In the corner of my eye, I saw my friend, Nahida's aunt, and the only person I trust to take care of her in the Hostess, Ryuu, facepalm.

"Mia-Okaa-sama is back in Orario, she gave us a three-day break." Lunoire is the only truly reliable person in the hostess group. No, I don't count myself nor Syr/Freya reliable.

I looked at the flames while sitting on a branch of a nearby tree near a campfire. Nahida is having fun, something I am very glad about. She even is playing with Ais and Lefiya. Noticing Ryuu, I waved toward her and she nodded.
"Why are you all alone here?" Below the tree I sat on is my fiancee, Riveria Ljos Alf, princess of all elves.
"I like being alone," I replied as I looked at her. "Why go here?"
"I wanted to get away from Loki." Ah, yes. The red-haired menace. "May I?"
"Knock yourself out," I said to her, and to my surprise, she jumped and gracefully sat on the branch opposite mine.
"What? I used to claim trees to escape father's lessons." The princess of all elves replied with a soft, yet smug smile.
"Knowing you, that would probably be one of the reasons you escaped that... hellhole. No offense, but elven courts are way more annoying than ordinary ones. "

"I found a way we can cancel our engagement," I said as I looked at her. "Be Nahida's mother."
The princess looked at me and I looked at her.
What? it's the perfect choice! Nahida and her family are important to the elves!
With Riveria becoming Nahida's mother, she would be able to travel the world with Nahida and enjoy the world, this way, even if I die, Nahida won't be alone.
