EPOV
I drove around for what felt like hours until I found myself here.
Sitting in a parking lot staring at her apartment.
At least she was home now.
That's what I wanted to believe.
Or maybe she left every light on.
I wasn't sure about anything anymore.
I just knew no matter what happened I always found myself here.
With her.
Wherever she could be found.
It was like a magnetic force that pulled me to her.
Slowly, I exited the car.
"Edward…."
"Bella, this isn't your decision," I reminded her as I pulled her close to me.
I let the flowery scent of her shampoo wash over me.
It was as soothing to me as the heavy thud of her heart against my hand.
"You're being stupid though," she muttered as she twisted in my arms to face me. The moon light was bright in our bedroom, bathing her in sliver light that gave her an ethereal glow.
She absolutely took my breath away.
"I'm being stupid," I repeated with a slight grin, enjoying her feistiness as it had been what felt like ages since I had seen her ire.
"Edward," she murmured as she brought her hand up to trace along my jaw. It was a simple, yet intimate touch that never failed to make my heart pound within my chest.
"Your dad may be an asshole, but you have an opportunity here that few get. You would be dumb not to take advantage of it," she said in a soothing tone as I closed my eyes and leaned into her touch.
"It's just money, Bella," I sighed as I felt her run her fingers through my hair just how she knew I loved.
"Spoken like a guy who has never been without," she snorted soft causing me to open one eye to look at her.
"Baby, it's only a little delay, and that delay is even shorter with our marriage," I sighed as I met her annoyed gaze with a smile.
"It's just a delay," she mimicked me earning a laugh.
"Just a delay coming from the guy that hired a tutor for his English Lit class because his B average in there wasn't high enough and he was worried about getting into the college of engineering," she said as I soothed a hand over the enticing curve of her hip.
"Best decision I ever made," I murmured with a grin as she gave a weak run down of how we connected. My hands smoothed up over her hip to the outer curve of her breast. I listened to her breathing hitch in response to my touch.
"Edward, don't be dumb. Take the money," she groused as her touch trailed down my neck and on to my shoulder.
"And make the Great Carlisle Cullen happy? Hell no," I snorted before leaning in to steal a soft kiss. She was quick to respond, meeting me with heat and a soft sigh.
