A few hours later, two TIE fighters flew away from the destroyed fuel depot as a couple of stormtroopers stood within the burning wreckage of the fuel depot with Pryce, who had her arms behind her back as Lieutenant Lyste walked up to the governor of Lothal.
"Well, what have you found?" Pryce asked Lyste as she sighed and moved her arms away from her back.
"Our com-scans indicate that a stolen gunship escaped the blast, Governor, however, security recordings clearly show that the Jedi Kanan Jarrus has perished," Lyste reported.
"The Jedi is dead," Pryce said with disbelief and shock as she exhaled, "Are you certain?"
"Yes, Governor, but the fuel depot…" Lyste began to say.
"Is not my concern at the moment," she said, interrupting him as she walked away.
"But Governor, with the loss of the fuel depot, production for the TIE Defender will halt," Lyste told her as he followed her.
"Who knows this, besides you and me, Lieutenant?" She asked him.
"At the moment, no one, but it won't be long before Imperial Command realizes what happened," he told her, "What will we do?"
"We throw a parade to celebrate this victory," she answered before walking away from the wreckage.
"Anyway, I also wanted to speak to you about something else as well, Governor Pryce," Lyste told her as he followed her.
"Yes, what is it, Lieutenant?" Pryce asked him.
"I wanted to thank you again for explaining to me why you, Thrawn and Colonel Yularen had me 'arrested' when the Grand Admiral was trying to find out who Fulcrum was and reassigned me to another sector to believe Kallus' story of me being the traitor instead of him before you, Yularen and Thrawn had me reassigned back here on Lothal after Kallus was exposed as Fulcrum," Lyste answered.
"You're welcome, Lieutenant," Pryce told him as they continued to leave the burning wreckage of the fuel depot.
Back at the plains of the rebel base and outside of the cave dwelling, Zeb and Janus walked towards the Imperial patrol transport with Chopper as it began to land near them as Zeb waved at the Imperial patrol transport and soon the cockpit opened up as Sabine, who had her TIE pilot's helmet back over her head removed it from her head and yelled a grunt as she threw it at the ground with anger as it landed in front of Zeb's feet.
"Sabine? What's wrong?" Zeb asked the Mandalorian Jedi Knight as she walked past him, not even answering him, "Sabine!" Janus then looked at the Imperial patrol transport and saw his girlfriend and Hera walking out of the ship with Hera walking away from Satele as Chopper rolled over to Hera as Satele walked away from her and approached her boyfriend.
"What's wrong, Teal'ika?" Janus asked his girlfriend with confusion in his voice, "What's going on? Where's Kanan?"
"Kanan's gone, Jan'ika," she answered.
"What do you mean by gone?" Janus asked him.
"He's dead," she answered, causing him to embrace her in a hug before he tilted her head up towards his as they began to kiss each other passionately as Chopper rolled over to Hera, who was staring at the sunset in the distance and grabbed her left hand with his right metal arm as she clenched her hand into a fist as tears began rolling down her face from her eyes.
"The insurgency on Lothal is over," the HoloNet newscaster, Alton Kastle reported on the radio near the cave on the cliff dwelling with Jai, Ryder, who had his right hand over his chin and the other arm under the elbow of his right arm and Mart as he sat in front of the radio along with a rebel officer standing behind the radio as Zeb, Hera, Chopper, Satele, Sabine and Janus walked towards them as Janus had painted his armor's pauldrons gray for mourning the loss of Kanan, "After a brazen attack on Capital City, the rebels have been crushed. Their leadership, defeated. To honor the Imperial heroes that valiantly fought to save you from these extremists, all citizens are required to attend a celebration and parade in Capital City. A new day for Lothal has begun."
"Turn it off," Sabine ordered before Mart did as she ordered and switched the radio off as he stood up.
"We have to contact rebel command. We need reinforcements," Ryder told them as he approached Satele, Janus and Zeb.
"Well, as far as Yavin is concerned, this fight is over," Satele argued, "Mon Mothma won't commit more forces to Lothal, not after this. Besides Hera told me and Sabine that the Empire has sent an Imperial Elite Clone trooper here to Lothal that she has told me about before named Crosshair when we were escaping the fuel depot when Kanan stayed behind to let us escape."
"I agree, Satele," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend, "At the moment, she won't send more forces to help free Lothal."
"General Syndulla," Ryder called out to the Twi'lek before they all turned to her, "Hera, what do you think?" Hera didn't respond, only walked past them into the cave.
"She just needs time," Satele told him.
"Yeah, I agree, Satele," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend, "Besides, I felt the same way, five years ago when I was 15 when a tragic event happened in my life, Governor."
"Well, we don't have time. We need a plan," Ryder stated.
"Well, I have a plan," Sabine said as she spoke up, "The Empire's gonna have a parade? Good. I'm gonna go add some fireworks to their celebration."
"Count me in," Zeb told her as he walked out of the cliff dwelling with the Mandalorian Jedi Knight.
"Well, what should we do?" Jai asked Satele and Janus before they walked off as they left the cave dwelling as well, while Chopper rolled into the cave that Hera entered.
"There's nothing we can do," Ryder told him, "It's over."
A while later, Satele had her Beskar plates back over her undersuit and dyed her hair back to navy blue with red tips as she was out of her TIE pilot's flight suit with her helmet under her arm as she stood next to Janus, who had his helmet under his arm as well as they watched Zeb and Sabine, who had her Beskar plates back over her undersuit and was out of her TIE pilot's flight suit as well and dyed her hair back to violet and had her helmet over her head as she and Zeb walked towards two speeder bikes and hopped on them before speeding off on them.
"Satele, you want to talk about it?" Janus asked Satele as they left the rebel base as they began walking through the plains of Lothal as they placed their helmets over their heads.
"Not at the moment, Jan'ika," Satele answered, "It's just that I knew him for five years compared to you who only knew him for a year."
"I understand how you are feeling right now, Teal'ika," Janus told her as he hugged her, "Really, I do."
"So you lost Hera Syndulla, yet you hold a parade," a hologram of Thrawn told Pryce with confusion in her office at the Imperial Complex as he was being projected by the holoprojector on her back as he had his arms behind his back with Rukh standing near the holoprojector with his arms crossed as Crosshair and Lyste stood in the room as well with the clone staring at the governor of Lothal with anger and resentment in his eyes as she was staring out the window before turning to the Grand Admiral, "Explain yourself, Governor Pryce."
"A celebration of our victory over the rebels, Grand Admiral," Pryce explained as she approached the hologram of Thrawn, "As for General Syndulla, I have something better."
"Ah, it's true then," Thrawn said as she showed him the lightsaber that belonged to Kanan, "But the Jedi's death came at a cost, did it not?" Pryce's expression then changed to one of shock and disbelief as he knew that she ordered the destruction of one of the fuel pods in the fuel depot, "Did you really believe that holding a parade would hide the fact that you destroyed our entire fuel supply? In defeating Kanan Jarrus, you have accomplished what the rebels failed to, and given them a victory. The operation on Lothal, my TIE Defender project, has been compromised."
"Uh, Grand Admiral, I…" Pryce began to say with fear in her voice.
"I will deal with you when I return, Governor," Thrawn told her, "With their leader gone, the remaining rebels will flounder, the girls especially." Thrawn then turned to his Noghri assassin, "Use that against them, Rukh. Expect them to strike out recklessly. And when they do, eliminate them." He then turned to Crosshair, "And I heard how you handled Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus, Commander."
"Yeah, well if Caleb never had a blaster on him and handed it to Hera Syndulla, they never would've escaped," Crosshair stated.
"I agree, Commander and I'm looking forward to meeting you in person," Thrawn said, agreeing with the clone.
"As am I, Grand Admiral," Crosshair said as the holoprojector switched off with Rukh smirking as he left the room.
"CT-9904, don't," Lyste pleaded with Crosshair as the clone walked over to Pryce.
"I have to, Lieutenant," Crosshair told Lyste before he slammed his fists on Pryce's desk in anger, "You ordered the destruction of one of the fuel pods, Governor! Don't think that will go unpunished by Imperial Command."
"I've done plenty of brutal tactics like that before, Commander," Pryce informed him.
"Yes, but did any of those endanger any of the Empire's projects before?" He asked her as he began arguing with her.
"Well, no, but that…" Pryce stuttered before speaking to him with anger in her voice, "That's irrelevant, Commander! Now go to your barracks and think about what you just did."
"Just to let you know that you made a big mistake by destroying the fuel depot," Crosshair muttered to himself as he and Lyste left Pryce's office with Crosshair going to his barracks and Lyste going to his quarters.
As Crosshair entered his barracks, he grabbed a tablet that had a picture of Hunter, Echo, Tech and Wrecker from the Clone Wars and when they were on the same side as his armor along with theirs were painted black, silver and red with a skull being on some part of their armors with Hunter having black hair and Tech having brown hair as this picture was made before Order 66 was executed and the Republic becoming the Empire before he walked towards his bed and sat down on it as he stared at the picture as he began to cry as he remembered the times he met back up with his former crew members as well as Omega.
"Crosshair, forget the Empire. This isn't you. It's your inhibitor chip. We can help you," he remembered Hunter telling him on Kamino in one of the training rooms as he aimed one of his DC-17s at him with Tech and Echo holding theirs along with Wrecker, who held a DC-17m Repeating Blaster Rifle, while Omega held her Zygerrian energy bow when they were standing behind Hunter in standby after he captured Hunter on Daro when the rest of the Bad Batch rescued their leader during the fall of Tipoca City and just before the Empire began to destroy the Kaminoan city with their Venators' turbolasers.
"Wrong. I had my chip removed a long time ago," he recalled informing Hunter.
"Since when?" He remembered Hunter asking him.
"Does it matter?" He recalled countering Hunter.
"Yes," he remembered Hunter answering him.
"This is who I am," he recalled telling Hunter when he went to aim his modified 773 Firepuncher sniper rifle at him, only to be stunned by one of Hunter's DC-17s.
"You're still their brother, Crosshair. You're my brother too," he remembered Omega telling him when she and him were on the secret landing platform of Tipoca City after the Empire destroyed the Kaminoan city, while Hunter, Echo, Tech, Wrecker and a powered down AZI-3 were on board the Marauder with Hunter standing in the doorway before she and the rest of the Bad Batch left him there before the Empire picked him up.
"What have I done?" Crosshair asked himself as he set the tablet that had the members of his former crew excluding Omega on it on his bed, "I finally see that you guys were right. I'm gonna defect from the Empire sometime soon."
Meanwhile in Lyste's quarters, the Imperial lieutenant was contemplating as he sat on his bed, contemplating on what to do because of what Governor Pryce did to the fuel depot just to kill the rebels before standing back up and walked over to a drawer in his quarters and took out a comlink that looked like the ones that the Jedi, clones and Separatists used during the Clone Wars before activating it as a hologram of Yularen appeared from the comlink.
"Ah, Lieutenant Yogar Lyste," Yularen said, greeting Lyste, "What can I do for you?"
"I'm going to defect from the Empire to the rebels, Colonel, because of Governor Pryce destroying the fuel depot here on Lothal," Lyste answered, causing Yularen to smile.
"I was hoping you would say that, Lieutenant, because that was one of the reasons why I told you that I was Fulcrum and gave you a spare comlink in private when Thrawn, Pryce and I reassigned you back to Lothal after Kallus himself was exposed as Fulcrum besides you seemed like one of the nicest Imperials who have the people's best interests at heart," Yularen told him, "I want you to spy on Pryce whenever you can till you officially defect from the Empire and send the information to me so I could send it rebel command."
"I will do everything in my power that I can when I spy on Pryce to gather information on her for you before I officially defect from the Empire, Colonel," Lyste said with confidence in his voice.
"I look forward to hearing from your report, Lieutenant," Yularen told Lyste before the lieutenant switched off the comlink and placed it back in the drawer before he left his quarters as he began to spy on Pryce for Yularen.
Hera, who was now out of her Imperial prisoner's uniform and was wearing her undersuit as well as her flight suit and goggles over her headdress as she walked back towards the back of the cave near the stone table that Kanan sat in front of with his mask and the knife that he used to cut his hair with sitting on top of the table with Chopper standing nearby as Hera traced her left hand along the paintings on the cave's wall as she held her Kalikori in her right hand.
"Why did I wait so long to tell him?" Hera asked herself as she placed her left hand over her face, "I just… I thought there would be more time." She then sighed as she began to cry quietly as she sat down on the floor as Chopper grunted as he rolled up to her, "You don't understand! If I had listened to Kanan, he would be alive. He said starting a war was a mistake, and he was right. He was right, and now, he's gone." She then moved her right arm over her lap, "And it's my fault. I was the one who was blind." Chopper then grunted a response as he saw what she was holding in her hand, "The Kalikori? Kanan found it. In the middle of everything else going on, he knew how much this meant to me. He rescued me and my family history." Chopper then grunted yet again before she placed her left hand over the back side of his dome as they leaned closer to each other, "You're right. No one deserves that honor more than Kanan."
"So, what do you see?" Zeb asked Sabine, who had her helmet removed from her head and had a pair of macrobinoculars over her eyes looking out at Capital City as they both laid on their stomachs on a cliff overlooking Capital City.
"Well, the parade has begun," she said before removing the pair of macrobinoculars from her eyes as she handed them to Zeb, "But, look at it, Zeb. Look how many people there are." He then placed the pair of macrobinoculars over his eyes, "Look how much the Empire has grown."
"Isn't that why we're here?" He asked her as he removed the pair of macrobinoculars from his eyes, "To reduce their numbers."
"We couldn't beat them with the help of the Rebel Alliance," Sabine scoffed, "And there are so few of us left. I mean, how can we beat them now?"
"You don't see anything strange about the city?" Zeb asked her as he handed the macrobinoculars back to her.
"Uh, besides the refinery being on fire?" Sabine asked him as she placed the pair of macrobinoculars back over her eyes.
"The factories aren't belching smoke," Zeb told her, "When was the last time you saw them shut down?"
"Never, but that's probably because of the parade," she answered as she removed the pair of macrobinoculars from her eyes again.
"The Empire doesn't give days off, Sabine," Zeb reminded her.
"Huh. Now that is interesting," she said as she got up and walked away from the cliff overlooking Capital City with Zeb.
"Satele, do you want to talk about Kanan's death yet?" Janus asked Satele as they continued to walk around the plains of Lothal, "You know you'll have to talk about it eventually."
"Fine," Satele relented as she and Janus sat down on a round Lothalian mound nearby and removed her helmet from her head and placed it under her arm, "It's just that me and him became close after I got over my grudge against Jedi. And that he was one of the only people besides Sabine who would help me with my problems before I met you on Krownest last year when I joined the Mandalorian Resistance last year, Jan'ika."
"But Satele, he went out like a warrior like us and sacrificed himself for those he cared about, that being you, Sabine and Hera," Janus reminded her as he removed his helmet from his head and placed it under his arm as well.
"I know, Janus, it's just that I miss him, and he never even got to finish my training and knight me like he did with Sabine," Satele told him.
"I'm pretty sure, he would've done it sometime soon if he survived, Teal'ika," Janus assured her.
On a highway near Capital City, a scout trooper was patrolling the area as he walked around the area with his 614-AvA speeder bike behind him and placed a pair of macrobinoculars over his helmet's visor when he suddenly felt someone tap him on his left shoulder and turned around to see Zeb, who immediately punched him in the helmet, knocking him unconscious as he walked backwards and fell onto the road and on his back as Zeb past Sabine, who had her helmet back over her head and her right hand over her hip.
"I needed that," Zeb said as he cracked his knuckles, chuckling as Sabine walked towards the speeder bike as she removed her hand from her hip and pulled out a device from one of her armor's bags and inserted it into the speeder bike before it began to beep as she pulled out a datapad.
"Connecting to the Imperial network in three, two, one," Sabine announced as the datapad she was holding beeped as the datapad connected to the Imperial network, "I'm in."
"So?" Zeb asked her.
"The TIE Defender factory was shut down. It took serious damage when the fuel depot blew up," Sabine answered before removing her helmet from her head, "Zeb, Kanan didn't just save us. He completed the mission."
"Then why is the Empire celebrating?" Zeb asked her with confusion in his voice as he crossed his arms.
"I'll bet because Pryce doesn't want anyone to know," Sabine surmised as she held her helmet under her arm, "Instead of admitting we hurt them…"
"She sent all their workers to a parade," Zeb finished for her, "So, what's next?"
"The Empire and us, we're not even yet," Sabine answered as she pulled out a thermal detonator from one of her armor's bags.
A while later on the highway, Rukh sniffed as he hovered over the scout trooper that Zeb knocked out as he regained consciousness, catching the scout trooper off guard as he gasped in surprise and began to back away from the Noghri.
"Sorry, uh, sir. I was attacked," the scout trooper told Rukh as he crawled and backed away from Rukh as he continued to sniff over the scout trooper, while two stormtroopers stood in front of his 614-AvA speeder bike, "It was so fast, like a blur."
"Be silent," Rukh ordered the scout trooper.
"Sir?" The scout trooper said as he called out to Rukh.
"Uh, this comm has been tampered with," one of the stormtroopers that was standing in front of the scout trooper's speeder bike announced as he removed the device that Sabine placed inside of the speeder bike earlier to tap into the Imperial network before Rukh turned to him as he noticed a thermal detonator placed on the speeder bike as it began to beep before it exploded, blowing up the speeder bike and killing the two stormtroopers around the speeder bike.
"Hmm, that was fast," Sabine noted as she and Zeb sat on their speeder bikes on a cliff near the highway, watching the explosion from the cliff.
"Well, you wanted to send a message," Zeb recalled as he chuckled.
"I can do better than… wait," Sabine told him as she placed her pair of macrobinoculars back over her eyes again and saw Rukh standing at the explosion in front of the destroyed speeder bike, "What is that?"
"What is what?" Zeb asked her, "Let me see." He then placed the pair of macrobinoculars from her and placed them over his eyes again, "Ugh. Looks like a baby Rancor."
"Wait a minute. Satele told us about that thing," Sabine said, recalling what Satele told her and the others when they were installing the TIE Defender Elite's Hyperdrive into Ryder's U-wing.
"You're right. I remember now," Zeb said as he now remembered Rukh, "When we were recovering that Hyperdrive, that thing came sniffling over to us." He then placed the pair of macrobinoculars over his eyes again as Rukh noticed this and looked at them, scaring Zeb, "Ah! It looked right at me!"
"Did it see you?" Sabine asked him.
"I don't know!" He answered.
"Well, look and see," she told him.
"I don't want to," he protested, "It's got creepy eyes."
"Oh, give me those," Sabine said as she took the pair of macrobinoculars from him and placed them over her eyes and saw Rukh walking towards them, "Oh, boy, it's coming this way."
"What?!" Zeb exclaimed with shock in his voice before taking the pair of macrobinoculars from her and placed them over his eyes again, "Let me see. Ugh. You're right. And the closer it gets, the uglier it gets." He then removed the pair of macrobinoculars from his eyes again as he turned to the Mandalorian Jedi Knight beside him, "But…"
"But what?" She asked him.
"At least it's alone," he told her.
"What do you mean?" She asked him.
"I mean, we can even the score. They took Kanan from us. We can take something from them," he explained.
"I agree with you, only because we can't let it track us back to base," she told him, "Now since we outnumber it, let's use that to our advantage." With that said, they took off on their speeder bikes.
"Calm down, Satele," Janus urged his girlfriend as he stood near her as she was still sitting down on the round Lothalian mound in Lothal's wilderness with a few normal shaped Lothalian mound-like structures behind them, "You didn't know the Empire would take Kanan from us."
"You don't know what it's like, Janus! I just lost my father-figure, mentor and master," Satele argued.
"Actually, I do, Teal'ika," Janus stated, "I lost both of my parents and my siblings to the Empire by Governor Gar Saxon of Mandalore in order for me to comply with the Imperial occupation of our home planet of Mandalore when I was a teenager, while I was always secretly supporting the Rebellion."
"Your master, Kanan Jarrus will always be with you, Satele Wren," they suddenly heard a familiar voice as a familiar middle-aged woman with pale skin that was a bit tanned and blackish hair appeared behind Satele but unlike before they were transparent and emitting a blue glow and this was none other than Satele and Sabine's distant ancestor, Satele Shan as she walked towards her, "And your boyfriend is correct. You didn't know that the Empire would take Kanan from you and your crew."
"Ancestor?" Satele said with shock and confusion, "How are you here? You've been dead for millennia."
"I was wondering the same thing, Grandmaster Shan of the Jedi Order," Janus said, agreeing with Satele.
"Because before I died, I learned to retain consciousness after death to become a Force Ghost. Which is an ability that was lost for centuries till a Jedi of your era rediscovered the ability but never finished their training while they were still alive and finished it after they died, Qui-Gon Jinn," Shan explained, "And within time, I'll teach you and your sister to retain your consciousnesses after death as well."
"Why are you here?" Satele asked her as Shan sat down on the round Lothalian mound beside her.
"To help comfort you from losing your master, like I had to back when I was a Padawan near the planet formerly known as Korriban and now known as Moraband," Shan explained.
"I'd love to hear how you lost your master," Satele told her.
"Me too," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend.
"The story begins 3,661 years ago on a space station in the beginning year of the Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire," Shan told them as she began to tell them how she lost her master, "So, that's how I lost my master, Kao Cen Darach to the Sith Lord known as Malgus."
"Well, then if you quickly got over how you lost your master, Ancestor, then so can I," Satele said as she began to let go of losing her master.
"Wow, it took your ancestor to calm down, Satele," Janus told her with surprise.
"Well, she is Force-Sensitive and a Jedi after all," Satele explained, "And I first met her when I got my first Kyber Crystal here on Lothal when I was 16."
"Then, it looks like you've passed your final test, Satele," Shan told her Mandalorian descendent.
"What final test?" Satele and Janus both asked her at the same time.
"This," Shan answered as she produced a double-bladed lightsaber out of thin air and ignited it with a yellow colored blade coming out of one of the lightsaber's hilts, "Kneel."
"Why?" Satele asked her with confusion in her voice.
"Just do as she says, Teal'ika," Janus urged his girlfriend before she stood up and kneeled down before Shan.
"By the right of the council," Shan said as she hovered her lightsaber's blade over the right pauldron of Satele's armor before moving and hovering it over the left pauldron of Satele's armor, "By the will of the Force," she then hovered her lightsaber's blade over Satele's head, "Satele Wren, you may rise."
"Wait, what just happened?" Satele asked her with confusion as Shan deactivated her lightsaber's blade as it vanished out of her hand.
"I just knighted you, Satele," Shan explained, "You'll need it for what is to come."
"I'm a Jedi Knight now?" Satele said with shock and disbelief in her voice, "Wait, you said I needed it for what is to come. What is to come?"
"I'll let them explain it for me," Shan told them as three more Force Ghosts appeared behind her with two of them being men with light skin and brown eyes with one of them having dark brown hair as well as a beard and was wearing armor that was predominately black and red with black Jedi robes over the armor but had circular marks and lines all over his face and this man was none other than the famed Jedi turned Sith and turned Jedi yet again known as Revan and the other man had black hair as well as a beard and was wearing blue and silver Beskar armor that had a black cape as well as a helmet that showed his face and he was Tarre Vizsla, while the female was middle-aged, had fair skin, gray hair and eyes, wearing Jedi robes and she was none other than Bastila Shan, wife of Revan and distant ancestor of Satele and Sabine.
Rukh, who was riding a speeder bike approached Zeb as he skidded the speeder bike to a stop, rotating it around as he got off of the speeder bike and grabbed his electrostaff from his back and swung it around as he stabbed it into the ground next to him, while Zeb held his bo-rifle in his hand as he stood across from him.
They then charged at one another, striking their staff and bo-rifle at one another with Zeb evading Rukh's attacks, while up above Sabine stood in between two Lothalian mound-like structures as she had her helmet over her head as her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate's rangefinder flipped down before flipping it back up as she jumped down behind Rukh as the Noghri walked towards Zeb.
"We're not in the mood for a fair fight today," Sabine told the Noghri assassin as she grabbed her lightsaber from her armor's belt and ignited its blue blade.
"Neither am I, Mando Jedi," Rukh told the Mandalorian Jedi Knight as he placed his electrostaff on his back and pressed a button on a device that was on his wrist before he turned invisible as he began to punch Zeb without being seen.
"I can't see him," Zeb said as Rukh continued to punch him, causing him to drop his Bo-rifle as Rukh wasn't being seen by anyone.
"I can sense where he is, Zeb, follow my attacks," Sabine said as she deactivated her lightsaber and clipped it back onto her armor's belt as she went to charge at him and punched him with Zeb doing the same before he punched her in the stomach and did the same to Zeb before he climbed up one of the Lothalian mound-like structures surrounding them beeping leaping towards her, knocking her helmet off of her head as he fell to the floor before he went to punch Zeb again as he evaded the Lasat's punches before he soon placed both of his arms around his neck as he began to choke him, but luckily for Zeb, Sabine went to kick Rukh, only for the Noghri to grab her by the arm, bending it before pushing her towards Zeb as he left the area.
"Who are the other two Force Ghosts, Ancestor?" Satele asked Shan as she stared at Revan and Bastila, "I know the one wearing Beskar is one of my and Janus' distant ancestors, Tarre Vizsla."
"Those are two of your other Jedi ancestors, Satele with one of them being my Great-Great-Great-Great-Great grandfather, Revan and his wife, Bastila Shan," Shan answered.
"We've been waiting to meet you for a long time, Satele," Revan said as he walked up to her.
"And I thank the both of you along with your sister and brother, Satele for freeing the statue of me last year," Tarre told Satele as he removed his helmet and placed it under his arms.
"No problem, Manda'lor," Satele said as she smiled at the founder of Clan and House Vizsla.
"Let's cut the chit chat, you two," Bastila told Revan and Tarre as she walked up to Satele, "We're here to warn the two of you that the Jedi temple here on Lothal is in danger. And you remember what happened the last time you were there, Satele."
Sabine and Zeb stood back to back against each other as they both stood in fighting stances as Sabine pulled out one of her paint bombs as Rukh reappeared even though he was still invisible as he punched Zeb in the back before she sensed him and turned around as she rushed over to the Noghri and punched him, only for Ruh to knock her to the ground as he stood in front of her near one of the Lothalian mound-like structures behind him as Sabine soon grabbed him by the neck as she stood back up and began to knee him in the stomach and soon knocked her to the ground and turned back towards Zeb, while unbeknownst to him that she planted one of her paint bombs on the back of his neck as Sabine clicked a button on her armor's control pad before the paint bomb started beeping before exploding, causing yellow paint from inside the paint bomb to appear on Rukh.
"Can you see him now?" Sabine asked Zeb.
"Oh, yeah," Zeb answered, chuckling as he approached Rukh and picked him up before running towards one of the Lothalian mound-like structures nearby and slammed him into it and proceeded to punch him in the head, "This… is…"
"Zeb, stop!" Sabine ordered the Lasat as she rushed over to him.
"For Kanan!" Zeb went on as he continued to punch the Noghri assassin.
"Zeb, Zeb! Stop!" Sabine ordered Zeb as she reached him.
"I thought you wanted to get even," Zeb reminded her as Rukh fell unconscious.
"I do, but this isn't how we do it," she told him.
"But what are we gonna do with him now?" He asked her.
"I've got an idea," she answered as she took out her airbrush from one of her armor's bags and began to spray Rukh with it.
"That's where it all went wrong," Satele stated as she looked at Bastila, "Me, Sabine, Ahsoka and Kanan went there a few weeks before he was blinded by a Sith Lord known as Maul and was the ruler of our people when we were toddlers. But the four of us accidently led the Empire to the temple. We escaped, but they captured it."
"There is danger there," Tarre explained as he pulled out a stone plaque with the Force that had hands making three different gestures on top of the stone plaque with one of them being firm and open, another one being relaxed and open and the third one being closed like a fist with all three of of the hands being encircled by circular designs.
"Where is this from, Manda'lor?" Janus asked Tarre.
"It's a stone plaque from the Jedi temple here on Lothal, Janus," Tarre explained.
"It has secrets within that the Emperor has ordered to exacavate for the secrets within," Revan added.
"For what purpose?" Janus asked him.
"Even that knowledge eludes us," Bastila answered, "But what we do know is that the knowledge that he seeks inside is that he will use for an evil purpose and some of the knowledge within could lead to destruction."
"Ahsoka told me, Sabine and Kanan, that we'd find knowledge in the Sith temple on Malachor," Satele told them, "But we were wrong, that's when everything changed."
"Well, then whenever you choose to go there you could restore what happened when you, your sister, Kanan and Ahsoka went to Malachor," Shan said as she walked up to her, "And we have one more thing to show you before we go back to the cosmic Force for a while." A giant Loth-Wolf with gray hair with white markings that resembled what Kanan had on his shoulder pauldron before they returned from Malachor three years ago on his head with blue eyes suddenly appeared next to her and began petting it, "This is Dume. He contains the last remnants of your master within him and was manifested through the Force."
"Does that mean he could one day retain his consciousness and come back to the living Force," Satele asked her.
"Once the last remnants of your master disappears back into the cosmic Force, we will start his training to become a Force Ghost and come back to the living Force, so you could see him again," Shan answered, "Anyways, it's time for me and your other Jedi ancestors part ways."
"Till we meet again, Ancestor," Satele told Shan.
"Agreed, till we meet again, Satele," Shan replied as she and the three other Force Ghosts vanished back into the cosmic Force with Dume vanishing as well.
"Come on, Janus," Satele told her boyfriend as she turned to him as they placed their helmets back over their heads, "Let's get back to base. Oh, and don't forget about the stone plaque from the Jedi temple."
"So, you're a Jedi Knight now, Satele," Janus said, teasingly to his girlfriend as he picked up the stone plaque.
"I know, Jan'ika," Satele giggled as they began to head back to the Lothal resistance group's base.
"I always did like your and Satele's art," Zeb told Sabine as he dragged Rukh, whose skin was painted with some purple, yellow and orange on it as the device on his wrist was deactivated as he wasn't invisible anymore.
"Thanks," Sabine said as he placed Rukh on his speeder bike's seat and powered up the speeder bike's engine, "I think this is the best message we can send to the Empire right now." He then kicked the speeder bike forward as Sabine turned to him, "Hey, you set the homing beacon, right?"
"Well, yeah, I think I did," he answered.
"Zeb," she said as she knew he was lying.
"No, I did," he assured her as they walked away from Rukh's speeder bike, "I did."
"Unbelievable," she muttered, "Did you just see how much I worked on that thing?"
"For Kanan, so he'll always be remembered as part of my family," Hera said as she placed a piece of what was Kanan's holocron onto the right section of her Kalikori after placing it on the stone table as Chopper stood next to her, "You know, Chop, despite all his misgivings about the rebellion, he always believed we could change things." Chopper then grunted a response, "That's what I'll miss the most, that when none of us could find the answer, Kanan could, and always in the most unexpected way." She then began to walk away from her Kalikori and the stone table.
"Hera?" Sabine said, calling out to the Twi'lek as she and Zeb walked towards the cliff dwellings with her helmet under her arm, "Hera?"
"Was your mission a success?" Hera asked her as she left the cave with Chopper.
"No, but yours was. The TIE Defender factories have shut down. We didn't fail, Hera. Kanan made sure of it," Sabine answered, "In their attempt to destroy us, the Empire blew up their own refinery."
"They have no fuel for the factories. Their entire production line has stopped," Zeb added.
"Then we have a chance. We can still beat them," Hera stated.
"And we know what our first mission is," they all heard Satele say as they turned around to see her and Janus with their helmets under their arms as Janus held the stone plaque from the Jedi temple under his other arm, "The Jedi temple is in danger."
"And we think it has to do with what Minister Tua told you guys all those years ago when she was defecting from the Empire and had her assassinated," Janus added, agreeing with his girlfriend as he showed Sabine, Zeb and Hera the stone plaque.
"We're the only ones who can do anything about it," Satele told her sister and the others.
