The next day on Lothal, the Lothal resistance group, which consisted of Ryder Azadi, Jai Kell, a few rebels and the Ghost crew, except for Hera who was currently off world on Yavin IV were in a cliff dwelling area near the cave where they found themselves after following the Loth-wolves as Sabine and Satele were on their knees in front of a radio transmitter and working on it as their master and Janus approached them.
"This transmitter is all we could scrounge up," Janus told his girlfriend and her sister as he placed his right hand over his hip as Kanan crossed his arms, "What do you both think?"
"Well, we can boost the power, but not enough to overcome the jamming signal," Sabine answered, "They're blocking all non-Imperial transmissions."
"We have to find a way to make contact with Hera," Kanan stated.
"If she made it past the blockade," Ryder told them as he approached them with Zeb as he crossed his arms.
"She made it," Kanan assured him, "And she'll convince rebel command to launch an attack. We need to be ready to help."
"Help?" Ryder repeated with confusion, "Look, I want to fight, but the Empire's got thousands of troops. We are hiding in a cave with no ships, no supplies, and a couple of blasters."
"We've done a lot more with a lot less before when me and Sabine along with our mother and Bo-Katan formed the Mandalorian resistance a few months ago," Satele recalled, "There's a way, and we'll find it."
"She's right," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend, "We'll find a way."
Just then, the transmitter started squealing, causing Zeb to walk up next to Ryder, "What now?"
"We can't make contact outside the planet, but we're picking up something transmitting nearby," Sabine answered.
"How close?" Kanan asked her.
"Close enough to take a look," Satele answered.
"Better check it out," Ryder suggested as they walked out of the cave.
"There. It's an ore crawler," Ryder said as he and the specters got on their stomachs after traveling through the plains of Lothal on a landspeeder with all three Mandalorians having their helmets over their heads and their jetpacks over their backs before they flipped their helmets' macrobinocular viewplates' rangefinders.
"I think I saw some of those burning the grasslands up north," Satele told the former governor of Lothal, recalling seeing them when Vizago smuggled them along with Hera and Chopper onto Lothal.
"I remember seeing them as well, Teal'ika," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend.
"Yeah," Ryder told them, confirming their suspicions, "They rake the surface for raw materials to feed the Imperial factory."
"And they've burned all the way down here?" Satele said with surprise in her voice, "That's halfway across the planet."
"Yeah, but that ship might be just what we need," Zeb told them.
"You might be more right than you know, Zeb," Sabine said, agreeing with the Lasat as she noticed an antenna on top of the crawler, "That crawler is equipped with a long-range communications array."
"One that can reach Hera, Sis?" Satele asked her sister as she noticed the antenna as well before she and Janus flipped their helmets' macrobinocular viewplates back up.
"I'm almost certain of it, Sat," Sabine answered as she flipped her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder back up as well.
"Based upon the data provided by Captain Syndulla, the TIE Defender Elite possesses speed, weapons, and shields superior to any fighter in our fleet," Dodonna said as he stood around the holtable in the Great Temple's debriefings room on Yavin IV with Erskin, a hologram of Bail Organa along with Mon Mothma, Lux Bonteri, Kalani, Hera, Chopper and R4-G6, who stood next to the Onderonian senator as the holotable's holoprojector projected a diagram of the TIE Defender Elite from the data recorder, which was placed in the center of the holotable.
"Can we destroy it?" Mon Mothma asked Dodonna.
"In a single ship-to-ship combat, unlikely," Dodonna answered, "Our analysts have yet to find a weakness in its design."
"And the same goes for my battle droids," Kalani added.
"If we can't find a way to fight this thing, it's imperative we prevent it from being mass-produced," Hera stated as Organa placed his hands behind his back, "I request to lead an attack squadron back to Lothal to destroy that factory."
"Considering the Empire's defenses and our limited attack capability, I am not sure now is the right time," Organa told her.
"He's right, Captain Syndulla," Lux said, agreeing with Organa, "We should think about our options at the moment."
"We can't afford to wait. I have a group on the ground ready to aid any mission," Hera argued.
"What about the blockade and Admiral Thrawn?" Organa countered as Dodonna placed his right hand over his chin and beard.
"Your evidence is persuasive, Captain, but we'll need time to discuss further action," Mon Mothma told Hera as she approached her, "Perhaps it's best for you to wait outside." Chopper then grunted in a sad tone as he and Hera left the debriefings room and went outside as Dodonna lowered his arms as everyone turned back to the holotable as Mon Mothma placed her right hand near her chin and her other arm crossed and the fist of the arm under the elbow of her right arm.
"Sabine, Satele, Janus, the three of you are up," Kanan said as the landspeeder that Ryder was piloting headed towards the crawler with Kanan and Zeb sitting in the passenger seats as the three Mandalorians stood up on the back of the speeder as Satele moved her cape over her right shoulder before the three of them jumped into the air as they activated their jetpacks and hovered next to each other as they hovered near a wall with Sabine placing her hand on the wall.
"We've got movement," Sabine told Kanan and the others as she, Satele and Janus saw a security droid wearing uniforms on a catwalk below and ahead of them.
"Mining droid security droid," Satele added.
"And it's patrolling the catwalk," Janus said, agreeing with the twins before they flew forward and landed behind the security droid and hid behind the wall as Satele moved her cape back behind her back before the three of aimed their Vambraces at the droid before firing Paralyzing darts at the droid, disabling it as it electrified before Sabine extended her arm out as she used the Force to lift the droid up before throwing it over the railing as the others on the landspeeder flew up right next to them and hovered there as Zeb and Kanan and climbed out of the landspeeder and onto the the catwalk as a doorway nearby slid open with a security droid walked through the doorway, which Sabine noticed as she pulled one of her WESTAR-35s from its holster and fired a blaster bolt at the droid at its head, disabling the security droid as it fell to the floor as Satele, Janus, Kanan and Zeb rushed down the catwalk before Sabine activated her jetpack and flew up, while the others climbed up a ladder and soon reached a door to the crawler's cockpit and sneaked in with everyone holding their blasters as a male Trandosian with orange skin that had brown mottle, a narrow snout and yellow-orange eyes named Seevor wearing the uniform of a Mining Guild employee as he was sitting in a seat in the front of the cockpit, humming as he wore headphones over his ears.
"I like that song," Zeb told the Trandosian as he grabbed one side of the headphones off of Seevor's ears as he heard that Seevor was listening to rock music and surprised the Trandosian, who screamed as the Lasat picked him up.
"Hello there," Janus said, greeting the trandosian.
"Pirate scum," Seevor said, thinking they were pirates before pressing a button on a device on his wrist, causing an alarm to go off as the crawler slowly stopped moving and descended onto the ground below.
"Sabine, Satele, shut off that alarm," Kanan ordered both of his Padawans, who ran up to the console in front of them as Zeb had trouble keeping hold of Seevor, who was soon freed from his grasp as he elbowed Zeb in the stomach.
"Get off," Seevor ordered as he jumped onto Zeb's back before jumping off of Zeb's back before he was knocked to the floor by Janus as he punched him in the face as his headphones fell off from his head and landed on the floor next to him.
"Stick around, Captain," Janus said as he picked up the Transdosian as his girlfriend pulled a control stick forward before Sabine clicked buttons on the console's keyboard, causing the alarm to stop blaring as Zeb grabbed and held Seevor tightly with his hims as Janus pulled his arm towards him and grabbed the device that Seevor used to activate the arms from his wrist and dropped it before crushing it with one of his armor's boots as the twins walked away from the console with Sabine crossing her arms.
"Do you have any idea who you're messing with?" Seevor asked them as he exhaled.
"The Mining guild, we know," Satele answered.
"Guild control to Crawler 413-24," they suddenly heard a masculine voice say on the crawler's communications system as Sabine lowered her arms, "You've activated your distress beacon and ceased output." Sabine, Satele and Janus then looked at each other with worried expressions, "Is there a problem? Do you copy? Over."
"Ha! You're done, thieving scoundrels," Seevor cried happily, causing Zeb to restrain him harder as Sabine rushed back over to the console as Satele, Janus and Kanan looked at her.
"Guild control to Crawler 413-24. Respond immediately," the voice on the communications system ordered as Zeb placed his hand over Seevor's mouth for a second.
"Yes, respond," Seevor urged the rebels before Zeb placed his hand back over Seevor's mouth.
"We better come up with something," Sabine stated as she looked back at the others.
"Satele, this one's all you," Kanan told Satele.
"I think Janus should, I'm sure he could of something like I can," Satele argued.
"I have the right thing in mind, Teal'ika," Janus replied.
"Be my guess," Sabine told her sister's boyfriend as he removed his helmet and handed it to Satele as walked over to the console as she stepped away from it.
"Sorry. The Crawler has malfunctioned," Janus said as he grabbed the front of his throat as he tried making his voice sound like Seevor's with hissing sounds included in his voice as well.
"Is that what I sound like?" Seevor gasped as Zeb moved his hand away from Seevor's mouth again before he placed it back over the Trandosian's mouth yet again as the three Force-wielders sighed as Sabine and Satele placed their left hands over their helmets' visors.
"Is this Operator 94-34?" The voice on the communications system asked Janus as the twins placed both of their hands over their hips, "You sound different."
"Uh, I'm sick," Janus explained.
"Pirates! Help!" Seevor yelled as he moved his head away from Zeb's hand, causing Zeb to place his hand over Seevor's mouth yet again.
"Crawler 413-24, repeat," the voice on the communications system requested.
"Sorry. Engine flair. Part of the malfunction. We're fixing it," Janus explained.
"Liars! Liars!" Seevor yelled as he moved his head away from Zeb's hand again, only for Zeb to pound him on the head, knocking him out.
"We are sending a technical crew to assist," the voice on the communications system informed Janus, "Stand by."
"Uh, negative, control. We can make repairs ourselves," Janus said as he and the others didn't want the Empire or the Mining Guild to find out about them stealing the crawler, "Do you copy? Over." He then turned to the others as he lowered his hand from the front of his throat, "Uh, that could've gone better."
"I thought it was pretty good," Zeb told him as he walked forward with the unconscious Seevor in his arms.
"Me too," Satele said, agreeing with Zeb as she handed Janus back his helmet, who placed it under his arms before she removed her helmet and placed hers under her arms as well.
"Just make sure the captain stays quiet, and let's get to work," Kanan told them, "We don't have much time."
"Well, this comm's older than I thought," Sabine stated as she removed her helmet and approached the communications system and sat down in the seat in cockpit that Seevor was sitting down on before they commandeered the Crawler, "May take a while to boost this thing's power enough to beam out a long-range transmission." She then began to click buttons on the communication system's keypad as the console beeped, "That's weird. Someone activated the inter-vehicle comm. There's a signal. Coming from the rear section of the Crawler."
"Zeb, Janus and I will check it out," Kanan told them, "As soon as Sabine gets that comm working, contact Hera." He then pointed at Seevor, "And watch him." With that said, Zeb dropped Seevor as he, Janus and Kanan walked out of the room as Zeb grabbed his bo-rifle from his back, while Janus pulled both of his WESTAR-35s from their holsters.
"Nothing here but a big headache," Zeb commented as he, Janus and Kanan walked into the crawler's reactor room near the rear end of the crawler.
"That signal came from somewhere," Kanan told him, "Take a look around, Zeb. Me and Janus will check out below."
With that said, Kanan and Janus jumped down onto the floor below as Kanan reached for his DL-18 blaster pistols as they walked through the smoke within the room as a figure ran through the smoke in front of them with slaves of many different species and races wearing the uniforms of Mining Guild employees seeing them.
"Please don't hurt us," a Snivvian slave said, pleading with them as he hid away from the blind Jedi Knight and the Mandalorian.
"Slaves?" Kanan murmured to himself as he moved his hand away from his blaster's holster as Janus placed his WESTAR-35s back in their holsters.
"Slavery is so cruel that I still don't get why it still exists," Janus muttered to himself before he and Kanan began to speak with the slaves, "It's all right. We're not with the Mining Guild. You're safe." Many of the slaves then began to walk towards him.
"Finally!" They heard a familiar voice call out to Kanan and Janus as they came out from hiding and that person was Vizago as the Devoronian accidentally knocked a human slave to the floor, "My friends and the newest member of their crew have come to rescue me!"
"Vizago?" Kanan said with confusion and disbelief in his voice.
"What are you doing here?" Janus asked the Devoronian.
"I told the others how the Empire banished me to this monstrosity for helping you rebels," Vizago explained as he placed his right hand over Kanan's right shoulder as he stood next to him, "But I knew you would not leave me here to rot."
"Right! Right," Kanan said in a perplexed tone.
"I told them the foreman would be no match for a Jedi or a Mandalorian," Vizago added as he laughed.
"Foreman?" Kanan and Janus both repeated with confusion when they suddenly heard a loud growl from behind them before they turned around as Janus saw a powerfully built male Trandosian with green skin and orange eyes wearing a yellow and blue Mining Guild uniform including a helmet named Proach holding an electro-whip and swung it at Kanan and Janus as the blind Jedi Knight grabbed his lightsaber from his belt and ignited it and grunted as the whip latched onto the saber's blade as Janus pulled both of his WESTAR-35s back out.
"Let's hope you're right, Vizago!" Janus told the Devaronian as Kanan's lightsaber was flown out of the blind Jedi Knight's hand by the electro-whip before Proach flung his whip again, but only at Kanan this time as it latched onto his body, causing him to fell to the floor unconscious before Janus aimed his WESTAR-35s at Proach and fired them at him before the Trandosian swung his electro-whip at Janus, who evaded it and aimed one of his vambraces at him before he fired at sonic wave at Proach, causing him to fly a few feet backwards before he growled at the Mandalorian, "It seems you're all helmet, no head."
The Trandosian then ran towards him in anger as Janus placed both of his WESTAR-35s back in their holsters as he went to punch Proach in the stomach, only for Proach to knee him in the stomach, knocking him to the floor on his stomach before he went to stand back up, only for Proach to knock him back a few feet away on his back and approached him as Janus fell unconscious next to Kanans when he suddenly saw a blaster bolt fly past him and looked up and saw Zeb aiming his bo-rifle at him from the catwalk above him.
"Drop the whip and step away from my friends, you knuckle brained lizard," Zeb threatened Proach before the Trandosian swung his electro-whip onto a metal object above and ascended onto the catwalk above with Zeb firing his bo-rifle at Proach, who evaded the Lasat's blaster bolts as he jumped onto Zeb and grunted as he jumped onto Zeb before they growled at each other as they stood in front of a furnace as they were pushing each other.
"Is that thing working yet, Sis?" Satele asked her sister as she stood next to a seat near her sister with Seevor, who was still unconscious lying on the floor behind them.
"I've made the modifications, but I need to encrypt our message so that the Empire doesn't trace the signal back to rebel command," Sabine answered as unbeknownst to them, Seevor regained consciousness as he stood back up.
"Get off my bridge" Seevor ordered both Mandalorians, "I'll have you crushed into extraction waste!"
"Can't you keep him quiet, Sat?" Sabine asked her sister.
"Ain't nothing gonna shut me up!" Seevor retorted as Satele walked up to him and grabbed him by the collar, "Hey!" He then grunted as she pulled him towards one of the closets in the Crawler's cockpit, "You can't put me in there. I know people!"
"Yeah, well, if you see any of your people in there, tell them I said hello," Seevor told him as she flung Seevor into the closet that she pulled him towards before closing the closet's door.
"You got a big surprise coming," Seevor chuckled as Satele walked away from the closet as she approached her sister.
"Maybe you should check on Kanan, Janus and Zeb?" Sabine told her sister.
"I'm sure they're fine," Satele assured her.
Proach punched Zeb in the face before the Lasat began to hit him with his bo-rifle as it was now in its electro-staff feature, only for the Trandosian to grab it and toss it away as Zeb rushed at him before he pushed him out of the reactor room and onto the catwalk and outside the reactor core.
Proach then proceeded to elbow the Lasat on the back before picking him up and slammed Zeb onto the floor, only for Zeb to see this as the Trandosian slammed him on the floor as they both fell to the floor before Proach went to punch him, only for Zeb to see this and evaded the Trandosian's punch and punched him instead before Proach kicked him back with his feet before they both stood back up as the Trandosian grabbed Zeb by the head and slammed his head into one of the catwalk's guardrails before pulling over the rail as he held Zeb by the feet, only for Zeb to start kicking Proach in the face before grabbing his head with his feet and pulled him downwards as he yelled, only to grab hold of the railing as well and punched Zeb in the face as they began kicking each other with their feet.
As this was happening, Kanan and Janus, who both had regained consciousness, rushed out of the catwalk and began looking for Zeb, "Kanan, Janus, up here!" They then heard Zeb call their names from the catwalk's guardrail above them as they looked up and Janus saw Zeb fighting Proach on the catwalk's guardrail.
"Don't you worry, Zeb. We're coming," Janus assured Zeb as he and Kanan rushed back into the reactor room as Zeb kicked Proach, who then took his electro-whip back out and swung it at him, only for Zeb to evade the whip, which soon latched onto his left arm as it was free from hanging onto the bottom of the catwalk's floor as they began to pull at each other as electricity began to flow through Zeb's body, causing him to scream in pain before he pulled the whip towards him, causing Proach to fall down as he screamed but he was still holding the whip in his hand and the pressure between the two began to strain Zeb's right hand as he was beginning to lose his grip and just as he was about to let go of the catwalk's floor, Proach accidentally let go of his electro-grip and fell to his death as Zeb soon let go of the floor as well after he panted and yelped when Kanan and Janus suddenly appeared on the catwalk that he was hanging onto and grabbed him by the arm.
"You're really, really heavy," Kanan told Zeb as he grunted as he grabbed him with his other arm as well before he pulled the Lasat back up onto the catwalk's floor as Zeb placed his left hand over Kanan's right shoulder as the three of them heard cheering and looked down and saw the slaves cheering on the catwalk below them with Vizago standing in front of them.
"You see that? Those are my friends," Vizago told the other slaves.
Back on Yavin IV, Hera and Chopper stood outside the debriefings room within the Great Temple with Hera pacing as the door in front of them slid open as Mon Mothma walked out f the debriefings room and approached Hera.
"Still no decision," Mon Mothma told the Twi'lek.
"They don't trust me," Hera stated.
"It isn't that. The TIE Defender isn't our only problem," Mon Mothma explained, "The Empire has a new plan, as evidenced by protocol 13."
"Never heard of it," Hera told her, "How did you learn about this new Imperial protocol?"
"It is the immediate evacuation of all Imperial personnel from an occupied planet," Mon Mothma explained, "And it was Colonel Yularen who told us about it in one of his Fulcrum transmissions."
"An order like that should only confirm our worst fears. And we're too afraid to do anything about it," Hera said before walking through the doorway with Chopper grunting a response as he followed her into the Great Temple's debriefings room.
"We haven't called you in yet, Captain Syndulla," Lux told Hera as he noticed her entering the debriefings room of the Great Temple as she began to approach the holotable.
"Senator Bonteri is correct, Captain Syndulla, this is a closed door…" Organa began to say as he agreed with Lux as he turned to Hera.
"Senators, if I may," Hera requested, "I know the odds are against this attack's success. But if that fighter goes into production, our squadrons will not stand a chance. I believe it's a risk worth taking. And whether we fail or succeed, at least our actions will show the Empire and the galaxy that we will not stand down, that we will not be broken by fear, that we are strong, united by our courage. Now is our time to strike."
"What is this?" Satele asked as she walked up to Kanan, Zeb and Janus, who had his helmet removed and under his arm as she saw the slaves including Vizago on the catwalk they were standing on.
"Freedom!" Vizago answered as he turned around towards her.
"Vizago? I don't believe it," she muttered with disbelief.
"What? Oh! Now I see. You did not come here to rescue me," Vizago said as he crossed his arms and turned around, while Kanan shook his head as he placed his right hand over his mask as he facepalmed himself, "Betrayed! Oh, I knew I should've given you up!"
"Yeah, well, we're here now," Kanan told the Devronian as he lowered his right arm from his mask.
"And we are rescuing you," Satele added.
"Guys, get up here," Sabine suddenly said on everyone's comlinks as well as Satele's and Janus' wrist communicators.
"I've got two targets closing fast," Sabine told everyone as she removed a pair of electrobinoculars from her eyes as the others and the slaves including Vizago rushed into the cockpit before she placed the electrobinoculars back over her eyes as she saw two Imperial patrol transports flying towards the crawler, "Those aren't Mining Guild vehicles."
"No, it's the Empire," Satele stated.
"It's not too late to abandon ship," Zeb said as he crossed his arms as he was still holding the electro-whip that he took from Proach, while Sabine removed the electrobinoculars from her eyes again.
"We still need to contact Hera," Sabine told him.
"This crawler is valuable. It has long-range communication, and we can use it for our attack," Satele added as Sabine and Zeb turned to her.
"I agree with you, Teal'ika," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend as he placed his left hand over her armor's right pauldron.
"Right now, it's unarmed. No match for those gunships," Zeb argued.
"Mining Guild vessel, transmit security code now," they all suddenly heard a masculine Imperial voice say on the crawler's communications system.
"I think we can hold it without a fight," Satele stated.
"If you've got a plan, now's the time," Kanan told her.
"Janus, take your Beskar plates off," Satele told her boyfriend before gesturing to an unused Mining Guild employee uniform nearby, "And put that Mining Guild uniform over your undersuit and pretend to be a Mining Guild miner."
"I never thought I would pretend to be a miner," Janus remarked, happily as he began to remove his Beskar plates, beginning with his armor's breastplate as he moved its straps over his arms and handed it along with his helmet to Sabine before took his Jetpack off and handed it to Sabine as well before he bagan to remove the rest of his Beskar plates including his Vambraces as he went to put on the spare Mining Guild employee's uniform as Sabine held his helmet, and a few of his Beskar plates and jetpack as Satele and Kanan held the rest of their Beskar plates in their hands as they walked into the closet across from the one that Satele placed Seevor inside of earlier.
"Zeb, get the slaves on deck. Show the Empire everything is under control," Satele told Zeb.
"Me, a slave master?" Zeb said with disbelief in his voice.
"Just put the helmet on," she urged him.
"All right, I guess," Zeb said as he grabbed a Mining Guild employee's helmet that was sitting next to Sabine and Satele's helmets and placed it over his head as Janus grabbed his own Mining Guild employee's helmet and placed it over his head as well.
"Vizago, into the captain's chair," Satele told the Devaronian, who had his arms crossed before lowering them as he walked towards the seat in the cockpit that Seevor was sitting in when Satele and the others before they commandeered the Crawler as Zeb walked towards the doorway that leads to the outside of the Crawler and approached the slaves, who were standing outside the Crawler's cockpit.
"Stay out of my chair!" Seevor demanded from the closet as he banged on the closet's door.
"By the moons of Gozgo, I hope this works," Vizago muttered to himself as he sat down in the seat that Seevor was sitting in before Satele and the others commandeered the Crawler.
"Repeat, transmit security codes, or we will open fire," the same Imperial voice said on the Crawler's communications system again.
"Uh, this is the captain. Uh, 93-94. How may I help you?" Vizago said, answering the Imperial transmission.
"The Mining Guild reported a security alert for this vessel," the same Imperial voice answered.
"Hey, you sure Vizago won't turn us in to save himself, Sat?" Sabine asked her twin sister in a whispered sounding tone.
"Too late now, Bine," Satele answered.
"We're having a maintenance issue and lost our security codes, but everything is under control," Vizago told the same Imperial voice as Zeb and Janus stood behind him with the Lasat having his hands over his hips, while the Mandalorian had his arms crossed.
"Kick the bums out!" Seevor yelled as he continued to pound on the door from the closet as Vizago placed his right hand over his right eye with annoyance after looking at the closet and Zeb, "Scoundrels, all of them!"
"Repeat that, captain," the same Imperial vice requested as Vizago placed his left hand over his forehead, while Zeb walked over to the closet that Seevor was inside of as the door slid open before he entered the closet with the door sliding shut behind him as he went to knock the Trandosian out.
"I was yelling at my slaves!" Vizago explained, "They were being insolent!"
"Prepare to be boarded," the same Imperial voice told him as Zeb exited the closet that Seevor was inside of.
"No, no, no no, no, that is not necessary," Vizago protested, "I am trying to run an operation here."
Vizago then stood up as he, Zeb and Janus walked out of the Crawler's cockpit as the two of the Imperial patrol transports landed on the deck of the Crawler with one of the slaves looking up at one of the Imperial patrol transports.
"What are you looking at? Get working," Zeb ordered the slaves as he pretended to he a slave master as stormtroopers with a stormtrooper with a black colored pauldron wielding a DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle leading them as they exited their Imperial patrol transports as their doors slid open with half of them sliding upwards and the other half downwards as they form steps, "Heh… You can't get good help these days."
"Don't mind me, I'm working," Janus told the stormtroopers as he pretended to mine with one of the Mining Guild's mining equipment as he held it in his hands.
"Squad 2, sweep the lower decks. The rest of you, with me," the stormtrooper with the black colored pauldron ordered the other stormtroopers with a few of them walking down the stairs next to the cockpit as the others began to enter the cockpit.
"I told you everything was under control," Vizago reminded the stormtroopers as he backed away back into the Crawler's cockpit, "I'll have to report this intrusion to the Mining Guild."
"Step aside, Captain," the stormtrooper with the black colored pauldron ordered the Devaronian.
"All right, let me show our output data logs," Vizago told the stormtrooper with the black paldron as he sat down in the seat that Seevor was sitting in before Satele and the others commandeered the Crawler, "They aren't as boring as you would think."
"All we need is that lizard to start flapping his mouth again," Satele muttered as she, Sabine and Kanan hid in the closet in the one that they placed Janus' helmet, Beskar plates and Jetpack inside of with their helmets over their heads with Kanan standing inside of the closet with Janus' Beskar plates inside of the closet with them as the closet was opened a little before Satele closed the closet shut.
"There's nothing in there," Vizago told the stormtrooper with a black pauldron as he began to walk towards the closet that the three Force-Wielders were hiding inside of.
"Get back," the stormtrooper with a black pauldron ordered Vizago as he aimed his blaster rifle at him.
"Oh. But, please, see for yourself," Vizago said as Satele opened the closet door from the closet that she, her sister and their master was hiding inside of as she grabbed one of her lightsabers and held it in her hand as the stormtrooper with a black colored pauldron and opened the closet door to the closet that Satele placed Seevor inside of and saw that nothing was in the closet as Seevor had somehow escaped the closet, "Gone? I mean, see? Nothing there," Satele then closed the closet door to the closet that she, Sabine and Kanan were hiding inside of again, "If you'd like a full inspection, I can give you one. It shouldn't take longer than a couple of hours."
"You may have that kind of time, but we do not," the stormtrooper with a black pauldron told the Devaronian, "Now get this crawler operational."
"Of course. I was just about to do that," Vizago assured him.
"Squad, move out," the stormtrooper with a black pauldron ordered the other stormtroopers before they left the cockpit.
"Don't worry. We'll be crawling in no time," Vizago told the stormtroopers as the two Imperial patrol transports lifted off of the Crawler's deck after they reentered the Imperial vessels and flew away from the Crawler after the Devaronian waved at them with his right hand and had his other hand over his hip as he stood in the cockpit's doorway before placing his right hand over his hip.
"Nice work, Vizago. You haven't lost your game," Satele said, complimenting the Devaronian as she had her helmet removed and placed it under her arm as she, her sister and their master had left the closet with Sabine having removed her helmet and under her arm as well.
"Like Mother said, 'Once a scoundrel, always a scoundrel,'" Vizago told her as he and Janus reentered the Crawler's cockpit, "But we do have a problem. Where's captain 93-94?"
"He got loose," Kanan answered as he inspected the closet that Satele placed Seevor in earlier as he held the closet's grate in his hands before setting it on the floor next to the closet's wall.
"Guys, I think I've got it," Sabine announced as she stood at the communications system as she began to transmit the message to Hera, "Transmitting to Hera now."
"That doesn't sound good," Kanan remarked as the communications system sparked with electricity.
"Yeah I agree, Kanan, that definitely didn't sound good," Janus said, agreeing with the blind Jedi Knight.
"Transmitter's lost power?" Sabine said with confusion in her voice as Zeb reentered the Crawler's cockpit.
"I told you not to mess with me. You may have duped those Imperial suckers, but you won't fool the Mining Guild," they all suddenly heard Seevor say on the Crawler's communication's system.
"That sneaky little lizard," Zeb muttered to himself.
"How'd he get a comlink?" Satele asked with confusion in her voice.
"He's on the crawler's intercom, and he's sabotaged the long-range transmitter, Sis," Sabine answered.
"Patch me through to the Empire, or I will destroy this crawler, you pirate scum!" Seevor threatened.
"Oh, for the love of the Resol'nare, we're not pirates, we're rebels," Janus told the Trandosian with irritation in his voice.
Satele then walked into the closet where she placed Seevor inside of earlier before he escaped with Kanan, Janus and Zeb following her.
"We've got to find him before he sabotages this whole thing," Kanan stated as they looked into the opening of the ventilation shaft.
"I agree with you, Kanan," Janus said, agreeing with the blind Jedi Knight.
"He's in the ventilation shaft. He could be anywhere," Zeb muttered to himself as he crossed his arms.
"His main target will be the reactor core in the refinery," Sabine told them.
"Come on," Kanan sighed as he, Janus and Zeb rushed out of the cockpit and jumped down from the deck and onto the catwalk before they ran across the catwalk over to the door to the refinery, only for the door to not budge and open.
"We can't get in," Janus told Kanan and Zeb before he spoke into his wrist's communicator as Zeb placed both of his hands over his hips, "He's locked the refinery doors."
"I can't cut through either. They're magnetically sealed," Kanan added as he activated and spoke into his comlink.
"Well then we need someone capable of navigating through those ventilation shafts," Sabine said as she had her helmet removed and placed next to Satele's helmet, which here placed where Zeb and Janus grabbed their Mining Guild helmets from and turned around towards her twin sister, who along with Vizago had their arms crossed and began to walk towards her.
"Oh, no, no, no. I am not going in there," Satele protested as she lowered her arms and made a no-way gesture with her hands.
"It's a ventilation shaft, Sis. It's what you do," Sabine told her as she crossed her arms.
"If Vizago can fool Empire, Mando Jedi can climb into shaft," Vizago said, agreeing with Sabine as he placed his right hand over the left pauldron of Satele's armor for a second after he lowered his arms and placed his left arm behind his back and his right hand over his chest before she looked up at him as he removed his right hand from her armor's left pauldron before she removed her jetpack and handed it to Sabine as she grabbed her helmet and placed it back over her head before climbing into the ventilation shaft.
"I don't do this anymore," Satele reminded everyone as she crawled through the ventilation shaft as there was steam hissing around her within the ventilation shaft.
"Make a left on the next junction," Sabine said on Satele's wrist communicator as she reached the end of one of the ventilation shaft's junctions and fell down from the end of the ventilation shaft's junction onto her back.
"Satele, hurry! We can't let him destroy the reactor," Kanan told Satele on her wrist's communicator.
"Like what Kanan said, Teal'ika, hurry up to the refinery and stop the crawler's captain from destroying the reactor," Janus said, agreeing with Kanan on Satele's wrist communicator.
"Satele? Sis, are you there? What do you see?" Sabine asked her sister on her wrist communicator as Satele began to get back up.
"She's probably taking a nap," Zeb remarked as Satele climbed out of the Ventilation shaft at the refinery and jumped onto the catwalk below and hid at one of the guard rails.
"I'm here," Satele said as she spoke into her helmet's wrist communicator, "Oh, he shut down the reactors, all right."
"Okay, to turn them back on, find the primary power console. It should be across from the furnace," Sabine explained on Satele's wrist communicator as Satele walked across the catwalk as unbeknownst to her Seevor was crawling on the bottom of the catwalk below her.
"Found it," Satele said as she reached the refinery's primary power console as she stood across from the furnace and began to use the console as Seevor came up behind her, which she saw him with the corner of her eye as she grabbed her lightsaber with the green blade, igniting it as she swung it around towards him.
"This is my crawler, rebel," Seevor told the Mandalorian before jumping away from her, "I work for the Guild just as he who spawned me as my spawn will after me," he soon then climbed down from the wall behind her and as she sensed it and jumped in front of her before crawling behind her and grabbing her from behind, causing her to lose grip of her lightsaber, which fell to the floor and she soon elbowed him, causing him to let go of her with him walking backwards towards the furnace and almost fell in before turning to see the furnace in front of him, "Whoa!" He then backed away before accidentally stepping on her lightsaber, causing him to trip and fall into the furnace, screaming to his death.
"Watch out," she said as she saw Seevor get vaporized from the heat within the furnace and grabbed her lightsaber as it rolled over to her.
"We made a believer out of you yet, Ryder?" Kanan asked Ryder as the former Lothalite governor walked up next to him on the Crawler after piloting his landspeeder back to the Crawler.
"You're getting there, Kanan," Ryder answered as he placed his right hand over Kanan's left shoulder.
"Well, I beamed our signal to rebel command. Now we just have to wait for a reply," Sabine announced on Sabine's comlink.
"Guess this crawler belongs to us," Zeb said as he stood next to Satele and Janus as Satele had her helmet under her arm as he crossed his arms, "Maybe we are pirates after all."
"Yeah, maybe we are Zeb," Janus said, agreeing with Zeb as Vizago walked up next to them.
"At least these plains have been spared. For now," Satele stated as she looked at the plains in the distance.
"That is not all you spared," Vizago said, causing her to turn around towards him, "I know you did not come here to rescue Vizago, but I am grateful all the same."
"And we're grateful for you, Vizago, for not turning us in," she told him as she placed her right hand over his left shoulder before turning to the other former slaves, "You're all free now. But we could use your help to fight the Empire on Lothal."
"Yes, we…" the human slave with tan skin, white hair and beard stammered.
"We will fight with the big purple beast," the slave that was a Rodian told her.
"We will fight!" The human slave with tan skin and dark hair said, agreeing with the Rodian.
"As for this vessel, it is obviously in need of a new captain," Vizago told Satele,
"I think I know just the pirate for the job," Satele said, playfully elbowing Vizago in the stomach, causing him to chuckle.
"Sabine, can I speak with you for a second?" Kanan asked Sabine as she left the Crawler's cockpit towards her sister and the others including Vizago and the newly freed Mining Guild slaves.
"Sure thing, Kanan," Sabine answered as they walked away from the others, "What is it that you wanted to speak to me about?"
"I wanted to say how you've grown since me, Hera, Zeb and Chopper found you on Garel all those years ago, from learning to become a Jedi like your sister after we found out you were Force-Sensitive, making amends with Ketsu, overcoming your guilt over building your weapon that targets Beskar, the very heart and tradition of your, Satele and Janus' people and helped your mother accept you back into your clan," Kanan told her.
"Is this going anywhere?" She asked him.
"I think it's time," he answered.
"Time for what?" She asked him, suspiciously.
"That we part ways as Master and Apprentice and fight alongside each other as fellow Jedi Knights," he explained, causing her to smile as he grabbed his lightsaber and ignited its blue blade, "Kneel," she then kneeled down before him as he moved and hovered his saber over the right pauldron of Sabine's armor, "By the right of the council," he then hovered his saber's blade over her armor's left pauldron, "By the will of the Force," he then hovered his saber's blade over her head, "Sabine Wren, you may rise."
"What did Kanan want to speak to you about, Sis?" Satele asked her sister as she and Kanan rejoined her and the others after Kanan deactivated his lightsaber and clipped it back onto his belt.
"He just wanted to Knight me, Sat," Sabine answered.
"You Knighted Sabine before me, why?" Satele asked Kanan with confusion as she looked at him with a confused look on her face.
"Because she's had more training in combat than you've had, Satele as your father left you here on Lothal to Mira and Ephraim Bridger when you both were five years old," Kanan explained.
"Fine, you've made your point, Kanan," Satele sighed before turning to her sister, "Why did you come to get us, Bine?"
"Oh, I was going to tell you guys and the others that we're receiving a transmission," Sabine answered before turning to the others, "Come on, everyone, we're receiving a transmission."
"Happy to hear from you guys. And good timing, rebel command has authorized the attack. Fighters are being fueled and bombers are being loaded and I've just been promoted from captain to general," Hera said on the Crawler's communications system after Sabine and the others including Ryder as she activated Hera's transmission.
"The attack? It's happening?" Satele asked her, happily.
"We're launching our assault on the next rotation. I told Mon Mothma you'll coordinate the ground assault," Hera explained.
"You can count on us," Satele assured the Twi'lek.
