"What the.." Acid thinks as his jaw slightly lowers. He looks around to see the throne room had been transformed into a party. Dark Blue balloons tied against tables with night sky patterns on them. Ponies from the cabinet and even the royal guard stand around talking about what could possibly be happening. Even a row of food and a ton of cake was set up along the wall on a few tables.
"What is going on?" Acid asks as Blood Moon looks over to see Acid.
"Acid!" She yells as she waves for him. Acid turns to look for the pony who had said his name. He smiles as he makes eye contact with Moon. He quickly walks over to her standing by a table.
"Do you know what's going on?" Acid asks.
"I was going to ask you that," Moon responds.
"I guess the princess is keeping this a secret,"
"Firebrand thinks it's about the intruder,"
"A party for a pony who broke in and didn't even steal anything?" Acid asks in genuine confusion.
"I said the same thing," Moon said through annoyed gritted teeth. "That stallion is very dense,"
"Any other ideas?"
"One of the ponies from the education division says it might have to do something with the hole Celestia disappearing and the night that had lasted slightly longer than normal,"
"You mean what happened a few days ago at the summer sun celebration when Twilight was sent off to ponyville then accidentally became a hero with her new friends?" Acid asks. Blood Moon looks at Acid with slight concern.
"What? I like reading the Canterlot newspaper," Acid shrugs as the doors to the throne room opens again. Everyone goes silent in an instant as Celestia walks into the room. Acid turns to look over at her.
Her white coat shining brighter than ever. Her multi-colored mane and tail are shining and moving even without the slightest hint of wind. Her smile is young like the day, but her tired eyes show otherwise. She was not wearing her crown or royal necklace. Mermers spread almost instantly when everyone noticed Celestia had walked in basically naked of her royal attire.
"What the heck?" Acid and Blood Moon wispear at the same time. Acid catches a movement behind Celestia. He slowly walks away from Moon to get a better look. His eyes widen a bit as he sees, hidden behind Celestia and basically hugging her left side, a slightly taller then normal mare alicorn standing behind her. Her dark blue fur and light blue mane instantly makes her recognisable.
"The mare on the moon," Acid wispears. No one else seems to have put this together yet.
"We toldeth thee this was lacking valor idea," the mare wispear to Celestia.
"Don't worry," Celestia says, wrapping an arm around the mare's body as she whispers into her ear. "Once I explain, I know at least one pony who will say hi," Celestia says, eyeing Acid, who was looking over at the mare in Celestia's hooves.
Celestia stratens up and removes her hoof from the mare's body before speaking up so everyone can hear her. "My dear ponies, I know you must have a lot of questions for me. First, I will clear up that yes, an evil pony tried to take over equestria during the summer sun celebration,"
This news causes the room to erupt into a slight panic of whispers. Ponies talking to each other as Celestia continues on. "She has been taken care of by a brave group of ponies that my student Twilight Sparkle had assembled on her trip to Ponyville to check on the celebration,"
"Twilight Sparkle?" A few questions get thrown around about the socially inept unicorn.
"Who is she?" Another responds. Acid rolls his eyes at how ignorant some ponies so close to Celestia could be.
"And in the end, she was able to bring back someone special to me. My dear little sister and co-ruler. Everyone, meet Princess Luna," Celestia nudges Luna a bit closer to the front. She looks around nervously as the whispers start spreading again. Ponies judging her almost immediately, no one stepped forward to even say.
Acid looks around for a second before taking a deep breath in and walking past the group of ponies. His heart racing as he pushes past the group that had formed around the sisters. The ponies watch as Acid walks up to Luna. He stops a respectful distance away before bowing in front of her.
"It is an honor to meet you Princess," Acid says in his most respectful tone he could muster. Luna looks at Acid before looking up at Celestia. Celestia smiles and nods. Luna looks back down at Acid before speaking up.
"Thee can riseth subject," Luna says, gesturing to him to rise. He stands back up with a small smile on his face. Luna can't help but give a little smile back. "What is thy nameth?"
"My name is Acid Flask,"
"It's nice to meeteth thee Acid Flask," Luna replies. The other ponies seeing this get more comfortable and one by one start to go up to Luna like Acid did. Acid walks away with a smile on his face as he heads over to the table with all the food and drinks.

"Can they moveth out of our way?" Luna asks as she tries to push through the crowd that had formed around her in the past half an hour. She looks around for a friendly face when her eyes land on Acid filling up his cup with punch. She smiles and quickly walks over to him, avoiding questions from other ponies.
Acid turns around right as Luna makes it to him. "Hi Princess," Acid says before sipping his punch.
"It's nice to seeth thee again," Luna replies with a small smile.
"You're gonna have to work on that Ponish," Acid replies with a small chuckle.
"Tis prop'r talketh," Luna replies, slightly offended.
"One thousand years ago," Acid replies. "Ponish has changed,"
"We seest thou point," Luna replies, a bit sheepishly.
"So, how is it going?" Acid asks as he sips again from his cup.
"I doth not seeth how we would knoweth what it is going?" Luna asks, causing Acid to spit out his punch in surprise and laughter. "Did we sayeth something comical?"
"No," Acid says, recovering. "Well.. yes, but that's not the point," Acid waves away the questions. "I ment, how art thou," Acid says, doing his best impression of luna. Luna lets out a chuckle.
"Thee flatt'r us Acid," Luna replies. "And we are doing valorous now we are back," Acid looks at Luna with slight confusion.
"What does valorous mean?"
"This means to show most wondrous courage,"
"You really do need to work on that Ponish," Acid says with a light chukel.
"Could you teachest us new Ponish?" Luna asks.
"First off, stop adding est and eth. Also say it instead of this," Acid replies.
"Like this?" Luna asks.
"Yes, like that,"
"We are most delighted," Luna says with a big smile.
"And try not to refer to yourself as we,"
"But this is the royal we," Luna replies, slightly insulated.
"Ok," Acid replies, slipping his cup before continuing. "One step at a time,"
