Exterior: Dantooine: grove, afternoon.
Having captured Padawan Brood and Senator Organa, Ventress assured Maris, "This is nothing personal, little sister.
I love you, really, and I'd never willingly hurt you," before kissing her forehead and warmly hugging her.
Uncertain of what the Dark Jedi wanted, Bail asked, "Why are you doing this, Asajj? Ky Narec would be disgusted."
Crouching down to meet him at eye level, Ventress answered, "There's a Mando that the Sith Emperor wants dead.
You're just bait, although Darth Sidious does want you dead.
But Dooku doesn't."
Bail cautiously asked, "Sith Emperor? And why would the Sith want me dead?
I'm just a simple public speaker."
"Exactly, your influence in the Senate makes you a threat to Lord Sidious's goals."
As a nearby presence unmasked itself, Asajj's eyes widened in sheer terror as she rose to her feet, trembling, sensing something or someone far more powerful in the light side than she'd ever felt.
Ventress slowly turned to see the imposing, masked figure of Starkiller standing before her, "No way! You're who I was sent to kill?"
"You would be wise to surrender." advised Starkiller.
Ventress regained her composure, ignited her red blades, leapt into the air, and slashed at Starkiller, only to be frozen in mid-air, whilst her sabers deactivated and fell to the ground, and blasted to the ground by purple lightning.
Standing over Asajj, he looked down upon her with pity, but she couldn't see his face so she mistakenly believed the opposite.
Fearfully looking into his helmet's visor, Asajj conceded, "Wait, no! Please don't! You win.
The Senator and Jedi are yours. There's no need to kill me now."
"You are a slave to the dark side."
"It was the Sith Emperor. He was too powerful.
I never stood a chance at resisting someone like him.
He corrupted me. But you… you can save me.
Please, just let me go, and I'll turn my back on the Sith."
(begin flashback)
Interior: undisclosed location.
Brought before a projection of the Emperor whose eyes were black as the void of space, on her knees, Asajj clutched her head and screamed in terror as she writhed in agony whilst her mind was invaded despite her mental shields being up, "No! No! Get out of my head! Stop!"
"I hold the patience of stone, and the will of stars.
You cannot resist my power, girl." snarled the Emperor, "now I will break you."
As his spirit appeared between the two, Ky Narec used all his strength in a vain effort to protect Asajj, but the Emperor destroyed him.
(end flashback)
Exterior: Dantooine, Grove.
Meetra appeared before them, "Asajj isn't beyond redemption, please spare her.
She can be redeemed if you give her the chance to be."
Following the will of the Force, the Mandalorian, who sensed an external force plaguing Asajj's mind, channeled pure light side energy to expel it from her mind, then extended a hand to the former Jedi who took it, triggering his psychometry.
As he helped her to her feet, Ventress, whose mind was clear, took off his helmet to see into his ocean blue eyes with her own eyes.
Asajj gently caressed his cheek, leaned in close, and deeply kissed him while Maris and Bail watched in surprised silence.
Stepping back as they parted lips, Galen compassionately offered, "The True Mandalorians will gladly take you in as one of our own.
You don't have to be alone, we can give you a home… a family.
The choice is yours to make, and take as long as you need.
There's also a crystal cave nearby for you to get new crystals."
With a small appreciative smile, Asajj quickly fled, taking her sabers with her.
As he approached them, Marek freed Maris and Bail, "Not to state the obvious, but I'm here to rescue you."
Bail replied, "Thank you, my friend."
Maris smiled, "Thanks for coming, Star."
"You feel that?" asked Galen, sensing a dark presence.
"Feel what?" asked Maris, "what is it?"
"Get the Senator back to the enclave.
I'm going to investigate the nearby ruins.
I sense something familiar.
It shouldn't take long."
"Be careful." said Maris who gave him a quick kiss.
Shortly thereafter.
Interior: Dantooine, surface, ancient ruins.
"The dark side's strong here. I can feel it.
And it feels so familiar." thought Galen before a droid approached him and spoke in a language he understood but didn't recognise.
Ancient droid said, "You are neither Builder nor slave.
If you seek the secrets of the Star Forge, you must first prove yourself worthy.
Only then will the sealed door be opened."
Galen asked, "Star Forge?"
"The Star Forge is the glory of the Builders, the apex of their Infinite Empire.
It is a machine of invincible might, a tool of unstoppable conquest."
Turning to look left, then right, Galen noted two rooms on opposite sides of a locked door at the end of the main room, "The tests must be in there." before his psychometry triggered.

A bald headed man in red armour, Alek said, "If we pass beyond this door, we can never go back.
The Order will surely banish us."
unsealing the door and activating an ancient machine, Revan revealed an incomplete star map.
(end vision)
Suddenly being shot at by another ancient droid as he entered one of the rooms, Galen drew his saber before narrowly dodging a carbonite blast, then he threw a second saber at the droid, passing through its shield and damaging it.
Getting up-close and personal with the droid, he used his sabers to cut off its carbonite projector, blasters and legs, lifted it into the air, smashed it against the ground, and tore it apart with the Force.
Inserting a datapad into the computer, he accessed the terminal which powered up.
The text on its screen read, "Name the 3 life giving environments." before listing 6 choices.
"1: Arboreal. 2: Oceanic. 3: Grassland.
4: Barren. 5: Volcanic. 6: Desert."
The young Jedi put in the first 3 digits, passing the test before he faced a similar test in the other room.
Opening the last door, he approached a tri-pillared machine as it opened up revealing Dantooine's piece of the star map.
Downloading it, he thought, "Four down, one to go."
"Galen, tread carefully on this path." cautioned Meetra's ghost as she appeared before him.
"I just want to make sure it's really been destroyed.
With the Empire back, I wanna make sure the Star Forge isn't."
"Revan was just as stubborn, both before and after."
Exterior: Dantooine, ancient ruins.
Having sealed the entrance to the ruins behind him on the way out, Starkiller was ambushed by 6 Sith assassins who ignited red blades.
The lead assassin stared directly at him, "The Emperor has offered a great reward to whoever destroys you."
Starkiller ignited his black blade, "He should've come himself."
"Prepare to die, Mandalorian." said one of the assassins before being the first to fall from their own arrogance.
Easily cutting down the would-be assassins without being the aggressor, Starkiller activated his comlink, "Juno, I'm done here."
"Affirmative, sending the Rogue Shadow to pick you up."
"I've also run into some assassins, I'll need their bodies taken away for identification."
"Copy that."
