Lucia after finishing setting up her clinic left the house to find Eda and King. After looking around the owl house she failed to find Eda and King. Lucia then made her way down to the beach where she saw Eda and King talking. Going over to them Lucia saw Eda and King sign a page in a book; then Eda tossed an egg toward King which broke on his head releasing a tiny slug-like creature which slides down King's face and landed in his paws.

Lucia going over to King nervously asked, "what just happened. Because I'm getting the feeling that I just saw a really bad idea of a bet was just agreed upon."

King looking at Lucia says, "ha, bad bet more like a great bet. (holds slug-like creature toward Lucia) Once I train this creature to be my loyal soldier within a single day I shall rule the owl house with impunity then all of the isles."

Lucia looking at the slug-like creature then at the nearby corpse sees that the two are very similar and asks, "did that creature come from (points to corpse) that."

King still sounding self-assured replies, "yes, and once I train this trash slug into a loyal soldier, I will be unstoppable." King then ran off toward the owl house.

Lucia having seen the bet being made and learning of the task King had to complete says, "I have a really bad feeling about what will happen later."

Lucia returning to the owl house sees King working on training the tiny trash slug. While Eda was watching King train the creature while drinking some kind of drink that Lucia didn't want to know; because of the worm, whole eyeball, and spider that were in the purple solution which caused a shudder to run down Lucias' spine.

Lucia not wanting to listen to or witness the conversation that was going on went straight into the owl house and to her clinic; to work on cyberwear and new equipment that is going to be sold later to clients.

Lucia standing up from her workbench and looking at her current stock of products finds that she has produced several pieces of basic cyberwear from that scrapped junk that she has found around the owl house. Lucia looking at the time decides to go outside for a while. When Lucia stepped outside, she sees King celebrating with a giant trash slug behind him; while Eda looks upset and says something which Lucia didn't hear because she went back inside.

Once back inside Lucia got the feeling that she would have to kill something real soon and she didn't have any of her guns on her. Lucia rushed over to the kitchen and started looking for a knife.

Upon finding a knife which Lucia identified as a chief knife she heard the found of fighting. Rushing to look out a window Lucia sees a barrel of salt smashed on the ground with Eda and King up against a tree about to be eaten by the trash slug. Lucia rushes out of the owl house and says, "hey, ugly how about you fight someone closer to your size, fat ass."

The trash slug turns to Lucia and letting out a call of challenge charges at her. Lucia not frightened by the challenge in turn charged at the trash slug which opened its mouth and consumed Lucia whole after she jumped at the creature. Just as it seemed the trash slug had come out the victor and was about to go for seconds with Eda and King; it let out a cry of pain and falling against the owl house then its belly was cut open from the inside and out crawled Lucia.

Lucia then gave a death glare that would make any naturally born creature of the boiling isles cower in fear for their mother and said, "so what did we learn about taming wild animals while also making a bet out of it."

After scaring the living shit out of King and Eda Lucia made her way to the bathroom. Where Lucia stripped, turned on the warm water, and placed her clothes in a laundry hamper. Before Lucia could even start to get into the shower, she hears a knocking and knowing that there is only one resident who would knock right now calls out to Luz and she enters.

Lucia tells Luz to shower with her and they both get into the shower. Lucia had to restrain herself from fondling Luzs' butt and breasts just to listen to what Luz had to say and Lucia agrees to install the cyberware.

After the shower Lucia getting wrapped in a towel each Lucia and Luz go to Lucias' clinic. Once inside the clinic Luz and Lucia drop the towels. Lucia gets a few hair ties and ties her hair back while having Luz take a lay on the ripper operating table. Which looks fairly basic with it looking like one of those early 2000s operating tables and a little bit of electric hardware strewn around and on it.

Lucia gave Luz some painkillers and a knockout agent. Once Luz was out cold Lucia got to work; first Lucia worked on the trickiest piece the processor it took Lucia about 30 minutes, after that came the biomonitor, and knowing Luz would want to be able to just glance at the reading while in a fight, but not wanting to risk it Lucia placed one on both of Luzs' wrists the work took 10 minutes in total.

Once Lucia finished the work on Luz, she carried Luz bridal style to their room. After a short struggle opening the door, Lucia entered the room. Being gentle with putting down Luz, Lucia then got dressed in only her purple and white striped shirt, black jean shorts with her white socks with dark blue soles on her feet; and also got Luz dressed in her sleepwear. Lucia then left the room and went downstairs to talk with Luzs' friends.

Talking with them Lucia found out that Willow who could pass as Korean if she wanted to, loved plants and is just as skilled with that type of magic; Augustus, or Gus as he wanted to be called was a dark-skinned prodigy with illusions with a fascination of the human realm. Lucia answered Gus' questions the best she could until Luz appeared. Lucia seeing this as a chance took it. After having Luz takeover Lucia went up to their room and went to bed.

a/n: this was to help give a bit of context to what happened as well as to act as a show for the B-plot that happens because it happens with a good degree of regularity in season 1, and don't forget to vote in the poll the rules still apply and the end date is August 27. so please go and vote and here are a bit of spoilers for the outcome of the options.

discover: Luz and Lucia will use glyph magic to engineer new weapons and equipment; as for cyberware will not be compatible at least not without a whole new overhaul of the already installed stuff.

acquire: Luz and Lucia after an event that infuses them with ridiculous levels of magical bile Luz and Lucia must now work on controlling and using magic.
