Julius leaned back in his chair, the pile of fished and unfinished books made him sigh. So much to learn… I know this world is from that shitty otome game, but come on… he slumped forward making a loud thud startling several people around him.

"Studying again," Jilk muttered while walking up behind Julius. "Is there a reason that you've become so motivated?" He shook his head. "You do realize that we still have sword training and etiquette classes this afternoon… Don't you Prince Julius?"

Jilk, Julius thought with a frown. One of this former shitty prince's entourage… He silently opened his status window to check on Jilk's progress. Nope still shitty, he thought after closing the window. Already twelve years old and he's still only level three… Julius buried his face in his arms. Even my fiancée, Angelica is level five already and I'm pushing six… If I complete the sword training and spell weaving this afternoon it'll definitely push me over the edge. That's another big difference between the American Version and the original Japanese Version of the game, they made it a lot easier to check your character's progress. Julius closed his eyes and groaned. When I find The Macross I'll need a lot more personnel to help fly and maintain it. He raised his head to take another look at Jilk through his status window. Why is it that all of the prince's lackeys absolutely suck until they get to level eighty before they get good. Jilk looked at him with a rather puzzled and quizzical expression on his face while Julius scowled at him.

I know that Jilk gets a major buff to all stats when he gets to level eighty one, Brad… Julius really frowned. The man with the shittiest personality gets his attack and range maxed out when he gets to level eighty three. Chris gets an overdrive bonus on attack, magic and wisdom after he gets to level eighty even. And Greg… Julius furrowed his brow and sighed. "Greg is a musclehead thru and thru, his attack and defense become so high after hitting level eighty-five he becomes practically invincible."

Jilk tilted his head and seemed so confused Julius could even see the big red question-marks popping out of his head. He chose to ignore them and continued his quiet tirade. "Why is it that only the shitty prince gets all max stats at level seventy-nine? And…" he glanced at Jilk again and frowned. "I really don't want to go powerleveling the trio of idiots either. They are completely useless up until the tail end of the game… unless you powerlevel them with all of the hidden dungeons and secret items before the principality attacks…"

"Umm…" Jilk managed to shake off his confusion to look at Julius with an eager gleam in his eyes. "Julius, do you really know where there are hidden dungeons?"

Julius finally sat up and got out of his chair. "Yes, I do…" he glared at Jilk who now had even more sparkles in his eyes. "But I'm not going to be showing a useless NPC like you where they are."

Jilk frowned and tears quickly formed and then fell from his eyes while Julius walked toward the exit of the library. He turned around making Jilk think that he might have changed his mind, but he walked right passed him and over to his maid, Erica who placed a holder on the page where Julius had finished reading turned her head to see what her charge wanted.

"Erica," Julius smiled at her.

"Yes, Julius sama," Erica smiled back at him.

"Would you please have the librarians put all of the books away that I've finished," Julius pointed at the stack of books that was on the left side of the table. "And tell them to put away everything from my unfinished pile too, except for Advanced Magic's, Glyphs and Spells, I really want Angie to look through that one. I only glossed over it, but it's not my cup of tea…" Julius was cut off when Erica finished his thought for him.

"But you think that Angelica sama would benefit from reading it," Erica tilted her head to the side. "Right Julius sama?"

Julius nodded a few time. "Erica, you've read my mind!"

"I'll have a copy ordered and delivered to her when I get back to the palace," Erica placed her hand on the pile of unfinished books. "Knowing her she'll scribble her own notes and insights in the margins… just like a certain somebody…" She said while slightly narrowing her eyes at him.

"Good idea," Julius gave her a thumbs up. "I wouldn't want Angie defacing the library's copy…" Julius slumped forward and sighed. "I really wish I hadn't shown her my style of learning… I don't know how many books that she's defaced now… At least I don't write in other people's books, only my own…"

Erica giggled after a glum looking Julius followed by a disheartened Jilk who was demanding Julius to let him go into a secret dungeon with him exited the library.

"I haven't the heart to tell him that both the Mage Corp and the Royal Knight Corp have all learned a lot from both his and Angelica's written thoughts and corrections that they made in several academic books," Erica giggled again. "All of the elders who wrote them were completely aghast at the insights that those two made after correcting and adding to their works. And even his mother The Queen thinks that Julius is not only a prodigy after regaining his old memories, but his effect on his fiancée has turned her into one too."

"Has our Genius Prince left for his afternoon classes," An elderly green robed man with wild and disheveled grey-green hair asked while he walked up behind Erica. "He has already finished half of our science and magic section over the last three years." He pushed his spectacles up on his nose making his soft violet eyes even more visible.

Several assistant librarians where standing behind him. They all beamed while they eagerly flipped through all of the books the prince finished. Even though he tries hard not to deface the books in the library with his corrections, there were times when Julius couldn't help but make them if what he read ever made him too aggravated.

"Reshin Sama," One of the assistants found some of Julius's insight scribbled in the margins on page two-hundred, nineteen of the fourth book in the stack. "Look here…" he pointed at the tiny words that could barely be seen let alone read. Delark came into the library and immediately headed toward the gathered attendants and chief librarian.

"What has Julius discovered now," Delark asked while retrieving a magnifying glass from his medical bag. Reshin took the offered magnifying glass from Delark giving him a smile and thankful nod, because he'd forgotten his back in his office.

They all gathered around the chief librarian while he read the inscription that Julius had made.

"Is that true," one attendant asked after he read the prince's tiny handwriting.

"First you must cast a shield magic," Delark read while squinting his eyes.

"Then cast a fire and ice spell inside of the shield simultaneously," one of the attendants standing behind the two, who had really good eyesight read aloud for the two straining elderly men. They were grateful to him, so Delark and Reshin made enough room between them so that the young man with fiery red hair and matching eyes could stand between them. He gave his teacher and idol a smile and a slight bow before continuing to read what Julius had written. "When you lower the shield magic you must be standing a ways away because the two magics of fire and ice will produce a steam explosion, that should kill all monsters, or attackers within the first few feet of the explosion and incapacitate, or deafen those who were outside the kill zone." He even had to squint at the last part it was even smaller than the main body. "I don't know the exact number of feet, or yards that are within the area of effect. I hope to have one of the mages test this out before fielding this technique."

"What did he call this new magic spell," Reshin asked the red haired youth.

"Umm," the red headed assistant really needed to squint even while looking through the magnifying glass. "Combustion Bomb," he straightened and shook his head. "It says…"

"With your permission," a young woman emphatically raised her hand. "I'd like to copy this Combustion Bomb down and give it to the mages to see how effective this new spell the Prince has come up with is!"

"Henrietta,"— Reshin looked at the gleaming blond haired girl with big violet eyes and a large bouncy chest that not even the blue assistant robes could hide the melons she was sporting. It also didn't help that Henrietta had become a firm believer and fervent fangirl of the prince. —"Please do…"

"Yeah," Henrietta jumped while clapping her hands excitedly while several others sighed, or muttered that she was so lucky. Both Reshin and Delark had to turn their heads in order to hide their embarrassed faces due to her jumping and bouncing breasts. She's a tad bit overenthusiastic, they both thought.

Julius wiped away the sweat using the towel that one of the Knights had handed to him. He draped it over his shoulder while several more knights were looking over the training dummy that was bisected, not once, but twice. Brad, Jilk and Greg were all staring at Julius with open mouths. One of the knights picked up the sword that Julius had dropped on the ground. The swords blade was chipped and damaged beyond its limit, the blade fell apart right when the knight held it up to get a better look at it. The tip of the sword and a part of the blade stuck into the dirt, while the knight's face paled because it landed very close to his foot.

"Julius sama," The Knight Captain who was overseeing his training ran up to him. "What was that?"

Julius looked up at him and shrugged. "I believe that you know exactly what it was you just saw…" he tried to make his voice sound more gravelly and sinister.

The Captain only looked more confused and frowned. Julius closed his eyes and coughed into his fist while he heard his fiancée Angelica giggling from behind the pillar where she had tried to hide herself, but Julius knew that she was watching.

"If you must know captain," Julius raised his index finger, before turning and pointing at him. "I was actually attempting to mimic an ancient sword technique from the Hiten-Mistarugi style," He lowered his hand and sighed. "Unfortunately, that is the result…" He nodded to the broken sword that the other knight was still staring at in his hand.

"Are you really trying to resurrect such a devastating style from your previous life," the Knight Captain gave him a disbelieving sigh while he glanced at the broken sword and the training dummy.

"If you must know," Julius frowned. "When I told Angie about it, she really wanted to learn it and she's even managed to master more of it than I did…"

"What," The Knight Captain and several others all stared at the giggling blond who had revealed herself to them when Julius spoke her name.

"Prodigy," Julius rubbed the top of his head while he gave Angelica a smirk. "When referring to her would be an understatement."

"You really need to make a katana," Angelica quipped while walking over to Julius and the Captain. "In order to fully utilize the techniques of that sword style Julius."

"I know," Julius lowered his hand and frowned. "I told several smiths how they are made, but they're having trouble recreating the tamahagane billet…" He groaned. "I've actually suggested that they use a mix of mithril and orichalcum, but I haven't heard back yet if that worked or, not and I haven't had time to go to the workshop in… going on…what… two weeks now?" After letting out another lengthy sigh he looked at Angelica who realized that he had looked at her status. The frown that was on his face suddenly turned into a beaming smirk.

"What," Angelica yelped. "Is so funny Julius sama…"

Julius knew that she was irritated by the way she had addressed him, she usually calls him J or simply Julius, mostly because he didn't like being addressed by his full name, even though he tried to get the knights to call him by only the letter they all had stiffly refused. Only Angelica and his mother call him J, he refuses to let the trio of idiots call him that, especially Brad even though he's only twelve he still rubs Julius the wrong way.

Julius closed the status window slowly walked over to Angelica and even though she backed away slightly he placed his hand on top of her also slightly damp head and smiled at her.

"You've actually surpassed my level Angie…" Angelica's face went from worried to red. "Congats!" He could feel the steam issuing from her head while she slowly nodded.

"Thank you J…sama…" Angelica stammered.

The Knight Captain hid his own smile behind his gauntlet covered hand. Several of the knights who had heard Julius all ran over to gather around him while asking him what their statuses were, or if they've improved at all.

Julius removed his hand off Angelica's head while being inundated with requests from the knights. Bonnie Levinston, the knight Captain's niece and Greg Lufelt were clamoring the loudest. Julius groaned and begrudgingly told them all to line up while he used his status window to tell them their updated statuses.

This is becoming more troublesome than it's worth, Julius thought while his maid Erica was writing down the knight's statuses on his behalf. His personal maid was actually turning into something more along the lines of his personal secretary. Still, Erica's eyes gleamed while she held the clipboard and filled out the statuses of all of the knights who had lined up while Julius read them with his ability.

Julius really liked Erica in her knight armor, her grieves and buckler were always well polished, the armor on her chest was quite eye-catching due to the size of her chest and Erica's sexy thighs and lower waist were exposed in order to give her full range of motion. Erica's helmet was like all of the helmets the knights wore it protected the head and had a brim on it so that her ears would also be protected. Erica was always the last person to have her status updated, she and Angelica both had their status sheets filled out by Julius himself.

"Wooohoooo," Jamison cried while he held up his status sheet. "I've gone up three levels in the last week! I'm level forty Now! Awesome!"

Bonnie sashayed herself over to Jamison, nonchalantly draped her arm over the boastful green haired man's shoulder and stuck her own status sheet in front of his face. Jamison's aqua colored eyes went really wide when he read the younger woman's status sheet. "Read it and weep Jimmy," Bonnie narrowed her golden orbs and gave the now frowning man a conniving grin. "You can boast all you want about turning forty, while I've reached forty four!"

Carlson Livenston's own golden eyes widened before he laughed at his niece's antics. He turned to see both Julius and Angelica talking and laughing together while they ignored all of knight's minor celebrations and cheers, or grumbled woes, while several more were muttering that they'd surpass their peers next week.

Julius has no idea what he's done, Carlson smiled while still chuckling a bit. Ever since he started reading and monitoring the trainee's statuses the knights have all been putting more fervent effort into their training. He's created a sense of both rivalry in some… He eyed Bonnie and Jamison. Or, lit the fire to improve themselves in others… Carlson glanced at Emilia and Venon who were both standing against the far wall of the training compound; their helmets held in the crook of one arm and the sheet of paper that they were both intently staring at in the other. He turned to Julius who had changed a lot in the last three years.

Ever since he's regained those memories of his from his previous life, Carlson shook his head. I still can't believe that Delark's research was correct… still Julius using what he calls a status window to read all of the knight's statuses once a week was ingenious and if what he says is true about the Principality then… Carlson frowned and sighed while he looked at the group of trainees. He and his mother want all of the knights to, at the very least reach level sixty five within the next five years… He glanced at the trainees and smirked. I hate to tell her this, but I'm afraid that all of the knights will be way beyond that at the rate that we're going… He looked at his own status sheet a big sixty seven was in the box on the top right of the page with the rest of his stats filled out on the left side. I'm going to at least be eighty in three years time then I'll get all of those bonuses Julius kept telling me about… He crumpled up the paper and used a minor fire spell to burn it. That was one of the biggest rules when it comes to status sheets. The papers must be destroyed so that others can't see what's on them. Even though some of the trainees show off their sheets in order to boast, or compare notes they did follow the rule of burning it before leaving the compound.
