"Looking good everyone," Acid says as he, Film, Bold, and Moon walk into the little church. The rows of pews are decorated with red, blue, gray, and orange streamers. On the ceiling hang two big, beautiful chandeliers. Stained glass windows line the walls leading up to the altar. On the ground in between the rows of pews leading straight to the altar is a velvet rug.
Behind the altar a ladder leans against the wall with a gray pegasus standing at the top of it while she hangs the streamers on the wall. "Wha.. Aahh!" She yells out as she slips and falls off the ladder. Film zips down the pews and grabs the mare before she hits the ground.
"You all right?" Film asks as he gently places her down on the ground.
"Y-ya, I'm fine," The mare says as one of her eyes looks up at Film hovering in front of her. The other looks at the ground. "Thanks again for saving me,"
"At least this time it wouldn't have killed ya," Film replies with a smile. The mare chuckles before walking back to the ladder and walking up it. Film lands on the ground as the rest of the group looks around the room.
"Was renting an entire church necessary?" Moon asks, looking down at Acid.
"It's tradition," Acid replies, smiling up at Moon. "Besides, I basically grew up in this church," Acid waves his hoof dismally in the air. "We came and helped when every we could,"
"I see," Moon replies. Bold sighs angrily as he grumbled something under his breath. He walks over to the stallion placing lavender flowers by the altar.
"We said light purple like Lilac, not Lavender," Bold says to the stallion as he attempts to stay calm.
"Oh, sorry," The stallion says before grabbing the flowers and walking down the aisle. The stallion passes Moon and Acid as they walk up to Bold.
"Stuiped stallion," Bold hisses in anger.
"Didn't take you as a flower guy," Moon says in slight shock.
"I'm not," Bold responds as he turns to face her. "Film specifically said Lilac like purple, obviously they didn't take it seriously," Bold hisses again while watching the stallion walk out of the building.
"I know that feeling," Acid responds a bit dejectedly. The two turn to him as his eyes wander to the ground. "No one taking you seriously because I look like a colt, or because of my lack of talent for magic," Acid says as Moon gently wraps an arm around his back. "I think Celestia and you are the only two who never underestimated me," Acid says, looking up at Moon.
"Glad I didn't," Moon says with a small smile. She nuzzles the top of his head with her muzzle. Acid smiles before nuzzling into her chest.
"I can't even defend myself on that," Bold response. "I judged Film the moment we met until he put me in my place. That's when I realized he was more than he looked," Bold explains. "Now I get irritated when a pony judges him like I did,"
"And I thought you didn't have a soft spot when I first met you," Film says as he lands next to Bold. "You proved me wrong on that," Bold chuckles before wrapping an arm around Film and nuzzling into his head. Film sighs and nuzzles back into Bold's neck.
"Ok, now that we have that over with, can we get to checking on the wedding preparations?" Acid asks.
"You started it," Bold responds back with a cocky smile. Film rolls his eyes as Moon chuckles.
"Does everyone know what they have to do?" Acid asks.
"I make sure the guests are getting fitted properly," Moon says.
"I got decorations," Film responds.
"I've got food," Bold pips in before liking his lips.
"I've got the after wedding party," Acid confirms. "And Bold," Acid says, getting Bold's attention. "Don't eat any of the food please,"
"I'll try my best not to," Bold responds sarcastically. Film elbowed Bold in the ribs, causing him to flinch a bit before rubbing his chest and looking down at Film with a hint of anger. "Ok, ok, I won't eat any of the food,"
(Time Skip)
"Everyone we invited has gotten fitted," Moon says as she walks up to Bold and Film standing outside the church. "Albeit with some negotiations," Moon grumbles to herself.
"The decorations are really beautiful, you should go inside to see it for yourself," Film responds.
"And the food is delicious," Bold responds with a shit eating grin. Film, again, jabs Bold in the side with his elbow while Moon rolls her eyes. "What?" Bold asks, looking down at Film while he rubs his rib. "They asked me to taste test,"
"Where's Acid?" Moon asks, looking around for the little unicorn.
"I.. don't… know," Film slowly says as he also looks around.
"That's not like him," Moon replies.
"Maybe someone thought he was a colt and filly snapped him," Bold responds with a small smile. Film looks up at Bold with the face of someone who is not pleased whatsoever. "Sorry," Bold says, scratching the side of his arm in embarrassment.
"He's probably still at the after wedding party preparations," Film says, turning back to Moon, who had already flown away. Leaving the two standing there awkwardly in silence.
"That was rude," Bold says before instantly regretting it as he gets another jab to the rib. "Can you stop doing that!" Bold yells down at Film. "You're going to bruise my ribs!"
"Then stop saying stuiped stuff," Film responds with a smirk. Bold rolls his eyes as the two walk back into the church.
(Time Skip)
"No no no, not hot pink, light pink," Acid says to a mare with table cloths in her hoofs.
"Right, sorry," The mare responds before quickly walking away.
"Mr. Flask, is this purple ok," A stallion asks, walking up to Acid with a bundle of flowers in his hoofs.
"Yes," Acid says, turning to the stallion. "Just make sure to put a yellow flower in every once in a while," Acid explains. The stallion nods before walking off. Acid lets out a big yawn while covering his mouth with his hoof.
"You ok Acid?" Moon asks, walking into the building. Acid turns to face Moon with the best smile he can muster.
"I'm fine, definitely not stressed," Acid says as another mare walks up to him.
"Is orange frosting ok?" The mare asks.
"Yes," Acid replies as Moon walks over to him. The mare walks away as Acid turns to face Moon.
"You don't look ok to me, Acid," Moon says, looking down at Acid with worry on her face. Acid sighs as he sits down on the ground. His ears flopping against the side of his head as he looks down at the ground with slight sadness. Moon looks worryingly down at him as she sits down next to him. "Acid," Moon wispear as she wraps an arm around his back.
Tears start running down Acid's cheeks before he buries his face into Moon's chest. He wraps his arms around her body as he lets out his tears. Moon looks down in worry as she hugs him tight to her.
"I'm right here," Moon coos into his ear as she rubs Acid's back. Acid's tears start to stain her coat as he lets it all out. The ponies around them look worryingly at them before continuing on their business. Acid's tears slowly subside as he stays, staring at Moon's furry chest for a bit. "What's on your mind?"
"I don't deserve your love," Acid bluntly states. Moon takes a second to process the very blunt information.
"Why?" Moon asks, looking down at Acid.
"I don't know, it's just ben in my head all day,"
"Try to explain the feeling. Trust me, it helps," Moon replies. Acid takes a deep, shaky breath before talking.
"All my life the only ponies to ever love me unconditionally was my family. I was told by other ponies no one would ever love a broken unicorn like me. They called me a dirt fondeler and muddy," Acid says as tears fill his eyes again. Moon's heart cracks in half as she hugs him tighter to her. It was almost like she was trying to absorb him into her, in a vain attempt to show how much she cares for him. "They said I would die alone, that the only ones who would ever love me is my broken family," The tears of sadness turned into hate as memories of his past flood into his mind. He grips Moon much tighter as the anger boils inside of him. "It was Velvet who first started the rumor," Anger filled his voice. He puts a venom-like emphasis on Velvet's name.
Moon winces a bit at Velvet's name as Acid continues. "That friken unicorn, that stuck up, stuck up her rump," Acid's anger started to boil over as he grits his teeth together until it finally his anger peaks. "Piece of shit!" Acid yells out in anger, causing the ponies in the room to stop and look at the two. Moon looks down in hurt and surprise. Acid's anger now simering as he catches his breath.
"Did that feel better?" Moon asks, tilting her head to the side.
"Ya," Acid nods.
"Good," Moon replies. "Because you deserve all the love I have. You've been my light in the night, the little star that shone brighter than all of them," Moon says, squeezing him. "I love you Acid," Moon says before gently lifting Acid's chin up with her hoof. Acid smiles up at her while trying to avert his eyes.
"I love you too," Acid grumpily says in embarrassment. Moon chuckles before lightly placing a kiss on his lips. Acid's eyes snap forward in surprise. He sighs as he closes his eyes and kisses her back. The two separate from the quick kiss, their hearts beating fast, but in sink.
"We should go before the others think you're lost," Moon says, standing up.
"Good point," Acid replies. Moon helping him up before the two walk out of the building.
