Author Note: Here is the new chapter of my story, I hope you like it.

I admit Luz didn't get too much screen time like Wednesday and Bruce.

But we are still in the beginning of the story, the characters have just arrived at the place where all the plot of the Wednesday Series will happen, with elements of Persona Series and Fate Stay Night.

Throughout the story, each character will have their moment to shine.

PS. I remind you that if I get reviews, favors/follows/kudos, the story and my entire creative process will improve.

Story Arc: Welcome to a Nevermore

Episode 2: The First Day of School (I)

Chapter 6: A nap for Luz

Synopsis: The two extravagant families have left for Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday, Bruce and Luz are in the same car for the next four hours.

Thanks to Luz's intervention, his antisocial friends have not started a new duel while inside the car. Instead, they talk about crime scenes and serial killer dangers.

On the way Luz falls asleep, arriving in the Velvet Rooms and meeting Igor and Margaret.

While staying in the Velvet Room, Luz receives a Tarot reading from Igor, revealing that she will not have a quiet school year at Nevermore Academy.

POV Narrator

Two peculiar cars are leaving Boston, taking the shortest route to get to Jericho and Nevermore Academy.

The first car is a combination of a limousine and a hearse.

The second car is a Muscle Car, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, painted fire red.

Normally, each family would stay in their own car, finding a way to kill time.

But, during lunch, the parents argued among themselves, deciding it would be better to put their teenagers in one car, to offer an opportunity to get to know each other better.

XXX

In the back seat of the Addamses' car sits Wednesday, with Bruce and Luz in front of her.

Wednesday changed her outfit, not being able to wear the ruined outfit during the duel.

Now, Wednesday wears black pants, a black and white striped shirt, along with a gray sweatshirt.

The dark girl can't decide whether she was lucky or unlucky.

For the rest of the trip, Wednesday, he won't have to see or hear any more of his parents' saccharine moments. This is a little mercy for Wednesday.

But for the rest of the journey, which is four hours, he must be in the same car with Bruce and Luz.

Unfortunately, Lurch has strict orders not to stop the car for the world, so Wednesday can't escape or throw his new acquaintances out of the car.

"It's just the three of us for the next few hours, shall we play something?" Luz proposes, in an upbeat tone, wanting to get to know Wednesday better.

Too bad the gloomy girl does not want to get to know her new acquaintances better.

"Car games are stupid." Bruce declares, not wanting to waste several hours of his life on something as ridiculous as: guess what I'm thinking about?

"For once say something sensible." Comment Wednesday, agreed with Bruce on the futility of travel games.

"People like you two are too serious for your own good, you don't know how to appreciate the simple things in life." Luz murmurs, shaking her head, knowing she'll have a lot of work to do with Wednesday.

Bruce is a tough case too, but over the years, Luz has learned how to deal with her best friend, you just have to know what to pick to spark his interest.

"You don't want to play anything. Maybe you want to talk about something that's on your mind. Do you have an idea what it will be like to go to Nevermore Academ?" Luz asks, wanting to hear Wednesday and Bruce's thoughts regarding their future school.

"Don't get used to the idea of attending Nevermore Academy with me. Because when I have the opportunity I will leave and never come back." Wednesday declares, not even trying to hide his intent to escape from her parents' old school.

" You answered my request, this is progress! We'll be making friendship bracelets by the end of the month!" Luz exclaims loudly, as if she had won a prestigious tournament.

"Is Luz always so full of energy?" Wednesday asks, inwardly hoping that Luz either ate too much sugar or drank an energy drink.

If Luz does this all the time, Wednesday has to work as fast as possible to escape from Nevermore Academy.

"Luz is a sociable and hyperactive creature, not ready to go on adventures. Long story short, yes, it always is." Bruce replies, with a slightly tired tone, lowering his head a little.

The inky-haired wizard is willing to kill or do much worse, all for Luz's sake.

But that doesn't mean that there aren't moments where he wishes Luz was a little quieter girl.

Wednesday envisioned spending a lifetime alongside someone as energetic as Luz…it doesn't end well for either one.

"How didn't you commit suicide or keep from killing her in your sleep?" Wednesday asks, looking at Bruce as if he's accomplished a feat comparable to the Labors of Hercules.

" The same process as forming an immunity to poison.

A small daily dose of Luz, and eventually you become immune or become addicted to her presence." Bruce replies, with a small smile, knowing quite a few people who hated Luz at first sight.

One of those people is Amity Blight who surprisingly, has long since become Luz's amazing girlfriend.

"Doubtful that a person like me could become addicted to the presence of an energetic and colorful girl. If such a girl exists, I would kill her." Wednesday said, sounding fully convinced of her words.

The gloomy girl is completely unaware that at the end of the first semester she will have to go back on her words because of a certain Lycan roommate.

"You're not an easy person to support either, sometimes you go too far with your experiments and murder cases." Luz said, participating in this discussion, not wanting to be on the sidelines as happened inside the restaurant.

"Murders?" asks Wednesday, sounding slightly interested in this kind of macabre subject.

Luz noticed the slightest change in the shadowy girl's tone and posture.

' I found Wednesday's weakness, crimes of a morbid nature. Well, I'm already prepared to talk about this stuff, thanks to Bruce.' Luz thinks, holding back a sneaky smile, having just discovered the right tool to pierce Wednesday's armor.

"It may not seem like it, but I know homicide, I have participated in solving a large number of normal and paranormal crimes." Luz said, with a smile, finally being able to use this part of her life to make friends.

Most of his friends aren't that keen on solving the grisly mysteries of criminal masterminds.

"Are you serious? You don't look like a girl who visits serial killing scenes." Wednesday said, sounding skeptical, looking at Luz for signs of a lie.

" I am the best detective in the world and Luz is my best assistant. For almost two years she has been helping me solve all sorts of mysteries, with her various skills and services." Bruce said, praising Luz for the work she's been doing since they became friends.

Luz couldn't help but puff out her chest, feeling a nice feeling of personal pride, when Bruce praised her for her work.

"Although sometimes I have to ask Marcy or the Twin Pines to assist me with my cases.

Because my Dear Watson is too busy dressing you up as a waitress and licking her fiancée's feet." Bruce said, delivering a critique of Luz's performance lately.

Luz's pride turned to extreme embarrassment, recalling how Bruce interrupted a rather private moment with Amity…

"Bruce, we've talked about this before. You're my best friend, my partner, and soon to be my older half-brother." Luz said, in a slightly annoyed tone, having had such an argument many times in the past and present.

"But you can't expect me to abandon my plans with my amazing girlfriend to help you solve a museum theft." Luz said, crossing her arms, ardently hating not paying proper attention to her beloved.

If two summers ago, Luz's biggest dilemma was how to divide herself between the Boiling Isles and her old home in Gravesfield.

Luz's biggest problem these days comes in the old dilemma: Best Friend VS Girlfriend.

'Bruce, my best friend. A brilliant guy, talented, adventurous, prepared for every possible scenario and incredibly possessive.

Amity, my amazing girlfriend. A witch, beautiful, intelligent, athletic, loving, and easily jealous.

The two most important people in life have a love-hate relationship. Making it difficult for me to divide my time.' Think Luz, wishing she could fix the problem between Amity and Bruce that fluctuates in intensity every week.

"I'm not asking you to abandon your fiancée. But when we have an important job on our hands, we can't allow for distraction or wasting time on dates.

Duty comes first, then emotional and carnal pleasure." Bruce said, not wanting to ruin Luz and Amity's romance. But when there are lives at stake or equally important events, a missed date isn't the end of the world .

Luz looks down, turning quite red when she mentions emotional and… carnal pleasure.

"If you're done talking about complicated teenage romances. Can you go back to talking about murders?" Wednesday asks, sounding exasperated.

The dark girl growing up with Gomez and Morticia as parents has seen and heard enough love stories.

If she's forced to hear about Luz's love story, Wednesday could commit murder.

"Sorry, Wednesday, for watching this discussion." Luz said, apologizing on behalf of both of us.

" When you work with family, it becomes difficult to separate private life and professional life." Comments Bruce, not wanting to go into detail about how complicated such a relationship can get.

"I accept your apologies if you tell me about the most gruesome and macabre case you have seen." Wednesday said, wanting to get something out of this strange social experiment enforced by her parents.

"Do you have any preferences, the two of us have seen a lot of strange and creepy things." Luz said, being spoiled for choice when it comes to creepy stuff.

" Our summer vacation in Gravity Falls alone was a marathon of paranormal cases.

I've only filled several shelves with the first month's files." Bruce said, having the ability to write a series of books for teenagers or maybe do an award-winning cartoon, using those files as a basis.

"I've always had a soft spot for big-city serial killings." Wednesday said, keeping a stoic face, but his lips moving in the ghost of a smile

"Let me get out my iPad, inside I keep a digital copy of our less confidential files." Bruce said, pulling out of his black coat, an advanced red iPad, with his initials on it.

"Great idea, Bruce. So Wednesday doesn't just have to listen to us and imagine everything we say." Luz said, walking over to Bruce to see the digital library of the Ipad.

"The case of the thief faces, could it go well?" Luz asks, proposing to talk about the ex-surgeon who kidnaps and kills people in order to build a perfect face to be able to steal the identity of an old rich friend of his.

"If there are mutilated corpses and plenty of blood, that's fine with me." said Wednesday, having rather specific tastes in crime.

"Last spring, shortly after we moved to Boston, we were contacted by a woman whose husband went missing." Bruce begins to tell about the case of the thief of faces.

'Maybe befriending Wednesday won't be so hard, I just have to soften her with stories of hardened criminals while I work my friendship magic.' Luz thinks, with a good feeling, as if Wednesday and her detective work are an incredible match.

Wednesday unintentionally began to interact with Mrs. Owl's children, like a semi-normal person.

XXX

POVWednesday Addams

Looking at the digital clock on the Ipad, I can tell that exactly three hours have passed since Bruce and Luz started talking about their solved cases.

Less than an hour away and we would have arrived at Nevermore Academy and I would no longer be directly forced by circumstances or by my parents to interact with the two of them.

Normally, such a result should be liberating for me, to be able to be alone and concentrate on my work without Interruption.

I'll never admit it to anyone, but the last few hours have been… more than tolerable. I could wish the trip could have lasted longer.

It's not something ridiculous and futile like enjoying the company of Bruce and Luz.

The two of them are good at stimulating my creative process.

As a writer I always try to make my work realistic and of excellent quality.

But my parents prevent me from visiting crime scenes or invading the police precinct to directly investigate criminal masterminds and their methods.

Many times I have had to settle for second hand information instead of getting it directly from the source.

Bruce and Luz were helpful in providing me with details of the murders, crime scene photographs, file copies, interrogation copies, etc.

I received on a silver platter everything needed to write the next three chapters of my novel.

It was interesting to see how Bruce and Luz share the tale, each bringing their own twist to the tale.

Luz focuses on people's emotions and big actions, giving a general presentation of what happened. Not failing to provide their opinion and the occasion saccharine comment.

Bruce, prefers to provide detailed information about each person and place, introducing details about the revealing objects and actions of the story.

If Luz is a storyteller setting the stage for her audience, Bruce is a doctor explaining his findings in detail to a commission.

Two completely opposite methodologies, but strangely fit together.

Before my acquaintances could talk in detail about a rather promising case.

This is a hired killer who operates as a serial killer to confuse the police, a rather clever tactic.

If the killer goes crazy, leaving signatures at crime scenes and taking trophies, everyone is looking for a raving lunatic.

While in reality he is a cold-blooded assassin working for the highest bidder, a tactic I can respect.

I would have been interested in reading the police file as Bruce gives his objective opinion on the killer's methods.

But Luz fell asleep, resting her head against Bruce's shoulder, ending the show.

If something like this had happened to me with Pugsley, I would have woken him up with boiling water or a fire.

Bruce reacted in such a sweet way that it made me want to puke.

He stopped his explanation about the autopsy of the killer's latest victim and put away the Ipad containing the case information.

Then with gentle movements that even my father doesn't use with my mother, Bruce shifts Luz's position so that her head is pressed against her thigh.

If that wasn't enough, Bruce snapped his fingers, using his magic to summon around Luz, a pillow, blanket, and noise canceling headphones.

" You're too kind to Luz, you could have pushed her against the window or woke her up with a slap, it's not necessary to give her such a comfortable rest." I said, trying to keep my nausea from this thoughtful scene.

"Wednesday, you may not understand this. But when you get attached to someone, you begin to be kind and thoughtful toward them." Bruce said as he rubs Luz's head as if she were a pet.

This line of thinking is not so alien to me. I may be a person who hates any form of physical or emotional contact.

But I grew up in a loving family, maybe too loving and open to public displays of affection.

"Do you realize that such thoughtful behavior is probably the trigger for the jealousy and violence of Luz's girlfriend?" I asked, beginning to see why this Amity has a habit of fighting with Bruce.

If my father sees my mother in such a position with another man, don't waste a second to call for a duel to the death.

"The problems between me and my future sister-in-law are none of your business." Bruce said, raising his voice, letting me know that he doesn't want to talk about this matter.

There is still an hour to go to Nevermore Academy and it looks like it will be an hour of silence.

Oddly enough, the silence doesn't seem to be as comfortable as usual.

"Besides murder and the sword, what are your more sinister interests?" I ask a simple question, expecting a short answer or complete silence.

"What do you know about making potions and poisons?" Bruce said, pulling out of his coat, a notebook decorated with an alchemical symbol.

XXX

POV Narrator

Meanwhile Bruce and Wednesday are talking about potions and poisons.

Luz's mind is traveling to a very distant place, where she is about to meet two unique characters.

"Isn't this the Addams' car?" Luz murmurs in a low voice, going to the window to figure out where exactly she is.

The young witch from the window sees only a long paved road, everything else is covered by a dense fog that seems capable of swallowing people and their dreams.

Luz, unable to obtain any geographical information from the window, shifts her attention to the inside of the car.

The car appears to be a long luxury limousine, upholstered in blue velvet.

The seats, the carpet, the ceiling, everything was a deep dark blue and it was soft as clouds beneath him.

Directly to her left, a rack of crystal glasses and wine glasses interspersed with liquor bottles added to the air of class that the vehicle's interior exudes.

In the center of the rack of glasses is a television screen facing the opposite wall, currently turned off.

Light comes from a tiered fixture overhead, filling the space with a soothing blue-white glow.

A soft, haunting song coming from hidden speakers, a woman's voice singing to the accompaniment of a piano and violins.

Luz made a great discovery, she is not alone in this blue velvet upholstered limousine.

Opposite the good witch are two people, an old man with a long nose and a very beautiful young woman.

' I find myself in the second most luxurious limousine I have ever seen in my life, in the company of a strange old man and a beautiful assistant. I've been in far worse situations.' Luz thinks, not caring much about her current situation.

If things get ugly, Luz can appear to use her Glyphs and Spell Cards to get her way out of the situation. In the extreme case there is the nuclear option, use the Hercules Class Cards.

"Welcome to the Velvet Room." Said the old man with the long curved nose, greeting Luz warmly.

"Oh ... it seems we have come across another guest of a very strange fate." Said the old man, turning to the beautiful woman beside him.

"My name is Igor. Pleased to make your acquaintance." Said the old man, introducing himself as Igor, the keeper of this place.

"And I'm here to guide you on the journey ahead. My name is Margaret." Said the elegant lady and resident of the Velvet Room.

Margaret is 170cm tall, she appears to be in her early twenties.

Margaret has platinum-blond hair, pale skin, and golden eyes; traits shared with her siblings.

Like her sister Elizabeth, she is dressed all in dark blue with matching high-heeled shoes and uses black and gold accessories.

Also, Margaret carries with her a blue book, titled "Le Grimoire".

" Hello, Igor and Margaret, I'm Luz." Luz said, waving cheerfully to the strange couple in front of her.

The good witch seeing how polite Igor and Margaret are; above all, not having perceived a trace of malice from them.

Luz decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.

" Can you tell me where I am and why I find myself in this beautiful limousine ?" Luz asks, hoping to get a little explanation from Igor or Margaret.

" This is a place that exists between dream and reality, between material and immaterial. It is a room that can only be accessed by those who have entered into a contract." Igor said, reciting the famous words describing the Velvet Room.

"You mean that all this is a dream but at the same time it's not a dream?" Luz said, tilting her head, rather confused by Igor's explanation.

When it comes to magic Luz is better at the practical aspects than the theoretical ones.

If he ever needed a genius to solve problems far beyond his knowledge he would call on Bruce or Amity, the two of them are the greatest magicians he knows.

" Tell me, Luz, do you believe in fortune telling?" Igor asks, with a smirk on his lips, taking over the discussion.

"I'm a girl with a pretty open mind, I've seen all sorts of nonsense in recent years, from witches to aliens." Luz replies, being able to believe in all kinds of supernatural or science fiction madness.

With the kind of life in Luz, it would be foolish not to believe in the millions of possibilities offered by the universe.

" A guest for my taste." Igor said, crossing his hands under his nose, appreciating Luz's wit.

"Now, every reading is done with the same cards, yet the results are always different.

Life, future and destiny are always in flux." Igor said, summoning a deck of cards out of nowhere.

The man with the long crooked nose shuffles the deck of cards, then when finished, places seven cards face down on the table.

"The Tower standing upright represents the immediate future. I am sorry to say this, Luz, but a terrible catastrophe is about to befall you and your friends." Igor said, reading the first card, starting with the bad news.

"I know I should be surprised, but I was expecting something like this." Luz said, they don't seem the least bit surprised at a dark threat on the horizon.

" This summer I led a house-turned-mecha against a dream demon from another dimension and his lieutenants.

Earlier this year I was stranded on Amphibia, helping Bruce fight a Golden Demon Lord and cut down his demon tree.

Then in late fall I aimed a super-canon at a hive mind of evil spirits living inside a moon-sized machine.

Thick summer on the Boiling Isles I set foot in Castlevania where I participated in the slaying of Dracula's shadow, then there was a certain villain in armour.

I made a habit of going through end-of-the-world scenarios. " Declares Luz, talking easily about her previous adventures, proving that she can get you used to any kind of scenario.

Igor continued his fortune-telling work, the next card was turned over, revealing a moon with a sad face.

"The Moon, upright. This card represents hesitation and mystery.

It is certain that once you reach your destination you will be involved in a large number of mysteries, some small, some fundamental to the lives of those close to you." Igor said, sensing many obstacles in Luz's path.

" Still nothing new about me. I'm a witch and a detective's assistant, not a week goes by without discovering and solving a mystery." Luz said, still slightly shaken by Igor's words

Igor unveiled the third card of the deck, which depicts two paths to which life could lead, and therefore a symbol of being at a crossroads and having to make a decision.

" The Lovers, standing upright. Distance will test your heart.

But if you manage to remain firm in your principles, nothing and no one can stop you from finding happiness." Said Igor, wishing a challenge and a reward for Luz's love life.

" I knew it would be more difficult than usual. Amity will go to Ars Magus Academy while I will go to Nevermore Academy." Luz murmurs, showing a worried face about the possible degradation of her relationship with Amity.

Igor has unveiled the fourth card of the deck, showing a devil above two naked and chained figures.

"The Devil, upside down. Many of your enemies hide under a mask of good intentions. You must be careful if you don't want to invite the devil into your home and lose something precious." Igor said, delivering a vague warning about people with two faces.

"Beware of touchy strangers, understood." Luz replies, having mentally noted down Igor's warning.

Igor revealed the fifth card of the deck, showing a skull sealed inside a gloomy door.

"Let me guess Death upside down. Is that a bad sign?" Luz asks, starting to sweat, hoping sincerely not to receive a death sentence.

"The Death Arcana is arguably one of the most misunderstood cards in the standard Tarot deck due to its common interpretations involving physical death.

While certainly associated with omen and doom, the Death Arcanum also symbolizes metamorphosis and profound change, regeneration and cycles." Margaret said, providing a more thorough explanation of the Death Arcana.

"This is a rather unique case. I will have to unravel the rest of the cards to make an accurate prediction." Igor said, in an intrigued tone.

The long-nosed old man has revealed the sixth and week cards of the deck.

Aeon in reverse, followed by Hope in upright position.

Igor looks carefully at this unusual combination of cards: Death, Aeon, Hope.

" Your destiny for this year has been intertwined with two people who will play a vital role in the crisis.

Both are facing a cycle of rebirth and profound change, as they will be at the end of the metamorphosis will end the fate of this journey.

Hope for success exists, but it must be kept by a person with a good heart." Said Igor, finishing interpreting the unusual combination of Cards.

"You're talking about Wednesday and Bruce." Luz declares, having no need to guess, to understand who the two people are. This is where Igor speaks.

"I'm sure Bruce can handle it, so far he's been through all the prophecies he's ever received." Luz said, not having the slightest concern for her partner.

Too bad that the same can not be said of the gothic girl known today.

"But I don't know what to say about Wednesday, I've only known her for a short time.

At first glance she seems like a sad girl who doesn't want to open her heart to others. Probably being labeled weird from an early age wasn't easy for her." Luz said, knowing firsthand what it's like to feel out of place and an outcast among her peers.

For 14 years, Luz was the weird girl obsessed with witches, zero friends and multiple bullies.

Then meet an Occult Detective who saves your life from a furious specter and you become part of the moonlit world.

Every few weeks, a creature that wants to kill you or a rogue sorcerer appears.

But through this vibrant lifestyle, Luz has made a lot of new friends, getting to know Eda and expanding her family with new members.

Surely, Wednesday hasn't met an eccentric madman capable of turning his world upside down and changing his life.

" I advise you to stay close to your friends and help them as best you can, you will be their hope for a better future." Igor said, giving Luz a little advice on how she should act.

" No problem, Igor.

If it comes to making friends I am a certified expert. I have saved two worlds with the power of friendship!" said Luz, boasting of her achievements on the Boiling Isles and on Amphibia as "Good Witch of Friendship".

It sure sounds like a title straight out of My Little Pony, but Luz's accomplishments as a friend-making expert remain.

" It is possible that this is what fate has in store for you in the near future." Igor said, appreciating Luz's positive worldview.

"Now, until our paths cross again. Goodbye." Margaret said, a smile on her lips.

As Margaret said goodbye, Luz's vision begins to blur until the Velvet Room vanishes for nothing.

Is Luz falling asleep in a dream or waking up?

XXX

Back to the real world.

"Luz, we're almost there at Nevermore Academy. You need to wake up!" Bruce said while shaking Luz lightly, trying to wake her up from her nap.

Wednesday, seeing that Bruce is using an inefficient method, decided to help in his own way.

PAFF!

A slap from Wednesday is enough to wake anyone up.

"Ouch-Ouch !" Luz groans in pain, waking up instantly.

" Watch and learn, violence is always the right answer." said Wednesday, with some watch in applying the force of him.

"I don't like seeing Luz slapped. But I can't argue with the results, Luz is awake." Bruce said, deciding to turn a blind eye this time and not scold (threat) Wednesday.

"Have we reached our destination?" Luz asks, massaging her wounded cheek.

" A few minutes and we would see our future school." Bruce said, rather briskly.

As if he'd discovered something along the way that made him change his opinion about Nevermore Academy.

'I missed something when I slept.' Luz thinks, noticing Bruce's change in mood.

XXX

In less than ten minutes.

The two automatons passed through a large gate, with the inscription: Nevermore Academy.

The small road leading to the infamous school is flanked by large trees, combined with the Gothic style of the gate.

Everything has been designed to inspire a mysterious and slightly sinister atmosphere.

The kind of place Bruce and Luz love to explore.

Even Wednesday, if she weren't angry with her parents and completely against the idea of attending this institution, would have taken a long look at the architecture of the place.

The two cars stopped in front of the imposing building that will be the home and school for three out of the ordinary teenagers.

The first one to get out of the car was Luz, wanting to see her new school up close.

" This must be the most beautiful school on Earth !" Luz declares loudly, finding the school's aesthetic quite appealing and in tune with her tastes.

" This place reminds me of Cantacuzino Castle, in Bușteni in Romania. Whoever designed this place must have gone to the same school as Grigore Cerchez." Bruce comments as he steps out of the Addams Family hearse.

"School supplies and extracurricular activities are probably not worth wasting four hours of my life.

But to admire this example of architecture and walk through these corridors, it deserves to take such a journey." Bruce said, taking out his phone that looks like something out of a Cyberpunk themed video game and snapping some pictures.

"You two barely impress each other. A prison is a prison no matter what it looks like." Wednesday said, not sharing the same opinion as her new… acquaintances.

Luz blinks, not being able to believe the words of her unofficial new friend.

" How can you not like such a school !?

For years I've dreamed of ending up in an All-Ghouls School and having a dream adventure, with my band of misfits." Luz said, in a shocking tone.

Years ago, the young glyph witch allegedly sold a leg and an arm to attend such a school.

Definitely, after meeting Bruce and Eda, went to the Boiling Isles, then Amphibia and recently Gravity Falls.

Luz would no longer sell her body parts for the opportunity to go to an All-Ghouls School.

But disrespecting such a place for Luz seems like a bad thing.

" Such a dream is nothing short of ridiculous. Attending Nevermore is no blessing.

But a punishment imposed by our parents for their subtle manipulative purposes.

If you think otherwise it means you're naive." Wednesday declares, with his sharp tongue, not thinking about the effect of his words.

It would be better for Wednesday to burn the school down and walk away, never to face his parents again.

Starting a relationship is always the hardest part.

Both parties don't know each other well enough to know what not to say or do to offend and/or provoke the other party.' thinks Bruce, noting how Wednesday hits one of Luz's old nerves, about her weird lonely girl period.

Knowing that it would be best for all involved in this relationship if Luz was at her maximum level of happiness and sociability, so Bruce wouldn't have to overexert himself in interacting with others, leaving that task to Luz.

The black-haired sorcerer decided to stop this quarrel even before it was born, using the kindest and most common methods in the world.

" Luz, first of all, you already fulfilled this dream about two summers ago when we went to the Boiling Isles.

Second, wasn't your dream to end up in a love triangle with a werewolf, a vampire, and a beautiful witch?" Bruce asks, in an innocent tone, aiming to tease Luz so she'll forget about Wednesday's offense

"I've stopped having dreams like this since I met Amity. Stop mentioning my embarrassing past." Luz declares, starting to blush with embarrassment, trying not to remember her weird old fantasy fanfics.

"You're right. We should be talking about pointy-eared girls who are locked up in catacombs and attacked by an evil Latina witch." Bruce said, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips, having interrupted enough of Luz's private moments to get a sense of her wildest fantasies.

" How did you read my internet history, since last time I delete it !" Luz said, having taken precautions to prevent these scenarios from happening again.

Unfortunately, living with a person who is in some ways the reincarnation of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Moriarty renders all sorts of standard precautions useless.

Which Luz ends up forgetting quite often.

"No, I was just guessing. But thanks for confirming the theories. For your birthday, I'll give you a Dark Magic Girl costume and a nice whip." Bruce said, with an amused smirk, holding back a small laugh.

Wednesday's shark nose kicked in, sensing a new kind of pain to chase.

" Who could have imagined that such an innocent face could have such tastes, it is good to know." Wednesday comments, in an ambiguous tone, deliberately stepping back from Luz, as if she were infected or dirty.

" Great, you decide to become friends just to make fun of me." Luz mutters, going completely red in the face, surely a mix of extreme embarrassment and anger.

"You guys can have fun later and pester each other. We need to go talk to Principal Larissa." Morticia said, having wanted Wednesday to continue to interact on her own accord with Bruce and Luz.

But being late has an appointment is not the Addams style.

With these words, the two extravagant families entered the school to finalize the enrollment paperwork for Wednesday, Bruce and Luz.

Continues ...
