The sun starts to slowly rise on the city of canterlot, the light streaming into the room of Acid and Film peacefully at sleep. Their chest slowly rising and falling with every breath they take, almost in unison. The light crosses over Film's face, causing him to awake from his sleep.
He slowly and groggily opens his eyes as Acid starts to wake up. The two slowly sit up as the two rub there eyes. The two look at each other as a smile starts to spread across their faces. The two stand up in their bed before hopping out of their beds and running down the hallway to their parents room.
The two burst into the room laughing and screaming, "Summer Sun Celebration is here in canterlot!" The two boys kept shouting as they jumped onto their parent's bed. Their parents wake up with a grunt as the two kids jump up and down on the bed.
"Mom wake up, it's the day," Acid says as Glass sits up in bed as she rubs her eyes with a hoof. Avi sits up with a groggy smile.
"Calm down you two," Glass says, petting Acid's head and combing her hoof through his hair. "The festival does not start until ten."
"Even more reason to get up and ready!" Film yells excitedly. Avi chuckles as the group gets out of bed. The brothers jump off the bed and head for the door. The boys run out of the room and down the hallway and towards breakfast as their parents follow slowly behind them.

Film and Acid down their breakfast as fast as they can while their parents eat at a more reasonable pace. The two watching the brothers scarf down their food with excitement in there eyes as the two talk about the things they'll do at the festival. Avi and Glass look at eachother with a smile and chuckle.
Film gets done first and jumps down from the table and heads to the door. Acid speeding up to try and keep up with his brother. He finishes and follows Film as Glass picks up the dishes with her magic and places them in the sink.
Glass and Avi walk to the door as Film and Acid put on their saddlebags. Their parents followed the two out the door. Film jumping into the air with his wings fluttering excitedly. He then lands back down on the ground with Acid running after him. The two talk about all the things they'll win at the festival.
Glass and Avi walk close together, Avi's head rests on top of Glass's. The two watch as Film and Acid walk just a few feet away. "Remember our first summer sun celebration," Avi says. Glass chuckles to herself.
"How could I, I was a week pregnant with what we thought was only going to be one colt," Glass responds as she remembers the memory with a smile. She leans into Avi more as he rubs his cheek against the top of her head.
"You decided to tell me after the dunking booth," Avi says as Glass laughs.
"Do you think you can still throw like that?"
"It's been ten years," Avi pulls away, Glass watching him intently as he raises his head in the air like the rich ponies in canterlot. He looks at his hoof with a half lidded eyes in a nonchalant way. "But I still think this arm has some power in it still,"
Glass laughs at his display before nudging him in the neck with her head. He laughs and lightly pushes her back. "What? They use to call me the rocky of the year back in high school. Said I could make the big leagues,"
Glass rolls her eyes at him. "What, in soft ball?" Avi rolls his eyes as Glass nuzzels back into his neck. They two sharing a smile as the two brothers look back at them in confusion. The two look at eachother and make grossed out faces at each other before going back to talking.

"Come up and play for the chance at a BIG prize!" A mare yells from a stall.
"Test your balance with the ladder game!" another mare yells. The voices of dozens of stall ponies yell out getting the attention of the attendees to the festival. Film and Acid look around in awe as an entar street in one of the busiest roads in canterlot is now full of vendors selling food and games. Their eyes lighting up at the sight of the big stuft animals and little gadgets hanging on the stalls.
Glass's hoove gently places itself on Acid's shoulder as Avi does the same to Film. The two looked up at their parents with pleading eyes. "Remember to meet back here for lunch at noon," Glass says with a warm smile.
"Ya!" The two scream before running towards the games.
"I'll make sure he doesn't forget!" Film yells back before following Acid into the river of ponies. Avi and Glass stand there and watch as the two kids swim upstream in the river of ponies before they lose them to the waves of ponies blocking their view.
Glass sighs contently as she watches her two boys run away, on the other hoof, Avi sighs sadly as he looks down at the ground. His ears flopping against his head. Glass spots this and turns to look at her downed husband.
"You're not still tangled up in your fit of rage you had a few weeks ago, are you?" Glass asks, wrapping an arm around his back and pulling him close to her. Avi chuckles and leans his head against the top of her's.
"It's scary how good you are at reading me," Avi says, wrapping an arm around her.
"It's my job as your wife to make sure you and the kids are happy," Glass says, nuzzling into his chest. "So what's the problem?" Avi smiles as he releases a sigh of content. Feeling Glass's head pressed against his chest warms his heart.
"I'm just worried I'm not doing a good job as a father," Avi wispears into Glass's ear. Glass raises an eyebrow, even though he can't see it, he can feel her slight shift in her head. He knows she wants a deeper explanation then the one he just gave.
"I work late. I end up with lots of stress from working at the library, and then I go drinking and yell at my own son.." Avi trails off as he remembers that and many more days like it. "What kind of father yells at his sons every other week?"
"One worried for their future," Glass says, stretching up and rubbing her cheek against his. They look into each other's eyes and smile. Avi's smile falters fast as it returns to a frown. He pushes away from her and takes a few steps away, surprising Glass with his sudden change in emotion.
"I already cursed them with my zebra dna making them unable to do their basic functions, but on top of that I yell at them for it when I get too drunk and never show up when it counts," Avi says as Glass carefully walks up to him.
She gives him a quick peck on the cheek, surprising Avi. She stairs close to his face as she says, "We didn't think that would happen to them, and you just stopped drinking. You already are a great father, you just need a little help."
With that, Glass goes full in and kisses Avi on the lips. Avi smiles and closes his eyes as he leans into his wife's loving kiss.

Acid and Film run threw the crowd of ponies. Waves of mares and stallions that the two have to push threw. Acid stops for a second, painting heavily as he looks around for his brother. Turning completely around, he is unable to locate his brother threw the crowd of ponies.
Acid's face goes from a bright smile to a frantic, worried frown. His orange eyes darting around the multi-colored waves of ponies as he tries to find Film. His ears flopping down against his head.
His breath starts to stagger and speed up as he falls down to his hunches. The ponies around him start to get taller. Creating a wall blocking out the sun. A rock sinking down into his chest. Tears start to fill his eyes, blurring the world around him. His heart beating faster as his mind is flooded with the worst things he could think of.
"Acid!" Film yells, cutting through the air like a knife. His voice sweet to Acid's ears. His smile returns as tears roll down his cheeks. The world turns back to normal as Film squeezes through the crowd.
"Film!" Acid yells, running over to him.
"Acid I found a great ga.." Film is interrupted when Acid hugs him. Tears running down his eyes and down Film's chest. Film looks down in confusion as he watches his brother cry against his chest. Film wraps and arm around Acid's back and sits down.
"Please don't leave me again," Acid says through tears. Film's face falters as he squeezes Acid tighter to his chest. The two sit there as Acid lets out his tears into Film's chest. Film combs his hoof threw Acid's hair as he places his head on top of Acid's.
"Don't worry, I'll never leave your side as long as you want," Film wispears before pulling away and lifting Acid's face with a hoof. "Now let's go have some fun. There are a few prizes with our names on them,"
The two smile as they get up. Acid wipes the tears from his eyes as the two walk back into the sea of ponies.

Acid and Film walk up a booth with glass milk bottles stacked in a pyramid. The pegasus mare running the booth greats them. The mare has long orange hair that is tied up in a ponytail with light orange highlights. Her soft blue eyes contrast nicely with her bright green fur.
"What could I do you for," The mare says with a deep Scottish accent. She leans against the table as the brothers look at the price.
"Five balls each please," Film says as Acid pulls ten bits from his saddle bag. He places the bits on the table as the mare places ten balls in front of the two colts.
Acid grabs a ball with his hooves, closing one eye to line up the shot with the tower of bottles. Film grabs one with his wing and stands up on his hind legs, leaning against the table with his front hooves.
Acid throws the first ball and completely misses the bottles. The ball doesn't even reach the table, falling short. He quickly picks up another ball as Film throws his ball. It hits and knocks off the top three bottles.
Acid throws again and hits the table, bouncing away as Film throws another and knocks down the enter tower.
"Yes!" FIlm yells as he hoof bumps the air. Acid's ears flip down against his head as he looks down at his next ball. He picks it up and rolls it around in his hoofs. Film got his money back for the balls not used and a little stuffed animal of a royal guard.
He turns to Acid and his smile fades immediately when he sees Acid frown. Acid throws again, but this time with less effort. The ball fell very short. Film wraps his wing around Acid's body. He flinches at his brother's touch.
He looks over at Film. Film looks down at Acid with a warm smile. This warms Acid's heart and gives him back his confident smile. He raises the ball over his head, with Film helping him out. The two move in unison, throwing the ball at the tower of bottles. The ball strikes the center of the tower and knocks them all down in one go.
"Yes!" The two yell at the same time, hugging each other. The mare places a stuffed Celestia on the table. Acid picks it up and the two walk away in a chatter of excitement.

Acid, Film, Glass, and Avi sit on a picnic blanket in the middle of the night at a park with hundreds of other ponies waiting for the sun to rise.
"It's going to be so cool when Celestia flies up into the air and uses her magic to raise the sun up!" Acid says, stretching his arms into the air like Celestia does while flying up.
"I don't see why it's so great," Film says, leaning against Acid's side.
"You'll understand when you see it!" Acid says, wrapping an arm around Film. Film chuckles before responding.
"Not like you've ever seen her do it,"
"No," Acid says before pausing and thinking. "But I have heard others talk about it. And it sounds amazing!"
"I remember this night," Avi says, looking up at the night sky. The moon with the mare in it high above them, slowly going down. Glass smiles and leans into Avi's chest. She sighs as she rubs her head against his chest. Avi hugs her neck as Glass listens to his heart beat.
(Rewind)
Year 980
Avi and Glass sit down at the top of the hill overlooking the park. Glass has her hair in a ponytail while Avi's was combed. Avi had a nice blue vest on while Glass wore a pink dress. The two sit there awkwardly as they look up at the night sky. Glass shifts awkwardly as she fidgets with her hoofs. Avi looks over at Glass looking down at the ground.
"What's wrong hunny bun?" Avi asks, wrapping an arm around Glass's back. She flinches slightly before leaning into him. Avi leans his head against the top of hers as he rubs her back. She takes a deep breath before sighing.
"Avi, remember when I said I had to tell you something?" She asks in a slightly sad tone.
"Ya?" Avi replies.
"Avi.. I-i'm.." She stops as she shakes slightly.
"You're what?" Avi replies.
"Avi! I'm Pregnant!" Glass yells, her eyes starting to water. Avi freezes as the news sinks into his skull. Glass pulls away to look at Avi, who was completely frozen. Glass looks at him more worryingly every second that goes by.
Finally Avi speaks up, "YOU PREGNANT!" He yells in shock. Glass flinches from the sudden yelling. Avi takes a few deep breaths ti calm down his heart before continuing in a more calm manner.
"How, when?" Avi asks.
"I found out a week ago," Glass replies.
"Haha!" Avi laughs with a goofy smile on his face and wide eyes. He places a hoof on his forehead and combes through his striped hair. "I'm going to be a dad," Glass smiles at Avi's reaction. Tears start to form in Avi's eyes as the realization sinks in. "I'm going to have a son or daughter!" Avi yells as he hugs Glass. Glass hugs back, the two sitting there in their own tears of joy.
"My dad is going to kill me!" Avi says as it dawns on him before he pulls away frantically. "He dosn't like me having sex before marage," Avi says, messing his hair up in shock.
"Avi, will you marry me?" Glass asks frantically.
"What?!"
"Will you marry me?!"
"Yes! Celestia Yes I'll marry you!" Avi says, quickly kissing her on the lips. Glass smiles before kissing back as the sun starts to rise.

Present Day
"The sun is rising!" Acid yells in excitement as he watches Celestia fly up into the air. Glass's eyes open up slowly. She sits up and looks around in confusion.
"Good morning hunny," Avi says, rubbing her back. She looks from her sons watching the sun rise to her husband. She smiles and kisses Avi on the lips. She pulls back and rests her head against his chest.
"Not to complain, but what was that for?" Avi asks, squeezing her tighter to his body.
"For being a wonderful father for my boys," Glass says, sleepy. Avi chuckles as he watches her fall asleep again.
