A month later, the Phantom II was flying towards Sabine and Satele's ancestral home planet of Krownest with Sabine piloting the shuttle as Satele sat next to her, while Kanan and Rau were sitting across from another in the back of the shuttle as Chopper was in the shuttle's astromech socket.
"Welcome home," Sabine sighed.
"You really think it's gonna be that bad, Sis?" Satele asked her.
"I haven't been back to Krownest since my trial after I destroyed my weapon that disintegrates Beskar after I escaped the Imperial Academy, Sat. And I didn't leave on good terms," Sabine explained.
"Well, let's hope things have changed," Satele said with optimism, "They might be happy to see you and me."
"I doubt it," Sabine chuckled, "And maybe you don't know how much our family has changed since Father left you with the Bridgers."
"I do," Rau told them, "Your mother is the leader of Clan Wren. She may be with the Empire now, but I believe her true loyalty lies with Mandalore and the both of you."
"Even if that were true she would think we're traitors for becoming Jedi," Sabine argued.
"If you and Satele can convince your mother to help the rebels, all of Mandalore might follow you, Satele and the Darksaber," Rau told her.
"Ah, I should let them know we're coming so they don't shoot us down," Sabine said after placing her hand over the Darksaber as it was clipped over her armor's belt on the other side of her lightsaber.
"Yeah, I think that's a good idea, Sis," Satele said, agreeing with her, "This is not even a Mandalorian ship after all."
"Su'cuy allit Wren. Ibic Sabine Wren. Ara'novor gedet'ye. Me'vaar ti gar?" Sabine said, speaking Mando'a into the Phantom II's communication's system.
"Elek, Sabine Wren. Ke Parer," A voice came through the comm system before they jammed the Phantom II's communication's system.
"What happened?" Kanan asked them.
"They're jamming us," Sabine answered as Chopper grunted from the astromech socket, hitting the side of the astromech socket with one of his metal arms.
"Incoming. Sounds like your family just sent out the welcoming committee," Kanan said as five Mandalorians wearing armor of Clan Wren with two of them having macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinders along with jetpacks began flying towards them and fired their jetpacks' rockets at them.
"Sis, they're firing their jetpacks' rockets at us!" Satele told her sister.
"I see them, Sis," Sabine said as she rolled the Phantom II around as she evaded the rockets from the Mandalorians jetpacks before the Mandalorians flew towards them, firing WESTAR-35s at the shuttle as they landed on top of the shuttle.
"Uh-oh," Satele muttered as she heard a loud thud from above as Chopper grunted at one of the female Mandalorians as they stood above him near the shuttle's fun as she aimed a WESTAR-35 at him as one of the male Mandalorians flew down in front of him and aimed his WESTAR-35 at him as well, causing him to raise both of his metal arms in a surrender-like manner as he grunted again before the male Mandalorian turned his WESTAR-35 to one of the shuttle's thrusters next to Chopper as he fired at the thruster, disabling it.
"We've lost the main thrusters," Sabine announced, "Brace for impact!"
The two Mandalorians jumped off the shuttle as they flew backwards away from the shuttle which began to fly towards the surface of Krownest below.
Soon the Phantom II crash landed in a clearing surrounded by trees covered by snow after Sabine was piloting the shuttle to control where the shuttle would crash land.
"Looks like recruiting the Wrens will be more difficult than I thought," Rau stated as Sabine and Satele grabbed their helmets and placed them over their heads as the shuttle's rear entrance slid open as they exited the shuttle after they placed their jetpacks over their backs.
"You weren't easy to recruit either," Kanan reminded him, "So we switch to plan B. Better stay out of sight. I have a feeling we're gonna need you later." With that, Rau sealed the Phantom II's rear entrance with a panel next to him as the Mandalorians flew towards them from above being led by an Imperial super commando with their armor having yellow on their pauldrons.
"Now, remember, Satele, we could related to these guys," Sabine warned her sister.
"Don't worry. I'll play nice," Satele reassured her as the Mandalorians landed near them aiming their blasters at them, causing her to grab one of her lightsabers from her armor's belt and ignite its blue blade.
"Satele…" Sabine began to remind her sister.
"Jedi wearing Mandalorian armor?" The Imperial super commando realized as he saw Satele wielding one of her lightsabers and began to open fire upon them along with the other Mandalorians doing the same as Kanan and Sabine grabbed their sabers and ignited them as well and began deflecting deflecting the blaster bolts with one of the blaster bolts colliding with the Imperial super commando's helmet.
"Satele!" Sabine exclaimed as the Imperial super commando fell to the ground behind him.
"What?! They shot first, Sabine," Sabine said, defending her actions.
"Sabine? Satele?" The Imperial super commando said, recognizing their names as he got up as he held his hand up for his troops to make a cease fire, "Sha'kajir!" He then proceeded to approach them as he ordered a cease fire as he placed his blaster rifle over his armer's holster on his right hip as Kanan and the twins deactivated their lightsabers as the Imperial super commando's troops aimed their WESTAR-35s at Kanan, Sabine and Satele as the Imperial super commando removed his helmet, revealing Tristan.
"Tristan?" Sabine and Satele both said at the same time as they removed their helmets and placed them under their arms as they began to approach their brother.
"You changed your hair again, Sabine," Tristan said, noticing how Sabine has changed her hair color and Style from when he last saw her at Sabine's trial before turning to Satele, "It's good to see you, Satele."
"You know me," Sabine said as she put a hand through her hair.
"Do I?" He countered.
"So you remember me, Tris?" Satele asked him.
"Not really. Only from stuff that Mother has told me about you," he answered before looking at both of his sisters, "Who's the Jedi?"
"Our Jedi Master," Satele answered.
"We'll explain everything," Sabine assured him, "We promise."
"I'll take you both to the stronghold, but I can't vouch for how you'll both be greeted," Tristan said as he began leading them to the Wren Stronghold.
Chopper left the Phantom II's astromech socket as he saw Sabine, Satele and Kanan follow Tristan and entered the shuttle as the rear entrance opened as he approached the door and started grunting, causing Rau to get out of the storage compartment below holding his WESTAR-35 in his hand.
"How can you wear that armor, Tristan?" Sabine asked Tristan with disbelief as she, Satele and Kanan continued to walk through the wilderness to the Wren Stronghold with Tristan leading them as he now had his Imperial super commando helmet back over his head, "How could you join them?"
"Yeah, how could you join Saxon's Imperial super commandos, Tris?" Satele said, agreeing with her sister.
"You shouldn't have come back, Sabine," Tristan stated as he looked at her and Satele with the corner of his eye through his super commando helmet's visor, "You too, Satele."
"Thanks," Both Sabine and Satele muttered at the same time before he continued walking forwards as they continued to follow him to their ancestral home with Kanan as both Sabine and Satele approached the stronghold's steps, where one of their fellow Mandalorian Clan Wren warriors were held their hand out towards them to stop the twins as there was two other Clan Wren Mandalorian warriors guarding the stronghold's entrance as both Sabine and Satele saw their mother walking through the entrance.
"So, it's true then," Ursa said as she saw Sabine before noticing Satele, "And I am surprised to see you, Satele since your father left you with the Bridgers on Lothal."
"Mother," Sabine and Satele both said at the same time, greeting their mother.
"Put them in cells. They'll both be held for execution," Ursa ordered.
"Mother, me and Satele need to talk," Sabine said as she grabbed the Darksaber from her armor's belt and ignited its blade.
"The Darksaber?" Ursa said with disbelief on her face.
"Kanan Jarrus, this is our mother, the Countess Ursa Wren," Sabine said, introducing her and Satele's mother to their master.
"What did you expect would happen here, Sabine?" Ursa asked her oldest daughter, "That you'd be welcomed in open arms alongside your sister? You're both wanted by the Empire!"
"We know, but we're part of the Rebellion now," Sabine told her.
"Please hear what we have to say, Mother," Satele said, pleading with their mother.
"I will tolerate the Jedi in our ancestral home, if the both of you and him surrender your lightsabers," Ursa relented as she walked back into the complex.
"Well, that went better than I expected," Sabine sighed as she and Satele walked back to Kanan.
"I agree with you, Sis," Satele said, agreeing with her sister before turning to Kanan as she extended her arm out towards him, "Kanan, you better hand me your lightsaber, so I could hand it to our fellow Mandalorians for Safe keeping."
"I was already going to," he said as he grabbed his lightsaber from his belt and handed it to her before she handed it to the Mandalorian, who stopped Sabine and Satele with their hand before Sabine and Satele grabbed their lightsabers from their armor's belts and handed them to the Mandalorian, who stopped them earlier as well before they walked up the stairs as they entered the Wren Stronghold.
"Your rebel friends are going to bring the Empire on all of us," Ursa told both of her daughters as she sat on a throne within the Wren Stronghold's throne room with her helmet next to her as Tristan stood on the left side of the throne with his helmet removed and under his arm, "Sabine, you believe the Darksaber will protect you? It won't. It's only a symbol."
"Yeah, a symbol that's united all Mandalorians in the past after the helmet of Manda'lor was destroyed," Sabine told her, "Look if we stand together now-"
"Stand together?" Ursa repeated with disbelief, "Sabine, it's everything I can do to keep the other Clans from destroying us because of what you did."
"Like I said at my trial, I didn't know the Empire would use the weapon I designed against our people including your cousins," Sabine reminded her, "But you probably still don't believe me."
"Even if I did, it wouldn't change all the other ruling houses from seeing you as a traitor as well as your sister for the two of you becoming Jedi. Your own brother now serves Gar Saxon to prove our loyalty and regain some small amount of status," Ursa told Sabine.
"Gar Saxon is a killer," Sabine argued.
"And a traitor to Mandalore," Satele added, agreeing with her sister, "He's just a sellout to the Mandalorian people for power and glory instead of honor."
"He's the Emperor's hand, the acting ruler and Governor of Mandalore," Tristan protested.
"And his men wiped out the Protectors," Sabine added.
"The Protectors were executed for treason, just as Fenn Rau will be when he is found," Ursa went on.
"They were loyal to Mandalore and Saxon betrayed them!" Satele argued.
"Enough!" Ursa yelled with anger in her voice as she stood up, "Fenn Rau's people are dead and mine are not. And I intend to keep them that way. All of them."
"Except for me and Satele," Sabine muttered.
"Satele, go catch up with your brother and Sabine, walk with me," Ursa told her daughters.
"Mother, Saxon will be contacting you later," Tristan told Ursa.
"And I will speak with him after I speak with Sabine alone," Ursa told Tristan as she and Sabine walked out of the room to the complex's balcony.
"What would you want to do, Tris?" Satele asked her brother.
"Anything you want to do, Satele," Tristan answered.
"Okay then, let's spar," Satele told him.
"I can do that," he said as they left the Throne room to the stronghold's dojo for some sparring practice.
"How could you align with the Empire?" Sabine asked her mother as they walked onto the complex's small balcony that was overlooking a frozen lake nearby, "After everything they've done to our people, after what they made me do and forced Father to leave Satele on Lothal with Mira and Ephiram Bridger."
"Do you think I didn't try to stop it and to keep Satele with us? There was nothing I could do, Sabine," Ursa told her, "Mandalore was on its knees before the Emperor. After he put Saxon in power, we had a choice. Side with him or Clan Wren would be destroyed and would use Satele against us if they found out about her affinity to the Force. Your father-"
"Me and Satele already know," Sabine said as she knew what her mother was about to say.
"You know?" Ursa said with surprise in her voice.
"Minister Tua mentioned it to Satele when she was defecting from the Empire before they had her assassinated to blame us and a few of our rebel friends for her assasination to turn the populous of Lothal against us," Sabine explained, "And when me and Satele met Gar Saxon on Concord Dawn's third moon, he confirmed that he had Father captive but didn't tell us where exactly."
"He's on Mandalore," Ursa told her, "But if Clan Wren acts against the Empire…"
"They'll kill him," Sabine realized, "Why didn't you try to find me and Satele?"
"Find you and Satele?" Ursa repeated with disbelief in her voice, "Sabine, after you left after your trial, it saved you, and the same goes for Satele after your father left her on Lothal with Mira and Ephiram Bridger. Don't you understand? Coming back here with Satele has put you both in danger. As much as holding that blade or any other lightsaber for that matter." She then crossed her arms, "Where did you get the Darksaber and the other lightsaber you had earlier?"
"I got the Darksaber from Maul," Sabine answered.
"You won it from him in combat?" Ursa said with surprise and disbelief in her voice.
"Uh, not exactly, I…" Sabine began to answer.
"Then you have no claim to it," Ursa said, dismissing her claim of the Darksaber as she lowered her arms.
"Well, I'm holding it. That's a pretty good claim," Sabine told her.
"Anyone can hold the Darksaber," Ursa stated, "The trick is keeping it, along with your head. How about the other lightsaber from earlier, where did you get it?"
"I constructed it myself," Sabine answered.
"You constructed it yourself?" Ursa said with surprise.
"I have the ability to use the Force like Satele does," Sabine explained, "Before Father sent Satele to Lothal, the two of you should have checked what our Midichlorian count was. Kanan and his girlfriend, Hera did when we were sleeping after we found that I could use the Force as well."
"And what was the midichlorian count that you and Satele had?" Ursa asked her.
"Satele has around 16,000 of them, while I have 15,000 of them," Sabine answered, "The amount that Satele has explains why she showed signs of Force-Sensitivity since she was 9 months old when you and Father saw her levitating a ball on her bed."
"You know about that?" Ursa said with surprise.
"Satele saw a Force Vision about it when she got her first Kyber crystal from a Jedi temple on Lothal and told me about it," Sabine answered.
"Anyway, do you even know how to wield two lightsabers?" Ursa asked her.
"You'd be surprised," Sabine answered.
"Always so immature, so selfish," Ursa told her.
"Yeah, and what about you?" Sabine countered, "Always putting power and politics before your own family."
"Everything I do is to protect my family, Sabine!" Ursa argued.
"Please! You do it for control," Sabine told her.
"And your father called me stubborn. Now I see it in you," Ursa said as she walked up to her and held her daughter's arm that was holding the Darksaber up.
"What do you see?" Sabine asked her.
"A warrior," Ursa answered, "Not the one I'd hoped, but still…"
"Well, I am your daughter," Sabine told her, "How could I be anything less?"
"Look, the rebels are planning something, and we need your help," Sabine sighed as she and Ursa leaned against the balcony before turning back to her mother, "It'd be the first real blow to the Empire and we can show the galaxy that they can be defeated."
"Please tell me these rebels are more than just a blind Jedi," Ursa said as she turned to her daughter.
"Our numbers are growing everyday," Sabine told her, "Mother, this could be the key to freeing Mandalore from Imperial control. I am not a traitor. Neither is Satele. We want to save mandalore, too, but it needs a strong leader. You have to trust me and Satele, just like I'm trusting you." She then extended her arm holding the Darksaber out towards her and took it from her.
"I'm going to contact Sundari, Sabine," Ursa told her, "You can hang out with your sister and brother if you want."
"I'll hang out with them," Sabine told her as she walked out of the balcony to the complex's dojo as unbeknownst to her, Rau was spying on her and Ursa from the forest in the distance as he removed his helmet from his head.
"Leave those and go," Ursa told the Mandalorian that was holding her daughters and Kanan's lightsabers as they entered the stronghold's communications center before the mandalorian placed the lightsabers on a table nearby before leaving the room to guard the doorway to the communications center as a hologram of Gar Saxon appeared in front of Ursa, while outside the stronghold, Rau was scanning the area outside the stronghold with his helmet's built-in rangefinder before he began to spy on Ursa's conversation with Gar Saxon with his helmet's built-in rangefinder, "My daughters have come home."
"What of their rebel friends?" Saxon asked her.
"They came with a Jedi," Ursa answered.
"You've done well, Ursa. Keep the Jedi there," Saxon told her.
"The Jedi is yours, but my daughters…" Ursa went on.
"Don't you worry, Countess. Clan Wren will be well taken care of," Saxon assured her as the holocommunicator switched off before she left the room.
"The Jedi Knight would like to speak with you," the Mandalorian that was guarding the doorway told Ursa as they walked down the corridor as Rau quietly hopped down from a ventilation shaft above and sneaked his way into the communications center and looked at the four lightsabers on the ledge next to him when the door behind him suddenly opened back up with the Mandalorian that was walking with Ursa standing in the doorway.
"Hey!" The Mandalorian that was with Ursa said as he pulled his WESTAR-35 out, only for Rau to grab him by the wrist, punching him in the helmet and twirled the Mandalorian forward before Rau grabbed all four lightsabers.
"You think you know my daughters better than me, Jedi?" Ursa asked with disbelief as she stared down at the blind Jedi.
"You don't know what it takes for Sabine or Satele to be here, you should listen to them," Kanan said with patience to try and make all this mess to work itself out.
"They're just children," Ursa stated.
"You seem to underestimate how your daughters have grown over the years, because while you cower here looking for safety under one of the Empire's lackeys' that being Governor Saxon of Mandalore, those twins have fought side by side trying their damndest to protect each other by sticking together and be there for each other since they reunited with each other three years ago," Kanan said, growling out nothing more than to protect the twins he viewed as his own.
"Well, it seems rather unfortunate that you have such strong ties to my daughters," Ursa said as he slightly nodded to the guards in the room, who in turn pulled out their WESTAR-35s, holding the Jedi Knight hostage.
Meanwhile in the dojo, Satele and Tristan were sparring with metal rods as the rods clashed with one another as Sabine was watching them as she stood in the corner of the room as Satele used the Force to leap backwards before charging at him with a loud grunt in her voice before he knocked her to the ground with his rod as he jumped towards her.
"It seems you know how to spar, Tris," Satele stated as she pulled her hand out towards him, only for him not to help her up as she got up herself, "Let me guess. You think Sabine is a traitor too and me now for becoming a Jedi along with Sabine."
"No," he answered as she kicked her rod up as she grabbed it before they clashed the rods against each other again, "But when Sabine left after her trial, the other clans turned their backs on us. We lost everything! Our power in the capital, our respect and our honor. If I can restore our family's name. If I can protect Father, then I have to try. Saxon promised!"
"Gar Saxon cannot be trusted!" Satele and Sabine both argued at the same time.
"Mother trusts him. Enough to trade the Jedi for the safety of you both," Tristan stated.
"Mother, what have you done?" Sabine and Satele both muttered to themselves as they heard the engines of a starship stopping outside the stronghold before Satele tossed her metal rod aside to the floor as they ran out of the room with Tristan following them.
As Sabine and Satele entered the Throne room, they saw their fellow Clan Wren Mandalorians in the room, aiming their WESTAR-35s at Kanan before they rushed towards him as they turned to their mother.
"You can't do this!" Sabine pleaded with Ursa.
"Yeah, don't do this, Mother," Satele said, agreeing with her sister.
"Yes, she can," Sabine and Sabine heard Saxon's voice say as they saw him enter the Throne room with four of his Imperial super commandos with his arms behind his back, "Because she is loyal. Just not to either of you." He then turned to Ursa, "I believe you have something else for me." Ursa looked at the Darksaber for a second before throwing it to him.
"No!" Sabine and Satele cried out with shock and disbelief as Sabine went to rush towards the Governor of Mandalore.
"Sabine!" Tristan said as he stopped her from doing something foolish as he grabbed her by the arm, "This is for the best."
"I've held my end of the bargain, Saxon. You have the Darksaber. Take the Jedi and let my daughters go," Ursa told Saxon.
"Your mother betrayed everything you both believe in to save the both of you. It's admirable…" Saxon stated, "Except she consorted with known traitors to do it."
"What are you talking about?" Ursa asked the governor with confusion.
"Why Countess, you are harboring rebels here. Clan Wren is clearly a threat to the Empire and must be made an example of," Saxon stated as his Imperial super commandos aimed their blaster rifles at the Clan Wren Mandalorians, who aimed their WESTAR-35s back at them in retaliation as Ursa stood up.
"Governor, wait! It doesn't have to be this way. We are all mandalorians," Tristan said, pleading for his family and Clan.
"I've been fair to you, Tristan, and you've served me well. I'll give you a choice. Stand with me, or die with your family," Saxon said before Tristan pulled out a WESTAR-35 and aimed it at both of his sisters, causing Ursa to lower her head as Saxon smirked.
"I choose family," Tristan said after a few seconds of silence as he turned around towards Saxon and aimed his WESTAR-35 at him.
"Then Clan Wren… ends here," Saxon said as he ignited the Darksaber's blade when Rau suddenly used his jetpack to fly through the Throne room's windows and took out Satele, Sabine and Kanan's lightsabers and threw them towards them before the three of them ignited their lightsabers as Kanan went into the combat stance known as Ataru along with Sabine as Satele held her lightsabers in a reverse grip.
"Took you long enough!" Kanan said, sarcastically as he and the twins began deflecting the Imperial super commandos' blaster bolts with their lightsabers.
"Rau!" Saxon shouted as he fired his WESTAR-35 at Rau.
"I've been busy," Rau explained as he pulled out both of his WESTAR-35s and began firing them at Saxon and his Imperial super commandos before two of the Clan Wren Mandalorians activated their jetpacks and they flew into the air as two of Saxon's imperial super commandos did the same.
"Remember, Sis, only blast the guys-" Sabine began to remind her twin sister.
"In white, I remember, Sis," Satele assured her as she continued to deflect the Imperial super commandos' blaster bolts with Kanan and her sister with her deflect one of the blaster bolts at one of the Imperial super commando's jetpacks, causing them to fall to the floor as Ursa was joining the battle as she hid behind the side of the Throne before firing her WESTAR-35s at one of the Imperial super commandos that were flying, causing them yell as they fell to the floor and as Ursa began to fire her WESTAR-35s at another Imperial super commando, Saxon looked at her with the corner of his eye as Sabine used her vambrace's repulsor at a few of the Imperial super commandos, causing them to fly across the room with one of them landing in front of the stronghold's entrance as they were knocked out before she turned around and saw that Saxon was slowly approaching her mother and used the Force to jump in front of her mother as he leaped towards Ursa as her lightsaber's blue blade clashed with the Darksaber's black blade.
"You will be taken back to Mandalore to finish what you started, the last living member of the Wren Clan," Saxon stated as Ursa looked at them before she used the Force to leap backwards as Ursa got of of the way before he activated his jetpack and flung out of the stronghold with her and landed on the snow outside as Tristan shot the last of the Imperial super commandos in the back, killing them instantly.
"Sabine!" Tristan said, calling out to Sabine as they all rushed out to the balcony.
Sabine's jetpack sparked with electricity as she got back on her feet as she still held her lightsaber in her hand when Saxon got back on his feet as well before he went to strike her down, only for her to evade the strike before he turned around and kicked her with his foot onto the ground and began to attack her with the Darksaber's blade as she evaded the Darksaber's blade before using the Force to leap backwards as she reignited her lightsaber and clashed the saber with the Darksaber, grunting in the process.
Meanwhile on the stronghold's balcony above, Satele, Rau, Tristan and Ursa watched the duel with Kanan behind them.
"Is somebody going to go help her?" Kanan asked as he sensed that nobody was helping Sabine.
"It's not that simple, Kanan," Satele told him.
"She's right," Ursa said, agreeing with her, "By Mandalorian custom and law, no one can interfere."
"Are your customs more important than the life of one of your daughters?' Kanan asked Ursa, causing her expression to change to one knowing that he had a point.
Back on the ground below, Sabine swung her saber at the Darksaber as they clashed together as she used the Force to leap backwards behind him as he activated his jetpack's thrusters and flew into the air as he fired his WESTAR-35 at her as he held the Darksaber in his other hand as the Governor of Mandalore did this, Sabine deactivated her lightsaber and ran across the snow as she activated her vambrace's personal shield to deflect his blaster bolts back at him as she used the Force to jump onto a boulder for a second before using the Force again to jump towards him as she activated her vambrace's flamethrower and fired it at him, causing him to fly backwards a bit, "Ah!" He then looked around for Sabine, only to see that she was missing, while unbeknownst to him, she ran behind him and launched a paralyzing dart at his jetpack from one of her vambraces, damaging the jetpack, causing him to start crashing down towards the ice covered lake below, sliding across it from Sabine, "I'm impressed. It seems your master has taught you well in lightsaber combat. But not enough to save you." He then reignited the Darksaber's blade as he got back on his feet.
"That's funny. I was about to say the same thing to you with your own Mandalorian training," Sabine joked as she reignited her lightsaber and went into the combat stance known as Soresu before they charged at each other, clashing both sabers against one another multiple times before ending in a saberlock as Sabine crouched down as the icy ground started cracking before she elbowed him, pushing him back a bit before they continued clashing their sabers against each other as the ice continued to crack beneath them and soon she slashed her saber against his hand, knocking the Darksaber out of his hand as he fell to his knees, panting as the Darksaber was flung into her right hand as she reignited it as she held both sabers at his neck, "Yield!"
"I'll never yield to you, girl," Saxon stated as everyone watched from the snow in front of the ice covered lake after getting down from the balcony, "You'll have to kill me."
"That might be the Mandalorian way, but it's not my way. Not anymore," Sabine told him as she deactivated both her lightsaber and the Darksaber and went back to the others but as she began walking towards them, Saxon stood up and pulled out his WESTAR-35, intending to shoot Sabine in the back with it, only for Satele and Ursa to pull one of their WESTAR-35s out and fired their blasters at Saxon, hitting him in the chest, Sabine heard this as she saw two blaster bolt holes in Saxon's armor, one at the area where his heart was and the other on the right side of his chest as he slumped dead onto the ice covered lake before she turned around and saw both her mother and sister holding their WESTAR-35s out as they began to approach her, "Mother."
"No one threatens our family," Ursa stated as she placed a hand over Sabine's armor's left Pauldron.
"Gar Saxon was guilty of treason against the throne, collaboration with our enemy, and the execution of my fellow Protectors," Rau said as he approached them, "But when the rest of Mandalore finds out about his death, there will be chaos."
"Perhaps Mandalore needs chaos if it's to become strong once again," Ursa stated as she turned to her daughters, "And so that we may find a leader worthy of our people. Satele, come with me I have something to give you."
"What is it that you want to give me, Mother?" Satele asked Ursa as they entered Ursa's office within the Wren stronghold.
"This, Satele," Ursa said as she pulled a Jedi holocron out from a drawer on her desk, "This has been passed down from your father's side of the family for generations, intended for you."
"How did his side of the family get a holocron?" Satele asked her.
"I think you already know, Satele," Ursa told her, "When you went to the Jedi temple on Lothal that Sabine told me about."
"So it was on Father's side of the family the reason why me, Sabine and Tristan have Jedi ancestors with one of them being Revan and the other being Satele Shan," Satele realized, "Why didn't you tell us this before Father left me with the Bridgers nor did you ever tell Sabine or Tristan?"
"Because it was the same thing your father's parents did to him before they died, Satele," Ursa explained as she handed the holocron to her, "And we believed that it was better for you, your sister and brother to not know, 'cause we didn't know how you three would react to being the descendants of one of our people's greatest enemies who defeated us in war."
"I don't think we would have cared, Mother," Satele told her, "All Mandalorians respect Revan or any other person who defeats us in combat. But I think we should rejoin the others."
"I suppose you're right, Satele," Ursa said as they left her office to rejoin Sabine, Tristan, Rau and Kanan outside the stronghold.
"What did Mother want to give you, Sis?" Sabine asked as she and Ursa approached her.
"This," Satele answered as she took out the holocron that their mother gave her.
"Is that a holocron?" Sabine asked as she saw the holocron.
"It is, Sis," Satele confirmed, "Mother said that it was always intended for me and has been passed down Father's side of our family for generations, which is where we get our Jedi ancestors like Revan from."
"Why would it be intended for you?" Sabine asked her.
"Mother said that it contains a recorded message that was intended for me, which I have a feeling that I know who from," Satele answered when they suddenly heard Chopper grunt with both of his metal arms out and was in the astromech socket as he landed the Phantom II in front of the Wren stronghold as Satele turned around and saw the shuttle as she approached him, "Sure, now you show up when all the fighting is over." He then grunted a response as she placed her hands over her hips.
"The Empire will come for you once they find out what's happened here," Kanan told Ursa as he turned towards her as Satele walked away from the shuttle and back towards her mother and sister, "The Rebellion can help."
"The same Rebellion that sent you for my help?" She asked as she approached him, "No. Mandalore must rise by itself. We protect our own."
"So do we," Kanan stated before turning to his Padawans, "Sabine? Satele?"
"She's right," Sabine told him.
"Yeah, we're staying, Kanan," Satele said, agreeing with her mother and sister.
"You're both not coming back?" Kanan said with shock.
"I'm done running away," Sabine explained, "Mother told me that the Empire is keeping our father captive on Mandalore. We'll find a way to get him back. And then… then maybe we can join the fight against the Empire. But right now, I can do more good here."
"Yeah, we'll find a way to get him back," Satele said, agreeing with her sister, "But if I have a Force vision of some kind that indicates trouble for Phoenix Squadron, I'll return as soon as possible and begin helping our clan via holo-communicator."
"I am so-" Kanan began to say as he approached both of his Padawans.
"Don't say that you're proud of us," Sabine told him.
"Me? Never!" He told them before Sabine gave him a hug before Satele did the same, "But I am going to miss the both of you."
"Thank you," Sabine told Kanan before he boarded the Phantom II, which took off with Sabine, Satele, Ursa, Tristan and Rau watching.
"You both did well today," Rau told Sabine and Satele, "All of Clan Wren saw who've you both become. Sabine, you could lead Mandalore and Satele, you could be her second-in-command."
"No. This was about our family," Sabine replied as she pulled the Darksaber out, "Neither of us are Mandalore's leader. But we'll find the person who is."
"Bo-Katan Kryze," Satele added, agreeing with her sister.
