It was windy on Atollon as Hera was speaking to Kanan, Zeb, Sabine and Satele with both Mandalorians having their helmets under their arms along with Rex and a couple of their fellow Phoenix Squadron rebel pilots as they stood around the base's holotable with a hologram of Lothal being projected from it, "Even though we still have preparation to do before we strike the Empire's factory on Lothal," Hera told everyone around the holotable.

"Satele," Satele heard a familiar voice say her name before she went to look for the person calling her name before dismissing it as she couldn't see them.

"I want to do a thorough recron trip to update our intel," Hera went on, "There's no need for the full squadron or our Separatist droid allies. A small unit should handle this."

"Satele," Satele heard the voice call her name again as she looked around before narrowing her eyes as she saw a very familiar Zabrak standing behind two rebel troopers in the distance.

"I'm assigning you the mission, Satele," Hera told the Mandalorian.

"Satele," Satele heard the voice call her name yet again.

"Satele," Hera said, calling out to the Mandalorian, causing her to snap back to reality as she gasped and looked up at the Twi'lek, "Care to join the briefing?"

"Sorry," Satele apologized, "Yeah. No, it's just I… I thought I saw something."

"This is your mission, Satele," Hera told her, "I need your full attention."

"Yeah, you've got it," Satele told the Twi'lek, "Sorry."

"All right. So first, you'll slip into the system and study the Empire's orbital defenses," Hera said as she began to tell Satele the plan to her and the others.

"Satele," the Mandalorian heard the voice call her name again as she looked away from Hera to the direction of where the voice was coming from.

"We'll keep our distance, but gather all the data we can," Hera went on, "I want Destroyer positions, TIE patrol routes, transport schedules…"

"Satele," Satele heard the voice call her name yet again and saw Maul walking behind a rebel trooper nearby, causing her to gasp and blinked, only to see that he was nowhere to be found.

"Something wrong?" Kanan asked Satele as he walked up to her and placed a hand over her armor's right pauldron, snapping her back to reality again.

"No, I… I just… I thought I saw something, or someone," she answered.

"The Recon Team leaves as soon as we're loaded up," Hera finished before placing her hands over her hips, "Questions?"

"Is Admiral Thrawn there?" Sabine asked her.

"We have reports of an increase in capital ships, but no confirmation as to whether…" Hera said as she began to answer Sabine's question.

"Satele," Satele heard Maul call her name yet again as she saw him walking in the distance again.

"Satele, what is it?" Kanan asked her as he felt her walk back into him and she saw Maul behind Rex and was about to point at the direction she saw Maul before backing into Zeb.

"Hey, Satele. You feeling all right?" Zeb asked as she now saw Maul standing at the communications center with his arms behind his back.

"There! Look!" She shouted, pointing in the direction of Maul at the communications center.

"What am I looking at?" Zeb asked her as when he looked at the communications center, Maul had vanished.

"You don't look very good," Hera told Satele as she turned towards her.

"Yeah, she's right, you don't look so well, Sis," Sabine said, agreeing with Hera as she looked at her sister with worry.

"Satele, what do you see?" Kanan asked Satele.

"Satele!" Satele heard Maul yell her name from behind and gasped as she saw him standing behind her, causing her to fall unconscious as she fell on her back on top of the holotable.

"Satele!" Kanan said, calling out to Satele as the projection of Lothal vanished from the holotable.

"Kanan, what's going on?" Hera asked her boyfriend.

"I don't know," he answered her, "I don't know!"

"Satele, can you hear me? Satele!" Zeb said, calling out to Satele.

"Sis?!" Sabine said, calling out to her sister, "Can you hear us?"

A while later in Sabine and Satele's room on the Ghost, Satele slowly regained consciousness as she laid on her sister's bunk of their bed with her helmet on the drawer next to the bed as she closed her eyes again as she drifted back to sleep as Kanan stood next to her on his knees, while Hera stood behind him with Chopper standing in front of her as Sabine stood across from her with her helmet under her arm, while Zeb stood behind them in front of the room's doorway.

"Wake up," Kanan said as she gasped as she woke up and sat up as he placed his right hand on her right leg and his left hand over her armor's pauldron, "Whoa, Satele. It's okay. You're safe."

"You wanna tell us what's going on?" Hera asked Satele as she moved her body to the edge of her sister's bunk and placed her feet on the floor.

"It was Maul," Satele answered as she looked up at her sister and the others.

"You mean, at the briefing?" Sabine asked her.

"I saw him. He said my name," Satele went on, "He was right behind me. I mean, he was right there."

"Satele, I was standing next to you," Zeb reminded her, "There was nobody there."

"Maybe it was some kind of, uh, Force vision," Hera surmised.

"I suspect that you're right, Hera," Sabine said, agreeing with Hera.

"Mmm, maybe," Kanan said, agreeing with both Sabine and Hera.

"Ah. If you ask me, she's just been working too hard," Zeb said before leaving the room as the door slid back open before Chopper grunted as he began to leave the room as well.

"Chopper, stop it," Hera told her astromech as she turned towards him as he left the room, grunting before the door slid back shut.

"No, Chop's right. Nap time's over. I should get back to work," Satele said, agreeing with the astromech.

"You sure you're all right?" Hera asked Satele.

"Hera, I feel fine. I just had a bad something," Satele reassured her as she stood back up, "No reason to stop the Rebellion, right?" She then grabbed her helmet from the drawer before she began to leave her and Sabine's room, "Come on, Sis. We gotta get ready for our next mission." With that, both Mandalorians left their room as the door to their room slid back open for a second before closing back shut, leaving Kanan and Hera by themselves in the twins' room as Hera placed her right hand over her hip.

"Tell me what you're thinking, Kanan," Hera requested her blind boyfriend as she knew he had something on his mind as she removed her right from her hip and placed it over his left shoulder for a second.

"I'm thinking whatever Satele went through with Maul, it's not over yet," Kanan answered before leaving the room.

A while later outside the Ghost, Sabine was transporting crates containing proton torpedoes on a loading dolly with Satele walking with her as AP-5 walked down the Ghost's ramp with Chopper.

"Stop. We have all the proton torpedoes we need for this mission," AP-5 told Sabine as he approached the front of the loading dolly, stopping her from transporting the extra proton torpedoes onto the Ghost.

"Well, not according to the weapons expert and the secondary weapons expert, which is me and Satele," Sabine told the protocol droid as she let go of the loading dolly's handle and placed her left over her hip, "We want two more cases of 'em loaded up."

"Why am I the last one to know about supply changes?" AP-5 asked as he began transporting the loading dolly up the ramp of the Ghost as he grabbed onto the loading dolly's handle, "I cannot work under these conditions."

"Ugh, it's like AP-5 and Chopper were made from on the same assembly line," Sabine muttered as she crossed her arms, causing Chopper to turn around towards her and pulled both of his metal arms out as he grunted at her, "Oh, I'm the one who needs an attitude adjustment?"

As Sabine and Chopper began arguing, Satele narrowed her eyes as she looked in the distance and saw Maul walking among their fellow rebel troopers, "It's him. I… It's Maul." She then began running towards Maul as she bumped into a rebel trooper that was walking past her.

"Satele?" Sabine said, calling out to her twin sister, "Hey Sis! Satele?" She then turned towards Chopper, "Chop, go get Kanan." Chopper grunted a response as Sabine went to chase after her sister.

"Out of the way!" Satele ordered two Phoenix Squadron pilots with one of them wearing a red uniform and the other wearing a green uniform with their helmet under their arm as she ran past them, "There he is!" She then ran past another rebel trooper, "I see him." She then stopped running as she couldn't find the darksider before hearing Maul laughing sinisterly but his laughing was faint in volume as she couldn't see him as she looked around for the source of where Maul's sinister laughter came from.

"Satele. Stop!" Sabine ordered her sister as she chased her, who continued running before stopping at a group of A-wings and walked down the aisle of A-wings before looking below one of the A-wings as she heard Maul's sinister laughing again and saw his cybernetic legs walking on the other side of the starfighter.

"I knew it!" Satele said as she jumped onto the front of the A-wing before leaping towards Maul and kicking him away, causing him to grunt but the grunt sounded different than normal as if it had someone else's voice and extended her arm out towards him as she used the Force to push him towards a group of crates behind him.

"Satele!" Sabine said, calling out to her sister as she walked with Kanan before they began rushing towards her as she placed both of her hands over the pauldrons of Satele's armor, while Kanan grabbed her by the arm as they stood in front of her as Satele grabbed one of her lightsabers from her armor's belt, "Satele, wait!"

"Let me go!" Satele demanded with anger before breaking free from them and igniting her saber's blue blade as she rushed towards Maul to strike him down, only for Kanan and Sabine to extend their arms forward as they used the Force to stop her from moving her arms and saw what her sister and Kanan were doing with the corner of her eyes, "Sabine, Kanan! What are you both doing?"

"Satele! It's not Maul! Look at him!" Kanan snapped at her.

"He's right, Sis. Look at him, it's not Maul," Sabine said, agreeing with their master before Satele looked at Maul again, only to see that it was actually a rebel trooper that she assaulted.

"You're out of your mind, girl!" The rebel trooper snapped at Satele, completely terrified at her as he ran away from her.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Satele apologized to the rebel trooper as she deactivated her saber before she bent down to the ground in distress and anxiety as Kanan and Sabine hovered over from behind to comfort her, "What's happening to me?"

"Maybe I should postpone the mission, stay with her," Hera suggested to Kanan as she walked with him as they walked towards the Ghost with her arms crossed.

"Satele will be fine. I've got a plan," he reassured her.

"Be careful, Kanan," Hera sighed as she walked up the Ghost's ramp.

"We will," Kanan reassured her as the Ghost's ramp raised up with Sabine walking towards him from behind as the Ghost left the planet's atmosphere.

"I'm surprised she got on the ship," the Mandalorian told him.

"I told her I had a plan," Kanan explained.

"Really? And she left you anyway?" Sabine asked him, sarcastically.

"Very funny," he muttered as he began walking towards the Phantom II, "Come on." He then walked up the Phantom II's ramp as he entered the shuttle for a second before exiting it with Satele's wrist communicator.

"My sister's wrist comm?" Sabine said with confusion.

"I need you to put a tracker on it without her knowing," he explained before throwing it into her hands.

A bit later, Satele was riding on Kanan's speeder with Kanan riding on the back of the speeder into the wilderness of Atollon with her helmet over her head as she soon removed her helmet as she stopped the speeder bike on got off the speeder bike as they arrived at the area where the Bendu hides out at as she saw him, while Kanan sensed his presence as they began to approach him..

"Bendu. You knew we were coming," Kanan guessed as the Bendu rose up from the ground.

"Yes," the Bendu confirmed, "You're not exactly quiet creatures, mm? But if I may ask, where is your other apprentice?"

"She's busy at the moment as why we came mainly involves Satele," Kanan answered before placing his hand over one of the pauldrons of Satele's armor, "Tell him what's happening."

"The dark side wielder me and my sister told you about, the one who wanted to join the holocrons together. I've seen him here on Atollon," Satele told the Bendu as she placed her helmet under her arm.

"I warned you, joining the holocrons together could bring both great wisdom and great danger," the Bendu reminded her.

"I know. I felt their power," she told him, "And I did see things, but my vision was incomplete."

"Incomplete?" The Bendu inquired.

"Yeah, I let go before either of us got the answers we wanted, and then the holocrons were destroyed," she explained.

"Aha. I see. Well, that's not good," the Bendu told them after placing his right hand over his chin for a second.

"What do you mean, 'That's not good'?" Kanan asked him, "What can we do?"

"What do you want to do, hmm?" The Bendu asked them.

"I want to stop seeing Maul," Satele answered.

"Then don't turn around," the Bendu told her and with that both Kanan and Satele turned around as she saw Maul standing on top of the hill with his arms behind his arms behind his back, while Kanan Sensed the Zabrak's presence before Maul walked down the hill.

"Bendu, what should we do?" Kanan asked the Bendu, only to discover that the mysterious Force-Wielder had Vanished as he no longer sensed that he was in the area they were in with the Force.

"This is a strange place," Maul said as he began to walk towards them, "So remote. Oh, yes, the Empire will have a difficult time finding you here." Satele then immediately grabbed both of her lightsabers from her armor's belt as Kanan did the same with his lightsaber as they entered lightsaber battle stances, "Y-You think I came here to fight?" He then turned towards Satele as he walked away from Kanan and approached the Mandalorian, "I came here to speak with my apprentice."

"She's not your apprentice," Kanan reminded him.

"Yet," Maul told him.

"How did you find me?" Satele asked him as she deactivated both of her lightsabers.

"When you abruptly severed our connection with the holocron, you mixed up the information. You learned a bit of what I want to know, and I learned a bit of what you wanted to know," Maul said as he began explaining to her how he found her before he turned around, "But there were fragments and memories in my mind."

"Like the location of our base," she realized.

"Yes. Very good and that I've learned that you have Jedi ancestors," Maul said, chuckling as he turned back around towards her, "Oh, you do learn fast, apprentice, even for a Mandalorian such as yourself."

"Look, I can't make sense of what I saw," she told him, "I couldn't even describe it if I wanted to."

"And that is why you need to come with me, so I can retrieve the answers which are just out of reach."

"So you get your answers, but what do we get out of it?" She asked him, backing away as she crossed her arms.

"I will keep your rebel base secret," Maul bargained.

"No deal," Kanan told him as he aimed his saber near the Zabrak's neck, "You're not walking off this rock in one piece."

"I have planted a beacon nearby," Maul said, chuckling as he took out a device, "Strike me down, and it will activate, revealing your presence to the Empire. You have knowledge that is rightfully mine. I have knowledge that you want. The key to defeating the Sith. What I purpose will satisfy us both."

"All right," Satele said, causing Kanan to deactivate his lightsaber and pull her aside.

"Satele, you're not doing this," Kanan told her as he crossed his arms.

"He's gonna expose Chopper Base," she reminded him.

"We'll move, build a new base," Kanan told her.

"Maul won't hurt me, Kanan," Satele reassured him after she sighed, "He needs me. Besides, this might be our last chance to learn the secret of how we can destroy the Sith."

"I do not like this," Kanan sighed as he relented, "But we don't really have a choice, do we? I'm gonna trust you on this."

"All right," Satele said as she turned around towards Maul as she began to approach him after handing her helmet to Kanan, "We have a deal." As she said that Maul's Kom'rk-class fighter, the Nightbrother flew towards them before hovering behind them above the top of the hill with the ramp lowering down towards them.

"After you, my apprentice," Maul told her, gesturing her to the ship first before she walked onto the Nightbrother's ramp with Maul following her before the ramp rose up as it flew away as it left Atollon.

Kanan soon returned to Chopper Base after hopping back on his speeder bike and now had his mask over his eyes as he stopped the speeder bike as he approached the Phantom II, where Sabine was working on the shuttle from one side of it with a device in her hand before jumping down from the shuttle's hull.

"I'm tracking Satele's signal," she told him as she walked towards him, "They just made the jump to Hyperspace."

"Let's get going. I don't want to lose 'em," Kanan told her as he ran into the shuttle followed by Sabine as the shuttle's rear entrance closed and the ramp was inserted back inside the shuttle before the shuttle lifted off the ground and left Attolon as it began to follow the Nightbrother.

"Where are we?" Satele asked Maul as the Nightbrother jumped out of Hyperspace near a planet with a blood-red colored surface and atmosphere as they began to approach the planet.

"That is Dathomir, my home," Maul answered as the Kom'rk-class fighter flew down towards the planet below with the wings rotating upwards as the ship landed on the surface and wastelands of Dathomir.

"If this is your home, where are your people?" She asked him as they walked down the Nightbrother's ramp as she saw that the area was deserted, "Where is everybody?"

"I am the last survivor," Maul told her, "My family, the Nightsisters, were killed. Masterful witches they were. A threat to the Empire. I know that you can relate."

"These witches, they use the Force?" She asked him.

"Some aspect, yes," Maul confirmed as he looked up at a doorway above that was shaped like a Nightsister above, "But it was their connection to this planet that made them strong. That is why we're here to preform…" he chuckled for a second before continuing, "some old magick." The Mandalorian and Zebrak then began to walk through the planet's ruins, "Yes. Yes, everything that we need lies within the cave."

"I'm not going any further until you tell me how this works," she told him as she stopped and crossed her arms.

"The only way to access the knowledge we seek is to merge our minds again. The effect will only last a moment. Just enough time for each of us to find the answers to our questions," Maul explained as he turned around towards her, "Trust me, Satele," he then sighed as he said that, "I only want the answers I deserve, nothing more."

"What do we have to do?" She asked him.

"Come," he told her as he turned back around as he began to enter the cave into what once was the Nightsister village with Satele following him.

"I have gathered many things, secrets to help restore our memory," Maul explained to Satele as they entered a room within the Nightsister village that was littered with objects.

"Look at this junk," Satele said as she looked at the objects that the room was littered with.

"Do not touch anything," Maul warned her, "These are artifacts from my past, from a time when my power was almost absolute, even from when I ruled your people."

"Is that who I think it is?" Satele asked as she saw a painting of a young woman with light skin, blue eyes and blonde hair on one of the walls as she walked towards it but was heavily vandalized with the eyes and throat of the woman scratched out with the artwork also being in poor condition as the woman was ghostly white instead of light skinned as below the painting was an altar with a type of lightsaber with it's hilt being made from Beskar and was somewhat shaped rectangular instead of the usual cylinder shaped lightsaber hilts that most lightsabers have.

"Yes, it is. That is a painting of the former ruler of Mandalore, Duchess Satine Kryze," Maul confirmed as he continued searching for what he needed to perform a ritual to access their memories.

"Why do you have it?" She asked him.

"To put it simply, it is a reminder to remind me of my greatest victory," Maul answered before she went to grab the lightsaber, only for Maul to notice and look at her before he walked up behind her, "Get away from there!"

"That's the Darksaber," she told him, "You shouldn't have it. It belongs to the Mandalorians alone, it's not some trophy."

"Well, I won it in combat," he reminded her, "Isn't that ownership enough for you?"

"No, actually," she answered, "Because it's a symbol of leadership for Manda'lor. So it should be given to me so me and my sister could hand it back to our people whenever we reunite with our family."

"Fine, if you're so determined for me to hand it back to your people, then I'll hand it to you after we conclude our business here," he relented.

"Thank you," she said, gratefully as she really wanted to return the Darksaber back to her people.

"Why is Satele so willing to trust Maul again and again?" Sabine asked Kanan as she piloted the Phantom II towards Dathomir, "After he betrayed us and Ahsoka on Malachor, when I got my Kyber crystal and when he ruled our home planet near the end of the Clone Wars, which in turn led to the Siege of Mandalore and Imperial rule on our home planet."

"She isn't," Kanan told her, "Remember what she told us on Malachor after we rode that lift at the temple on Malachor when we split up from him and Ahsoka, she was seeing what he was planning. I just hope she's doing the same thing like she did on Malachor."

"Me too, Kanan," Sabine sighed as she agreed with her master, "Me too."

"I have studied the ways of the Nightsisters and found a spell that suits our needs," Maul told Satele as they stood in front of an altar as she handed him two goblets as three glasses of potion where the Nightsisters' potion for their magick was stored within, "This… This altar is the focus of their ancient power," he then poured the potions from the left glass into the glass in the middle before doing the same with the right glass before he picked up the middle glass as he poured the potion into both goblets, "Now, to initiate the merge, we… we must each drink this potion."

"Mmm, you first," Satele said after he handed her one of the goblets to which he clanged the mouth of his goblet against hers before drinking the potion from his goblet.

"Mmm. To complete the spell, you must drink it all. Just like me, all of it," Maul told her after he finished drinking the potion from his goblet before she did the same as Maul chuckled, "It's working." He placed his hands in front of his eyes as Satele coughed as they closed their eyes for a second as he removed his hands from his eyes before reopening them as their eyes began to glow a radiant green.

The Phantom II soon landed on Dathomir outside the cave, near the Nightbrother as both Kanan and Sabine immediately ran out of the shuttle after the rear entrance opened back up as it's ramp also lowered with Sabine's control pad beeping, "They should be this way. Come on," Sabine said as they began running into the cave.

"Where is he?" Maul asked as the radiant green beams of light were shot out from both of his and Satele's eyes as they merged together, forming a spherical circular shape.

"I want to know how to destroy the Sith," Satele said as she looked up at the spherical circular shape that the radiant green energy from her and Maul's eyes formed.

"I see," Maul went on as he began to see an image of a very familiar person to him that he knew from a very long time ago from before the Empire took over, "I understand."

"Who is that?" Satele asked herself as she saw the same person that Maul was seeing, "I know him."

The cloud of the magick began forming a planet with binary stars that the planet orbits around before vanishing completely with both Maul and Satele collapsing from exertions from the magick.

"Of course. It ends where it began. A desert planet with twin suns," Maul remarked after gasping as he leaned over the altar.

"He's alive," Satele muttered to herself with shock and disbelief, "I-I can't believe he's alive."

"It's time to pay our debt," Maul said as the lights around the altar went out after they stood back up before the glasses that contained the magick they used fell onto their sides on the altar

"Wait, wait, wait! What's happening?" She asked him as two green colored spirits rose up from the altar, swimming around them in the air as they growled, "What is that?"

"Pay our due," a feminine voice from one of the spirits demanded.

"The spirits of the Nightsisters must be compensated for the use of their magick," Maul explained.

"So, pay 'em, and let's get out of here!" She said as one of the Nightsister spirits flew past them.

"The price is our flesh and blood!" Maul explained, "Don't let them touch you!"

"Now you tell me!?" Satele said with anger when Kanan and Sabine suddenly entered the room.

"Satele!" Kanan said, calling out to Satele.

"Pay our due," one of the spirits of the Nightsisters said, repeating themselves.

"Kanan, Sabine! Stay back!" Satele warned her sister and their master as Sabine pulled out both of her WESTAR-35s out of their holsters and began firing at the spirits with them as Kanan pulled out his DL-18 blaster pistol as well, only for the blaster bolts from their blasters to just phase through the spirits, causing the spirits to laugh sinisterly as one of them phased through Sabine as they began to possess her, causing her to scream as she closed her eyes and blacked out as she began falling to the ground before Kanan grabbed her, stopping her from falling to the ground but as he did this, the other Nightsister spirit phased through him as well from behind, laughing as it possessed him as well, causing him to gasp as they fully possessed him before they both stood up and walked forward and sat on the floor in front of the altar with their legs folded.

"Satele! Stay back," Maul warned Satele as she began to approach her possessed sister and master as they stood back up.

"Kanan? Sis?" Satele called out to her sister and their master as she approached them as the possessed Kanan removed his mask and opened his eyes, revealing the same shade of radiant green that she and Maul had in their eyes moments earlier as he reached for his lightsaber from his belt and ignited its blue blade, which Maul saw and grabbed his lightsaber from his robe's belt and ignited one of it's blades as well as they began to duel as Satele turned to Sabine, who opened her eyes as well, revealing the same shade of radiant green replacing her eyes and smirked as Satele looked at her with fear and worry as she punched Satele back a bit as the possessed Sabine grabbed her lightsaber from her armor's belt and ignited its blue blade, causing Satele to grab one of her lightsabers in retaliation and ignited its green blade as they clashed their blades against one another, "Sabine! It's your twin sister, Satele!" As both the possessed Kanan and Maul continued to clash their sabers together as Satele did the same with the possessed Sabine's saber as they backed against each other's back, "You better not hurt him!"

"We cannot defeat the spirits of the Nightsisters!" Maul told her, "Follow me. I will show you a way to save your sister and friend." As he said that, they began running out of the room with both the possessed Kanan and Sabine chasing them, "Faster! We must reach the cave entrance."

Soon Maul and Satele began to reach the cave's entrance as the possessed Kanan went to strike Satele with his saber, only for her to turn around and block the attack with her lightsaber before his saber's blade sent her flying out the cave before she crawled back towards Maul with fear as he deactivated his saber before the possessed Kanan and Sabine did the same with theirs as they stopped chasing them.

"Wait. Why aren't they coming after us?" Satele asked Maul with surprise and confusion as she stood back up.

"The altar is the source of their power. They cannot venture beyond the cave," Maul explained as the possessed Kanan and Sabine began backing away back into the cave, "It is unfortunate about your sister and friend, Satele. But this… this is your opportunity to embrace your destiny, as my apprentice," he then placed his hand over her armor's right pauldron as she looked at him with the corner of her eyes.

"I told you, that is never going to happen!" Satele reminded him.

"Forget the past! Forget your memories!" Maul snapped at her before speaking calmly to her, "Forget your attachments. Our futures converge on a planet with two suns. We can walk that path together as friends."

"My sister and our master is trapped in there because of us. I can't just leave them," she retorted.

"You disappoint me, Satele Wren," Maul told her, laughing as he walked back to his Kom'rk-class fighter with his arms behind his back before he entered the ship and powered its engines up as the wings rotated downwards before the ship lifted off of the ground and flew away as it left Dathomir's atmosphere as she looked at the ship with anger on her face. Satele then breathed deeply as she began to walk back into the cave.

"Okay. The altar is where their power comes from. So, they can't leave the cave, which means I just have to get Kanan and Sabine outside," Satele recalled as she reentered the cave as the possessed Sabine crawled and climbed the wall behind her, "How hard can that be?" Just as she said that, her possessed sister snuck up behind her with her lightsaber in her right hand and the Darksaber in her other hand.

"You're unwise to reenter our sanctum," the Nightsister possessing Sabine told her as she ignited her lightsaber's blue blade as well as the Darksaber's black blade and went to strike her with them, only to miss as Satele grabbed both of her lightsabers and ignited their blades as the lightsaber blades clashed against each other multiple times before they went into a saberlock.

"That doesn't belong to you," Satele told the spirit possessing her sister, "It belongs to the Mandalorian people."

"Then take it from me, Mando!" The spirit taunted her as Satele saw that the entrance of the cave was behind the possessed Sabine and ran from her towards the cave's entrance with the possessed Sabine chasing after her, swinging the Darksaber at her, only to miss as Satele deactivated her lightsabers and clipped the one with the blue blade back onto her armor's belt as she slid underneath what could've been a pillar long ago as the spirit possessing Sabine used the Force to leap towards her, only for Satele to extend her arms out towards her as she used the Force to levitate her away as both Sabine's lightsaber and the Darksaber deactivated with the spirit possessing Sabine groaning before Satele stood back up and extended both of her arms out again as she began to use the Force to push her towards the cave's entrance as the spirit possessing Sabine began shrieking as she tried crawling back inside to no avail, "No! No! No!" She then stood back up as Sabine's body reached the edge of the cave's entrance as the spirit flew out of Sabine's body, "You cannot destroy us! You'll never save your sister and friend!" The voice of the spirit laughed as Satele avoided the spirit as it flew back into the cave.

"Satele? Sis?" Sabine said, coughing as she regained control of her body as she grabbed her lightsaber and clipped it back onto armor's belt as she sat on the ground as Satele walked up to her and picked up the Darksaber with her right hand, "Whatever you got out of Maul, I hope it was worth it."

"Do not go back in there, Sis," Satele warned her, "They'll possess you again."

"What… What about you?" Sabine asked her as Satele began running back into the cave, "Won't they possess you, too?"

"I'm counting on it!" Satele answered as she continued running back into the cave.

"Kanan?" Satele called out to her possessed master as she entered the room containing the altar as she saw him sitting on the altar with his legs folded as the green colored cloud-like mist surrounded him.

"Maul promised us flesh and blood. With it, we can begin again and rebuild the great clan of the Nightsisters," the Nightsister spirit possessing Kanan told her as he looked up at her.

"If Maul made you that promise, then it's my debt as well. I will pay it. Just let my friend go," she told the spirit possessing Kanan, offering herself up to let him go from the Nightsister's possession over him.

"Perhaps, if you prove to be stronger, like the Mandalorian warrior you are," the spirit said, accepting her offer, but wanted to see if she was stronger first as the spirit grabbed Kanan''s lightsaber from his belt as he stood up before igniting its blade as he walked up to as she ignited her lightsaber with the green blade after she clipped the Darksaber onto her armor's belt as oth sabers clashed with one another as she backed away with the spirit using the Force to leap towards her as their sabers went into a saberlock as she backed away from him again.

"I know you're in there! I'm not losing you to these monsters!" She told Kanan as she wasn't gonna give him up to the Nightsister spirit that was possessing him.

"Our due must be paid!" The spirit reminded her as he clashed his saber with hers, causing her to let go of her lightsaber and the Darksaber as she fell on her back a few feet away before she sat up and extended her arm out as she used the Force to push Kanan on his back as he growled.

"Spirit, I am the one you want!" Satele told the spirit as she got back on her feet after picking up both her lightsaber with the green blade as well as the Darksaber, "Let him go!" The spirit that was possessing Kanan then flew out of his body and reentered the altar as she ran towards him as the Nightsister spirits from the altar began flying around the altar.

"Satele!" Kanan called out to her, coughing as she helped him up.

"You belong to us, girl!" The spirit reminded her.

"Kanan, get out of here!" Satele told Kanan as she turned around, facing the spirits as she ignited her lightsaber with the green blade, the Darksaber and used the Force to unclip her lightsaber with the blue blade off her armor's belt and ignited it as well.

"You belong to us, girl. The debt must be paid," the spirit reminded her again.

"Now, you will pay the price!" One of the other spirits added.

"I'm gonna have to owe you one," Satele told the spirits before slashing the altar with both her lightsaber with the green blade, the Darksaber as she used the Force to slash her lightsaber with the blue blade against the altar, destroying it on impact.

"No!" One of the Nightsisters spirits said with anger as every single one of the Nightsister spirits shrieked as they vanished as Satele was knocked back by a shockwave that she created from destroying the altar.

"Kanan? I'm here," Satele said as she rushed over to Kanan, who was sitting in front of a statue after clipping her saber with the green blade over her armor's belt before using the Force to place her other lightsaber in her hand and clipped it to her armor's belt as well and clipped the Darksaber onto her armor's belt as well before she picked up Kanan's mask and kneeled before him as she placed his mask on the floor next to him.

"This is the last time we're working with Maul," Kanan told her.

"I sure hope so," Sabne said, agreeing with him as she entered the room as she walked towards them.

"Sabine, I told you to stay outside," Satele reminded her as Kanan grabbed his mask and placed it back over his eyes.

"Hey, I've never listened to you on missions before, Sis. Why start now?" Sabine asked her with a smirk on her face, "Besides, I figured you were gonna need some help."

"Well, was it worth it?" Kanan asked Satele as she helped him up, "Did you find out what you wanted to know?"

"Yes, the answer to my question of how to destroy the Sith is Obi-Wan Kenobi," she answered after sighing.

"You think he's still alive?" He asked her.

"He must be," she answered, "But Kanan, Maul's also looking for him."

"So he knows where he is now?" He asked her.

"The holocron didn't tell us that. It just told us a planet with twin suns," she explained.

"Well, that hardly narrows it down," Sabine remarked.

"Well, we're gonna have to figure it out, because if we don't find Master Kenobi before Maul…" Kanan began to say.

"There won't be any way to stop the Sith," Satele finished for him, "Kanan, you go, I want to speak to Sabine for a second."

"Will do," Kanan said as he began to leave the room and the cave, "Meet you both back at the Phantom II."

"What do you want to talk about, Sis?" Sabine asked her as Satele pulled out the Darksaber as she unclipped it from her belt and showed it to her, causing Sabine to gasp, "Is that?"

"It is, Sabine," Satele answered, "This is the Darksaber. Maul's had it here for a long time, possibly sometime after he defeated Pre Vizsla on Mandalore when we were toddlers."

"So, why are you showing me it?" Sabine asked her with confusion.

"Because Sabine, if either Kanan or Rau wants us to lead our people to rally them against the Empire, I'd rather have you be the one to lead them as I don't think I'm leadership material yet," Satele explained.

"Okay, Sis, if either of them ever wants us to lead our people against the Empire, I'll probably do it instead," Sabine said, taking the Darksaber from her before clipping it onto her armor's belt as they followed their master out of the cave.
