Chapter 4: Keyblade and Excalibur
In a town that's a plaza with some shops and a night sky with many stars, Donald and Goofy arrive at the town and are wearing different outfits.
Goofy is now wearing a green sweater with a black sleeveless vest over it, yellow pants white gloves, brown shoes, and a big yellow-orange hat with red small goggles.
Donald is now wearing a blue beret with a zipper on it, blue jacket with a small light blue cape, and yellow rings on his wrists.
As the two are walking down the plaza, Goofy looks up at the night sky, making Donald also stop.
"What is it, Goofy?" Donald asked.
"Look! Two stars are goin' out!" Goofy said, pointing at two stars disappearing, shocking them both.
"C'mon, let's hurry!" Donald said, as they continue moving.
(World of Traverse Town)
"Where's that key and where's that legendary sword?" Donald asked, crossing his arms.
"Hey, ya know, we oughta go find Leon and Titania." Goofy said.
As they keep moving, Pluto goes for the plaza's alley, making Goofy stop.
"Um, Donald, I betcha that…" Goofy was cut off.
"Oh, what do you know, ya big plaooka?" Donald asked, waving off Goofy and keeps walking the opposite direction.
"Uh, what do I know? C'mon, Pluto!" Goofy called, following Donald.
In the alley, Pluto is sniffing around and he finds a pile of crates and later finds someone, who turns out to be an unconscious boy and the boy is Sora, who is sleeping against the wall, so Pluto licks his face to wake the spiky-haired boy up.
"What a dream…" Sora said groggily and falls asleep, only for Pluto to pounce on the boy's chest, making Sora wake up completely. "It wasn't a dream!" Sora said, looking around. "Where am I? Oh, boy…" Sora sees Pluto and bends down to the dog. "Do you know where we are?" Sora asked, but Pluto lifts his ear, hearing something and runs off. "Hey!" Sora called.
Sora follows after Pluto and later arrives at the twon's plaza.
"This is weird… I'm in another world!" Sora said.
(Field Theme: Traverse Town)
(First District)
(Information: Explore the town!)
Sora explores the plaza while seeing many people and finds a big shop that says 'Accessory Shop' and decides to go in.
(Accessory Shop)
Sora enters the shop, where he finds a middle-aged man with blond hair, wearing a white shirt, blue pants, goggles, and has a toothpick in his mouth standing behind a counter.
"Hey, how can I…" The man stops talking, seeing Sora. "Oh, it's only a kid." The man said.
"I'm not a kid! My name's Sora!" Sora said irritated.
"Okay, okay, simmer down. So, why the long face, Sora? You lost?" The man asked.
"No… Well, maybe. Where are we?" Sora asked.
"Huh?" The man asked confused.
Sora begins explaining what happened.
"Well, that's a stinker. Anyway, yer in Traverse Town." The man said.
"Traverse Town… So, gramps, is this a new world?" Sora asked.
"Don't call me gramps! The name's Cid!" Cid introduced annoyed. "Anyway, I dunno what yer talkin' about, but it sure ain't yer island." Cid said.
"Hmm, I guess I better find Riku and Kairi." Sora said.
"Well, good luck with whatever yer doin'. If you run into trouble, come talk to me. I got yer back." Cid said.
"Okay, thanks." Sora said, leaving the shop.
Meanwhile in what looks like a tavern, a boy with blond hair, green eyes, wearing a white undershirt and black vest over it, and red tie is behind a counter, cleaning glasses.
"Hey, HEY!" A voice shouted, as something comes bursting into the tavern and it's a pink pig with a clover like symbol on his flank, running frantically into the tavern.
"Whoa, Hawk! Calm down! What's up?" The boy asked.
"Okay, okay. So, I was going for a walk when I saw a boy falling from the sky!" Hawk said.
"A boy fallin' from the sky? You sure you're not making this up?" The boy asked.
"I'm being serious! He crashed to the ground and when I came to check on him, he wasn't moving!" Hawk said.
"Not moving, huh? Show me." The boy said.
Outside, a small red furred fox kit wearing a black collar is walking around a district, looking sad, but then, he finds a pile of broken crates, so the fox goes to the broken crates to look around.
"There! That's where he fell!" A voice said and it's Hawk, making the fox run off, as both Hawk and the boy arrives at the pile of broken crates.
"Really?" The boy asked, going for the pile of crates and examines them to find someone unconscious and it's another boy, who happens to be Arthur. "Huh, so this is the boy you were talking about?" The boy asked.
"Yes!" Hawk said.
"Hmm, too bad he's not a girl. Woulda been better." The boy said.
"Now's not the time for that! He needs medical attention!" Hawk berated.
"You're right, you're right, calm down. Let's get him inside." The boy said, taking Arthur.
They return to the tavern and go for a room, where the boy places Arthur on a bed.
"So, how'd he fall from the sky like that?" The boy asked.
"How should I know? I just saw him fall." Hawk said.
"Well, hope he's not hurt too badly. No one just falls from the sky randomly." The boy said.
"You don't think he's dead, do you?" Hawk asked, but Arthur starts to open his eyes and looks around the room. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! HE'S ALREADY RISEN FROM THE DEAD!" Hawk shouted.
"Oh, calm down, ya scaredy pig. He's just coming to." The boy said.
"Ugh, my head… What happened? Where am I?" Arthur asked.
"You fell from the sky, that's what happened." Hawk said.
"Huh? Oh, a talking pig. And I thought Archimedes was the only talking animal. So, where am I exactly?" Arthur asked.
"You're in Boar Hat! A fine drinking establishment in town!" The boy said.
"Um, who's the owner? Where is he?" Arthur asked.
"You're lookin' at him." The boy said.
"You? You actually own a tavern?" Arthur asked.
"Is that weird?" The boy asked.
"Not really, I guess. You just look about my age." Arthur said, but his stomach starts growling. "Oooh, I'm hungry of all times…" Arthur said., rubbing his stomach.
"Let's get ya downstairs. I'll make ya somethin'." The boy said.
(Boar Hat)
They're now at the bar area of Boar Hat and Arthur is sitting at the bar's counter while thinking about what happened in Camelot.
"How'd all this happen to me? All I remember was being in my room and…" Arthur stops talking and realizes. "That's right! There was a storm, then shadowy things appeared, Morgan attacked, someone named Ruber tried to kill Uncle Merlin, someone helped me escape, then there was that sword from the stone, and then Uncle Merlin made a portal to send me away! But why'd all this have to happen? Why am I here?" Arthur asked in his mind.
"Hey, I made ya a meal. Dig in." The boy said, setting a plate of food on the counter.
"First, you found me unconscious, then you brought me here, and now you're providing food for me? I don't even know what to say." Arthur said.
"Judging from what happened to ya, I'd imagine you had a rough time." The boy said, as Arthur starts eating the food. "Pretty bad, huh? Not many people here like the food." The boy said.
"It's… not really bad." Arthur said, still eating the food.
"Wow, he hasn't even vomited yet. No scraps for me." Hawk said.
"So, ya got a name?" The boy asked.
"I'm War… Arthur. Um, when I asked where we are, I sorta asked where in general." Arthur said.
"Oh, well, we're in Traverse Town. Guess you could call this a 'hub' sort of place." The boy said.
"Huh?" Arthur asked.
"See this town is where people go to when they've lost their worlds and have no place left to go." The boy said.
"That's…horrible." Arthur said.
"Tell me about it. When people come here, they sometimes reminisce of how they miss their worlds and wish there was someway to go back." The boy said.
"So, tell me, sir. Are we in a different 'world'?" Arthur asked.
"Ya don't have to call me 'sir'. Call me Meliodas and yeah, this is pretty much a different world. So, where're you from, Artie?" Meliodas asked.
"A-Artie…?" Arthur asked, remembering Lancelot calling him Artie.
"Yeah, it's short for Arthur and I think it's better than Arthur. People oughta call you that. So, what world you're from?" Meliodas asked.
"I'm from Camelot. I was sent here because Uncle Merlin brought me here." Arthur said.
"Merlin, huh?" Meliodas asked.
"Um, thanks for your kindess and hospitality, Mr. Meliodas, but I need to explore the town." Arthur said.
"You sure you wanna go out on your own? It's pretty dangerous." Meliodas said.
"I won't be long, but I just need to see what kind of town I'm in." Arthur said.
"Okay. If ya wanna go, I won't stop ya. Just promise me this; if things get hairy, come back here. I got your back." Meliodas said.
"I will. Thanks." Arthur said, leaving Boar Hat.
Meanwhile, Sora leaves the First District and finds big doors, so he opens them, taking him to different place.
(Second District)
Sora is at a different district, but then, he sees someone running and it's a man, who falls and something comes out of his chest, which is a glowing orb, which happens to be his heart. The heart goes for an orb of darkness, as the man vanishes and the heart transforms into a monster with yellow eyes, dark blue body, big red claws, brown curved boots, white armored helmet, and a black heart symbol with red jagged lines crossing the heart and the creature disappears.
"What was that?" Sora asked, but then, many shadows appear and surround Sora. "Those creatures from my island!" Sora said, as his key sword appears, as he's ready to fight.
(Battle Theme: Night of Fate)
(Information: Fight the creatures!)
The shadows deliver leaping attacks at Sora, who vertical slashes with his key sword followed by a spin slash and tries to get the other shadows, who disappear into the ground and slither all over while more shadows surround Sora to attack. Sora manages to roundhouse slash at the surrounding shadows and they all vanish into black mist.
"I need to hurry and find Riku and Kairi." Sora said, as he keeps going.
Meanwhile, Arthur leaves Boar Hat and finds himself outside and sees many buildings.
"Wow, this is much bigger than the village. This place IS different." Arthur said.
(Fourth District)
(Information: Explore the town!)
Arthur begins exploring the fourth district, but then, Arthur hears a yelp, making him stop.
"Someone might be in trouble." Arthur said.
(Information: Find the source of the yelp!)
Arthur moves through the fourth district to see where the yelping is coming from and as Arthur is trying to find the source of the yelp, he hears the yelp getting louder, as Arthur is getting close to a broken crate. Arthur follows the sound of the yelp while getting close to the broken crate, where he sees many shadows around the crate and attacking it. In a hole of the broken crate is the same red fox shivering in fear, as the shadows are trying to get to it and Arthur sees the fox.
"Oh, no! They're bullying that poor fox!" Arthur said, confronting the shadows while taking out the sword off his back. "H-Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" Arthur yelled, making the shadows stop attacking and turn to see the blond.
(Information: Fight off the shadows!)
The shadows sink into the ground and slither around while the other shadows attack with their claws, only for Arthur to avoid them and swings his sword followed by a vertical slash, but a shadow sneaks behind to attack, getting the blond. Arthur recovers himself and horizontal slashes with his sword followed by a spin slash, but the shadows sink into the ground again and try to attack with their claws, only for Arthur to block and counterattack with two swings and the shadows disappear in dark mist.
With the shadows gone, Arthur goes for the broken crate and kneels to the hole.
"It's okay, little guy. They're gone. You can come out." Arthur said, as the fox slowly pops his head out of the hole of the crate. "It's okay. You're safe. I won't hurt you, I promise." Arthur said, offering his hand, making the fox hesitant at first, but places his paw on Arthur's hand and Arthur lifts the fox. "I promise you'll be much safer with me than all by yourself." Arthur said, as the fox licks Arthur's face, making him laugh a little. "You're cute. I'm glad you're okay." Arthur said, as the fox licks the blond's face again. "So, you got a name?" Arthur asked, as he sees the fox's black collar and it says 'Tod'. "Tod… Okay, Tod. My name's Arthur. I'll take good care of you. What do you say we take a look around town?" Arthur asked, making the fox nod.
Arthur and Tod continue moving through the fourth district, as they keep moving, they hear a scream.
"What was that?" Arthur asked, looking around and Tod points at something running.
They see what looks like a lavender unicorn with wings, dark violet mane and tail with streaks of pink and light purple, and a mark that has five small white stars surrounding a bigger magenta star on her flank running from a swarm of shadows.
"Oh, no! That poor creature's in trouble too!" Arthur said and Tod nods.
The winged unicorn keeps running away through the district and arrives at an alleyway, only to find a dead end, making her stop and turns to see a swarm of shadows coming her way. Someone approaches from the swarm of shadows and it's a boy, who appears to be ten-years-old with white hair, three freckles on each cheek, and wearing black and blue armor with a red X in the middle of the armor, blue gauntlets, blue armored boots, and a black cape with a red star and black eye.
"Hehehe! Nowhere else to go, li'l pony!" The boy said.
"Stay away rom me!" The winged unicorn yelled.
"Come off it already! I heard that a pony managed to survive her world's destruction and yer the only one I'm lookin' at!" The boy said.
"So what?! Just leave me alone!" The winged unicorn yelled.
"Oh, no can do! Yer comin' with me!" The boy said.
Arthur and Tod arrive at the alleyway to see the winged unicorn backing away from the boy and the shadows.
"Oh, no! We gotta do something!" Arthur said and the fox nods.
"Just face it! Yer cornered! No one's gonna help ya! Now, make yerself easy and…" The boy was cut off, as something bites his leg. "What in tarnation?!" The boy asked, looking at Tod biting his right leg and growling. "You filthy animal! Get offa me!" The boy yelled, shaking his right leg to get the fox off and manages to kick the fox off his leg. "You disgusting little vermin! I'll squash you right now!" The boy yelled, but a rock hits his head. "Who did that?!" The boy demanded, looking at Arthur, who is holding another small rock.
"Leave them alone!" Arthur yelled.
"Just who're you?! I don't have time to deal with garbage like you! Git on outta here!" The boy yelled.
"I said…get away!" Arthur yelled.
"I don't have time fer this! Shadows, git 'em outta my sight!" The boy commanded, as the swarm of shadows become a giant tower.
"Oh, boy…" Arthur said, backing away, but takes out his sword. "Guess I gotta fight!" Arthur said.
(Boss Theme: Hunter of the Dark)
(Information: Fend off the Demon Tower!)
The shadow tower known as Demon Tower swirls around the alleyway, getting Arthur, who tries to dodge, but the swirling attack gets Arthur, who recovers and triple slashes at Demon Tower with his sword followed by a double roundhouse slash. Demon Tower separates itself and there are many shadows surrounding the blond and the shadows try to attack, but Tod bashes most of them with a stick in his mouth while Arthur destroys the rest with his sword. Demon reforms and spins all over, trying to get at Arthur, who dodges, but Demon Tower rises to the sky and dives down at the blond, who dodges the diving attack and slashes Demon Tower with his sword followed by a big spin attack to deal damage. Demon Tower separates into many shadows again and they try to attack at Arthur again, only for Tod to strike with his stick, destroying some of them while Arthur handles the rest of the shadows, making Demon Tower reform and swirls around the alleyway to get Arthur again, but Arthur dodges and delivers a swinging attack followed by a rising slash.
Demon Tower spins uncontrollably and they separate, but they dive down at Arthur, who braces himself, only for magenta energy to catch the shadows in the air.
"Huh?" Arthur asked, turning to see the winged unicorn using her horn to keep the shadows afloat.
"I'll hold them off! Take the fox and go!" The winged unicorn said.
"N-No! I don't wanna leave you!" Arthur said, slashing many shadows, destroying them.
"No! My minion!" The boy cried.
"Enough is enough! Now leave us alone!" Arthur yelled.
"Ugh! This ISN'T over! No one messes with Li'l Gideon Gleeful and gets away with it! HEARTLESS, COME!" Gideon shouted, as many more shadows appear and surround the three.
"There's too many to handle…" The winged unicorn said.
"SWARM 'EM!" Gideon commanded, as the shadows swarm the three.
Arthur, Tod, and the winged unicorn manage to escape the swarm while the shadows keep attacking.
"This way! They won't follow us while they're still attacking!" The winged unicorn said, as they start running.
"Wait! STOP!" Gideon commanded, making the shadows stop attacking. "Where'd they go?! Ugh! They got away! They haven't seen the last of li'l ol' Gideon!" Gideon yelled.
(Fountain Plaza)
Arthur, Tod, and the winged unicorn manage to escape and are now in a plaza with a big heart-shaped fountain in the center and they stop.
"Thank you. You really helped back there." Arthur said.
"I should be thanking you! If you and the fox hadn't shown up, that brat wouldn't leave me alone." The winged unicorn said.
"I'm just happy we made it in time." Arthur said.
"Oh, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Twilight Sparkle." Twilight introduced.
"It's nice to meet you, Twilight. My name's Arthur and this is Tod. Um, are you some sort of horse-bird hybrid with a horn?" Arthur asked.
"I'm an Alicorn, silly." Twilight said.
"Oh, I've never heard of one before." Arthur said.
"Well, there are other three like me." Twilight said.
"I'm guessing you're from another world too. Um, was it…" Arthur was cut off.
"I'm afraid so… Equestria is gone and so are my friends." Twilight said, hanging her head down and lowering her ears.
"I'm sorry to hear that. If you made it out, maybe your friends did too?" Arthur suggested.
"I suppose. You want to help me find them?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah! A good friend of mine once told me two heads are better than one when looking for something." Arthur said.
"Okay, Arthur, Tod, let's go!" Twilight said.
(Twilight Sparkle has joined you!)
Arthur, Twilight, and Tod make their way through the fountain plaza, but more shadows appear, only for Arthur to slash with his sword while Tod attacks with a stick. The three continue moving through the fountain plaza and later, they leave the plaza and arrive somewhere else.
(Back Alley)
Arthur, Twilight, and Tod go through the back alley and they fight off more shadows attacking and they later the leave the back alley and arrive at a different section. The trio are now in the first district of the town, but they don't see anyone around.
"It's quiet. I don't like it…" Arthur said.
"Where is everybody? I saw many people here before." Twilight said.
Just then. More shadows appear.
"Go away!" Arthur yelled, slashing at the shadows with his sword.
"This is bad. No matter where we go, more keep coming." Twilight said.
Just then, Tod sees someone surrounded by shadows and it's what looks like a yellow wolf like creature with yellow eyes and wearing silver knight armor with a small shield shape with blue and red crosses and a crown symbol in the middle, silver brown, brown boots, and carrying a silver sword and blue and red shield with the same crown symbol is fighting against the shadows.
"He looks like he needs help!" Arthur said and Tod nods, as they charge at the shadows and Arthur manages to destroy the shadows with his sword. "Um, are you hurt, sir?" Arthur asked.
"No. I'm okay now, thanks to you guys." The wolf creature said.
"That's good. It's good to know there's someone here." Twilight said.
"But we haven't found your friends yet, Twilight." Arthur said.
"I'm sorry. I had no idea you also lost your friends." The wolf creature said.
"Don't worry, Arthur. I'm certain they're in town somewhere. We just gotta keep looking." Twilight said.
"Excuse me, may I come along?" The wolf creature said.
"You sure, sir?" Arthur asked.
"Well, you helped me, so I figured it would be right if I did the same." The wolf creature said.
"Well, it's better if you do come with us than be by yourself." Arthur said.
"Great! By the way, my name's Tor. Sir Tor, I suppose. I'm a knight." Tor introduced.
"It's nice to meet you, Tor. My name's Arthur and these are Tod and Twilight Sparkle." Arthur introduced himself, Tod, and Twilight.
"Thank you, Tor. Um, do you also have friends to find too?" Twilight asked.
"Actually, yeah. I'm trying to find someone named Roberta. I'm hoping she's in town too." Tor said.
"Well, let's look for your friends, guys." Arthur said and Tod nods.
(Tormund has joined you!)
Arthur, Twilight, Tor, and Tod explore the first district and they find a big shop that says 'Accessory Shop' and they decide to go in.
The four enter the shop, where they find Cid standing behind the counter.
"Hey, how can I…" Cid stops talking, seeing the four. "Oh, just another kid, a winged pony, a wolf, and a fox." Cid said.
"Um, we have names, sir. I'm Arthur and these are Tod, Twilight, and Tor." Arthur said, mildly annoyed.
"Awright, simmer down now. So, how can I help ya?" Cid asked.
"We're trying to find their friends, sir." Arthur said.
"Ya don't hafta keep callin' me 'sir'. Just call me Cid. Anyway, y'all shouldn't be out here. It's dangerous outside." Cid said.
"But we're trying to find our friends." Twilight said.
"I think I know just the person, who'll might help ya." Cid said.
"You do? Who?" Tor asked.
"There's a man named Leon. He should be somewhere 'round town. He'll might help find who y'all're lookin' fer." Cid said.
"Okay. We'll try and find this Leon person. Thank you, Mr. Cid." Arthur said.
"Good luck and watch yer backs." Cid said, as the four leave the shop.
Meanwhile, Sora explores the second district while fighting off more shadows in his way and he arrives at a gizmo shop, a hotel, and even a house with only two dalmatians, but no sign of his friends.
"Ugh, this is so annoying! No matter where I go, these things keep showing up. I'd better talk to Cid again." Sora said.
Sora returns to the first district and returns to the accessory shop, where he finds Cid again.
"Oh, hey, Sora. What's the matter?" Cid asked.
"I haven't found my friends yet and everywhere I go, these things keep showing up." Sora said.
"That ain't good." Cid said.
"Now that I think about it, this town's empty now. What happened?" Sora asked.
"Listen, Sora. This place ain't safe. My advice is to find Leon. He should help ya out." Cid said.
"Okay. Thanks, Cid." Sora said, leaving the shop.
Sora leaves the shop to start looking for Leon.
"They'll come at you out of nowhere." A voice said.
"Who're you?" Sora asked, taking out his key sword.
Someone arrives and it's a young man with dark brown hair, grey eyes, a scar on his nose, wearing a white shirt with a black jacket over it with red wings on the jacket's back, a Grieve necklace, black pants, black gloves, and black boots.
"And they'll keep on coming at you, as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade." The young man said, pointing the key sword. "But why? Why would it choose a kid like you?" The young man asked, face palming.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Sora asked offended.
"Nevermind. Now, let's see that key." The young man said, walking to Sora.
"What? There's NO way you're getting this!" Sora said, getting into his fighting stance.
"Okay, then have it your way." The young man said, taking out a sword with a gun at the end with a chain that has a lion symbol.
Meanwhile, Arthur, Tod, Twilight, and Tor return to the fountain plaza.
"You realize they will continue to hunt you down." A voice said.
"Who said that?" Arthur asked.
"Who's there?" Tor asked, taking out his sword and shield.
Approaching the four is a young woman with long scarlet hair, wearing silver knight armor, medium blue skirt, and black long boots.
"Are you aware that as long as you wield Excalibur, those fiends will continue to come at you?" The young woman asked, pointing at Arthur's sword.
"Excalibur…? That's the name of the sword I pulled?" Arthur asked, looking at the sword.
"I still rather find it amusing that a child like you would be capable of pulling such a sword." The woman said.
"That's kind of rude." Twilight said annoyed.
"And anyway, even if those creatures do keep attacking Arthur, we can handle them!" Tor said.
"Is that right? In that case, you, boy, shall show me your resolve." The woman said, taking out her own sword.
"Y-You mean I have to fight YOU?" Arthur asked, nervous.
"It's okay, Arthur. You can do it." Twilight said.
"Show her." Tor said and Tod nods.
"B-But…" Arthur was cut off.
"Let us begin." The woman said.
(Information: Fight the young man!)
At the first district, the young man fires a fireball shot from his Gunblade, but Sora manages to dodge it and tries slashing at the young man with the key sword, but the young man blocks every attack and delivers swings with his Gunblade, knocking Sora back. Sora charges and manages to land some hits on the young man, sending him back, only for the young man to fire another fireball shot at Sora, who manages to block it, sending it right back at the young man, who gets away. The young man delivers two swings with his Gunblade at Sora, causing great damage to the spiky-haired boy, who stumbles back and then falls to the ground.
"Hey, you found it! Nice going, Leon!" A voice said and Leon turns to see a young woman with short black hair, wearing a metal headband, yellow scarf, green tube top with two belts, tan shorts with a blue belt, white stockings, orange shoes, and fingerless gloves with black bands.
"Still, it looks like things are worse than we thought. A lot worse." Leon said, looking down at the unconscious Sora.
"So, what about Excalibur?" The young woman asked.
"Titania's taking care of that. We'll meet her and the others at the hotel." Leon said, picking up Sora and holding him over his right shoulder. "Get that Keyblade, would you?" Leon asked.
"Sure." The young woman said, picking up the Keyblade.
(Information: Fight the young woman!)
Meanwhile at the fountain plaza, the young woman transforms her armor into what looks like a different set of armor, which is white and unleashes many swords, shocking Arthur, but the young woman sends the swords at Arthur, who dodges out of the way, but one sword gets the blond. Arthur tries to retaliate with slashing with his sword, but the woman blocks every sword attack and delivers her own attacks with two swords, sending Arthur back. Arthur stands up and charges at the young woman, but despite Arthur trying to slash with his sword, the young woman continues to dodge every attack and slashes at Arthur with her swords and sends more swords at the blond, who manages to block them, only for the young woman to get behind and tries to strike at Arthur, who blocks and they lock swords.
"You're holding up well for a child, but you're no match for me." The young woman said.
"No good! She's really strong! I can't beat her! What do I do?" Arthur asked in his mind.
Just then, Arthur hears a scream and he sees Twilight and Tod trapped in ice and with them is a young man, who is shirtless, has raven black hair, wearing a necklace with a sword, black pants with chains, and a blue fairy with a tail symbol on his chest and the young man also has Tor hostage with an ice blade toward Tor's neck.
"This fight's over!" The young man said.
"Twilight! Tor! Tod!" Arthur cried.
"What are you doing, fool?! Let them go at once!" The young woman ordered.
"Not until he surrenders Excalibur." The young man said.
"I'll do whatever you want, but don't hurt them! Please!" Arthur begged, dropping the sword.
"Good boy." The young man said, letting go of Tor while also freeing Twilight and Tod from the ice.
"What was that for?!" Twilight demanded.
"Forgive my comrade's stupidity. I assure you we are not your enemies." The young woman said, reverting back to her original armor.
"You sure about that?" Tor asked.
"Yes. We are to meet with the others at the hotel in the second district. Please, come with us and we'll explain everything." The young woman said.
"What do you think, Arthur?" Twilight asked.
"If they're not really trying to hurt us, then I trust them." Arthur said.
"Hey, what about the Keyblade?" The young man asked.
"Leon is handling that, which is why we are to meet him and Yuffie." The young woman said.
"Wait, did you say Leon?" Arthur asked.
"We were actually trying to find him." Twilight said.
"Excellent. Come with us to the hotel." The young woman said.
Meanwhile, someone wakes up and it's Riku, who finds himself on what looks like a crystalline rock with floating platforms and a waterfall rising up rather than flowing downwards.
"Where am I?" Riku asked, looking around. "Sora! Kairi!" Riku called, but no response.
"Sheesh, loud much?" A voice asked and Riku turns to see Morgan.
"Who are you?" Riku asked.
"It's common courtesy for you to introduce yourself first. Whatever. I'm Morgan Le Fay." Morgan introduced.
"Riku. Do you know where we are?" Riku asked.
"Yes I do, but that's not important right now." Morgan said and just then, the masked figure arrives.
"Hate to break it to you, but your friends aren't here." The masked figure said.
"What happened to them?" Riku asked.
"Who knows." The masked figure said.
"You wanna find them, right?" Morgan asked.
"Yes, more than anything." Riku said.
"In that case, follow us to that castle over there." Morgan said, pointing at a giant castle with lots of machinery. "There're many people there, who can help you." Morgan said.
"Really?" Riku asked.
"Yep. Follow us if you wanna see your friends again." The masked figure said, jumping from platform to platform.
"See you there, Rikky." Morgan said, teleporting away.
"If they can help me find Sora and Kairi, then I'd better trust them." Riku said, following the masked figure.
Back at Traverse Town in an alleyway, Donald and Goofy are still trying to find Leon and Titania, but they still find nothing.
"Gawrsh, there's nobody here. Sure is spooky." Goofy said.
"Aw, phooey. I'm not scared!" Donald said, but then, a hand touches the duck, making him scream while jumping on Goofy's back.
"Whoops, sorry. Didn't mean to scare you like that." A voice said.
"Did the King send you?" Another voice asked.
Donald and Goofy trun to see two young women.
The first woman has long brown hair tied to a braid with a red bow, wearing a red and pink dress, and brown boots.
The second girl has shoulder-length blonde hair with a side ponytail on the right side of her head, wearing a white and blue sleeveless top, short blue skirt, black bands, long brown boots, a blue ribbon on her ponytail, carrying a whip and gold and silver keys on her hip, and pink mark with a fairy symbol on her right hand.
"Who're you two?" Donald asked, getting off Goofy.
"Let's just say we happen to know the King." The blonde girl said.
"You do?" Goofy asked.
"Yes. Please follow us to the hotel and we'll explain everything." The young woman said.
"Uh, okay…" Donald said, as he and Goofy follow the two girls.
(Hotel-Blue Room)
Arthur, Tod, Twilight, and Tor follow the young woman and the young man into a blue room that has an underwater theme with paintings resembling water and fish.
"Let me start off by apologizing for attacking you. You can rest assure we are not here to kill you." The young woman said.
"That's okay. Um, if you don't mind me asking what's the deal about Excalibur and what did you mean by those things wouldn't stop coming after me if I keep wielding it?" Arthur asked.
"And when will we meet Leon?" Twilight asked.
"We shall meet him very soon. We must keep ourselves hidden from those infernal demons first. Allow me to introduce myself. I am called Titania, but you may call me Erza Scarlet. The fool over there is one of my comrades, Gray Fullbuster." Erza introduced.
"Hey, I was trying to help!" Gray defended.
"By trapping Twilight and Tod in ice and holding me hostage?" Tor asked, crossing his arms.
"I was trying to test to see if this kid's worthy of Excalibur." Gray said.
"And it appears he is. Legend has it that only one is capable of pulling Excalibur from the stone, but not only that, you have also proven by thinking not of yourself but of others, your heart is true. That is why you can't fall to those monstrosities and why Excalibur must be kept out of reach. That's how they keep tracking you." Erza said.
"So, that's why…" Arthur said.
"Still, it's hard to believe that this kid, of all people, pulled the legendary sword." Gray said.
"Again, rude." Twilight said.
"So, would you kindly tell us what's going on?" Tor asked.
(Hotel-Green Room)
In a different room with green walls, Leon and the young woman set the unconscious Sora on a bed.
"So, when're we gonna see Titania?" The young woman asked, placing the Keyblade against a door.
"Be patient. She'll be here with Excalibur. In the meantime, see if you can wake him up." Leon said, pointing at the sleeping Sora.
"Fine." The young woman said, going for Sora.
"C'mon, lazy bum! Wake up!" A voice said, making Sora open his eyes and he sees a familiar girl, who is Kairi. "You okay?" Kairi asked.
"I guess so." Sora said.
"Those creatures chasing you are after the Keyblade, but it's your heart they really want because you wield the Keyblade." Kairi said.
"I'm so glad you're okay, Kairi." Sora said.
"Kairi? Who're you talking about? I'm the great ninja Yuffie Kisaragi!" Yuffie said, making Sora confused and 'Kairi' turns to the same young woman named Yuffie. "Squall, you might've overdone it on him." Yuffie said.
"I told you to call me Leon from now on." Leon said, sternly.
"What's going on here?" Sora asked, as he sees the key sword. "The Keyblade…" Sora said.
"Yeah, we had to get it away from you to shake off those creatures. It turns out that's how they're tracking you." Yuffie said.
"It was our only option to conceal your heart from them, but it won't work for long." Leon said, picking up the Keyblade. "Still, hard to believe that you, of all people, are the chosen one." Leon said, as the Keyblade disappears and reappears in Sora's hands. "Well, I suppose beggars can't be choosers." Leon said.
"How 'bout you start making sense! What's going on here?" Sora asked.
Meanwhile in a red room, the two girls are talking to Donald and Goofy.
"Okay, we should be safe for now. By the way, I'm Lucy Heartfilia." Lucy introduced.
"And my name is Aerith Gainsborough." Aerith introduced.
"Great to meetcha!" Goofy said.
"So, how you know the King?" Donald asked, crossing his arms.
"Well, first off, you do know that there are other worlds besides your castle and this town, right?" Aerith asked.
"Well, yeah, but…" Donald stops talking.
"They're supposed to be a secret." Goofy said, covering his mouth.
"Yeah, they've been secrets because they were never connected, until now." Lucy said.
"When the Heartless came, everything changed." Aerith said, hanging her head down.
Back at the blue room.
"The Heartless…?" Arthur asked, fearfully.
"They're those damn monsters that kept comin' at you." Gray said.
"They're abominations without hearts. The darkness in people's hearts is what creates them. Unfortunately, there is darkness in every heart, including ours." Erza said.
"That's just horrible…" Tor said.
"So, those monsters that invaded Equestria were the Heartless. The ones, who took my friends from me…" Twilight said sadly.
"Arthur, do you know anyone by the name of Ruber?" Erza asked.
"Wait, Ruber?!" Arthur asked, remembering the same man from the castle courtyard, who attacked Merlin.
Back at the green room.
"So, those things that attacked my island were the Heartless." Sora said.
"Yep. They're the ones that kept chasing you." Yuffie said.
"As long as darkness remains in people's hearts, they'll always keep coming." Leon said.
"By the way, have you ever heard of a man named Ansem?" Yuffie asked.
Back at the red room.
"Ruber?" Donald asked.
"Ansem?" Goofy asked.
"Ansem was the one, who studied the Heartless." Aerith said.
"Ruber was the one, who knew about the Heartless and wanted to use them for his own selfish purposes." Lucy said.
"Ansem recorded his findings in a very detailed report." Aerith said.
"Gawrsh, can we see it?" Goofy asked.
"Hate to tell you this, but the pages are scattered everywhere." Aerith said.
"Scattered?" Donald asked.
"Right, to many worlds." Lucy said.
"Oh, then maybe the King, Princess Celestia, and Queen Fyora went to find 'em!" Goofy said and Donald nods.
"Yeah, that's pretty much what we thought too." Lucy said.
"We gotta find 'em quick!" Goofy said.
"Wait! First, we need that 'key' and that 'legendary sword'!" Donald reminded.
"Right, the Keyblade." Aerith said.
"And Excalibur." Lucy said.
Back at the blue room.
"I think I get it now. This is Excalibur, the legendary weapon." Arthur said.
"Yeah, now you're catching it." Gray said.
"The Heartless fear both Excalibur and the Keyblade. That's why they'll stop at nothing to track you down." Erza said.
"I can't believe this… All I did was pull it from the stone in the churchyard." Arthur said.
"Yeah, but no one would normally pull it from the stone, but you did. Meaning, you're Excalibur's right wielder." Gray said.
"I understand this must be a lot to take in. I'm sorry it must be you." Erza said, placing her hand on Arthur's shoulder.
"I-I can't believe this… I lost my home, I don't know what happened to Uncle Merlin, Lord Ector, Kay, and Lance… I couldn't do anything…" Arthur said, looking down at the floor depressed, but Tod nudges his head on the blond's leg for comfort.
"Arthur, it's okay. You're not alone. I'm sure there's a bright side to all this." Twilight said.
"Twilight's right! Don't give up hope! We're all friends here!" Tor said.
Back at the green room.
"So, this is the Keyblade…" Sora said.
"Exactly." Yuffie said.
"The Heartless have great fear of the Keyblade. That's why they'll keep coming at you, no matter what." Leon said.
"I didn't ask for this." Sora said.
"The Keyblade chooses its master and it chose you." Yuffie said.
"Tough luck." Leon said, leaning against the wall.
"Be nice, Leon!" Yuffie berated.
"How'd this happen? I remember being in my room… Wait a minute! What happened to my home, my island, Riku, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"You know what, I really don't know." Leon said, making Sora hang his head down.
"Hey, don't worry. With that Keyblade, you can open chests, doors, and it'll might help you find your friends." Yuffie assured.
"Really?" Sora asked.
"But you'll also be dealing with Heartless. You'll have to prepare yourself." Leon said.
"Prepare myself?" Sora asked.
"To fight for your life. The Heartless are ruthless and won't hold anything back. You ready?" Leon asked.
"Anything to find Riku and Kairi." Sora said determined.
"Good. Yuffie, let's go find Titania. Then we'll find Aerith and Lucy. I'd imagine they're with our new visitors right now." Leon said.
Back at the blue room.
"So, Erza, ready to see Leon?" Gray asked.
"Yes, now is the time. We should be safe. Arthur, please listen to me. I know you're frightened right now and you're not trained for combat, but you must be prepared to fight for your life." Erza said.
"It's true I'm not strong enough and I'm not trained for combat, but I can't run away." Arthur said.
"Excellent. I'm sure you'll be strong in your own way." Erza said.
"Wait, we're going too!" Twilight said and Tod nods.
"Right! If Arthur goes, we go!" Tor said.
"Twilight, Tor, Tod…" Arthur said, as Tod gets on Arthur's head.
"Very well, but you too, shall have to fight for your lives as well." Erza said.
"That won't be a problem for me." Twilight said.
"I've trained to be a knight in Meridell! This'll be nothing." Tor said.
"Then let's make haste." Erza said.
"Erza!" Gray said, as a Soldier appears.
"Impossible! Already?! Gray, get moving!" Erza said.
"But…" Gray was cut off.
"GO!" Erza commanded, making Gray leave.
Gray rushes into the green room, where he finds Leon, Yuffie, and Sora.
"Gray?!" Yuffie asked.
"Heartless!" Gray said, as more Soldiers appear.
"They found us?!" Leon asked.
"Not here!" Sora said.
"Yuffie, go with Gray!" Leon ordered, as Yuffie and Gray leave the green room.
At the red room, Donald goes for the door, only for Gray and Yuffie to rush off, slamming the door on the duck and they find Lucy and Aerith.
"Gray?" Lucy asked.
"Yuffie!" Aerith said.
"The Heartless found us! We gotta get outta here!" Gray said, as he and Yuffie rush out.
"Come on, Aerith!" Lucy said, as the girls leave.
At the blue room, Erza takes out her sword and delivers a strong swing at the Soldier, sending it flying against the wall, creating a hole.
"Arthur, Twilight, Tor, Tod, follow me!" Erza said, running outof the room.
"You ready, Arthur?" Twilight asked.
"Y-Yeah! Let's go!" Arthur said, as they follow Erza.
At the green room, Leon takes out his Gunblade and swings at a Soldier.
"Sora, let's go!" Leon said, striking another Soldier, sending it against the hotel's window and rushes after it.
"Time to go!" Sora said, following Leon.
After everyone is gone, the red door opens, leaving Donald flat on the wall.
(Alleyway)
(Battle Theme: Night of Fate)
Arthur, Twilight, Tor, and Tod are with Erza, but more Soldiers appear and surround them, only for Erza to strike with her sword.
"Annoying pests! Arthur, you must find the leader! Take out the leader and they will stop coming temporarily!" Erza said.
"Okay, I'll do my best!" Arthur said, as Erza runs off while slashing the other Soldiers.
"Looks like we're on our own." Tor said.
"Don't worry about them. Just find the leader!" Twilight said.
"Then, let's do it! Twilight, Tor, Tod, let's go!" Arthur said, rushing off and they follow him.
At a different alleyway, Sora and Leon are outside, but Soldiers surround them.
"More are here!" Sora said, taking out his Keyblade.
"Sora, don't bother with the small fry! Find their leader and take it out!" Leon said.
"Okay!" Sora said, as Leon leaves while fighting Soldiers.

Arthur, Twilight, Tor, and Tod make their way through the second district while passing many Soldiers in their way and they later find a door, taking them somewhere else.
(Third District)
Arthur, Twilight, Tor, and Tod arrive at the town's third district and keep moving, but as they keep running, Arthur bumps into someone.
"Ow! I'm so sorry!" Arthur said.
"Hey, it's okay. Just watch where you're going." The person said and it's Sora, who's rubbing his head, but looks at Arthur. "Huh? Who're you?" Sora asked.
"Um, I was gonna ask you that." Arthur said.
On a high balcony, Goofy looks down, but sees two Soldiers appearing.
"Gawrsh, are these the Heartless guys?" Goofy asked, taking out a shield with a mouse head symbol on it.
"Let's get 'em, Goofy!" Donald said, taking out a purple staff with a brown mage hat at the top.
An explosion occurs, causing Donald and Goofy to fly off.
"Uh, guys, look out!" Twilight called, making the two boys look up.
"Run!" Arthur said, but Donald and Goofy land on Sora and they're all dazed.
"Are they okay?" Tor asked.
Donald and Goofy recover and they see the Keyblade in Sora's hand.
"The key!" Donald and Goofy said and they look at Excalibur in Arthur's hand.
"That must be the legendary sword!" Donald said.
Just then, a quake occurs, causing blocks to rise, surrounding everyone and more Soldiers appear.
"Guess there's no way out!" Sora said, getting into his fighting stance.
"Count me in!" Donald said, pointing his staff.
"Me too!" Goofy said with his shield ready.
"I'm gonna fight too!" Arthur said, holding Excalibur firmly while Tod takes out his stick.
"I won't run this time!" Twilight said, taking out a white and purple tome.
"Time for a lesson!" Tor said, taking out his sword and shield.

The Soldiers attack with leaping kicks, but Arthur attacks with Excalibur, getting one Heartless, but another Soldier tries to attack the blond, only for Sora to diagonal slash with his Keyblade, but two more Soldiers deliver spin kicks. Twilight shoots a magic bolt from her horn and tome to destroy them while Donald shoots a fireball, but two more Soldiers go for Twilight and Donald, only for Goofy to bash with his shield, knocking them away while Tor delivers slashes with his sword and attacks with his shield. More Soldiers try to attack, but Tod manages to attack with his stick followed by a tail whip attack, only for another Soldier to attack with its claws, but Arthur triple slashes with Excalibur while Sora vertical slashes with his Keyblade and they defeat the Soldiers.
"Hey, you're not bad." Sora said.
"Thanks, but you're better than me." Arthur said, looking at the Keyblade. "So, what is that?" Arthur asked.
"This is a Keyblade and it looks like I'm its chosen, but what's your sword?" Sora asked.
"This is called Excalibur and I pulled it, making it my weapon." Arthur said.
Just then, Tod looks up at the sky.
"Uh, guys…" Twilight points up to see something crashing down.
Huge pieces of armor crash down to the ground and a large purple torso with the same Heartless symbol floats up while two hands join together side by side while two feet join at the bottom and then a head crashes down as well at the top of the torso and the head, hands, and feet separate and float from the torso.
"That's a big Heartless." Goofy said.
"It must be the leader like Erza said." Arthur said.
"That's what Leon said too." Sora said.
"We gotta defeat it!" Tor said.
"Yeah!" Donald said.
(Boss Theme: Shrouding Dark Cloud)
(Information: Defeat Guard Armor!)
The Heartless known as Guard Armor spins its hands around at the seven, but Goofy and Tor manage to block with their shields, allowing Arthur to aerial slash at the torso with Excalibur while Sora joins in with a triple slash at the torso with his Keyblade, only for Guard Armor to jump into the air and tries to land on the two boys. Twilight uses her magic to levitate it, allowing Donald to cast a fireball spell while Tor jumps into the air and aerial slashes with his sword followed by a downward strike with his shield, but Guard Armor sends its parts away to attack. The hands deliver a spinning attack while the feet begin stomping all over while the torso delivers its spinning attack, but Twilight and Donald go for the hands that are still spinning and Twilight casts a magenta fire spell of her own while Donald casts his fire spell. Tor, Tod, and Goofy go for the feet that are still stomping and Tor attacks the left foot with his sword followed by a shield slam while Goofy bashes the right foot with his shield while Tod delivers three attacks with his stick at the right foot. The torso continues spinning to attack both Sora and Arthur, only for the two boys to attack back with their weapons and Arthur spin attacks with Excalibur while Sora somersault slashes with his Keyblade.
After enough attacks, Guard Armor falls to the ground along with its parts and Arthur double slashes with Excalibur while Sora vertical slashes with his Keyblade while Twilight bashes with her tome while Donald whacks with his staff while Tor triple slashes with his sword while Goofy bashes with his shield while Tod strikes with his stick. After enough attacks, Guard Armor gets back up and spins its hands again while stomping with its feet, only for Twilight to fire two magic bolts at the feet while Goofy delivers a charging attack and they manage to destroy the feet. Guard Armor's hands keep spinning, only for Tor to upper slash with his sword followed by an upper shield bash while Donald casts two fireballs while Tod aerial attacks with his stick and they destroy both hands. Leaving Guard Armor with only its torso, as it starts spinning to attack the seven, who counter with Goofy blocking with his shield and then delivers a rocket bash while Donald casts another fireball while Tor delivers a thrusting strike with his sword while Twilight shoots three magic bolts from her horn and tome. The attacks stun Guard Armor's torso, allowing Arthur and Sora to charge at the Heartless and deliver their separate attacks and they cross paths with Excalibur and Kingdom Key and they two boys deliver their final blow on Guard Armor.
Guard Armor struggles to maintain its balance and then its head falls, as a giant heart flies out of the torso, which disappears.
"Whew, glad that's over." Arthur said.
"Yeah. You were great. You sure you never used a sword before?" Sora asked.
"Um, I just started learning how to…" Arthur said.
"Hahahahaha!" A voice laughed.
"Now what?" Donald asked.
The seven look up to see Gideon on one of the pillars.
"You!" Arthur said.
"Ugh, not you again!" Twilight said.
"So, you losers defeated Guard Armor, but how 'bout my giant metal friend?" Gideon asked.
"What are you talking about?" Arthur asked, but then, something falls to the ground and it's what looks like a giant metallic silver and purple tank.
"What is that?" Arthur asked.
"A tank?" Goofy asked.
Just then, the tank transforms into what looks like a giant silver and purple robot with two missile launchers on its shoulders, jets on its feet, a knight like mask, and metal braces on its bulky forearms.
"Oh, boy…" Tor said.
"Another Heartless?" Sora asked.
"Meet my metal friend, Galleom! He's gonna crush, destroy, and grind y'all to dust! Play nice with yer new friends now, Galleom!" Gideon said, as Galleom pounds its fists against its metallic chest.
"You wanna play?! Let's play, ya metal freak!" Sora said.
"We can do this… We can do this…" Arthur said.

Galleom delivers its ballet style spin attack while trying to bring the seven into it, but the group manage to stay away from it and then Arthur aerial slashes at the robot with Excalibur while Sora also aerial slashes with with his Keyblade. Galleom attempts to slam its whole body down to the ground to try and crush the seven, only for them to dodge and Donald casts two fireballs while Tor delivers his thrusting sword strike, but Galleom uses the jets on its feet to fly away and then tries to land on the group, who dodge. Twilight shoots magic bolts while Goofy delivers a rocket bash with his shield while Tod delivers a tail strike attack, only for Galleom to jump around to try and crush the seven, who dodge the crushing attack. Sora aerial triple slashes with his Keyblade followed by a spinning attack while Arthur aerial diagonal slashes with Excalibur followed by a vertical slash, but Galleom uses its missile launchers to fire many missiles at the seven, who avoid the missiles. Twilight fires another magenta fireball while Tor throws his shield like a boomerang while Donald casts another fireball while Tod triple strikes with his stick while Goofy delivers a charging shield bash.
Gelleom becomes very angry and transforms into its tank form and tries to charge at the seven, who dodge out of the way, but the tank continues charging all over the area, still trying to attack, but Arthur manages to get on the tank's back and begins slashing the tank's back with Excalibur followed by a thrusting strike. Sora also gets on the tank and begins striking with his Keyblade, following by a slamming attack on the tank's back, dealing great damage. The boys get off the tank, as Galleom transforms back to its robot form and frantically punches the group with its metallic fists, but they dodge and Goofy delivers another rocket bash while Twilight shoots three magic beams. Galleom flies with its jets again and tries to land on the group, who dodge out of the way and Tor delivers a sky dancing sword slash with his sword and strikes Galleom's head while Donald casts three fireballs, only for Galleom to slam its body to try and crush the group. Tod diagonal strikes with his stick, only for Galleom to deliver a hughe uppercut strike at the fox, but Arthur manages to save Tod, who delivers a headbash while Tor spin slashes with his sword while Goofy shield charges while Twilight shoots magic bolts while Donald casts fireballs. Galleom jumps around to attack the group while trying to crush them again, only for them to dodge and Arthur and Sora work together and strike at the giant robot with both Kingdom Key and Excalibur, delivering their final strike on Galleom.
Galleom starts malfunctioning, as it struggles to continue to fight, but Galleom falls to the ground.
"NO! Galleom!" Gideon cried.
"Take THAT, brat!" Sora said, grinning.
"ARGH! This ain't over! Not by a long shot! We'll meet again! Mark my words, y'all!" Gideon said, disappearing in darkness.
"What a pain." Donald said.
"I don't think it's the last time we'll be seeing him." Arthur said.
Later, Donald and Goofy begin explaining to Sora and Arthur why they're looking for them.
"So, you were looking for us the whole time?" Sora asked and Donald and Goofy nod.
"They too have been seeking the wielders of the Keyblade and Excalibur." Leon said and with him are Erza, Yuffie, and Gray.
"Fear not, for they are not your enemies." Erza said.
"Is it also true you're trying to find Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"And Queen Fyora?" Tor asked.
"Yeah. The King told us in his letter he went off with 'em." Goofy said.
"Do you know them?" Donald asked.
"I was Princess Celestia's student! I can't believe she's actually out there somewhere." Twilight said.
"And I can't believe Queen Fyora actually made it out too and she's out somewhere." Tor said.
"Maybe your friends are out there too." Arthur said.
"Hey, why don't y'all come with us? We can go to other worlds on our vessel." Goofy said.
"I wonder if I'll find Riku and Kairi…" Sora said, hanging his head down.
"Of course!" Donald said.
"Really?" Sora asked.
"Are ya sure?" Goofy asked.
"Who knows, but we need them to come with us to help us find the King, Princess Celestia, and Queen Fyora." Donald said.
Twilight and Tor hear what Donald said and are angry.
"That selfish duck! All he cares about is finding his king! He doesn't care if anyone's okay or not!" Twilight said.
"Well, we're still gonna help him find his friends and we're not gonna leave Arthur either." Tor said.
"Of course! We'll help find who we're looking for, no matter what." Twilight said.
"It's settled then." Tor said.
"Sora, go with them, especially if you want to find your friends." Leon said.
"Arthur, it's best if you go with them as well. I assure you, they can take care of you." Erza said.
"Yeah, I guess…" Sora said.
"If you say so…" Arthur said.
"But you two can't come along looking like that, understand? No frowning, no sad face, okay?" Donald said.
"Yeah, ya gotta be funny, like us!" Goofy said, getting int Donald's face, but Donald shoves the knight away.
"Our ship runs on happy faces." Donald said.
"You know, he's right. If we're gonna find who we're looking for, we should at least be positive. I'm sure one of my friends Pinkie Pie would say something like that." Twilight said.
"Happy?" Sora asked, as he makes a goofy grin, but no reaction from anyone makes him stop smiling, but Donald and Goofy laugh.
"That's one funny face!" Goofy said.
"It kinda was." Tor said, chuckling a bit.
"Yeah, it was pretty funny and I actually feel a bit better. Okay, I'm coming with you." Arthur said.
"Me too!" Sora said.
"Donald Duck." Donald introduced, taking his hand out.
"Name's Goofy." Goofy introduced, putting his hand over Donald's.
"Twilight Sparkle." Twilight introduced, putting her hoof over Goofy's hand.
"I'm Sir Tor." Tor introduced, placing his hand on Twilight's hoof.
"I'm Sora." Sora introduced, putting his hoof over Tor's.
"And I'm Arthur, Artie for short. This is Tod." Arthur introduced, placing his hand and Tod's paw over Sora's hand.
"All for one, one for all!" Goofy said.

In what looks like a dark chamber, a projection of the group and a group of shadow figures watch the projection.
"Those little squirts took out Gideon's Heartless! Not only that, but they even took out his toy! Who'd have thought it?!" One of the shadow figures asked and it's an irritated voice.
"Such is the power of the Keyblade and Excalibur, yet the children's strengths are not their own, especially the one with Excalibur." Another shadow figure said and it's a calculating voice.
"Why don't we turn them into Heartless? Haha! That'll settle things quick enough!" Another shadow figure said and it's an evil woman voice.
"And would you look at that! Little Wart actually survived, got that sword, and decided to join 'em! Looks like I got myself more than one twerp to break like a stick!" Another shadow figure said and it's a cruel voice.
"And the brat's friends are the King's lackeys, that pony girl is the Princess' student, and that wolf knight is that foolish fairy queen's ally! Swoogle me eyes, they're all bilge rats by the looks of them!" Another shadow figure said and it's a pirate voice.
"You're no prize yourself!" Another shadow figure said and it's a cocky voice.
"Shut up!" The pirate voice snapped.
"Enough!" Another voice said and it's another evil woman voice.
"There is no need to fight. Remember we're on the same side." Another voice said and it's an evil male voice.
The two figures emerge from the shadows.
One is a woman with fair green skin, yellow eyes, wearing black and purple robes, black horns, and carrying a staff with a green orb.
The second is a man with dark skin, black hair, thin mustache, gap front teeth, purple eyes, wearing a maroon undertaker tailcoat with a purple vest over it, black trousers, black boots, black top hat with a purple feather and skull with crossbones on it, a necklace with two crocodile teeth around his neck, and carrying a cane with a purple globe.
"The Keyblade has chosen the older one and it seems the younger one has pulled the legendary sword. Tell me, Dr., will it be they, who will conquer the darkness or will the darkness swallow them?" The woman asked.
"A very good question, my dear. Perhaps the cards shall tell their fate, but I would like to guess myself. Regardless, they could be quite useful." The man said, smiling evilly while his shadow comes to life and smiles wickedly as well.
"Bah! They're nothing but weaklings! All of them!" A voice said and emerging from the shadows is Ruber and with him is a girl, who appears fourteen-years-old with yellow eyes, black hair tied to a bun with two bangs, wearing black and red armor, and a small crown like accessory with a fire symbol on the bun.
"Ahh, you're saying they're not worth our attention, Ruber?" The woman asked.
"My dear, they are but worms to be squashed. They mean nothing, as they cannot stop what will be ours." Ruber said.
"Still, it's always interesting to watch how their fate shall play out." The man said.
Back at Traverse Town in the first district, Leon, Erza, Yuffie, Gray, Aerith, and Lucy gather to talk to the group.
"Make sure you're prepared for the journey ahead of you." Leon said
"We don't know how far the Heartless have spread." Erza said.
"You should check out the shops. They got some pretty neat stuff." Yuffie said.
"This is from all of us." Aerith said, giving them 500 munny.
"Spend it as you see fit, okay?" Lucy said.
"Well, good luck out there." Gray said.
"Hope you find your friends." Yuffie said.
"Look out for each other." Leon said.
"Always keep your spirits up." Erza said, as they leave.
"So, what now?" Arthur asked.
"The Gummi ship is outside the gate." Donald said.
"The what?" Sora asked.
"Gummi ship? It sounds like some sort of candy." Twilight said.
"It's not! It's our ship." Donald said.
"Wait 'till you see it." Goofy said.
"So, are we ready to go?" Tor asked.
"Hold on. Sora, this is for you." Donald said, giving Sora Fire magic. "Now you can use magic." Donald said.
"What about me?" Arthur asked.
"I have something for you, Arthur." Twilight said, giving Arthur a blue fire spell. "This is known as a Blaze spell. It's as strong as Fire." Twilight said.
"Thanks, Twilight." Arthur said.
"Goofy, give Sora the other one." Donald said.
"What other one?" Goofy asked.
"You know!" Donald said.
"Oh, right! Here ya go!" Goofy said, giving Sora a dodge roll ability.
"Here, Artie, I got something for you too." Tor said, giving Arthur a dodge flip ability.
"Thanks, Tor." Arthur said.
"So, can we go now?" Sora asked.
"Hold on! Arthur, you can't go out looking like that!" Donald said.
"What's wrong with my clothes?" Arthur asked, looking at his clothes.
"Ya just need somethin' that suits ya better." Goofy said.
"I think I agree. Let's go find a shop with better clothes." Twilight said.
"Oh, okay." Arthur said.
The group make their way for a clothing store, where they see many clothes.
"Let's see if they got some nice clothes that'll suit you, Artie." Sora said.
"Yeah." Arthur said.
The group begin looking for new clothes for Arthur and later, they manage to find some clothes and later, Arthur comes out.
"Um, how do I look?" Arthur asked, revealing him now wearing an orange tunic with a zipper in the middle, black short sleeves with orange trims, brown straps and belts around his waist and torso, black knee-high trousers with smaller zippers, brown fingerless gloves, brown leather shoes, and a red and yellow scarf around his neck.
"Wow, you look great, Artie!" Sora said.
"You look like an actual adventurer." Tor said.
"Heh, thanks." Arthur said, rubbing his head and blushing.
"Well, now that's settled, can we go now?" Sora said.
"Yeah, we got a lot of work to do." Arthur said.
"Well, I can see a big adventure coming your way! It'll be up to me to keep track on things in my journal." Jiminy said, holding his notebook.
"Is it okay if I share my notes with yours?" Twilight asked.
"Of course! We can keep track of things together if ya like!" Jiminy said.
"Well, enough talking! Let's go already!" Sora said, rushing for the gate.
"Sora, wait up!" Arthur said, as they follow him for the gate.
Here's Chapter 4 and finally, we begin the adventure with the two legendary heroes across worlds and yes, I'm the one, who came up with Arthur's new clothes and he's sticking with it. That's all. Chapter 5 is coming. See ya later.
