"You know they already left to get the Hyperdrive," Hera said, approaching Kanan, who was sitting on the ground near Ryder's camp with his legs folded as he was meditating with his mask over his eyes, "Figured you'd go."
"I wanted to stay," he explained before chuckling a bit, "It's funny, no matter what happens, we always end up back either here on Lothal or Garel."
"Well, Satele has a strong connection to this place, stronger than her connection with her, Sabine and Janus' home world of Mandalore and the same goes with Sabine and Garel, where we met her after she was betrayed by Ketsu," Hera said as she sat next to him after placing her right hand over his left shoulder for a second, "Satele lived on this planet for 11 years after all after her and Sabine's father left her here when they were both five years old."
"Before we knew the twins we were drawn to Lothal and Garel," Kanan stated.
"The mission was here and at times Garel, especially when we used that planet to hide from the Empire before they found us," Hera told him.
"There were a lot of missions in a lot of places, but we kept coming back here more so than Garel," Kanan explained.
"Are you saying we were meant to come to Garel as well as here?" She asked him, "Maybe to meet Sabine and Satele?"
"I don't know, something like that, but also to have them reunite after not seeing each other for 11 years," Kanan answered, "But there's more to it. I'm just not sure what?"
"We have recovered your prototype, Grand Admiral, but its data recorder and Hyperdrive are gone," Pryce said as she spoke to Thrawn with a holocommunicator in her hand as she walked around the area of the crash site of the TIE Defender Elite as a stormtrooper was transporting a container with the Imperial insignia on it, an Imperial troop transport stationed in the background behind her and an Imperial probe droid flying area, speaking Imperial as she wore an Imperial officer battle armor over her Imperial officer uniform with a helmet that was nearly identical to that of an AT-ST driver over her head.
"The rebels will attempt to deliver the recorder to rebel command in hopes of studying the TIE Defender design in hopes for a weakness," Thrawn told her.
"The Hyperdrive is too cumbersome for the rebels to have carried it far on foot," Pryce stated, "They must have hidden it in the area."
Which is why I've dispatched assistance to your aid," Thrawn informed her.
"Uh, I do not require assistance," Pryce protested.
"The return of these rebels to Lothal and the theft of my ship are two recent lapses proving otherwise," Thrawn said, disagreeing with her, "My agent, Rukh, will arrive shortly." She then deactivated the holocommunicator and walked forward as she began to await the arrival of Rukh.
"Hurry up!" Satele said as she flipped up her scout trooper armor's helmet as she was wearing her scout trooper armor with Jai wearing his own scout trooper armor and helmet as well as they walked through the area near where she, Sabine and Janus hid the TIE Defender Elite's Hyperdrive.
"Where's the Hyperdrive?" Zeb asked from below the cliff next to a speeder bike that had a loading dolly attached to it with Janus standing next to him.
"Over here somewhere," Satele answered, pointing at the rocks on the cliff above Zeb and her boyfriend before turning to Jai, "Jai, keep watch." Jai then flipped his scout trooper's helmet up.
"Over here somewhere? All these rocks look the same," Zeb said with disbelief as Janus walked towards him as Satele walked down the cliff towards them.
"It was dark, and we just crashed. We didn't have time to make a map," Janus explained when they suddenly heard a loth-cat meowing and looked up to see the white loth-cat standing on top of a boulder as they realized that was where they along with Sabine hid the Hyperdrive, "So you and Sabine weren't imagining things about a white loth-cat."
"Why would we imagine seeing a white loth-cat, Jan'ika?" Satele asked him before turning to Zeb, "Hey, when in doubt, follow the loth-cat."
"You're kidding, right?" Zeb asked Satele as they along with Janus approached the boulder as the loth-cat hopped off of the boulder and flipped it over to reveal the Hyperdrive, "Satele, you and your loth-cats." Unbeknownst to them and behind the cliff, an Imperial patrol transport flew past them, which Satele, Janus and Zeb heard before looking up as it flew towards the crash site of the TIE Defender Elite.
The Imperial patrol transport soon landed at the crash site of the TIE Defender Elite near Pryce as its door slid open with half of it sliding upwards and the other half downwards as it formed a couple of steps as she placed both of her arms behind her back approached the ship with a stormtrooper as she saw a male Noghri standing inside the ship, a humanoid species with gray skin, a row of horns on their heads and could run on all four of their limbs and are known for their combat and assasination skills and keen sense of smell with this one having an electrostaff on their back as well as blue eyes.
"As you must know, I'm Governor Pryce," Pryce said, introducing herself to the Noghri as he exited the transport, sniffing around as he walked past them, "I assume you are Thrawn's assassin, Rukh."
"I smell them," Rukh stated as he walked past Pryce and the stormtrooper as he continued to sniff around the crash site.
"You smell what?" Pryce asked him.
"I smell Lasat, Lothalite and two Mandalorians," Rukh answered after sniffing again as he stared out at the area where Satele, Janus, Zeb and Jai were at, "And one of the Mandalorians having Jedi ancestors with three of them being Revan, Satele Shan and and the third one being the first Mandalorian to ever become a Jedi, Tarre Vizsla." He then rushed forward as he began running on all of his four limbs towards where he sensed the rebels were.
"Uh, Satele," Jai said, calling out to Satele as he was using a pair of electrobinoculars as he saw Rukh running towards them as she, Janus and Zeb were carrying the TIE Defender Elite's Hyperdrive as they took it out from where both Mandalorians along with Sabine hid it, "We have a problem."
"What is that?" Satele asked as she walked up next to Jai and saw the same time that he was seeing.
"I don't know, and I don't want to know," Jai answered.
"We'll draw them away," Satele told Jai as she flipped her scout trooper's helmet down before walking over to Janus and Zeb, "Jan'ika, you and Zeb get the Hyperdrive out of here." Jai then flipped down his scout trooper's helmet as he followed her, while Janus and Zeb ran towards the speeder bikes as they went in separate directions.
"Just let me blast it," Jai pleaded with Satele as they walked towards Rukh.
"It's okay. I can get us out of this," Satele told him before she approached Rukh, "ST-4734 and ST-1127 reporting." Rukh sniffed around including her scout trooper armor as she said that, "We've checked out this area and found nothing. Should we continue our search?"
"No," Rukh answered as he turned around before turning back around towards her and went to punch her, only for her to dodge his attacks as the Noghri knew they were the rebels and soon hopped onto her neck before knocking her forward onto the ground as Jai began firing his scout trooper's blaster pistol at the Noghri as he saw this as he evaded the Lothalite's blaster bolts.
"Don't shoot me! Shoot him!" Satele told Jai as she flipped the visor of her scout trooper's helmet back up as she turned around on her stomach, "Blast it!"
"I'm trying! I'm trying!" Jai yelled as he fired his scout trooper's blaster pistol at Rukh as he ran towards him on all four of his limbs before he was pushed towards a Lothalian mound-like structure behind him as Satele extended both of her arms as she used the Force to push him.
"Mandalorian Jedi," Rukh stated as an Imperial troop transport and two speeder bikes with scout troopers riding the speeder bikes approached them with Pryce on board the Imperial troop transport and exited the Imperial troop transport along with a couple of stormtroopers as the scout troopers that were riding the speeder bikes hopped off of the speeder bikes.
"It's one of the Wren twins," Pryce said as she recognized Satele as she took out her blaster pistol from her tunic's holster, "Blast her."
Satele instantly grabbed her lightsaber with the blue blade and ignited it as Pryce fired her blaster pistol at her as the Mandalorian began to use it to deflect the Governor's blaster bolts as Jai hopped onto a speeder bike behind them before Satele sat on the back seat of the speeder bike as Rukh went to strike her as he followed her, only for the speeder bike to take off before he got a chance to attack them.
"The Lasat and the other Mandalorian are still close. Find them!" Rukh told Pryce as he hopped on a speeder bike of his own before taking off as he went to follow Jai and Satele.
"Are they following us?" Jai asked Satele as he flipped the visor of his scout trooper's helmet back up.
"What do you think? She answered.
"Governor, over here," a stormtrooper called out to Pryce as he stood in front of a sabotaged speeder bike that had a loading dolly attached to it and Pryce walked towards him as unbeknownst to them, Janus and Zeb were hiding above them on a Lothalian mound-like structure watching them as Zeb held the Hyperdrive in his left arm as he turned to see an unguarded Imperial troop transport.
"The Lasat and the other Mandalorian are here somewhere," Pryce stated as she stood in front of the loading dolly next to the stormtrooper, "Spread out! I'll summon the patrol."
Janus and Zeb quietly jumped off of the Lothalian mound-like structure as she said that and approached the Imperial troop transport and saw that there was an Imperial combat driver sitting in the pilot's seat of the Imperial troop transport.
"Hey," Janus called out to the combat driver as he pulled out one of his WESTAR-35s from one of his armor's holsters and aimed it at him.
"Huh?" The combat driver said as he noticed both the Mandalorian and Lasat before Janus fired a stun blast at him from his WESTAR-35 after switching it from lethal to its stun setting before Zeb grabbed the combat driver and threw him out as they entered the Imperial troop transport and began to drive the Imperial troop transport towards Pryce and the stormtrooper, which they both dodged as the Imperial troop transport drove past them.
"Specter-4 to Specter-2," Zeb said as he took out his comlink, "Me and Specter-7 have both acquired the Hyperdrive."
"Good work, Specter-4. You too, Specter-7," Hera told them from Zeb's comlink, "What about Specter-6?"
"Oh, I'm sure she'll be along," Janus assured her as he spoke into his wrist's communicator, "Besides, Sabine said that they'll both install the Hyperdrive together."
"How many of them are back there?" Jai asked Satele as he continued to pilot the speeder bike as he had the visor of his scout trooper's helmet flipped back down as they were being chased by Rukh and two scout troopers on their own speeder bikes.
"More than enough," Satele answered after looking behind them for a second and saw that the Imperials were still chasing them before pointing at a canyon in the distance, "Let's try to lose them in there!" With that said, Jai flew the speeder bike into the canyon with the scout troopers and Rukh as the Noghri grabbed his electrostaff from his back and activated it as he swung it at Satele, who grabbed her lightsaber with the blue blade and ignited it, blocking his attack with it, "Can't this thing go faster?"
"Hold him there. Just hold him there," Jai told her as Satele soon separated her lightsaber with the blue blade away from Rukh as he and Jai went into two separate pathways as as this was happening, Rukh aimed a wrist mounted device on his wrist at the back of the speeder bike that Jai and Satele were riding before firing a tracking device at the speeder bike as it attached to the back of the bike with both the Mandalorian and Lothalite not even noticing.
As the tracker activated, Rukh and the scout troopers appeared behind both Satele and Jai before the scout troopers began to fire their speeders' laser cannons at them, only for the rebels to evade the lasers as they soon entered a maze as Jai swooped around Lothalian mound-like structures.
"Up ahead! Go through there!" Satele ordered Jai, pointing at an area in front of them as she reached for one of her thermal detonators from one of her armor's bags and activated its timer and flung it onto a partially collapsed Lothalian mound-like structure as they flew underneath it before the thermal detonator exploded as soon as a scout trooper approached it, killing him and destroying his speeder bike instantly.
The other scout trooper stopped his speeder bike as he reached the destroyed Lothalian mound-like structure, caused by Satele, but Rukh didn't stop his speeder bike as he flew up and over the destroyed Lothalian mound-like structure with his speeder bike.
On the other side of the destroyed Lothalian mound-like structure, Satele saw Rukh fly towards her and Jai as the Lothalite stopped the speeder bike they were riding as Satele pulled out a scout trooper's blaster pistol and began firing it at the Noghri, but instead of the blaster bolts hitting him, they instead hit the speeder bike, snapping it in half as Rukh jumped off of the speeder bike and grabbed onto a Lothalian mound-like structure next to him as Satele gave him a salute as Jai powered the speeder bike back up as they went to leave the area as Rukh just glared at them with anger.
"Zeb should be here soon with Janus," Hera told Sabine as they stood in front of a container on opposite sides with the data recorder on top of the container as she held a data pad in her hands, "You ready?"
"Not without Satele I will," Sabine answered as she took the datapad from Hera, "But once she gets here, we should just be able to just drop the Hyperdrive in and run power to it."
"This ship is old," Kanan told Hera as he approached her with his mask removed from his eyes as Sabine walked away, "There's no guarantee the Defender's Hyperdrive will even work in this thing, never mind the Imperial blockade."
"Getting this TIE Defender data to the rebellion is vital," Hera stated as he crossed his arms.
"When are you going to feel you've done enough for this rebellion?" He asked her as he lowered his arms and placed his right hand on top of the data recorder.
"I guess the Empire is overthrown and people are free to live their lives the way they want again," she answered as she placed her right hand over her hip.
"And when that time comes, how do you want to live your life?" He asked her.
"Huh. I don't know," she answered, "Guess I never really thought about it."
"So I guess you never really thought about us," he told her.
"Kanan, we've talked about that before," she responded as she crossed her arms.
"Have we?" He asked her as he began flirting with her and grabbed her with her left hand.
"You know how I feel," she answered as she looked up at him.
"Do I?" He asked her as he continued to flirt with her before they leaned in to kiss each other.
"Hey, excuse me!" Ryder called out to Kanan and Hera, interrupting them as they were about to kiss as he held a blaster rifle in his arms, "We've got incoming!"
Ryder placed his blaster rifle on a container, aiming it at an Imperial troop transport that was approaching them as Hera stood beside him, pulling her blaster pistol out and aimed it at the Imperial troop transport as it turned around and stopped as its doors opened.
"Look what we got," they heard Zeb say as he appeared from the Imperial troop transport's door with Janus as Ryder fired a blaster bolt as them, only for both the Lasat and Mandalorian to evade the blaster bolt as it hit the top of the Imperial troop transport.
"Did we forget to mention that we stole the transport?" Janus asked as he removed his helmet and placed it under his arm as both he and Zeb chuckled.
Just then, Jai's speeder bike arrived at the camp as Kanan approached Jai and Satele, "Good job. Looks like our Hyperdrive problem is solved."
"Yeah, well, you know how one problem usually leads to another?" Satele asked as she and Jai got up from the speeder bike.
"Yeah…" Kanan began to answer as he crossed his arms.
"We have another," she explained as she and Jai walked forward, "And it's small, creepy and very dangerous."
"Governor, I've located the rebel camp," Rukh said as he contacted Pryce with his wrist's communicator after sniffing as he looked in the distance as he tracked the tracking device that he launched onto the back of the rebels' speeder bike, "Transmitting coordinates."
Later on back at the rebel camp, Satele, who had removed her scout trooper armor and placed her Beskar plates back over her undersuit as she stood with her sister and Chopper on top of Ryder's U-wing as they were wielding the Hyperdrive into the ship.
"Wasn't easy, but we patched it," Sabine said as she walked away from the Hyperdrive, Satele and Chopper with a datapad in her right hand, "Still, I give it a 50-50 chance of working."
"I'll have to live with 50-50," Hera stated as Janus followed her before he heard engines in the distance and placed his helmet back over his head and flipped his helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder down.
"Oh, no," Janus muttered as he saw two scout troopers riding two speeder bikes and two Imperial TX-225 GAVr 'occupier' combat assault tanks coming towards them with both Governor Pryce and Rukh standing on top of one of the TX-225 GAVr 'occupier' assault tanks before turning to the others, "We're out of time!"
"I could've dealt with these rebels myself, Governor," Rukh told Pryce, who had her arms crossed.
"The Mandalorian Jedi escaped you once, assassin," Pryce reminded him as she lowered her arms and placed her right hand over her hip for a second, "Besides, where will they go?"
"Courtesy of the Lasat and the other Mandalorian, who escaped you, they now have a Hyperdrive and can go anywhere," Rukh retorted.
"Even if they get airborne, they'll never make it out of the system," Pryce assured him as she placed both of her arms behind her back.
"We'll hold off the Empire till you're clear," Ryder told Jai, who was out of his scout trooper disguise and was sitting in the pilot's seat of a landspeeder with crates on the back of the landspeeder that Zeb placed on the landspeeder before he placed one in the seat next to Jai, "We'll signal a rendezvous coordinates later."
"And if we don't hear from you?" Jai asked the former Lothalite governor.
"You will," Satele assured Jai as she held her helmet under her arm.
"All right, Wren. Good luck," Jai told her before flying away in the landspeeder.
"Neither me nor Satele got a chance to double-check navicomputer sync, but we…" Sabine began to tell Hera as she walked with her next to the U-wing as the Twi'lek held the TIE Defender Elite's data recorder under her arm as Kanan stood within the U-wing's cargo hold behind them, leaning against one of the walls as he had his arms crossed.
"Sabine, I trust your and Satele's work," Hera assured her as she placed her right hand over the left pauldron of Sabine's armor.
"Good luck," Sabine told her before walking away.
"Hera, about what happened. I don't want you to think," Kanan sighed as he walked off of the U-wing's cargo hold, "I just…" she then pulled him in for a kiss as the twins along with Janus had their helmets over their heads with their WESTAR-35s in their hands as they hid behind and around box shaped containers with Zeb, who held his bo-rifle in his arms and aimed it forward at the Imperials with Ryder doing the same with his own blaster rifle as Sabine saw Hera and Kanan kissing passionately.
"Zeb, Janus, Sis," Sabine said, calling out the names of Zeb, Janus and her sister as they turned around as they all smiled with the three Mandalorians smiling under their helmets as they all saw Kanan and Hera kissing.
"May the Force be with you," Hera told Kanan as she walked away from him after they stopped kissing each other and entered the doorway to the U-wing's cargo hold before it closed as Hera rushed into the cockpit of the U-wing with Chopper as she climbed up into the pilot's seat as the astromech plugged his scomp link into the ship's astromech port, activating the ship's engines before it lifted off of the ground as it began to leave the planet's atmosphere.
"Alert Admiral Thrawn of that rebel ship," Pryce said into her comlink as she and Rukh saw the U-wing fly up into the atmosphere as it left the planet.
Chopper grunted to Hera as the U-wing flew past a spherical construction shaped module above Lothal's atmosphere as they left the planet, "I'm not worried about the TIE fighters. I'm worried about getting torn to pieces by those Star Destroyers." TIE fighters then began to fire their laser cannons as they began to chase the U-wing as she said that, while one of the Star Destroyers began to fire at the U-wing with one of its turbolasers as she evaded the lasers from one of the Star Destroyers' turbolasers.
"We won't last long against those tanks," Zeb stated as the speeder bikes and TX-225 GAVr 'occupier' combat assault tanks began firing at him and the other rebels as they hid behind box shaped containers as Kanan was also holding his DL-18 blaster pistol in his hand and had his mask back over his eyes.
"We have that transport and a bike," Ryder stated as he looked at the Imperial troop transport that Zeb stole and the speeder bike that Satele and Jai rode on earlier, only for one of the TX-225 GAVr 'occupier' combat assault tanks to fire one of its laser cannons at the Imperial troop transport, destroying it instantly.
"How many can we get on a bike?" Zeb asked him.
"We're out of options!" Ryder stated when both Satele and Sabine suddenly heard a howling sound in the distance and stood up as they saw Loth-wolves in the distance and saw one of them looking at them as a few of the other Loth-wolves ran past Lothalian mound-like structures.
"There! That's our way out," Satele said, pointing at the Loth-wolf.
"Loth-wolves?" Ryder stated with disbelief as he turned around and saw the same Loth-wolf that Satele and Sabine saw.
"The wolves are helping us. I never heard of wolves helping people," Janus told them.
"Look, they helped us before," Sabine explained to them, "We should do as Satele says and follow them."
"Are you three serious?" Ryder asked them with disbelief.
"Do you know the way out?" Satele asked the Loth-wolf as she turned to the wolf, whose response was running ahead before she went to follow the wolf, "Come on."
"Kanan?" Zeb said with surprise as the blind Jedi Knight went to follow the three Mandalorians and the wolves.
"Seems like the best idea we've got," Kanan explained as he followed the three Mandalorians, "Let's go."
"This is good. When it gets strange like this, it's a good thing," Zeb told Ryder as he placed his left hand over Ryder's right shoulder.
"How have you people stayed alive for so long?" Ryder asked him as he placed his hat back over his head before he and Zeb began to follow the others.
Soon the TX-225 GAVr 'occupier' combat assault tank that Pryce and Rukh were on top of arrived at the spot where the rebels were hiding before they decided to follow the Loth-wolves as the tank knocked the box shaped containers that the rebels were hiding behind earlier to the ground as Rukh leaped off of the tank and onto the ground and began sniffing the area before turning back to Pryce with the corner of his eye, "The rebels have gone deeper into the rocks."
"Then they have trapped themselves," Pryce stated as she climbed down from the tank and began to approach him.
"Perhaps. But they are not alone," Rukh added, "I'll hunt them down."
"You had your chance. We're going to finish them my way," she told him as she took out her comlink and activated it, "Get me air support."
"There! That's what we're looking for!" Hera stated as she evaded the TIE fighters that continued to chase and fire at her as she piloted the U-wing and stared at one of the spherical construction shaped modules, "Heading for point 7-6. Calculate the jump, Chop!" Chopper then grunted a response as he plugged his scomp link back into the astromech port.
"She's headed into the construction spheres. She'll be trapped," one of the Imperial officers on Thrawn's Star Destroyer, the Chimaera reported to the Chiss Grand Admiral, who was standing in front of a holotable on his Star Destroyer's bridge.
Hera soon entered the hangar bay of the spherical construction shaped module that she was heading for, just as the U-wing jumped into Hyperspace, destroying everything within the construction module's hangar, which included the stormtroopers, TIE fighters, Imperial patrol transports and AT-DPs that were stationed inside the construction module as she entered Hyperspace.
"Sir, I regret to report that Captain Syndulla has escaped," the same Imperial officer reported to Thrawn after seeing the U-wing that Hera was piloting jump to Hyperspace through the construction module that she destroyed.
"Satele, Sabine wait up!" Zeb called out to the twins as he and the others continued to follow them and the Loth-wolves through the Lothalian mound-like structures.
"Teal'ika!" Janus said, calling out to his girlfriend as they continued to follow her and Sabine.
"We don't want to lose them, Jan'ika," Satele told him before she continued to follow the wolves, "Come on!" They soon stopped at a location where three Loth-wolves were laying down at with one of them the white one that Satele, Sabine and Janus encountered yesterday as they began snarling at them and soon the others caught up to them as they stopped them as they placed their arms in front of them, "Hold it. Stay back."
"Do as Satele says, guys, stay back," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.
"Why have they stopped?" Kanan asked as he walked up to them as he sensed that the Loth-wolves had stopped moving.
"I don't know," Satele answered before she began to walk towards the Loth-wolves.
"Satele, stay back!" Kanan warned Satele as he sensed that she was slowly walking towards the white Loth-wolf.
"Sis, do as Kanan says and stay back," Sabine said, agreeing with their master.
"There's a way out. Isn't there?" Satele asked the white Loth-wolf as she continued to approach the wolf, who growled softly, "You wanted us to follow you. Didn't you?"
"This is bomber LS-21, approaching your position," a female TIE pilot announced from Pryce's comlink, "What is our primary target?"
"Just turn those mountains into dust," Pryce answered as she pointed at the Lothalian mound-like structures that Satele and the other rebels fled towards.
"Copy that, command. Commencing bombing run," LS-21 responded as she flew her TIE bomber towards the Lothalian mound-like structures as another TIE bomber pilot did the same with their TIE bomber.
"What are you waiting for?" Satele, who now had her helmet removed and under her arm as did her sister and boyfriend asked the white Loth-wolf, who snuffled softly as it stared at her and Sabine's master, which both she and Sabine noticed as it turned around towards him, "Kanan? Kanan, it's looking…"
"At me?" Kanan finished for her, "I know."
"Why is it looking at you, Kanan," Sabine asked him as he began to approach the Loth-wolf.
"I'm not sure, Sabine," Kanan answered her as he stopped walking as he reached Satele, "What does it want?"
"I guess they were waiting for us," she answered as the wolves stood up as they began to enter a cave that was behind them and with that, Satele began leading them into the cave with her left arm extended out towards the wolves and as she did this, her sister took out her flashlight and activated it as she aimed it at cave paintings that she noticed inside the cave.
"There are images here of people," Sabine said as she moved the light of her flashlight around the wall and saw images of humanoid figures following a wolf, "People following a wolf."
"So I guess we're not the first ones," Zeb realized before they continued to follow Satele.
"And that the wolves actually did help people before," Janus added as he continued to follow his girlfriend.
"Hold on. Shut your light off, Sis," Satele ordered her twin sister as she moved her arms in front of Kanan and Sabine before they did what she told them.
"What now, Satele?" Kanan asked her as the wolves snarled across from them.
"I'm not sure," she answered.
"There wasn't a picture of wolves eating those people, was there?" Zeb asked when they suddenly heard a muffled explosion coming from outside as well as a rumbling sound, causing the wolves to growl.
"The Empire's bombing the mountains!" Ryder stated as outside of the cave, the TIE bombers were dropping proton bombs onto the Lothalian mound-like structures below.
"We've gotta get out of here," Satele told them as the white Loth-wolf stood up as it offered her it's tail, surprising her before grabbing it as she turned to her master and sister, boyfriend and the others, "Everyone, join hands."
"Teal'ika…" Janus began to say, unsure if they should grab onto the white Loth-wolf's tail despite it helping them yesterday as Sabine grabbed her sister's hand.
"Just do it, Janus!" Satele ordered her boyfriend as Sabine grabbed his hand before he grabbed Zeb's hand.
"The cave is going to collapse!" Zeb announced as he grabbed Ryder's hand.
"There's no way out of here," Ryder stated as he grabbed Kanan's hand.
"That we know of," Kanan argued.
"Kanan's right, Ryder. There probably is a way out of here that we don't know about," Sabine said, agreeing with her and Satele's master and soon a bright blue colored light began to appear as they slowly entered a tunnel as they unknowingly entered a mysterious realm known as the World Between Worlds.
The rebels laid on the ground of Lothal inside of another cave, unconscious as the white Loth-cat stood between them as it meowed and purred as it walked up to Satele and began licking her face before walking away as she opened her eyes and stood back up as everyone else did the same as they all regained consciousness as she stared at the white Loth-wolf, which growled softly.
"Huh! Where in blazes are we?" Zeb asked everyone.
"Let's find out," Satele replied as she walked out of the cave with Zeb, her sister, boyfriend and Ryder accompanying her with two of the Loth-wolves snarling at them as they exited the cave, towering over them.
"Uh, Sis, Janus… You both are not going to believe this," Sabine told her sister and Janus as Satele stared out at the untouched plains in the distance as she held a datapad in her hand, "We were in the northern hemisphere. Now we're in the southern hemisphere. Somehow, we've moved halfway across the planet."
"I'm not gonna even ask how we got here," Ryder muttered.
"I think I know how we got here," Janus told them, "The Force."
"Girls, did you both know the wolves could do that?" Zeb asked the twins.
"No, we didn't," Satele answered as the two wolves walked back into the cave behind them before she, Sabine and Janus followed them back into the cave as they saw their master standing in front of the white Loth-wolf, "Kanan."
"Look around, girls. Tell me what you both see," Kanan requested Sabine and Satele.
"This place reminds me of the Jedi temple here on Lothal," Satele answered as she and Sabine walked up next to him as they began to stare at the cave painting on the walls, "The walls are telling a story. There are people coming down from the sky. I think they might be Jedi."
"I was thinking the same thing, Sis," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister.
"There's a message for us," Kanan told them.
"Because you're a Jedi, while we're Mandalorian ones?" Satele asked him.
"Dume," the white Loth-wolf said, surprising Kanan.
"How does the wolf know the name you were born with, Kanan?" Sabine asked him.
"How do you know that Caleb Dume is the name I was born with, Sabine?" He asked her as he removed his mask from his eyes.
"Satele told me yesterday after we got back to camp with the data recorder," Sabine explained as Kanan placed his right hand over the white Loth-wolf's forehead.
"As for how the wolf knows the name I was born with is because it has a deep connection to the Force, to the energy of this planet," Kanan told them.
"Don't all living things?" Satele asked him with confusion.
"This is different, Satele. More focused, like it has a purpose," he answered.
"And we're part of it," she realized.
"I'm getting a feeling building the TIE Defender isn't the worst thing the Empire's doing here. There's something else here," he told her as he turned back around and looked at them as he removed his hand from the white Loth-wolf's forehead, "Something more sinister."
"Dume," the white Loth-wolf said again as it walked backwards and phased through the wall as Satele walked up to Janus.
"Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, Jan'ika," Satele told her boyfriend in Mando'a.
"Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, Teal'ika," Janus replied in Mando'a as well before they began kissing each other passionately.
"So, all the paths are coming together, right?" Sabine asked Kanan as he placed his right hand over his hip.
"Yeah," he confirmed, "I'm just not sure if we're going to like where they lead."
"Do we ever?" Sabine asked him.
"No," he answered as he scoffed, "And yes."
"I wonder if Hera made it out," Sabine said as she looked at her sister and Janus kissing with the corner of her eye.
"I know she did," Kanan assured her.
Meanwhile on Yavin IV, the U-wing that Hera piloted landed near the Ghost at the Great Temple on a landing pad with Mon Mothma and Erskin walking towards the U-wing with Lux and Kalani standing behind Mon Mothma and Erskin as Hera walked out of the U-wing holding the data recorder from the TIE Defender Elite in her hands as Chopper rolled up next to her before she handed the data recorder to the senator before they both smirked at one another.
