"You're not gonna tell me what you did with the Sith holocron, are you?" Satele asked Kanan as she, Kanan and Sabine entered the Bridge of a CR90 corvette as it traveled through Hyperspace with both Mandalorians having their helmets under their arms.

"I told you it was safe, Satele," he reassured her.

"But what if there are secrets we can learn from it that'll help us destroy the Sith?" Satele asked him.

"Satele, the secrets in that thing almost destroyed you," he reminded her.

"He's right, Satele," Sabine said, agreeing with him, "Besides, if you fell to the dark side, I don't think I could cope with that."

"I know," she told them, "But if not to get the Sith holocron, why did Master Yoda send us to Malachor?"

"We asked for a chance to defeat the Sith, and we failed," he answered.

"I suspect that you're right, Kanan," Sabine said, agreeing with him.

"Coming up on the rendezvous point, Commander, but the transport's not responding," one of the CR90 corvette's pilots announced as the corvette jumped out of Hyperspace with a heavily damaged Hammerhead corvette in the distance from where the CR90 corvette was.

"It looks like it was attacked," Satele said as she looked at the heavily damaged Hammerhead corvette.

"There must have been one heck of a fight," Satele stated as she, Sabine and Kanan walked into one of the Hammerhead corvette's corridors with both Mandalorians having their helmets over their heads after the CR90 corvette docked with the Hammerhead corvette with Kanan leading them with his hand extended outwards as both Mandalorians saw that containers were not stacked in placed and organized but were everywhere on the floor.

"Yeah, it looks like there was a battle here, Sis," Sabine said, agreeing with Satele.

"I can smell the carbon scoring," he told them as he approached a closed door, when he suddenly heard an electrical chirping of an astromech droid behind the door, "Over here." Satele approached the door as she placed her hands on it as she forced it to slide open with her hands before the three Force-Wielders entered the room with both Mandalorians seeing a rebel trooper, who laid on their back behind a container, groaning in pain with a Lothal astromech droid standing behind the trooper as it continued chirping before Satele approached the trooper.

"Hang on, all right? We'll help you," Satele reassured the trooper as she lifted him up a little with his back, "What happened here?"

"Red… Red blade," the rebel trooper answered, "After you… Made me tell… The Ghost is in danger."

"Another Inquisitor?" Satele said with disbelief, "I thought they were all killed on Malachor."

"Seems like one survived," Sabine surmised.

"We gotta tell Hera," Kanan told them.

"Got the Ghost for you now, sir," one of the rebel pilots told Kanan as he and both of the Mandalorians walked back into the bridge of the CR90 corvette as both Mandalorians removed their helmets from their heads and had them under their arms.

"Hera! Am I glad to see you're all right," Satele said with relief as a hologram of Hera appeared from the corvette's holoprojector with her hands behind her back.

"Yeah, we thought something bad happened to you," Sabine said, agreeing with Satele.

"Kanan," Hera said, greeting her blind boyfriend.

"There's another Inquisitor after us," Kanan told her, "He knows where the Ghost is."

"Kanan, it's not an Inquisitor," Hera corrected him.

"Oh, no," Satele muttered as she and Sabine saw a familiar Zebrak pushing Hera out of the way but was wearing Nightbrother heavy robes, unlike what he wore when they met him on Malachor.

"I thought he was killed on Malachor," Sabine said as she recognized the Zebrak as well.

"What? Who is it?" Kanan asked both of his Padawans.

"Just an old friend, Master Jedi," Maul answered the blind Jedi Knight.

"Maul? You broke our temporary alliance!" Satele snarled with anger towards the Zabrak.

"No, I broke the temporary alliance with your sister and friends," Maul corrected her, "But I would have remained loyal to you."

"What do you want?" Kanan asked the Zabrak.

"The Sith holocron that our apprentice and I acquired on Malachor," Maul answered.

"We don't have it," Kanan said as he crossed his arms.

"How unfortunate, because if that's true, then your friends have no future," Maul told them as Hera reappeared on the holoprojector but was on her knees with Zeb appearing on it next to her and was on his knees as well along with Chopper, who was standing next to the Lasat with two repurposed RIC-1200 tour guide droids aiming E-5C blaster rifles at them as Hera, Zeb and Chopper were all being held as hostages as Maul ignited one of his lightsaber's crimson blades from behind Hera, Zeb and Chopper.

"Okay, we have it. Just not with us," Satele explained as she didn't want Hera, Zeb or Chopper to die from Maul's hands.

"We'll give it to you, as long as our friends remain safe," Kanan told him.

"And don't you dare kill them," Sabine added.

"Agreed. Good," Maul said as he deactivated his lightsaber, "Oh, and one more thing your Jedi holocron, give me that as well."

"Kanan, no," Hera said, pleading with her boyfriend.

"Fine," Kanan relented.

"I shall be in touch with coordinates," Maul told the three Force-Wielders, "Don't disappoint me."

"I can't believe you told Maul I have a holocron," Kanan told Satele with disbelief in his voice as he crossed his arms.

"I didn't tell him that you had a holocron, Kanan," Satele said, defending herself, "He must have known that you have one because you're a Jedi who survived Order 66."

"She does have a point, Kanan," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"I suspect that you both might be right, girls," Kanan said, agreeing with them.

"Is it still on the Ghost?" Satele asked him.

"Where else would I keep it, Satele?" He answered as he sat down on one of the seats in the CR90 corvette's bridge.

"Well, what about the Sith holocron?" Satele asked him.

"Yeah, we need to know where it is if we are to save Hera, Zeb and Chopper," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"Yeah, that's not gonna be easy," Kanan told them.

"I thought you said it was safe," Satele recalled.

"Yeah, how will it not be easy if it is safe?" Sabine asked him with confusion in her voice.

"It is safe," he confirmed, "That may be the problem, girls."

"I assumed that this ship was merely a transport, but I realize it is much more than that," Maul admitted as he stared at Sabine and Satele's large starbird on one of the walls in the common room that Lando was admiring when he met them as the Ghost traveled through Hyperspace as Hera and Zeb sat around the holotable with Chopper standing next to Zeb as his repurposed RIC-1200 tour guide droids aimed their blasters at them, "This is your home."

"You looking to move in?" Zeb asked the Zabrak in a tone that sounded like he was mocking him.

"Captain, would it be rude of me to request a tour of your ship?" Maul asked Hera as he turned around and approached her.

"Well, the airlock is down there, if you want to see yourself out," Hera said to him in a bitter sounding tone.

"Show me around. I insist," Maul said, aiming his lightsaber's hilt at her neck.

"No!" Zeb growled at the Zabrak.

"Why should I?" Hera asked Maul.

"You should trust me," he urged her, "For didn't the Mandalorians that you travel with ever tell you that I once ruled their people?"

"That can't be true," Zeb muttered to himself as Hera got up and left the common room with Maul, "Can it? I really should ask the twins once they come back with Kanan."

"Where does one who hides his identity hide his legacy?" Maul asked as they entered the hallway that contained everyone's rooms before staring into Zeb's room, where the Lasat's bo-rifle was as it was laying on a desk as the Zabrak sniffed the smell coming from Zeb's room, "That is a curious smell." She then led him to the room on the other side of Zeb's room and as it slid open, Maul saw that it had multiple paintings inside it and knew that it was Sabine and Satele's room as he rolled his eyes, "How colorful." She then led him to the room next to Sabine and Satele's room and as the door slid open, he saw that it didn't have anything in it but was just gray with a bed and a drawer underneath the bed, "Ah, yes." They then entered the room, "This is it. A dull and dour chamber. These are the quarters of a Jedi." He then looked around the room a bit, "Show me where he keeps the holocron."

"I don't know anything about him," Hera lied.

"That's not true," Maul said, seeing through her lie, "You know all about Kanan Jarrus. Or should I use his real name? Caleb Dume." He then extended his arm out towards her head as he used the Force to reach into her mind, causing her to grunt in pain, "Yes, it was your idea for the Jedi to train Satele. And it was from here that she, who had recently reunited with her sister, found…" Maul then turned to the drawers, "No, she stole the holocron." He then bent down and opened the drawer to see Kanan's holocron and laughed as he picked the holocron up from the drawer and stood back up, "That wasn't so difficult, was it?"

"So, you hid the holocron down there?" Satele asked Kanan as she drove Kanan's speeder bike with Sabine sitting behind her as Kanan sat behind the Mandalorians as the speeder stopped near the area where Kanan met the Bendu as they had a sensor marker attached to the side of the speeder as both Mandalorians had their helmets over their heads.

"More like I left it with someone, Satele," Kanan explained.

"Someone? Who?" Satele asked him before accelerating down the hill and hopped off with Sabine doing the same thing as she grabbed the sensor marker and stabbed it into the ground.

"Bendu?" Kanan said, calling out to the Bendu as he got up from the bike and began to walk around the area with his hand extended outwards, "Bendu are you here?"

"Bendu?" Both Mandalorians asked him at the same time as they both looked at each other.

"Who's Bendu?" Satele asked Kanan as she and Sabine followed their master as unbeknownst to them, the Bendu quietly grabbed the sensor marker with his thumb and index finger from the ground, "There's nothing here."

"Satele's right, Kanan," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister, "Nobody is here."

"He was here," he reassured them.

"Maybe you're just hearing things that aren't there," Satele said, not believing him.

"Yeah, maybe Satele is right, Kanan," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister, "Besides, I doubt that anyone would want to live here."

"Bendu! I need the holocron! Bendu!" Kanan said, calling out to the Bendu again.

"Mmm, Kanan, I don't see your friend," Satele told him.

"Neither do I," Sabine said, agreeing with her before they gasped as they saw a spider begin to approach them.

"Oh! Oh, but we do see crawlers! Lot's of 'em!" Satele said as more of the spiders began to approach them before she noticed that the sensor marker had disappeared, "Hey, where's our thumper?"

"Yeah, it just vanished without a trace," Sabine said, agreeing with her.

"If you both stay calm, they won't attack," Kanan warned both of his Padawans.

"Right," Satele muttered as she grabbed one of her lightsabers from her armor's belt before igniting it as Sabine did the same with her lightsaber, "Stay behind us!"

"Satele, Sabine, you both are making it worse!" Kanan told them, "It's possible to get along with them."

"Mmm, I tried that, remember? They almost ripped my face off," Satele reminded him.

"And I tried connecting with them with the Force after they kidnapped Rex," Sabine recalled, agreeing with her twin sister as the spiders began to surround them before scattering away, "What's going on? What are they running from?"

"He's here," Kanan explained.

"What?" Both Mandalorians asked with confusion before the sensor marker that they brought was thrown onto the ground in front of them and saw that it had been snapped in half before turning around and saw the large coral plant slowly rise up from cover, groaning as it turned towards them, revealing it to be the Bendu.

"The Jedi returns, and with his students, whom I see are Mandalorians, a rarity for your kind to be attuned to the Force. Perhaps you've come for a talk?" The Bendu said, laughing.

"I don't believe it," Satele said as she removed her helmet from her head and placed it under her arm.

"Care to introduce us, Kanan?" Sabine asked the blind Jedi Knight as she removed her helmet from her head and placed it under her arm as well.

"Sabine, Satele, this is the Bendu. Bendu, these are my Padawans, Satele and Sabine Wren," Kanan said, introducing both Mandalorians and the Bendu to each other, "Unfortunately, we don't have time to chat, Bendu. We've come for the holocron."

"Ah, yes, the keeper of the shadow lore," the Bendu said, referring to the Sith holocron, "Why do you want it?"

"Tell him, girls," Kanan requested both Mandalorians.

"Uh… Okay. We need it to save our friends," Satele began to explain to the mysterious Force-Wielder, "A Sith, Darth Maul, has them. He wants it."

"He also once ruled our people for a few months when we were toddlers during a galaxy-wide conflict known as the Clone Wars," Sabine added.

"I do not know this darksider, but I know his kind," the Bendu told them, "Why does he want it?"

"I don't know," Kanan answered, "But he also wants my Jedi holocron."

"Oh. He would bring them together?" The Bendu said as he realized what Maul wanted with both holocrons, "Such a vergence carries grave danger."

"Why?" Satele asked him, "I thought the holocrons were just libraries of information."

"Yeah, aren't they libraries with information stored within them?" Sabine asked, agreeing with her sister.

"They are that and more," the Bendu told them before explaining to the Mandalorians what he meant, "If two such powerful sources of knowledge are united, they will grant a clarity of vision beyond your kind."

"What does that mean?" Kanan asked him.

"When joined, any secret, wisdom or destiny can be seen through the Force," the Bendu explained, "One could bring much chaos with such hidden truths. I have seen it before."

"Well, we can't control what Maul will do," Satele told Kanan.

"I agree, Satele. Whatever he wants to do with them could cause something bad to happen," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"That's his point, girls," Kanan told both of his Padawans.

"Well, we still need it to save our friends, Kanan," Satele reminded him.

"She's got a point, Kanan," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"So, are you gonna give it back, or not?" Satele asked the Bendu as she turned towards him.

"Hmm. The object you seek is a source of imbalance between you and your teacher," he told her, "If you want it, you must seek it out with him."

"Where is it?" Satele asked him.

"Somewhere safe," the Bendu answered, turning towards a cave to his side.

"All right, I'll go, but Sabine will be the only one that is coming with me," Satele said as she began to walk towards the cave.

"I was going to go with you no matter what, Sis," Sabine said as she followed her.

"The cave runs deep, with many twists and turns," the Bendu told them, "How can either of you be sure where it is now? Huh?"

"I can hear something," Kanan told them.

"If you listen, you can hear it," the Bendu told Kanan as he leaned towards the blind Jedi Knight's ear.

"I'll hold onto these," Kanan told Satele as used the Force to pull her lightsabers into his hands, "You also need to take off your Vambraces and Sabine hand me your lightsaber as well."

"Kanan! The spiders…" Satele began to say.

"Will attack as soon as you both turn on your lightsabers and use your Vambraces on them," Kanan told them.

"If what you say is true, Kanan, then'll I'll hand my lightsaber over to you," Sabine said as she grabbed her lightsaber from her armor's belt and handed it to him.

"Okay, I'll hand you my Vambraces," Satele said as she took off her Vambraces and handed them to Kanan.

"Sabine, use your comlink instead and Satele, you should use your helmet's flashlight," Kanan told the twins," I'll try to guide you both from here.

"I'd rather have my lightsabers and Vambraces," Satele muttered as she sighed as she placed her helmet back over her head as she continued walking towards the cave.

"Me too, but only with my lightsaber instead" Sabine said, agreeing with her sister as she continued to follow her sister into the cave.

"Why take their weapons?" The Bendu asked Kanan.

"They've gotta learn how to solve problems without them, despite their heritage as warriors," Kanan explained.

"You will yield to my power," Maul told Kanan's holocron as he sat on the bed in Kanan's room, trying to open the holocron, only for it to not budge as he began to get frustrated.

"Looks like someone's not happy," Zeb muttered as he and Hera heard Maul's frustrated shouts from Kanan's room as they sat around the common room's holotable as Maul's repurposed RIC-1200 tour guide droids continued to watch them as they continued to aim their E-5C blaster riles at them, as one of them rolled through a door to another room.

"Yeah, let's make his day worse," Hera suggested, "Ready?"

Zeb then kicked Chopper with his foot, pushing the astromech towards the wall containing Sabine and Satele's painting as the tour guide droid that left the room rolled back into the room as Hera jumped up from the holotable and landed in front of the tour droid that reentered the room and punched it before turning to another of the tour guide droids and punched it's head with its blaster as she grabbed the droid's blaster rifle and disabled the droid as Zeb came up to the last tour guide droid and punched it as well before grabbing the droid's blaster as Chopper began to disable their stuncuffs with his spark projector.

"Get to the engine room. Quietly," Hera whispered to Zeb as they quietly left the common room to the hallway and opened the hatch on the floor and climbed down a ladder that was underneath before Chopper hovered down the hatch as Zeb climbed down the ladder as well as he placed the hatch back in place as Maul reentered the common room as this happened and saw that Hera, Chopper and Zeb had left the room.

"Here he comes," Zeb said from the deck below the common room as he heard Maul's metallic footsteps from his cybernetic legs, "He makes an awful lot of clanking."

"He is part droid," Hera reminded him, "Which is something we can use against him." She and Zeb then backed away from the door that led to the cargo hold as Chopper rolled onto the floor at the edge of the room as Maul slid down the ladder from the cockpit and began to approach the droid, "He's in the hold. Chopper, magnetize!" Chopper then turned to the astromech port behind him and plugged his scomp link into it as Maul grabbed his lightsaber from his hip as he and the containers within the room flew up towards the ceiling as Chopper magnetically locked his feet down before Maul ignited his lightsaber as Hera and Zeb rushed into the room and fired their blasters at him, only for him to deflect the blaster bolts with his lightsaber as he redirected one of the blaster bolts towards the scomp link, causing him to fall back down towards the floor with one of the containers falling onto Zeb before Hera rushed towards Maul, only for him to extend his arm towards her before using the Force to push her towards the wall and used the Force to push Chopper into the room behind them with the door closing behind the astromech.

"You will remain alive only so long as you're of use to me!" Maul yelled angrily at the Twi'lek as he approached Hera.

"Satele, Sabine, keep to the left," Kanan told his Padawans as he contacted them with his comlink as he stood by the Bendu.

"Left? You sure about that?" Satele asked Kanan as she had her helmet's built-in flashlight activated, while Sabine had her flashlight out and activated it as well.

"Yeah, are you sure about that, Kanan?" Sabine asked him, agreeing with her sister.

"Trust me, girls," Kanan reassured them as they walked around and soon saw one of the spiders in front of them as well as one behind them and gasped as they saw both spiders with one of them damaging Sabine's flashlight, "Satele? Sabine? What's happening?" As this happened, Sabine's flashlight began flickering before completely switching itself off as Satele deactivated her helmet's built-in flashlight.

"Satele? Sabine!" Kanan said into his comlink as he stood up and turned towards the Bendu, "Keep an eye on those, will ya?" Kanan then began to walk towards the cave as he removed his mask from his eyes.

"Perhaps master and one of the apprentices will rediscover their balance," the Bendu said, looking at a Dokma as it stood near the four lightsabers and Satele's Vambraces on the ground, "Or perhaps they'll be eaten. Such is the way of things."

"Satele, Sabine, jump!" Both Satele and Sabine heard Kanan say from above them as they were being surrounded by the spiders as he heard what was happening to them before he extended his hand out to reach them from above before Satele jumped up and grabbed onto his hand as he pulled her up before Sabine did the same as he pulled her up as well.

"What are you doing in here?" Satele asked him with confusion.

"Yeah, you said that you'll just guide us with our comlinks," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.

"Getting you both back on track," Kanan answered as he helped them back onto their feet before hearing one of the spiders approaching them as Sabine and Satele turned around as they saw the spider before Kanan placed a hand over Satele's armor's right pauldron as he extended his other arm towards the spider as he used the Force to calm the spider down before it backed away from them, surprising both Mandalorians.

"How did you do that?" Satele asked Kanan as they walked through the caves into another tunnel, "I can't do that."

"Nor can I," Sabine said, agreeing with Satele, "How did you even calm down the spiders with the Force?"

"Well, I've been forced to see things differently since Malachor," he explained as he had his hand extended outwards as he walked forward as Satele stopped following him and crossed her arms for a second before she continued to follow him with Sabine.

"Kanan, about what happened…" Satele began to say as they entered another tunnel within the cave, "I'm sorry for it. For everything that happened on Malachor."

"You don't have to apologize to him for what happened on Malachor, Sis," Sabine told her, "Everything that happened on Malachor was bound to happen as we didn't know what would happen to Kanan or Ahsoka."

"Sabine's right, Satele. It wasn't your fault, nor did we expect for me to get blinded by Maul or Ahsoka being killed by Vader," Kanan told Sabine, agreeing with Sabine as he placed a hand over her armor's left pauldron, "I also never blamed you for what happened on Malachor. It's time for you to forgive yourself."

"Yes, Master," Satele said, smiling as she removed her helmet from her head and handed it to Sabine as she hugged him, which surprised him for a second before he hugged her back.

"Finally, you two made up," Sabine told them as she handed Satele back her helmet, who placed it back over her head as they continued to walk through the cave's tunnels as the Bendu sensed that both Kanan and Satele have made up from what happened on Malachor from outside the cave as he smiled.

"There it is!" Satele announced as she saw a light emanating from a tunnel as she, Sabine and Kanan with their master having his hand over Satele's right shoulder before she and Sabine saw that there were a few spiders surrounding another spider where the holocron was placed upon.

"Stay calm, girls," Kanan reminded them as he had his hands on both Satele and Sabine's shoulders before the three of them extended their right arms out and began to use the Force to levitate the holocron towards them as the spiders began to wake up, "Steady."

"Kanan!" Both Satele and Sabine said as the holocron landed in Satele's hand as they turned around and saw one of the spiders standing behind them.

"Don't be a threat," he reminded them as he turned around towards the spider, extending his arm towards it, "Go in peace." The spider then began to back away from them as Kanan, Satele and Sabine began to leave the cave.

"Your conflict has ended," the Bendu told Kanan and Satele as they left the cave with Sabine, "Perhaps balance is restored."

"Thanks, Bendu," Kanan told him as Satele handed Kanan back his mask as she had it in her hand.

"Your true struggle has only begun. Be warned," the Bendu said as Kanan placed his mask back over his eyes as Satele picked up her lightsabers and clipped them back on her armor's belt before picking up her Vambraces and placed them back over her arms as Sabine picked up her lightsaber and Kanan's as she clipped hers back onto her armor's belt as well as she handed Kanan his lightsaber as he clipped it onto his belt as they approached him, "The darksider will not be able to open your Jedi holocron. That task will fall to one of you."

"So, that means we'll have the power of both holocrons, too," Satele said as she knew what he meant.

"But we must use it for good, Satele," Sabine reminded her.

"Do what you must, but such power comes with a price," the Bendu told them, "Once a secret is known it cannot be unknown."

After leaving the Bendu, Kanan, Satele and Sabine boarded a stolen Imperial shuttle from Chopper Base with Satele piloting it as she sat in the shuttle's pilot's seat with Sabine co-piloting the shuttle as she sat in the co-pilot's seat next to Satele as they sat in the shuttle's cockpit with Kanan standing behind them as the shuttle lifted off Chopper Base and flew out of Atollon's atmosphere and into space before jumping to Hyperspace.

"You wanted it, now you got it, Satele," Kanan told Satele as she held the Sith holocron in her right hand with her other hand on the shuttle's control stick as she looked at the holocron with the corner of her eyes, "If you really think it'll help us against Maul, open it up."

"I'd rather hear what you have to say," she told him as she held her hand with the holocron back towards him, "What's our plan?"

"I think we oughta play it by ear," Kanan said as he grabbed the holocron from her hand.

"I agree, Kanan," Sabine said, agreeing with the blind Jedi Knight.

"How can you both take this lightly?" Satele asked them with disbelief in her voice.

"The greatest power Maul has is our fear that he'll hurt our friends," Kanan explained as he placed his hand on the back of the pilot's seat, "We have to control that fear. Stay relaxed."

"Okay, relaxed it is," she told him.

"You don't sound relaxed, Satele," he told her.

"Kanan, if you could see, you would know that she looks relaxed," Sabine told him.

"Thanks, Sabine," Satele said, thanking her for agreeing with her that she looked relaxed despite the circumstances with Maul keeping their friends as hostages.

"Do you want to know what the rendezvous that Maul gave us is, Kanan?" Sabine asked the blind Jedi Knight as the Imperial shuttle jumped out of Hyperspace near a large asteroid that was shaped like half a circle and was cut in half, making it a semicircular with a hangar bay within the center of the asteroid, which was located within an asteroid belt orbiting a celestial body known as Phelbos within the Bright Jewel system of the Mid Rim's Bright Jewel Sector.

"Actually, I do," Kanan told her.

"It's a Mandalorian asteroid outpost called Vizsla Keep 09," Satele told him, "It was constructed by Death Watch for Pre Vizsla during the Clone Wars. But once Maul killed him in a trial by combat on Mandalore, he took control over it after he learned of its existence."

The Imperial shuttle then landed inside of the asteroid outpost beside the Ghost before both Satele and Sabine got up from the shuttle's pilot and co-pilot's seat and lowered the shuttle's ramp before they along with Kanan walked down the ramp as both Mandalorians removed their helmets and placed them under their arms, while Maul walked down the Ghost's ramp as he went to greet Kanan and both Mandalorians.

"Over here, Master Jedi," Maul said, calling out to the blind Jedi Knight as they walked towards him, "Just follow the sound of my voice."

"Easy, Satele," Kanan warned Satele, placing his hand over her armor's left pauldron as he sensed that she had an angry expression on her face.

"He's right, Satele, don't do anything drastic," Sabine said, agreeing with him.

"Welcome, my apprentice," Maul said, greeting Satele as they approached the Zabrak with Kanan having his hand extended outwards, "I trust you found the Sith holocron illuminating?"

"I don't see our friends," Satele told him as she looked around the hangar bay.

"They will remain my guests until we conclude our business," Maul explained as two of his repurposed RIC-1200 tour guide droids entered the hangar, "I will take you to them now." The two repurposed RIC-1200 tour guide droids then rolled over to Satele, "Escort my apprentice to the command center. Uh, if you attempt to escape, or if the droids are deactivated, your friends will die."

"Good to know," Satele muttered, bitterly as the droids began to escort her to the command center.

"This way, Master Jedi, you too, other Mandalorian," Maul told Kanan and Sabine as they began to walk into a hallway as two of the other RIC-1200 tour guide droids rolled around Hera, Zeb and Chopper as they were guarding them within the Ghost's cargo hold, "Truthfully, I was never trying to blind you, Master Jedi."

"Oh, no. You were just trying to kill me," Kanan remarked, sarcastically.

"Well, if at first you don't succeed…" Maul started as he opened a door in front of them with a control panel before pushing him into the room that the door led into.

"Hey!" Kanan said as he cried out to the Zabrak.

"What are you doing?!" Sabine demanded as she moved her hand towards her lightsaber.

"Try, try again," Maul finished as he closed the door with the control panel as he used it to open the Mandalorian asteroid outpost's airlock, causing Kanan to be sucked out into the vacuum of space before he turned to Sabine and extended his arm out towards one of her WESTAR-35s and used the Force to grab it and fired a stun blast at her as he stunned her as she fell to the floor with her helmet dropping to the floor as well before he took out a pair of stuncuffs and placed them around her wrists before he picked her up along with her helmet after grabbing her lightsaber from her armor's belt and placed it on his hip, opposite from the one where his lightsaber was, "As for you, you'll be taken to the other prisoners."

"No!" Kanan yelled as he let go of the airlock before flying out into space and stopped as he grabbed onto edge of one of the wings of Maul's modified red and black Kom'rk-class fighter also known as a Gauntlet Starfighter named the Nightbrother before leaping forward, using the Force to jump onto the side of the Mandalorian ship's cockpit before leaping back into the Mandalorian asteroid outpost's hangar as he phased through its shields and grunted and gasped as he landed on the hangar bay's floor with his face and clothes being frosted a bit from him being exposed to the vastness of space for a few seconds before he panted as his face and clothes began to defrost as he got back on his feet.

"Terminate the prisoners," Maul whispered to one of the RIC-1200 tour guide droids as he entered the command center of the Mandalorian asteroid outpost after placing Sabine in the Ghost's cargo hold with Hera, Zeb and Chopper along with her helmet as Satele stood by the window as she stared at the Sith holocron that she was holding in one of her hands as she still had her helmet under her arm as the RIC-1200 tour guide droid left the room as Maul began to approach her, "I lived up to the end of the bargain. Your friends are safe. Come, apprentice, sit." She then began to walk towards him as he sat on the ground, folding his legs, "The holocron, if you please." She then threw him the Sith holocron with him catching it in his hand as she sat down in a meditative position as she placed her helmet on the floor next to her as the Jedi holocron flew into her hand as Maul used the Force to levitate it towards as it landed in her hand, "I doubt that you comprehend the power that is within your grasp."

"I know if we open these holocrons together, any question we ask will be answered," she stated.

"So you do understand," Maul said with surprise, "Well, my apprentice, what is your question?"

"You know what I want," she told him, "I want to destroy the Sith."

"You are as ambitious as ever," he stated, "As for me, I seek something more simpler, yet equally elusive."

"What's that?" She asked him.

"Hope," he answered, causing her to look at him suspiciously, confused on why he would want hope despite being a dark sider wielder, "Now, let us begin."

As Maul said that, both Force-Wielders closed their eyes as they began to use the Force to levitate the holocrons, opening them before they collided with each other, fusing together as the room was bathed in a brilliant purple light.

In the Ghost's cargo hold, Sabine was still unconscious from Maul shooting her with one of her WESTAR-35s' stun setting and laid on the floor as one of the repurposed tour guide droids began to approach the ones guarding her, Hera, Zeb and Chopper and aimed their E-5C blaster rifles at them when Kanan suddenly jumped down behind the droids from the catwalk above and ignited his lightsaber and slashed the heads of all three repurposed RIC-1200 tour guide droids off at once before deactivating his lightsaber as he used the Force to unlock Hera, Zeb and Sabine's stuncuffs.

"Where's Satele?" Hera asked Kanan as she approached him.

"With Maul," Kanan answered as Zeb helped Chopper onto his feet before the astromech grunted, while Kanan approached Sabine and tapped his hands on her face, attempting to wake her up, "Sabine, wake up."

"What happened?" Sabine asked, groaning as she regained consciousness and stood back up, "The last thing I remember is Maul pushing you out an airlock and using my blaster to stun me." She then went to grab her lightsaber before realizing that it wasn't on her armor's belt anymore, "My lightsaber's missing."

"Maul must've took it," Kanan told her as he began to leave the cargo hold down the ramp, "Let's go."

"I see nothing. Only oblivion," Maul said as he and Satele continued to use both holocrons for answers to their questions, "I must go deeper. Go deeper!"

"Wait. I see something," Satele told him.

"What do you see?" Maul asked her before shouting, "What is it?!"

"I see…" Satele began to say.

"Tell me," he pleaded, "Tell me what you see!"

"I see…" Satele said yet again.

"Satele!" They suddenly heard Hera's voice call out to Satele as she and the others reached the doorway as the light from the holocrons became even brighter than before as she, Sabine and Zeb covered their eyes with their arms, "It's too bright. Where is she?" As this happened, Kanan walked into the room, taking his mask back off and saw the silhouette figures of Maul and Satele within the light from the holocrons.

"Satele," Kanan muttered to himself, "I see her! Maul's close. I'm going to get Satele out. Be ready."

"Wait. You see her?" Sabine said with confusion in her voice as Kanan began to approach her sister, "Kanan!"

"Satele. Satele, listen to me! Look away!" Kanan ordered Satele.

"Kanan?" Satele said as she looked at her Jedi master.

"No! Stay focused, apprentice," Maul ordered Satele, "Gain the knowledge you desire."

"Remember Bendu's warning," Kanan reminded her, "Turn away before it's too late!"

"But it's so close…" Satele protested, not wanting to turn away from the knowledge, "The key to destroying the Sith. Just a little farther."

"I see him!" Maul announced.

"Twin suns," Satele muttered to herself.

"It's not worth it, Satele. Trust me," Kanan told her before closing his eyes as she listened to him, causing a shockwave as the holocrons were separated, knocking her out as the holocrons sat back in the center of the room, while everyone but Maul were knocked backwards as the Zabrak quickly left the room.

"Where's Maul?" Sabine groaned as she began to sit up before seeing her lightsaber and one of her WESTAR-35s near the holocrons, "Looks like you were right, Kanan. Maul did take my lightsaber, but he also took my blaster as well." She then walked over to her lightsaber and WESTAR-35 and picked them up as she placed her WESTAR-35 back in its holster and clipped her lightsaber back on her armor's belt.

"He lives," Maul muttered to himself as he entered his Mandalorian Gauntlet starfighter, laughing as he entered the cockpit and sat in the ship's pilot seat before it detached from the Mandalorian asteroid outpost as he continued to laugh, "He lives!"

"Come on. Find your way out, Satele. Come back to us " Kanan urged Satele, trying to wake her up as he hovered over her as Sabine stood nearby behind him and Hera, who sat in front of Satele with her legs folded with Chopper standing next to Sabine as Zeb stood behind them.

"Oh!" Satele groaned as she regained consciousness, placing her hand over her forehead.

"You okay, Satele?" Zeb asked her.

"I think so," she answered, "You look like you want to ask me something?"

"Uh, yes actually," he confirmed, "But not just you, it's something I want to ask Sabine as well."

"Well, what is it?" Sabine asked the Lasat as she turned to him.

"When Maul had me, Hera and Chopper as prisoners, he said that he once ruled your people," he told both Mandalorians, "Satele, Sabine, is that true?"

"Unfortunately, it is," Sabine answered.

"We'll explain to you how he became ruler of our people later, Zeb," Satele told him before turning to Kanan, "Kanan, you… You can see again? You can see me?"

"I could, but only through the light of the holocrons," Kanan explained, "Do you know what happened?"

"I saw images, pieces of something, but I… I can't make sense of 'em," she answered, "I don't know if it's what I wanted to see or what Maul was trying to see."

"What were they?" Kanan asked her.

"Places, mostly. Planets. Some familiar, some not," she answered, "I'm not sure what they mean."

"I'm sure you, me and Sabine will find out together," Kanan reassured her as they stood back up.

"I agree with Kanan, Sis. I think the three of us will find out what they mean together," Sabine said, agreeing with their Jedi master.
