Chapter 27
It has been 2 weeks since Harry returned. This had caused a bit of commotion within the wizarding community. People had thought he was an Inferi disguised with glamour charms. Parents were worried that he still had no control over his form but that didn't last long. Right now Goku and Harry clashed in their Super Saiyan 4 forms.
"That form is impressive Harry." Goku said.
"Thanks." Harry said.
"What have you been able to do with it?" Goku asked.
"Like your Super Saiyan 4 I can stack it with Kaio Ken times 20 and above since my body is now more adapted to the stress." Harry said.
"Good." Goku said.
Then Fleur ran up to them and they landed on the ground.
"Hey Fleur." Harry said.
"We got a problem." Fleur said.
"What is it?" Harry asked.
"It's about Raven. Come on." Fleur said.
Goku and Harry followed her to Dumbledore's office where Lily, Raven and Dumbledore were waiting for them along with James and Jack.
"What's going on?" Harry asked.
"There has been a development Harry. It appears that after you died, the goblet of fire decided to seek out magical signatures that are similar to yours. As a result it has chosen to forge the same magical contract you had with Raven and Jack." Dumbledore said.
"SON OF A BITCH!" Harry shouted slamming his fist onto a nearby table breaking it.
"Harry calm down." Lily said.
"How has this happened?" Harry asked.
"We are not sure. All we know is that Raven and Jack have to participate in the final task in two weeks otherwise they lose their magic." Dumbledore said.
"This is your fault." James said.
"Hey! This is not his fault." Lily said.
"If he hadn't killed himself then this wouldn't have happened." James said.
"Do you want to die today?" Goku asked.
"What did you say to me?" James asked.
"That's enough. No one is to blame." Dumbledore said.
"I don't want to compete." Raven said.
"I wish there was some way I can help but alas I can't." Dumbledore said.
"My son had better complete the task." James said.
"You talking to me?" Harry asked.
"Yes I am." James said.
Harry then grabbed James by his throat and slammed him on the ground.
"You're so lucky I've got control over my dragon form." Harry said as James struggled to breath.
Goku then pulled Harry away from James who inhaled for air and coughed.
"I suggest you leave." Lily said.
James took one look at a glaring Goku and went to the Floo.
"If it is alright with you I will be back to train Jack the task." James said.
"That is acceptable." Dumbledore said as James left.
"I believe you will train Raven." Dumbledore said.
"I will." Harry said.
"You may go." Dumbledore said.
They left and Harry looked at Raven.
"We'll start your training tomorrow Raven." Harry said.
"I'm scared." Raven said.
"Don't be. You're strong Raven. I'll make sure you are more than ready for the task. Besides I'll be there if you're in trouble." Harry said.
Raven hugged him tightly.
12 hours later
Harry sat on a chair in his room watching Raven as she slept. Even though he was going to train her to become stronger he couldn't shake the fear of losing her in the task. He could see how much this was scaring her. From what Harry knew of the final task was that it is going to be set in a massive labyrinth which no doubt was going to be filled with monsters. He was snapped out of his thoughts as he felt his wrist communicator vibrate. He looked at it and it was from an unknown person.
'Meet me in the forbidden forest.' The message read.
He stood up and left the room. He teleported from the room to the forbidden forest. He looked around and saw nothing nor could he sense anything. He waited for a few minutes before runes appeared on the ground and a person appeared who Harry expected it to be.
"Hey Hunter." Harry said.
"Good to see you Harry. Glad to see you back from the dead." Hunter said as they man hugged.
"What was urgent that you needed to see me about at this time of night?" Harry asked.
"Everything is going according to plan." Hunter said.
"Good. Did you tell the muggle prime minister about Voldemort?" Harry asked.
"He is aware of him. When I told him that he used dark magic to evade death he thought I was going insane." Hunter said.
"Who wouldn't?" Harry asked.
"True." Hunter said.
"Alright. We currently have 47 votes." Harry said.
"Will you be able to bring your godfather and Lady Bones on our side?" Hunter asked.
"I will. Cyrus Greengrass will join our side as well. The Black family is a most ancient and noble house so that will give us 7 more votes. The Bones and Greengrass families will give us 4 each considering they both are an ancient house." Harry said.
"That will give us 62 votes." Hunter said.
"I have a plan to get us more." Harry said.
"62 votes will be more than enough to out vote anyone else." Hunter said.
"I know that but it doesn't hurt to have more." Harry said.
"Who are you going to bring to our cause?" Hunter asked.
"I'm going to get the Malfoy vote." Harry said.
"How the hell are you going to do that? Lucius Malfoy is a death eater and from what you have told me, his son is a death eater in the making." Hunter said.
"I know. I'm going to bring Ana and her mother Narcissa to our cause." Harry said.
"Isn't Narcissa a death eater as well?" Hunter asked.
"No. Ana told that she used to watch her mother get ready for parties all the time and she never saw the dark mark once." Harry said.
"I thought she supported Voldemort like her husband and sister." Hunter said.
"That's a common thought. Narcissa may have been at the meetings but she never truly was a part of the death eaters. She has tried to steer Draco in the right direction but the grip old Lucy has on Draco is too strong. At this point Draco is a lost cause." Harry said.
"How are you going to get Narcissa Malfoy to meet you in person?" Hunter asked.
"I'm not. I'm going straight to her at Malfoy Manor." Harry said.
"I see. Ana can get you inside the wards." Hunter said.
"Exactly. If old Lucy is there then I'll just knock him out, disarm Narcissa if she tries to attack me and just talk to her." Harry said.
"That is smart." Hunter said.
Harry nodded in agreement and zoned out as the third task creeped up in his mind. Hunter noticed this.
"What's up?" Hunter asked.
"The goblet of fire. When I killed myself it chose to find anyone who has a magical signature close to mine. It chose Jack and Raven to take my place in the final task." Harry said.
"That's fucked up. I feel sorry for Raven." Hunter said.
"I'm going to train her but I can't shake the fear of losing her." Harry said.
"I don't blame you." Hunter said.
"This might work in Voldemort's favour." Harry said.
"What do you mean?" Hunter asked.
"When I was in otherworld I saw Nick and Perenelle there. When we were waiting for the perfect moment to transport my body to another universe, I met someone else there." Harry said.
Flashback 4 months ago (1 day before being teleported to universe 6)
"So what did you call me here for Nick?" Harry asked.
"Someone wants to talk to you." Nick said.
"Who wants to talk to me?" Harry asked.
"I do." Someone said behind them.
Harry looked to where the voice came from. He saw a tall hooded figure holding a scythe.
"Death?" Harry asked.
"Hello Son Harry." Death said.
"Wow. I'm talking to the grim reaper himself." Harry said.
"I want to talk to you about something important." Death said.
"What about?" Harry asked.
"Tom Riddle. He has been evading me for a long time thanks to his horcruxes." Death said.
"I'm aware of his horcruxes because I was one." Harry said.
"I know. I have the piece right here." Death said holding a dark mist in his skinless hand.
"I see." Harry said.
"Look. I will admit I'm not the evil being that people think I am. I exist to bring balance to life and death. I bring the souls here for King Yemma and you know the rest. Everyone has a day when they die and thanks to Voldemort has cause many souls to come here early than they should've done. Since he can't die due to his horcruxes I need your help." Death said.
"You want me to destroy his horcruxes and kill him?" Harry asked.
"Correct. I can't help you of course but I want to tell you something. Voldemort is planning to get his body back through a ritual. He plans on doing this on the day of the third task of the Triwizard tournament." Death said.
"Why on that day?" Harry asked.
"Every century the line between the living and dead becomes thin and on the day of the third task the line will be at its thinnest." Death said.
"I see." Harry said.
"He wants to use your blood as part of his ritual but since you died, the contract between you and the goblet is gone and you don't need to compete anymore." Death said.
"Even though he can't get his body back, you still want me to kill him." Harry said.
"Yes. When you destroy his horcruxes he will be mortal once again." Death said.
"I will then find him and kill him." Harry said.
"Correct." Death said.
"I'll do it." Harry said.
"Thank you. I know you won't ask for anything in return but I want to grant you something." Death said.
"What's that?" Harry asked.
"I know that you are now immortal because of the philosopher's stone and immortality can be a blessing and a curse at the same time." Death said.
"I can speak from experience." Nick said.
"It is because you outlived everyone you knew?" Harry asked.
"Yes Harry. There were times when me and Perenelle wanted to die but we wanted to leave well and with no regrets and we did thanks to you. Believe me when I say; you can get your wish for immortality but for most people it isn't worth it." Nick said.
"What does this have to do with me?" Harry asked.
"You have true immortality Harry. You cannot die nor be killed. I know the love you have for your family and the girls you love and I can see that you will want to join them one day whenever you feel like it is time. Death cannot interfere with anything inside the living world. The only thing he can do inside the world of the living is gather the souls of the people who die. Which is why he needs your help with Voldemort. Whenever you're ready to leave you can request death to summon you here and he can take away your immortality and if you wanted to you can ask him to… well you know what I'm going to say." Nick said.
Harry stood there in silence picturing his future being immortal.
"Harry you will have kids one day. Nearly everyone does and parents shouldn't outlive their kids. The pain of losing your kids will never go away. You of all people should that I know this pain too well Harry. The stone can only give one person immortality. I'm not trying to control you Harry. Only giving you advice. Don't keep it forever. Long enough to set your affairs in order like I did." Nick said.
"Ok. When I want my immortality gone I will let you know." Harry said.
"Good luck Son Harry." Death said and disappeared.
"Come on. There is someone else I want you to meet." Nick said.
Flashback ending
"Wow." Hunter said.
"I'm worried that Voldemort will somehow capture her for the ritual." Harry said.
"I know of your hatred but he might capture Jack as well." Hunter said.
"I know. As for how he will capture one of them I don't know." Harry said.
"What is the third task?" Hunter asked.
"It involves a maze and with how the tournament has been so far, they'll put monsters inside the maze.
"What if Voldemort has someone on standby for the task?" Hunter asked.
"That's what I'm thinking. Who is the main question." Harry said.
"Look Harry. After you train Raven, no one will mess with her." Hunter said.
"Power can attract attention. What if I train her and Voldemort uses her for the ritual which might also make him stronger?" Harry asked.
"You really are in a spot of bother." Hunter said.
"If I was still in this tournament then this would be no issue but if it involves blood then good trying to get it out of me." Harry said.
"Doesn't Raven and Jack have dragon's blood as well?" Hunter asked.
"Yes. There is the possibility that if he uses their blood then he'll have the ability to transform into a grand elder dragon himself." Harry said.
"From what I know Voldemort makes himself out to be a pureblood so what if he won't use either of them for the ritual? It is common knowledge about your form." Hunter said.
"People think that it is only me that has the form. Beside people think it is an animagus form which it isn't." Harry said.
"He'll be in for a surprise if he did use Jack or Raven for the ritual." Hunter said.
"I can't let that happen. Voldemort isn't stupid. He'll figure out how he got it." Harry said.
"Look. You'll cross that bridge when you come to it." Hunter said.
"I know. What is happening right now in the muggle world?" Harry asked.
"I've talked about Hogwarts and the prime minister wants to see it for himself." Hunter said.
"What did you say?" Harry asked.
"I told him to stay away from the castle for now. At least until everything is ready." Hunter said.
"Good." Harry said.
"It's really happening. Our dream will became a reality." Hunter said.
"Give it some time and we can finally start changing everything." Harry said and Hunter smiled.
"By the way, did you get the knowledge I sent you through our psychic link?" Harry asked.
"I did. You've got nothing to worry about." Hunter said.
"Good. I don't want this go sideways." Harry said.
"I agree. I got to go. I'm expected tomorrow for another meeting with the prime minister." Hunter said.
"Ok. Can I see the artefacts before you go? Raven told me about the day you reclaimed them." Harry said.
"Of course." Hunter said and held the sword in his hands.
"Wow." Harry said.
"The founders made good stuff didn't they?" Hunter asked.
"They sure did." Harry said.
"Someone's coming. I got to go. I'll find them for you." Hunter said.
The next day
"Ok Raven that's enough for today." Harry said.
"Finally." Raven said as she to take her weighted wrist bands and ankle weights off.
"No. They're staying on." Harry said.
"Come on Harry. I'm struggling to walk with these on." Raven said.
"That's the point. Your strength will build up the more you wear them. I went through the same thing and look at me." Harry said.
"Can at least have them off when I go to bed?" Raven asked.
"No. I've already charm your bed so it doesn't break when you're lying on it." Harry said and Raven groaned.
"You're trying to kill me." Raven said.
"Look I know that it hard at first but when your body adjusts to the weight, you'll take them off and you'll notice the result." Harry said.
Raven sat there and said nothing.
"Like I said yesterday, you're strong Raven and you will complete this training. If I can, so can you." Harry said.
"Harry. You know that blood ritual which saved your life?" Raven asked.
"Yeah." Harry said.
"I want to go through that blood ritual." Raven said.
"You what?" Harry exclaimed.
"Goku is basically our father at this point." Raven said.
"How long have you thought about this?" Harry asked.
"A while. I want to become a part of the family in terms of blood." Raven said.
"Have you talked to Mum about this?" Harry asked.
"I planned to tell her today." Raven said.
"Is this something you really want because once the ritual is started there is no going back." Harry said.
"I'm positive." Raven said.
"Talk to Mum about it." Harry said.
"Thanks Harry." Raven said.
"No problem." Harry said.
"Can I please take these off?" Raven asked.
"No." Harry said.
5 hours later
Harry was on the grounds lying on the grass and he could sense a couple of people behind him.
"Hey Harry." Cedric said.
"Hey Cedric. Viktor." Harry said sitting up.
"The headmaster announced that Raven and Potter are in the tournament." Cedric said.
"Yeah." Harry said.
"We'll keep on her for you." Viktor said.
"I was planning on talking to you anyway." Harry said.
"What about?" Cedric asked.
"The final task. I need you to throw the match." Harry said.
"What?" Cedric/Viktor exclaimed.
"I know what you're thinking but let me explain. Have you heard of a horcrux?" Harry asked.
"No." Cedric said.
"I heard. I have a friend back in Durmstrang who is a gypsy and they dive deep in the dark arts. She told me about them." Viktor said.
"What is a horcrux?" Cedric asked.
Harry and Viktor then explained what a horcrux was.
"Fuck." Cedric said.
"Yeah. Voldemort made some." Harry said.
"So he's still alive?" Cedric asked.
"Yes. He plans on getting his body back on the day of the task." Harry said.
"That makes sense. My friend told me that this year the line between the living and dead is getting thin." Viktor said.
"The day of the task the line will be at its thinnest." Harry said.
"How do you know this?" Cedric asked.
"I met Death himself. He told me Voldemort's plan." Harry said.
"Wow." Viktor said.
"Do you think that Voldemort has people on the inside?" Cedric asked.
"Yeah." Harry said.
"You want to prevent Voldemort from getting a body on his own?" Viktor asked.
"Yes. I need to be on the lookout for anyone who tries to kidnap Raven." Harry said.
"What about Potter?" Viktor asked.
"Save him if you want." Harry said.
"Harry. I've been meaning to ask you something about your dragon form. My grandfather was an animagus and he told me that when you obtain your animal form you have control near enough instantly. I'm guessing it has taken a long time for you to control your form which never set right with me. Is your form really an animagus?" Cedric asked.
"No." Harry said.
"I see. Your secret is safe with us." Cedric said.
"The world needs more people like you. Kind-hearted." Harry said.
Cedric smiled at the comment.
"It really does." Cedric said.
"Cedric. Me and that guy who came for the founders artefacts are going to unite this world and the muggle world. Do you want to be a part of the cause?" Harry asked.
"You and your friend are crazy. I'm in." Cedric said.
"What about you Viktor? How do you feel about joining the wizarding world and muggle world together?" Harry asked.
"I have been to the muggle world a few times and I got to admit, it is full of wonders. Count me in." Viktor said.
"Cool. Cedric we will have to get laws past and to do that we need votes. The Diggory's are an ancient house so you have 4. Can you get your father to contribute those votes to us?" Harry asked.
"No promises but I'll see what I can do." Cedric said.
"How can I help?" Viktor asked.
"Does your family have political power back in Bulgaria?" Harry asked.
"We do." Viktor said.
