There was a moment of discombobulation when Lucy opened her eyes, and she couldn't tell if she was dreaming or not. All she saw was white. She blinked again and frowned, feeling like there was supposed to be some sort of recollection. The harder Lucy tried to remember the further it slipped from her. she was laying on her back, looking at the ceiling and abruptly back in reality. Natsu's snoring was the next thing to register along with the tickle of his breath against her cheek. His nose was pressed into her hair, an arm thrown over her waist and was her head laying on his other one? Lucy wasn't sure but her pillow felt lumpier than normal.
The flash of annoyance at finding Natsu wrapped around her puffed out quickly. He'd never managed to stay in her guest bedroom; she wasn't truly surprised to find him next to her. It became almost normal to wake to him in her bed since he'd physically crashed into her life. Lucy, with a soft sigh, began to untangle herself from him. She sat up slowly, a mumble and wrinkle of his brow the only change in him, and cautiously began to push his arm from around her. Inch from inch she gently pushed her way to freedom, her sleepy brown eyes swinging to her desk, searching for her newest items.
The keys were putting off a faint golden glow and a feeling of homesickness washed over Lucy for a place she couldn't name or reach. It was a lonely feeling, her fingers trembling against Natsu's arm. She was barely able to restrain a sob from escaping her lips, instead focusing on her phone next to the keys. The screen was blank, no message notifications. Her feelings of loneliness amplified, feeling isolated with the understanding that Levy hadn't texted her back. Hadn't called her back. The blonde had been excited to talk to her blue haired friend about the keys, ask questions and FINALLY apologize for the way that they had split over a week ago. She'd been too focused on surviving with Natsu, with coming to terms with her feelings of his violation of her body. Lucy had been too wrapped up in her own confusion to reach out and was paying the price.
"What's wrong Luce?" Natsu's voice, heavy with sleep, slurred out. The arm around her waist squeezed gently and he shifted till his nose bumped against her hip. "Your thoughts are heavy, woke me up."
"You saying my thinking woke you up?" Lucy whispered conspiratorially.
"More a feeling," Natsu murmured around a big yawn, "Mark on my shoulder tingled, got a feeling of longing? Maybe sadness. Coming from you. Off topic. What's wrong?" The jumble of words coming from the stage-5 clinger confused Lucy. She wasn't sure if he was just spewing words or making sentences, his tired speech sounding drunk.
"I haven't heard from Levy in a while," the 'since you arrived' was heavily implied in her tone. Natsu made no indication he heard her, so she just sighed and shoved her tangle of hair from her face. Lucy attempted to slide out of bed but was prevented by the teether around her hips.
"I don't want to get up yet," the drake whined pathetically.
"You wouldn't have to get up if you slept in your own bed."
"That bed doesn't smell as good as yours." There was a pregnant pause from Natsu before he mumbled a lot lower, "I also think you just want to keep the softer mattress to yourself."
"It's MY bed, Natsu!"
"Just a little longer Luce…please?" Natsu pressed while gently dragging her back down with him. He dragged her under the covers and tucked her head under his chin. He rumbled happily when all she did was sigh.
"Fine, but just for a little longer. It might be Saturday, but I do have things I need done before tonight." Lucy relented. There was no point in fighting, he wouldn't let her move until he was ready. She'd also never heard him say please before.
Lucy woke to the sound of birds and traffic drifting from her window. For the second time that morning she pushed Natsu away but this time with enough room to wiggle out of his grasp without him noticing. Around a yawn she tenderly shifted off the bed and checked the time on her phone. 10 am. They had slept for another three hours. With an internal groan, the blonde padded out of the room, down the stairs and into the kitchen to make tea and go over the dinner reservation details from her secretary. Natsu's snores the last thing on her mind.
Lucy was lost in the details of the email, her teacup balanced halfway between her mouth and the counter. She was fretting over what she should wear; this meeting could make or break her success in her green transport launch. The distracted blonde was brought back to reality when Natsu's hand brought her hand and the teacup to his mouth, and he took a sip.
"How do you drink that?" Natsu grunted out in disgust, "Tastes like laundry water." He continued and Lucy frowned while moving her cup away from him and shifting her email from his view. "So, where we goin' to eat tonight?"
"We aren't going to eat anywhere. I'm going to a place that would throw you out for your table manners alone…not to mention you could probably bankrupt the company with your never-ending appetite." Lucy replied with a scowl, "Stop being nosy."
"I'm not going to be left behind Lucy," Natsu growled, pressing into her space, "you gunna leave me to starve?" he whined comically, trying to downplay the menace that oozed off him. Lucy didn't give a shit. She wasn't scared and she sure as hell wasn't going to allow him to affect her livelihood and mess up her reputation.
"You'll be fine. I'm sure you can fend for yourself just fine," she said turning to face him with a smile, "Or am I supposed to baby you? Poor Natsu, I'd hate for you to starve." Lucy cooed tauntingly. She watched a fire light his eyes and a reckless smile bloom.
"Was that a challenge Luce? Fine, but I'm not gunna be too far. I'll 'fend for myself' and wait for ya, like a good boy."
"I honestly don't care what you do as long as it doesn't ruin my work or my image. Now help me set the table if you want to eat," the blonde grumbled while shoving off the counter and toward the burners on the island.
Breakfast was uneventful and ended with Lucy dragging Natsu out of the townhouse with her while she shopped for a decent evening dress; he'd whined about how he'd rather stay on the couch, but she wasn't about to trust him alone in her house if it could be helped. She had a sinking feeling he'd go through her underwear and steal some of her intimates for himself. She shivered as they took the long way to 'Take Over'.
"Why'd I have to change?" Natsu huffed next to her, hands tugging at the collar of his plain black t-shirt. "I thought this was about you."
"Like I could let you run around in a vest and sandals, it's fall! It's starting to get cold! Honestly, I wish you would have put on that sweatshirt instead of the T-shirt, but I'll take a little victory." Lucy griped, slowing down at the entrance of the alleyway that housed the sign to 'Fairytale." The sign was still crooked and hanging on by a thread.
"The cold doesn't bother me," Natsu bellyached while leaning past her to see what she was staring at. His eyes landed on the sign, and he grunted, grabbing Lucy's arm, and tugging her along. "Can we hurry up?"
"Impatient much." Lucy whispered under her breath before falling silent. The rest of the walk was quiet, neither willing to talk, both lost in their own thoughts. The familiar bronze doors soon came into view and the traditional greeting of 'welcome' was shouted out. Rather than coming face to face with Mira, a younger woman with the same snow-white hair was smiling excitedly, before rushing over and hugging Lucy; Natsu wasn't so dense that he didn't notice the way her eyes racked over him.
"Lucy! It's been a while."
"Hi, Lisanna! You've were busy the last time I was here," Lucy greeted shyly, her smile small but genuine, "I was hoping for a bit of help. I have a business dinner in a few hours and need the perfect dress."
"What color were you looking for?" Lisanna gushed while grabbing Lucy's hand and tugging her gently into the store, "Oh I bet you'd look stunning in navy blue or maybe pink?" The blonde giggled and opened her mouth to respond but was cut off by Natsu.
"Red. She'd look beautiful in red," He answered for her, his hand snaking around her waist to tug her gently out of Lisanna's grip. The white-haired young woman shot Lucy an approving look before rushing off ahead of the duo to pull a few red dresses from the racks. "Don't you agree?"
"Oh absolutely, I'm kind of disappointed I didn't think of it," Lisanna called back while rushing over and shoving a few dresses into Lucy's grasp and ushering her into the fitting room. "Where'd you find a man like him, hm?"
"W-what? Lisanna! It's not what you think!" The embarrassed blonde stuttered from behind the dressing room door. Lis just snorted with a shake of her head.
"It's not fair to keep them all to yourself Lu."
"Well, what do you think of this one?" Lucy asked excitedly while exiting the dressing room and twirling. The sweetheart neckline showed off a respectable amount of cleavage and the off the shoulder design showed off her delicate collarbones. The satin material cinched in around her waist and flared out past her hips ending in a soft tumble around her knees. Natsu couldn't help the groan that left his mouth at the sight of her, the red made her hair glow; made her look like a living flame.
"Beautiful," the pinket whispered reverently and Lisanna could only nod in agreement.
"Red is definitely your color Lucy. Wait right here I have the perfect belt to go with that…and shoes! We need to think about shoes!" Lisanna squeaked excitedly and rushed off. Lucy ran her hands nervously down the front of the dress and avoided looking Natsu in the face. His intense staring was making her uncomfortable. Before long she was saved by Lis shoving a thin golden belt around her waist and deftly tying her hair up into a beautifully messy side pony with a golden flower hair pin to finish off the look. "Perfect! I think you should curl your hair, go for the effortless curly/wavy look you know?"
"Thank you, Lis," Lucy said with a brilliant smile, "This dress is stunning, and I think I have the perfect heels for it."
"Oh do tell!" was whined out as Lucy changed back into her casual clothing and then walked to the back of the store to pay.
"Well, my father gave me these adorable red Louboutin's for graduating high school. they have large red bows on the top of the heel," Natsu heard the hesitation within her speech as she spoke about the last gift her father had given her. Lisanna didn't seem to notice.
"You mean the suede ones that were all the rage and limited edition? I'm envious."
"Yes." Lucy cleared her throat before continuing, handing Lis her card, and fidgeting nervously, "I've never had another reason to wear them, but they'd match the dress so wonderfully."
"You'll be a force to be reckoned with tonight," was said with a wink, "you're going to nail it Lucy!"
oOo
Before long Natsu was glaring down at the blonde smiling at the doorman who was holding the door open for her and staring at her hungrily.
"I should be done in two hours or so, Natsu." Lucy said with a small wave and began to turn away from him to head into the upscale restaurant, "Don't do anything reckless." Called over her shoulder as she walked toward the door, her hips swinging enticingly. Natsu couldn't help the low growl that left his mouth nor could he stop his hand from shooting out and gripping her arm, dragging her back to him roughly.
"Two hours Luce," Natsu whispered against her mouth before kissing her thoroughly, possessively; he had to cut it shorter than he wanted to before he got carried away and dragged her down on the sidewalk and fucked her in public. "Two hours or else I'm coming in there and dragging you out. I wont care if you're kicking and screaming," he continued, satisfied at the dazed look on her face and the slight smudge of her red lipstick.
"I-I'll," Lucy started to stutter, her hand coming up to swipe a finger under her lower lip in a weak attempt to fix her makeup. "I'll see you when I'm done," the blonde finished lamely before turning on her heel and entering the building. Natsu couldn't help the smirk he tossed at the bewildered look the doorman pointed his way. He didn't mind public displays of affection if it meant that Lucy would be viewed as his.
After wiping the back of his hand against his mouth, Natsu turned back the way he came whistling jovially; he had a few things to investigate while Luce was preoccupied with her CEO stuff. His whistling died around a frown as he stopped at the entrance of the ally that housed the fairytale sign. Natsu sighed as he stepped into the dark and sniffed around uninterestedly, he'd noticed the first time Luce had passed by that the portal had been sealed off.
"Guess those sorry excuse for demons are useful for something after all," Natsu snorted, slamming his hand against the pathetic sign, and sending it crashing to the floor. He stepped on it and smirked. The siege he'd orchestrated on the guild has been successfully keeping the mages preoccupied and unable to interfere with him and Lucy. "I need to check in with Jackal soon," was grumbled with a groan. Natsu needed to make sure that this little war carried on for a while longer, for the longer that Lucy was cut off from the guild, especially Levy, the longer she'd be without her keys; she couldn't figure out how to harness the power without aid…and the drake didn't feel like fighting for Lucy's attention against the overly protective pussy cat and the rude fish. Natsu also hoped that her isolation from her newfound friends would push her closer to him.
"Let's see about Levy's apartment," The pink haired man said before picking up his whistling and sauntering out the ally and towards the other end of town.
"What a waste of time," Natsu mumbled around a yawn as he rounded the corner to the street that housed the fancy restaurant he'd dropped Lucy off at early in the night. He'd seen a whole lot of nothing, the apartment having sat empty for a few days, a fine layer of dust settling over the tiny librarian's stuff. At least he'd confirmed that she'd been too busy to hang around, which increased his confidence in operation guild distraction. "Now to see if I gotta drag Luce outta there."
"You sure you don't need us to take you home?"
"I appreciate the concern, but I have someone I'm waiting on," giggled out politely. Natsu recognized that strained giggle, his onyx eyes quick to fixate on the blonde stumbling out of the reach of some man in a grey suit. He felt his blood begin to boil and picked up the pace closer to the entrance of the restaurant.
"That's what they all say, come on I'd feel awful if you walked home by yourself. I could always call you a cab, or maybe I could help you home. It's no big deal!"
"I don't think that's a good idea," Lucy slurred slightly. Had she hiccupped?
"Come on. We already had dinner, what's the big deal if your business partner takes you home?" the man continued, reaching his hand out to brush against Lucy's hip.
"Aye, Luce!" Natsu called out when he was close enough to be noticed, "Sorry I'm late." He was itching to connect his fist to the face of the pushy bastard who thought he could pressure his Lucy into going home with him. He relished in the tensing of the idiot's body and smirked when their eyes met.
"Natsu!" Lucy's excited cry had the drake breaking eye contact to watch with confused amusement as she rushed at him. Before he could register what was happening, she had launched herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, "I missed you! What took you so long?"
"Uhm…" Natsu mumbled unsure of what was happening. He blinked before grinning widely when she planted a kiss on the corner of his mouth, "Are you drunk Luce?" He couldn't help the chuckle that left his mouth as he smoothed his hands over her ass, making sure her dress was covering her.
"Nooo!" his blonde sang defiantly. He raised an eyebrow at her rosey face and rolled his eyes.
"Right," He drawled. "And I'm not a reanimated dragon with demonic traits. Thanks for watching her for me," Natsu called over to the man watching with his mouth open, "I got it from here." The pinket didn't wait for a response instead striding off with Lucy still wrapped around him.
"I thought you forgot about me," she mumbled against his neck.
"I could never forget about ya Luce, just lost track of time."
"Mmmmm….I think I drank too much," She groaned, squeezing her arms tighter around his neck, "I lost track of how many glasses of wine he shoved at me."
"Told ya I should have come with," Natsu grumbled lowly. He was craving blood again.
"You promise you won't forget about me?" Lucy slurred lowly, "Everyone forgets and leaves after a while…"
oOo
Natsu could only watch as Lucy stumbled around the kitchen island toward the living room. Her stumbling only increasing as she attempted to yank off her heels while moving. He trailed after her, eyes riveted to the swish of the dress around her legs; the illusion was broken temporarily by Lucy's cry of triumph as she finally managed to get both heels off.
"I can't feel my feet," Lucy whined while reaching blindly behind her back, groping for the zipper of her dress.
"Luce.."
"GOTCHA," The blonde shouted excitedly over Natsu, the back of her dress unzipped and pooling around her legs. Natsu snorted as he watched her trip over the material before landing on her hands and knees in front of the fireplace. "Oops." With a sigh she pressed her face against the cold surface of the floor. "My face is hot…everything's spinning."
"Luce," Natsu groaned. He couldn't take his eyes off her ass, the thong she was wearing not doing much to cover or hide anything. He couldn't stop himself from kneeling behind her and running his hands up the back of her thighs to her ass, squeezing lightly as he went. "I've been patient enough," the drake panted lowly, one hand gripping her hip and the other sliding between her thighs to rub against her covered center.
"Natsu?" Lucy moaned lightly, struggling to sit up. She didn't get very far before he was leaning over her back, keeping her in place as he pushed her thong out of the way and shoving a finger into her.
"Be a good girl Luce and spread your legs for me." The drake groaned as he worked another finger into her and scissored them, stretching her slowly. She was wet and warm and Natsu felt like he was boiling over. His vision was hazy, and his teeth ached, sweat beading along his forehead. "Fuck, your wet Luce."
Everything was a blur to him. Natsu coming to at the mewl that left Lucy lips as he pushed himself into her. He didn't remember yanking his pants down but here he was, blinking back the haze from his vision with his cock halfway into her. "Fuck your tight Luce…" He moaned as he anchored a hand into her messy hair, fisting it into a ponytail and yanking back mercilessly as he pushed himself all the way into her. He chuckled raggedly as he pulled back out and slammed into her, "If only you could see the look on your face right now."
"E-everything's spinning. i'm...dizzy." Lucy panted under him. Her hands reaching back to connect with his thighs.
"Don't vomit Luce, it'll ruin the mood." Natsu growled, "I'll try not to be so rough with you, it'll be bad if you're upset with me but…the thought of seeing your face in the morning when your pussy hurts and you don't know what happened…" he trailed off on a groan. He moved his hand from her hair and shoved between her shoulders hard enough that her chest hit the floor; the pinket kept her lower half up with his other hand and nudged his hips in further till he was pressed hard into her ass and couldn't move forward anymore. Lucy gasped loudly and her hips reflexively rocked back.
"W-wait,"
"Did that feel good Luce?" He punctuated the question with a quick flick to her clit. He relished the scream that left her mouth as she tumbled unexpectedly over the edge. Her trembling made him lose control, her hips involuntarily undulating causing her to grind back against him. Her scream turned into needy sobs as her hips continued to move frantically against him; Natsu couldn't stop himself from the brutal pace he started.
"P-please," Lucy cried out brokenly, "Natsu!"
"Fuck," The drake cursed loudly, "you're actin' like you don't want me to stop."
So, he didn't. He couldn't stop himself even if he wanted too. He didn't give a fuck about the consequences or how she'd feel in the morning when she was sober. He'd been patient long enough. He was entitled to her body…she was his after all.
