near the wall with Kanan running quickly along the wall as Satele followed.

"Two rebels burned. The rest fled," a Mandalorian Protector said to one of their fellow Mandalorian Protectors as Kanan and Satele reached the edge of the wall and quickly hid on the wall as they walked by, "He wants us to stay on guard."

"Plant your bombs, but wait for my signal," Kanan told Satele as the two Mandalorian Protectors walked by as they got off the wall.

"All right," Satele sighed as she saw Rau enter a building with her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder before flipping it back up.

"Hey. I trust you," he reassured her as he went to follow Rau into the building, while Satele went to plant her thermal detonators as she threw it up a bit with it landing back in her hand.

Inside the building, Rau had his helmet off showing that he had a fair skin tone, blue eyes and ginger eyebrows with his helmet on a table that he was sitting at as a protocol droid poured something liquid in a bowl in front of him on the table, which he took a quick sip of when he sensed Kanan standing at the doorway, "Pretty bold to sneak onto my base. I'm gonna assume you're one of those rebels I dealt with earlier," he said, aiming a WESTAR-35 at him.

"That's a pretty good guess, but not the entire truth," Kanan said as he began to approach him.

"I don't recognize you, so before I gun you down, why don't you tell me what you want?" Rau asked as Kanan sat next to him as the protocol droid poured the same liquid that Rau's bowl into another bowl as both of them took a sip of their bowls.

"We never met, but I do know you. In fact, I came to thank you. In the Clone Wars, you fought in the Third Battle of Mygeeto," Kanan said after placing his bowl back on the table as the protocol droid poured more of the liquid in Rau's bowl as under the table, Kanan connected his lightsaber's emitter to his lightsaber's main body before placing it on the table, "And I was there."

"You're a survivor," Rau realized, chuckling as he twirled his WESTAR-35 as he placed it in its holster, "That explains how you got past my men."

"My master, Depa Billaba, and I were pinned down, trapped by droids. You and your Skull Squadron flew into the Separatist fire over and over to cover us. You saved our lives," Kanan said, recalling how he knew him as he disconnected his lightsaber's emitter from his lightsaber's main body before placing both parts back on his hip and the back of his pants.

"Mmm. That was a long time ago. I was younger and more reckless," Rau told him as he held his bowl in his hand, "To be honest, I don't see what that has to do with you being here."

"You gave me a chance to live that day. Now I'd like to return the favor," Kanan explained as he held his bowl in his hand.

As this was happening, Satele flipped her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back down and saw two Mandalorian Protectors carrying one of the containers that the Empire gave them before turning to see a Mandalorian working on their fighter with a Gonk droid standing next to them and looked to her right and saw a few canisters of Rhydonium before flipping her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back up and took out one of her thermal detonators from one of her armor's bags and powered it up as she stealthily and quickly walked towards one of the Rhydonium canisters and planted it on the canister and hid behind a box-shaped contained as one of the Mandalorian Protectors signaled for one of the fighters to land as it was approaching from above and landed nearby and she quickly ran underneath one of the fighters and took out another one of her thermal detonators and planted it on the fighter and quickly ran over to another fighter and planted another thermal detonator on it after taking it out and carefully jumped over its wing and sneaked over to the fighter next to the one she was at and placed it on the side as two Mandalorian Protectors walked by the fighter as she accidentally banged the bottom of the fighter with her helmet as she crawled backwards.

"Ow," Satele muttered under her breath.

"What was that?" One of the Mandalorian Protectors asked before rushing over to the location of the sound, only to find nothing from the location of the sound as Satele hung onto the back of the fighter and looked down as she saw the two Mandalorian Protectors walk away from the space below the fighter before letting go of the fighter before hiding in a corner of it and clicked a button on her armor's control pad and looked down and saw the containers the Empire gave the Mandalorian Protectors from a distance before she heard a WESTAR-35 cocking behind her and knew that one of the Mandalorian Protectors was aiming it at her as she's been spotted.

"How's it going, boys?" Satele asked as she stood up and turned around as the other Mandalorian Protectors aimed their WESTAR-35s at her as they approached her.

"Where did you steal that armor from, bounty hunter?" One of the Mandalorians asked her.

"Bounty hunter?" Satele repeated with disbelief as she jumped onto the fighter behind her, "I've never been a bounty hunter. I forged this armor with my family."

"Family?" One of the Mandalorians repeated with disbelief as they noticed her lightsaber on her armor's belt and looked at her suspiciously, "That's a bold claim. What's your house?"

"I'm Clan Wren, House Vizsla," Satele answered as she looked at them.

"House Vizsla?" One of the Mandalorians repeated in disbelief, "She's Death Watch!"

"Traitor!" Another of the Mandalorians exclaimed.

"My mother was, but I'm not," Satele told them, "I came here to settle a score, and I invoke the code to seek justice through single combat."

"No one has invoked the code since the Empire took over," one of the Mandalorians told her.

"Well, who's in charge here?" Satele asked him after jumping onto another fighter as she placed her WESTAR-35s back in their holsters, "The Empire or Mandalore?"

"I already fought one losing war for the Jedi. I'm not fighting another," Rau told Kanan, who was trying to convince him to join the Rebellion as he finished drinking the liquid from his bowl.

"You can't possibly believe in the Empire," Kanan said with disbelief.

"I believe they have the strength to defeat you and the resources to back it up," Rau explained as he placed the wallet-like device on the table, "Why would I fight the Empire when obviously destroying you is so much easier?"

"You must know the Empire isn't interested in sharing their power," Kanan told him, "In the end, everyone is their enemy. If we don't stand together, then we're all alone."

"Alone is who we are," Rau said after a few seconds of silence.

"Sir, we have an infiltrator," an Mandalorian Protector said, running into the building.

"Don't worry. I have the Jedi under control," Rau reassured him.

"I don't know anything about this Jedi, but a mandalorian trespasser has invoked the code," the Mandalorian Protector said, pointing outside with his thumb, "She claims she's House Vizsla."

"I assume she came here with you?" Rau asked Kanan.

"Let me handle this," Kanan said as he began to exit the building.

"I'm afraid it's out of your control now, Jedi," Rau said, stopping Kanan before running out of the building with Kanan following.

"Satele, I thought we had an agreement," Kanan said with confusion as he saw his Padawan surrounded by the Mandalorian Protectors, aiming their WESTAR-35s at her.

"They started it," Satele replied in self-defense.

"Your house is an enemy to the Protectors," Rau told her, "Call out your opponent for combat to the death."

"I thought you'd never ask," Satele said as she removed her helmet, "I call out you, Fenn Rau. You're gonna pay for what you did to Hera."

"Just like I said. You rebels fight battles you can't win," Rau said as he walked towards the space across from Satele, "I assume Hera is the fighter pilot I shot to pieces earlier. I guess she didn't make it."

"She's alive, barely," Satele said with anger in her voice.

"I got to admit this is an interesting development," Rau chuckled, "One of you came here to befriend me, the other came to kill me."

"We can't let you attack our fleet. But we'd rather leave here as friends," Kanan said, trying to stop them from fighting.

"He's already the enemy," Satele argued.

"Satele, this isn't what Hera would have wanted. She didn't want to create enemies and she wouldn't want you to die," Kanan told her, "Also how do you think your sister would react if you were killed?"

"I'm not planning on dying," Satele stated.

"I'm afraid the only way you're getting out of here alive is if she kills me, and that is not going to happen," Rau told them.

"What is it with you Mandalorians, never knowing how to solve anything except through the end of a blaster?" Kanan asked both Mandalorians, "Satele, you do this, you're no better than him."

"You have to trust me," Satele told him.

"Satele, you make this choice and, win or lose, the Empire is going to be all over this system and the fleet," Kanan said, trying to reason with her.

"Kanan, you need to stop talking now," Satele said as she and Rau entered a Mandalorian Standoff as they furrowed their eyes before they both grabbed their WESTAR-35s from their holsters and she fired them first, knocking his WESTAR-35s out of his hands, causing him to rub his wrist as she used her foot to kick her helmet to her hand before placing it back over her head, "There are alternatives to killing." She then clicked a button on her armor's control pad, causing the detonators to explode as she locked her arms together, destroying the ships as smoke engulfed the Mandalorians while Kanan ignited his lightsaber as he ran over to Satele and helped her to get back on her feet.

"Come on!" Kanan said after he helped her up as they entered the building behind them as one of the Mandalorian Protectors was stuck under rubble and fired their WESTAR-35 at them to which Kanan deflected the blaster bolt with his lightsaber.

"Capture them alive. I want them to watch their fleet burn," Rau told his Mandalorian Protectors as he stood up and ran to his fighter.

Kanan continued to deflect the blaster bolts from the Mandalorians WESTAR-35s as they fired them at Kanan and Satele, who fired her own WESTAR-35s back at them in retaliation as she jumped onto a chair behind her as the two Mandalorians that were firing upon them began to enter the building before Kanan Force pushed the table in front of them upwards as they hid behind it for cover.

"Are you feeling better now?" Kanan asked Satele as he took out his DL-18 blaster pistol, "You got to blow stuff up."

"I thought you'd be happy I didn't kill anyone," Satele said as Kanan fired his pistol at the Mandalorian Protectors before she did the same with her WESTAR-35s while the Mandalorian Protectors flipped over a table they were next to as well as they fired their WESTAR-35s at them.

"Actually I'm thrilled," Kanan said as he went back into cover with Satele doing the same.

"Well, here's the bad news, Rau's fighter is at the far end of the field and I wasn't able to set the charges on it before they captured me," Satele admitted.

"You're saying we should go after him?" Kanan asked her.

"Yes!" Satele answered, "For the first time today, we agree on something."

"Fine. But we're still not killing anyone," Kanan said as he reignited his lightsaber.

"You love making this hard for me," Satele groaned as she and Kanan got out from hiding as she activated her vambrace's personal shield as Kanan used his lightsaber to deflect the blaster bolts from the Mandalorian Protectors' WESTAR-35 as she used her personal shield to block the blaster bolts as they rushed out of the building as she fired her WESTAR-35s bac at them as she ran out the door and fired at the one that stood nearby outside the building before Kanan duced for cover.

From a distance, Kanan watch Rau entered his fighter's cockpit and began to run towards him as Satele fired her WESTAR-35s at the doorway as she saw a Mandalorian Protector standing there only for him to go back into hiding, causing the blaster bolt to hit the doorway's wall. She hid behind containers as the Mandalorian Protector, who ducked for cover, stood up and began firing at her as the one in the doorway fired at her yet again as he got out of hiding as well.

Meanwhile as this happened, Rau's fighter began to lift off of the ground and fired his fighter's laser cannons at him, which he evaded and used the Force to jump onto the ship's in front of the ship's window, but as this happened, Rau ignited his ship's thrusters, causing Kanan to lose his balance and almost fell off the ship, but luckily for him, he grabbed onto the back side of the ship.

"Chopper, I think we're done here," Satele said on the ground below where Kanan was on Rau's fighter as she activated her helmet's comlink before running off.

Back on Rau's fighter, Kanan got back up, only for Rau to notice this and tilted his fighter around to shake him off, only for Kanan to grab onto the wing.

"Kanan. How's the plan going?" Satele asked through his comlink as he tried climbing back up the wing.

"Just get up here!" He said as he grabbed his comlink after climbing up the wing onto his stomach.

"Okay! Hang on!" Satele said on his comlink as Rau flew his fighter higher in the atmosphere, causing Kanan to somewhat lose his grip as he nearly let go of the wing and grabbed his lightsaber and reignited it before slashing it against the ship's engines, causing it to slowly descend downwards a bit.

"Still think we can't win?" Kanan asked Rau after he tilted his ship towards the right side of him as the Phantom appeared in the distance and grabbed his lightsaber, aiming it towards the dashboard underneath the window, "Our ride's here."

"No!" Rau pleaded as Kanan ignited his lightsaber, disabling the controls of his ship before slashing the window away, Rau then pulled his WESTAR-35 out and fired at Kanan, only for Kanan to deflect the blaster bolt before deactivating his lightsaber and punched him, knocking Rau out.

"Kanan!" Satele called out to Kanan from the Phantom's rear hatch as she saw Kanan grab Rau before he Force jumped into the Phantom as the fighter began to spiral downwards before she chuckled as she closed the rear hatch, "When you set your mind to something, you're kind of frightening."

"How do you feel?" Kanan asked Rau as the Protector began to regain consciousness as the Phantom left Concord Dawn's third moon with Satele piloting the shuttle with her helmet removed from her head.

"Like a prisoner," Rau answered before his comlink started beeping.

"Better get that," Kanan told him.

"Are you crazy? You can't let a prisoner receive outside communications," Satele said in disbelief.

"Just answer it," Kanan insisted as the beeping continued.

"Sir, are you all right?" A Mandalorian Protector asked Rau on the comlink as he answered it, "We're marshalling our reserve starfighters for pursuit."

"Stand down. There's no need," Rau said, belaying that order.

"But, sir, if the Empire finds out about your capture…" the Mandalorian Protector said as he began to protest.

"You're not gonna let that happen," Rau ordered the Mandalorian Protector.

"And the rebels?" The Mandalorian Protector asked.

"Until I give the word, there is to be no mention of the rebels. And their ships are to be given safe passage through our system," Rau answered.

"You also need to tell him that they'd need to donate one of their spare Fang Fighters," Satele told Rau.

"And you'll have to donate one of our spare fighters to the rebels," Rau added.

"As you wish," the Mandalorian Protector said, deactivating his comlink.

A while later, Kanan had Rau stuncuffed as he escorted him through the corridor on Sato's command ship with Satele walking with him as she had her helmet under her arm.

"Welcome to the Rebellion," Kanan told Rau as he handed him over to his fellow rebels.

"Right now we are only friends because we have to be," Rau told him before being escorted by the other rebels.

"What does that mean?" Satele asked her master.

"Well, the Empire doesn't make a habit of rescuing people. The last thing Rau wants is Imperial ships all over his territory, and that's exactly what he'd get if they found out he was our prisoner," Kanan explained.

"Kanan, Sat," Sabine suddenly called as she approached them, "Hera wants to see you."

"I hear we're taking prisoners now," Hera said as Kanan and Satele entered the ship's medical bay to see her awake.

"I like to think of him more as a reluctant recruit," Kanan told her as Satele smirked at him.

"It was better than the alternative," Satele added as she approached her, "We're not at war with the protectors. There was no need to take their lives if we didn't have to."

"Hmm. Satele, you're sounding more like a Jedi than a Mandalorian," Hera told her.

"Well, I guess me and Sabine have been raised right," Satele explained before holding her hand as the three of them smiled.
