Author Note: I hope you enjoy my updates on the first chapters.

PS. I came up with an interesting idea for a Crossover: Wednesday X Rosario + Vampire.

I mean they are both series about private schools for paranormal teenagers and Monster-Girl.

It would be interesting and/or if someone combines these series, I get to see how Wednesday Addams tears apart the Yokai Academy and a very jealous Enid Sinclair.

Maybe I should use some characters from Rosario + Vampire as supporting characters for Nevermore Academy?

Story Arc: Welcome to a Nevermore

Episode 1: The effect of the Velvet Butterfly (II)

Chapter 1: Wednesday Addams, the dark girl

Sinopsys: After a day of discussion between the two mothers.

Wednesday receives news of her move to Nevermore, interpreting the act not as help, but as a petty motherly manipulation move.

Before going she slept, Wednesday sees a velvet butterfly, allowing her to dream of a certain Velvet Room.

The move to Nevermore is promising a big change in the life of this goth girl.

POV Narrator

One day since the flutter of a butterfly's wings prompted an argument between two concerned mothers, each with their own extremely gifted and equally lonely child.

Returning to an unspecified place in New Jersey.

Inside a large and frightening cemetery, filled with the graves of relatives and victims of the Addamses.

Between the tombstones and the mysterious ever-present fog there is a beautiful and dark girl, as if she was born to stay in this cemetery and keep the dead company.

Instead of mourning the passing of a loved one and leaving flowers on the grave. This girl is playing the cello, reciting one of Niccolo Paganini's compositions.

The musician girl appears to be between 15 and 16 years old.

Physically the girl is rather thin and petite, having just one and a half meters in height.

Her hair is jet black, held in two long braids and a fringe across her forehead.

His white skin is so pale that it is likened to a ghost or a vampire.

Her eyes are a deep dark brown, with black eyeshadow.

He wears a black shirt, with a white collar and white cuffs; a black skirt, accompanied by long white stockings and low-heeled leather shoes.

A person with eccentric tastes might say that this girl is a more gothic version of Snow White.

The dark girl is Wednesday Addams, one of the main protagonists of this story.

Wednesday is practicing one of his favorite pastimes, playing the cello.

This activity allows Wednesday to clear his mind and stop thinking about his problems.

The melody of Niccolò Paganini resounds in the Addams cemetery in a harmonious way.

As if this piece was written especially for Wednesday to play in this venue.

If left alone, Wednesday's music would ease the suffering of graveyard ghosts for quite some time.

Unfortunately, the song stalled at the climax. The musician girl has noticed the uncomfortable presence of her parents.

'No matter where I go to be alone, someone always comes to disturb me.' thinks Wednesday, feeling annoyed at the interruption, not having been able to finish playing her favorite tune of hers.

Wednesday's parents, Morticia and Gomez, have emerged from the ever-present fog of this graveyard.

Morticia chose to come at this moment, hoping that Wednesday would be in a less gloomy mood than usual.

Each time her daughter finishes playing the cello, she tends to be less violent and sadistic towards Pugsley and the others.

"Mother, Father, why did you come here to hinder my creative process?" Wednesday said, accusingly, holding his bow aimed at her parents.

The dark girl doesn't say it, but she's expecting bad news, not in a good way.

Wednesday learned his parents' habits to the point of predicting their actions and intent.

For example, if they want to inform her of really bad (good) news, such as a relative's funeral, they prepare a larger dinner than usual.

If they want to deliver bad news, they wait until Wednesday finishes playing the cello or finishes one of his vengeful schemes.

" My little scorpion, sorry to interrupt your beautiful music." Gomez apologizes, having preferred to wait for Wednesday to finish playing.

" Excuses don't help anything. Don't waste any more time and tell me what you want." Wednesday declares, not wanting to confront her parents any more than he has to, especially her mother.

Things between mother and daughter haven't been going too well lately.

"Wednesday, seeing that you can't settle in your current school. We have been considering a solution to your problem." Gomez said, in a happy tone, hoping to make her daughter happy, something you rarely, very rarely see.

'My parents finally figured out that American public school is a waste of time for someone of my intellect.' Think Wednesday, having a low opinion towards the current inefficient and outdated education system.

Wednesday would much rather learn at home or learn on his own and only show up for exams.

If Wednesday could benefit from such a curriculum, he would have more time to write his novel and to pursue constructive hobbies like fencing, martial arts, or the study of poisons.

" Your father and I, we weren't sure whether to put our solution into practice.

But yesterday I got in touch with an old friend of mine, Eda Clawthorne.

The discussion I had with her was enlightening." Morticia said, in a calm tone, having mysteriously forgotten about the velvet butterfly that set everything in motion.

" My little scorpion, you will go to Nevermore Academy at the beginning of this school year." Declares Gomez, enthusiastically, having only good memories at Nevermore Academy, save for a single incident he doesn't want to delve into.

Wednesday hasn't replied to his amiable parents instead remains silent and thinks about how to take revenge on Eda Clawthorne.

But before starting a hunt for a woman here knows only the name.

Wednesday decided to focus his efforts on his parents.

"Why on earth do I have to go to Nevermore Academy, I can't just stop going to school." Wednesday said, feeling no joy at the news.

For the dark girl, the change of school is nothing more than a useless waste of time.

Wherever Wednesday goes history will repeat itself again and again. Wednesday Addams is not meant to be around people.

"I promise you, my little viper, that you will love Nevermore. Don't you, Tish?" Gomez said, wanting to reassure his beloved daughter.

"Sure. It's the perfect school for her." Declares Morticia, completely convinced of this move.

"Why? Why was it the perfect school for you?

I have no interest in following in your footsteps." Wednesday declares, with dismay, having already heard too many stories about his parents' youth at Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday has no desire to attend her parents' old school.

If she had a choice, Wednesday, she would rather have her eyes gouged out than go through the same academic background as her mother.

"I just meant to say that eventually you will be among equals who understand you.

Maybe you'll even make some friends." Morticia declares, having made this decision only for the sake of her beloved daughter.

Morticia would have preferred to keep Wednesday close to home, where she can see her and try to hug her every day.

But if you send her away from home and find them a "playmate" on her level, it will bring a feeling of happiness and friendship to Wednesday.

Morticia is willing to send Wednesday to China and not see her for ten years, all to never see her so lonely and unhappy again.

"Nevermore is like no other boarding school.

It's a magical place.

That's where I met your mother.

And we fell in love." Gomez said, in a charming tone, grabbing Morticia's hand and kissing it.

Gomez's endless love was an excellent pain reliever for Morticia's embittered heart.

"You're making me nauseous. Not in a good way." Wednesday comments, feeling disgusted at the sight of her parents' displays of affection.

" We also have another piece of news to tell you." Morticia said, keeping her mind focused on Wednesday's needs.

Later, Morticia will be able to have fun with her beloved man, now she has to deal with her daughter.

" Two great news in one day, my heart could stop with happiness." Comments Wednesday, with a tone full of sarcasm.

More likely his heart will stop from boredom or the sweetness of his parents.

"My old friend, Eda, has a son his name is, Bruce Bahamut Belmont." Morticia said, slowly approaching her daughter.

The Addams Family Matriarch knows her daughter very well and is under no illusions that she will appreciate the existence of a "playmate".

"What does your friend's son have to do with my transfer to Nevermore Academy?" Wednesday asks, raising an eyebrow, finding it rather strange that her mother would bring up this information.

Not as strange as the fact that mother and daughter have completely different surnames.

" You see, during my chat, Eda asked me if it was possible to send her son to Nevermore Academy.

Apparently, gifted children with a strong interest in criminal masterminds have a hard time making friends with their peers." Morticia said, hoping Eda was having an easier time than she was.

Wednesday's poker face remained unwavering in the face of this announcement. But looking at the dark girl's hands you can see that her grip around her cello has increased quite a bit.

"I'm not going to babysit a weak little boy while I'm locked up at Nevermore Academy.

A single Pugsley in my life is enough. If you want to pay your friend back, you'll have to find other methods." Wednesday said, interpreting the situation as a request like keep an eye on Eda's sensitive son.

"Actually, Bruce is older than you; he'll be 17 next January. According to what I've heard of his account he has more in common with you." Morticia said, in a smug tone, informing Wednesday that she has wrong with his assumption.

"My little scorpion, you are a beautiful lonely girl. Bruce is an eccentric and antisocial prodigy. Once you are both at Nevermore, you can be lonely together." Gomez said, going to hit the target in full, leaving no room for misunderstandings.

' As if it weren't enough that my parents want to turn me into their miniature. They found me a carer or even worse a suitor.' Thinks Wednesday, feeling her body invaded by the pleasant shivers of murderous rage.

Even somewhere the thought of a suitor wrought an unequaled revulsion in Wednesday's black heart.

" You send me to your old school and you found me someone suicidal enough to be close to me. Do you have anything else to tell me ?" Wednesday asks, having already concocted in his twisted mind, dozens of murder methods for this Bruce.

" In a few days we will go to Boston, to pick up Eda and Bruce, they will travel with us to Nevermore Academy. You will have enough to get to know your future fellow student better." Morticia said, delivering the third and final big news for Wednesday.

"Mother, Father, thank you for personally giving me this news. Weaker and wiser people would have sent an expendable messenger, such as Pugsley is." Wednesday said, having to appreciate the fact that her parents have come to tell her this bad bad news straight to her face.

"I'm going to my room and don't you dare disturb me till late afternoon." Wednesday said, rising from the stone on which he sat for the duration of his rendition of the Niccolo Paganini piece.

To spite his parents a little, he decided to let them carry his cello inside the house.

"My little storm cloud, what are you going to do in your room for so long?" Gomez asks, a slight note of concern in his voice.

When Wednesday locks himself in his room for a long time, it means that he is preparing a plan for revenge or wants to be alone because of a bad day.

Both options do not bode well.

"I am preparing for my move.

First I have to get a going away gift for my old school, followed by an original gift for Bruce." Wednesday said, keeping his face calm and stoic.

After which the gloomy girl slowly moves away from her parents, disappearing into the fog as if she were one of the ghosts of the cemetery.

"Let's look at the empty side of the glass. No one was hurt physically, mentally or emotionally." Gomez said, trying to be positive that Wednesday seems to have taken the news very well.

"No one has been killed yet." Morticia said, she could smell her daughter's pent-up anger.

'Maybe I should tell Eda to prepare her son to face several attempts on his life.' thinks Morticia, beginning to worry for the well-being of her friend's son.

A bad-tempered Wednesday could be lethal for someone unprepared.

XXX

The gloomy girl didn't go straight to her room, you must first make a quick stop at the family aquarium and catch some of the best piranhas in the house.

Wednesday unable to arrange a minor accident for his future "playmate", decided to pour his nerves on his school's swim team.

Over and over they tormented his feeble little brother, Pugsley, a privilege only Wednesday can have.

Because of this, Wednesday has decided to take going away gifts for his old school very seriously.

With a little luck these gifts will be the last thing those bullies see in their lives.

XXX

Once Wednesday finished packing her parting gifts (hungry piranhas), she holed up in her room, needing a moment to herself.

Wednesday Addams is an amazing and badass girl with a brilliant intellect and a bunch of talents. She could handle almost any kind of situation imaginable.

But deep down, deep down, deep as the depths of Tartarus, past a lot of voluntary and involuntary barriers… Wednesday is a 15-year-old girl who has never been away from home for too long.

In an impossibly dark and bleak corner of Wednesday's mind, beneath an avalanche of teenage rebellion and mother-figure resentments.

There is a shadow of the subconscious that feels hurt at the idea of her corny parents, they finally got tired of her and found the perfect place to send her away.

"I'm too tired to plan a satisfying revenge against a target I know nothing about." Wednesday mumbles, in a slightly whipped tone, setting the bags full of piranhas on the desk.

After that Wednesday begins to do his usual nightly rituals before going to sleep. Strangely for Wednesday tonight, sleep came with an eerie naturalness.

XXX

In an alternate timeline where the world was simpler and less complicated.

Wednesday would solve a string of mysterious serial murders, defeat a hideous monster, and a boy disturbed and manipulated by the monster in red boots.

In this universe things will be very different, the obstacles will be bigger and the enemies will be on a completely different level than anything Wednesday has ever encountered before.

Fortunately, she won't be alone in this adventure.

Tonight, Wednesday is about to be visited by her first allies, albeit in a supporting role from behind the lines.

XXX

Wednesday Addams, clad in black pajamas, lies flat on her bed, arms folded across her chest as if she were a vampire or a corpse to be placed in a barre.

Slowly the creaking window of Wednesday's bedroom opens, letting in a couple of brightly colored butterflies.

A small velvet blue and white butterfly accompanied by a large black-grey butterfly.

These two butterflies flew straight at the Goth Sleeping Beauty, landing on Wednesday's forehead.

Once the two butterflies came into contact with their future protégé, they crumbled into a shining dust, entering Wednesday.

XXX

Wednesday Addams nearly blinked in confusion, an event that hasn't happened since she was a toddler.

A moment ago, Wednesday was lying in her bed, trying to sleep.

Now she finds herself standing, dressed in a strange school uniform of dark monochromatic colors.

Being in a particularly ... nice place for Wednesday's taste, an ancient crypt.

This place is a real crypt, built following the schemes of the French crypts of Saint Denis.

Stone floors and walls that are dyed velvet blue for a reason.

The room is dimly lit, only about ten candles keep the light in this place.

In the center of this crypt is round blue carpet with gold stitching and a large "V" in the center.

Atop the carpet is a black desk with a strange bald old man sitting in a comfortable desk chair.

The man has white hair, a long nose, bloodshot eyes like pinheads, and wears a black suit and white gloves.

Next to the man with a long curved nose, comparable to a bird's beak, is a beautiful woman.

This woman, 173 centimeters tall, has short platinum-blonde hair and golden eyes. She wears a blue dress that resembles a stewardess' outfit with five black-lined circles outside small yellow circles, blue gloves, a blue attendant-like hat, black leggings and blue, knee-length boots.

"Did I by chance die in my sleep and find myself before my judge of the underworld?" Wednesday asks, in a terrifyingly apathetic tone of voice.

For a 15-year-old girl to immediately think of death and a judge worthy of the underworld, instead of a kidnapping or a strange dream ... is nothing short of disturbing.

" Welcome to the Velvet Room. My name is Igor. I am honored to make your acquaintance." Igor said, in a calm and cordial tone, pretending he hadn't heard Wednesday's morbid question.

"This is Elizabeth. Like me, she is a resident of this place." Igor said, turning towards her the woman dressed in blue velvet, introducing her to Wednesday

"My name is Elizabeth. Nice to meet you." Elizabeth said, greeting Wednesday warmly.

' This place is too cold to be heaven and too hot to be hell. It means I'm still alive.' Wednesday thinks, feeling an odd feeling that she hasn't finished her business on Earth.

" Igor, where am I and how did I come to this Velvet Room?" Wednesday asks, walking straight to Igor's desk.

If the gloomy girl doesn't like what she will hear, Igor risks getting a broken nose.

"This place exists somewhere between dream and reality, mind and matter." Igor communicates, reciting the famous words that describe the Velvet Room.

"It means I'm in some kind of dream space." Wednesday said, willingly accepting Igor's explanation.

A girl might go crazy or describe the whole situation as a delusion/nightmare.

But Wednesday is far from being just any girl.

Plus being part of a long line of women and men who have played with black magic allows you to keep an open mind.

Honestly, getting the soul/psyche separated from the body and ending up in a strange room, located in a dream dimension, is pretty tame.

Wednesday's grandmother has far more bizarre and absurd stories.

"Could the cause of this event be related to my visions?" Wednesday asks, believing that the blame for her appearance in the Velvet Rooms is a side effect of her psychic abilities.

Recently, Wednesday has been plagued by visions.

The same dark girl described them as: "They turn on without warning and feel like electroshock therapy, but without the satisfying afterburn."

"Maybe yes, maybe not. Only those who have somehow fulfilled the contract are welcome." Igor said, neither confirming nor denying that Wednesday's visions are the cause of her arrival at the Velvet Room.

" I find myself in the Velvet Room, with the two. Now, what happens ?

To return to my body, do I have to face one of you in a duel of wits and skill?" Wednesday asks, expecting to fight his way out of this Velvet Room.

If you haven't figured it out yet, Wednesday has a pretty dark and violent worldview.

"None of this will be necessary, my dear. From now on, consider yourself a guest of the Velvet Room. You can come and go as you please." Said Igor, killing all kinds of violence in the bud to get out of the Velvet Room.

"You remind me of my father, too kind for your own good." Wednesday mumbles, slightly disappointed that he can't get the anger out of her system.

But all in all, returning to the real world without having to hurt a long-nosed old man is acceptable.

"How do I leave?" asks Wednesday, not knowing enough about the dark arts to step out of this dream space on command.

Igor, I snap my fingers, creating a small blue flame that turns into a white key.

"Please take it, my dear. This key identifies you as a guest. Keep it with great care." Igor said, making the key float, landing in Wednesday's hands.

Just as happened earlier, the key once in contact with Wednesday, crumbled into a magical dust, conceptually uniting with Wednesday.

"Til our next meeting, Miss in Black." said Elizabeth, greeting Wednesday.

XXX

Right after Elizabeth's greeting. Wednesday opened his eyes, returning to her bedroom.

Looking around, Wednesday finds nothing unusual except for the open window and the rising sun.

"Was it all a dream or did it really happen?" Question Wednesday, not being able to say precisely whether the Velvet Room exists or not?

Wednesday's question will be answered when he arrives at Nevermore and has some of his first danger lurking in the shadows and dirty secrets of the school and the rest of the city.

Keep on ...
