A new perspective that leads up to a very crucial moment...

Act VIII: Nine Years Later, Chapter V-One: The Amnesiac

You reek of failure.

In the dead of night, the shadows approached the beach, stepping on the weird soft yellow ground called sand, which was nothing like they have ever felt before back home. These shadows were not lost, but rather in search of something that was meant to be lost. A relic in their time, a nameless dead thing that had meaning to someone or multiple people long before them.

He shot you in the eye.

The story was unwritten in the present, but the future held everything once time inevitably cracked open the long-awaited mysteries. Here was one such mystery that one soul had been interested in solving.

You were dead.

The body of Allie V. Taggart was still fresh enough for her to be revived, and not because of a godly miracle. No, the visitors of a darker future had brought with them the holy grail of advanced technology that proved efficiently effective.

You don't have it all.

The shadows were only a pair; the taller one, leading the shorter one through the darkness, wore the metal helmet of a mysterious figure. Laika shone the light across the beach as they walked, and constantly scanned the light to the sea trying to pick up on the corpse of the girl. "He bad, girl. He bad man, he kill girlies."

The second figure, nothing more than a young girl not even in her teenage years, shuddered in fear, shaken up by the cruel, inhuman concept of a grown man murdering a girl in cold blood. While that was the case, this second figure was not exactly new to such unnatural dangers. But as of late, the many dangers that posed threats had changed through her perspective. You see, back home, this innocent thing had known who was good and who sought nothing but endless evil by just looking at them. She lived in a world of gunfire, a world where bodies were hung and crucified. There were the fires and the broken people in dirty garments, running around on no end. The thieves and scavengers were untrustworthy for the most part. The Prime Federation had better security transport than that of the Domicile, so naturally scavengers attacked Domicile. Hell, sometimes Domicile members would desert their own and take off with the resources. All of that was nothing more than chaos Randall Flagg would be getting off on if this were a Stephen King piece of fiction.

But stepping into this part of the world- no, time- the girl saw things more calmer. The places she had seen as of yet, clean and uncluttered. No rusty cars or charred corpses or moss growing within concrete. Such a beautiful world, but a world where she lost her two big sisters to. Sent to the past, they were, and had never come home. It was surreal to think that despite all the elegance, the difference in environmental purity, it had been the same planet with the same rules. Death to one, death to all. Time, time, time.

Laika Letenko had been seen as the only real friend Lynn Loud III had at this point. "I no kill kids, I no kill you."

"Right," Lynn Loud III agreed to with a curtly tone. "I don't wanna think about that right now."

"Is good, comrade!" was Laika trying to apologize, downplay it. "No worry, I revive Taggart and we go find vampire woman and knife killer woman!"

"I get the vampire, but why this... What was her name, Lois Harrison?" Lynn Loud III had still been left in the dark, and was smart to ask questions even if it meant annoying Laika. "A knife versus phenos and guns, that's..."

"Timeline history," Laika begun to lecture, "knife girl steals pheno formula and becomes pheno and goes on rampage. Pheno knife girl, I need for this, but she will go back once I complete mission."

"She...?" Lynn Loud III looked to the sea and gave a nod. "Okay... Why does she need a knife?"

"She original and true to herself, I like a lot," Laika grinned from under the Mechabeast helmet. "Inspiration for us all, yes?"

"I... I guess so," Lynn Loud III accepted. "Alright-"

The helmet blipped a signal, an alarm that beeped rhythmically thrice. "Body found!"

"Ew..." Lynn Loud III went, making a sour face.

And the body of the late Allie had been fished out of its watery grave, taken back to be laid flatly on its back under the dark blanket of the night. Lynn Loud III was excused from having to stomach seeing the graphic nature of the body, incomplete thanks to a bullet wound replacing one of its eyes, at no doubt was that the cause of the girl's severe demise. And she had seen it, a mere glimpse, and gave way to wonder whether it could be her own fate down the line. Her, working with the sort of person she had been told to view as nothing more than an enemy nothing apart from hellbent on bringing forth the destruction of the Louds and the Domicile. This cold-blooded Russian terror displayed an untold form, a sort of side that had not ever been shared. Maybe it was a mask to keep the young girl believing in the boogeyman for the sake of her safety.

Laika removed the Mechabeast helmet, hovering it and shining the light over Allie's head, assessing the wound. She then lifted the head, feeling the back of it to find an exit wound. Nothing. "Bullet in head, must be extracted back at base."

"We're going back?" Lynn Loud III felt pleased to know she didn't have to put up with the cold anymore. Another minute of being exposed and she would get hypothermia.

"Hoping she not receive permanent brain damage," Laika prayed. She then carried the body in both arms, moving away from the waters. "We done here, child."

First there was a shadow in the distance, an essence of no shape. Then, it formed into a human silhouette- its outline being that of a man, a faceless man of great physical physique, with an object in one of his- or its if it wasn't truly a man- hands. The thing was pointed right at her, and it seemed that it was about to happen. But then, what were the true chances he would have done what he did? How unprofessional and immoral an action, to take the life away from her? Allie challenged it and had the audacity to blink, for she had not completely come to accept death in that instance. But it came. The Ungodly Stormbringer had indeed pulled the trigger and threw her over, made her nothing else beyond garbage.

That's all she felt she was- all she felt she had been reduced to. Garbage. Nothing but that in their eyes.

"Uh...!" Allie opened her eyes, breaking away from the haunting dreamscape. At first she felt it had been a terrible nightmare while she slept. All was not clear, but her head gave her grief by way of aching, making her rub where it hurt. "Ugh! What-?"

She sat up from the bed and studied the medical bay room, deducing that she was in a Prime Federation facility. Someone had to have found her and taken her here, where she was out of Lincoln Loud's hands after that failed attempt on his life with Lemy and Nyla. Yes, she had to have been in one of the bases, which meant an inevitable chat of disgrace for what'd be labeled as incompetence on her part. Whether she was at fault or not did not matter, she was put in charge of the operation and was expected to prove herself to be better than she was, to effectively carry out her mission in the coldest manner and never to give in to second thoughts, just like that one time she had to tie up a loose end in the form of a curious girl getting too uncomfortably close to finding out a secret truth. The one Allie had to gain trust of only to kill. If anything, Allie wished she could skip over the session of yelling from uncle.

Wait, what's wrong with my-? Allie could only see with one eye, but why wasn't the the other one working? She worked her hand and touched something over the malfunctioning eye. What's this? Wha-

She identified the flat object as a patch and removed it, and, to her own horror, discovered an uneven layer of flesh where her other eye was meant to be. She twitched, exhaling sharply. The burning in her kicked off just as a person entered into the bay. Allie faced them with a hurtful look, hand now covering her lost eye. "What the fuck happened to my eye?! And where's my uncle?!"

Laika Letenko raised her hands gently. "Easy, be easy..."

Russian? When did-? Allie circled around Laika, alarmed and wary of her. "Who are you? You're not-"

"I am friend, do trust me..." Laika sympathetically shared, then held out her hand. "You are home in the Prime Federation, Allison."

"Prime..." Allie took a quick glance around once more. "Y-yeah, but I have never met you. Where's Ward? Lindemann? You know, the guys-"

"No time for question, I need you now." Laika assessed the resurrected girl from top to bottom. "Your eye be lost, do you remember how?"

"I..." Allie forgot she had kept her eye socket hidden from view, shamefully lowering it. "I remember that albino Loud guy kidnapping me, I don't know what he did to me, but he-" Allie gripped her hands to fists, nails digging into her palms. "He did this to me, I know he did. He hurt me."

"It appears to be so, but we found you, you lucky." Laika noticed the patch on the ground. "You need cover eye up, maybe you need eye patch instead, yes?"

"Why can't I remember...?" Allie groaned as if she were a hungover trying to recover from a bad night of drinking. "Where... Where did you find me?"

"Beach," the Russian woman answered.

"A... Beach?" Allie snorted, grinned freakishly. "Heh... Wow."

"Resources at disposal," Laika guided, "we have food, training, anything you need. But we are spread thick- uhhh, thin this moment. This place is falling apart now."

"Falling apart?" Allie asked. "What do you mean? Last I checked, we were winning. We had our way, and my uncle needed that albino out of the picture."

"Things have changed since then," Laika informed, not intending to notify Allie just where she was in time. Not yet, not when there was one final mission she had to see through, for the survival of the Prime Federation and its honor that needed to be defended at all costs. It and herself and all their fallen. "I need you, I need you to fight against the demon Louds and their pheno friends. Kill all, you do."

"Louds..." A familiar enemy to her. Allie nodded, thinking. "I know well about them, if I can get to a gun with the proper firepower or something-"

Laika's turn to grin came, and she took it with no moment's hesitation. "Yes, we have everything you may need in your quest. You and me, we take the fight to them." She pressed on her Lobelink. "New Primers, on me. Meet me at med bay."

"Primers?" Allie drew confusion. "Sorry, what...?"

"We welcome you to our little unit," Laika wholeheartedly smiled.

And Allie was concerned up until the point when three girls had shown up. One, a child in a red and white dress, hair styled into a bun, and not to mention the glasses on her. The second one, a pale-skinned teenager around her age in a black dress with a red line running horizontally around the waste, and boy, did she have a great rack that Allie couldn't help but notice. And then there was the third one with a rather different aura around her; like Allie, this one was of the same height, was a blonde girl of short hair, almost the same style infamously synonymous with your average Karen, and just might as well have been a Karen in training. But Allie found that girl attractive the very second she laid eyes on her, could not help but let her heart bloom away. Starstruck, Allie forced her eyes away from the blonde to hide her wound, covering her lost eye again. "Unit? Are these-?"

"Your new teammates are these three, but I have one more girl I wish to recruit. Before we leave, we cover eye, yes?"

"Oh!" Allie was in heavy agreement. "Yes, please!"

"Eye patch be here somewhere..." Laika looked around the room, opening many drawers and cabinets. "I know we have supply. Let me check closet."

"So, what can you do?" Allie was approached by the blonde girl, asked with such an abrasive tone that might as well have been hostile when it came right down to it. "Do you have what it takes?"

"Excuse me but I did missions for the Prime Federation, what have you done?"

Blondie held up a fist with an aggressive look painted across her face. "I can show you what I can do, how about it?"

"Stop the fight, save for enemy," Laika mediated. "We all have same enemy-"

"I don't know any of the people you've mentioned," Gloom chimed in.

"Almost all," Laika corrected. "Here is patch!"

"Still haven't answered my question," Allie smirked. "What can any of you three do?"

"I eat people," Gloom casually shared, showing her razor teeth, closing them after a few quick seconds. "And also I can fly."

"Uh... Okay, what of you, little girl?" Allie addressed to Lynn Loud III. "You look to be the most unfit for this. Why are you-?"

And like Gloom, Lynn Loud III opened her mouth to reveal fangs in both jaws. Gloom crossed her arms once taking a glance again and rolled her eyes. "They're getting younger now..."

"Don't tell me you're an ankle-biter too?" Allie could almost feel herself losing her composure, terribly intimidated by the phenos and hit right on her ego organ, feeling so insignificant to be on this team. She hoped the blonde wasn't one of them either, or she'd walk out.

"Not at all, but you're welcome to fight me if you wanna know how good I could be." Allie could see this girl was eager to put her in her place, but such an arrogant brat who thought so highly of herself was just as awful as she had been, to prove that she was not above receiving a taste of her own medicine, was nothing short of poetic.

"I wouldn't," Lynn Loud III suggested. "She's rather abrasive."

"And not to mention-" Gloom rubbed the back of her head. "Nothing but a cheater."

"Matter of fact-" Laika slapped the eye patch on Allie's hand and took her place among her new unit. "-comrade here be with me since my original crew, we are last of it. We not let Primers die, we not let dream die. Empire be forever."

Allie placed the eye patch on, entering a new change in her life. However long she had at this point onward. "Sounds like she's very loyal to the cause."

"We're on the verge of losing a bigger war here, Laika," the blonde concentrated, "we need to get that last one. And you, Allie was it? You'll need to arm yourself after we pick up the slasher girl, because we're all going into battle."

"Nothing new to me-"

"Wrong," the blonde corrected her with a strict tone of voice, commanding and booming at most, "this is nothing like you've ever been assigned on. Me and Big Red there read your rapsheet. You do things quietly, usually hit-and-run tactics when you weren't covering tracks and tying up loose ends. I admire that, all this work you've done, but this operation is unlike any past mission."

"Just tell me, is it like she said? Do I get a chance to fight them?" Allie cracked her knuckles, giving thought to nothing else but a chance to complete her latest mission in killing Lincoln Loud. "Is that albino one gonna be there?"

"Yes, he'll be there," the blonde nodded. "He'll be there for you to take down, all by yourself."

"Oh, I like the sound of that..." Allie maliciously grinned. "As the saying goes, an eye for an eye!"

"Good, let's go pick up this slasher girl."

Minutes Later

"Ow- Wait, is that it? Was that it?" Lois Harrison had been administered a fresh shot of the same pheno formula that Lincoln, Darcy and Lori had used.

Laika removed the needle from Lois' skin, unable to hide her joy in the sense of feeling prideful on the sole fact that she had patched up what she felt was the heart of the fallen Prime Federation; herself and this reiteration of her special squad. Even so, even with old-time relics she had replaced the original Primers with, the calculating possibility of losing was nowhere near at zero percent. Allie was the only new girl trained properly, but even then, she was not trained by the new regiment of the Federation. Laika paused momentarily, succumbing to the knotting her stomach made. One wrong move and all could be lost forever. "You be better now."

"Wait, how come she's getting the pheno treatment and not me?" Allie huffed, glaring furiously at the Russian.

"She was the one who needed it more," the blonde girl answered for Laika. "The least combative of us."

"But that one-" Allie gestured a finger towards Lynn Loud III.

"She's not a fighter, but a triumph card," Laika defended. "Means of distraction."

"Distraction?"

"Enough of the questions, let's go get you armed up now," the blonde guided, leading Allie out of the med bay. "The four are moving without us, we'll meet them at the time coordinates they provide-"

"What, time coordinates?" Allie sped up her pace to catch up to the jogging blonde as they moved swiftly through the room. "What does that mean?"

"What do you think it means?"

Allie scratched her head, having only a single guess that only remained a guess. Her time with the present Prime Federation had shown her an alarming rate in which technology was advancing rapidly with many of the brightest minds to walk among the earth. If anyone on the planet had a firm chance to create a time machine and stabilize time traveling, it would have to be them, at any day. Did it come already? "There's no way, n-no one told me we've done it-"

"But we have, and it is our advantageous move here all the same-" The blonde girl reached the armory and stopped to punch in the access code on the panel. The locks undid themselves, clicking and hissing to retract its thick entry point. "Whatever you like, we have most of the high-grade firepower. Grenades as well if you want."

Allie circled around the armory clockwise, collecting a small armor vest that held four magazine pouches. Her eyes then scanned the weapons, centering on a standard MP5. "This one."

"Don't forget a side arm and holster."

"Right," Allie filled her pouches with magazines, and picked up the fifth one to load it into the submachine gun. Next, she moved to find a suitable sidearm and a holster; choosing a holster was far much easier, she wasn't picky over those and tightened it on her leg. By the time she was done, she came facing a shiny Magnum revolver-

You reek of failure! He shot you in the eye! You were dead! You don't have it all...

It was the same type she had in her arms once- She blinked repeatedly, losing her composure in trying to process why the weapon had some significance. "I think I held one of these..."

"Have you?" Blondie stared down the revolver. "Those have a good kick to 'em."

Allie checked the chamber; empty. "I never fired one... But I can't be certain. Ugh, I'm missing parts here, but that's why I'm going to fight with you weirdos."

"May you get this closure you need, Allie," blondie prayed visibly, perhaps an act to help sweeten the deal. "But keep your head in the game. With these weapons, I expect you to shoot at anyone you didn't meet here and now. Load the gun now and ready your weapons."

Allie inserted six rounds into the chamber, closed the gun with a front twist sideways, and allowed it to slumber in the holster. "You never said where we were going."

"You'll see..." Blondie tossed one of the famous miniature gadgets that opened up a time portal. "You first."

Chapter V-Two: The World After The Amnesiac

2039

Allie emerged through the portal, cocking the submachine back and aiming it front, coming into view at the edge of a vastly open grassy field. She didn't know where she was at first, but she knew she wasn't in the wrong place the second she saw her target again; the Ungodly Stormbringer in the living flesh, accompanied by Luna, Lynn and the twins. Allie was familiar with the five Louds, but not the other faces that appeared alongside them; faces such as Bethany Chang's, swinging away a sole katana against Luna. Linka was also there, but not as an ally for the Louds this time. In fact, she had sided with the opposite team. Linka was currently fighting with her cell parent, trying her hardest to land a critical blow. Laika Letenko was also there, shooting at the clones while backed by another in a dark blue suit of some kind. The twins kept the two busy, but Lynn had seemed to be out of the fight.

Allie moved around, trying to get behind the enemy to end this fight. Then, a heavy hand stopped her from joining in. "Hey!"

"Not yet, not until we see it..." The blonde had held her back, picking the right time. "Hang tight."

"The red one isn't fighting... I have a clear shot if I can just get closer!" Allie insisted.

"And give us away? No, you're not gonna do anything-"

"YOU NOT KILL US ALL!" Laika erupted, shooting blindly and carelessly now. Her guard- Alex- took a pair of punches from the zoomers, sending her flying backwards, doing as far as several flips. "AGH-" And Laika was disarmed by the twins, her motherland weapon falling apart into pieces, whimpering for a single second before both girls pummeled her silly.

"What is happening?" Allie lowered her weapon off of Lynn. "We should be-"

"There!" Blondie pointed up to the sky, showing Allie two different objects soaring about, coming closer. "Our target is there."

"What is that?"

"Not what, but who."

The two objects turned out to be newcomers to the party; one, a girl of dark clothing and an odd set of black hair with a white streak running down the middle, and the second one, a blonde girl riding what Allie guessed was a hoverboard. "Wait, that's you! How can-?!" The bizarre mystery had her breathless; Allie looked between both blonde girls, trying to make sense of a scientific equation.

"That's past me," the blonde explained. "That's me and what's left of my unit, we came here for a very special weapon. The weapon-"

Present Lina, speeding through the medium winds, was gaining on Grimm Girl, another one of the Domicile phenos. "YOU THINK YOU'LL SUCCEED IN GAINING GODHOOD?!"

With a voice that sounded nowhere near identical to Lupa's, despite the matching attire, Grimm Girl, turning on her back, went and yelled, "Is a shrimp like you gonna stop me? Come on-" Grimm Girl went for a dive from the air, falling into the battlefield just below. She joined Lincoln and pushed Linka back in a perfect offensive strike. "Don't go easy on her!"

"She's lost and confused-" Lincoln tried to reason.

"In case you forgot, she helped play a big factor in-" Grimm Girl had gotten herself knocked out by Lina running the hoverboard to the back of her head. Lincoln dodged out of Lina's way, foolishly swinging his fist as she swooshed by, hitting only air.

"Damn it-" Lincoln rolled Grimm Girl over and found what she had been trying to give them; a tube of silver liquid that contained very special properties. "I have it, Lynn!"

"Great-" Lynn started, now running towards her brother. "I need-"

But it seemed Lincoln had other ideas, starting away by opening it. "I will become the force now."

"Wait! WAIT, LINCOLN!" Lynn mercifully pleaded.

"Watch me ascend-" And Lincoln could have gotten his way if not for the meddling twins who took the formula from him. "NOOO!"

Luna ended her fight with Bethany by running her claws into the flesh, wriggling about until Bethany dropped her katana and fell back, fatally wounded and unable to stand. She simply plopped on her back and accepted death for what it was, after too much time fighting with too many persons. Luna flicked her fingers to shake Bethany's blood off of her. "G-gomenasai..." Bethany uttered with a choke. "W-watashi wa nanimonai-"

"They got the better of us," Lina told Allie, "cut the last of the Primers down to two. This is where we find ourselves cornered so we had to retreat and assemble new players to finish what was started since the Decimation."

Alex leaned upright, seeing Bethany and Laika down and activated the suit's invisibility camouflage. She ran towards the three zoomers as they regrouped, but made the thoughtless mistake of running past Luna, who had heard her emitting footsteps going right by, shifted back to her sisters and shouted, "THAT INVISIBLE BITCH IS HEADING YOUR WAY!"

"Think you can pull me back, father?" Linka kept her fists up, keeping distant from him. "Think I can be given amnesty and let this be forgotten? I already know by now-"

"You're being played for their own intentions, girl," Lincoln reached out, "Think you're one of them now?"

"I know I am!" Linka boasted, smacking her fist upon her chest. "It's far too late to take me back when all you've done was try and throw me in a hole! Not once have you ever seen how I wished you would see me! And for that-"

"LINKA, GET TO BETHANY! SHE'S DOWN!" Lina howled through the air. "ALEX, PRIORITIZE THE SAUHLERSTRAAM ESSENCE!"

"-YOU'LL ALL FALL TODAY!" Linka used a flashbang and tossed it face-on towards Lincoln, blinding him as she took her cue to help the dying Bethany.

"Drink it, drink it fast!" Lana rushed Lynn.

"Move back, there's no telling what's gonna happen-"

"You need to take it far from here!" Lola advised. "Hurry, all of them-"

Alex slapped her hands on Lola's head, running her shin onto the latter's back, taking the diva zoomer down. Next, Alex picked Lynn up by the front of her suit, yelling, "LINA!"

"THROW HER!" Lina guided, decreasing her altitude.

"ARGH!" Alex valiantly grunted, tossing Lynn into the air. Lina snatched the tube from Lynn, stopping the hoverboard in midair. "YES, LINA!"

Luna tackled Alex from behind, removing her face mask and running a claw against her throat, slicing it open. While it wasn't enough to kill her, Luna punched at the back of her skull to knock her out.

"Long live the Prime Federation..." Lina held the tube to her face, blindsided by Grimm Girl who came in flying and tackled her right off the hoverboard. "YOU AGAIN!"

"Let's go for a little dive, bitch!" Grimm Girl chuckled, taking Lina down with her right onto the field. Together, they formed a crater that rumbled the ground. As for the tube, it remained intact, resting among the dirt. Neither girl moved, but the hoverboard descended to the ground slowly.

"Did we do it?" Luna questioned, analyzing the battlefield. "Are all the Primers down?"

Linka hadn't reached Bethany by the time she added up the uneven math, feeling herself cornered by all Louds. Allie, yet a spectator, didn't see Linka, but herself where she'd been frozen stiff, approached by Lincoln. "Stay back..."

"Child, this is over."

"Not until I say-" The twins raced up to Linka and punched her in the face, pushing her down to finish it. "Ghhhh..."

"Good work, girls," Lincoln sweet-talked, trying to innocently downplay the seriousness of his actions. "Now if only-"

"Lana, Lola, keep him away from the tube... Luna, defensive position on my six!"

"No..." He shook his head in disagreement. "That should be mine, not yours, Lynn."

Lynn sped to the crater, running down the dirt slope to find the ultimate power. She flipped Lina and Grimm Girl about, finding the tube underneath them. "Yes! Thank God!"

Lina, having only little fight left in her, opted the retreating protocol, activating the escape portal out of there. "C-Commander, fall back, we have failed again."

At the word 'failure', Laika Letenko recharged with her reserve energy, pushing past her limits to set off her own portal to flee. "Comrade Linka, hold your own! We come back! Not let you die!"

"Ugh..." Linka stayed down, groveling at the twins' feet. "If only..." She pressed a palm to her forehead, missing the presence of the SCX chip. Damn you, Lincoln...

"Stop fighting us, you're done," Lola spat down, kicking Linka in the stomach. "How could you do that? How could you betray us and help them?"

"Lola-" Lana tried to pull her away but Lola pushed Lana back.

"Oh, don't bother, I don't have any regrets here-" Linka grabbed some dirt, scooping it up and throwing it in Lola's face. "Take this!" She blinded the zoomer and gave her a one-two punch, ending with a side sweep to toss Lola off her feet. Next, Linka pinned her down and delivered more punches. Lana trembled in place, watching Lola bleed from her nose and mouth in a matter of seconds. "Yes, stay the fuck there, you're next!"

"Stop it..." Lana lowly pleaded, going unheard.

Lynn climbed back up to the top of the crater, finding Lynn Loud III waiting for her. "How-?"

"Hi, mom..."

Lynn grew petrified, gasping in utter shock. "Wuh-wuh-wuh-"

"Where did she come from?" Luna stared.

Lynn Loud III drew the notorious revolver, aiming it right to her mother's forehead. "Hand it over, please."

"Not you..." Lynn weakly surrendered the tube over to her daughter of the future, looking into her eyes with unbearable pain in the form of red sparkling, knowing disappointment from the internal zone. "My child-"

Lola came running with all her effort, managing to lose control- and the time-traveling Lina who had withheld Allie from shooting, had gotten back into her hoverboard and pick Lynn Loud III up- causing Lola to bump into Lynn, making the tumble into the crater with Grimm Girl.

Gloom flew Lois into the fight once they came through the portals, and dropped Lois off to take upon Luna. Already did Allie begin shooting away at her visible targets Luna and Lincoln, shots hitting until they faced their own foe. Lois drew her kitchen knife, giggling away as she randomly waved it around to cut Luna up. Gloom set her feet upon the grass, landing right in Lincoln's path. The pair, not being strangers, stared each other down with awe, but were also exhausted to have seen each other again, for the history they've had under the belt. They were no good for each other as allies, and now, life had brung them together as enemies.

"THE ZOOMER IS HEADED FOR YOU!" Linka called out, but Allie didn't make out whom she was addressing until Lana snagged the submachine gun away.

Lincoln checked his wounds, already knowing he was damned to die from these wounds, and took to seeing the shooter who had a fair level in marksmanship. I could have sworn I killed her... I'm gonna bleed out in minutes unless I get to the tube. That means-

"I've spent the next decades trying to better myself," Gloom steamed out, "not to have an appetite for human blood... But I can't deny myself the hunger... I'm gonna eat you, Jerry."

"KILL HIM, SCARY-ASS GIRL!" Allie drew her revolver and fired upon Lana, but missed all her shots. "NONE OF YOU- NONE OF YOU HOLD STILL-!" Lana pushed Allie down and dragged her away by her feet, leaving her right upon a tree. In a turn of events, Laika, crouching and aiming her own weapon, fired at Lana, sacrificing Allie for the sole reason in gunning down the zoomer- which backfired horribly, ruining Allie instead. The tree behind her was messily painted on with her blood and bits of her meaty flesh. The body lumped over just like that, with no redo card available for her. And the eyepatch had never been struck away by any of the bullets, and neither had her only good eye. For a change.

And the battle would go on without her.
