"Did Freya invite you?" I asked the princess of all elves as I looked at her in the eyes. Knowing Freya or that bitch, Hedin...

"She gave Loki the idea," Riveria replied.

I need to finish that anti-horny serum and plan to make Freya the last member of Bell's harem.

"I see... Nahida is finishing the sand castle I built."

"Oi!" Loki shouted as she jumped and dived into the air towards- Raising my hand, I stopped her in mid-air while looking at her.

"I know a good place that sells high-quality chains and collars. I can enchant them to make anyone they hold be... less annoying." I said while looking at Loki. "I'll offer a discount... no. I'll make it free alongside finding a way to cancel this engagement."

"While that would be for the best. Loki is still our patron." Riveria said. Hearing this, I could not help but wonder if I could just have her... Nah, not worth it. "Hello, Lefiya and Ais." I greeted the girls my fiancee has under her wing, the magician with hacks, Lefiya Viridis, and the dragon-obsessed child, Ais Wallenstein.

"M-master Ren, a pleasure to meet you." Lefiya squeaked out as she gave me a bow. Huh?!

"Uncle Ren." Ais greeted. Fuck, my heart! I could remember the times when my nieces from my cousin called me that.

"Dojyaaaaaan~"

Holy shit! It's me! Wait... did someone slip some drugs on my food or coffee again? Why? Well, there is a cowboy version of me in a pink shirt. He has some steel balls around his waist. Wait... he has a girl with him. A young woman with ashen-white hair and green eyes.

"Damn it, Ren! This is the wrong place, this isn't Kaer Morhen!" The woman said as she looked at cowboy me. "And stop that annoying phrase! You've been saying that every time we travel to new dimensions!"

"Stop whining, Ciri, besides, I like it. [Wonderful world: Dirty deeds done dirt cheap]." Suddenly, the other me took his cape and dropped it over himself, his horse, and the girl. Normally, doing such a thing would have the cloak only cover them, but the cloak kept dropping to the ground as if they weren't there.

Wait... Dirty deeds done dirt cheap. Isn't that a band?

And that ability...

HOLY SHIT!

Other me has a stand!

"Cruz. What was that?" Fuck! He has a stand! How?! Wait... he called his stand wonderful world: Dirty deeds done dirt cheap.

"We need to buy the groceries," Ryuu said as she grabbed me by my jacket and dragged me away from my fiancee. Thank you, Ryuu! If you ever fall in love with Bell, I will help you and your sexy ass- Ouch!

"Don't think of something perverted about me," Ryuu said as she looked at me. Oh no! She can read my mind! No! Nahida! Help! Daddy needs help! "No, I can't read your mind, I just know you well enough."

And you are stronger than I am.

"Oh yeah, Ryuu," I said as I got off my jacket.

"Yes?" She asked and we entered the nearby market.

"Do you know a girl?"

"Aren't you engaged?" Ryuu, I like you. But you know we are finding ways to end it.

"Do you know a girl with white hair and eyes of different colors?" I asked as I took a basket and put some things on them. "huh? Ryuu?" I asked my Elven friend. Why do you look like you have PTSD?

"R-Ren. What did you say?" The elf asked calmly as she looked at me.

"I mean, do you know a girl with white hair and eyes of different colors," I said to her.

"D-does she wear a black dress and are her eyes green and gray?" Woah! Ryuu! Calm down! Shit! She's panicking! Moving quickly, I raised my hands and squished her cheeks gently. Heh, so cute! Like an adorable marshmallow with PTSD! Don't worry, I have my special elven touchy gloves. Nahida named it, so sue me!

"Ryuu, calm down!" I said to her while catching the tray with my foot. "Deep breaths. One, two, three. Inhale, exhale." She followed my directions and she looked a bit better.

"Thank you," She said and I immediately took my hands off her soft face.

"Here," Well, my flask filled with mango juice, you will be a sacrifice for my friend's mental health. She took it and took some sips while trying to calm herself. This is bad, I suck at comforting people or making them relax. Ask Nahida, Nobu, and Freya!

"Did you see her?" Ryuu asked weakly as she looked... terrified. Okay... Ryuu is pretty strong, she is a level 4 after all. As a new level 4, she probably can overpower me, right now and to see her get shaken up. I am so fucking glad that Devouring Apocalypse stopped me from doing something stupid.

"I did. Just a few minutes before you found me," I said as I stayed by her side. She was shaking like a leaf. Having no experience in calming someone with PTSD, I just held her shoulder, through the jacket, and squeezed. "It's fine. She won't get you. I'll stop her." Not really, but you are my friend, Ryuu.

Sure, you almost killed me a few times and I know it's my fault, but you are a dear friend of mine. Besides, Nahida called you Aunty!

"Ren, whatever you do, don't piss her off." Ryuu looked so serious... more serious than usual. Suddenly, the young elf's legs gave out and I barely managed to catch her in a way that I won't touch her bare skin.

"Take a rest, I'll shop for everything we need," I told her as I led her to a nearby bench. But still, Ryuu must have some history with that hottie. Don't worry, Ryuu. I, Ren Cruz, have a special ability called the dorkiness of virginity! It allows women to be disgusted at me and makes them get away from me...

I am such a fucking dork. I just want to go home, fight and mess around with my sister, listen to my mom nag on and on about things, spend time and bond with my old man, go to school, etc. But now, I'm dragged into this geopolitical shit...

leaving to get the groceries, I looked at my left hand and watched as a symbol similar to thorns appeared on my left wrist. It might have made my life more of a mess and made me engaged to a certain princess, but it brought Nahida into my life.

Nahida is safe from those assholes and that is all that matters.

Fou, as a fourth beast, is the best defense for Nahida. Fou will always follow whatever Nahida wants to. After all...

She was cut off mid-sentence as the image changed to that of a burning forest as a high elf with green hair pierced her chest with her hand, pulling an orb off her chest.

Rukkhadevata... am I really the right guardian for Nahida?

Is it truly okay for me to be her 'father'? The high elven kings and queens of Alf's royal forest would have been a better choice than I am... a person who can only shatter those around him, even a dear friend's mood.

After all,

The memory distorted to show Rukkhadevata impaled in the heart with a knife, the Elf gone, replaced by my own as I held her in my hands.

Fun fact: The reason why added a certain someone was because of a fic I read. I really loved the idea of her surviving and how they handled it. It was pretty fucking cute! I specially loved it when (spoiler alert) Haruhime and Bell interacted. God, it was so fucking sweet! Fox and Bunny ftw! Also, Lefiya is a good choice. Nice! Shout out to Ventanus and his/her fic, Change of Fates! Love your fic! Please keep up the good work.
