Oh, my, god! Thank you for the follows and favorites! Thank you so much! The new chapters will be coming in an inconsistent stream of updates. I hope you will keep on reading this, more and more.
"Why are you here?" I asked the fastest member of our Familia as I opened the door. What the hell does one of the simp faction members want now? I had already finished today's training, and I was supposed to escort Freya, a.k.a. babysit her as she works in the restaurant.
"Lady Freya appointed you as the family therapist."

"... Why are you here?"
"Freya wanted me to talk with you."
"Good, we talked. Now go. I still have to babysit her." I said as I closed the door before smacking my head on the wall.
Fuck!
Why is my life like this?!
I just want a stress-free life!
But now I'm in charge of taking care of the mental health of a bunch of simps! I'm not even 100% mentally healthy!
Let's just get this over with.
Opening the door, I saw Allen, who was probably dumbfounded.
"I have ten minutes. Get inside and talk. I have a short-
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT?!"
"DUMBASS! I HAVE A SHORT TIME LIMIT!"
"Tch, let's get this over with." And with that, the executive entered my room and was probably looking at the massive mass of amorphous tentacles surrounding a massive eye that was holding a plate of cake.
"Mortal, this day has been a pleasure." The amorphous mass said as it somehow ate the cake. How did it do that? I dunno. Don't ask me.
"Indeed, same time next week?" I asked while fishing out a book from the bookshelf in my room.
"Very well."
"Have a safe trip, Hermy." I said as I handed him a book. A book that a floating tentacle too as it disappeared.
"Who was that?" The black cat of the Family asked.
"Hermaeus Mora, Daedric prince of knowledge," I said before noticing a black book left on top of my bed with a note.
"WHAT is he?"
"He is also Freya's surrogate son," I said as he looked at me. Oh... oh! His mind probably cracked. "Shortstack."
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO LITTLE I CAN FIT THROUGH A NEEDLE HOLE?!" He is back. I am starting to think all member of the Freya Familia is insane. Good thing I'm not.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked as he looked at me before sighing.
It took an hour, and my job was taken by one of the Gulliver brothers, and I sat here listening to Allen while listing down some notes and eating some popcorn. So sad. No sarcasm intended. He had a shitty childhood.
"I see, you might say otherwise, but you miss your sister dearly," I said as I closed my notebook and he perked up. Knowing that he is about to retort, I raised my hand to stop him. "I know you have some issues and you might feel betrayed, but it will be for the best if you try to mend your relationship with her,"
"Tch! How would you know about how I feel?"
"Because I no longer have the chance to see my annoying brat of a little sister ever again," I said as set the bowl of popcorn on the table. I could still remember my annoying little sister that always relied on me.
"..."
"I'm not a good person, and I am probably not one to talk about these things, but you should cherish all the time you have with your Family. Blood is thicker than water, Allen. In the end, you only have one sibling, and from what you told me, she probably misses you terribly,"
"... I"
"You don't have to do it right away. Things like these take time, and whatever your choice, it is yours and only yours. I won't try and tell you what to do." I told him as he seemed to be thinking over things. Even if he did try, it would take a while for their bond to be repaired. "As an apology for overstepping my boundaries, here's a tip for you. You're fast, but you lack endurance. You tire out more, so I suggest for you to have a lance of yours enchanted to replenish your stamina and heal your wounds with each strike... also, probably have it enhanced to deal more critical hits."
"I'll think it over." He said, and with those words, the Chariot of Freya exited my room.
I should not be the one with this job...
It took me an hour, but now, I am finally here. The Hostess of Fertility, a place where cute girls are located. Yeah, ladies! I am- I feel quite hungry. Taking a seat hidden and highly unnoticeable, from now on, you are my spot.
"Nya!" A high-pitched voice assaulted my ears, and a pair of brown eyes met mine. Oh my god, a kitty! "What would you like to order?"
"A mug of coffee, please! Two teaspoons of grounds of coffee, one teaspoon of sugar, and one teaspoon of cream," Yes, fuel my caffeine addiction! I need more coffee!
"Hey, Ren!" Oh, it's Freya! Freya disguised as Syr.
"Hey, I'm having some coffee."
"I see. Did you do what I ask?"
"Why give me that job? Is this because of me criticizing you?"
"Yes,"
"Fair point," I said as I looked at her.
"Ryuu!"
Hold up! What are you doing?!
"What is it, Syr?" The elf said as she saw my boss. No! You asshole! You better not make my life worse!
"Can you give an order for a cup of coffee for him? I fear Anya might mix it up." She said and peeking over with the two. I could see how the waitress struggled to explain.
"Very well,"
"A mug of coffee, please! Two teaspoons of grounds of coffee, one teaspoon of sugar, and one teaspoon of cream," Yes, fuel my caffeine addiction! I need more coffee! None shall stop me!
I watched the elf go and fetch the sustenance for my soul. Yes, woman... fetch me my sustenance.
"I have to wonder, why do you always look so stoic?" Syr asked as she looked at me.
"Shouldn't you be working?" I reminded her. "This is how I always look."
"Oh, no! I forgot!" And with that, she was gone. Finally, peace and quiet.
"Here you are," Ryuu said as she set the mug of coffee on the table. The dark-colored beverage, this smell. COFFEE!
I never moved my hand as fast as I could before. Within a millisecond before the mug touched down on the table, my hand was already wrapped around it... wait. Why is it warm?
I am holding her hand. Oh, no! But I don't care. I have my coffee.
"Sorry," I said as I let go of her hand and waited for her to set it down before snatching it up once more.
Yes, delicious nectar of the gods. Beloved caffeinated delight. Not even your smug look can bring out of my high while drinking coffee, lady Freya.
Why did it feel like my life just got harder?
Whatever, at least I have my coffee
