"Hurry up, Zeb!" Hera said from the Ghost's cockpit as the ship was being chased by an Imperial Star Destroyer and a few TIE fighters as they were also chasing Sato's command ship and one of the Hammerhead corvettes along with a few A-wings as the Ghost flew next to the Hammerhead corvette on its side.
"Steady," Zeb said from the cargo hold as he was using the cargo hold's hoist as cargo containers were being pulled from the Ghost onto the Hammerhead corvette as he rotated the hoist's handle, locking the cargo container in place, "Cargo transfer complete."
"Thanks, Phoenix Squadron," the pilot of the Hammerhead corvette said as both ships detached from one another before the hammerhead corvette jumped into Hyperspace.
"Transport's clear. Let's get out of here," Hera said before two of the three A-wings jumped into Hyperspace.
"Phoenix Leader, my Hyperdrive is damaged. Attempting to dock," the remaining A-wing pilot told Hera as she began to rotate her A-wing towards the airlock of Sato's command ship.
"Make it quick, Phoenix Two. Those fighters are closing in!" Hera said with worry as a TIE fighter shot the A-Wing as it was attempting to dock with the corvette, destroying the A-wing and killing the pilot in the process.
"Phoenix Two is gone. We have to jump now!" A masculine voice said on the Ghost's comm system from the corvette before Sato's command ship jumped into Hyperspace before the Ghost followed them into Hyperspace.
"At best, our squadron is at half strength," Hera said to a hologram of Sato that Chopper projected with his holoprojector as she sat in the cockpit's pilot's seat with Kanan sitting in the co-pilot's seat as Satele entered the cockpit from the hallway that led to everyone's rooms, while the Ghost traveled through Hyperspace alongside Sato's command ship, "We're not just losing fighters we're losing pilots faster than we can replace them."
"Until we can find somewhere to land our fighters, including Satele's Mandalorian starfighter," Kanan added.
"Perhaps we can solve two problems at once," Sato suggested, "A rebel cell has reported an Imperial carrier over their world. If we can steal that ship, we can use it to house all our fighters, including Satele's starfighter. This cell is located in the Ryloth system."
"Ryloth?" Hera said as she recognized the Star System that he just mentioned, "I know the cell you're talking about. I'll contact them."
"You're actually gonna talk to him?" Kanan asked Hera with surprise after she got off the pilot's seat and crossed her arms as she began to leave the cockpit as Chopper switched his holoprojector off.
"I don't think we have much choice. We need that carrier," Hera explained, looking at him with the corner of her eye before leaving the room.
"What's wrong with Ryloth?" Satele asked her master after she watched Hera leave the room.
"Ryloth is Hera's home planet, Satele," Kanan answered.
"So, what's wrong with contacting them?" Satele asked him.
"Let's just say Hera has family problems like your sister does with your family back on Krownest," Kanan explained.
Inside the communications room, Hera was hesitant on contacting the rebel cell from the Ryloth system as she stood in front of the table before activating the holocommunicator as a hologram of a middle aged, orange skinned Twi'lek appeared before her on the holocommunicator.
"Hera," the orange skinned Twi'lek said, greeting her as he crossed his arms, "This is unexpected."
"Father, we need to talk," Hera told him.
A while later, a Nu-class attack/transport shuttle, carrying a TIE bomber docked with Sato's command ship as Hera, Kanan, Zeb, Chopper and the twins as they entered one of Sato's command ship's airlocks.
"How do I look?" Kanan asked Satele as he straightened himself up.
"Hmm, same as always," Satele answered, "Why do you seem a little on edge?"
"No reason," he answered, "Straighten up a bit. You're making me look bad."
"You're dodging the question," Satele told him.
"All right, if you really want to know, it's Hera's father," he answered, "I've never met him and I want to make a good first impression."
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do fine," she reassured him.
As she said that, Hera's father walked through the airlock's door along with a middle aged blue skinned Twi'lek male with purple eyes, a younger female Twi'lek with teal skin and pink eyes with white and orange armor pieces from a clone trooper on her left arm with the words 'Boil' on it written in Basic as three humans wearing phase II clone armor with teal markings stood behind them wearing a teal colored pauldrons over their shoulders with two of them having Macrobinocular viewplate rangefinders on their helmets as they were ARC troopers.
"It's been a long time, Father," Hera said, greeting her father.
"Ah. You must be the Jedi I've heard about," Hera's father said, looking at Kanan.
"Jarrus. Kanan Jarrus," Kanan introduced himself before stuttering, "I've…" he then cleared his throat, "...heard a lot about you too, sir." Hera's father then gave him a sly smile as Kanan gestured to the twins and Zeb, "And this is the rest of our crew. Satele, her sister, Sabine and Zeb." Chopper then grunted a protest.
"A fine group of fighters," Hera's father stated before introducing himself, "Cham Syndulla at your service."
"The liberator of Ryloth," Sabine said, recognizing his name, "I studied your Clone War tactics at the Academy."
"Yes," Cham chuckled as he placed his hand near his chin, "The Empire is still trying to figure out how to beat me." He then gestured to both Twi'leks that were next to him, "These are two of my finest warriors. Numa and Gobi."
"Who are the clones behind you?" Satele asked him.
"My name is Captain Howzer," one of the clones with the teal pauldron but didn't have the macrobinocular viewplate rangefinders answered as he removed his helmet to reveal that he was bald with a scar on his left cheek and another on the right side of his chin and his bald with a stubble of beard as he placed his helmet under his arm before gesturing to the other two clones as they removed their helmets as well to reveal that one of them had a full head of white hair, while the other was bald with a beard, "And these are my top lieutenants, Khan and Spinner."
"Well, we should get to the briefing," Hera said before walking away, "There's a lot to do."
"The Empire has a light carrier in orbit over Ryloth they use to bomb the Twi'lek rebels," Hera said as she, Kanan, Zeb and the twins stood in front of one side of the holotable in the debrifings room with her father, Numa, Gobi and the three clones on the other side of the holotable as a hologram of Ryloth with two imperial vessels hovering over the planet with one of them being an Imperial Light Cruiser and the other being a Quasar Fire-class Cruiser-carrier also known as an Imperial Lighter carrier before she zoomed the hologram in on the Imperial vessels, "The ship's well defended but we can get aboard using the stolen bomber while the squadron is away," she then pressed a button on the holotable again, causing the hologram to switch to the Nu-class attack/transport shuttle, carrying the stolen TIE bomber, "Our team secures the hangar, the other storms the bridge. Then we jump out before they figure out what hit them."
"No, this monstrosity has rained destruction and death on the citizens of Ryloth. It is not enough that it simply disappears," Cham said, arguing with his daughter as the hologram switched back to the Imperial vessels, "My people need to see it fall from the sky in flames as a symbol of our strength. So, I recommend a change in plans. Using my bomber, schematics and timetables we can destroy the carrier when it's most vulnerable."
"If you could have destroyed it you would have done so already," Hera told her father, "You need us and we need the carrier."
"We need each other," Kanan added, "Cham's intel, Hera's plan. This works, we all win."
"I agree with Hera and the Jedi, General," Howzer told Cham as he agreed with both Hera and Kanan.
"As do I," Spinner said, agreeing with Howzer.
"Me too," Khan said, agreeing with his fellow clones.
With that said, Cham turned to Gobi and then to Numa before staring back at them as he crossed his arms, "Very well. With Jedi on our side, how can we fail?"
"Thanks for the support, Howzer," Hera told Howzer as her father, Numa, Gobi, Kanan, Zeb, the twins, Khan and Spinner left the debriefings room.
"No problem, Hera," he told her, "Besides, we've always been close especially after your mother was killed."
"That means a lot to me, but I also want to thank you for not reporting me after I spied on that Imperial refinery on Ryloth all those years ago," she told him.
"You don't need to thank me for that, Hera. It was at that moment that I started to realize the Empire was doing something dangerous," he said before leaving the room as he placed his helmet back over his head.
"Hey, what's going on between you and your father?" Satele asked Hera as she handed her a wrench as she was helping her work on Chopper a bit in a room on the Ghost as they sat next to each other, "Kanan said that like Sabine with our family back on Krownest, you have family problems but didn't explain why."
"We haven't spoken in years," Hera said before explaining to the Mandalorian what her problem with her father was, "He was a hero in the Clone War fought with the Jedi to free Ryloth from the droid army. But after the war, the Republic became the Empire and refused to leave so he started fighting them after he was framed for attempting to assassinate the then Senator Orn Free Taa of Ryloth, who accused me of treason after he, an Imperial Vice Admiral and an elite Imperial clone trooper caught me, Gobi and a fellow Twi'lek smuggling weapons onto Ryloth from offworld from a batch of rogue clones, so after he and my mother rescued me, he started fighting them. Once my mother was killed in the resistance Ryloth's freedom became the most important thing to him."
"More important than family?" Satele asked her when suddenly Cham appeared in the doorway as the door slid open.
"It's almost time," Cham said as he walked into the room as Satele stood up, "We should head out soon."
"Well, there's nothing more important to me than my family and Mandalore," Satele said before walking out of the room with the door closing behind her.
"Is that the old astromech you found during the Clone War?" Cham asked his daughter as he pointed at Chopper.
"His name is Chopper," Hera told him as she stood up with Chopper grunting as he rolled towards her leg from behind.
"If you gave me half the attention you gave this second-rate junk pile we'd have liberated Ryloth by now," Cham sighed, causing Chopper to grunt as he waved one of his metal arms at him, "This is what's wrong with you, child. You hold onto the wrong things, devote your time and effort to lost causes," he then crossed his arms as he turned around, "What a waste."
"I am not wasting my life," Hera argued as her accent switched to her native Rylothian one as she began to get angry at him, "I help people. I lead ships into battle. I am part of something bigger."
"The Rebellion," Cham said with distaste in his voice as he turned around towards her, "I thought you knew better than to put your faith in outsiders besides Howzer and his squad. You forget what happened when we trusted the Republic."
"This is different. The rebels are fighting to free everyone," Hera told him as she continued to speak in her native accent.
"Free everyone? I don't care about everyone. I only care about Ryloth," Cham said as he left the room and stood in the doorway as he stared into the hallway as Hera crossed her arms.
"So I've noticed," Hera muttered as her accent switched back to the one she's been using for years since she left Ryloth as her father walked away with the door sliding shut before she crouched down in front of Chopper.
A while later, the Nu-class attack/transport shuttle, carrying the TIE bomber detatched from Sato's command ship with Hera piloting the shuttle as two A-wings flew alongside the Nu-class attack/transport shuttle as it jumped into Hyperspace with the A-wings entering Hyperspace before the shuttle did.
Kanan was sitting on a seat inside the TIE bomber across from the pilot's room as he was sitting a ross from Cham, with Sabine holding her helmet in her hands, who was sitting next to Kanan across from Numa and with Zeb sitting next to Sabine and across from Satele and like her sister, she was holding her helmet in her hands as Howzer sat next to her with Khan sitting across from him with Spinner sitting next to him and like the twins, all three clones held their helmets in their hands.
"Master Windu spoke highly of your heroics at the Battle of Lessu," Kanan told Cham as he broke the silence.
"Ah. Mace Windu, hmm," Cham said as he began reminiscing the Battle of Lessu during the Techno Union's occupation of Ryloth also known as the Separatist invasion of Ryloth during the first two years of the Clone Wars, "Outnumbered 100 to one we charged across Lessu's energy bridge to certain doom. We would not be stopped. They named that attack in songs the Hammer of Ryloth." He chuckled as he said that, while Hera, who was sitting in the cockpit closed the door to the room where her father was chatting with her boyfriend before crossing her arms with Gobi sitting in a seat behind her along with Chopper standing in the middle of the floor behind her and next to Gobi.
"Cham has taken a shine to your Jedi," Gobi stated.
"More the other way around, uncle," Hera told him.
"General Syndulla, I could listen to your stories all day," Kanan told Cham as he entered the cockpit and sat down in the seat next to Hera.
"And I could tell them all day," Cham chuckled before Hera closed the door with the console in front of her.
"Your father's not such a bad guy," Kanan told her, "I see a lot of him in you." She stared at him as he said that, "You're both great leaders trying to help people."
"You don't know him like I do," she scoffed.
"So, Howzer do you know Captain Rex?" Satele asked Howzer as she turned to him.
"I sure do, Satele," Howzer answered, "Me, him and Commander Cody trained together on Kamino before being assigned to our Clone Battalions, mine being the 450th Clone Attack Battalion."
The Nu-class attack/transport shuttle soon jumped out of Hyperspace near Ryloth as the TIE bomber detached from the shuttle as Cham entered the cockpit.
"Gobi, get ready for landing," Cham told Gobi as he walked past him before sitting in a seat next to his daughter as Gobi entered the other room and sat next to Sabine, "If the Empire is on schedule they should be sending their bombers to the surface which will make the ship more vulnerable."
"They're always on schedule," Hera told her father as she piloted the bomber, while six TIE bombers departed from the light carrier before she clicked a button on the console, "There they go. I'm signaling the A-wings. Let's hope this works."
With that said, both A-wings suddenly jumped out of Hyperspace and began firing upon the bomber as part of their plan.
"Bomber pilot to carrier," Kanan said, putting on an Imperial accent as he contacted the carrier with the bomber's comm system, "We are under attack by rebel fighters! Request permission for emergency landing!"
"Incoming bomber, transmit your clearance code," the carrier's captain requested from the bridge of the carrier as he stood between two Imperial officers.
"Code is 7-2-5...ahh!" Kanan said on the carrier's comm system.
"Proceed to bay two," the captain told Kanan, "We'll cover you."
Just then, one of the shots from the A-wings hit the bomber in the back, slightly damaging its engine as the bomber began to approach the carrier as the carrier began firing back at the A-wings, causing them to turn around and retreat before jumping back to Hyperspace, leaving the Ryloth system.
"Rebels have fled," the carrier's captain announced from the carrier's bridge.
"We've been hit! Coming in hot!" Kanan exclaimed on the carrier's comm system.
"Might consider slowing down," Kanan suggested as he turned to his girlfriend as the bomber got closer to the carrier.
"This has to look good," she reminded him, "Hang on!"
"I hate it when she says that," Zeb grunted from the other room before the bomber flew into the hangar of the carrier, crash landing in the process, causing everyone in both rooms but Hera to fall onto the floor as they lost their balance before the bomber skidded past stacked boxes near one of the Hangar's walls before stopping at the wall.
"Get a squad down there. Initiate crash protocols," the carrier's captain ordered an Imperial officer that was behind him in the bridge, who was standing at a command center.
With that said, four stormtroopers ran down one of the halls of the carrier to the hangar with an Imperial officer running them from behind as a mouse droid roamed the hall ahead of them, chirping.
"Explosives?" Sabine said as she began to get up as she watched a few detonators roll out of a bag in front of her.
"Sorry, my friends," Numa apologized as she and Gobi stood above them, aiming DC-17 blaster pistols at her, Satele, Zeb and the clones.
"What?" Satele said in disbelief.
"I suspected they were gonna do that," Howzer muttered.
"Traitors!" Sabine yelled at both Twi'leks.
"Numa, Gobi, think about what you're doing," Howzer told them.
"No, wait!" Zeb pleaded before he, the twins and the clones were stunned with the DC-17 blaster pistols as both Twi'leks fired stun blasts at them.
"I heard shots," Kanan groaned, holding the back of his head as he sat next to Chopper in the cockpit when Cham suddenly aimed a modified DL-44 blaster pistol at him before he fired a stun blast at the Jedi, knocking him unconscious.
"Father, what are you doing?" Hera asked her father as she got off of the pilot's seat as Cham stunned Chopper with the blaster pistol, powering him down before falling on the floor.
"We only needed your help to get on board. I'm sorry," Cham explained to her with Hera widening her eyes as Gobi entered the cockpit before Cham stuncuffed her to the pilot's seat.
Outside the wrecked TIE bomber, an astromech was in front of the side of the bomber extinguishing the fire with a stormtrooper standing by the droid, while a stormtrooper commander approached the droid as two other stormtroopers ran towards the bomber from behind with one of them inspecting the front of the bomber when he saw a Twi'lek silhouette climb up from the bomber's hatch with a backpack over their back.
"Pilot," the stormtrooper said, calling out the Twi'lek, who jumped down from the bomber after taking their back and held it in their hand as the Twi'lek's silhouette disappeared, revealing that they were Cham Syndulla as an Imperial officer standing next to the stormtrooper as they aimed their E-11 blaster rifle at him, "Drop your weapon! Hands up!" But after he ordered this, Cham threw his backpack at him before punching him in the helmet as he turned the Imperial officer and elbowed him, knocking him out as well.
"Freeze! Don't move!" One of the stormtroopers in front of him ordered as the stormtroopers aimed their blaster rifles at him when suddenly Numa and Gobi appeared from behind and began to attack the stormtroopers as the stormtrooper in front of Cham turned around and began firing his blaster rifle at Gobi, only for Gobi to fire his DC-17 blaster pistol at him, killing the stormtrooper.
"Set your charges on the munitions racks," Cham ordered Numa and Gobi as they walked away from the dead stormtroopers and Imperial officer, "I'm going for the engine room."
Hera slowly bent down to the floor, groaning before kicking Chopper's dome with her foot to wake him up, "Chopper!" Chopper started grunting as he powered back up as Hera kicked his dome again, not knowing that he was powering back up, "Chopper, get up!" Chopper then grunted as he stood up and started grunting as he took out both of his metal arms and used one of his arms to fire a spark projector at her stuncuffs to unlock them, "Yes, I know my father betrayed us. Thanks for the update, buddy." She then rubbed her hand against her wrist before running up to Kanan to wake him up, "Kanan, come on! Kanan, wake up!"
"On second thought, I don't like your father anymore," Kanan groaned with his hand over the left side of his face as he woke up when Satele suddenly entered the cockpit with her helmet over her head.
"Um, Hera, uh, our Twi'lek friends have bags full of detonators," Satele informed them as Sabine and the clones walked in with their helmets over their heads with Zeb entering the cockpit as well.
"Enough to blow this carrier," Sabine added, "We're scrubbing the mission, right?"
"If I know Hera as I've had since she was a kid then the answer is no," Howzer told the Mandalorian.
"You're right, Howzer, we're finishing the mission," Hera confirmed, "We'll stop my father, then we'll steal the ship."
"We'll take the bridge with Howzer," Kanan said as he stood up, while Hera opened the hatch and climbed through it, "Zeb, you, Sabine and the rest of the clones check the munitions rack for those detonators."
"They blow those up, and this whole ship will go, too," Sabine told Zeb as Kanan and Satele climbed up the hatch with Howzer beginning to climb up the hatch as well, "Everyone on Ryloth will be able to see that fireball."
"I think that's the idea," Zeb told her as she climbed the hatch before he, Spinner and Khan climbed up the hatch as well.
"Sir, we've lost contact with the containment squad," the Imperial officer at the command center behind the carrier's captain informed the carrier's captain on the Bridge.
"I want a full detachment sent to the adjacent hangar," the carrier's captain told him.
"There's Numa," Sabine said, holding both of her WESTAR-35s in her hands as she, Zeb Khan and Spinner stood in a corner and crouched as she saw Numa hiding near proton bombs before she turned to Zeb and the clones, "Get down!"
"I can stun her from here," Zeb suggested as he grabbed his bo-rifle from his back and aimed it at the female Twi'lek only for Sabine to lower it, "Hey!"
"You hit one proton bomb, and you'll touch off the whole magazine," Sabine explained.
"And that would cause a chain reaction, causing the carrier to blow sky-high," Khan added, agreeing with Sabine.
"Also if you do that, Phoenix Squadron will never capture this carrier," Spinner said, agreeing with Sabine and Khan.
"I wasn't planning to miss," Zeb said, only to grunt as Numa fired her DC-17 at them, only for her to miss after she noticed the four of them.
"You three should've let me!" Zeb told the Mandalorian and both clones.
"You'll get your chance," Sabine promised him as both Numa and Gobi began firing their DC-17 blaster pistols at them and like Numa before, they both missed as Gobi hid behind one of the proton bombs as the blast doors suddenly opened with a squadron of stormtroopers entering the hangar, firing their E-11 blaster rifles, "See? There's something you can shoot."
"That's better than Numa or Gobi at the moment," Khan said, agreeing with Sabine.
"Yeah, I agree, Khan," Spinner said, agreeing with Sabine and Khan.
"That'll do," Zeb said as he began firing at the stormtroopers as both Khan and Spinner pulled out dual pairs of DC-17 blaster pistols from their armor's holsters and began firing at them too as Gobi and Numa began firing at the stormtroopers as well, while Sabine fired her WESTAR-35s at the blast door's control panel, causing the blast door to descend and closed behind every stormtrooper but one, who fell on their back within the hangar's floor as a mouse droid rolled next to him, chirping before rolling away.
"General, the rebels are awake," Numa said, contacting Cham with her comlink, "They are trying to stop us."
"Is Hera with them," Cham asked, using his comlink as he was in a firefight with stormtroopers in one of the carrier's halls.
"No. It is just the Lasat, one of the Mandalorians and two of the clones," Numa answered.
"Set the charges. I will deal with my daughter," Cham told her before he fired his blaster at one of the stormtroopers in the chest after taking care of the rest of the stormtroopers, killing them before he walked forward.
In another section of the ship, Kanan was holding his lightsaber as he exited a turbolift with Satele, Hera, Howzer and Chopper exiting the turbolift after him with Satele holding her lightsaber, Hera holding her blaster and with Howzer holding dual DC-17s in his hands.
"Blast 'em!" A stormtrooper, who was standing next to another stormtrooper in one of the carrier's hallways ordered as both Kanan and Satele appeared at the end of the hallway and extended their arms out towards them and used the Force to push them, knocking them backwards and landed on each other before Kanan appeared in a room containing blast doors and stormtroopers.
"Close the blast doors," one of the stormtroopers ordered and as he said that, one of his fellow stormtroopers pressed a button on the panel next to him, causing the blast doors within the hallway began to close slowly as the stormtroopers aimed their E-11 blaster rifles at them.
"Satele, now!" Kanan said, calling Satele's name as she ran into the doorway, in front of him before he extended both of his arms out as he used the Force to push her across the hall as she flew into the next blast door of the hallway and took out one of her WESTAR-35s and fired a blaster bolt at the stormtrooper in front of her as she landed in the section of the hallway that the stormtrooper that she just shot with her blaster was at before she saw Kanan climbing one of the closing blast doors as she extended her arms out towards him and used the Force to pull him into the next section of the hallway and ignited his lightsaber as he flew through two blast doors ahead of her as the blast door that he flew through closed shut as did the blast door in front of him before he stabbed his saber into the blast door, surprising the stormtroopers on the other side of the blast door and moved his lightsaber around in a circle before using the Force to push it towards the stormtroopers on the other side before it flew towards both stormtroopers, knocking them out as the circle-shaped part of that blast door that he cut with his lightsaber flew into the stormtrooper near the final door as they fell on the floor, unconscious with the part of the blast door that he cut with his lightsaber falling in front of the stormtroopers as he turned around and saw Satele, Hera and Howzer running through the hallway with Chopper rolling behind them, "After you." Hera, Satele and Howzer then jumped through the hole as Chopper used his rocket booster to fly through the hole.
"Chopper, get this door open," Hera requested before he grunted a response as he rolled over to the door's astromech port, plugging his scomp link into it before it opened up.
"Nice job, Chopper as always," Howzer complimented the astromech as they walked through the door as they began to continue heading towards the Bridge.
"We don't have time for a standoff," Zeb told Sabine and the clones, while Numa hid behind one of the proton bombs as Gobi hid behind some crates before he turned to them, "Either of you got any ideas?"
"Yeah, I do," Sabine answered as she pointed at the mouse droid that was chirping as it rolled around the hangar, "Catch me that droid."
"Are you planning what I think you're planning?" Khan asked her.
"I think she is," Spinner told him.
"Stand down!" Hera ordered the Imperial officer that was standing by the command center as she entered the Bridge of the carrier with Kanan, who immediately ignited his lightsaber as he entered the Bridge and deflected the carrier captain's blaster bolt as he fired one from his RK-3 blaster pistol, causing the blaster bolt to be deflected back at the blaster pistol, causing it to be knocked out of his hand as Satele and Howzer entered the Bridge as well with the clone having his DC-17s in his hands. Hera then motioned the two Imperial officers, who were at the controls to step away from the controls with her blaster pistol as they stood up.
"I have already contacted reinforcements," the carrier's captain told her as the two other Imperial officers walked down the stairs from the controls.
"Thanks for the heads-up," Hera told him as she held her blaster pistol at him at blaster point, "Kanan, Satele, which one of you want to do your thing?"
"I'll do it," Satele answered as she walked up to the carrier's captain and waved one of her hands in front of him as she went to use a Jedi Mind Trick on him, "You're going to abandon ship."
"We are going to abandon ship," the carrier's captain said as her Jedi Mind Trick worked on him before he walked over to the carrier's intercom, "The fire in hangar bay three is out of control. Abandon ship. Get to the escape pods."
"'I really meant it. This is the captain,'" Satele said as she waved her hand in front of him again as she used another Jedi Mind Trick on him.
"I really mean it. This is the captain," the carrier's captain said, repeating what she said as the TIE fighter pilots in one of the hangars went towards separate TIE fighters as they began to take off, "Get to the escape pods. Abandon ship. The fire is out of control."
"You should get going," Satele said, using another Jedi Mind Trick on the carrier's captain.
"I should get going," the carrier's captain said, repeating her yet again before running out of the Bridge.
"Nice job on the Jedi Mind Trick, Satele," Howzer complimented the Mandalorian.
"All right, Hera. We're on the clock," Kanan told Hera as he turned to her, "Get us outta here."
"The Bridge is secure. What's your status?" Kanan asked as he contacted Zeb, who was hiding behind a corner with Khan and Spinner next to him on his left side, while Sabine sat on his right side, rigging the mouse droid.
"Oh, the usual. But Sabine has a plan of sorts," Zeb answered, holding his comlink in his hand.
"Yeah. Sort of a great plan," Sabine said before setting the mouse droid with a detonator implanted on the top of the droid and clicked a button on her armor's control pad, causing the mouse droid to reactivate as it began to chirp as it rolled around as she clicked another button on her armor's control pad, causing the mouse droid to roll around the corner, towards Numa and Gobi as Gobi began to fire his blaster pistol at it, only to miss as Sabine clicked yet another button on her armor's control pad, causing the mouse droid to roll around both Twi'leks before crashing into one of the proton bombs as an electral surge suddenly erupted from the detonator, nearly knocking both Numa and Gobi out.
"That was a great plan, Sabine," Khan told the Mandalorian.
"Yeah, it was," Spinner said, agreeing with Khan.
"Well, Sabine's plan actually worked," Zeb said, using his comlink as he approached Numa, who was trying to stand up.
"Hey, don't sound so surprised," Sabine said as she grabbed Gobi's blaster pistol as he tried to stand back up, while Khan grabbed Numa's blaster and put it away.
"There's no sign of Cham," Zeb added.
"Find him," Kanan said, using his comlink from the Bridge of the carrier.
"Better hurry," Satele added as she stood at the command center with Howzer standing next to her when Cham suddenly entered the Bridge, aiming his blaster in front of him.
"We are not going anywhere," Cham informed them.
"Don't do this, General," Howzer begged him.
"You're too late, Father," Hera told her father before turning to her astromech, "Chopper, make the jump to Hyperspace." Chopper grunted as he had his scomp link plugged into the Bridge's astromech port, "The Hyperdrive's offline?" She then looked at her father with the corner of her eye, "What did you do?"
"I must destroy this ship for Ryloth," he explained as he took his comlink out, "Gobi, Numa proceed with our plans."
"Apologies, General Syndulla. We've been captured," Numa told him on his comlink.
"Cham, we don't have time for this. Imperial reinforcements will be coming," Kanan told him.
"General, if you destroy this ship, then the Empire will just send another to replace it," Howzer told Cham.
"Howzer's right, Father," Hera said, agreeing with the clone as she approached her father, "But if we take it, we can use it to fight them."
"You haven't been here to see what the Empire has done to our world," Cham said as he pushed her forward towards the Bridge's deck, "They plunder our wealth and sell our people into slavery. This ship must burn, for all Ryloth to see."
Meanwhile on board an Imperial shuttle that was docked with the Light Cruiser's docking port, a combat driver was setting up an E-Web repeating blaster cannon with stormtroopers inside the shuttle with another combat driver standing behind another E-Web repeating blaster cannon in the back of the shuttle's troop bay with a stormtrooper commander standing in the center of the troop bay as the shuttle detached from the light cruiser and began heading towards the light carrier with four TIE fighters accompanying them.
"I want freedom from the Empire as badly as you but this battle can't be won on Ryloth alone," Hera started as she turned on the ship's intercom for Zeb, Sabine, Khan, Spinner, Gobi and Numa to hear her from the hangar, "During the Clone War, you didn't just fight for a village you rallied everyone to liberate the entire planet. You inspired me. The Rebellion is no different. But either you couldn't see that or you didn't believe in me. And that's why I left."
"She's right," Satele said, agreeing with Hera, "We have the ship. We just have to buy her enough time to get us out of here."
"Also, General, what do you think Eleni would think if she were here and saw what you're doing?" Howzer asked him.
"I am with you, Hera," Gobi said from the hangar as he stood up.
"I am also with you," Numa said, agreeing with Gobi on the Bridge's intercom.
"Well, Father?" Hera asked as she crossed her arms.
"I guess you have your chance to prove me wrong," Cham said, walking forward after placing his blaster back in its holster.
"Everyone, get to the turrets," Hera ordered as she rushed to the dashboard.
"Uh, Hera, maybe me and Sabine could use our Battle Meditation instead," Satele suggested, "I'm more skilled than she is at it, but with it we can help inspire the others to have more luck in fighting the Imperials."
"Ok, Satele, you and your sister can do that," Hera told her.
"Sabine, come meet me in the Bridge, we're gonna use our Battle Meditation to help inspire the others," Sabine said, contacting her sister with her helmet's comlink.
"On my way, Sis," Sabine said from the hangar into her wrist communicator as she began to head towards the hangar, while Zeb, Numa, Gobi and the clones headed towards the ship's turrets.
"Father, tell Chopper how to fix the Hyperdrive," Hera told her father as Howzer and Kanan hopped into two separate gun turrets, while Khan and Numa hopped into two seperate gun turrets as well, "Focus all fire on that shuttle. We can't let them retake the ship."
"Satele, are you ready?" Sabine asked her sister as she entered the Bridge.
"I am," Satele answered as Sabine approached her as they sat down on the floor in a meditation position as they began to use their Battle Meditation to help inspire the others.
"Five targets inbound!" Kanan announced as he rotated his gun turret and destroyed one of the TIE fighters.
"I'm on 'em!" Khan said as he rotated his gun turret as well and began firing his turret, only to miss with Gobi destroying one of the TIE fighters.
"They got past me!" Numa said as she rotated her gun turret.
"I see 'em!" Howzer said as he fired at the TIE fighters, destroying one of them as one of his turbolasers from the turrets collided with one of the TIE fighters.
"Kanan, the shuttle!" Hera reminded her boyfriend.
"I know, I know!" Kanan said as he began firing upon the shuttle and within a few seconds of firing upon the shuttle, the ship began to go down.
"That was a tough battle!" Howzer stated.
"Your victory will be brief," Cham said from the Bridge as he saw the six TIE bombers that were deployed to Ryloth earlier flying back to the light carrier, "As I feared, the bombers have returned."
"We're not in the clear yet," Hera said into the intercom as the TIE bombers began to fire cyan colored torpedoes at the carrier, while Sabine and Satele continued to use their Battle Meditation to inspire the others.
"Incoming torpedoes!" Kanan announced from the turret he was controlling.
"Taking evasive action," Hera said into the intercom.
"Two targets at 3.9," Khan said as he fired at the two torpedoes heading towards them and hit one of them, "Ugh! Missed one!"
"I've got it!" Numa told Khan and destroyed the other torpedo with her turret, while the TIE bombers began to bomb the ship with torpedoes from above.
"Lousy Imps!" Zeb said as two of the TIE bombers flew past the turret he was controlling and began to fire the turret at them and destroyed one of them with Gobi destroying the other one.
"Howzer!" Hera yelled as two of the bombers fired torpedoes at the Bridge.
"On it!" Howzer responded as he fired at the torpedoes with his turret, while Kanan fired at the other torpedo but only at the last second as the torpedo neared the Bridge, causing the controls of the console of where Hera was sitting to start sparking with electricity.
"What just happened?" Satele asked as her armor's boots magnetically locked themselves to the floor as she and Sabine stopped using their Battle Meditation.
"Lost our stabilizer," Hera answered the Mandalorian as Chopper rolled past her, while the carrier began to tilt downwards with Cham grabbing onto one of the computer systems next to Hera, stopping him from falling towards the wall and began to climb it as Sabine grabbed onto the command console behind her and Satele.
Soon, Howzer fired at one of the two remaining TIE bombers and destroyed it with his gun turret, while Kanan destroyed the last one with his turret.
"Come on!" Hera muttered as she tried pulling the carrier's control sticks towards her when her father grabbed onto it as well and the carrier soon stabilized.
"We were always stronger together," Cham told her after sighing.
"The rebels have stabilized the carrier," an Imperial officer on the Light Cruiser's Bridge reported to the Imperial officer behind him as he and another Imperial officer were sitting at the Bridge's controls.
"All ahead full. We must not allow them to escape," the Imperial officer behind them ordered.
"The light cruiser is coming after us, but I think I know a way to stop it," Satele said as she saw the Light Cruiser heading towards them.
"I'll help you," Cham told her as he stood up before she turned to Hera.
"It's okay," Hera reassured her, "Go. Hurry!"
"Droid, I shut down the Hyperdrive's power coupling on the third and fourth reactor," Cham told Chopper before exiting the Bridge with the astromech grunting a response.
"Sabine, I'll need your help," Satele told her sister as she began to exit the Bridge, "We need to get to the hangar."
"Okay. Let's go, Sis," Sabine said as she followed her out of the Bridge.
"We've armed the explosives," Satele told Cham as both Mandalorians stood in one of the TIE bombers with him after they placed two of the proton bombs in the bomber's cockpit.
"Do either of you think this ridiculous plan will work?" Cham asked both Mandalorians.
"Yeah," Sabine answered before she placed a final detonator on the proton bom in front of her before hopping out of the TIE bomber, "Kinda fun, isn't it?" Satele and Cham hopped out of the TIE bomber as well and climbed onto the catwalk above the TIE bomber as Sabine pressed a button on her armor's control pad, causing it to detach from its holder before both Mandalorians used the Force to jump down from the catwalk and onto the hangar floor below them, "I set the anti-grav. We just need to give it a push." With that said, both Mandalorians began to use the Force to push the TIE bomber off the carrier before letting it dift towards the Light Cruiser as Sabine looked up at Cham, "You wanted to blow something up. Now's your chance."
"They've set one of the bombers adrift," one of the Imperial officers on the Light Cruiser's Bridge, operating the controls told the Imperial officer behind him.
"A foolish tactic. Expect more obstacles, but stay on course," the Imperial officer behind him replied.
Cham then hopped in one of the Cruiser's gun turrets as he left the catwalk and fired at the TIE bomber as it approached the Light Cruiser, causing an explosion to occur within the Light Cruiser as it began to go down.
"The forward magazine's been hit!" The Imperial Officer on the Light Cruiser behind the Imperial officer's controlling the ship said as the Light Cruiser began to fall down towards Ryloth below.
"For you, my people," Cham said to himself as he watched the Light Cruiser go down.
"All right, let's see what she can do," Hera said on the carrier's Bridge after Chopper grunted to her, informing her that the Hyperdrive was now operational and with that the carrier jumped into Hyperspace.
"I'm getting reports from all over Ryloth. Our people are rallying against the Empire. Every hour, more join our ranks," Cham told the Ghost crew with both Mandalorians having their helmets off as he stood next to his Nu-class attack/transport shuttle in the hangar of the Quasar Fire-class Cruiser-carrier soon after the carrier joined the rebel fleet of Phoenix Squadron and as an A-wing docked with the carrier and landed next to Satele's Fang fighter.
"Glad to hear it, sir," Kanan told him.
"Daughter, may we speak?" Cham asked Hera.
"Yes, we can, Father," Hera answered, "But I want to ask Howzer a question first."
"What do you want to ask me, Hera?" Howzer asked her as she approached him as he stood a few feet away from them.
"I just wanted to ask you how you escaped from Imperial custody as I was surprised to see you, Khan and Spinner," Hera answered.
"We were able to break out of Imperial custody when clones started to be phased out in favor of stormtroopers by tricking and outsmarting them," Howzer explained to her.
"Thanks for telling me, Howzer, but my father wants to speak with me, so see you later," Hera told him as she began to walk towards her father and the two of them began to walk together.
"When you left, I was heartbroken but now I understand," Cham told her, "You're like your mother. She was once a dreamer, too."
"But, I learned to be a leader by watching you," she told him before hugging him for a second.
"Hmm. I am proud of you, Captain Syndulla," Cham said before departing in his Nu-class attack/transport shuttle with Numa, Gobi and the clones with Kanan, Hera, Zeb and the twins watching it leave.
