Tessa slowly opened her eyes when she heard AJ and Cass laughing and giggling to themselves. She turned her head and saw the two of them playing with the shield and she knew that she'd have to say something to keep them from hurting themselves "Hey." Bucky said sleepily and Tessa turned to see him awake with his arm in the air.
"Oh crap!" one of the boys said as she heard them drop the shield.
"Put it back!" the other said and she turned to watch the two boys scramble to put the shield back before they ran off. She heard Bucky let out a sigh before he got off of the air mattress that Sarah had given them to sleep on before he got up and walked over to put the shield back in its bag.
"So how'd you sleep last night?" Tessa asked as she slowly stretched and got off of the bed, she folded up the blanket and pulled the plug on the bed to deflate it when Bucky walked up behind her.
"Great actually. I didn't wake up screaming from any nightmares, hell I didn't even have a nightmare. And I had the most beautiful woman sleeping beside me most of the night." He said as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.
"Most of the night?" she asked with a laugh.
"You've got a tiny bladder sweetheart. I think I counted three trips to the bathroom in less than an hour at one point." Bucky said before jumping away from her hand.
"Shut up. You act like you didn't get up a few times last night to go to the bathroom." She said.
"Okay you two if you're going to do something then go get a hotel room don't do it here." Sam said as he walked into the room. Tessa stuck her tongue out at him before giving Bucky a quick kiss on the cheek and moving towards the kitchen "Where do you think you're going?" Sam asked and she stopped before turning to them.
"I was going to make breakfast." She said as she pointed towards the stove.
"Nope. You're a guest and guests don't cook while they're here." Sam said as he pushed her out of the kitchen. Before she could argue the point anymore Sam had pulled out several pans and set to work on making breakfast for everyone.
"Sam there's more than just Bucky and I coming down to help with the boat." Tessa said as she tried to get back into the kitchen.
"I know. I prepared well ahead of time because Jess warned me. I went out and bought enough for me to make breakfast for everyone." Sam said as he waved her away again. And true to his word Tessa watched as he prepared breakfast for everyone. The first ones to show up were Tony, Pepper and Peter who each took their plates with a thanks before they went and sat down at the table, Steve and Natasha showed up next and everyone let out a laugh when Nat pointed out that this was the second time that Sam had fed them out of the blue. Bruce and Thor showed up with some of the citizens of New Asgard along with the Guardians who each took a plate, Peter and Nebula did their best to explain what the different things on their plate were to Drax and Mantis who sniffed the bacon Sam had given them before taking a bit and exclaiming that it was the best stuff they had ever had. Jess and Opal showed up around the same time that Clint did with his family, all of them grabbed a plate and found somewhere to sit when Sam finally grabbed a plate for himself and sat in-between Sarah and Cass who had grabbed their food when Bruce and Thor arrived.
Everyone sat together and talked for about an hour before everyone cleaned their plates up at the sink and headed down towards the dock to work with the rest of Delacroix to finish fixing up the boat. Bucky reached over and grabbed a hold of Tessa's right hand before bringing it up and giving her knuckles a kiss with a smile before he pulled on her to get her to walk a bit faster before they were running at a good pace "First one to the boat gets to drive it when it's started up!" he called out making sure Sam heard him.
"Oh no you don't!" Sam shouted before chasing after them with Jess close on his heels.
"If anyone gets to drive that boat first it's me!" she called out with a laugh. Tony looked at Pepper with a raised eyebrow.
"Are we sure that Barnes is 106 years old?" he asked and Pepper nudged him with her elbow.
"Jealous that he's much older than you and he can out run you?" she asked.
"Out run me? Oh we'll see about that." He said before taking off at a slower pace. Everyone laughed when he tripped over his own two feet and rolling down the hill a bit before he stopped and just laid down on the ground.
