Chapter 21: New Allies and New Enemy
Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Tod, Tor, Amity, Kirby, and Katara leave Weyard and return to the Gummi ship to continue their journey, but as they're about to head for the next world, the ship's screen appears, revealing Chip.
"Fellas! We have a problem!" Chip said.
"What's wrong?" Arthur asked.
"Apparently, there's a huge Heartless reading goin' on in Traverse Town!" Chip said.
"It's VERY bad!" Dale said.
"What? Heartless are still in town?" Sora asked.
"But Sora sealed the Keyhole. They can't be back." Amity said.
"That's true, but a very strong darkness is lurking in town. Better hurry and investiagte it." Chip said, as the screen turns off.
"Well, back to Traverse Town." Donald said.
"Leon and Erza should have an idea of what this strong dark reading is." Twilight said.
"Let's hurry." Katara said, as the Gummi ship uses Warp Drive to teleport.
The Gummi ship warps back to Traverse Town and the group disembark.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the back alley of Traverse Town, a dark corridor appears, revealing what looks like a figure wearing a black and dark green organic bodysuit with a Heartless symbol on the bodysuit's chest, black and dark green torn loincloth around the waist, and wearing a black helmet mask with the same Heartless symbol in the center of the mask.
"So, are you ready to test your strength?" A voice asked, revealing Ruber, who also emerges from the dark corridor.
"Yes, Master Ruber. When will they be arriving?" The masked figure asked and it's a dark boy voice.
"Very soon. Arthur and Sora will be coming. I want you to test your powers, as well as theirs, but make sure you don't kill Arthur. He's mine. You can do what you want to Sora." Ruber said.
"I understand, Master. It will be done." The masked boy said.
"Good. And remember, have fun." Ruber said, going for the dark corridor before it disappears.
Meanwhile in the First District, the group return to the town, only to find the district empty.
"It's quiet..." Arthur said.
"TOO quiet..." Goofy said, looking around.
"Where is everybody?" Sora asked.
"It's just like last time. If the Heartless are really back..." Tor was cut off.
"Poyo!" Kirby said, pointing at Soldiers, Air Soldiers, Large Bodies, Yellow Operas, and tiny violet Heartless known as Violet Minuets appear.
"Wak! Heartless!" Donald said, taking out his staff.
"They ARE back!" Amity said, conjuring pink magic.
"Well, you know what to do!" Sora said, taking out his Keyblade.

(Information: Defeat the Heartless!)
The Soldiers deliver spin kick attacks while the Air Soldiers deliver aerial strikes, but Arthur casts Hypno to put the Heartless to sleep and then triple slashes with Excalibur followed by Crescent Slash and then casts Blazra while Sora aerial slashes at the Air Soldiers with Kingdom Key and then casts Gravity to bring them down, but the Large Bodies slam on the ground, creating shock waves. Donald casts Sleep to make the Heartless sleep and then casts Blizzara followed by casting Thunder while Twilight creates a barrier around her and then uses Barrier Surge and then shoots magic blasts, but the Yellow Operas unleash lightning attacks to strike while the Violet Minuets unleash poison to deal damage to the group. Tor vertical slashes with his sword followed by Sword Spin while Goofy uses Tornado while Kirby inhales a Violet Minuet, becoming Violet Minuet Kirby and unleashes his own poison, but the Air Soldiers fly around and then deliver air kicks while the Large Bodies deliver their belly charge attacks, only for Amity to use her Abomination to use Shoulder Tackle at the Large Bodies while Katara aerial water whips at the Air Soldiers. The Yellow Operas deliver lightning surge attacks while the Violet Minuets unleash globs of poison, but Tod uses Growl while Arthur uses Mjolnir and slams Excalibur on the ground, unleashing magic waves and then delivers the final sword slam while Sora summons Simba, who uses Proud Roar and they defeat the Heartless.
"Chip and Dale weren't kidding when they said the Heartless were back." Twilight said.
"It has to be that strong darkness somewhere in town. That's gotta be what the Heartless're attracted to." Goofy said.
"But what's causing the strong darkness?" Sora asked.
"More like WHO?" Tor asked.
"Hmm..." Arthur starts thinking.
"Artie?" Sora asked.
"Just using my head. I mean, the cause of darkness can be ANYONE, don't you think?" Arthur asked.
"Arthur might be onto something. It's obvious they're attracted to darkness in people's hearts, so whose heart is full of darkness?" Amity asked.
"Well, everyone's heart is full of darkness, including ours, but there has to be someone with an evil intent." Katara said.
"Right. Maybe Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, or Ruber." Arthur suggested.
"Or Gideon, Azula, and Kay." Donald said.
"Or the Darkest Faerie." Tor said.
"They might be in town right now." Arthur said.
"We'll figure this out later. Let's go find Leon, Erza, and the others. They might have an idea." Sora said.
"Good thinking. They should be at the house in the Third District." Twilight said.
"Okay. Let's get moving." Arthur said.
(Information: Find Leon and Erza!)
The group make their way for the Third District and they find Cid.
"Cid." Goofy said.
"Oh, howdy, guys. Back again?" Cid asked.
"Yeah, we heard there're Heartless around here." Twilight said.
"Yep, they're all over the place." Cid said.
"And what's more is that I sealed this town's Keyhole, so they shouldn't be back, but we heard a strong darkness is somewhere in town." Sora said.
"Maybe. You guys gonna see Leon and Erza?" Cid asked.
"That's what we're doing right now." Katara said.
"Well, careful out there. Lotsa Heartless're lurkin'. I know y'all can handle 'em, but better stay on yer toes." Cid said.
"We will. Thanks." Arthur said.
The group make their way for the Second District and as they continue heading for the Third District, more Soldiers and Air Soldiers appear and attack, only for Arthur to slash with Excalibur while Sora slashes with his Keyblade while Donald casts Fira while Goofy bashes with his shield while Twilight shoots magic bolts while Tor uses Sword Thrust while Tod uses Tackle while Amity uses her Abomination to attack while Kirby swings his hammer while Katara shoots ice daggers and they defeat the Heartless and continue going through the Second District and head for the door to the Third District.
The group return to the Third District and go for the house and enter it to find Leon, Erza, Yuffie, Gray, Aerith, and Lucy.
"Hey, you're back!" Yuffie said.
"We heard this town's having a Heartless problem." Sora said.
"Yeah and it's good you're here to help out." Gray said.
"But the Keyhole was sealed, so the Heartless shouldn't be back here." Arthur said.
"But we heard a strong darkness is somewhere in this town." Amity said.
"Maybe." Leon said.
"We're unsure where the darkness is coming from, but that must be what the Heartless are attracted to." Erza said.
"There're Heartless all over the First District, Second District, and even here." Lucy said.
"Luckily, everyone evactuated, but the Heartless activity is getting worse." Aerith said.
"Leave that to us and we'll also investigate that strong dark reading." Sora said.
"Sounds like you got a plan already. Just be careful. You might be able to handle Heartless, but you have to remember they're not slouches. Don't let your guards down." Leon said and they nod.
"We'll also help how we can. In fact, here's what we'll do; Leon and I will handle things in the First District. Gray and Yuffie will be going to the Second District. Lucy and Aerith will handle things in the Third District." Erza said.
"In that case, we'll help out too." Arthur said and they nod.
"Great. By the way, we have some additional help. They'll be joining us in protecting the town too." Lucy said.
"Who're they?" Goofy asked.
"You'll find out soon enough." Aerith said.
"Okay. Since we're in the Third District right now, I guess we'll handle the Heartless here." Katara said.
"In that case, Aerith..." Lucy stops talking.
"Right." Aerith said.
"You sure you two can handle things?" Donald asked.
"Oh, just watch us." Aerith said.
"You'll be surprised at what we can do." Lucy said, as they leave the house.
"Don't worry. Lucy and Aerith know what they're doing. Just help them out here and then meet us at the other districts." Leon said.
"Got it!" Arthur and Sora said.
"Good luck." Yuffie said, as they leave the house.
"Time to go." Amity said and they nod.
"Hey, Artie." Sora said.
"Yeah?" Arthur asked.
"If things really get rough, don't hesitate to back out. I can handle the fighting." Sora said.
"I appreciate it, Sora, but I wanna do my part too. I'm done having people fight for me. It's time I proved myself." Arthur said.
The group leave the house and return outside to meet Lucy and Aerith at the district's plaza.
"Here they come..." Aerith said, as many Large Bodies, Volt Vipers, Blue Rhapsodies, and Bronze Boleros appear.
"Ready?" Lucy asked, taking out golden keys.
"Let's do this!" Aerith said, taking out a staff.
"Okay, let's go all out!" Sora said.
(Information: Fight with Aerith and Lucy and defeat the Heartless!)
The Large Bodies double punch while the Volt Vipers slither around while unleashing lightning trails, but Arthur vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by two 360 slashes and then uses Ignia's fire magic to unleash flaming pillars while Sora delivers four slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Blitz and then casts Fira, but the Blue Rhapsodies unleash ice shards while the Bronze Boleros unleash rocks. Lucy uses one of her gold keys to summon a bull like figure known as Taurus, who attacks with his axe followed by creating a quake while Aerith shoots magic shots from her staff and then unleashes a barrage of magic bolts followed by casting Fira, but the Volt Vipers deliver electric bites while the Bronze Boleros cause earthquakes. Donald casts Gravity followed by casting Blizzara while Twilight shoots magic bolts followed by casting Volt, but the Large Bodies slam on the ground to unleash shock waves while the Blue Rhapsodies shoot more ice shards, only for Katara to shoot two water blasts while Tor uses Dancing Blade while Goofy uses Charge, but the Bronze Boleros unleash more rocks while the Blue Rhapsodies create ice mist. Kirby uses Final Cutter while Tod uses Tail Whip while Amity shoots pink fireballs, but the Large Bodies get angry and try to charge at the group, only for Aerith to unleash more magic bolts followed by casting Thunder while Lucy summons a scorpion like figure known as Scorpio, who unleashes a giant whirlwind while Arthur casts Frostra while Sora casts Fira and they defeat the Heartless.
"That's it for here, but more will just keep coming." Lucy said.
"Guys, go help the others. Lucy and I will handle things here." Aerith said, as more Heartless appear.
"Okay, but be careful." Twilight said.
"You two got this." Sora said, as they leave the Third District.
The group return to the Second District, where they find Yuffie and Gray.
"Just in time..." Yuffie said, as Air Soldiers, Red Nocturnes, Croaker Terrors, and Violet Minuets appear.
"I've been waiting for an excuse to beat 'em to a pulp!" Gray said, unleashing ice on his fists.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Gray." Yuffie said, taking out shurikens.
"We're ready!" Sora said.

The Air Soldiers deliver aerial attacks while the Croaker Terrors unleash water blasts, but Sora horizontal slashes with Kingdom Key followed by two diagonal slashes and then casts Gravity while Arthur vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by using Naturae's nature magic to unleash vines, but the Red Nocturnes unleash fireballs while the Violet Minuets unleash globs of poison. Gray uses his Ice Make Magic to create what looks like an ice cannon and fires ice shots at the Heartless and then creates an ice hammer and delivers a giant bash while Yuffie throws three shurikens followed by throwing the fourth shuriken, but the Croaker Terrors use their tongues to attack while the Violet Minuets spread poison at the group. Amity uses her Abomination to use Hammer Fist while Goofy uses Tornado, but the Air Soldiers fly around the group and deliver flying somersault kicks while the Red Nocturnes shoot fireballs, but Kirby uses Hammer Spin while Tod uses Bite while Twilight unleashes four magic orbs followed by casting Gale while Donald casts Earthra, only for the Violet Minuets to unleash more globs of poison while the Red Nocturnes shoot fireballs. Katara uses Soak to deal great damage while Tor diagonal slashes with his sword followed by bashing with his shield, but the Air Soldiers keep flying to attack from above, only for Yuffie to take out a giant shuriken and throws it all over while Gray creates an ice sword and delivers many slashes with it while Arthur casts Volt while Sora casts Blizzara and they defeat the Heartless.
"Whew, hardly broke a sweat." Yuffie said.
"Still, more will..." Gray was cut off, as more Heartless appear and surround the group.
"C'mon, enough already!" Sora said.
"This is annoying!" Donald said.
"Don't worry. We can take 'em as many times as it takes!" Yuffie said.
Before the Heartless can attack, arrows rain down at the Heartless, destroying them.
"Huh?" Amity asked.
"What just happened?" Sora asked.
"I happened." A voice said and they see what looks like a red furred fox wearing a green tunic with a brown belt, green hat with a red feather, green leather shoes, and a quiver of arrows on his back while carrying a bow.
"Who're you?" Arthur asked, backing away slightly while Tod growls.
"Calm down. I'm no enemy. In fact, I was looking all over for you." The fox said.
"Lookin' for us?" Goofy asked.
"Why?" Donald asked, crossing his arms.
"Because the King asked me to." The fox answered.
"The King?!" Donald asked shocked.
"You mean King Mickey?" Goofy asked.
"That's right. You're Donald and Goofy, right?" The fox asked.
"Yeah, but why did the King ask you to find us?" Donald asked.
"He requested I travel with the Keybearer and that's you, right?" The fox asked Sora.
"Yeah, that's me. I'm Sora." Sora introduced.
"It's a pleasure to meet you at last, Keyblade master Sora." The fox said, taking off his hat and bowing.
"But who're you?" Twilight asked.
"I'm Robin Hood. An outlaw, but I'm noble." Robin Hood introduced.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Mr. Robin. If King Mickey asked you to help us, then welcome to the group." Arthur said, smiling.
"Yeah, thanks for the help." Sora said.
"Don't mention it. I also heard about this current Heartless crisis going on around town, so consider me at your service. Where you go, I shall follow." Robin said.
"Thanks. Good to have ya, Robin." Sora said.
(Robin Hood has joined you!)
"Well, it looks like you guys have a new ally. Anyway, you guys should go help Leon and Erza." Yuffie said.
"We'll take care of things here." Gray said.
"Okay, but try not to overexert yourselves." Katara said, as they leave the Second District.
The group return to the First District, where they find Leon and Erza.
"Any Heartless here?" Sora asked.
"Yeah and they're here now." Leon said, as Soldiers, Yellow Operas, Search Ghosts, and tiny azure Heartless known as Azure Serenades appear.
"Shall we, Leon?" Erza asked, taking out her sword.
"Let's, Titania." Leon said, taking out his Gunblade.
"Artie?" Sora asked.
"Yes." Arthur said.

The Soldiers attack the group with their claws while the Search Ghosts attack with their hands, but Arthur casts Hypno to make the Heartless sleep and then triple slashes with Excalibur followed by Magic Pulse while Sora casts to make the Heartless sleep as well and then vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by a wide slash, but the Yellow Operas unleash lightning while the Azure Serenades unleash streams of water. Erza enters a different type of armor known as Purgatory Armor and delivers a massive slash with her sword while Leon delivers triple slashes with his Gunblade followed by firing a fireball from his gun section, but the Search Ghosts disappear and reappear to attack with their hands while the Azure Serenades unleash orbs of water. Robin shoots three arrows and fires five more arrows, raining down at the Heartless while Tor uses Sword Spin while Amity summons two giant Abomination fists, which turn into hammers and smash together, only for the Soldiers to deliver leaping attacks to get the group while the Yellow Operas deliver lightning surges. Twilight uses Telekinesis to lift the Heartless and slams them to the ground while Kirby inhales an Azure Serenade, becoming Azure Serenade Kirby and unleashes water while Tod uses Skullbash, but the Search Ghosts try to drain the group's life while the Soldiers deliver spinning kick attacks, only for Donald to cast Blizzara followed by casting Gravity while Goofy uses Goofy Bash and throws his shield. The Azure Serenades unleash streams of water while the Yellow Operas unleash lightning bolts, only for Katara to use Freeze and then sends out water blasts while Erza enters Fire Empress Armor and then unleashes fire attacks while Leon makes his Gunblade glow with energy and delivers stronger slashes while Arthur uses Cyclone Blade while Sora uses Strike Raid and they defeat the Heartless.
"All clear for now." Leon said.
"But more will show up at any time." Amity said.
"By the way, we recently picked up a reading on the Heartless attack." Leon said.
"Really? Where?" Tor asked.
"The Fifth District." Erza answered.
"There's a FIFTH?" Donald asked.
"Then we'd better get through the Fourth District." Twilight said.
"Be careful. There's a massive darkness reading in that place. Might be the one you're supposed to investigate." Leon said.
"I think we'll be fine. Right, Artie?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure of it." Arthur said.
"Good luck and be careful." Erza said and they nod.
"To the Fifth District." Robin said.
(Information: Head for the Fifth District!)
The group head for the back alley and go through it while fighting off Heartless in their way and they later return to the Fountain Plaza, but as they keep moving, Soldier Heartless appear.
"Ugh, more Heartless!" Katara said.
"Get ready!" Sora said.
"RASENGAN!" A voice shouted, as someone delivers a diving strike with a light blue sphere and it strikes down the Soldiers, destroying them.
"What...?" Arthur asked.
"You guys okay?" The figure asked, revealing to be a boy with spiky blond hair, blue eyes, whisker like birthmarks on his cheeks, wearing an orange and black long-sleeve top, orange pants, and a headband with what looks like a leaf symbol on it.
"Yeah, but who are you?" Twilight asked.
"Naruto!" A voice called and arriving is a man with spiky white hair, an oynx right eye, wearing a black outfit with a dark green sleeveless vest closed over the outfit, black fingerless gloves, and the same headband with the leaf symbol covering his left eye. "I told you not to attack without my signal!" The man said.
"Sorry, Kakashi-sensei, but I found the right moment and took it." Naruto said.
"Well, at least no one got hurt." Kakashi said.
"Uh..." Sora was cut off, as more Soldiers appear.
"We'll talk later. Naruto, get ready!" Kakashi said, taking out a kunai.
"On it! Ready?" Naruto asked.
"Yes!" Arthur said.
(Information: Fight with Naruto and Kakashi and defeat the Heartless!)
The Soldiers attack the group with their claws, but Arthur delivers four slashes with Excalibur followed by a somersault slash and then casts Quakra while Sora delivers four slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Blitz, but the Soldiers deliver spinning kick attacks, only for Naruto to create a clone of himself and they both deliver punches followed by kicks and then Naruto creates another clone and then uses Rasengan while Twilight casts Gale followed by casting Blazra. The Soldiers deliver leaping attacks, only for Tod to use Tackle while Robin spins around while firing many arrows while Kakashi slashes with his kunai followed by two kicks and then unleashes lightning to strike, but the Soldiers retaliate with more spin kick attacks. Goofy bashes with his shield while Tor puts a Light Mote on his sword and horizontal slashes with his sword followed by a roundhouse light attack while Kirby uses Final Cutter, but the Soldiers attack with their claws and then deliver leaping attacks, only for Amity to use her Abomination to create spiked fists and delivers many punches. The Soldiers retaliate with more leaping attacks and then deliver spinning kick attacks, but Katara unleashes ice needles and throws them while Donald casts Earthra followed by casting Fira, only for the Soldiers to attack with their claws, but Sora uses Sonic Blade and dashes all over while attacking the Heartless while Arthur summons Confusia, who uses Confuse, Poison, Mini, and Stun and then casts Frostra and they defeat the Heartless.
"Thanks for the help." Goofy said.
"Heh, don't mention it." Naruto said.
"Are you two the allies Lucy mentioned?" Amity asked.
"You could say that." Kakashi said.
"So, does that mean...?" Sora asked.
"Yeah... Our village is gone." Kakashi said, as Naruto clenches his fists in anger.
"Oh... I'm really sorry to hear that. We went through that ourselves..." Arthur said.
"What happened?" Donald asked.
"Last thing I remember was that the Leaf was attacked by those Heartless. We fought with our comrades with everything we had to fight them off, but despite our best efforts, we were overpowered... My friends...they..." Naruto stops talking.
"I think we get it..." Arthur said.
"It's okay, Naruto. We did our best. We just have to make sure the same won't happen to the other worlds." Kakashi said.
"That's what we're doing too." Sora said.
"Let's work together to stop those Heartless." Arthur said.
"Heh, I like your guys' spirit." Naruto said.
"Anyway, we were told by Leon and Erza that you'd show up to handle this Heartless crisis." Kakashi said.
"We are and the source is from the massive darkness reading in the Fifth District." Amity said.
"The Fifth District?" Naruto asked.
"That makes sense. Well, if you're going to investigate, be on guard. Whatever the reading is, it's bound to be strong." Kakashi said.
"Don't worry, sir. We will." Arthur said.
"Naruto and I will help Leon, Erza, and the others fend off the Heartless how we can. We'll join you as soon as possible." Kakashi said.
"Good luck, guys. I'll be on my way to help out." Naruto said, as they both leave.
"Okay, let's hurry to the Fifth District." Robin said.
"Right. We gotta find that darkness." Twilight said.
The group go through the Foutain Plaza and later arrive at the Fourth District, where they find more Heartless, but they fight them off and continue on through the Fourth District, where they find a door.
"I've never seen this door before..." Arthur said.
"Maybe it'll lead to the Fifth District." Katara said.
"Let's have a look." Tor said, as they open the door, taking them to a different area.
(Fifth District)
The group arrive at the Fifth District of Traverse Town, where they find a big building in the center with small water surrounding it.
"That's a big building." Amity said.
"But where're the Heartless?" Goofy asked.
"Didn't they say it's crawling with them?" Sora asked.
"They're probably on the building. Let me use my magic." Twilight said, using her magic to teleport herself and the others on the building roof, which has glass.
"No sign of them here." Robin said.
"That's odd..." Arthur said.
"Oh, it's not odd. This place DID have Heartless, but I did away with them." A voice said.
"What was that?" Donald asked, looking around.
"Come out!" Tor yelled, as they see a figure at the top of the building.
The figure jumps off to confront the group, revealing to be the same masked boy.
"Let me guess, you're the one, who sent the Heartless here." Sora said.
"You guess right, for an idiot." The masked boy said.
"Don't insult him. Who are you anyway?" Arthur asked.
"I happen to be the newest recruit for Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and Ruber. Call me Bete Noire." Bete Noire introduced.
"Bete Noire?" Robin asked.
"I wouldn't bother remembering the name, since you'll forget it soon enough." Bete Noire said in a dark and threatening tone.
"Why's that?" Twilight asked.
"Because I'll be making a grave right here for you idiots." Bete Noire said.
"Ha! A grave? That's funny! Maybe you don't realize, but we're tougher than you think." Sora said.
"If it's a fight you want, you'll get it." Amity said.
"You're either brave or stupid. Let me teach you what happens when you challenge me." Bete Noire said, summoning two sabres with black blades with the right having an azure hilt while the left has a crimson hilt from darkness. "Nobody lasts long against me. You'll find out why." Bete Noire said.
"Okay, Bete Noire. We don't have to fight, but you're not giving us an option." Arthur said, taking out Excalibur while Sora summons his Keyblade.
"Heh..." Bete Noire unleashes black energy, sending back Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Tod, Tor, Amity, Kirby, Katara, and Robin.
"Guys!" Sora said.
"Let's see how long you two last without them." Bete Noire said.
"Okay, let's do this..." Arthur said.
"Try to make this interesting." Bete Noire said.
(Boss Theme: Black Tempest)

Bete Noire slashes at both Arthur and Sora with his two sabres followed by unleashing a black blade, only for Sora to dodge roll and then delivers four slashes at the masked boy with Kingdom Key followed by a spinning slash and then uses Sonic Blade, only for Bete Noire to vanish in black mist and reappears above Sora and delivers a diving strike with his sabres, but Arthur quickly blocks the attack and delivers three slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Blazra. Bete Noire disappears in black smoke and reappears behind the blond boy and slashes with his sabres followed by summoning a shadow hand from the ground and delivers a giant punch at Arthur and then Bete Noire conjures black and crimson energy in his left sabre and throws it at Arthur, sending the blond back. Sora casts Blizzara to try and freeze the masked boy, who summons a shadow hand from behind the Keyblade wielder and the shadow hand starts to attack, only for Sora to quickly block the attack and tries to counter, but the shadow hand grabs the Keyblade and slams Sora to the ground, creating cracks on the glass roof. Bete Noire charges at Sora, who counters and diagonal slashes with Kingdom Keyto strike at the dark entity, who turns to Arthur, who summons Naturae, who summons vines to hold down Bete Noire, who slashes the vines, only for Arthur to land three slashes with Excalibur while Sora delivers a big swing with Kingdom Key.
"Heh, you two twerps are not half bad, BUT..." Bete Noire stops talking, as he charges black and crimson energy in his left sabre while charging black and azure energy in his right sabre. "You're both goin' down!" Bete Noie said, jumping high into the air with his energy coated sabres. "BLACK DESPAIR!" Bete Noire shouted, diving down at the glass roof, creating a dark explosion, causing everyone to fall into the building and are now in the lobby.
"That attack..." Katara stops talking.
"That was dangerous..." Arthur said.
"Heh, so you got some tricks up your sleeves! So do we! Artie, show him!" Sora said.
"Right." Arthur said, as Excalibur glows, releasing the cyan heart, transforming into a Faerie with light blue spiky hair, misty wings, wearing a light blue and white icy dress, and having ice crystal earrings.
"Let me guess, you're my new master? Thanks, I guess. Call me Glacies, Faerie of Ice. Let me put this loser on ice." Glacies said, summoning ice crystals and unleashes blizzards at Bete Noire, dealing some damage.
"That's amazing." Arthur said.
"I know. Good luck now." Glacies said, disappearing.
"So you have a fly to help you out? How predictable." Bete Noire said, making Arthur blush with embarrassment.
"Shut up! Don't ever make fun of Artie!" Sora yelled.
"I'll shut YOU up!" Bete Noire yelled, as he summons ten shadow hands and they surround the two. "You wanna call it quits or die?" Bete Noire asked.
"Neither." Arthur said, as he tries to attack, but the shadow hands begin punching him, dealing damage.
"Artie!" Sora cried, but Bete Noire delivers a powerful knee strike at the Keyblade wielder and then dash slashes with his sabres, delivering great damage.
"This kid's a danger..." Robin said.
"We have to help!" Twilight said.
"Back off!" Bete Noire yelled, unleashing black energy to send them back.
"I'm not done yet...!" Arthur said, getting rid of the shadow hands and tries to attack Bete Noire, who disappears in black mist.
Bete Noire reappears behind the blond boy and delivers a giant kick at Arthur's side.
"Time to finish you off!" Bete Noire said, summoning ten more shadow hands, as they grab both Arthur and Sora, sending them into the air. "Noire..." Bete Noire summons eight more shadow hands, as they begin punching at both Arthur and Sora non-stop. "...10K Darkness Destruction!" Bete Noire yelled, as the shadow hands keep punching the two boys and then Bete Noire and his shadow hands deliver a powerful strike, as Bete Noire throws his two sabres, as the azure blade goes for Arthur while the crimson blade goes for Sora, unleashing a dark blast, severely injuring the two and Sora is barely conscious while Arthur is unconscious.
"No...!" Twilight cried.
"STOP!" Katara shouted.
"You two are losers! Just worthless! Honestly, I know Master Ruber told me not to kill you, Arthur, but this is just too much fun to stop! You're both finished here! So, which do ya want me to cut? Actually, the better idea is to cut both of you up wide open, rip your hearts out, and deliver 'em to my masters!" Bete Noire said, going for the two boys, but then, a shield and arrow fly at Noire's face making him jump back.
"Get away from them!" Robin yelled, readying another arrow.
"Now you're dealin' with us!" Donald yelled, pointing his staff.
"Ugh, bad enough I have to deal with a couple of weaklings, but fighting pets and losers would be boring." Bete Noire said.
"Just who are you, Bete Noire?" Katara asked.
"Shut up! Shut your worthless mouths!" Bete Noire yelled, only for Tod to bite the masked boy's leg. "Get off me, you worthless runt!" Bete Noire yelled, kicking Tod off his leg. "Enough of this! I'll just kill all of you!" Bete Noire yelled.
Just then, a figure jumps from the roof of the building and a slash occurs at Bete Noire, who backs off.
"What?" Tor asked.
"What just happened?" Amity asked.
"Get away from them, you creep!" The figure yelled, emerging from the shadows, revealing to be a girl with ash blonde hair tied to pigtails, green eyes, wearing a black trench coat like robe, red and black skirt, white gloves, and black and white shoes, and carrying a scythe with a white handle and red curved blade.
"Heh, another idiot, who wants to die? Fine by me!" Bete Noire said, who charges at the girl, who dodges.
The girl swings her scythe to attack Bete Noire, who dodges and slashes with his sabres followed by unleashing shadow hands, only for the girl to slash at the shadow hands with her scythe and tries to deliver an upper strike with her scythe, only for Noire to back off and delivers a hard kick at the girl's chest, sending her back, but the girl uses her scythe to skid to stop.
"I'm not down and not out!" The girl yelled.
"Just give up and die!" Bete Noire said, but then, kunais fly at Noire, making him back off again.
"Get away, jerk!" A voice yelled and Naruto appears.
"Naruto?" Twilight asked.
"In the flesh! Sorry I'm kinda late, but then again, heroes tend to be late." Naruto said, grinning.
"Ugh, just one bug after another to show up! You guys just make things boring! Look, I'm in a generous mood, so I'll let 'em off for today. Hey, Spiky! When Arthur, wakes up, tell him to put up a more decent fight next time. Later." Bete Noire said, disappearing in darkness.
"Jerk...!" Sora said.
"What a big chicken" Donald said.
"Donald, seriously, for once, just shut up!" Amity yelled, making the duck mage glare at the witchling.
"This isn't the last we'll see him. I feel it." Naruto said.
"We gotta help Sora and Arthur." Goofy said.
"Right. Twilight, Donald, I could use some help." Katara said.
"Right." Twilight said.
"Okay." Donald said, as they go for Sora and Arthur.
"Tend to Artie. He needs more help." Sora said, casting Cure on himself, recovering his injuries.
Twilight casts Mend while Donald casts Cure while Katara uses her Waterbending to heal Arthur and recover his injuries.
"Huh? What happened?" Arthur asked, waking up.
"Bete Noire beat us and he left." Sora said, offering his hand, which Arthur takes to get back up.
"Luckily we drove him out." Naruto said.
"Oh..." Arthur said, looking down at the ground.
"Don't worry. He might have left for now, but we'll win against him next time." Robin said.
"That guy's a massive jerk." The girl said.
"Oh, thanks for the help." Amity said.
"Don't mention it. I was actually looking for that masked creep throughout town and came across to this district. Glad we were here to help too." The girl said.
"We?" Tor asked.
"Yo, Maka? We clear or what?" A voice asked.
"Who said that?" Twilight asked.
"Oh, that's my partner. All clear, Soul!" Maka said, as the scythe glows, transforming into what looks like a male figure with white hair, red eyes, wearing a yellow and black jacket, a sweatband with a sticker with a mouth bearing fangs, as well as saying 'SOUL', maroon pants, and yellow and black sneakers.
"Huh? The hell are these punks?" The male asked.
"Watch it!" Sora yelled.
"Shut up, Spike head!" The male said.
"Um, I think an introduction is in order." Donald said.
"Oh, right. Sorry. Name's Maka Albarn. Scythe Meister." Maka introduced.
"Meister?" Arthur asked confused.
"Hehehe... This kid's dumb as a rock." The male said, making Arthur look down at the ground.
"Maka...CHOP!" Maka shouted, delivering a strong chop on the male's head, making it in half while he's on the ground knocked out.
"Wow... She's like Sakura..." Naruto said, sweat dropping.
"Okay, note to self; never irritate her." Tor said.
"I like her." Amity said, crossing her arms and smirking.
"Poyo..." Kirby said in fear.
"Sorry about his attitude. This is Soul Evans. He's my weapon partner." Maka introduced Soul.
"So, he and that scythe..." Sora stops talking.
"Yep, he's the scythe and my weapon partner, like I just said." Maka said.
"He changes into a weapon?" Twilight asked.
"Well, yeah. You saw it yourselves." Maka said.
"Well, thank you for your help, Maka." Arthur said.
"Don't mention it. Well, looks like that masked jerk's gone, so I guess that's it around here." Maka said.
"Guess we should go see Leon and Erza." Sora said.
"Agreed. I think this town should be Heartless free." Twilight said, as they leave the building.
The group return to the First District, where they find Leon, Erza, and Kakashi.
"Welcome back. Looks like Naruto was right to check on you guys. How was the Fifth District?" Kakashi asked.
"We found who was responsible for the Heartless." Arthur said.
"But..." Sora stops talking.
"He left." Katara said.
"I see." Leon said.
"We did our best against him, but..." Amity was cut off.
"Don't worry. Least the Heartless're gone, for now." Naruto said.
"Regardless, you've done well. Thank you." Erza said.
"No problem." Arthur said.
"By the way, something's going on at the accessory shop. People are saying it's a moving toy." Leon said.
"Moving toy...?" Tor asked.
"We should have a look." Donald said, as they go into the accessory shop.
The group enter the accessory shop to find the moving toy, but they later find something hiding behind a counter and it's a small boy with black hair, blue eyes, wearing a tan short-sleeve shirt with a black vest, red shorts, and yellow hat with a small red feather, and black shoes.
"What the...?" Twilight asked.
"Huh? You found me?" The boy asked.
"Are you the moving toy?" Robin asked.
"Well, I'm actually a puppet." The puppet boy said.
Just then, Jiminy hops out of Sora's hood to see the puppet.
"Well, well, well! As I live and breathe! It's Pinocchio!" Jiminy said, jumping down to the puppet.
"Oh, hi, Jiminy!" Pinocchio said.
"What in the world are you doin' here?" Jiminy asked.
"Um, playin' hide-and-seek." Pinocchio said.
"I just don't believe it. Here I was, up all night, just worried sick about you. Why of all the..." Jiminy stops talking, as he sees Pinocchio's nose growing a little longer. "Pinocchio? Are you telling me the truth?" Jiminy asked.
"Yes." Pinocchio answered.
"Then what's this?" Jiminy asked, pointing at an item next to the puppet.
"It was a present from the boy in the mask." Pinocchio said.
"What?!" Arthur and Sora asked shocked.
"Pinoke, no fibbin' now! You know you're not supposed to tell lies. A lie only grows and grows until you're caught. Plain as the nose on your face." Jiminy said.
"But if you want something, why wait? Why not just take it? That's what the masked boy told me." Pinocchio said.
"That boy in the mask was lying to you and you shouldn't listen to him." Arthur said.
"He's right, Pinoke. You only need advice from your conscience." Jiminy said.
"That's right, Jiminy! You're my conscience. I'll never lie when you're around." Pincchio said, as his nose gets small again.
"You need to be good so you can be a real boy. You promised Geppetto." Jiminy said.
"Oh, do you know where Father is?" Pinocchio asked.
"He's not with you?" Jiminy asked.
"Jiminy, let's go find Father." Pinocchio said.
"Hold on, Pinoke. There are lots of dangers and temptations out there. I'll find Geppetto while you wait here. These fine folks will help me." Jiminy said.
"We will?" Sora asked.
"Shall we get going?" Jiminy asked.
"Um, Mr. Jiminy, you could have asked us first." Arthur said.
"You're right, Arthur. I'm sorry." Jiminy said.
"But don't you worry, Pinocchio. We'll find your father for you." Arthur said.
"Thank you! I'll wait for here for Father to come back." Pinocchio said.
"Well, with Traverse Town safe, we oughta get goin'." Goofy said.
"Right. Let's go." Amity said, as they leave the shop.
The group make their way for the ship, but they see Maka and Soul waiting for them.
"Oh, it's you two." Twilight said.
"Can we help you?" Katara asked.
"Actually, is it okay if we come with you?" Maka asked.
"Wait, why?" Donald asked.
"Because, I'm trying to find the jerks that're responsible for the destruction of Death City and I intend to find those pieces of crap, so I can get my revenge." Maka said.
"You guys are on your own adventure, right? Well, Maka figured goin' with you guys would be easier to do." Soul said.
"So, to get this straight, you want to come with us just for revenge?" Tor asked.
"Not just that, but I wanna help stop the Heartless and find my friends too. Whaddya say?" Maka asked.
"I don't mind." Amity said.
"Okay, you can come with us." Donald said.
"Great! You guys won't regret this, I promise!" Maka said.
"Just try to stay outta my way." Soul said.
"Same to you." Sora said, as the two boys glare at each other.
"Welcome aboard, you two." Robin said.
(Maka Albarn and Soul Evans have joined you!)
"Well, ready to get going?" Amity asked.
"Yeah." Arthur said, as they start moving, but Arthur stops.
"Artie? What's wrong?" Sora asked.
"Nothing..." Arthur said.
"Look, I'm not too happy that we lost, but I promise we'll get stronger together. We'll show Silver Knight, Morgan, and Bete Noire who's boss." Sora said placing his hand on Arthur's shoulder.
"Thanks, Sora. I needed that." Arthur said, smiling.
"C'mon, let's get moving." Sora said, as they head for the Gummi ship and leave Traverse Town.
