"Tell me what I want to know, bug," Saw demanded the Geonosian as he continued to interrogate him as the Geonosian began whimpering with terror on his face as Rex now had his helmet removed from his head, "What Imperial secret was worth the lives of my team, my friends?"

"Easy, Saw?" Satele said, pleading with the Onderonian to stop interrogating the Geonosian.

"We've all got questions for him," Kanan added.

"Saw, he's unarmed," Rex told Saw.

"You know better than anyone, we can't underestimate these things," Saw retorted as he let go of the Geonosian, who groaned as he rubbed his throat.

"I think he's afraid," Satele said as she noticed that the Geonosian looked like he was afraid of them.

"How can you tell?" He asked her.

"Let Satele talk to him," Kanan suggested.

"It's okay. We won't hurt you," Satele told the Geonosian as she extended her arm out towards him as she approached him.

"Hmm?" The Geonosian muttered as he backed away from her.

"I'm Satele Wren of the Mandalorian Clan Wren and House Vizsla," Satele said, introducing herself to the Geonosian as she removed her helmet and placed it under her arm, "What's your name?"

"Klik-Klak, klik-Klak," the Geonosian answered in his native language.

"Nice to meet you, Klik-Klak," Satele told him.

"You actually understand that bug?" Saw said with surprise and disbelief.

"Yeah, me and my sister learned to understand other languages than Basic and Mando'a when we were children but she's more skilled at speaking them than I am," Satele explained to the Onderonian before turning back to Klik-Klak, "Come on out."

Klik-Klak then left the corner he was hiding behind and stabbed his finger at Chopper's dome as he spoke Geonosian, causing the astromech to pull both of his metal arms along with his scomp link out in retaliation.

"It's okay, Chop," she told the astromech before turning back to the Geonosian, speaking to him slowly, "Klik-Klak, can you tell us what the Empire was doing here on Geonosis?" Klik-Klak began speaking in Geonosian as he bent down as he created a circle within a smaller circle near the edge of the larger circle with the dirt on the ground.

"Circle inside of a circle," Rex mused as he placed his right hand near his chin and beard for a second before lowering his arm, "That could be the rings around Geonosis."

"I need more than some scratches in the dirt," Saw told Klik-Klak as the Geonosian stood back up before Chopper grunted a response as he pulled both of his metal arms back out.

"Chopper picked up an energy reading in the direction Klik-Klak was going," Satele told everyone, "Down below somewhere."

"Probably another trap," Saw stated, "Another den of battle droids."

"Or the answers we're searching for," Kanan suggested.

"We came all this way," Rex said as Saw pulled out a pair of stuncuffs as he approached the Geonosian and placed the stuncuffs on his wrists, causing the Geonosian to begin fighting with him as he shouted in Geonosian to the Onderonian.

"What are you doing?" Satele asked Saw with surprise and confusion in her voice as Klik-Klak continued to protest as a holoprojector fell from Saw's belt.

"Aw," Klik-Klak muttered as Saw finally placed the stuncuffs over his wrists.

"Tracker," Saw answered, "I don't want it running off again." Chopper grunted as he rolled forward as everyone but Satele walked forward as she placed her helmet back over her head as she noticed the holoprojector and picked it up before turning it around as a dark skinned woman of around 20-25 years old with blue eyes was projected from the holoprojector.

"Hey, Saw!" Satele called out to the Onderonian as she ran towards the others with the holoprojector in her hand, "I think this is yours."

"Where'd you get that?! Give it here!" Saw demanded as he took it from her.

"Uh, you dropped it back there," she answered, "Is that your sister?"

"Steela. This is all I have left of her," Saw confirmed as he deactivated the holoprojector as he held it in his hand and walked away.

"Back in the Clone War, Saw's sister was killed by a Separatist gunship," Rex explained as he walked up to her and placed his hand over her armor's right pauldron.

"The Geonosians were Separatists, right?" She asked him.

"Yeah, and they created those gunships," Rex confirmed before removing his hand from her armor's pauldron as he started to walk with the others again before Satele began walking with them as well.

"I'm sure the proximity sensor was triggered by a meteor again," a female Imperial officer with black hair and blue eyes named Brunson on an Imperial Light Cruiser above Geonosis told two Imperial officers sitting in front of her on the Light Cruiser's Bridge with her arms behind her back, "Scan the quarantine zone for intruders and let's be on our way. I don't want to waste any more time on this desolate rock than I have to."

"Captain, I'm detecting life on the surface," one of the officers reported as an alarm started blaring from the computer systems in front of both Imperial officers.

"Deploy recon patrol," she ordered and with that two TIE bombers were deployed from the Light Cruiser and began heading down towards Geonosis.

Back on the surface of Geonosis, Zeb was walking up the Ghost with Sabine as they transported the deflector core onto the ship's cargo hold.

"Zeb, Sabine, I need you both up here!" Hera said, contacting both Sabine and Zeb with the Ghost's communications system.

"What now?" Zeb sighed before he and Sabine climbed up the ladder to the Ghost's cockpit as the scanner's alarms went off.

"Imperial light cruiser," Hera explained as Sabine and Zeb stood behind her, "They haven't detected us yet. We need to get the others back here now, but I can't raise their comlinks. They must've gone back into the tunnels for some reason."

"If I take a transmitter in the cave, think I can contact them from there?" Zeb asked her.

"Try it, but don't stray too far," Hera told him before turning to the Mandalorian, "Sabine, you finish locking down the deflector core." Sabine and Zeb then left the cockpit to do their jobs with Zeb holding a transmitter in his hands as he left the Ghost and began running towards the Geonosian temple.

Chopper grunted as he, Satele, Klik-Klak, Rex and Kanan walked into a dwelling place, which was Klik-Klak's home and saw a Phase I clone trooper helmet painted in all white placed on a stool nearby.

"This is where you live?" Satele asked the Geonosian as she removed her helmet and placed it under her arm with Klik-Klak answering her in his native language as she walked past the Phase I clone trooper helmet.

"Some kind of workshop," Saw observed as he saw mechanical items in a corner of the Geonosian's home.

"He's been maintaining that shield generator and those droids," Rex added.

"Droids he used to ambush us," Saw reminded him, causing Klik-Klak to explain why he sent the battle droids after them in his native language.

"Well, all of his people were killed, and… we came here with weapons," Satele explained, defending Klik-Klak as she translated what he just said, "Can you blame him for protecting himself."

"What else is it protecting?" Saw asked her before turning around as he began to search for clues on what else Klik-Klak was protecting.

"Huh. Transmitter looks functional," Rex muttered as he sat down on a seat in front of a transmitter and powered it on as it made a pinging sound as Kanan walked over to him, "Maybe we can boost your signal with it."

"Chop, give me a hand with this," Kanan ordered Chopper as he placed his hand on the top of the seat Rex was sitting on.

"Got a lot of stuff here," Saw said as he began to ransack Klik-Klak's home, causing Klik-Klak to protest in his native language as he rushed over to him and touched his back, causing Saw to turn around towards him as Klik-Klak bent down to the ground and created a circle within a circle like he did before, "No, no, no! That tells me nothing!" This statement caused Rex to look at him as Saw walked past the Geonosian, kicking objects with his foot before he continued to ransack Knlik-Klak's home.

"Saw, don't. This is his home," Satele pleaded with the Onderonian.

"That may be the only answer you're gonna get out of him," Rex told Saw, walking up to him.

"It's hiding something," Saw told them as he turned towards them as Klik-Klak walked away talking nervously in his native language, only for Saw to grab him, "What have you got in here? A weapon?"

"Stop!" Satele ordered the Onderonian as he threw Klik-Klak at her and Rex as she stopped Klik-Klak from being thrown farther as she placed her hands over his arms as he began whimpering with fear in his voice.

"Saw," Rex pleaded with him as he walked towards him as Saw showed him a Geonosian blaster that he just found before looking at Klik-Klak, "Sonic blaster."

"Still think the bug's our friend?" Saw asked her as he threw the Geonosian sonic blaster onto the ground as he went back to search through the rubble, "What else you got in there?" As saw asked that, Klik-Klak rushed forward and spoke in his native language and went to grab something from the rubble, only for Saw to pull him back as they saw a goldish-yellow colored oval shaped object in his hand as he whimpered.

"That's… that's an egg," Rex said as he recognized the object that Klik-Klak was holding.

"He's just been defending it. That's what this is all about," Satele explained, "That's what he was trying to draw."

"Looks like a queen egg," Rex observed, "It's very rare."

"That could be the last Geonosian egg left," Kanan said as he sat in the seat that Rex was sitting on moments ago in front of the transmitter with Chopper standing next to him.

"Specter-4 to Specter-1," Zeb's voice suddenly came through the transmitter, "Can you read me? Come in, Specter-1."

"Specter-4, we read you," Kanan said, answering Zeb's transmission.

"Kanan? All right! I got ya!" Zeb said as he sat in front of the crevice that led to the tunnel that Kanan, Satele, Rex and Chopper went through when they went to find Saw with his transmitter on top of one of the rocks next to the crevice before he began to adjust the transmitter's frequency, "Hold on. Let me patch you through to Hera."

"Specter-1, do you read?" Hera asked from the transmitter in Klik-Klak's home.

"Loud and clear," Kanan answered, "We've found something."

"So did we. The Empire is here! We need you back here so we can go," Hera told them.

"You too, Specter-4," Hera added on Zeb's transmitter in the Geonosian temple.

"On my way!" Zeb said as he began to leave the Geonosian temple.

"The tunnel we came in collapsed," Kanan told Hera with the transmitter in Klik-Klak's home, "We'll have to find another way out."

"What about that giant chasm we crossed?" Rex suggested, "It goes to the surface. Maybe we can find a way up."

"This thing comes with us, for interrogation," Saw told them as he grabbed Klik-Klak by the wrist, pulling the Geonosian towards them after pleading a protest in his native language.

"Then who will protect the egg?" Satele asked him, "If it is a queen, then it's vital to the survival of his whole race."

"Whatever that thing knows is vital to our survival," Saw retorted.

"Satele's right," Kanan said, approaching them, "They don't deserve extinction."

"The mission takes priority," Saw stated.

"Saw, we had this argument back at command. Your mission was to find out what happened here," Rex reminded the Onderonian.

"And I'm gonna make this bug tell me exactly that," Saw said as he began to pull Klik-Klak forward.

"No. If that egg is the last chance to save his people, then we have to help him protect it," Satele argued.

"I know some people in this rebellion don't want to admit it, but we are in a war, and war is loss," Saw said, walking right up to her in her face.

"Okay, but we're taking Klik-Klak and the egg to our base. After we question him with you being his translator, Satele, we'll bring him home," Kanan told them, trying to make a compromise as he placed his hand on Satele's armor's left pauldron.

"Agreed," Saw said, agreeing with the blind Jedi Knight.

"Kanan, what's your position?" Hera suddenly asked from the transmitter.

"We're heading back to the central air shaft," Kanan answered as he walked back up to the transmitter and placed his hand on the seat behind the transmitter.

As Zeb continued running back to the Ghost, Hera heard beeping from one of the computer systems in the cockpit before rushing back to the dashboard and saw two dot representing two TIE bombers enter Geonosis' atmosphere.

"We're in trouble!" Hera announced as the TIE bombers began bombing the area around the Ghost as Zeb stopped from a distance away from the ship, "Shields just took a major hit."

Back on the Imperial Light Cruiser, the ship's holoprojector projected a hologram of Hera's modified VCX-100 light freighter.

"That ship is a rebel vessel, Captain. Imperial records identify it as the Ghost from Phoenix Squadron," One of the Imperial officers told Brunson.

"The Ghost!" Brunson said with surprise in her voice, "If we destroy it, it would mean a promotion for all of us."

"Hurry, Zeb! Move it!" Hera said, contacting Zeb as he continued running towards the Ghost before she contacted Sabine as well, "Sabine, I need you in the nose gun, now!"

Zeb ran onto the Ghost's ramp as the ship began to lift off of the ground with the ramp closing as it was raised upwards after entering the ship's cargo hold.

Sabine began firing at the TIE bombers as she sat in the Ghost's nose gun as the two TIE bombers swung back around from the temple before she destroyed one of the TIE bombers before she began firing upon the other TIE bomber as the Ghost began to follow the TIE bomber as Zeb hopped in the Ghost's rear turret and began firing it at the TIE bomber, only to realize that one of the cannon's carrels were working and the other was clogged.

"Hey! I only got one barrel!" Zeb told Hera with disbelief in his voice.

"Thank to that storm, you're gonna have to make do!" Hera told hm as the Ghost continued to chase the TIE bomber and fire upon it as it evaded the lasers from the Ghost's laser cannons.

"Stupid sand, gets everywhere," Sabine muttered as she and Zeb continued to fire at the TIE bomber before firing at one of its wings seconds later, causing the TIE bomber to spiral down towards the surface of Geonosis below.

"Specter-1, we took out the Empire's first wave, but they'll send more," Hera said, contacting Kanan with the Ghost's communications system.

"Ugh. You better come and get us," Kanan replied on the Ghost's communications system, "Do you still have my signal?"

"Yeah, I think I see where you're headed," Hera answered, "Gonna be a tight fit." She then called out toSabine and Zeb, "Strap yourselves in!" She then began to fly the Ghost towards a hole in the ground, which was the entrance to the central air shaft that Kanan and the others were when they contacted her earlier before she slowly began to descend the Ghost down into the shaft.

"Oh, this doesn't look good," Zeb muttered as he saw that the Ghost was descending down into one of Geonosis' central air shafts, destroying a few of the bridges with the ship's hull.

"All these tunnels look the same," Rex muttered as Chopper grunted as he led Rex and the others down the tunnel as Satele held her helmet under her arm, "Are you sure Chopper knows where he's going?"

"He made a map as we went," Satele reassured him when Klik-Klak suddenly grabbed her by her right arm and began speaking to her in Geonosian as he pulled her towards another tunnel, "Wait. Klik-Klak says that he wants to head down there and show us something. Maybe this is a shortcut."

"We follow the droid," Saw told her as he pushed Klik-Klak forward.

"Our recon units were destroyed, and we've lost all trace of the rebel vessel on our scope captain," one of the Imperial officers on the Imperial Light Cruiser told Brunson as she was pacing back and forth behind him and the other Imperial officer with her arms behind her back.

"Pinpoint their last known position and take us down," Brunson ordered both Imperial officers as she stopped pacing back and forth as she began to walk back towards them.

"Down, Captain?" The Imperial officer repeated with disbelief in his voice.

"They've gone underground, and we're going to follow," she explained.

"There it is!" Satele said as she pointed down the tunnel she and the others were walking down with Klik-Klak as they walked back into the central air shaft as she saw the Ghost descending downwards from above as everyone but Kanan, Chopper and Klik-Klak to shield their eyes as the Ghost's ramp lowered as the ship appeared below them with everyone jumping onto the Ghost's ramp into the cargo hold with Rex being the last one as the ramp closed back up before they entered the common room as the door slid open with Saw being in front of Kanan, Rex and Satele, while Klik-Klak was behind them.

"Saw Gerrera, this is Hera, Satele's twin sister, Sabine, who is a Jedi like us and Zeb," Kanan said, introducing Saw to Hera, Sabine and Zeb as they stood in the common room in front of a ladder with Sabine having her right hand over her hip, while Zeb crossed his arms.

"Phoenix Leader, I'm honored to meet you," Saw greeted Hera, "Your actions have not gone unnoticed among the ranks of other rebels."

"Neither have yours," she told him as Satele stepped forward with Klik-Klak, who spoke in his native language.

"You found a local?" Zeb said with surprise in his voice.

"It's okay. That's Klik-Klak," Satele saud, introducing the Geonosian to them as she placed her right arm over Klik-Klak's left shoulder.

"Is he the only one?" Hera asked them.

"We think so," Satele answered as she removed her hand from Klik-Klak's shoulder.

"Well, that complicates things," Hera sighed.

"He's our only clue to what the Imperials did here," Saw added, "I wanna take him with us."

"Okay, what does Klik-Klak want to do?" Hera asked them.

"He wants to stay here," Satele answered as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language as she translated what he just told her, "He wants us to take him deeper into the planet."

"That's too bad, because we already have an agreement," Saw reminded her as he looked at Kanan, "Don't we Jedi?"

"We agreed that we would take Klik-Klak back to our base for questioning with Satele translating for him," Kanan told him.

"Kanan, can I have a word with you?" Hera asked her boyfriend before they left the room away from everyone.

"What's wrong?" Kanan asked her as the door to the room they entered slid shut behind them.

"Gerrera," she answered as she crossed her arms, "How much do you know about him?"

"Nothing, really," Kanan answered, "Just what Rex and Senator Bonteri told us. You have a problem with him?"

"We need to be careful. From what I hear, Saw's got a reputation for being a little extreme," Hera explained.

"Considering his past, can't say I blame him," Kanan stated.

"Leave him alone!" Kanan and Hera both suddenly heard Satele yell from the common room behind them Hera to widen her eyes before they reopened the door and saw that Saw was torturing Klik-Klak with an electro-transmitter on his wrist with Klik-Klak shouting in his native language after Satele was pushed towards them before Satele placed her arms over both of her armor's pauldrons, "Hey, you can't take him!"

"I said go!" Saw ordered the Geonosian as Zeb growled at the Onderonian as he went to charge at him, only for Rex to place a hand over his chest, stopping him as Saw pressed a button on his electro-transmitter, causing Klik-Klak to be electrocuted again.

"You're hurting him!" Satele yelled at Saw again with anger in her voice.

"Gerrera, what are you doing?!" Hera demanded the Onderonian.

"I'm taking your shuttle and the bug," Saw answered as he stopped torturing Klik-Klak and turned around towards her.

"You're not taking the Phantom anywhere," Sabine told him.

"Saw, we had a deal. We'll question Klik-Klak at Chopper Base with Satele translating for him," Kanan reminded him as he stepped forward.

"Your methods are soft, Jedi. We lost the last war because of you. I won't lose this one," Saw told them before pressing the button on his electro-transmitter yet again, causing Klik-Klak to be electrocuted yet again.

"Stop!" Satele ordered the Onderonian as she aimed one of her vambraces at him and launched a grapple at him with it to tie him up together with it, only for him to break free from her vambrace's grapple and grabbed her grapple and threw her towards a doorway on the other side of the common room as the grapple was pulled back inside into the vambrace.

"Easy, soldier. You're not in command here," Rex said as he grabbed Saw from behind before Saw hurled him forward.

"Now, move it, bug!" Saw ordered Klik-Klak as he pressed the button on his electro-transmitter again, causing Klik-Klak to be electrocuted again as he let go of the egg.

"The egg!" Satele cried out as Hera and Sabine went to grab the egg, only for Saw to pick it up.

"I don't want to do this, but you leave me no choice," Saw said, aiming his blaster pistol at the egg after pulling it out from its holster.

"Captain, you were right," one of the Imperial officers on the Imperial Light Cruiser's Bridge as it entered Geonosis' atmosphere, near the central air shaft that the Ghost entered a while ago, "The rebel ship has entered an underground passage."

"Let us pass, or I destroy the egg," Saw told the Ghost crew and Rex as he still had the egg in his hand, aiming his blaster pistol at it as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language with fear in his voice.

"Saw, you don't want to do this," Kanan said, helping Rex back up.

"I know you believe you're doing the right thing, but…" Hera began to say.

"Our enemy shows no mercy," Saw said, interrupting her, "Neither can we."

"If you harm that egg, you're helping the Empire wipe out the last of his kind. The last of his family," Satele told him as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language again.

"I don't care," Saw said as he looked at her.

"Yes, you do," Rex told her, "I know you care, because you know what it's like to lose family."

"Yeah, I know what it's like. I lost my sister to the Separatists and my planet to the Empire. I'm fighting for you and everyone else not to lose what they've got. And I won't apologize for how I do it," Saw explained.

"Then you're no better than the Empire," Satele told him as Chopper suddenly rolled into the common room from the hallway that leads to the cockpit as the door slid open and began grunting, excitedly with both of his metal arms out of his dome.

"They found us!" Sabine stated.

"We need to leave. Now," Saw told them.

"We can't take him with us," Satele argued, "Klik-Klak belongs here."

"Hey, if we all get captured, that'll end this debate real quick. Let's go!" Hera told them as Chopper grunted.

"They're cutting us off!" Sabine added.

Meanwhile on the Imperial Light Cruiser as it approached the entrance of the central air shaft, jumptroopers, stormtroopers with jetpacks being led with one that had an orange pauldron ran through the corridors before jumping out of the Imperial Light Cruiser as they activated their jetpacks' thrusters and began descending downwards into the central air shaft towards the Ghost.

As this was happening, Hera entered the cockpit and looked up at the top of the ship's viewport and saw the jumptroopers slowly descending down towards them as Sabine, Saw, Klik-Klak and Satele entered the cockpit behind her as the door slid open before sliding back shut.

"We got rocket troopers incoming!" Hera told them before looking at Satele, "Satele, tell Kanan that he needs to get up top now before helping your sister."

"Will do," Satele said as she rushed out of the cockpit with the door sliding open before closing again as she went to tell Kanan what Hera told her.

"Saw, can I count on you?" Hera asked the Onderonian as she turned towards him.

"In a fight against the Empire? Any time," Saw answered, chuckling before handing the egg back to Klik-Klak, who spoke in his native language in a relieved tone.

"Good. Get up there with the others and buy me some time," Hera told Saw before he nodded a response and left the room.

"What's your plan?" Sabine asked her.

"Well, we can't go up, so we gotta go down," Hera answered before turning to the Geonosian as she crossed her arms, "Looks like you get your way, Klik-Klak."

"Klik-Klak," the Geonosian said as he began muttering his own name in his native language.

Soon Kanan stood on top of the Ghost, near the ship's rear turret with Zeb and Saw with the Onderonian on his knee as he had his blaster pistol out and aimed it up at the jumptroopers above them as Zeb also had his bo-rifle out after grabbing it from his back before aiming it at the the jumptroopers as well as Kanan had his lightsaber ignited.

The jumptroopers then began to open fire upon them as some of the landed on some of the cliff faces for a second before continuing downwards as Kanan began deflecting the jumptroopers' blaster bolts with his lightsaber, while Saw and Zeb began to fire upon them with their blasters as Hera began to slowly descended the Ghost further down into the central air shaft.

"Pesky fliers!" Zeb muttered as one of the jumptroopers on an area that once held one of the bridges that also led to one of the tunnels before soon jumping down as the jumptroopers slowly continued down towards the Ghost as a few of them landed on the ship's hull and began firing at them as Kanan extended his arm at one that was standing in front of him and used the Force to push them off the Ghost's hull as Saw fired his blaster pistol at a jumptrooper across from him before another jumptrooper landed next to him and flung the Onderonian against the Ghost's rear turret's window before Saw punched the jumptrooper.

Saw and the jumptrooper soon began wrestling with him as Rex rotated the rear turret around and fired its cannon at the jumptrooper, knocking him off the ship as Kanan deflect more blaster bolts with his lightsaber before the jumptrooper reactivated his jetpack's thruster before Saw shot him in the chest with his blaster, killing the jumptrooper as they fell down the shaft as Rex fired the rear turret's cannon at two other jumptroopers, knocking them off the ship's hull as well and did the same for a few more jumptroopers in front of him on the Ghost's hull.

Two of the jumptroopers that were in front of Rex and the Ghost's rear turret then reactivated their jetpack's thrusters with one of them landing on the area that once held a bridge and led to one of the tunnels, while the other was hovering across from where the other jumptrooper was and below the other side of where the bridge that led to one of the tunnels was as Rex shot the one standing on the area that once held the bridge was before the other jumptrooper threw a thermal detonator down at the Ghost below, which Saw noticed and kicked it away.

"They've got detonators!" Saw announced.

"All right, let me handle it," Kanan said as he sensed the location of the thermal detonators as he deactivated his lightsaber and extended his arms out and used the Force to flung them into the air before exploding.

The Ghost's ramp then lowered as Sabine, who had her jetpack on her back, which she had repainted from its Imperial supercommando color scheme to match her armor's color scheme with Satele standing next to her as they both had their helmets over their heads as they both used the Force to leap into the air above the Ghost before activating their jetpacks' thrusters.

"Those troopers are in trouble now," Zeb said as both Mandalorians grabbed their lightsabers from their armor's belts and ignited their blades as Sabine landed on one of the areas where a bridge once was held that led to a tunnel and slashed her saber against the jumptroopers' E-11 blaster rifles before slashing it against their jetpacks, which began to spark with electricity as she kicked them off the area that once held a bridge that she was standing on, while Satele flew one of the areas that once held a bridge above her and slashed one of her sabers against their E-11 blaster rifle and slashed the saber against the jumptrooper's jetpack like Sabine did, which also began to malfunction as she kicked the jumptrooper off as well.

"Nice job, girls!" Zeb complimented both of the Mandalorian twins as he saw what they did.

"Wait, what're they doing?" Kanan asked, wondering what both of his Padawans were doing as Sabine joined her sister on the ledge above as they deflected blaster bolts with their from the final jumptrooper that was standing on a ledge above them that once held a bridge as well, causing the jumptrooper to fall off the ledge as one of the twins also redirected one of the blaster bolts towards the jumptrooper's jetpack, causing it to malfunction as well as he fell to his death below before they continued to do the same to the rest of the jumptroopers on the central air shaft's ledges before they deactivated their lightsabers and clipped them back into their armors' belts as they flew back down and landed back on the Ghost's hull.

"It's a good thing we both have Jetpacks now, Sis," Satele told her sister.

"Yeah, it is," Sabine said, agreeing with her.

"Captain, our rocket trooper squadron suffered heavy losses," one of the Imperial officers on the Imperial Light Cruiser that was hovering over the entrance of the central; air shaft reported to Brunson.

"How heavy?" she asked him.

"We lost them all," he answered.

"Move the cruiser into firing position," Brunson ordered after hitting him on the back of the head.

"We can't stay down here forever," Saw said as he climbed down to the common room where Satele was sitting with Klik-Klak around the holotable, while Sabine stood with Chopper near a doorway that leads to the entrance to one of the ship's ventilation shafts with both Mandalorians having their helmets and jetpacks off as Klik-Klak spoke again in Geonosian as Saw approached them and placed his hands over his hips.

"I wonder how deep this goes," Satele muttered as Chopper grunted a response.

"According to Chopper, not much further down," Sabine said, answering her sister before looking at her armor's control pad, "And he's picking up something on his scanner."

"I say we check it out," Satele suggested as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language again.

"Every second we spend down here seals our fate," Saw said, disagreeing with her as Sabine crossed her arms.

"We've come this far," Hera said, entering the room from the cockpit with the door sealing shut behind her as she placed her hand over the Geonosian's back as Satele stood up and crossed her arms as well, "If Klik-Klak thinks this is the way to go, I want to see why." Chopper then grunted a response as Saw nodded a response as well, relenting on what he said and allowing them to continue down the central air shaft.

Soon the Ghost reached the lowest level of the central air shaft and landed as the ship's ramp lowered with everyone but Hera walking down the ramp as they walked out of the Ghost.

"Over here," Saw said as he grabbed his flashlight and turned it on as he approached canisters with the Imperial insignia embedded on them before Sabine and Rex followed him as he shined his flashlight at one of the canisters.

"Those canisters. Imperial weapons division," Sabine said as she placed her right hand near her chin for a second.

"They're for poison gas," Saw stated as Sabine placed her right hand near her chin again.

"There," Rex said, pointing at the Imperial insignia on the canisters, "Just like his drawing, the circle in the circle. Now we know what happened to his people." Sabine lowered her right hand and placed the other one over her hip as Klik-Klak approached them, speaking Geonosian with Satele walking behind him and patted him on the back with her right hand.

"Satele's right," Saw said after a few seconds of silence as he turned around towards them and after Klik-Klak spoke in his native language again, "The Geonosian belongs here." He then approached Klik-Klak and removed the stuncuffs he placed on him earlier as he spoke to the Onderonian in his native language, "Those canisters are all we need to prove that the Empire wiped out its people. Everyone loses family in war, even the enemy. The Geonosian deserve the same chance to rebuild that we do."

"Go on, Klik-Klak. You're free," Satele told Klik-Klak after he turned to her and spoke in his native language to her.

"Where is he going?" Hera asked Kanan as she walked down the Ghost's ramp and stood next to him as she saw Klik-Klak begin lifting up rocks after setting the egg down on the ground next to him.

"I don't think this is the bottom," Rex said as he saw what Klik-Klak was doing.

"Maybe there are others," Satele suggested as Klik-Klak continued to move rocks as he spoke in his native language.

"Huh. They sure are a resourceful species," Rex added as Klik-Klak grabbed the egg and entered a crevice that the rocks were covering before sealing the crevice back up with a large rock as he spoke in his native language again.

"I hope he finds a safe place to hatch the egg," Satele said as Hera and Kanan began to approach them.

"He's kept it safe this long. They'll be okay," Kanan assured her.

"Okay, let's load some of these canisters as proof for the Senate," Hera ordered them as she crossed her arms as Rex, Saw and Satele began to walk towards the canisters to load them up to the Ghost's magnetic lock.

"We are in position over the opening, but there's no sign of the enemy ship. They must have descended deeper into the planet," one of the Imperial officers told Brunson as the Imperial Light Cruiser they were on hovered over the entrance of the central air shaft.

"Bury the rebels alive!" Brunson ordered before the Imperial Light Cruiser began to fire upon the Geonosian temple in front of the central air shaft with the ship's turbolasers.

"The tunnel's collapsing! Go!" Hera ordered as she looked up at the top of the cockpit's viewport after she reentered the Ghost's cockpit and saw rocks falling down from the central air shaft from above as she sat down in the pilot's seat as the canisters were picked up with the ship's magnetic lock underneath the cargo hold from outside the ship before Kanan and Satele ran up the ramp after everyone else did the same with Rex sealing the ship's ramp before running out of the cargo hold as Kanan and Saw ran for the cockpit.

"They're trying to seal us in!" Kanan said as he and Saw entered the cockpit and sat in the seats behind Sabine and Hera.

"We're not getting buried down here," Hera told him as she tilted the ship upwards and activated it's boosters as Zeb sat in the Ghost's rear turret, while Satele sat in the nose gun as they began firing the cannons at the rocks falling towards them before Hera rolled the ship around as they neared the central air shaft's entrance as the rocks continued to fall towards them with her evading them.

"The cruiser is directly over our exit," Sabine said as she saw that the Imperial Light Cruiser was hovering over the entrance of the central air shaft, "It's blocking our escape!"

"Their captain is showing their inexperience," Hera muttered, "All hands, fire forward batteries!" She then turned to the Mandalorian, "Sabine, fire proton torpedoes." Satele and Zeb began to fire upon the Imperial Light Cruiser with the ship's nose gun and rear turret as the Ghost left the central air shaft's entrance.

"Take evasive action!" Brunson ordered the Imperial officers on the Imperial Light Cruiser's Bridge as Sabine fired two proton torpedoes at the Imperial Light Cruiser, damaging the ship as an alarm started blaring as Brunson and the two Imperial officers tried balancing themselves as the Ghost flew past them.

As the Ghost flew past the Imperial Light Cruiser, the canisters suddenly flew off of the ship's magnetic lock.

"We've lost the canisters!" Sabine reported to Hera as the Ghost began to leave the planet as the Imperial Light Cruiser broke in half with the rear end exploding as Brunson grunted, frustratedly on the ship's bridge as she looked up at the Ghost leaving Geonosis.

"Unfortunately, all we were able to recover were images of the poison canisters used by the Empire against the Geonosians," Hera informed the holograms of Sato, Organa and Lux a while later as she sat around the holotable in the common room with Kanan and Satele, while Saw stood next to Satele with the hologram of Sato having his arms behind his back.

"The images makes me sick," Lux said, feeling bad for what happened to the Geonosians, "Genocide against the entire population of Geonosis."

"Agreed, Senator Bonteri. The images are frightening but not enough to convince the Senate of the Empire's atrocities," Organa said, causing Hera to lower her head with sadness, "They may, however, help us recruit more systems to our cause."

"Your intel concerning these matters, acquisition of a shield core and the rescue of Saw Gerrera makes the mission a profound success. Well done," Sato told them as the three holograms switched off.

"We also gave Klik-Klak and his race a fighting chance for survival," Satele added as she turned to Saw.

"We still don't know what the Empire was building on Geonosis," Saw stated.

"Maybe not, but they can't keep it hidden forever," Kanan told him, "We'll deal with it."

"I just hope it won't be too late," Saw said as he left the common room.

"You're welcome," Satele told Kanan and Hera.

"Satele, you're gonna find not all of our allies share the same values or even fight the Empire for the same reason we do," Kanan reassured the Mandalorian.

"I've also got my problems with Saw, Satele. But in the end, he proved he's not the Empire," Hera told her, "And for now, that will have to do."
