Angelica remained by Julius's side while Delark looked over the boy's vitals. After a while Delark removed his glasses pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. He told the maid and Angelica that Julius wouldn't regain consciousness again till the next day, or he might even remain unconscious for another three days. Angelica gripped the hems of her dress while Delark explained all of this to her. Angelica bit her lower lip while she took one last glimpse of the unconscious Julius in a restless sleep on his bed. The maid Erica, gave her shoulder a reassuring pat before they both left the room and closed the door.

"Prince Julius," Delark muttered. "I do hope that you will wake soon, I have so many questions to ask of you…" He checked the boy's pulse one more time before getting up off the chair he was sitting on next to Julius's bed, closed up his medicine bag and he too left the room, but lingered to look at Julius a few more moments before slowly and silently shutting the door.

Julius's eyes opened, the maid that had given him that awful purple medicine was opening the drapes to let in some sunlight. She gasped when she noticed that Julius was awake and looking at her.

"Prince Julius," her eyes started to water. "You're awake once more you've had all of us very worried, even your mother has stopped by your room a few times despite her busy schedule." The maid walked over to the foot of his bed. "It's been two days now. How are you feeling?"

"Better,"— Julius answered with a slight wince, even though he still had that headache it wasn't nearly as intense as the first time he'd regained consciousness. —"though this damned headache is still a pain."

"Ah," The maid smiled while she walked over to that cart of hers, a sense of foreboding overcame Julius when he noticed the same opaque bottle with the purple medicine that tasted like moldy maggot covered anchovy pizza. "I have just the thing for you…" She still had that smile on her face when she brought the spoon full of vial liquid over to him. She even held her free hand under it in case she spilled any.

"You know," Julius closed his eyes and raised his index finger. "A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down," he sing songed.

Erica halted and blinked. "I'm sorry your highness, but I don't…"

Julius lifted his hand and shook his head to stop her. "You probably wouldn't get the reference…"

"No you're highness," she frowned while she looked at the spoon she was carrying. "Would you like me to fetch a spoon full of sugar for you?" she glanced at the door. "I believe that it's Jilk sama's tea time…"

Julius sighed and shook his head. "Never-mind, just hurry up and give me that vial stuff!"

His maid seemed to hesitate at bit, but then Julius opened his mouth. He grimaced and gagged when she put the spoon in his mouth. "Don't worry your highness," She turned on her heels and went back to the cart to put the spoon down and poured out a glass of lemonade that had a multitude of ice cubes floating in it.

Julius was ecstatic when Erica handed him the glass of lemonade. It had only a hint of bitterness that was drowned out by the sweet taste of sugar.

"Well," Julius beamed. "It isn't a spoon full of sugar… instead it's a glass full of lemonade! Poor Marry Poppins got that one wrong."

"Marry who," Erica tilted her head and looked really confused and worried. "Are you going to replace me as your personal attendant Julius Sama. Have I offended you in some way?" She was about in tears again.

"No, no," Julius emphatically shook his head. "Nothing of the sort," He sipped his lemonade the ice clinking in the glass felt like a full barrage of cannon fire to Erica's ears, she swallowed nervously while Julius finished off his glass and handed it to her for a refill.

"By the way," Julius startled Erica so badly she jumped and almost spilled both the half full glass and the pitcher of lemonade. "I don't know your name miss maid… san?"

Erica took a deep breath before turning around, she gracefully walked over to his bedside and gave him back the full glass. "My name is Erica your highness." She said giving him a curtsy.

"Erica," Julius smiled when his eyes met hers, she gasped and blushed having to cover her mouth with both hands when he did. "Such a pretty name, it matches you well."

What, what, what, what… Erica thought while steam issued from her head. Did his highness really call me pretty… but he's the crown prince… and I'm a maid…

"Erica… san," Julius startled her again, though she was still blushing hard she nodded to him. "I think I've had too much to drink and I really need to use the bathroom." He began squirming under his sheets.

"Oh," Erica cried. "Yes your highness!" She pulled out a strangely shaped glass bottle that had a spout looking thing on it out from under her cart. "I've brought this just in case…"

Julius went wide eyed when he realized that it was a urinal, he emphatically shook his head. "No," he cried with a red face. "I just wanted you to tell me where the bathroom is!"

"Oh," Erica returned the urinal under the cart, Julius sighed when the cloth that was draped over the cart hid it from view. Erica went and took his glass from him, she set it down on top of the cart. Julius jumped out of bed holding the side of his head and wincing slightly.

Erica led him out of the room and down the hallway. She opened a door that had a toilet and sink inside, the room was gaudily decorated. Julius walked in, Erica stood holding the door open. "Do you need my assistance…"

Julius snapped around to eye her. "Absolutely not," he cried while he shoved Erica out of the doorway and closed it.

Erica held her hand on her cheek and sighed. Too bad, she thought.

Julius had to remain in bed for another week. His physician, his maid Erica and Angelica would come to see him or to check up on him. One day while Delark was checking him over Angelica asked him about the girl he mentioned along with what he said about saints, Delark told her that she should wait until Julius had fully recovered before questioning him.

Julius was grateful for Delark's rescue, but he also noticed the strange gleam in the man's eyes. I think he knows something, Julius thought worried.

After another two days Delark lead Julius to a strange room. The room was big and the only thing in it was a rather strange chair that looked to Julius like something out of an old horror movie.

Dead man walking, Julius thought while Angelica held his left arm and Erica walked beside him on his right. Being flanked by a gorgeous woman and a super gorgeous girl who are both grinning cheerily… while my doctor leads me to a chair that looks like it came out of an asylum or, an old prison, or the Adam's Family House… Why are they so cheery? Julius looked at Delark who was smiling even wider than the two women.

Julius was sweating when Delark strapped him in to the strange chair. The really wide smile he gave him made him pale. Erica turned and left when another woman came into the room.

"Is my son alright," A fluttery voice asked from behind Julius. Another gorgeous woman came into view. She had a slender yet curvy figure. She was wearing a white dress that hugged her body, that was made even more provocative with the blue ribbons and lace that was tied around her waist and across her chest. The woman's long platinum hair swayed behind her with every stride. Her bright blue eyes were full of worry and there was a frown on her lips.

Oh god! Is that my mother, Julius thought. Mylene Rapha Holfort she's just as gorgeous as Angelica when she's older… what the fuck is wrong with the high specs on these new humans!

"Don't worry your majesty," Delark informed her while adjusting the head gear on Julius's head. "If there is anything wrong with Prince Julius then this will let us know." The smile that he gave the Queen made Julius pale.

Not good, not good, not good, Julius noticed that Delark was smirking at him. Seriously the fuck is going on… what are you about to do to…

Delark flipped a switch and made Julius's head jerk and body stiffen.

"Delark senchu," Mylene narrowed her eyes at the man who swiftly turned his head. "Are you trying to fry my son's brain?"

"Honestly," Delark muttered. "He didn't have much of a brain to begin with…"

Julius despite the sudden jolt of electrical current that ran through his body he still couldn't help but nod his head in agreement with Delark's assessment of the previous Julius that he replaced.

"Now," Delark ignored the Queen's disapproving gaze and eyed Julius. "What is your name?"

"Huh," Julius asked in confusion now that the electric current was only giving him a slight buzz. "Shouldn't you already know that? Or wait…" Julius tried to shake his head but the headgear prevented him from doing so, so he shrugged instead. "Is your next line going to be 'What is your quest?' because that would be awesome!" He furrowed his brow and frowned. "But please don't ask me what the average velocity of a sparrow carrying an eight ounce coconut is… because then I'd be…well, swallowed…"

Delark looked confused and frowned when the lights on Julius's headgear all blinked red.

"No," Delark shook his head. "I mean who are you? What is your name?"

"Oh…" Julius said before going really wide eyed. "Ohhhhh… you mean ummm I think it was Brandon… or Ben…" He closed his eyes and thought a moment while the lights continued to flash red. "Benson," Julius exclaimed. "My name is…errr… was Benson!" The lights on his headgear flashed green.

A very wide smile adorned Delark's face while Mylana went wide eyed and frowned. Angelica's face was also in shock and she even covered her mouth with her hands to hide her cute eep.

"Now," Delark pushed his glasses up hiding his eyes with reflections. Julius swallowed nervously. He looks like a mad scientist, Julius thought.

"Where were you from originally?" Delark beamed in a very sinister way.

"Umm," Julius swallowed again. "Vermont…" He noticed a frown on the man's face after he said that so he closed his eyes. "Sorry, I'm from the United States Of America, I was born on the boarder of the State of Vermont and lived there for several years, my folks then moved to the neighboring State of New Hampshire, you know the Live Free or Die State…"

All three people there gasped at what he said.

"So you're not Julius," Mylene frowned and was about in tears. "If you're Benson then what happened to Julius?"

"That my Queen," Delark turned to face Mylene. "Is easy to explain."

"Really," both Mylene and Angelica shouted at Delark.

"Yes," Delark nodded. "You see," he gestured to Julius. "Your son, Julius here has regained his memories of his past life after his experience with his life and death struggle when he got sick." He adjusted his glasses again while Mylene and Angelica both went wide eyed. "Even though cases such as your sons are rare, my master's life's work was to prove that these who we call, reincarnators harbor both great benefits and…" He adjusted his glasses again. "Or great dangers… when I was doing research with my master we discovered that not all reincarnators are benevolent that is why I've hooked up your son to my machine." Delark turned to Julius. "We need to know if the person that has essentially taken over your son is good and going to be helpful to our country…" he suddenly frowned sending a chill down Julius's spine. "Or if he's an evil person who will lead our country in a downward spiral of disaster?"

"What," Julius cried. "You think I'm someone like Hitler, or Mao… are you fucking nuts… I'm an American I love God, Guns and Apple Pie… and Pizza… just so long it doesn't have anchovies… or maggots…" He muttered the last part. The lights on his headgear all blinked green.

Mylene and Angelica glanced at each other, but then they both started laughing.

Delark continued his Q and A session with Julius while Mylene and Angelica stood by and listened. Julius tried to explain the country where he was from to them and they seemed to be infatuated with it at times, but frowned at others. Delark and Mylene smiled at the change of character that the Prince had undergone while fighting the infection that befell him.

Delark was about to release Julius from the chair, but Angelica ran over and pushed him out of the way. Delark almost fell over, he stumbled, but did manage to right himself. He was about to ask the young woman from the Redgrave family what was wrong, but Angelica answered by asking Julius a few more questions.

"Julius…" Angelica got into his face, but then backed away a bit. "I can still call you Julius right? Or do you prefer Ben?"

"You can call me Julius," Julius smiled at her then leaned his head to look at Mylene. "Mylene is my mom in this world after all!" He waved to her, though with his wrist clamped down it made it hard for him. He did make her blush and she even gave him a slight wave in return. "Right mom, or would you prefer mommy?"

"My, my," Mylene closed her eyes and had the cutest pout on her face. "Please call me mom… mommy is just…" She quickly covered up her face with her hands and steam issued from the top of her head.

"Too much," Julius finished for her while he gave her a wide toothy grin.

Mylene still covering her face nodded.

"I guess God has blessed me with an awesome mom in this world too," Julius cheered making Mylene's hidden face turn completely red, even her ears were turning the same color.

"Julius," Angelica yelled, making Julius and Delark wince. "You mentioned something about a saint the last time you were awake!"

"I did," Julius turned his head to avoid her, but the headgear blinked red letting them all know that he was either lying or, hiding something.

"Yes," Angelica pressed further into him. "You did… so spill!" She demanded.

"Fine," Julius raised his arms as high as the straps would allow. "In my previous life this place, this world was out of a video game." The lights on his headgear flashed green. "In said game, which for the life of me I still can't remember the title…" The three people were all giving him expectant and yet disappointed looks. "Doesn't matter," Julius quickly got back on point. "What does matter is that the Saintess Olivia is destined to lead this country's army against their foes of the Principality of Fanoss and if she doesn't then…" He frowned when he remembered the game over screen along with the bad end one too, he'd seen both more times then he'd like to admit.

"Olivia," Mylana even though she was still a bit red had removed her hands from her face and was now pondering. "Is she one of the nobility?"

Julius shook his head. "No she's a commoner," Julius told his mother with a sigh. I really wish there wasn't such a thing as nobles and commoners I miss the Republic… He thought. Again Julius made the three people gasp.

"If she's a commoner and a Saintess then we need to find her," Mylene firmly stated. "Julius," she glared at him. "If there is anything else that you can remember about what happens to our country then please inform me immediately," Mylene's calm demeanor returned. "Now if you'll excuse me, Julius," he nodded to her while Delark did help undo his restraints. "Angelica," Angelica looked up at Mylene. "Please look after my son, who I assume is no longer an idiot…" Angelica emphatically nodded her head. "And Delark," Delark stopped mid-unbuckling of Julius's left leg restraint. "Please continue your master's work and keep looking for more reincarnators… I will even place a squad of knights under your direct command in order to assist you!"

Delark gave her a grand bow. "It would be my honor!"

Mylene quickly vacated the area, "What has he done now…" They heard her mutter while she stormed off.

"Great," Julius rolled his eyes. "Looks like dad has managed to piss her off again, at least my previous father was somewhat of a good man, he at least never cheated on my mother…but…" He sighed.

"And," Angelica got back into Julius's face while he rubbed his wrists. "You won't go cheating on me would you Julius Sama?"

"Not behind your back I wouldn't," Julius smirked at her.

Angelica balked while Delark chuckled. "I believe that your future husband will grow up to be a good man my lady."

I really can't complain, Angelica thought while Julius gave her a big toothy grin. He is the crown prince after all and politics can be quite brutal at times. A warm smile formed on her face. And this Julius was a freeman during his previous life and he's almost eight, so he hasn't been through all of the training and etiquette classes that a noble starts when they turn nine… still, I'll have to keep a close eye on any girl who would take advantage of Julius's new personality… Angelica sighed. "Olivia, ka…" she muttered aloud "The saintess who will save our country…" She looked up at the ceiling while Julius continued to jabber on about his old life while Delark packed up his equipment and explained to Julius how it all worked.

Angelica noticed the twinkle in Julius's eyes while Delark told him all of the ins and outs of his machine. He's not stuck up, he actually seems to like to learn and he even called me gorgeous and… her face turned red when she remembered the hug he gave her.
