The Hostess of Fertility
A hotspot of numerous adventurers. A place for rest and relaxation. A place where many could admire a lot of beautiful women.
A lot of adventurers often go to this humble inn to relax and unwind, immediately lighting up.
Except for a certain young man holding his face with his hand alongside a dignified woman with green hair. The young man was filled with an aura of despair as he fiddled with a cup of coffee, dressed in a simple yet elegant black suit over a green shirt, matching the eyes and hair of his companion.
This is our boy, Ren Cruz.
Why is he depressed and why is he with Riveria?
Why? Why did Freya do that yesterday?!
In my library too! She even brought that bitch, Hedin.
Why is my luck so bad?!
Why?! Why am I forced on a date?!
I don't know anything about dates! I'm busy with my life as it is. And that flatchested Loki told me to take her Riveria on a date or else...
WHY?!
"Here's your order." Ah, my disguised boss, my suffering must give you some sustenance. I can see your smirk, Freya!
"Fuck off," I could only down a portion of the mug of alcohol while ignoring the glare Ryuu gave me and Syr/Freya's smug smile.
"You don't have to be angry at the poor waitress." Riveria, bless your kind heart but that waitress is evil! Evil! She had an orgy when Nahida was staying in!
Why do you think I had a house built near a lake somewhere close to Orario?
" Trust me, my anger is justified," I said, noticing how Syr waved at us before mouthing off something.
'Make me proud.'
WHY?!
I swear I'll make you the last person in your Odr's harem! You hear me, Freya!
"I'm sorry for having you involved in Loki/Freya's plans." We both said at the same time. Huh?
"You too?" I asked the elven princess/my future fiancee. I need to find a way to cancel the engagement. Besides, we both are adventurers and she was out of my league?
I might be a count but I'm a human.
Luckily for us, we used disguises. To others, we may appear as different people except for our patrons, namely Freya and Loki. Sure, we can't change our race, but we can change our features.
"So, anything new about your magic research?" I asked as I finished my cup. She had been visiting a lot to expand her magical knowledge. Even what happened yesterday wasn't enough to faze her.
"Yes, I managed to break through some boundaries we elves have with our magic." the princess of the elves explained and whenever she becomes like this, I can't help but find it cute.
Lies! Remember Nahida! Maidens are temporary, adorable daughters are forever!
"Ren..." Speak of the angel and she shall appear.
"What is it, Nahida?" Ah, my beloved angel of an adoptive daughter. Your mere presence and cuteness sustain me in this dark world.
"Can I stay with mommy Riveria tonight?" Huh?
What was that?!
Wait, Riveria, breathe! Breathe! You're cute and all but you'll die if you don't!
"L-little one, who told you to call me that?" Riveria asked. How cute, your voice is shaking.
"Oh, that pretty red-haired mister named Loki."
That explains a lot.
"Why did you talk with Loki?" I asked my adorable little Nahida.
"She was with big sis Ais!"
My heart! So cute!
no... that perverted red-haired little hit approached Nahida.
Calm down, Ren...
Imagine...
Fuck it!
"So... we can just put up some illusions, and go our separate ways." I offered to my date, but sadly, I could feel the ominous aura of a certain bitch. "Or not."
"We only have to go with the flow..." Riveria replied and for a split second, I saw a flash of gold. You know, your disguises won't work, Loki Familia captain, Finn Deimme.
But why?! Why is it always me?! Should I just be a dungeon rat? Living near the dungeon and kicking Freya's ass?
Nah, knowing Freya, she would probably find a way to do something. Hell, I was not surprised she found a way to bypass the barrier in the library.
"So, any breakthroughs?"
"Sadly, after Loki found out... she encouraged it. I was hoping her possessiveness would have allowed us to break the engagement off." Oh, don't wilt Princess.
I could only look at the cup of coffee in my hands.
"At least Loki is way tamer than Freya." Ever since Freya named me Vanadis Freyr, she started to meddle in my love life... even after I chucked her at the Gulliver brothers.
Fuck! Bell! Where are you? I need you so I can tease Freya with her Odr.
I already have that fishing rod ready! I can fucking use Bell and a stick against her. I already prepared the sand so I can draw a broken heart once you see Bell and Ais on a date!
Ryuu might kill me one day if she finds out I am gonna bully you and that you are Syr but that is a risk I am willing to take!
"You have my condolences," Riveria said, taking her order with a smile from the best daughter, Nahida. I am losing my mind!
Wait, is that Ais?
Looking to the side, I noticed the sword princess in a disguise with Lefiya and... Holy shit! Those are big boobs! An elf with big boobs glaring at me.
Why?
How can she even walk with those things?! Her poor back!
"Wanna head to the dungeon?" I asked my date. Fuck it, I'm an adventurer, and killing things is way better than... Syr... what are you doing?! Why do you have Elmo?!
Fun fact, I made an Elmo stuffed toy for Nahida last week and that bitch of a boss of mine showed Elmo with a knife in her hand.
You evil bitch! Elmo is Nahida's favorite! I passed on what my favorites are to her! Don't you fucking... Fine.
Even if it pains my heart.
I have to do it.
"I mean... we can go on..." This pains my heart! I've never been on a date. And the pressure... Why is the Hostess filled with either Elves or our Familia members? Nobu! I can see you cackling you evil woman!
"Where?"
"... I found something you might like."
WTF?! FREYA! DID YOU USE ME AS A PART OF YOUR BET WITH LOKI?! I CAN SEE YOU TWO EXCHANGING MONEY BAGS!
HEDIN YOU EVIL BITCH! I KNOW I AM THE ONE OTHER THAN OTTAR WHO UNDERSTANDS FREYA BUT WHY ARE YOU FACILITATING THE BETS?!
"Oh?"
"Here," Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out a mage stone similar to a lotus flower. One embedded in a bracelet. "One of my designs, made sure to allow any mage to use a focus other than their staves."
"Do you know what you just did?" Riveria... why are you looking at me like that?
"Yeah, I made a thing to lessen the cost of spells," I replied. Hey, I made more shit. Like the necklace that hides what Nahida is, or the ring that makes it so that I only use 1% of the cost of my arcane marksman spells.
"You just developed an item that would make mages more valuable in the dungeon." I know, Why do you think I make them?
"That's why I made it," I replied while taking a sip of the delicious cup of coffee. "I also put on some enchantments to make the user recover their mind twice as fast and for their stamina and health to recover 25% faster."
"Y... you could buy a manor with this?!" Riveria, how cute.
"How do you think I bought a manor outside of Orario and fund all my shenanigans to delay our engagement?" I revealed, causing Freya to gasp!
"Ooh! Is the manor already done?" Nahida asked as she set our food on the table.
"Yes, little one. Don't worry. The cabin is still there." I told my adorable little sharp-eared companion/daughter.
"Really?! Yay!" Cheering herself, the little girl went back to work once more.
"But why give it to me?"
"Why not? We're already engaged," I replied as I looked at her. "Not only that, you have potential. After only 20 years, a short time for your kind, you have reached a high level of mastery concerning the magical arts. I am excited... no, ecstatic to see how more you would grow as a magic user. Will you be able to bend time to your will? Heal all wounds?" I said, letting my inquisitive nature take its place.
"Will you bend the fabric of space and time? Rend dimensions to your will?" I need to know. I HAVE to know, for my greatest ambition.
Standing up, I could no longer think straight. I looked at her and smiled.
"I want... No! I need to know!" Looking at her, I could not help but be amazed at how adorable she looked. "So, I swear to you. I, Ren Cruz, will help you reach the limits of your potential." Taking the mug of coffee.
"I'll bend even reality to my needs, wants, and whims. All I need is one thing." Slamming my mug of coffee on the counter, I leaned toward her. "You."
"I need your beautiful mind," I started as I ignored everything around us, for now, I could only see her. "I need your impeccable strength, your infallible demeanor, your untameable mastery of the mystic arts. I need it all."
"So, I ask. Will you lend your body to me?"
As the young man of the Freya Familia said his piece, the receiver of his words turned red,
